I think the photographer followed the kids to Jon's apartment and figured he'd stay around and hope to get his pictures. Odd that Kate is missing in action but get ready for a big explanation probably next week. I heard that Tiger Woods mistress #1 has been fired by Donald Trump, so possibly Kate will substitute. The children do seem to be having a normal outing and swim with their father and look happy.

Snark, the answer to your question is NAIS, which stands for National Animal Identification System. As I was typing this I realized how NAIS is going to impact Kate Gosselin's life because she now has chickens on her property! :)
After the last case of mad cow disease other countries got nervous about buying USA beef. So the USDA now wants every single animal in the USA to be identified and tagged. All animal movements will be tracked, logged and reported to the government, i.e., if you take your horse to the vet you must let the USDA know about it (by paying a small fee!) because it might be exposed to another horse!
Something to think about: since a horse is not considered food, why does the government need to know when and where I take my horse each and every time it leaves my property?
Whereas I agree that there is a benefit of this program to the big cattle operations, and they get to do one number for a large herd, it is going to impact the small rancher/farmer. See, small farmers and PET owners will have to tag and track every single animal. This program is NOT cost effective per animal so it will put many farmers out of business due to the costs involved.
There are NO exceptions - so the guy who sold Kate her organic cow will be required to pay the fees and file all the paper work on all his animals. Even PET owners - horse, llama, chickens, etc. - will be required to participate in NAIS.
So people like me who raise their own meat and have pets - and now that Kate has chickens on her property - we both will have to register our homes as ‘farm premises’ and obtain a Premise ID, tag all our animals and submit all the paperwork and fees to the USDA!
Get this: the USDA slipped this plan in the back door without any legislation. This is going to be a very expensive program to implement and guess who is going to pay for it in higher food prices ... YOU!

It never ceases me the massive amount of regulations this government imposes on people just trying to live. Government is way too big and bloated. And yet things that should be regulated somehow manage to squeak on through no one says a word. Oh wait that's because if a state has a conflict of interest in something (like letting a lovely family in their great state be filmed and shown to millions everywhere) everyone looks away.

The first thing that struck me about these photos is that the children look like children playing, having fun. They look relaxed, stress free. Their body language speaks volumes. With Kate they look guarded, tense and way too serious. In these pics they look so bright, like they are walking in a light cheery place, with Kate they always look like they have a dark cloud over their heads.
A seriously random observation...in the bottom pic, the little girl next to Jon (either Alexis or Leah, but I can't quite tell) has some grass blocking her hair making it look like she has a shoulder length hairstyle. I think she looks so cute like that! Maddy & Cara have always looked cute with shoulder length hair when it's been that short, too.

I'm not into blogging much but I still come here for my Gosselin news. I refuse to give any clicks to Radar or any other tabloid outlet.

Just a second, Hypocrite. Mary made a comment on Ellen's bikini. No more, no less. There was no subjective analysis...no "thinking" to pass on to impressionable young girls. Kids seen walking through a meadow and stream with Jon and Ellen and then taking a swim. Just two weeks ago these kids spent their weekend walking around NY in 100 degree heat with Kate and the TLC camera crew Compare and contrast these experiences.
A side note: Ellen l Whooks great in her bikini. It is not too brief and she is young enough to wear one.
Ellen looks beautiful in her bikini; she has a lovely, healthy natural looking body. And I'll say it: she looks much better than the manly, carved up, freakishly shaped Kate. But what is most lovely about her is the real smile on her face, and that of the kids' playing with her. She isn't looking out of the corner of her eye looking for a paparazzo. She appears to enjoy those children more than their own mother does.

The criticism with K8 is that she is CONSTANTLY putting the not-a-boob-job boobs (that her kids paid for) on sickening display. She dresses and acts like a tramp.
Ellen is wearing a bikini that actually fits - she looks completely appropriate.
That said, I wish we were not seeing these pictures at all, as it just shows the kids are still show ponies, intentional or not.
Chris could have easily been camped at the house as usual, saw Jon pull up, and then followed him over to his apartment with the kids. Then he could have taken his photos there and followed them to the park. It's called a caravan. Jon didn't have to tip him off and he could not do a darn thing about it as it's a public road.
But we're supposed to believe Chris followed Kate to the Lancaster train station, then bought a ticket and followed her onto the train, then followed their limo all the way to the hotel, then waited outside the hotel then followed the limo to the ferry, then followed them onto the ferry and got all set up at the Statue of Liberty to get those pics?? Yeah right. Chris was invited.
That said, Jon is just as guilty as Kate for letting the kids be filmed.

And now a break from the serious. Rumor has it that an inebriated Jon and an inebriated friend of his snuck behind the Gosselin home to play a prank under cover of darkness. Giggling like the drunken fools they were, they proceeded to release about half of Kate's chickens into the neighbor's property before Kate realized there was a fox in the henhouse and called the police. After the police arrived Kate decided not to press charges. It is not known if she dropped them because she realized it was Jon behind the chickens flying the coop. Questions that remain include whether or not Jon gave some consideration to how the kids would feel if their new pet chickens disappeared or were hurt or killed by real foxes, or how many more times the Lower Heidelburg police department will be willing to waste its time on residents who haven't contributed much to the neighborhood other than traffic jams and embarrassing tabloid covers.
Went past Kate's house this weekend....absolutely no sign of anybody around. No paps, nothing. The trees have been strategically placed so that you cannot see the kids at all playing in the parking area by the garage. I think it will be difficult for the paps to photograph the kids, but I'm sure Kate will find a way to be sure they get a picture of her.

I think everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. But please don't pretend that we are not now five years later from when many of us first were introduced to the selfish shrew child exploiter that is Kate Gosselin. Most if not ALL of us spent about two years giving her the benefit of the doubt, some even gave her three, and a few even fours years, before joining the ranks of those saying what this woman is doing is sick and twisted and just plain wrong. She has lost the right to be given the benefit of the doubt. I think it's obvious why, it's all been chronicled here day after day. The bottom line is she will sell everything that is most sacred about her kids to the highest bidder so that she can live the celebrity lifestyle she once used to only wish for. For some reason a very few people left out there take this very personally, likely because they identify with certain traits in Kate. While I find that disturbing that these women would put concern for Kate, who is a big girl and can take care of herself, over concern for eight little kids who cannot stand up for themselves, that is their right to have that opinion as long as they are not exploiting their kids to make it.
Kate has been criticized all over the net, TV, magazines. Everyone has her number. These people didn't just pop up one day and decide let's see who can I hate on today? Bin Laden, Pol Pot? Eh, how about Kate Gosselin? Come off it, this was a very slow process and Kate is responsible for the many bad choices she has made that has caused so many of us to have HAD IT with her.
Ellen absolutely gets the benefit of the doubt right now. I think she's great for the kids and she hasn't done a single thing to raise a red flag for me. If and when she makes repeated bad choices on the order of Kate, maybe we'll start snarking on her. Jon is hanging by a thread, I think it's disgusting he's just taken the hush money and gone on his way, but we cannot know what kind of threats TLC made when they negotiated this sick little arrangement behind closed doors. Maybe they promised him they would see to it he never works again and will have to beg for food in a homeless shelter, I wouldn't put anything past that disgusting child exploitation network.
Bottom line, Kate lost her chances. Her many, many chances. It's her fault, so go blame her.
I would donate the buck fifty I've earned from this blog to the Gosselin kids if I could be assured Kate wouldn't take her 85% cut.

Kate's fans are few and far between these days it seems. I would hazard a guess that most of them are on to this grifter and the "fans" are fading away. I'd also guess the fans arent seniors; rather, they appear to be juveniles (at least in their thinking).

You are right, we ALL started out as fans with open minds when it came to both Jon and Kate. Then at some point during the years we slowly began to see that something did not smell right in Gosselinland.
As Kate's ego started to inflate and she got more and more comfortable in belittling her husband on TV and in public, IMHO her own actions and words were shattering her image as a wife and mother to admire as far as I was concerned.
A couple of days ago I watched a couple of old episodes of J&K+8 and it was easy for me to remember why I used to truly enjoy the show. But it is now 2010 and a lot certainly has happened in Gosselinland. Suffice it to say that I see these 10 Gosselins from a whole different point of view so I was not entertained when I watched these shows.
Geez, if only we had all known then what we know now ...
My heart bleeds for the 8 children these days. No way, no how should their purpose in life be to entertain me as a viewer as they go about their daily lives. They are not actors, they are little children. There is no reason for me to need to know if they swam in their pool at home or over at their dad's apartment complex this past weekend and yet as I type this post I know the answer.
I hope and pray that Kate+8 will be taken off the air, either by Murt or TLC due to no viewers, by the end of 2010. Then and only then will Chris the pap need to find another "celebrity" to stalk and each one of these kids can go about their life without having cameras catching their every move.

I happen to believe the solution to the problem is not to turn our backs on it. Turning your backs on a situation is not how you fix it, look at history.
If people have a problem with posting the children's pictures, you might start by writing Kate and Jon. They are their kids and their responsibility to protect, which they have failed to do again and again and again. But aren't you just part of it if you are checking in here to see if there are any pictures of them? That's what's really hypocritical. Would it be ok to post pictures if no one ever said anything about anyone's bodies?
The solution to "freeing the Gosselin children" is to continue to post pictures of them and there whereabouts? Deleting posts are a sure sign that you are attempting to sway the conversation. Why? Are you afraid that the real truth about this blog will be revealed?
I’m not sure I’d compare the Gosselin saga with the events we read about in history books, wars, famine, plagues, depressions, etc.
Regarding the history of TV programs, however, I know that if the public does not watch a show, the ratings dictate that the show be taken off the air. And many times the actors in said shows revealed themselves to be talentless and they faded away.
Not so with Kate Gosselin. She touched such a nerve within the public that they had to create blogs to write about her…all day long…for years. That’s why she’s still around. The controversy is too much for the producers of the show to ignore. The continuing discussions and hashing and rehashing of everything she says and does has prompted TLC to pour money into the Gosselin “brand” (trashy and cheap) to keep the contention going.
Apparently there are a lot of people around who think that if Kate had been ignored, allowed to fade away due to the fact that she is a talentless shrew, she’d have continued on anyway instead of going the way of other no-talent wannabes. I happen to believe that she’d be long gone by now if there had been silence and continued dropping of the ratings, (which was happening during season 5). And when Jon stopped the filming of the children that would have been the perfect and natural time for Kate to fade away. The blogs that went searching and posting for things about Kate so they could keep her alive did just that – kept her alive. And she’s still alive and kicking.
She may be alive and kicking, but I doubt she will be as alive and kicking as long as she thinks she will - fame is fleeting, and when you have no talent, and a blatently narcissistic attitude about yourself, it will be even more fleeting. The drop in ratings was a huge sign of where she is heading, and TLC will kick her to the curb as soon as she is no longer financially viable for them. She and the ex are in for a rude shock sooner than later I think.

The truth about this blog? The truth about this blog is that the women/men who post here are intelligent, informed, and actually know what they are talking about, and they are fair...yes, fair. In the beginning, I also liked Kate when it was Kate and Jon and the kids and before she decided she was a star and before I watched enough to see her intrinsically nasty personality begin to unfold. TLC created a monster and try as they may to change her image, it's only momentary and only for filming purposes, because her inherent nature is that she is simply a bitch.

They chose to put themselves out there for the public - the children did not. Thanks so much for posting a picture of the kids with Ellen at the pool having a blast of fun. The last picture in my head was when one of the little girls was hiding behind the fence listening to her mother bitch and complain about a garden hose and how she wished she lived in a one room apartment...that was a shitty thing to say...then she tried to retrack it but a wittle to wait there Ms Gosselin. Ellen seems to enjoy the kids for the moment and I noticed no nannys or bodyguard..just the Gosselins pap Chris...can't seem to get rid of him..I think Kate adopted him.. = )

Exactly. Unless there is a personal vendetta against this blog or the administrator, it would seem that the troll(s) would not be selective in targeting this particular blog, but would seek out all of the media outlets, paps, internet sites, therefore making it their mission to shut down the real money-makers.

Where was the photographer standing to get that picture of Ellen and two kids at the pool? Was it a lifeguard's chair, or Jon's balcony or somebody else's balcony? Hmmmm. Unless he brought his own ladder to the pool, he had to get permission from somebody to stand up that high to take the picture. (Or she)
Maybe that particular picture was taken by Jon himself?

Well, duh! I think I've finally figured that out. The trolls have convinced me with their "challenges" to Admn to delete the blog. Never mind that they have showed no concrete proof that it is the blogs that just as guilty as the parents in exploiting the kids; never mind that they jump on here telling bloggers that those who post need a daily fix, never mind that they provoke, incite, and basically call boggers hypocrites.
Bloggers are the true exploiters of children. That's why bloggers have called attention to this travesty and I believe, are in part, for making a difference in that new child labor laws are to be enacted, thus insuring that ALL children on reality television are protected.
.... and, only US EXPLOITERS understand sarcasm.

But you are not just "speaking out against Kate", are you? This blog is full of pictures and references to the Gosselin children. For all that's holy, these are 6 and 9 year old children - innocent, sweet children. Quit using them as discussion fodder to get your "Kate-bashing" fix.

I repectfuuly disagree. If Kate wasn't putting her children out there on Kate Plus 8, with all of her glory, the children would have the basic rights to a childhood without cameras for all the world to see. Some of the bloggers feel the kids have a right to a private life, especially now that they are getting older and risk ridicule of the peers/classmates. We do not understand why both parents think filming is a good idea, especially when the twins are clearly resistant and want privacy.
And I believe no one will stop requesting that the kids NOI be filmed until the filming ceases. Period. These kids deserve a right to privacy in which they have not had a voice.
We will continue to blog until these kids get some peace, and a semblance of a normal life away from the cameras. Which their mother has chosen for them.
Kate's behavior, beyond her kids' well being, is another format.

Absolutely. Sometimes it's hard not to feed the trolls, but in this case, we need to find a way.
So...is there any word out there about whether filming has been done on Twist of Kate, and/or when we may expect its debut? Usually by now some word would have leaked out as to where and when the filming was done, what we can expect from the first episode, etc., but things are uncommonly quiet. Anyone heard anything?

If kate were really as hounded by the paps as she claims we would know where she is. However, her PR team didn't call them and gave Chris a much needed vaction which is why there's no info on where she and the twins are. This has always been true which is why we have never known when she's gone for surgery.
The first thing I thought of?: I wonder if, 15 seconds after the top pic was taken, Ellen stopped and screeched "if you get me wet, you're dead" (Kate, beach vacation, played with her children for the cameras and then threatened them after the shot was complete). Second, Ellen's belly button is in the right place. Just so the children know where it is SUPPOSED to be on an adult. 3rd, who snapped these? 4th - Paps supposedly drool all over the latest Kate polish change or orange paint spray, but seem to miss EVERYTHING else the woman does. Like leave town! Why is that?

This pap could have taken the pool photo from any number of places, including a staircase. The assumption it's from Jon's porch is just ridiculous. And since none of the kids are covering their eyes, it's probably more likely than not they had no idea they were being photographed.
As I recall there were pics of the kids on Jon's porch, which faced the street, not the pool.

Okay folks, I have been VERY liberal here allowing people to say whatever they wanted to say. I've allowed people to call me a child exploiter for even having this blog. I've allowed many violations of rule number 2 because I believe it's important to allow people to express themselves regarding whether people should watch this show and other very hotly contested issues regarding these child exploiters. But I'm getting a little tired of the personal attacks. The blog is getting a makeover because I want a change, nothing more, nothing less. Do you ever move your furniture around? Why do you do it? Admin - you have a lot more patience than I would have had this last few days. Trolls...anyone can clearly see that the Admin of this blog is not exploiting children. Not the Gosselin children nor any others. What ridiculous arguments I've just read to that end. The only people exploiting those children are their parents - FOR MONEY - FOR FAME - FOR SELF-GRATIFICATION. Period. Your arguments make no sense at all.

I happen to believe the solution to the problem is not to turn our backs on it. Turning your backs on a situation is not how you fix it, look at history.
If people have a problem with posting the children's pictures, you might start by writing Kate and Jon. They are their kids and their responsibility to protect, which they have failed to do again and again and again. But aren't you just part of it if you are checking in here to see if there are any pictures of them? That's what's really hypocritical. Would it be ok to post pictures if no one ever said anything about anyone's bodies?

You are right, we ALL started out as fans with open minds when it came to both Jon and Kate. Then at some point during the years we slowly began to see that something did not smell right in Gosselinland.
As Kate's ego started to inflate and she got more and more comfortable in belittling her husband on TV and in public, IMHO her own actions and words were shattering her image as a wife and mother to admire as far as I was concerned.
A couple of days ago I watched a couple of old episodes of J&K+8 and it was easy for me to remember why I used to truly enjoy the show. But it is now 2010 and a lot certainly has happened in Gosselinland. Suffice it to say that I see these 10 Gosselins from a whole different point of view so I was not entertained when I watched these shows.
Geez, if only we had all known then what we know now ...
My heart bleeds for the 8 children these days. No way, no how should their purpose in life be to entertain me as a viewer as they go about their daily lives. They are not actors, they are little children. There is no reason for me to need to know if they swam in their pool at home or over at their dad's apartment complex this past weekend and yet as I type this post I know the answer.
I hope and pray that Kate+8 will be taken off the air, either by Murt or TLC due to no viewers, by the end of 2010. Then and only then will Chris the pap need to find another "celebrity" to stalk and each one of these kids can go about their life without having cameras catching their every move.
Anyway, I agree that Ellen has done nothing to warrant any negative comments and I, too, give her the benefit of the doubt.
You might be interested to know that due to the troll activity here yesterday I ventured over to the dark side to see what the loverz were up to these days especially since Kate has been MIA. No, I was not surprised to read where the loverz were making all sorts of comments about Ellen, her body, bikini, even comparing Kate's body parts to Ellen's body parts and even one person commenting about waiting for a photo of a big toe ... and yet they have the nerve to come here to try to stir things up by calling us hypocrites?

I think everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. But please don't pretend that we are not now five years later from when many of us first were introduced to the selfish shrew child exploiter that is Kate Gosselin. Most if not ALL of us spent about two years giving her the benefit of the doubt, some even gave her three, and a few even fours years, before joining the ranks of those saying what this woman is doing is sick and twisted and just plain wrong. She has lost the right to be given the benefit of the doubt. I think it's obvious why, it's all been chronicled here day after day. The bottom line is she will sell everything that is most sacred about her kids to the highest bidder so that she can live the celebrity lifestyle she once used to only wish for. For some reason a very few people left out there take this very personally, likely because they identify with certain traits in Kate. While I find that disturbing that these women would put concern for Kate, who is a big girl and can take care of herself, over concern for eight little kids who cannot stand up for themselves, that is their right to have that opinion as long as they are not exploiting their kids to make it.
Kate has been criticized all over the net, TV, magazines. Everyone has her number. These people didn't just pop up one day and decide let's see who can I hate on today? Bin Laden, Pol Pot? Eh, how about Kate Gosselin? Come off it, this was a very slow process and Kate is responsible for the many bad choices she has made that has caused so many of us to have HAD IT with her.
Ellen absolutely gets the benefit of the doubt right now. I think she's great for the kids and she hasn't done a single thing to raise a red flag for me. If and when she makes repeated bad choices on the order of Kate, maybe we'll start snarking on her. Jon is hanging by a thread, I think it's disgusting he's just taken the hush money and gone on his way, but we cannot know what kind of threats TLC made when they negotiated this sick little arrangement behind closed doors. Maybe they promised him they would see to it he never works again and will have to beg for food in a homeless shelter, I wouldn't put anything past that disgusting child exploitation network.
Bottom line, Kate lost her chances. Her many, many chances. It's her fault, so go blame her.
Went past Kate's house this weekend....absolutely no sign of anybody around. No paps, nothing. The trees have been strategically placed so that you cannot see the kids at all playing in the parking area by the garage. I think it will be difficult for the paps to photograph the kids, but I'm sure Kate will find a way to be sure they get a picture of her.
Chris could have easily been camped at the house as usual, saw Jon pull up, and then followed him over to his apartment with the kids. Then he could have taken his photos there and followed them to the park. It's called a caravan. Jon didn't have to tip him off and he could not do a darn thing about it as it's a public road.
But we're supposed to believe Chris followed Kate to the Lancaster train station, then bought a ticket and followed her onto the train, then followed their limo all the way to the hotel, then waited outside the hotel then followed the limo to the ferry, then followed them onto the ferry and got all set up at the Statue of Liberty to get those pics?? Yeah right. Chris was invited.
That said, Jon is just as guilty as Kate for letting the kids be filmed.
Hmm, no the moral of the story is don't exploit your kids and you'll never have to worry about the standards of posters here.
Ellen looks beautiful in her bikini; she has a lovely, healthy natural looking body. And I'll say it: she looks much better than the manly, carved up, freakishly shaped Kate. But what is most lovely about her is the real smile on her face, and that of the kids' playing with her. She isn't looking out of the corner of her eye looking for a paparazzo. She appears to enjoy those children more than their own mother does.
Kids seen walking through a meadow and stream with Jon and Ellen and then taking a swim. Just two weeks ago these kids spent their weekend walking around NY in 100 degree heat with Kate and the TLC camera crew Compare and contrast these experiences.
A side note: Ellen l Whooks great in her bikini. It is not too brief and she is young enough to wear one.
What would there be to blog about? How about Kate's Extended European Vacation. Kate flirting with a gondolier in Venice, Kate climbing the Eiffel Tower, Kate chowing down on bratwurst in Munich, Kate finding love among the ancient Greek ruins, Kate yodeling in Austria, Kate having a melt-down because the Leaning Tower isn't straight. If it's all about her, there will be blogs that follow.

As for Kate being MIA, I would render a guess that she is having that Botox situation (that made her look like a lot like Faye Dunaway in her infamous Mommie Dearest roll just when she would go into some sort of rage against her children). Maybe she is having those nasty ole brows repaired?
A seriously random observation...in the bottom pic, the little girl next to Jon (either Alexis or Leah, but I can't quite tell) has some grass blocking her hair making it look like she has a shoulder length hairstyle. I think she looks so cute like that! Maddy & Cara have always looked cute with shoulder length hair when it's been that short, too.
The first thing that struck me about these photos is that the children look like children playing, having fun. They look relaxed, stress free. Their body language speaks volumes. With Kate they look guarded, tense and way too serious. In these pics they look so bright, like they are walking in a light cheery place, with Kate they always look like they have a dark cloud over their heads.
So, it's OK only if her looks are acceptable to some, Mary? I hope you don't pass that thinking on to any impressionable young girls.
And if Kate gets paid for the pap pics why wouldn't Jon and Ellen get paid? Why are they different?
It never ceases me the massive amount of regulations this government imposes on people just trying to live. Government is way too big and bloated. And yet things that should be regulated somehow manage to squeak on through no one says a word. Oh wait that's because if a state has a conflict of interest in something (like letting a lovely family in their great state be filmed and shown to millions everywhere) everyone looks away.

1. Do not use Anonymous. Pick a name (click Name/URL to type in a name) and stick to the same name.
2. Anonymous insider stories should be emailed to us directly (in confidence). They will not be posted here unless we can verify the validity, such as with photos. This is not to discourage legitimate insiders from speaking out, but to guard against all the fake stories out there.
3. No insulting other posters or picking fights, refusing to let things go and move on. Stop with the snotty comments--they will be rejected. Treat people here like how you would talk to the person you most respect in your life, it's just pleasant that way.
4. No trash talking other blogs/bloggers here.
