Although the show is cancelled, Kate is still putting the kids to work--this time at elaborate professional photo shoots for her blog. The kids spent their Sunday last weekend going to church (allegedly) and then sitting for photos. Kate tweeted she was up at 7 a.m. that day and was moving "full force" all day.
Despite having just participated in what was surely an expensive photo shoot, Kate accepted another free cereal freebie today, even tweeting what kind of cereal she preferred, instead of asking the cereal company to please donate to those really in need.

Photoshoot was stressful because Kate makes it stressful, just as she makes everything stressful.
If she's such a pro at being organized and managing her kids and as positive as she claims she should have no reason to take out her stress on her own children. Come off it already.
I realize children can be stressful but they react and behave to situations by watching you as a parent. If you remain frazzled and stressed out, then they pick up on that. It's not rocket science to figure out, "Oh, gee whatever is bothering me I should set aside right now." But no she couldn't possibly do that.
If she approached doing this photoshoot with that type of attitude she was doomed to be stressed from the get go here and it's really her own fault. There are ways to make family photograph sessions pleasant and non-stressful she just chooses to point out that SHE is always so stressed out. Kate you do it to yourself, why do you expect sympathy again?!?
Does she have to dress her kids alike? Honestly. We get it you have sextuplets and a set of twins. Ever heard of individuality? Guess not. I see no reason to continue doing this or to start it in the first place. Non-matching clothes look just as nice as long as they are decent to begin with. And can we talk boring colors? Fall isn't about grays and blues, nice try. It's about gold, brown, orange and yellow. Sure she wears orange but it only makes her stick out and look ridiculous really.

Who does that? Unless it was a freebie offered to her all of a sudden.
And now we know why the girls look so miserable--they were having to follow their mom's nasty barked orders, grabbing clothes for the tups the entire time they were with her.
Preesi has the EXIF photo info that says it was taken yesterday. How does she do this?!! Quite the sleuth!

Laurie - in case you missed my comment. Her car does have a backseat, if you want to call it that. A kid can sit there, although not comfortably, but an adult would have to be extracted with the Jaws of Life to get them out of there. It is not illegal to have a child sit back there.

I was always suspicious of Kate claiming the photos were taken on a different day because, as a former journalist, we are taught to be extremely careful about dates. Even messing up a date can in certain circumstances be libelous and get you sued. It seems awfully sloppy of INF to keep messing up dates like this.

I kinda thought she was stretching it about church when she said always went but sometimes "forgot" to mention it. Okay. Was hair rolled at Old Navy? No way she got everybody including herself ready in 1 hour, unless she had tons of help. Deanna had to have been there to do her hair and makeup. Where is the fire? What's the hurry, you got all day. She does the same thing at National Monuments like her Rushmore and Philadelphia. Hurry along now, there's nothing to see here. We have to get back and stare at the walls. Like mother said she would lie when the truth would serve her better.
I'm sure others have seen professional photo shoots but we all know, some of us firsthand, photo shoots take HOURS. And hours, and hours. Especially with women and children.

So she went to church, dropped the kids off at home, got in the Audi, went on Old Navy on a Sunday when it's busy, picked out nine outfits, got home, got all gussied up, drove everyone to Reading (Reading is not just around the corner) and still had light left for the photo shoot?

Professional photo shoots take forever, anyone who has seen one can attest to that. Even if the kids were all ready to go, Kate still needed hair-makeup. Kate said the photoshoot was only an hour from those photos. It's just impossible. Moreover, the photo timestamp reveals the photos were indeed taken yesterday.

No. The Exif is literally tattooed into the photo by the digital camera and has nothing to do with when you send it to whoever and everything to do with when you take the photo. I used to be really into photography though not so much anymore, but if I recall correctly, the only way to manipulate it is to actually download an editing program and change it, or change the date on your camera BEFORE you take the photo. A professional photographer selling photos to INF would have no reason to do that, he would want his photos to be as accurate as possible should he stumble upon some huge breaking news story. And, a good photographer guards the integrity of his photos, there is nothing in it for him to lie about when they were taken by trying to manipulate his camera's date/time.
Kate accused them of lying after they posted the photo. Why would they go in there ahead of time and go to that length of trouble to switch things around? Why wouldn't they just say the pics were taken Sunday, makes for a better story anyway. Come on, this is a blog that posts photos all day long! You're not that special, Kate!

Additionally, there are seatbelts for the rear seats for at least the 2009 models and above (possibly earlier models too).

I haven't sat in an Audi TT coupe but I used to ride in my dad's old Porsche 911 when I was a kid. He was about Kate's height, 5' 6", so he adjusted the front seats forward so I could have legroom in the back (parents up-front). It was comfortable, not cramped for a kid (under 5 ft. tall). It did lack the normal thick cushion of a regular backseat for added comfort, but I didn't care about those things at that age. I would assume Kate's Audi is about the same, as I don't expect the twins to be served on a "golden-platter" in luxurious seats.
I agree, Gossip. A kid can ride there for a trip around the neighborhood running errands and such, but I wouldn't make a child sit there for an extended period of time...certainly not for hours at a time. It is not only uncomfortable because of the lack of padding, but it's as bumpy as heck and claustrophobic back there!

Thanks, Admin. I was a newspaper photographer/darkroom tech years and years ago before the age of digitals, so I had no idea how that works. So it's like a time stamp that is permanently embedded into the photo at the time the photo is taken, and has nothing to do when INF received the photos. Why in the heck would Kate lie about that, knowing that there are ways in which she could get caught in her lie?
Here's the thing, though. If those photos were taken yesterday, they would have been taken after the girls got home from school - around 5:30 - 6 p.m. (allowing for travel time to the store, and then shopping). It's nearly dark here at that time, and those photos do not look like they were taken at dusk.

Plus the shadows are long, which suggests mid-afternoon. It makes sense to me if she picked them up from school and let the other kids get on the bus and go home to the nanny.

Yesterday was not Lower School dress-down day, so if they were picked up at school, they would have been wearing uniforms in the photo, which they are not. If the photo was taken yesterday, why would they go home to change first, instead of going shopping in their khakis? None of it makes any sense.

To believe Kate is not lying is to believe that the photographer MUST HAVE changed his Exif data. Why? Why would he do that? Why would he bother? Why would he ever in a million years think someone would bother looking at that? That makes even less sense. And what is the motive to change the data? Why not just say these photos were taken Sunday? Also, look at the long shadows, evidence of late in the day.
In any case whatever if Kate is lying or not, doesn't change the fact that she's taking out her stress on her children per her own admission. I care way more about that.

To do something nice for the twins, a quiet afternoon with just mommy in mommy's fun car? This is what a normal mother might do now and again with a lot of kids. But this is Kate, so it does become harder to believe.
