Kate Plus 8, minus Alexis and Collin at the bus stop

http://www.celebrity-gossip.net/kate-gosselin/kate-gosselin-bus-stop-brood-439813

It looks like Kate has accepted that we all now know, and is making no effort to try to cover-up what is no longer just a "rumor." Alexis and Collin were noticeably absent from the school bus stop today.

Take a look at Hannah (In the brown uggs. Leah is wearing pink ones.). In at least two photos, she appears to be hiding her face with a book. From the sun, or from Chris? If even Hannah, the one Kate says needs her more than most, is cowering away from the Paps, will that wake Kate up?

Kate looks very cold towards those children in those pictures. Talk about an ice princess, although she is no princess that's for sure. You can tell she is just doing this for a photo op. I'm sure under normal circumstances a nanny is the one who drops the kids off and picks them up.

By the way, does it look like Kate had another botox treatment?

I just can't get over even HANNAH now hiding her face. Kate's baby, the Golden child, the favored one. Even she now appears to be sick of this.

There is also a photo where it appears that Aaden is covering his face with his backpack.

Maybe it is time for Kate and Jon Gosselin to make a joint announcement to the media that their children are going through a difficult period right now and please respect their kids' privacy at this time. (Other celebrities have made a stand against the paparazzi about taking photos of their children. Nicole Richie recently won a restraining order against a paparazzo who was stalking her young daughter at school.)

It's time for Kate to make the responsible, wise choice for the Gosselin kids, which is to stop filming for their series and focus on the needs/privacy of her children.

TLC didn't like it when Jon sent a cease and desist letter, but they did respect his wishes and stopped filming (until some new agreement was made and the kids started filming Kate Plus 8).

Unfortunately, this rational thought isn't coming from the Gosselin parents.

Don't most parents look, I don't know, happy to greet their children off the school bus? In any pictures I have ever seen of Kate collect her kids, she never seems to smile or look vaguely interested.

And I wonder now what this situation is going to turn into? Its a sad state the whole family is in, and I don't pity them, nor do I envy them because they have only themselves to blame. As adults they should know what they got themselves into and be prepared to reep whatever the conequences good or bad will bring either after this supposed hearing, or in the future say...8, 10 or 12 years down the road from the choices they make. The choices you make today have the ability to impact your future for the good and the bad. So now I suppose all we do is wait it out? And pray and hope that things might still have the slimest chance of turning around. Maybe.

I hate to ask, not meaning to spark debate here, but is Hannah really all THAT favored? I mean, even if so, WHY?

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said... 6

We've seen many incidents were Kate treats Hannah differently or special, not the least of which was hand-feeding her her dinner to be sure she finished to get her cupcakes when none of the boys got handfed. Hannah was also often seen in Kate's arms way more than the others. Finally Kate did confirm there is something different about her relationship with Hanna in her own book Multiple Blessings. Someone with the book can pull the actual quote, she talks about how she bonded with Hannah first in the hospital....if I'm not mistaken she was the first one she was allowed to hold? And that she feels Hannah needs her more than the others.

Ok crazy.

=====================

Maybe from the rain? It was also drizzling and breezy today. No sun at pick-up time. That's probably why Aaden has his hood on!

I just have to laugh about the little "scam" that Chris the pap and Kate have going. There is no denying that Kate phones the paps to schedule photo-ops.

She looks like she is aging prematurely. No amount of back alley botox or eye cream can hide the effects of rage and control issues.

Kate's demeanor is strange. She keeps her head down and her neck bent. She's probably "acting" sad for Chris to show that the expulsions have really hurt her.

It's all BS fakery.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said... 9

Yes that's it, she was sheilding herself from the rain. That's why she took her jacket off and handed it to Kate! And that's why she held the book to the side of her head (on the side Chris was on) and not the top of her head, where rain would fall. And finally, that's why she didn't hold it over her head at the beginning of the photos (perhaps when she hadn't noticed Chris was there yet).

What happened to Kate's face? Seriously. I magnified the photo (the one with Hannah holding up the book) and it looks like a bruise from a slap on her left cheek close to the eye.
Anyone else see that?

That woman never looks like she gives a fig about her children. The only time you see a genuine smile with "warmth" on her ugly mug is when she is facing the cameras without her little money makers.

Let's hope that Jon is successful in his court bid this month. I think he is playing his cards close to his chest this time.

Hello! Long time lurker here, first time poster. Admin, I live in Berks and it was not raining here yesterday. It was 53 degrees on my way home from work yesterday and cloudy but no rain.

I was moved to post after reading the story yesterday about the little boy who didn't get a cupcake on his birthday because he didn't finish his meal. What kind of a parent does that???

IDModo said... 14

That mark on Kate's face looks like the one I get when I fall asleep with my glasses on. Wonder if Kate slept in the van (nanny driving) until she got to the pickup/drop-off spot.

The red plastic spoon is no longer in the door pocket on the passenger side. I guess Kate doesn't need it any longer "to help pass things back to the kids".

Those poor kids ar just puppets, doing what they are told "on pain of severeness".If Kate and TLC told them that they needed to paint their faces green, stuff bananas in their ears, and mug for the camera, they would all comply. It's time to stop this farce.

Vanessa said... 15

Yes, Jon and Kate should make a joint announcement and ask that the paps leave the kids alone at this time, but CAN they? Unlike Nicole Richie's child, these kids ARE the celebrities. Legally, can they get a restraining order? Again, another consequence of their poor parenting choices.

Back to the dogs for one second: Why hadn't the breeder found them another home after all this time? Was there something wrong with them? Maybe the dogs were volatile because of being in a house with 8 kids that used to scream & hit them with bats? I don't know. It just surprises me. Now the dogs are back apparently & this seems like the "big surprise" in Kate's stupid new special. Those poor dogs deserve a better home. Still pissed about it!!!

The kid with the book was covering her face as she was entering the van because she did not want Kates personal Pap to take her picture, simple as that. A few drops of rain had nothing to do with it and I don't believe it was rain. Everything appeared dry yesterday including the van. Nahhhhhhh kids just hate Chris, Kates Pap Man. Look at Mady's face when she sees that Chris is there again.

Hannah has been the golden child from day one. In almost every episode or picture, K8 is holding Hannah's hand or carrying her or holding her in her lap and is often given prefential treatment.

Damage Control coming up.
I witnessed Kate this past week after dropping the kiddos off at the bus stop (the day the pictures of Alexis and Colin and the came out) at *a grocery store* parking lot waiting on a certain person who pulled in behind her big blue van. She came up right behind me driving the big van (and may I add speeding as I was going speed limit on *that road*). I was heading to get gas and witnessed the whole thing. The grocery store parking lot was pretty empty at 7:00 am with the exception of the Pepsi Delivery Truck and she had parked off to the side of the store, not where most people would park if they were going shopping. I found it odd. She was on her cell phone in the lot and then a car pulled in behind her. No kids got out of the van.

I will bet you dollars to nickles that we are going to see pictures of her as a haggard 'do it all' mom in the next few days/weeks.
The martyr complex on the tv will be in full force as she brings the dogs back and plans a full and fun Halloween weekend (which would explain why she was so exhausted.)

*don't want to share the shopping places/etc.*
Just wanted to share my experience.

I'm not trying to be funny, but I wonder about the rumors about Kate and her drinking. I mean we have seen other photos of her looking hungover or what appear to be bruises. If she is an alcoholic, wouldn't it be typical to have bruises from stumbling around in a stupor? I guess it does make me wonder if those rumors are true about Kate liking her wine a little too much.

Anonymous said... 22

Kate claims she has no money...but the kids are wearing $100 Uggs!

Anonymous said... 23

Also when the family moved into the mansion Hannah is the only one of the tups (actually ALL the kids) who got her own room. Kate said that she gets migraines and needed her own space. Uh huh. Interestingly enough I always found Hannah to be the least interesting of all the kids. Mady has always been my fave and there was a period there (when they were about 3) where you couldn't convince me that Leah wasn't the cutest thing on two legs. And seriously I find all those kids to be lovable in their own ways. Kate is so blessed and she closes her eyes to those blessings.

Michelle said... 24

I did see that AuntieAnn, but it reminds me of those sleep marks you can get on your face when you just wake up. Take longer to fade away as you get older so maybe Kate just woke up from a nap before she got the kids.

On another subject, this link: http://www.startribune.com/local/stpaul/109071124.html?elr=KArks:DCiUHc3E7_V_nDaycUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aUoD3aPc:_2yc:a_ncyD_MDCiU depresses the hell out of me. IMO it just confirms that only one person can save those kids from Kate, and that's Jon. Based on this story, the courts sure won't.

A brief summary of the link - A woman convicted of child abuse in 1995 and 2001 was just arrested again for abusing her 7 year old. The girl went to school with a badly torn ear lobe and pinch marks on her arm. When the school nurse inquired, she advised her mother tore her ear lobe with a pliers because she took a piece of fruit her mother just bought. Her 13 year old sister confirmed they are regularly abused by the mother.

WTF does a woman convicted twice of child abuse have custody of her kids for. ARGH!

The courts won't save them, only Jon can. Hope he's ready to fight.

It would be great if they'd ask the media to leave the kids alone but unfortunately that would first require Kate to formally end her contract to have the kids filmed by TLC.

I don't think Aaden is covering his face with his backpack -- it looks like he's simply struggling to lift it up high.

Oh for goodness sakes. There's nothing remotely fancy or inappropriate about the outfit she's wearing. She's wearing worn jeans, some type of closed shoes, her hair is pulled back, etc. Do "real moms" only wear baggy sweats to pick up their kids?

Julia Roberts protects her kids from the photo ops. So do many other "stars." Oh wait, the Gosselin kids are the "stars." Big difference, isn't it? Just saw the family from Iowa with the 8 kids. So very grounded and lovely. Their kids are 13 and appear to be very normal. Parents work normal jobs. True, they received many gifts when the 7 were born, but the children do not financially support the family.

Children should not be brought into this world to provide the family with lavish lifestyles. The Gosselin story will not end well.

Why exactly does she still have nannies? Kindergarten teachers handle 20 five year olds all day, every day. Obviously, you'd need the occasional babysitter, but why are nannies needed when she's not traveling on book tours, DWTS, etc. anymore and the kids are now 10 and 6. Surely a mother can handle her own eight kids that age.

Marie, IIRC I think Hannah was the first baby she got to hold in the hospital, and the first one that came home from the NICU. She did say something to the effect that because of that, she bonded w/Hannah first (and apparently stronger).

PaMa said... 38

The odd thing isn't what she's wearing to drop her kids off to school, but the fact that she bothers to dress to the extreme at 7:00 in the morning. A "normal" mother would be too rushed getting her children ready and out the door and wouldn't have the time to spend on herself. She'd first get the kids off ... and then come home and dress for the day. But, again, nothing is normal about Kate, especially when she knows a cameraman will be lurking about.

Sport said... 39

She never looks happy when doing anything with her kids. I recall dropping off my kids at that age and how sad I was ... big hugs and kisses goodbye and wishing them a fun day at school.

In contrast is the new photo in your other thread of her talking to her hair stylist, talking about HERSELF - she is beaming and looks genuinely thrilled with a twinkle in her eye.

It is very sad that a show so obviously scripted and slanted to make the mother look good as a parent fails so miserably. The fact that it's edited to show this beast in the best possible light is amazing - since she always comes across as bossy, controlling and narcissistic. And this is a show SHE controls. I think we all cringe when thinking about what life those kids have when the cameras aren't rolling, and kHate isn't desperately trying to impress the cameras and viewers that she is this incredible mother.

I just can't get over what a horrible mother she is - what a horrible role model she is - what a horrible PERSON this woman is...

"Hippie Chick said... Back to the dogs for one second: Why hadn't the breeder found them another home after all this time?"

Hippiechick, the breeder issued a statement last year after the dogs were sent back, that HE would keep the dogs, until they were returned to the Gosselins. And even if the dogs never went back, he said he would never release to another family, he would keep them. I am pretty surprised he let them have the dogs back after a whole year. Just before they were sent back I saw a video on TMZ of the kids using their fists to hit the dogs, and were using a toy bat to hit them as well. At least 4 of the kids were involved. It was pretty upsetting to see that. I hope they are supervised at all times this time.

I wrote that post pretty early this morning...forgot to add that the car that was parked behind Kate was the same car that was following the van after the 20 min. trip to the Pumpkin Patch. You can make your own assumptions...however, soon after, we saw pics of Alexis and Colin and the dog, Kate picking up the kids, etc. I don't follow Kate, however she crosses paths with me in her van and on her shopping trips nearly twice a week...whether its when I get gas/groceries or I take my son to school.

There's some discussion that it's because the kids are also celebrities, not just a celebrity's children; therefore, that is the reason why the paparazzi take photos of them.

If Kate is so foolish enough to continue filming Kate Plus 8 amidst the turmoil surrounding her children, she should at the very least set parameters for the paparazzi (especially when more of her children are demonstrating their displeasure to the presence of paparazzi).

The school bus stop should be an absolute off-limits to the paparazzi since there are other innocent children whose faces end up in these shots (blurred or unblurred) whether they were trying to avoid being in the shot or not. And, no, there should be no special circumstance where the rest of the world should stop for the Gosselins - like waiting till they get off (which doesn't help, see current pics). It's been discussed before that since the stop is in a public parking lot that the school cannot prevent this, but have the Gosselins ever sent a stern, yet respectful letter asking the paparazzi to stop lurking at the school bus stop?

Jennifer Garner did something similar with her paparazzi. She knows they won't go away, but she set parameters for them.

From part of eonline's "Garner to Paparazzi: Stop Snapping or I’ll Snap":

The agencies were told that Garner is "unhappy on how close photographers are getting to her and her family in general, not only at Violet's school."

They were then notified that Jen would prefer to be shot with a longer lens and to "not flash her." Agencies were also told that once the photographs at the school stopped, that Garner will "warm up to the photographers again."

Some of the agencies contacted are taking no chances and have told their staff that if they photograph Garner near Violet's school, they will not even consider selling the photos.

We told you J.G. was a crafty girl. Totally smart play on her end.

Some of us might say that she can pursue legal action since it's at the school, not in a public parking lot. However, couldn't Kate say that by abiding with these parameters at the bus stop, the paparazzi could be invited to (or given the heads-up about) the next filming location - since it's a win-win for both parties and the kids will already be filming with cameras in their faces anyway.

Some might also say that Jennifer Garner has far more millions of dollars to pursue legal action than Kate Gosselin, but couldn't she ask TLC for legal help, especially when it comes to protecting their precious commodities from harm?

This post is probably falling on deaf ears, but if someone in the Gosselin camp lurks about, it's one perspective to take into consideration.

Kate looks totally pissed and disgusted. She must be annoyed that she had to get up out of bed early for the photo-opp that she knows is needed to make her look like a "mom." Her face looks like hell. I don't think it is because she just got out of bed. There have been many, many pictures of her for many months looking really bad - ruts in face, sagging jaw, puffy eyes, etc. Her face looks like that of a hard driving, hard drinking 50+ female. All the botox and lifts in the world will not help if you are going to drink a bottle of wine (or more) every night.

Actually, almost every set I've been in on was not a closed set. I just walked through the open set of a popular cable show which is filmed at a school. It's where I walk my dog and no one wanted to prevent people who live there from doing what they normally do. Another set I was on was at a mall, and another at a park. All open. All "sets."
