I wonder if someone from the network bothered to tell George Lopez his show was canceled or if he had to find it out on the news like my narcissist.
Just as a point of interest, it may or may not be comparable, but his show started out doing about 1 million. When it dropped to just over half a million, they canceled it.
I hope we don't have to wait for Kate's ratings to drop that low before it's gone. It's hard to know sometimes what ratings a network is looking for before it's canceled.
You know I was thinking, don't most celebs tweet more often when they are out on the road doing something? Seems to me that's what sparks a lot of interesting tweets, celebs checking in from various places they are or things they are doing.
I only follow a few celebs, Tony D. is one, and he's always tweeting from the road.
With Kate she goes dead silent when she's on the road. A time when what she is doing actually might be mildly interesting, and she abandons twitter! She is way more likely to twitter when she's doing absolutely nothing at home in bed.
By the way, her tweeting habits are just proof that twitter has absolutely nothing to do with any desire on her part to provide the fans an interesting look into her day-to-day life, but rather, just a way to try to suck more attention toward herself. Twitter is for her, not anybody else. She said herself, she can't live without it.

When has she ever told the truth? I think she'd live without it in a heartbeat. She only needs it now because of the show and to let the sheeple know that she's still relevent. Once the show is gone, she'll wipe out that account so fast that the sheeple's wool will fly across the barnyard.
I wonder why Kate didn't get twitter when she was on Dancing with the Stars. It seem most celebrities get one for the show if they don't already have one. Jennifer Grey wasn't working much, but she got one. Maybe it was because Kate was more popular then, and she was busier. Now she's not so popular, not so busy,and seems desperate to keep the show going.
I see various comments on the Facebook TLC Kate plus 8 page that show interest in what happened to Ashley. I'm afraid TLC's ploy for ratings might work.
Jr. High gossip. That's all this next show's promos are. "OMG - did you hear what happened to Ashley?"
And the people who will tune in are the same people who rubberneck on the freeway. One quick
glance at the carnage and then they're back on their merry way, with maybe a "tut-tut. Wasn't that a shame?"
It's like reading the rags while waiting in line at the store. You don't care enough to buy it but your curiosity is piqued enough to check it out before it's your turn at the register.

All I can say is yuck, yuck and yuck. I'm not sure how old the other two women are, but Kate is well on her way to looking just like them. What an aspiration.
I noticed that Kate's 'girls' are looking a mite saggy in that strapless number she's wearing. I predict that a new "good bra" is in her future.

I think the shows are going to get more and more dramatic. TLC knows what draws the viewers now and it's not the kids. Kate's meltdowns and rude behavior are what the viewers want to see. She's like a trainwreck. I look for the ratings to rise significantly when the RV trip airs. There's so much buzz about it already. What makes me sick is this is all done at the kids expense. You can just see the sadness and fear in their eyes when Kate goes into one of her meltdowns. That preview was genius and TLC accomplished just what they wanted to. We all fell right into their trap. Kate will stop at nothing to keep herself in the spotlight and the money rolling in.
My theory on the money Kate (the kids) has earned is she is socking it all away for herself not the kids. She is setting herself up so she will never have to worry about money again in her life. The kids savings our secondary and my guess is only the 15% is what is being put aside for them. My thoughts are she is much more concerned about her future than her childrens.
I'll bet that Kate sure misses Meredith on the Today Show. Ann Curry wasn't fawning all over her. I watched a clip last night and when Kate was going on about her best friend going around the country to find her men the only response she got from Ann was a couple of hmmms. When Kate made that statement about Jamie it made me think that their relationship is still in tact. She was definitely pitching a show when she said this. She's so desperate it's painful to watch.

You are right, she always lies. Normally, I would agree with you, but now, I am thinking that this is such an instant gratification for her. She can come on anytime and some of her uber fans WILL be there, and fawn all over HER. Nothing to do with the kids, SHE gets to hear how wonderful SHE is, what a super mom SHE is, such an inspiration SHE is, on and on and on. I am really beginning to wonder if this will be a permanent thing for her. Or semi-permanent. After the show is canceled she WILL need constant reassurance of how great SHE is! I have never posted before, but I find this interesting from hollybaby that a 19 year old is smarter than Kate.

If I'm not mistaken, a fan asked her to be a guest at a scrapbooking convention or meeting, and Kate said that she was busy the entire month getting the kids ready for school.
I notice that the sheeple in Hershey has been tweeting up a storm, telling Kate she (Kate) sounds depressed and they should hang out together since Jon has the kids this weekend. That one has stalker written all over it.
The kids go back to school August 25.

mom2two said...I applaud Maci if she did say this. She is making enough to save or invest to help her out in the future with the boy. I don't know if she is going to school now, but she sure should be, while the money is coming in. Then she can go to work. It would be hard to do both at the same time. So,yes, I think she should take her son off the TV, way before he does go to school. The public is fickle, if they are not on TV, people DO tend to "forget". (Even tho Kate thinks otherwise)
I'm not sure what to think about the school and their roll in the G kid's problems. I don't think they should be whipped with a wet noodle for "letting" the kids miss school to go work in Oz because the courts let them go even though it was Jon's time with them.
If there is one insider-ish meeting I'd like to be in, it would be with the teachers, psychologists, and school admin after they have watched all 7 seasons of the abuse/exploitation and after last years problems. Plus every teacher Mady and Cara had there.
I wonder if their teachers watch the show?
I finally figured out Kate-speak....when Dr. Glassman was giving her the tummy tuck and she asked for the boob job he told her to "get a good bra". After her boob job (which we all know she had) she said she "got a good bra" - this was her little dig at Dr. Glassman.

This fan is really spooky to me. She seems so childlike at times. I am not sure, but Kate may have blocked her. She tweeted to Kate a few weeks back that Kate should 'dress better" and she wished she were Kate's stylist. LOLOL NOT a good thing to say to Ms. Know it all.

I was "just curious" so I watched that clip for the first time. The difference between Ann and Kate is SO striking, one a professional, well-educated, well dressed, sophisticated woman, the other...Kate! What an asinine story, Kate sending her friend around the country to collect men she can date. Would that be like a 52-state blitz of interviewing single men at the local Ramada Inns? I can only imagine what was running through Ann's mind. I find it demeaning that someone like Ann Curry had to spend one minute with Kate.

That website didn't even name who they were. The MOTHER told her kids about it and then showed them the site. Which was horrible. The kids would have never known if not for that. The husband did confess it was his site, in court. The damage TO the kids was done by the Mother. This is so different than Kate and Jon. She NAMES him and it is NO secret who she is talking about, on national tv no less. THAT is what gets me. Not sure why the court won't muzzle this idiot. I wonder if Jon has even asked them to shut her up. It can be so harmful to the kids. It really makes me sick.
Starz22: Do you know why the haters know stuff about Kate, cause Kate is transparent and predicable. Kate gives out enough info on herself(she can't remember what she has said, half the time)that a person does not need to follow her or watch her show, read her book, to know who, what, when & where she is doing, or not doing. Like I've said before, you have to read between the lines with Kate, her tweets, interviews, and even her books, to figure out what she is doing or saying. And also cause most of the so call haters have probably know or ran into someone just like her. They are wise to her, just as we here are wise to her. So it would have been better for the children to find out from their peers and others in the community that their father had this website? Word spreads like wildfire. Since we don't know the particulars on this, it's difficult to make a judgment. Perhaps the mother told the kids so that they didn't hear it from someone else. Just because he didn't name her on the website, the fact is that his photo was there. He was identified. Unless he's a mormon, he only had one wife. It was obvious who he was smearing, and the court recognized that.
I think that Jon is just letting her go on, knowing that she's digging her own hole. Why make a stink about it? Calling attention to it is only going to affect the kids. She'll get tired of it after awhile when she realizes that he's not firing back at her.
Am I missing something here? Do we really know for sure that Khate's in Florida grifting dresses?

Okay, so WHO is this woman and WHERE did she get her info that Khate was at the store down in Florida?? And, WHERE did she get the photo??
Something just is not adding up here! I checked her Twitter and she's a nursing student in Michigan, engaged to be married next year. I see NO connection to that store in any of her tweets that I looked at.
So, HOW did she hear that Khate was at the store? Notice how she tweeted it and then tweeted US Weekly and E News, like she's pimping for Khate to get press. Then this morning, she tweeted a sort of ad for that store.
So, what's the deal? As of now, I'm not buying it at all. It just doesn't add up. We don't even know if that's a recent photo. When the tups' birthday episode was on, Khate tweeted something about the dress that she wore during the episode. I remember that some of us checked out the store back then. I don't watch the episodes, but I'm wondering if the dress that Khate is wearing in the photo is the same one she wore on that episode and this photo is an old one from back when she got the dress.
Anyway, am I the only one thinking something is up here?

So Katie is muuuuch to busy to pop over to Hershey to meet up with a few fans, preparing the kids for school is just too time consuming. However, she is able to take a *couple days* from the drudgery of school preparation to fly to Miami for free cougar wear. She does have time for that. So I can't decide, is Kate dead quiet on twatter because she actually cares that she lied to the sheeple and didn't want to get caught, or as Admin said, she's getting attention elsewhere and doesn't need their adoration at the moment?

I don't agree with this. Kate is who she is because of the children. She wants to be identified with them. They are her meal ticket. She constantly refers to her eight, count 'em, eight kids. You even commented, "But Kate always manages to drag the kids in, cause she knows that without them she is NOTHING!"
She wants to be blond and over-tanned because she thinks that is the "look" that will land her a position in celebrity society and she thinks of herself as a perpetual 20-something in that society. It has nothing to do with the children being of Asian descent.

I think that the scrapbooking convention was in Kansas, or someplace in the Midwest. It is that fan who invited her to attend, but Kate replied that she's too busy with school preparations.

Nobody likes: Kate looks just as old as those other women. And I would put them in the 50-60 range. Their skin looks over tan, like leather, hair over processed like straw, the clothes are something I see on older women, like around 50-70 range, not 30 something. I'm 52, and I would not be caught dead, much alive in any of those clothes, they are ugly and hideous, the material is ugly, for a scarf, curtain and possibly drapes, table cloth, ok, not a dress. LOLOLOLOL We all know Kate has no taste in clothes. Most of Florida has seniors living there, and they do dress that way. In the Midwest, I do not see that much of that kind of material. Even the young people don't wear ugly dresses like that. That is a Florida thing. Each region has it's dress code(if you like). I do not see women in LA dress that way, or NYC or Midwest. This so-call designer I have never heard of. Probably cause they only cater to the people in Florida mostly and tourist.

That last episode of them Movie makers, had poor ratings, so hopefully, the people who have been tuning in are getting the message, about the kids, and are tuning out. If they do a once a year up-date, that is fine with me. Like a Xmas special.

I lived at the beach in Fla. for 25 yrs.until recently. Nobody dresses like that, except an occassional tourist. These type dresses are on the racks at gift shops and are mostly used as cover-ups.
The dresses remind me of Lilly Pulitzer, and to be fair that’s the style in Palm Beach. I have a few dresses from Lilly’s in KOP.
Why these ladies would want Kate to represent their clothing is beyond me. Kate show is on the brink of cancellation, she has ruined every chance she’s had to work on TV in another venue, and I doubt very much she’ll fit in with the Palm Beach social scene.
I’ve always wondered why Kate stayed in PA, especially that part. I get the impression she wants to be like cast of women on RH of (insert city). But she’s not and just makes herself look ridicules. I have family where she lives and being from Philly the culture is worlds apart. Why didn’t choose to live closer to NYC, LA, or even The Main Line when she had the chance.

Of course it would have not been better for the kids to find out any other way. Not sure where you got that idea from my post. No one knew this site was about them, even according to the mom. He told her about the site. My point was she could have asked the judge to get rid of it, as she did in court. WITHOUT involving the kids. Even the judge reprimanded her for involving the kids, since no one knew it was her she was talking about. He certainly was wrong with the site and the sorry things he said about her.
The damage that can happen to 8 when their parents talk badly about them in private or public can be enormous. It can be done discreetly through the courts. No need for a big stink. I would hate for these kids to hear all these snide remarks she makes or read about them if they haven't already.

My Mom lived in S. Florida the last years of her life. She wore elastic waist short/pants/skirts and cute little blouses and tops. She was always tiny. (5'2" and "ballooned" up to 105 lbs in her 80's from a steady 98 lbs all of her adult life, outside of pregnancy when I think she may have hit 110 LOL) I don't think those "designer" thingees would have EVER appealed to her. I confess I saw a few of the residents in her retirement community dressed in similar clothers though. Kate - if you really are considering, uh, modelling these - really??? Oh MY!

Sort of off topic; I love watching the 'Golden Girls' reruns and I think their wardrobe from that time period was so classy (well, except for those gargantuan shoulder pads, lol). Those women always looked fantastic.

My grandparents were of the generation that spent its days on the green benches on Central Ave in St. Pete, but that was many moons ago. Times have changed. All of Florida most definitely is not the last stop on a senior's ride through life! And I've not seen many seniors swaddled in material that was used as curtains in The Golden Girls!

What's really funny is that in her "workshops" she promotes courage, individuality, and self-awareness among girls (ages 7 to 18). At the same time she's buddy-buddy with Kate. I'm not sure. I remember Khate tweeting something about just because she mentions a name (like Fig Newmans) doesn't mean she's getting paid, she just likes them. I've seen her mention what she was wearing a couple of times, but I think it was in response to sheeple questions about it.
From what I have seen, Khate gets lots of freebies and does a TERRIBLE job of paying the designers or stores back. I even saw her tweet a designer name or company once, but she had their Twitter name wrong, so it didn't even link to the right person. I never watched the show, so I took a quick look at that clip and the next few parts of that episode. Not only was the "good bra" missing, but leave it to Khate to be CHOMPING ON HER GUM as she's talking to the orthodontist! My cousin is an orthodontist and he would find that shocking!
Also, since this is the first time that I've seen these clips, I am really appalled at how she's making fun of Mady's teeth! First of all, my kids would never want cameras to come with them to the dentist. By that age, I'm sure Mady and Cara knew that all their friends would be seeing their orthodontic consultation on tv. I can't imagine any kid being okay with that! Then, add to that having your mother fake fun of the problems with your teeth on national tv! OMG, I really despise this witch! My MIL is from the Jacksonville area and none of her family dress like that either. I wouldn't classify the ones I've seen dressed like that as seniors as I said in an earlier post the ones who dress like that are "wannabes".

Have to agree, Laurie. My MIL lives in Del Ray Beach (next to West Palm) and would never wear those dresses. Never! Nor do her friends. I was down there about a month ago and I don't remember seeing anyone wearing cheap, Ed Hardy-like dresses - they really are terrible. Most of the women wear nice shorts, golf or tennis outfits. My MIL is in her early 80's and her crowd is anywhere from 70 and up. I don't know who's buying these dresses but I don't think it's the locals!

My mother owns a home in a gated country club community in FL, where she lives during the winter months. There are multi-millionaires who live there, all very nice, classy folks. None of my mother's friends wear clothes that are like ElysaSuzanne's.
IMO Kate dresses like she is on the prowl 24/7. I still can't get over that get-up she had on in the pic when she was pumping gas...you remember the one...white low-cut top, Daisy Dukes and 4-inch peep toe heels. That outfit screamed "prostitute". She looked like a whore on the Las Vegas strip, and she should be ashamed of herself for wearing something like that. I wonder if she will let the twins leave the house wearing something like that when they are teenagers? I'm sure Jon won't.
There's something that I've wondered about.
What has caused the change in wardrobe since she and Jon divorced? She used to dress very conservatively in dark, muted colors. She claimed that she did not like to shop for clothes, even to the point that Jon picked out her clothes when they went shopping in one episode. Somebody please tell me, what has caused this drastic change? Any opinions or insights? IMO this change sends up red flags indicating a mental health issue.
Nope, Hippie, it's definitely not just you. Kate looks much older than my fresh-faced sister, who is 45! She's only a year older than me, and, not to toot my own horn or anything -- but she could pass for my mother. The factors you mentioned can age a person so very much. I personally think stress, combined with too much tanning, drinking and smoking (again, only my opinion) are what ruined Kate's looks. Despite her nasty personality, I used to think she was outwardly quite pretty.

Are these Teen Moms really getting that much for a reality tv show?! I think it's wrong for a tv network to reward these young moms for getting pregnant at a young age.
I could see how some teens watching this show (and reading that article) could think this is their meal ticket to get rich and famous too, without having to do much except have a baby. They won't think about the long-term consequences of having a baby. It's not a guarantee that they'll make the cast for the show.
It seems these days that many of our younger generation is consumed with getting rich and famous, the quick and easy way, without having to do any real work or show any real talent. This is how reality tv has poorly influenced our teens.
Are these reality moms saving part of their earnings from the show for their child's future? Or, are they spending every nickel and dime to live the celebrity lifestyle they always wanted - plastic surgery, bigger house, better car, etc? I doubt it's the former.

I've been a reader of this blog for quite some time, and I'd like to point out that wide brush you're using to paint us with. I read this blog just about every day but only post occasionally.I'm certainly not a sheeple and, in fact, have never watched the show, ever. I have seen various clips on YouTube and that was enough for me to realize that the Gosselin kids were, and are, being exploited. I don't feel the need to post to this blog regarding how perfect my mothering and family are but those posts are, for the most part, interesting to me. I've sort of rambled on here but my point is that I'm pretty certain that this blog, like many others, has a readership that feels no need to post or that will only post infrequenly, if at all. /end rant

My guess is that there are many of us who read this blog regularly, even daily, even several times a day (!) and appreciate the intelligence of the majority of those who chose to post. Don't assume that those who post rarely are sheeple. I've followed this sad saga from the early days and left sheepledom a very long time ago, years and years. Blogs on this topic come and go - most of those created in the early days - both pro and anti the show - have long gone and it's because of Admin's wise handling of comments that this one draws a more intelligent crowd. And I personally like her snarkiness, too LOL!!

Nobody took anything out of context. Her statement, "We all know Kate has no taste in clothes. Most of Florida has seniors living there, and they do dress that way" wasn't an opinion and didn't require interpretation or or an analysis. It was black and white. Nobody was nit-picking or looking for an argument, simply pointing out that this really isn't the case for most seniors in Florida.
I think that the problem was that many of this person's postings are not written as concisely as they could be. That's okay, but when you're trying to make a point, sentences cannot be so convoluted that it's difficult trying to figure out what is being said.
FL said, "I rarely feel the need to post, as most of the regular contributers are for the most part articulate and fair in their views. I'm sure you would have felt compelled to respond had "Florida" been replaced with "E-town"."

I'm not so sure what I have been accused of saying, but I didn't complain about nit-picking sheeple and I didn't call anyone a sheeple.
Generalizations are sometimes funny. There are many who think that most people in Lancaster County are Mennonites or Amish and we all wear either soup strainers (prayer caps), bonnets, or bright blue or purple ankle-length dresses with aprons, and those gosh-awful black lace-up school marm shoes (which are actually more attractive than hooker heels!).

Re: Kate "could use an oil blotter" on her forehead. I recall reading that Botox causes this shiny forehead syndrome - was specifically in reference to Nicole Kidman. It does seem that whenever Nicole comes out with a new, stiff, face - she also has a mirror-like shine on her forehead. Have noticed this on Kate many times since she began to mess with her face...
Just one more word about Florida. It depends on what part of Florida as to the way people dress. The people in South Beach for instance would dress differently than say someone from West Palm. The people in Daytona Beach would dress differently from either those. Orlando -- on and on. Or that would be my thought. But yes Kate has several of those dresses. If I am not mistaken she wore one on the last episode that I watched which was school breakfast when she asked the children how they were to eat their lunch and when they responded she thundered "quiet," then go ahead and say it altogether, which they did in perfect unison. The children were trying valiantly to please. Bizarre - last time for me.

Kate has certainly aged at least 15 years in the last three or four. I'm not so sure that tanning, hair-bleaching and stress does this so rapidly, does it? If not, then what is causing it? I've never seen anyone age like this. Take a look at the photo of her on the right side (fork photo) and compare it to recent ones. Something is very wrong.

This is another one who is really spooky. This one conducts workshops for teenage girls, lives very close to Kate, wants to meet for lunch, calls her "friend," frequents the same Starbucks, gets very personal, and appears to be trying her best to "get in with" Kate. How do you explain to a seven-year-old that a mom films her kids sitting on potties, puts them on the laundry room floor when they are sick, or makes them lie in their own vomit on a fishing boat?
Or maybe you don't explain it, and you just say, "See what a wonderful mom Kate Gosselin is because she is a single mom taking care of eight kids by herself!"
I just couldn't verify the Kate in Florida story to my satisfaction enough to do a post, and then the person who twittered this started calling someone who asked a reasonable question a hater?
When a random person posts a Kate sighting, usually they don't have a clue there is such a large group of people following the Gosselins on the internet. You can sort of tell when it's a random person not invested in any of it. It's rather odd for just a random person to refer to people as haters. I realize that is a term commonly used in many situations, but it just struck me as odd. And suspicious.
Maybe she was there, and I'm sure we'll get confirmation of it eventually if she was. She is indeed quiet on twitter, which suggests she is not home, and thus, getting attention.
I find it so pathetic that the times when Kate twitters the most is when her kids are with her. Her kids do not fill her up. She always needs to use twitter as a crutch when she is with her kids, to fill the void. Being a celeb and out on the road doing celeb things, not to mention all the filming, fills her up so much she abandons twitter. Sad. Similar to a person who gets off on stealing things, instead of donating things. The kinds of things that seem to fulfill Kate are rather dysfunctional.
I see there is a little bit of a spat today.....hopefully we can just bring it back to a friendly place. I understand these things come and go sometimes and it always works itself out here.
I also find people here to be so intelligent, and interesting as well. It cannot be said enough that the posters here make this blog. Kate and the kids may be the reason we gather, but there's been so much more that has come out of discussions that has really been the driving force of the blog.
I am very proud that this blog has managed to attract and maintain this kind of sophisticated audience. I really don't have to delete very many comments so I don't think it's attributed so much to the moderation.
Speaking about generalizations made me smile. When I've been to Europe people always seem to think Americans wear cowboy hats and boots. I had an awful time explaining to some German friends I met that no that's not what people wear where I live. It was funny, and cute.
Then when I saw a pic of William and Kate in Canada wearing cowboy boots and hats there were all these funny comments about how of course the Europeans think that's what we all wear here!
Hats off to you, Admin, for making this place have a general respectful mood.
I get the feeling that the poster who got upset MAY be hard of hearing. I have a cousin who is deaf and 'types' in a manner that he's just following his thoughts. He's extremely intelligent but you wouldn't know it from his writings.

In fairness, a lot of tweeple actually admitted on twitter both before and after that episode they were disappointed in Kate and leaving the flock.
Although the past year has been another frustrating one in the saga of a narcissist who just will not go away, there have been two major episodes in which Kate herself caused a bunch of sheeple to go jump off the cliff.
The foot licking, and the Sarah Palin camping trip.
By the way after the camping trip episode, I started to realize that the only person who will turn the fans off from Kate at this point will be Kate herself.
By the way I've always believed that boards can pretty much self-moderate if you play your cards right. I was on a very active board on TWOP awhile back that hardly ever had any problems with mods. It was proof that a big group of people can keep themselves in check if they want to. Aside from a few trolls, which I don't think really counts, you all take care of yourselves for the most part.
I'd been thinking that there was somethng weird about that Florida photo.
If you look at it closer, the bottom part of the dress isn't hanging correctly with how the top part is.
And look at her legs...there's something weird there. Like they photo shopped in two left legs, and put a right foot on one of them.
On the other hand, the shadows behind the 3 heads seem to synch up.
It's from below the boobs down that doesn't look right.
Try scanning from the bottom of the photo up. The other ladies seem fine...but Kate's you feel like something's off, but you can't tell what.
I think it's something with the legs.
Just a brief follow-up about the discussion earlier about the father with a blog ripping on the mother.
You know in family law court it really is the luck of the draw. You get get a traditional judge who favors mothers and requires you to be an axe murderer before they ever take custody from you. Or you can get a judge like this one, who realizes that a blog like this is DETRIMENTAL to the kids. She called it "child abuse." Amen.
What Kate is doing is exactly the same as that father. He chose to publicly express his anger toward the mother on a public forum called a blog, Kate chose to publicly express her anger toward Jon on a public forum called talk shows and magazines.
It is the same....darn....thing. Had the luck of the draw brought up another judge, Kate could just as easily have lost custody by now.
She is so arrogant about the way custody turned out. She doesn't realize she just GOT LUCKY. She got the right judge who doesn't think that parental alienation is happening here. Heck their judge might not even believe in the concept, it's not an old one.

I have been coming here about 3 months. Commenting, and reading what you all say. I can honestly and sincerely say l have learned a lot about myself during these few months. People sharing their stories about lives and childhoods.
Reading all this has taught me many things, one of the most important is, l am OK! lol Just because l was often told l was shit, everything l say is shit....is NOT true! I am as normal as anyone here ('cept for the odd shit disturber and sheeple) You have all taught me l am part of this world, and l deserve to be in it. Just like everyone else. Eh I don't think it's photoshopped. There is a shadow from Kate's head on the white curtain behind her. You'd have to be awfully darn good at photoshop to do that.
Her hair looks like it does now, actually this might be the real deal. Especially since Kate is so quiet on Twitter. She's up to SOMETHING or other.
It's just odd there's not that much info out there about this other than this.

Look at the left leg...the coloring on it is different than the other lady's legs, and different than Kate's right leg. It appears to be more shiny, and have a flatter color profile, like someone colored it in.
Look how smooth it looks compared to the other legs in the photo.
And the shadowing behind it isn't the same as the shadowing on the lady with the same leg position.

I think when you're observing something that you know in your heart is wrong, to have a bunch of other people say this is wrong to me too, is very reassuring and does indeed make you feel "normal." Also, I think since so many of us have similar experiences with people like Kate, there is a common bond. It helps people to know our "Kates" were the problem, not us.
I have watched this show since the specials and I remember thinking very shortly after that, gosh I don't think this is all that good for the kids but who knows....a short time afterward, I realized I certainly was not alone, and in fact, the numbers have only grown.
It sort of went from a small group of folks saying this kind of looks like this is bad for the kids we're going to keep our eye on it, to the vast majority of people saying this is outrageous child exploitation. It's been very cool to watch.

Kate's tweeting that she's back from yet another trip and was 'working' and only saw the beach from the air. So there you go. I don't know who would spend upwards of $300 on a dress like that because of Kate, but oh well. She's so predictable - she puts out just enough info to get whip her tweeple into a frenzy and then sits back and waits for the adulation. And it never fails. Never do one of them question who was taking care of her children.
As for the spat thing, I watched it play out through the day and I think it was just a simple case of misread words. The original post said (I think) that 'most of Florida has seniors' but it somehow got confused to read 'most of Florida is seniors.' I hope so sick of her cools down and comes back. I really enjoy her posts and I know most everyone else does too!

I think what you are seeing there is the fabric on the mannequin behind Kate (between the woman in the gold glitzy dress and Kate).
I just took another look at that photo. I don't think it's photoshopped either. Kate's balled up fist is behind the shoulder of the woman on the right (most people would have their palm against someone they were hugging). She has confirmed she was somewhere there's a beach. The picture made me laugh. Her boobs look so funny! I figured it out - they look like my travel neck pillow. It has a little snap so you can hang it on your carry on and her boobs look like my pillow when it's snapped together! Haha!

Sorry all, I should really say everything I want all at once. Perils of middle age. I watched an episode of Say Yes to the Dress tonight and they were promoting K+8 heavily. They showed a lot of the dramatic flare up and then one commercial (apparently airing Monday) about her tweet fest. And she looked AWFUL. Hi-def is not kind to anyone, but her cheeks looked rough and hollow. The makeup made it worse. That hair really drags her features down too. She is quite cute with short hair and not everyone can claim that. And she was stuffed into some satin pink tank top. She looks bad.

Regarding the photoshopping, as a rule specific body parts, arms, legs, are not individually added. We've all seen pictures of a head added to a different body, but to go to the trouble of finding two different legs and then adding them and getting the correct shadowing etc. just doesn't make sense especially for what looks more like a snapshot taken by a friend, not a professional photo. If that's not Kate and someone added her head to someone elses body, why would they mess with adding different legs?
If you stare at her legs long enough it almost becomes an optical illusion. Her right leg is straight and her left leg is bent at the knee with her foot turned a bit to the left.

Khate popped back on Twitter a little before 11 pm last night and said she had to put away groceries. Then, she came back a half hour later, around 11:35 and did over 60 tweets over the next hour.
She's back on Twitter now, already up to around 30 tweets. Of course, that's after she complained about having so much to do. I saw this coming, I predict she will be tweeting like crazy all weekend since she's home alone and she has to get them excited for Monday's show.
I don't think that dress pic is photoshopped, but I do think something isn't adding up as far as the woman in Michigan who posted it. When Kate came on Twitter last night, she tweeted it again:

I see no connection between her and the store, or the store owners. I just am wondering where she got that photo and how recent or old it is. Something still is not adding up.
Btw, she follows Khate, although I hadn't seen her tweeting Khate until she had that photo to tweet. In checking her Twitter out, I see she's a nursing student, getting married next year, claims to be into exercise and nutrition, tweets about her workouts at the gym a lot, called herself "fat" and is dieting for the wedding, but recently answered someone's tweet by saying she got down to a size 1/2 during marathon training, and is now a size 4 but she wants to be a size 2 for the wedding. (Oh, and she's tweeted photos of her dinner - a salad!)
Well, duh, I am just now realizing that there's a new post!

Similarly, I find it odd that people who can't stand her take the time to post on blogs telling others that THEY find it odd that people post on blogs and should WISE UP and not waste time on her!!

I do post here b/c I enjoy this blog.I find the people here smart and entertaining.I just didnt run into kate a year ago.I have watched from the 1st special...then the next then to the series.
AND yes I find it odd that people who dont like her comment on everyting she does or wears.Again...like I said...If my words sting thats YOUR problem.Its your guilt that keeps you watching...I dont watch and I want the kids to have privacy.I wont and havent watched for years ( the divorce) now.Not on youtube or anything else.What kate does I dont care.When the kids are being forced to work...I care.
I dont come here to attack people.I believe all have a right to thier opinion.I just question them from time to time.If you cant stand her WHY give her any attention ? Why comment on her shows? her shirts? her pants? her shorts? where she parks? who she see's?
The kids didnt sign up for this.When they are being worked to death...I'm gonna say something!
I'm not wasting my time on her...I'm trying to get the kids some privacy!Each to thier own I guess!

That nautical rope w/black background is so 80's/90's. I donated mine years ago. too bad, I could have sent them to Kate.
