I was just looking at Kate's latest tweets. Didn't she say not too long ago that she has a sitter three times a week? Now it's four times a week? FOR WHAT? The kids are in school five days a week and don't come home until 4 p.m., homework, dinner, bed. Jon has them every other weekend. Why would she need a sitter at all? I could certainly understand it when they were toddlers, home every day and all over the house. It would have been difficult for one person to watch them, but come on...they are seven and ten and gone every day!
Did you see the tweet this morning where she lists all the things she has to do and one of them is get the "kids2 film". I thought the kids only ran in and out of the frame. They weren't working. I don't think she knows how to keep her lies straight.
Poor Khate ALL that help and she still can't get everything done! And filming too, poor thing she must be exhausted. She is going to need a mini va-cay to recoup. *snark*
Moose, my best guess would be to help get the kids up, washed, dressed, fed and out the door. It would be difficult for anyone to do that on their own with 8 count'em 8. Then to do it all in reverse when they get home. Beyond that, unless these sitters are doubling as maids, I can't imagine what they'd be doing all day.

If I were Kate, I wouldn't get too excited about having 11,000 followers. Re Kate's babysitter, I think what she said was "3 1/2" days (then later in an interview she did say 4, I think), 3 1/2 is half the week exactly, so I just assumed that Kate was playing semantics again to indicate her sitter is only 20-30 hours a week, instead of 40-56 hours a week like before. This could explain why she doesnt do her parking-lot prancing during school hours, because she has the house more to herself. Once the kids are in the house, so is the sitter, so Kate leaves.
And the cleaning one day a week? that might be the one day a week that a crew comes for heavier cleaning, but there is no doubt she has an individual at least part time managing the dust and mess on a nearly daily basis for a few hours.
Exactly, why does she need a sitter??? Any professional daycare (even a classroom) has a much higher ratio of child to adult! And these people are actually ENGAGED with the kids they are with. She NEVER did anything on her own, not EVER. Jon managed, how come the Mother of all Mothers can't?? Jon's gone, of course she needs a sitter! So true! Most of those accounts are fake, simply made to boost her numbers. The majority have never tweeted and are new accounts - it wouldn't surprise me, actually I'd place money on it!, that they were created by her over-the-top fans who have nothing better to do with their time.

They aren't babies! Seven year olds and ten year olds can't get themselves dressed and ready for school. It's not like they have to coordinate outfits -- it's khakis and white polo shirts! They can't put cereal into bowl or eat fruit or yogurt or whatever they have for breakfast? Packing a lunch might require some help, but can't the twins help with that? Next year they'll be able to eat in the dining commons, no packing lunch, one less thing for the sitter to do! I would believe that the "sitter" is also the house cleaner/laundry person, and all-around house maintenance person. Kate just doesn't want to own up to it.

Since the blog was down for a while, I went to TLC just to see if they were promoting Kate+8. There is absolutely no mention of her, her show, no pictures of them......nothing. But if you go under TV Shows, you can find them on the list. I went to Kate's blog. It brings you to that new Parentables website and Kate's stale old blog about the Sound of Music. What is that 6 months old now? Anyway, what I thought was funny was that right next to that very unflattering picture of Kate, above her blog, was an ad for a Discovery Channel Special entitled...DO YOU LIE?? FIND OUT WHY! How fitting to have that right next to her face!
Maybe someone should give her a twitter alert and have her tune in.

Showbiz Spy posted this a.m. that " recent reports" stated Kate was suing Jon for $125,000 back child support, despite the fact he has paid $80,000 this year. This could be just rumor but if it is true it makes me livid. Of course Jon can't pay $22,000 a month because he has a "normal" job, not in entertainment.

I think that it was Mady that had the solo and yes K8 did take them to an agent in the past. No real interest from the agent and K8 would never relinquish control. Let's face it (and I'm not saying this to be mean) there's nothing really special about any of the kids. Their looks are just average and the talent....well don't we all think that our kids are great? If not for being two sets of multiples on a reality show no one would give any of them a second glance.

LOL, Laura! All of mine were totally different. They couldn't and can't wait to get to school in the morning. Maybe they're just in a hurry to get away from me! They're out the door before I have everything together for my day! And...they are organized!
When my daughter was in Kindergarten, she'd get up at 6 a.m., dress herself, eat some Cheerios, and just sit and wait until I was ready to drive her there. Guess I'm lucky, huh?
Laurie, Yes, Mady's the musical one. There's some talent there. She plays violin and sings. She's no prodigy, but it may develop into something she could make her life's work, if she has the desire and the sticktoitiveness. She's apparently doing this on her own, too, since Kate said on the show that she wouldn't make the kids practice. I'm sure Jon encourages Mady, but he's the next thing to tone deaf, if his one attempt to sing on the show is any example.
Oh yaaaaay....*roll eyes* more filming. The gosselin kids have the saddest bday parties ever. The ridiculous, insulting CAs the parents must sign in order to be "allowed" to bring their kid to a filmed party couldn't help. The tups don't seem to interact much with their classmates and every party has just seemed so forced, so sad. Seven year old kindergarteners, 2 of whom couldn't behave appropriately enough to stay in school. So sad. Their mom is more interested in throwing an overblown party to show off to blow the Joneses out of the water. Great big fail. The best bday parties include something to distract the kids (bouncy house, whatever), plenty of finger food, and lots of chairs for the parents to talk to each other. The parents of the bday kid should be mingling with the parents and making sure the kids are entertained. Kate will be busy fixing her hair and makeup and freaking out about some nonissue so everyone is paying attention to her (in disbelief, I'd guess). If the party is at the Orphanage, I hope someone rubs pudding all over it. If it's in a public space, you know kate will be craning that pruny neck hoping and praying the pap she called decided to show up. And you just know that Jon won't be invited, even though he is the one person the kids would love to see most.

I would think that Jon had a party for the kids - a quiet get-together that the kids could enjoy without the cameras in their faces. The big meeting/therapy session w/Dr. Phil is the same one Jon described as being how to "protect the brand" (he wanted no part of it) and as more of this story comes out it's getting quite interesting.
Kate said she was upset about Jon's behavior and that the marriage was already over by this time, yet she was discussing with Phil and Robin "the best way to handle a divorce involving children while in the public eye"; ie: maintain the "brand". Interesting. Kate just verified what Jon said over a year ago about the Dr. Phil counseling session being about maintaining the "brand" was true. IIRC, Jon also said Dr. Phil wanted this meeting to be televised.

I admit that my kids have two celebrations, because we celebrate on their actual birthday by eating dinner at their favorite place and having a special dessert, then they have a birthday party with friends on the nearest weekend to their birthday. Sometimes they get 3 celebrations if their dad decides to do something, too.
The thing is, it's that way for ALL my kids' birthdays, not just one. And not even one of them is filmed for exploitation.

For the two older girls, I have to think that they are in the process of coming of age, if you know what I mean. (I want to be delicate and discrete here).
My relationship with my own mom at that age was pretty rocky. I was, after all (LOL) 'almost a woman' and I really felt I knew it all.
Naturally, the teenage certainty, fueled by hormones, that I was all-knowing just increased during my teenage years and mom and I were butting heads every single day.
It was a hard time that had lasting effects until she passed away in 2002. To this day I feel very conflicted about our relationship.
I assume that Kart's relationship with the twins behind the scenes is much more combative than we see on film. I applaud the girls for refusing to participate, i.e. the one on the couch with her arms folded, back turned to the camera and refusing to speak. I worry what punishment she receives for that natural and appropriate rebellion.
I also wonder if the girls know they can refuse to be filmed. However they do it, they DON'T have to participate. I wonder if they know they can retain an attorney on their own even at their age. I don't know how it would work (ADMIN, CAN YOU CHIME IN HERE IN GENERAL TERMS?) but certainly in their position I would just refuse to come out of my room.
I was such a badass that I ran away from home at age 10 because my mom kept serving me the stuffed green pepper I refused for dinner. We battled that for breakfast and dinner the next night, and breakfast the third day before I went home with a friend who hid me in her room.
Unknown to me, the base MPs were called for a runaway... my dad was mucho pissed when I surfaced. But!!! In my favor, the MP told my mom, in front of me, "maybe you should throw away the green pepper". Can you imagine the smug look on MY face. Yep, well, my dad got involved and I couldn't sit down for a few days as the old saying goes. Back in the day, 'the belt' was the answer to many a problem.
I haven't eaten green peppers in the 50 years since. LOL - showed her, didn't I?! LOL
I have to hope, and actually think, that the adults in the girls' lives know what is happening at home and are providing support in the ways that they can.
Jon seems to be very good at providing them the privacy they need and I applaud him for that. I also assume that Jon and Ellen provide a stable environment for the kids.
As much as we all see on television, and what we know must be on the cutting room floor, I can't but help believe that there is much, much, much more we don't see. That is what is scary when thinking about the safety and happiness of the kids.
I agree with many posters here that Kart tries to manipulate the public (stating the obvious, huh? :-)... and the more folks respond to her pathetic twits the more she feels validated.
I vacilate between wanting to comment and taking time off from commenting in protest.
It's a dilemma that the public hasn't had to deal with in the past, before reality TV came around.

Kate's twitting is all to get people to tune in. I read today that it is a typical ploy among celebs to twitter so that their followers will watch their shows. So please folks, unfollow Kate and let's see just how low those numbers will go.
When she tweeted that her kids were hungry so often, I was sorely tempted to tell her to try feeding them more than a few grapes, but I didn't.
Anyone notice something? She's back to oversharing in general and specifically back to sharing stuff about the kids. Whoever told her to knock it off, well, it's worn off and she's back to saying whatever she wants.
Can't wait until this twit's show is canceled.
Since the blog was down for a while, I went to TLC just to see if they were promoting Kate+8. There is absolutely no mention of her, her show, no pictures of them......nothing. But if you go under TV Shows, you can find them on the list. I went to Kate's blog. It brings you to that new Parentables website and Kate's stale old blog about the Sound of Music. What is that 6 months old now? Anyway, what I thought was funny was that right next to that very unflattering picture of Kate, above her blog, was an ad for a Discovery Channel Special entitled...DO YOU LIE?? FIND OUT WHY! How fitting to have that right next to her face!
Maybe someone should give her a twitter alert and have her tune in.
PS. I am not encouraging anyone to look at her old blog. Rumor is she gets paid for every click. :)
Just went back and clicked on all the other blogs on Parentables, so she wouldn't have more clicks! Phew!
Showbiz Spy posted this a.m. that " recent reports" stated Kate was suing Jon for $125,000 back child support, despite the fact he has paid $80,000 this year. This could be just rumor but if it is true it makes me livid. Of course Jon can't pay $22,000 a month because he has a "normal" job, not in entertainment.
I simply cannot stand this horrible and shameful Kate Gosselin. What in the heck would she expect from someone who does not make millions of dollars a year and is not exploiting his children?

It was wide spread blogger thing. Everyone except Twitter. What happen to can do Kate all by myself. Baby sitter and house cleaner, how we can BS.Now she also said that the show will not be on until june 6th not may 30th and not 10pm but 9pm. Kate must have thown a hissy fit. And what is this nonsense on her desk holding her hostage? Is Kate really that stupid, that she can not figure out her bills? I thought she was an expert on organizing? Kate is not too smart, nothing like giving away on tweeter how dumb you really are. I don't know about people here, but I can get my bills figured out in 10 min or less( I don't do any online banking or bill paying yet). Why does it take Kate hours? She has got to be the Queen of Drama Queens. Oh, and one of her tweets said she had 6 kids in car waiting for bus drop off. ( I take it to mean she was waiting for Mady & Cara. which also to mean that, the 2 that were expelled were with Kate, when she picked up the rest of the tups, waiting for the twins) I don't buy the BS that the 2 that were expelled are back at school, not this late in the term, school is almost over. Kate just wants it to look as if the 2 are back, after all they embarassed her.

Well, Kates blocked a majority of people on her twitter page. Now she's relegated to a handful of brown nosers and a bunch of people with multiple accounts. If I were Kate, I wouldn't get too excited about having 11,000 followers. Most of those people logged on to twitter to see what her latest lies were and most of those people are gone, just like most of her viewers.

Do the "haters" who tweet to Kate know that Kate can't see their tweets? The only time she would see them is if their tweet included the name of someone she hasn't blocked.

I think Kelly meant TLC has blocked a majority of people on Kate's twitter page. lol Kate has done nothing to manage that twitter account on her own and tweets TLC asking them to block people rather than tweeting support herself. She and the sheeple act like grade-school tattletales. Kate's a grown-azz woman yet she runs like a whining child to ask someone else to do things for her.
IDK whether the blocked haterz know that she can't see their tweets or that it even matters to them since many of them just like to engage with the sheeple anyway. I have noticed that most do include the sheeple's name along with Kate's in their tweets which means that Kate does see them plus I know there's no way TLC would block them because who would engage with Kate if they were gone.
If a tweeter hater tweets to Kate and tweeter sheeple who have tweeter hater blocked, who sees tweet? Just the people who do not have tweeter hater blocked?

I'd like to see Jon haul her a-- back into court re: oversharing about the kids and their whereabouts on Twitter. Maybe get a fine system put in place where his monthly child support decreased by $500 or even $1,000 each time she does it. She'd be paying him in no time:)
Also, did everyone catch the twitter about how well Cara did with her vocal solo in the spring musical at school? She's taken the twins to a modeling agent in the past . . . . . .
I think that it was Mady that had the solo and yes K8 did take them to an agent in the past. No real interest from the agent and K8 would never relinquish control. Let's face it (and I'm not saying this to be mean) there's nothing really special about any of the kids. Their looks are just average and the talent....well don't we all think that our kids are great? If not for being two sets of multiples on a reality show no one would give any of them a second glance.
What's the date today? I believe this is the first time I've ever come close to defending Kate!

LOL, Laura! All of mine were totally different. They couldn't and can't wait to get to school in the morning. Maybe they're just in a hurry to get away from me! They're out the door before I have everything together for my day! And...they are organized!
When my daughter was in Kindergarten, she'd get up at 6 a.m., dress herself, eat some Cheerios, and just sit and wait until I was ready to drive her there. Guess I'm lucky, huh?
Laurie, Yes, Mady's the musical one. There's some talent there. She plays violin and sings. She's no prodigy, but it may develop into something she could make her life's work, if she has the desire and the sticktoitiveness. She's apparently doing this on her own, too, since Kate said on the show that she wouldn't make the kids practice. I'm sure Jon encourages Mady, but he's the next thing to tone deaf, if his one attempt to sing on the show is any example.
Oh yaaaaay....*roll eyes* more filming. The gosselin kids have the saddest bday parties ever. The ridiculous, insulting CAs the parents must sign in order to be "allowed" to bring their kid to a filmed party couldn't help. The tups don't seem to interact much with their classmates and every party has just seemed so forced, so sad. Seven year old kindergarteners, 2 of whom couldn't behave appropriately enough to stay in school. So sad. Their mom is more interested in throwing an overblown party to show off to blow the Joneses out of the water. Great big fail. The best bday parties include something to distract the kids (bouncy house, whatever), plenty of finger food, and lots of chairs for the parents to talk to each other. The parents of the bday kid should be mingling with the parents and making sure the kids are entertained. Kate will be busy fixing her hair and makeup and freaking out about some nonissue so everyone is paying attention to her (in disbelief, I'd guess). If the party is at the Orphanage, I hope someone rubs pudding all over it. If it's in a public space, you know kate will be craning that pruny neck hoping and praying the pap she called decided to show up. And you just know that Jon won't be invited, even though he is the one person the kids would love to see most.

I would think that Jon had a party for the kids - a quiet get-together that the kids could enjoy without the cameras in their faces. Why would he be invited to the TLC party - it was filmed, and he's not on the show? I doubt that they would go so far as to invite him to the party and then blur out his face!
Moose, the twins are likely no problem, but based upon my own experience, my 7 & 9-year old boys would sit and stare into space all morning if I didn't get them moving. They need to be pushed every step of the way. If the G tups were any different I'd be surprised.

Did you see the tweet this morning where she lists all the things she has to do and one of them is get the "kids2 film". I thought the kids only ran in and out of the frame. They weren't working. I don't think she knows how to keep her lies straight.

The big meeting/therapy session w/Dr. Phil is the same one Jon described as being how to "protect the brand" (he wanted no part of it) and as more of this story comes out it's getting quite interesting.
Kate said she was upset about Jon's behavior and that the marriage was already over by this time, yet she was discussing with Phil and Robin "the best way to handle a divorce involving children while in the public eye"; ie: maintain the "brand". Interesting. Kate just verified what Jon said over a year ago about the Dr. Phil counseling session being about maintaining the "brand" was true. IIRC, Jon also said Dr. Phil wanted this meeting to be televised.
Someone told Dr. Lafair she'd be paid to go to LA and since Jon wasn't mentioned in this suit, who in the heck does Kate think told LaFair she was going to be paid?!? Was the Dr. Phil Show involved in this part of it and was Dr. LaFair supposed to appear w/Jon?

I LOVE Absolutely Fabulous! My husband & I watched that show in the 90's, before it was cool, thank you very much! :) We taped every show & had AbFab marathons with our friends. Now that it's on Logo & we have a kid, we are like WHAT? How can she treat her daughter, Saffron, like that? It is still a kick ass show though. So so funny!!

I don't think the 2nd b-day party is tonight, I think it will be this weekend. The "friend" party that will be filmed per her twitter.
I admit that my kids have two celebrations, because we celebrate on their actual birthday by eating dinner at their favorite place and having a special dessert, then they have a birthday party with friends on the nearest weekend to their birthday. Sometimes they get 3 celebrations if their dad decides to do something, too.
The thing is, it's that way for ALL my kids' birthdays, not just one. And not even one of them is filmed for exploitation.
Glad to see that nice article about Jon on Hollybaby, hope the show gets cancelled soon before more damage is done to the kids by that nasty witch.

As for the therapist bill, I sort of understood from blogs and comments that Jon had paid his half and she had not paid hers......
The divorce would have listed, for example, "therapy bill, $20,000" - Kate to pay$10K and Jon to pay $10K.

For the two older girls, I have to think that they are in the process of coming of age, if you know what I mean. (I want to be delicate and discrete here).
My relationship with my own mom at that age was pretty rocky. I was, after all (LOL) 'almost a woman' and I really felt I knew it all.
Naturally, the teenage certainty, fueled by hormones, that I was all-knowing just increased during my teenage years and mom and I were butting heads every single day.
It was a hard time that had lasting effects until she passed away in 2002. To this day I feel very conflicted about our relationship.
I assume that Kart's relationship with the twins behind the scenes is much more combative than we see on film. I applaud the girls for refusing to participate, i.e. the one on the couch with her arms folded, back turned to the camera and refusing to speak. I worry what punishment she receives for that natural and appropriate rebellion.
I also wonder if the girls know they can refuse to be filmed. However they do it, they DON'T have to participate. I wonder if they know they can retain an attorney on their own even at their age. I don't know how it would work (ADMIN, CAN YOU CHIME IN HERE IN GENERAL TERMS?) but certainly in their position I would just refuse to come out of my room.
I was such a badass that I ran away from home at age 10 because my mom kept serving me the stuffed green pepper I refused for dinner. We battled that for breakfast and dinner the next night, and breakfast the third day before I went home with a friend who hid me in her room.
Unknown to me, the base MPs were called for a runaway... my dad was mucho pissed when I surfaced. But!!! In my favor, the MP told my mom, in front of me, "maybe you should throw away the green pepper". Can you imagine the smug look on MY face. Yep, well, my dad got involved and I couldn't sit down for a few days as the old saying goes. Back in the day, 'the belt' was the answer to many a problem.
I haven't eaten green peppers in the 50 years since. LOL - showed her, didn't I?! LOL
I have to hope, and actually think, that the adults in the girls' lives know what is happening at home and are providing support in the ways that they can.
Jon seems to be very good at providing them the privacy they need and I applaud him for that. I also assume that Jon and Ellen provide a stable environment for the kids.
As much as we all see on television, and what we know must be on the cutting room floor, I can't but help believe that there is much, much, much more we don't see. That is what is scary when thinking about the safety and happiness of the kids.
I agree with many posters here that Kart tries to manipulate the public (stating the obvious, huh? :-)... and the more folks respond to her pathetic twits the more she feels validated.
I vacilate between wanting to comment and taking time off from commenting in protest.
It's a dilemma that the public hasn't had to deal with in the past, before reality TV came around.
What to do, what to think......

As usual, Kate is "plastic/cellophane/see-through" in her sugar-sweet (barf) tweeting. So, you had to go to Court this morning, so that served you well. Kate, you really depend on the stupid sheeple for your fan base, don't you, and not someone who can put 2 + 2 together. And Jon would have been crucified for tweeting about a Court date. Gawd, I despise this woman.
