Jon to single mothers: 'Kids don't need money, they need love'
Jon doled out some simple, yet profound words this evening as the curtains were drawn on the final episode of Kate Plus 8. We wish this good father we've watched for six years, a father who has proven over the past several months he really does walk the walk, a life of happiness, love, and perpetual privacy for his children.

In the RV episode, when they stopped and did laundry, goshopping, and get ice cream, she was saying that sshe wanted to move there, it's beautiful, great shopping. organic ice cream, "sign me up!". I was mostly responding to so many saying his tweets are private for a reason....and how that is illogical. Plus I certainly hope no one actually thinks anything they post on the WWW on a social media site, whether they mark them private or not, are actually private. Scary.

One more thing about Jon. He could confirm the boob job that Kate keeps denying (not that any of us with eyes and 1/2 a brain need confirmation).
He's never said one word about it. You can bet if Jon had any "surgical enhancements" done privately while married to Kate that were speculated on publically, she would have blabbed away.
Jon's classy enough to know Kate's breasts are none of his business and if she wants to lie about them, he could care less.
Didn't it just piss you all off that Kate Gosselin, Kate frigin Gosselin, a GD reality show personality, made more money that Jon Hamm, or Edie Falco of Nurse Jackie, (great show BTW!!), or Mary-Louise Parker of Weeds (Another GREAT show!!) & these fantastic actors have been in the acting business, the REAL 'biz', for a LONG time.
Their shows are FABULOUS. Kate Gosselin made more for ONE show that ANYONE on 'The Walking Dead' makes for one show,-yet another phenomenal show- but, we don't hear any of them bitching about money problems, do we? No. They are careful, they invested well, they have financial advisers, they live within their means.
Kate is either lying (check) or stupid (check). And it boggles my mind she made more than these amazing actors do, just for having kids & exploiting them.

I love the picture of Hannah running to Jon with that big smile on her face. Hannah is favored by Kate, and she doesn't even look that happy when she's with Kate. Jon treats all his kids the same, and Hannah seems to prefer him over her own mother. Very telling.
I think it's going to be hilarious to watch Kate and this website thing - she has no clue how they work, can't manage the technical end of one and already she's frustrated by the domain name thing. Karma, when she realizes that there is not a damn thing she can do about the 'fakers', and that Daddy TLC is not there to make it go away. Like others, I think that Stevieo has a contract with TLC, like Kate, and so will be on the payroll until then. After that, doubt Ms. Tighty Wallet will be paying him. There will be some interesting things happening once the contractual obligations are met, and then you will really be able to put a fork in her.

Kate may claim that she loves her kids, but I think it's more that she loves the fame and perks that those kids gave her. She will never understand that it was the kids who brought her fame. Without the kids, she is nothing.

Well, in light of the fact that the show probably averaged about a million viewers all year, Khate might think last night's two million was good. BUT, let's remember the ratings that K+8 debuted to last year, before the ratings nosedive.
Guess what, Khate? The much anticipated show finale STILL did not even get the ratings that the first three episodes got in 2010!

Did she seriously call Wernersville "Ghettoville"? That is just hateful. We have our second home in the area, and we love it! If you take the main thoroughfare through Wernersville, the houses there are nor brand-new McMansions, they are smaller, historic homes. I love that! Our main home is in a busy metropolitan suburb, where the houses just keep getting newer and bigger, the traffic is awful, and shopping is a nightmare. We go to PA, and we can all feel our blood pressure drop as we get to relax and enjoy life. I love the quaint homes, the ancient churches and buildings, and the peace and quiet. We have to keep our first home because of my husband's career, but when he retires we plan to move to PA permanently. We like to walk into stores where the salespeople smile and greet us. We like having neighbors who bring baked goods to the house, and stop to chat when we run into each other while walking the dogs. She may think that's
a ghetto, but some of us think it's heaven.

First of all, I was going to mention this yesterday, but I didn't want to tip her off. I had noticed that she was promoting the new website on TV and in tweets, but she still hadn't updated her bio on Twitter to include a link. So, I just checked her Twitter page for the first time today, and now I see that she has updated her bio to include it. BUT, she's so dumb because she just typed the www.address. She didn't put the hyperlink (make it "clickable"). Also, she's doing the same thing in her tweets. She's typing the web address but not the link that makes it easy for people to click on. What an idiot. So much for whoever is helping her out with the tech stuff!

I seriously think she bit off more than she can chew with this website. She probably thought it was simple to run like twitter, but it's the complete opposite.
There are still many available domains related to kateplusmy8, kateplus8, and kategosselin she really needs to purchase immediately. This isn't twitter where she can cry to her "internet po-po" to have them remove the fakes. It's not that easy.
Not sure if this Basar Designs offered to create Kate's site for free (in return for promotion), but it's a major fail on both ends. I still consider myself amateur, completely self-taught, but even I could have easily designed that in a couple of hours. The domain was purchased 8/28/11, which is more than ample time for me to create a more substantial site.
My suggestion to Kate: get more content up NOW or pull the site down until completed and redirect to a temp page. For my brother's site, we kept the forum and gallery active while the rest of the site was under construction. Kate could work on her blog section until the site is ready for re-launch.

Okay, let's be generous and try to believe that she didn't actually say something so nasty about Wernersville, but she DID still completely diss Pennsylvania ON CAMERA, so there's no getting around that. I suppose PA isn't glamorous enough for her. Which makes her insanely delusional, because she is as "common" as they come.
By the way, Nobu can't camplare to JR's Pizzeria, where Jon was photographed with the kids a few weeks ago. My family will take their yummy pizza and one of their HUGE plates of cheese fries over Nobu or STK or whatever any day. Jon gets it, Kate, why don't you?
Someone had this Peanuts comic strip posted today and it made me think of Jon. Charlie Brown and Linus are talking and Charlie Brown asks what Linus whats to be when he grows up. Linus replies? "Outrageously happy."
Seems to me Jon isn't worried so much about where the money will come from or what the kids will do or where they will work or all these things Kate obsesses over--he just wants these kids to be happy.

I don't think the website will amount anything more than her supposed blog she had on TLC. Kate's comfortable with twitter because it is limited to 140 characters, she can abbreviate what she wants to say and can pretend to be a heartfelt, loving, generous and caring person in less than 140 characters. There's no voice afflect and there's nothing to gauge her sincerity in tweets.
Kate having a website will take much more thought, design and intelligent conversation than she is actually capable of doing on her own. Unless she hires Beth to write her thoughts while Kate sleeps or actually takes Iwanna up on his experience as a computer literate, this website will be wrought with nothing but pictures of her kids, once again invading their privacy and cheap memorabilia for sale like Gosselin Cups, pictures, autographs and possibly a new way to consign used clothing online instead of schlepping it to the local consignment store.
Another big fail from all early indications.
It's been one day since she stuffed it down everyone's throats that she really, really wants/needs a job in show business. No word from her on anyone taking her up on it. So, how long til we can stop holding our (collective) breaths and feel confident that she won't be showing her leathery, orange face on our TV screens ever again?

All Kate's "explanation" did was insult people more!
She essentially said that unless she's TV she can't provide for her kids. How insulting to anyone who busts their butt and mediocre jobs to provide for their kids, that's not good enough for Kate. Those kids are not provided for enough, or good enough, up to her standards, is what she's saying.
And I say, kiss off, Kate.
@maria, I honestly think that Kate will be back on TV and possibly after the fall sitcoms have their run. I'd be willing to bet that Kate will be back on television in some fashion after the holidays. It will be a big ratings bonanza for the network that hires her for 1 maybe 2 shows and it will be all about Kate sans kids.
Unfortunately, I don't think Kate is going to go away this time. After she's brought back in another reality type show and it eventually fails, she'll be gone but there is a network executive out there that sees her as being a lightening rod for discussion and really bad behavior and they will try to buck up their bottom line with advertising revenue by putting her out there to make an absolute complete ass of herself.
She's down right now but she's not out. Count on it.

Everything this woman has done and been filmed doing is abusive and she has for years gotten a pass. The yelling at her husband, getting in her kids face's and yelling the way she did, Screaming at Jon in the Toys R Us and all the other's we've witnessed.
Alec Baldwin called his daughter a "pig" and although I can't stand him, he was pilloried in the press. Kate Gosselin verbally abused her husband and her children in each and every show yet she was the darling of the talk show circuits and the positive press.
You bet your backside it's hypocritical. When a man acts like that, it's abuse. When Kate acts like that, it's "JUST KATE". Total B.S. Abuse is abuse and there is no one above it that does it. It's abuse like water is wet, fires are hot and no one can say either one of them are almost wet or hot.
Kelly, please know that there are many women out there, myself included, who believe that women can be just as much responsible for domestic violence, including verbal abuse, as men, and do not believe our fellow women should get a pass on treating their husband and children like these just because they're the "weaker sex."
Personally I find it outrageous someone like Kate can talk to Jon like that in front of the children no less and still be regarded by so many as a great wife/mother. Try to put Alec Baldwin's face on that body instead of her orange tanned haggard one and watch what happens in the media.

Let's see...if anyone is mediocre because they don't have the "career" you had than my brother-in-law, he has 8 kids he works as a teacher, my sister has 7 kids and she works in clerical manager. I have 11 kids and I work as a nurse. Yeah we all sort of have large families. Point being she isn't the only person in the world to have a lot of kids.
We all get by on what we have and you don't see any of us running to a reality TV producer or talk show begging for a job now do you? You must be some piece of work honestly. @Admin, I know you believe that about abuse as do 99 percent of the people on this and many other blogs. I think the people who have posted over the years about how vile this woman is feel the same way. The show got a pass in the early years as a "cute wholesome show that shows the normal interaction between a couple with a large family".
That's as far from the truth as California is from Maine. I didn't grow up like that in a large family and saw nothing but respect between my parents. Granted they had their differences from time to time as most NORMAL people do but they never dissed each other the way Kate did to Jon and as a result, we didn't do that to our siblings.
We weren't kicked out of school in kindergarten for being aggressive and we never hit each other, never. Thankfully, my parents instilled in us a very strong ethic that we are brothers and sisters and to look out for each other. We still do to this day.
The behavior of those children on nearly every show with the hitting, the kicking, the tantrums and all that is on tape for years to come are statements that these kids live what they learn.
We're on the same page regarding abuse. Both men and women are quite capable of being the aggressor. It's never acceptable with either gender and certainly not worth minimizing when one does it not quite as bad as the other. I totally agree with you.

@smileygrl752 I havent' been to her website but read on her twitter that she only has 6 fans. I know nothing about running a website and just a little about twitter but on twitter, you can purchase your followers. I don't know if you can do that on a website but I'm pretty damned certain you can't purchase comments on a website. Her website will be her downfall.
Her fans are limited to a select few and aside from brownlow and a couple of others, most of the tweets are from juveniles.
I suspect the majority of the 2 millian who watched the finale tuned in to make sure she was truly gone. Regarding her trouble with the new website, perhaps this is something Jon could help her out with. She might want to revert to her original suggestion that Jon occupy the house during his weekends with the children. She and Steve could move out for the weekend while Jon spends time with the children and of course attends to her website needs.
She just won't STFU, especially about Jon.

Very interesting. Brownlow runs several blogs and claims to be an artist. A lot of her artwork looks extremely similar to copyrighted rubber stamps and digital images that I have purchased (I am an avid scrapbooker and crafter.) You don't do a soft launch of your web site. If you don't hook your readers right there on the first visit, there is a high chance they will never come back again. Much like a restaurant, you can't give them half-baked cooking and expect people to ever come back again.

UMMMM, last I checked they bought the big blue bus during marriage. Newsflash Kate, it belongs to BOTH of you, 50-50, fair is fair, asset in marriage you both acquired, why does she think it's now hers??? It's just as much his as hers. She may have gotten it in the divorce but she would have had to make it up to Jon somehow, such as buying his half of it. First of all, Kate is OBSESSED with Jon. Obsessed. Like needs serious therapy obsessed. She has been going on and on and on and on about a guy she left over two years ago. Who does that unless you prefer to cook bunny rabbits alive? Get a boyfriend already and shut up!!!
Second of all, you have to keep in mind this is Kate. Kate blows more money on these kids than most people would spend on one child in a lifetime.
So while Jon may pay a substantial amount any mother would be very grateful to have to help out, it's never going to be enough. Of course she may be paying the bulk if it if she wants them in the best school the best house the best trips....those are HER choices and hers alone. She can choose to downsize, she refuses.
And really, discussing a child support payment endlessly with anyone other than Jon, attorneys and the judge, is so outrageously inappropriate and has gotten better parents sanctioned.

It angers me to the core this constant parental alienation, she is out of control.
What does Kate want, for Jon to get his own big blue bus? That would drain him financially and how would he pay his child support?! How would that help Kate???? That makes NO SENSE. Why would he do this? Is she a total idiot when it comes to the dollar bill?
Doesn't it make a heck of a lot more sense they keep one big blue bus and share it??? This is very simple to make it fair! Just have a reasonable maintenance fee/insurance/upkeep/gas for it added into the child support payment every month. They can share the cost of it and it can be made to be fair. Jon can also be required to fill it up after every visit if Kate fills it up before each visit, which is more than fair.
Plus Kate, Jon didn't get three speeding tickets which made the big blue bus insurance skyrocket. That's YOUR problem and YOURS to deal with, Jeff Gordon.
Kate is obsessed with Jon and is so pissed off that her Diva attitude didn't translate into better press. On the other hand, Jon's been out of the public eye for nearly two years and aside from the two or three interviews this past month, nobody knows what he's doing.

Another thing, DH's ex, to this day, swears she paid for everything for their kids--everything! And she did, technically. She wrote the checks. That the money came from him didn't seem to figure into her logic (or lack thereof) I'm not sure where Kate is trying to go with this one, but she certainly must think most people are idiots.

Absolutely I'm sure that's what happened. Any divorce attorney who did not address the issue of transportation for eight kids on visits is practically committing malpractice. There is no reason this issue wouldn't have been brought up, and clarified and re-clarified so everyone is crystal clear how it will work.
I'm guessing what is easiest and what was probably done is to give the BBB to Kate, have her buy out Jon's HALF, work it into his child support payment the maintenance of the vehicle. Which probably makes stupid Kate feel like she's not "seeing" any money to maintain the BBB since it's buried in a lump sum child support payment. And thus she can lie and say she's doing him some big favor when really this was all worked out so it was fair in court.
Does anyone else believe for a second Kate would let him touch a thing of hers unless the court makes her? LOL.
Does he have to divide his support into little envelopes labeled "school" and "gas" and "food" and "BBB" and "toys" so Kate feels like he's not just paying for lunches?

As a family law attorney, Admin, would you say she's one of the most bitter you've seen? In my 24 years in the legal field (although not all family law), I can't think of anyone I ran into like her. A couple of doozies, but she takes the cake.

The next page on the link was a list of 2010 Audi TTs for sale. Most are in the mid-to-high $30,000 range, a few in the low $40,000's. So I am assuming Kate probably paid around $35,000.
The mileage on most of these cars is quite low.
I wonder if the owners heard about the recall and traded in early? Or else (Kate, are you listening???) bought it, discovered they had a

@fidosmommy No problem. The Audi is nothing more than a glorified VW. Same cars. Kate's TT is about 10,000 dollars more than a Jetta but it's the same car. Actually the TT is really an ugly design and although the media is saying she bought an Audi Convertible, that isn't true. She has a hatchback that is thousands less than the convertible.
Kate's TT is the 2 door model of an Audi A4 which isn't manufactured but her car is just a renamed version. Audi is to VW as Acura is to Honda and Lexus is to Toyota. High line names with the same factory assembly line.
Same thing with American made cars. Escalade is nothing but a Chevy Tahoo and those Lincoln Town Cars Kate loves to be photgraphed in are nothing but the Ford Crown Victoria much like NY taxis.
Hoping Kate enjoys her TT as most college kids are enjoying their Jettas. Same car, two less doors and thousands less. Oh well.
This is the worst case of parental alienation I have ever seen, yes. Mostly due to the length.
The parental alienators I've seen get STOPPED before this goes on two years. And by stopped I mean, lose their kids to the other parent. Sometimes I really love CA's legal system.
Regarding the kids' expenses, it's probably technically true that Kate is paying the majority of them, but it's a matter of context: she chooses to send them to an expensive private school, she chooses to dress them in matching brand new expensive clothes, she chooses for them to live in a much larger house than they need, she chooses to feed them expensive organic groceries.
If she were living a more realistic lifestyle, Jon's share would be more proportionate. Unfortunately, it's still probably true that Kate would be responsible for more of their expenses than Jon. My child support for 2 is only $745/mo and my monthly expenses are around $3700/mo. I'll spare the details but that's how much they are even after cutting everything except cable/Internet and having no credit card debt.
I remember the pain in William's eyes when he decided to hold a press conference to address the tell-all one of Diane's employees wrote. I thought he was so mature and grown up as he talked about his mother being betrayed.
I guess he didn't give a darn that a 19 year old young man was still grieving his mother.
Now she is calling Jamie a liar - denying the Angelina Jolie comment ever happened.
By the way it was widely reported it was William's idea to hold the press conference. He wanted to face the press head on to send the message out STFU about my mother, what right did you have to betray her confidence? How could you do this to me?

I like Jamie, too. I think she'd be fun to have as a friend. I just don't understand what she sees friend-wise in Kate. Kate doesn't give back. It's a one-sided friendship...what can you do for me.
You know darn well if anything bad happened to Jamie, Kate couldn't be bothered. She'd say, "Call me when you get better so you can come help me."
I just finished watching The Runaways, the movie about the band that launched Joan Jett's career and paved the way for future rocker girl bands. Toward the end, Cherie Currie was coming undone and there was a scene in the grocery store. She was dressed in sequins and tight clothes and HUGE heels and gobs of makeup. They showed her heels and she was twisting her ankles all over the place. I thought, "OMG! That looks like the pics of Kate that we see!" And I suddenly felt very sad for her. I don't like her, I don't like what she does, but how sad is it that someone was given opportunities that 99% of the population will never have, simply because she birthed a bunch of kids, and she has lost it all, and it's her own doing. She had a husband who loved her and adored their children and was very hands on with them and put up with a LOT from her. They had a nice home. Their kids are healthy and delightful. They had people who loved them and wanted to help them. And because of her narcissism and inability to see anything wrong with herself and change it (or acknowledge she has changed for the worse), most of that is gone. Sure, she has material things, but those are fleeting. She still has healthy children, but they will have issues x8. She is reviled, she has no partner, she has very few friends, she has no family, she has nothing that matters to everyone who values what is truly important in life. And that is so sad. It didn't have to be like this.

Kate has never perfected the art of lying. A really good liar will remember the lie, be able to keep track of what was said, and continue the lie convincingly. Kate's not that smart, and so she gets caught.
One of these days she actually will tell the truth about something, but because historically she has done nothing but lie, nobody is going to believe her.

Audible Click, you're right. Jamie said that she told Kate she's no Angelina, but now Kate is denying Jamie ever told her that. How does Jamie stand it? I wonder if she calls her on it and says, "Why do you talk about me like that? You know I said it! I say it all the time!" But then Kate would just deny that she ever said Jamie didn't say it, even though the tweet is out in cyberspace for perpetuity.
I had a friend like that - for 10 YEARS she went around telling everyone I talked to in her presence that SHE was the best friend. You would think that I would be the one to decide that. It was all her, all the time. She was ALWAYS very late. We ate at the crap restaurants she liked, while she made digs about my weight (she's obese, I'm small). We'd shop, we'd spend all the time in the big lady shops (where I could poke around the necklace department), and then she'd tell me her husband said we couldn't hang out because he said she spent all his money with me. I said, "How does that work? I don't spend a dime." Every single thing she did was passive aggressive, just like Kate. VERY long story short, a friend's husband died and she had not reached out to this person in all the months her husband was dying. When he did, she called this woman and said they HAD to hash things out, right then. She got blown off. Prior to that, I had given her an ultimatum - the ball was in her court - and I never heard from her again. What a relief. Then at the funeral, which she had the audacity to attend, she came running to the bathroom, right behind me, sobbing.....and I just walked out without acknowledging her. (Met her hubby on the way out and he obviously had no idea we were no longer speaking.) No damn way was she making that woman's funeral about HER. I predict this is how it'll end with Jamie, just as it did with Beth. People just walk away and say 'all done, no more.'

It's been said before hundreds of times here but something is very off about her body language with them. They don't melt into her like they do Jon. When she kisses or hugs them there's resistance from them. One of the best examples of this was when she talked to Collin at the corn maze when he was behaving well. He was PULLING away from her uncomfortable to be confronted so close.
This happened when you never know whether mommy is pulling you toward her for a hug........or a smack.
Anyway, we don't need photos, we have 150 episodes proving how she treats these poor kids.

I'm behind on comments, I apologize if someone already mentioned this. When J&K hooked up with Julie May and started canceling all the low-paying speaking engagements, their old website o'grift also got a makeover. The begging and pleading was replaced with an extremely spiritual site. There was a bunch of "coming soon" stuff on there that was never completed. Kate was going to post a different, favorite bible passage every day. Never happened.
I also think this website is yet another way for Kate to give BM the finger. Kate has made it crystal clear she is thoroughly annoyed with BM and her fansite. Sad that BMs lips are still firmly planted on Kate's flat arse.

He gave his "contribution" and now she would like him to go away, and have no contact with the children so she can call the shots. Get the website, pull in her RSS feed and twitter feed to essentially mirror her site and there is nothing she can do about it. It's all perfectly legal. You won't make much of anything off of it (most likely), but you will siphon off some of her traffic and most importantly you will drive her crazy.
Done right the spoof site could be done so much better than her official site and actually make some money, now that I think about it.

Jeanne, that's my understanding of how child support works in PA and it's right on the money for how a lot of states do it. Most of them boil down to some kind of computer calculator that tells you a number, then you take it to the judge.
PA's system sounds similar to the Dissomaster computer program which is basically a logarithm that asks you a bunch of questions then tell you what to pay. It's going to spit out the same number every time if two people have identical circumstances, it doesn't care who you are. Same thing, you can go to the judge if you think Dissomaster's number isn't fair. Mostly it's your income vs. how much time you spend with the kids. The more time you spend the less you pay--with Jon spending nearly every weekend now with the kids that might have lowered his number (which is only fair, Kate!) which might explain her latest propaganda campaign that Jon couldn't keep a kitten alive with this kind of money.
The bottom line is that someone in Jon's shoes is probably paying a similar amount, and if Kate doesn't think it's fair, by all means go cry to the judge and get him to change it.
Dollars to donuts she HAS gone, and the judge has told her forget it lady this is plenty of money to give your kids a wonderful life. Explains Jon's you win some you lose some comment.

Those poor kids are surprised and confused when Kate says something or touches them , because that's not how she likely is off camera. They are all uneasy around her, trying to figure her out, so they don't get in trouble. They want to say and do exactly the right thing.
She probably lets the nanny do most of their care and likely spends little time with them, except when filming.They look at each other for cues and to the other adults, like Steve, Jamie & Ashley as to how to act, too.

The interview was live and I totally thought "Oh no she didn't!" when she said the mediocre comment. She ticked off so many people and even then she couldn't apologize for it, instead she tried to explain it away.
I have a feeling most of her apologies are like that anyway - always an excuse.
What really amazes me is that all the sheeple keep saying that Jamie and Ashley were wrong to speak about Kate in front of the kids.
Yet it was okay how Kate spoke to Jon in front of the kids. The finale clips showed that there were many times she did this.

Get over it, realize you had a 'fun fling' and NOW it's DONE! With the age of the kids now, you would be able to support them decently on a nurse and Jon's salary. And guess what, YOUR kids don't DESERVE any more than to live 'decently' any more than anyone elses kids. And YOU don't even deserve to live decently UNLESS you EARN IT!

"We are not set for life." Maybe you should have thought of that before you bought a $1.3 million home on 20+ acres while, by your own admission on Monday, your marriage was "unraveling". Most people with marriages on the brink of divorce wouldn't take on that kind of financial burden.

As for child support - what pains me the most is imagining what she must say to the kids. Some of my worst memories growing up were the times my mother made me call my dad re. child support payments. I hated being put in the middle of a grown up situation and even as a small child I knew she was wrong.
My mother pulled a lot of stunts like that one, constantly pitting me against my father. 'Stunts' is too mild of a word considering her favorite threat was that she would kill herself if I went to live with my father (which my older brother had already done). I hate to think kHate is probably sending those same messages.
Many years of therapy have helped me and I am sure the 8 will follow suit. My dad was strong and constant - just as I imagine theirs is - and that will be a big blessing for them!

She's basically gone. However if you're reading her tweets I guess it doesn't seem that way.
As far as karma goes, TLC canceled her show, the media is ragging on her, her only friends, Ashley & Jamie, have told it like it is (Kate's a bitch), she's got a website with no content...isn't that karma?

these sheeple..do u think they r long time fans? how to they explain kates turn on the churches who helped support her? the grfting at churches crying "braces times 8 and college will be so expensove" one month b4 closing on the 1.3 mil house? the comments from her herself she walked away from the marriage when an ephinany hit during a planeride? seeing the kids go from sweet and obediant to screamers and whiners (granted they didnt know about big red spoon). how do they believe kate is organized when episode after episode she is melting down over clothes (pack more), cupcake mess, forgotten birthday cakes ect.
the sheeple were telling kate she needed a childrens clothing line. ummm tried and failed.
this woman had the brand (although fake) or being a stay at home, organic coupon clipping loving wife of 8 sweet kids. she set up crafty valentines days, had a family mission statement, loving family to assist, sang carols at xmas, supposedly was a master cook ect. yes it was fake but no one really knew. she could have branched out and made her brand very successful. but her ego got to big. at came the boobs, heels, mini skirts, screeching, ignoring the kids, salad eating maniac we see today.
and its all her own fault. she destroyed her own brand to be considered "hot'
what a waste. i can see why TLC dumped her. they worked hard to create her persona and she ruined it. sur ethey tried a new angle of "bitch" but that wasnt very successful in the long run and for sure doesn't equal the $$$'s that the original brand could have made for them.
off you go kate..u had access to it all and blew it. this is why i dont see success in your future. u forgot about family and became ALL about money and it was your own downfall. she wil never be happy even if she gets a hosting job because she will have to drag her butt out of bed and work! she will have to answer to producers..worry about rating..spend long hours preparing. im sure she thinks keppy ripa just waltzes onset and yaps for an hour then goes home. she has no clue how much prep time a one hour talk show takes. she will fail. she has no work ethic. sure the job may pay for luxuries but she will never be an oprah. it wont last and she will hate it.
she should have stayed in the old house or found a similar one in the neighborhood and paid cash for it. finished the basement completely for more space. dug a pool in the yard, paid of a nice minivan, invest her $ and then she wouldnt have to be beggging for a teeeveeeee job. she would have been set. TLC gave her the opportunity of a lifetime and she blew it big time.

Oh, please...that's Kate thinking that she's sending all the "haters" into a frenzy. Just like when she announced sh has a "BIG surprise" and it turned out to be a pathetic web site. She doesn't want us to think she's down and out, so she puts out these teasers, which end up being nothing. She wants us to think she ahs some big, new TV career in the works. After Monday's fiasco, I don't think so. She would be nothing but a liablility for anyone in the media. Does someone really want to put her on a talk show to talk endlessly about Jon and money? Cause that's all she has to say.

Pathological liars lie even when they don't need to.
Kate views the world with her own skewed perspective....and always will. She is a textbook malignant narcissist and even extensive therapy rarely helps.
She really crossed the line with the "mediocre" comment....but what is interesting is that she thinks WE should all agree that she must remain on TV so that she can continue to support the lifestyle they've become accustomed to. I mean hell, I would love to be a neurosurgeon and live the lifestyle that could afford me and make that kinda money but I doubt that will ever happen, no matter how much I might want it...or how much I think I'm entitled to it. She clearly doesn't get that. In her reality, everyone else doesn't matter. The fact that most people live paycheck to paycheck is inconsequential to her.....SHE is the only one who is important to her.
And if she constantly lies and contradicts herself.....well,that's the way she sees things at that particular moment. It doesn't have to make sense or fit with anything else she's said.
I'm sure that for most of us, even attempting to put ourselves in the mind of a narcissist is difficult, if not impossible.
Oh....and IMO most of the fans are major man-haters. Their man left them, rejected them, traded them in for a younger model, etc.....so that despite the facts, any time a man is involved, he is WRONG and is a horrible person.

I am so sorry, I meant no offense to anyone with incontinence. My point was that according to Kate, she HAS no flaws, so admitting to anything about her being less than perfect would be the ultimate comedown for her. This is a woman who cannot even admit to having surgery scars, for heaven's sake!
I apologize for the misunderstanding, and I am the first to admit that I have my imperfections, too, for example:
1. I have cankles. Big ones.
2. I have stretch marks from having my kids.
3. I still get zits, and it irritates the hell out of me. I thought I had left them behind when I got out of my teens, but nooo. Every time something important comes up, like family pictures, I can always count on a huge zit popping up.
4. I have really ugly toes. That combined with my cankles pretty much guarantees that I can never, ever wear heels and a dress. Don't want to scare anybody.
Let's all embrace our imperfect selves and never try to convince the world that we are otherwise.

Kate just got schooled on The View!
Sherri finally came to her senses and said she took exception to Kate saying construction was "mediocre" and said all kids need are food, clothing and shelter. She was really annoyed with Kate and said reality TV fame is "fleeting" and is not here to stay.
Barbara went off on her about how she shouldn't have had 8 kids if she was so worried about how she couldn't provide for them.
Elizabeth was annoyed with how Kate is worrying the kids about how school and the house will be paid for. The kids shouldn't have to worry about that.
No one had ANYTHING good to say about Kate and no one defended her.
The View puts the episodes up on ABC's website later in the day. Will be looking for it later. Guess Kate won't be tweeting with Sherrie anymore.

But nooooooooo.....she had to feel like she's Hollywood and only a mansion would suffice.
And everyone would love to have their kids in a posh private school. But with EIGHT kids she should've known that that is a HUGE financial commitment that reality tv just could not accomodate. There is no reason those kids can't go to a smaller private school or even just public school.
Poor Poor financial decisions were made by this ninny. And now everyone is supposed to feel sorry for her?
Such a doggone shame she had millions of dollars at one time, and because of poor spending she will eventually end up broke.

I take it Kate you are yet again omitting the fact that Jon's contribution goes into the pot and from this pot you pay the expenses. It's just too funny IMO that Kate's big mouth is what is destroying her. For all her bitching about editing, editing what comes out of her mouth is the best thing that could happen to her.

Well, I don't think I need to check by here so much, but it will be interesting to see how things work out in the next few months. I think Kate's next big thing will be writing a book, her spin. It is clear Kate wants to remain relevant. She's seen that Octomom is seldom in the news these days.
Glad the comment about TLC hating a 10 year old was just a retweet, but even if it is a comment from a sheeple, what are the family dynamics if a mother has to tell a 10 (!) yearold at a bus stop that TLC does not hate her by taking away her K+8 show, and then makes it a LOL moment on twitter. I thought it was odd since the kids seemed just fine on the last episode with the whole thing.
Someone had made a snarky comment that Kate probably drowned her sorrows Monday night in NYC and that's why she got home late. You know, I think that may just very well be the case.
Sad that Kate's tweet this morning said, " Spent bus stop moments convincing my 10 year old daughter that TLC doesn't hate her and didn't take away K +8 just to spite her LOL". It is amazing that a child is feeling the effects of not having camera crews around...if TLC was just shadowing "real life" then a kid shouldn't care at all. I also don't think it was an LOL moment...just pathetic.

It is not a mansion. At least not here. Depending where you live, it might be called an estate or a mansion, but here, it's just a big house. There are many houses of equal size, or larger (I've owned one), but never, ever did anyone here ever refer to my house as a mansion or an estate. That kind of makes me smile.
That said, at the time it was purchased, and when she enrolled the kids in school, she thought that reality television would go on forever, at least until the kids graduated. Heck, she was still saying that a few weeks before the show was canceled. I guess in her head, with the money continuing to roll in, there would be more than enough to cover expenses. Obviously, she didn't think ahead.
Even if she would have been advised that this wasn't the thing to do at the time, that it would have been smarter to buy a new house with cash and one that was affordable, she never would have listened. She had absolutely no idea what it costs to own and maintain a property such as hers. She had no experience in matters like that. The Nouveau Riche want it all and they want it now.
I don't for one minute believe that she's broke and desperate for money. Not yet. The wise thing right now would be to do as she should have done years ago - buy that smaller house, send the kids to her old alma mater - MCCS (a very good private school) and get her act together.
But you know it's never going to happen because all of that is just, well...mediocre. Her priorities are all messed up. She thinks that "best" equals material possessions, never figuring that kids don't need all of that to be happy. They don't need VIP treatment, all-access backstage passes, dream vacations, or have luxuries dropped at their feet. What they need is love and protections and parents who will make sure that they have it. They have one parent who will do that. One out of two is better than nothing.
I bet Steve, backstage at Today Show, immediately thought....it's really over now when she said the mediocre comment. She's getting it all over the internet. It's hard to believe that anyone can justify that comment, but somehow some sheeple zealots are doing just that. Apparently, the rest of the world is ignorant because they really understand what she meant.
Anyone watch the View this morning? the ladies had plenty to say about Kate and not very favorable,i hope someone with more knowledge then i have can put up the link for the hot topics.

If the pay was so low and you are so broke, how on earth did you purchase not one 'used' car but TWO in the same day. Mediocre people of the world usually have to squeeze the budget to get just one.
How can a broke person possibly afford not only a 'girl' to do laundry and 'other things' to free you up to spend time with the kids, AND hire a full time babysitter too. ESPECIALLY if you aren't even working now? So you can run? Twitter? Put your website up? Mani/pedis? Tanning? I mean you do have it SO hard. I can see why you are SO exhausted.

I thought they liked to call themselves intelligent and informed. They had her on enough times and did enough research to know she was a grifter who was exploiting her kids. It just goes to show a lot of people in the tv industry get up and wash more than one face in the morning.
In the South her property would be called a "farm" or "estate" particularly because of the fenced acreage, barn and large home.

Boy do I agree with this comment, AuntieAnn. BUT I don't think anyone except Whoopie bothered to do research, based on dummy Sherry's comments on the previous shows. Well, Sherry is not too bright about many things, but things were said by ALL of them to show me they didn't do much research AT ALL.
I've been to England several times, they actually use miles not kilometers. Beats me why.
The remark that Kate made about not wanting to be in show business when one is 'as OLD as Barbra Walters or Larry King", probably didn't go over too well with Barbara, I would imagine.

She also made another dig at them this morning about some DVD's and that it stinks that she doesn't know if they will be showing reruns or not (that's the jest I got when I read the tweet). Kate's now on a mission to start throwing TLC under the bus IMO.

Somebody fed her that line. I don't think she could have came up with that word on her own without butchering it. The way she is grabbing up quotes on Twitter, she may have gotten it there or from her top adviser.

My hubby is from Hampshire, England. He said that they are partially converted to the metric system but not all the way. I had to teach him how to understand our temperature in Fahrenheit.
