Not all that surprisingly, Kate didn't go home to the kids after her performance on Monday. In fact, she admitted she didn't even take a moment to call them yesterday.
A full day after her first dance routine Billy Bush spotted her still lingering around L.A., not back in PA like she promised everyone, still talking about herself and her crappy performance.
Tony finally tweeted late this evening they're headed back to PA.

It should surprise no one that Kate is a liar.
I called this. I said Kate would do the flight a few times then tire of running back and forth so much and just stick around LA.
If she were to actually make it more than a few weeks she will definitely lose interest in all the traveling.
Someone from Popeater (on Joy Behar show) says that according to a Kate 'source' Kate will have all 8 kids sitting in the front row next week, in order to gain sympathy votes, based on the kids cuteness. Once again, using the kids to advance her fame. Sick. the source claims that Kate will do anything to avoid a vote-off.
Also, supposedly Rosie ODonnell ripped Kate a new one this AM on her radio show.

One of these days Kate is going to play that card one time too many. Everyone knows she and her children are not suffering financially. Unless she dresses them in rags I doubt if people will be fooled. If she wants to win votes what she needs to do is actually put her nose to the grindstone and work at dancing until she's so good that she earns those votes. She put herself out there with her big mouth and now only she can deliver. She can't shuffle this one off on her nannies and bffs and ex.
I noticed that everyone else had someone supporting them in the audience that they showed on camera. With Kate, they could do nothing but show random audience member faces. Guess they can't show Steve's face.
I think the twins could behave but I really cannot imagine the six other kids being able to sit through something like this. They are only five. First they have to be on a long flight and change time zones. They'll be exhausted. Then not only do they have to sit through a two hour live show, with no ability to cut things out if anyone has a tantrum or distrupts the show otherwise, but there is a lot of audience warm ups at least an hour before where they expect everyone to be seated. Recipe for disaster. But I bet Kate is worried she won't be on long and needs to parade them out soon.
I doubt the they will try to put the kids in the audience. It's going to be hard to control 8 kids and who knows, they may cry, act out, etc etc.
What time do they usually sleep? And when does the show start?
Kate wont be sitting next to them so it's going to be hard for Kate to control them. Unless maybe Jon is with them. The kids seem to be better behave when Jon is around.
8 kids at the ballpark with Jon. Kids were pretty much well behaved.
8 kids with Kate at restaurant. Kids were crying and whining.
If the kids do cry and act out. It will be career suicide for Kate Gosselin. Everyone will be screaming Child Exploitation and how Kate should be home with her kids. Not using them as a PR stunt.
Bringing the kids out has got to be the last resort for Kate when she is one vote away from being gone to stay afloat another week.
I think it would be okay to bring the twins out, as in they aren't going to distrupt the show, but six 5-year-olds for 2 hours .... especially these kids, riskiest move ever.
The show starts at 5PM, but that assumes the kids have adjusted to the time zone. Assume it will feel like 8pm to them, and they will be tired and cranky. Even if the adjusted, guess what, 5pm is dinner time! So if they're not tired, they'll be hungry.
Total disaster, I would never let her gamble on such a thing if I were handling her.
I suppose what they could try to do is have them play in a trailor for most of the show, then bring them out at a commercial break just before Kate goes on. Maybe that might work if they're only expected to sit still ten minutes.
Remember their legs shaking at the wedding and all the fighting?

Yep, poor Katie--she didn't realize this flying back and forth wasn't going to be as easy as pie. She doesn't dare back out of that now or she's eating crow about the "good mommy" b.s.
How long before she's on some medicinal assistance to help her carry this load?
As cute as Tony is the way he constantly tweets and uploads pics, he may be digging Kate's own hole. All we have to do is check what he's tweeting to know where Kate is. And it was NOT in PA!
Maybe it's wishful thinking but I don't think they'll parade out any of the kids. Has any other 'star' had their kids in the audience? Maybe on a finale show but not this early in the game. Too obvious. Even Kate isn't that stupid. Is she?
A lot of stars have had elementery school kids in the audience actually, they just don't always announce it to the world. They'll show them briefly after their dance clapping for mom or dad. But most stars are not like Kate "LOOK AT MY KIDS LOOK LOOK DID YOU SEE!" Most just want their kids their for support, not to exploit them.
The youngest I remember was Jenni Garth's kid who was maybe 3rd grade.
I believe the audience members have to be at least 16 but they've made several exceptions for dancers' children.
And yes, Kate is this stupid. We'll see what happens.
I would be so surprised IF she DIDN'T bring the kids on the show for the sympathy vote. "Boo hoo viewers, look at me FIRST then look at my kids, the Gosselin 8. Please vote for me, I don't have enough $$ from TLC, the books (someone else wrote for me). I need more, More, MORE!"
Tony better just stick to the routine about dancing and stop trying to cover for Kates HUGE ASS. I realize that Tony has as much to lose financially, in this competition as the Shopping Cart does however, when the public begins to realize that he's telling lies to cover up for her, much like she's been doing for 6 years, it isn't going to end favorably for Tony.
The public scorn will be such that whomever he partners with next season will have no chance of winning because he fell into the Shopping Carts, "Twice Bitten" spell.
An article on Kate:

Tee-hee, from the above article:
"Kate tried to appeal to the housewife vote by saying, 'This is for all the moms out there!'" sneers the source. "But really, what kind of mom leaves their kids at home for a dance competition?""
At least if Kate is in LA her kids can rest easy. I am sure the children are much more relaxed and have less anxiety with monster-mom not home.
Tony sounds brain washed--
"Speaking to Zap2it, Dovolani says, "Kate does everything I teach her. Kate came with no dance background whatsoever. When I say 'whatsoever,' she had never, ever danced in public, because she just couldn't. I think she was too insecure to even try.
"Everything she's learning, she's hearing for the first time, like learning the alphabet for the first time. She had no point of reference."
Asked what he thought when he learned he was Gosselin's partner, Dovolani says, "The first thought that crossed my mind is, 'My wife's going to be happy.' My wife is a fan of hers and thinks she's a great mom. We have a common bond. I have twins, and so does Kate."
Dovolani says he admires Gosselin as a mother and especially as a now-single one.
"You understand what Kate goes through, and she's got eight little faces looking at her. People so easily judge her. It's so funny -- she's the ideal role model, because she's a single working parent that has to provide for eight kids at home.
"She's working out of home now. I'm in Pennsylvania working with her, just so she can be close to her kids. She's amazing with them.
"But she gets a lot of flack. The tabloids have been very mean towards her."
~~~~~~~~~
US recently quoted "Dancing With the Stars" pro dancer Mark Ballas (partnered this season with Shannen Doherty, who's had her share of tabloid heat over the years) as calling Gosselin "standoffish."
"I used to baby-sit Mark," Dovolani says. "Yes, I did. So, the point is, Mark and I have known each other for a long time. His mom is one of the reasons why I won my world title.
"They try to paint Mark against us, and it's not going to work, because I know Mark way too well. Besides, if people believe all the tabloids, then they should believe that Elvis is alive, and that people constantly get kidnapped by aliens."
Asked if he had a plan to deal with the inevitable press attention directed at Gosselin, Dovolani says, "None whatsoever, because I really, truly believe the truth prevails. In this particular case, I was so happy to see that she was exactly what my wife and I thought.
"She was a mom that cares a lot about her kids and always puts her kids first. And that's exactly what I got. That's something that made me smile inside, knowing that she puts her family first every single time.
"She has to provide for them, and that's why she's doing our show. 'Dancing With the Stars' asked her to be on the show. She didn't ask to be on the show; they asked her. That's something people need to realize. On 'Dancing With the Stars,' people don't invite themselves. They get invited."
He also emphasizes that Gosselin is putting in the work.
"I'm telling you," he adds, "she goes six hours strong. We'll do five- or six-hour rehearsals, and she's just as energetic at the end as she is in the beginning. She amazes me. She really does."
Tony's putting the ABC spin on it because he's a regular with the show and wants to be asked back next season. It's a certainty that Shopping Khart won't be back next season so he's got to make nice and act like she's the next best thing to a freebie.
Besides Tony having a lot in common with Shopping Khart, we all have a lot in common with her too.
1. Her mother and my mother are both mothers
2. We went to different schools together
3. We breath the same air
4. All of our clocks go from 1-12 and start all over again.
5.
Yes, I can see Kate and her people turning the show into a "Feed the Children" telethon. What a crock!
She's made millions already (reality show, book roylaties, $25,000 per speaking engagement) and is getting,IMO, a LOT of money for dancing terribly--$50-75k per episode. Even if she only lasts 3-4 weeks, that's a lot of money. If Kate can't pay her bills, then she's mismanaging her money. She should be set for many, many years if she is conservative.
And Tony, please stop spouting the "party line" about Kate being a single parent struggling to support her kids and that she "always" puts her kids first. Kate puts Kate first, then money, then maybe her kids. Her very flawed rationale is that, 1) if it's good for her, it's good for the kids and 2) if it makes money, it must be a good thing.
Yes, you need money in this world--but it does not guarantee happiness--and the need for more and more money can become an insatiable desire that consumes a person.
There's a short clip on this page of Tony out and about celebrating after the show. You'll need to scroll down. Kate stayed behind and she isn't with him.
Tony dosn't need to suck up to ABC and put a spin on anythig. He is already a big draw for the show and is quite successful outside of DWTS. He is a true professional!
A true professional would not need to play into the Kate Gosselin PR merry-go-round. And Tony has done that lock, stock and barrel.
I'd love to ask Tony if he's ever had one of Kharts Kasseroles that she claims she gets up at 5am each morning to cook for the Khids so the Khids have dinner that night.
Or better yet.........Ask Tony the name of the Chef from Kraft Services who's in the kitchen cooking for Khart and the Khids while he's there. Oh what tangled webs we weave.........
Tony needs his paycheck. He also has three little faces to feed. It really isn't all about Kate, except in her own mind. I'm sure Tony has had to "play nice" with crappy people before in his profession and he will have to again in the future.
I wonder how the other dancers feel about Kate getting so much of the attention? The others have worked hard and have scored better than Kate because they danced better. I imagine they aren't too happy about the 3rd from last shopping cart getting all the attention. Nobody likes the teacher's pet, even if it is because of negative press. Kate better watch her back...oh, that's right, good ole' Steve is doing that for her. Now we know his purpose, it's to protect her from the real stars.
Tony is a Professional through and through.
It's better to say nothing at all, than to lie.
In my opinion Tony needs to sell Kate because he wants to win too. Of course he won't have anything negative to say. He will also try to put her in the best possible light to win over people.
Is Tony's wife a stay-at-home mom? If so, I wonder how he would feel if she decided she no longer wanted to stay home and raise her kids and wanted to travel all the time and be away from him and them. Kate may not have a choice now and she has to work and do what she can to make money, but she had a choice when she had an income from the show and her books etc and she chose to travel and be away from her kids and her husband.
Kate needs to sell herself now too so she is being sweet and nice. She knows how PR works. Why would she be nasty to her partner and costars and the people who work at DWTS? She's not stupid. She's also being sweeter and nicer because she's happy. She's doing what she always wanted to do. She's being treated like a celebrity. Of course she's all smiles. IMO.
Tony was never going to win with Kate Gosselin as his partner - never. Instead, he has allowed himself to be sucked into the PR mess that surrounds Kate Gosselin. It will not end up a good venture for Tony. If I were him, I would just dance and cut out the twittering and trying to build Kate up. Too many people know what Kate is all about. Kate lives in her own world - it's irrelevant to her the way she treats others - that's the whole point of her narcassistic behavior.
Schmecky Girl, I do believe Tony's wife is a stay at home mom. Here's a picture of her and his children that he tweeted. Too cute!
http://tweetphoto.com/14262452
The wikipedia bio on him is linked below and it's quite interesting. It also gives a lot of detail on his background with DWTS, partners, scores, songs etc. I read somewhere that he was going to quit traveling and stay home once he started having kids but his wife convinced him to continue his career. I especially like this comment he made,
"Ballroom dancing is all about the woman, according to Dovolani. He believes the man is meant to be the frame for the picture of beauty as presented by the woman."
I've not heard of this site so take this for what it's worth but....
DWTS EXCLUSIVE: Gosselin & Bodyguard Get A-List Perks; Dance Partner Dovolani Gets D-List Treatment
March 24, 2010 at 6:37 pm
When Kate Gosselin and partner Tony Dovolani take to the floor of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” he’s the one in charge.
But when the two of them fly back to her home turf in Pennsylvania, Kate takes the lead, sitting comfortably in the first class cabin, along with her bodyguard Steven Nield, while Tony has to fold up his dancer’s legs in the cramped quarters of a coach seat, a member of The Rat Pack has learned exclusively.
To rehearse with Kate, Tony has to make weekly trips to and from the Keystone State where ABC paid to build a dance studio in Kate’s basement.
And the inequities don’t stop there.
Rumor Rat’s source confirms that Kate’s unprecedented first-class DWTS deal also includes upscale accommodations for her and her hottie bodyguard at a high-dollar hotel when they’re in L.A.
So when Kate and Steve come to the coast to do the show, they stay at the swanky Beverly Wilshire Hotel, just off Rodeo Drive in the poshest part of the Beverly Hills shopping district. Her Executive Suite costs the network $400 a night. His Deluxe Room sets back the Mickey Mouse network budget another $275.
Meanwhile, when Tony’s back in Pennsylvania teaching the gawky Ms. Gosselin her dance steps, he’s stuck at something closer to a Motel 6, than the Beverly Wilshire. Cost: $129/night.
The network also picks up the tab for Gosselin childcare while mama’s hoofing it to and from Los Angeles.
By the way, The Rat’s source tells The Big Cheese that Kate gets the same paycheck for her appearances on the show as the other “stars.”
If there is an upside in this for all the Kate-haters out there, it is that based on Monday night’s performance, the Pennsylvania Octo-mom won’t make it past the first couple of elimination rounds.
http://rumorrat.com/2010/03/24/dwts-exclusive-gosselin-dance-partner-dovolani-gets-d-list-treatment/
The network is paying for the babysitters? Since rumors are now circulating that Kate's sister has been staying with the kids "for a while now", does that mean her sister is also getting paid? Yet, Aunt Jodi wasn't allowed to be paid for filming in her own home/being on the show.
Gawd you people are idiots. you believe every rumor out there.
Who cares where she stays or how much she gets paid.
Why do you care where she stays and how much she gets paid and who is watching her kids?
Can't you find a different hobby besides hating Kate Gosselin?
I guess the one good thing to come out of all your hate is she is making a fortune. I'm sure for that she thanks you.
Maybe I was wrong....continue hating...she needs the money. Good Job!!
Anonymous @ 4:13
I'm just curious, why do you care that we care?
And don't say it's because you're defending Kate because she doesn't need you. She's got TLC, ABC, her boy Stevie and the list goes on. She's already got the power.
So, why are you here attacking our position instead of defending yours. It makes no sense to me.
Tony has now disabled the map feature of his twittering, so we can't tell where he is when he tweets. Wonder whose idea that was.
Here are some photos of Tony and his wife. For those interested
