Uh oh. Has she thought about the many other celebs who have experienced serious, sometimes even deadly problems with their fans? Here are just a few.
2. Selena's death. Yolanda SaldÃvar was president of Selena's fan club and worked her way up to managing Selena's clothing stores. Selena's designer quit because of Saldivar, calling her "possessive." When Salvdivar was accused of embezzling money, she fatally shot Selena in 1995.
3. Jodi Foster's stalker. In 1980, Ronald Reagan was almost killed by John Hinckley Jr., Jodi Foster's stalker. Foster spoke with Hinckley on the phone a few times when he called. "Over the past seven months I've left you dozens of poems, letters and love messages in the faint hope that you could develop an interest in me," Hinckley wrote in a letter to Foster just before the shooting. Foster has had at least two other stalkers since Hinckley.
4. Rebecca Schaefer's death. Robert John Bardo wrote letters to Schaefer for three years, showed up on the set of My Sister Sam, and sleuthed out Schaefer's private address through DMV records before shooting her at her front door. (After her death, the CA DMV changed its privacy laws).
6. Sheryl Crow's stalker. One of her fans said that the singer was his "spiritual twin" and said they were "spiritually connected." Ambrose Kappos was arrested in 2003 after hopping into Crow's limo.
7. Gweneth Paltrow. Dante Michael Soiu showed up at her parents' house numerous times (where she often stayed), and sent the actress countless packages and letters. The FBI had to get involved. “I am more than a fan,” he said in one letter. “I have formed a soul union with you.” He was convicted in 2000.
Maybe it's time Kate get off Twitter.

I don't recall her saying that they'd had an enlargement of the patio/pool deck area. She seemed kind of funny about the slide, which made me wonder what was going on. It was kind of like she was hoping the new slide didn't trigger some other issue, but who knows what that would have been.
Now we know.
No wonder the pool surround looked so fresh and clean! It was brand new!

My guess is the kids went back to school so after Kate dropped them off at the bus she went home and got back into bed until about 2:30... when Steve wakes her up.
Other than spouting off about herself, what tips has Kate ever offered on Coupon Cabin that we can not find for ourselves? And now CC is sending Kate to a marketing convention fully paid? CC needs their collective heads examined.
Why they put up with this, one will never know. I personally will never view CC ever again. Using a fraud to promote your site is not acceptable.
I stuck her latest Coupon Crabin drivel into a Word document and hit Control F to find all instances of "me," "my," and "I" because I saw a lot of that just skimming it.

That's a heck of a lot of me, my, and I for a blog post that supposed to be about helping OTHER PEOPLE use coupons and save money, isn't it?
Also, I know for sure someone cleans up her writing before it gets published on the site.
When she writes her own stuff (we've seen it, it's awful, with loads of usage errors), she's never once used the word "myself" correctly.
It's a reflexive pronoun, which means it needs to reflect back to a previous use of the regular pronoun (I or me) in the same sentence in order for its use to be correct. Many people use it incorrectly, Kate included. No big surprise there.
It was used correctly in this CC blog post. Anytime her writing is cleaned up considerably, whether it's on her own site or CC, I noticed certain pedestrian errors she consistently makes are gone.
Lest anyone think I'm sitting around for hours on end analyzing Kate's writing, things like that jump out at me, no matter who wrote it. It's part of being an English teacher, I suppose.
But the bigger point has already been made by others: how the hell is that supposed to enlighten anyone as to saving money? Did CC really need an uninspirational, ego-driven hack to put her name on a ghost-written blog post every now and then?
I guess they did. Shrug.
I just re-read that and it keeps occurring to me how surface level and trite she is. Unintelligent, really.
If she were in a freshman level composition class, she'd get a C. What does she say that is of substance?
Or even of interest?

Let me count the ways, take the strand of lights off the top and what few ornaments were there, remove the obstruction, stand in a chair and take the angel off, have 3 kids play catch the top part when you tilt it, have 3 more plus you take the heavy end, have one more walk behind you with the vacuum sucking up the dead needles (i.e. the window shades) and one to hold the door and maybe with a little luck the 9 of them can drag it to the curb.

What did CC get out of KT? Well as luck would have it they got on Extra and Showbiz, Radar, and whoever else she could muster. I think that is the kind of awareness they were speaking of. Was it on Today? Never heard CC mentioned in the hoopla about the marathon that I can recall.

Her sentences (twitter or posts) are always flush with confidence in her importance. Her ego oozes out of every word. I think that is why we are always frustrated. She is so unaware of her banality.

I was talking to my daughter about how all these young kids (10-17 years old) tweet and follow Kate Gosselin, of all people. You'd think she wouldn't even be on the radar of people in that age group, right?
Daughter rolled her eyes and said "that's a game." I was like what? She said there are entire groups of kids who like to see which celebrities (doesn't matter how Z list they are, if they are now or were once a public figure, they count) they can get to respond to them and/or follow them on Twitter.
It's like some sort of bragging rights/prestige to say "So and So retweeted me" or "So and So REGULARLY answers my tweets."
She said there's a group of kids at her high school who talk about this at lunch a lot and they do target reality TV stars (or has-beens) because the more D list/Z list they are, the more likely they are to tweet back to you or retweet you AND then you could possibly glom on to other celebrities THEY follow.
She said the ultimate goal is to get a celebrity of any kind to follow YOU, but that's very difficult. Even a Z lister like Kate Gosselin doesn't really follow any of her followers unless they give her stuff.
She also said there are sites on the internet to help kids with this. She showed me this one called "Celebrity Tweet! Stalk Celebrities on Twitter!"

By reading that post, I think she truly thought TLC was going to raise those kids straight through to college. Looking back, I wonder if TLC had kinda started turning on her even then. I remember that episode being incoherent, a bunch of stuff all jumbled together, not much of a coherent story line that one could follow.

I'm kind of amazed, but I probably shouldn't be. All the more reason Kate needs to be careful, but won't.

Her tweets remind me of Annie Wilkes in the movie Misery - "I'm your number one fan".
I think CC is getting what they want from Kate. Media attention and blog hits. I don;t think they really care what she writes. Her blogs prove that. I'm sure they will milk her for as long as it is getting attention.
As far as her tweets. I think the haters keep her tweeter alive. Everyone loves an underdog. If people she her as a poor, organized, hard working single mom..then seeing her attacked on twitter only makes them want to stay on and defend and encourage her. Her fan base obviously does not see her as we do and nothing anyone says on a tweet is going to change that.
As far as Milo...I do think she is a lonely woman. Not someone in a mental institution she one time she did tweet a photo of her arm with a caterpillar on it. She sees herself as a giant martyr for kate's "haters". She also butts in to Kate's tweets to others, demands tweets to herself if kate replies to others and not her. ALWAYS brings up rumors for kate;s attention, demands personal information, comments on everything kate does, gets kinda bossy with kate's time, always gives her "advice", and stupidly defends things that are true but Milo swears are rumors.
Milo is truly an obsessed fan and kate telling her they are Friends doesn't help things. It so weird.. Milo never tweets about her own children but goes on and on about kates. This is a woman in her 50's! Why does she have such adulation fora 36 year old unremarkable woman? To me that is the kind of person to keep an eye on. What will Milo do if Kate stops giving in to her demands? I think kate keeps her on the hook because she does see this woman as a potential issue.
As far as her general THX for her gifts. IT;s beyond rude. how long would it have took to tweet Ellie - than you for XYZ. The kids loved their gifts. It was a generous act. Instead she does her harried "so busy, opening mail" crap. Umm here's a hint...if kate is so busy with all her free grifts maybe that should tell people she doesn't need more crap. I would love to see an article on Kate accepting gifts from tweens/teens and her attitude about it. Instead the media chatters about her blatherings on CC. Hope everyone has a great year. 2011 had been quite difficult for me. Due to a very serious, unplanned situation I am heavily in debt for the 1st time in my life. I couldn't even buy my sons gifts for Xmas. I'm scared, depressed and overwhelmed. I had to accept $ from my parents and they really need their money. My boyfriend had to drain his life savings. I had to use credit cards for the 1st time ever. My checking account is below zero. This left me feeling so useless and bothersome to everyone in my life.
Meanwhile, poor Kate who can't afford gymnastics was able to redo her deck and pool, go to Australia, Vegas, Chicago, New York, buy 2 cars, and obtain freebies for haircuts YEA!
It;s odd. people always worry about kate's finances because she had so many kids. Did they ever stop to think that her situation was actually cheaper than parents with 2 kids? Her house was remodeled for free, they were given a van, free diapers, free shoes, free clothes, free food, free juice, free childcare, free haircuts, free laundry help, free nurse, free hospital stay, free insurance thru medicaid, free carseats....the list goes on and on. What did they have to pay for? on top of it they were paid well for their reality show. how many familes can say having kids MADE them money.

EM, I am so sorry for your troubles. You seem like an awesome person. I understand what you're saying. Nobody ever calls Kate out on her BS or her abuse or her attitude or anything. But people do see it and they do know. I have mentioned her name to the most unlikely people to roll their eyes and saw "OH GAWD" but they do. She will fall and she will fail. It may not be public, but it will happen because she is not going to be able to sustain the lifestyle she thinks SHE (not her kids) deserves, and she is unwilling to lift a finger so far to provide for a lifestyle of any kind. Just keep moving forward and you'll walk further away from whatever has brought you grief, even if it's with baby steps. I wish you all the best in 2012 and beyond.

Yes..even thro life has thrown me a major curveball i still count my blessings. I consider myself richer than Bill Gates when it comes to love from my boyfriend and parents. I have had a pretty strange life. If I ticked off every issue i have survived thru it would take up a whole page. Maybe someday I will list it just so people can see that even thru hard times there are always things to be grateful for.
I guess my own personal story is what leads me to be so disgusted by Kate's. Her life has been an endless voyage of "gimme gimme gimme" and it's never enough. Kate Gosselin is a bottomless pit. NOTHING will ever fill the hole. On top of that she makes me think of the old saying "To whom much is given..much is expected"
It stuns me to think of the amount of help she has been given in life in contrast to what she has done to give back. She has the means to help others yet thinks a loaf of crappy bread she bitches about making makes her a great contributer.
I'm also stunned that she has not had to repay any public assistance back. My son's girlfriend received public assistance for 4 months for their daughter and my teenage son is obligated to pay every dime back. He makes monthly payments to the state.

Switching gears for a second, did anyone watch the Rose Bowl and/or parade? JR Martinez was the grand marshal. I've never seen a celeb more thrilled to be there. He was waving like crazy, loving every minute of it, this gigantic smile on his face. There's a celeb with real struggles, and a celeb who is really appreciating every moment of fame.

Kate's Reflections on 2011--If any truth to any of it, well--better late than never! If true, it goes without saying that, of course, she deserves accolades galore for simply being a normal human being. Unfortunately, she simply confirms all of the insights and criticisms that have been documented on this blog. I guess if you assume that, up until last year, the opposite applies, then her reflections on 2010 would look something like this:
My 11 Reflections on 2011--with commentary...
1. I learned that determination gives way to conquering any obstacle in my way

2. I learned that team work in a large family is he most beautiful thing to watch
(Katespeak: I love watching people do what I tell them)
3. I learned who my true friends are and was able to open up and meet new ones too!

4. ...Different views, lack of trust and family drama has stopped me from connecting in the past....

5. I learned that love truly conquers all.

I ran track and cross country for for three years what in the gym 2-4 days a week with a healthy diet my calf's are nothing but muscle.
KG might just want a reason to be away from the kids. "I'm running a marathon so I have to be away from my 8 I'm doing it from them".
Doesn't the LA Marathon require a qualifying time?
Last year it was really cold and people were dropping like flies from hypothermia. Marathons are, as we have said many times, no joke.
Someone else already touched on this and said it better, but there is something very unhealthy about going through life with a "no never means no" attitude.
That's not determination. That's stubbornness. And it's unattractive. You cannot ever learn and grow as a person if you don't ever allow yourself to back down sometimes, make a different choice, or listen to others who are suggesting a different way to think or do things.
Never give up is a mantra that has been misused by Kate. You SHOULD give up when what you are doing is wrong, misguided, hurts others, and so on. You SHOULD listen when people are trying to tell you what you are doing is wrong, is hurting others.

And taking care of myself makes me a better mom is a nice convenient justification for blowing all your children's money on yourself.
Could be that Kate comes from a long line of No Never Means No kind of people. Family drama? Different views? Yeah, a room full of bull headed people will have a lot of those. Last one standing wins, I guess.
I wonder if Kate can't trust any1 who in the world does she trust Steve if they both cheated with each other and if they are a couple.
For someone with trust issues her relationship with. Steve to me makes no sense to me
I hate to think how Kate will feel when her kids get older, most parents pick and chose their battles or so I've been told anyway. If no means no to her, she's in for quite a long haul to make sure she gets her way with her kids all the time.
I mean, I grew up fairly controlled as a kid and I am only now learning to cut lose and feel okay with it. Seems like Kate keeps her kids on short strings and I know what that is like.
Apparently, KT equates putting lipstick on and crossing the finish line with running a marathon. I will never believe that she ran that 26.2. I would have to see it with my own eyes from start to finish to believe it. She is not a runner, she is a person who sometimes runs and makes sure the entire world knows about it when she does. The more she mingles with the true runners the sooner she will be exposed. Running is no joke and should not be taken lightly.

You know, some people act like having trust issues is an endearing/good quality. I don't think it's endearing at all and makes you appear that you are hiding something. But she suuuure seems to trust celebrities she hasn't known for more than 5 minutes...has no problem trusting anybody who can get her tv time or a magazine article.

Kate really has backwards thinking on the important lessons in life. In the sky jump episode, how much more valuable would it have been to show the kids that there is no shame in recognizing your own limitations? Maybe make some small steps towards conquering fears?
It is healthy to respect your own instincts,--not a character flaw. Do you really want to teach young children to ignore their fears and feelings? It is called having boundaries! Exactly how and when are these kids ever going to learn healthy tools for interacting with others, such as compassion and empathy, maintaining privacy, using critical thinking and recognizing dangerous situations?

Hey now, she's got it tough you know. Sleeping in until mid-morning, making coffee, shuffling her feet on the tredmil, writing lists, running to the UPS store, Twittering, having to cook the kids dinner which you know, takes her all day, pretending to listen or have interest in her kids.

I don't know any mom who ever gets eight hours let alone 12. Heck I don't know any working women, women, adults, people in general who ever are able to get that much sleep. Does she know how annoying it is to hear about someone who is just sleeping their wife away while the rest of us mediocre keep the world running?
I keep thinking of that Dana Carvey sketch where he's talking about having kids and how his single friends would call him up and be like "Goddddd I slept until noon and I'm still tired! I just wanna go to Starbucks and get a frappuccino!" His expression is priceless.

Exactly. Let's take Bill Blankinship for example. How far do you take this no never means no crap? A no never means no person would, when they hear about Blankinship, think oh well I didn't know him no harm no foul, this is not my fault, how do I keep exploiting the kids? A person who is trying to learn and grow and is open to all kind of ideas, would say oh my goodness was there something *I* could have done to prevent this and what can we do next time differently, how can I find out what mistakes I made and what changes need to be made in this industry, and what can be done to find out more about this guy and what he did? Chef, I used to run too. Not fast, not too far (1-2 miles), 2 or 3 times a week. I was lean, not sickly thin, and my legs were beautifully muscular. So no, I don't believe Kate runs "5 miles a day, 5/6 days a week". Hell no, unless she has the world's worst genetic makeup. Btw, just so no one accuses me of bragging, I no longer run and wish I still had my runner's body. I don't know, once I had two, count em 2 kids, plus my job, I just couldn't find the time. Imagine that
The way the haters and sheeple go after each other on Twitter (both sides are bullies, acting like immature kids with the name-calling, harassment, and verbal attacks), it reminds me of the Jets and the Sharks. I don't know how it's possible to sleep that much. Did she say that she slept for 12 hours straight, or she got a total of 12 hours (napping, some time awake, going back to sleep)? There's something seriously wrong if you're that exhausted all of the time. I thought she considers herself so healthy and physically fit. If you need 12 hours of sleep, and are still exhausted, as she was yesterday, she needs to get a full physical exam (and end the dieting). She tweeted an hour ago that she's tired. Why? The kids are back in school.

She did say she was sick. But, guess what, even sick moms still have to get up and do what needs to be done. I too cannot imagine how anyone sleeps 12 hours, anyone with even the smallest responsibilities, sick or not. And I can't imagine even more bragging about it to a demographic you KNOW will never have that luxury.
You know how teens and young adults tend to sleep late, like 10, 11 am or later? I of course did what most teens did into the college years. When I got older and my clock shifted so that those sleep patterns were no longer what my body wanted to do, I started to be amazed at how much time sleeping late like that wasted. (And yet, a doctor will tell you to let your teen sleep) Those first few hours of the morning I've found to be very crucial. Doesn't Kate ever bemoan all this time she spends lounging around in bed?
I notice that I feel tired and sluggish when I don't have much going on. These past two weeks I was on a break from grad school and work, which was wonderful, but when there's no real schedule to keep I tend to feel lazy and bored. I think Kate needs something to do!

I've been knocked around so many time in life but I always survive. This time is different because it effects others. I am not comfortable needing help in the financial way. I have been supporting myself as a single mom of 2 boys since I was a teenager. Didn't even take public assistance. This has really hurt my self esteem. It's not anything I did personally to earn this debt so that makes it even crazier. Scary. I'll fill you guys in at some point so you can see how no matter what..you cannot plan for every circumstance. Seriously I am going to make a list someday of all I have lived thru just so I can read it and know I survived that and I will survive this. :) Im lucky to have been raised by parents who have always been there for me. I in turn do the same for my kids. When I think of how lucky I was to have such great parents who were sooo unselfish it makes me sad to think that the Gosselin 8 will never be put 1st in their mother's life. No matter how much Kate tries, she will never be able to put her kids need ahead of her own. It's not in her mental make-up. It must be hard for the kids to be left home alone so often, to have to be their mom's cheerleader instead of the other way around, to have to feel indebted to their mom for things THEY obtained for her etc. The whole dynamic is bizarre to say the least.
I mean..the woman puts her TWEETIES before her own kids needs it appears. I could be wrong but it sure seems that way. Her she is encouraging other tweens but I in all the years of the show ever saw her dedicate that much time building up her own children's self esteem.

Moms aren't allowed to get sick! I remember when all of my kids had the flu, the vomiting kind, and all I did was run around from bedroom to bedroom. I eventually ran out of clean sheets and they had to sleep on blankets, towels and mattress pads. Nobody slept on the floor, though! Then my husband got it as well. Then my mother came down with it. Everyone was sick at the same time. It was a mini-hospital at my house. Then I got it, but I had to keep going because there was nobody to take care of everyone else. Husband was moaning and groaning (men are such babies when they are sick), and all I wanted to do was pull the sheets up over my head and stay in bed for a few days. It didn't happen because I couldn't let it happen.
Kate has no idea what real moms do because she never has been one. If she's sick, the nannies take over. That's the only way she could have slept for twelve hours. And still she complains about being tired. Pathetic.
I tend to grow restless too unless I'm working or have things planned. On vacations I usually want two or three days of doing nothing. After that I'm ready to go back to work again. Which is nice because I get an incredible amount of rejuvenation from just a three day weekend. I'm not sure how Kate is content with this kind of, well, "do nothing all day" lifestyle.
She really his an incredibly lazy person with zero motivation.

It's just a matter of time before this nut shows up at Kate's gate, buzzing the buzzer to come to the door.
I think you do the following. Get off Twitter and stay off Twitter. All of Twitter. Stop responding to fan emails. Stop accepting gifts. Have a PR person do a form "response" to all emails with a PR photo or something. I.e. thank you for contacting us we appreciate your support. NOTHING personal. No personal contact with fans, period. All generic.
If obsessed fans persist with contact, you take a page from Gweneth Paltrow. You politely ask them to stop. And when they don't stop, you call the FBI.
Paltrow's still alive despite a complete NUTJOB of a stalker, and that's more than can be said for some celebs who had the same problem.
I think Kate would just love to have a serious stalker. Press!! Attention!! TV interviews!! Sympathy!! The View ladies telling her how strong she is!! I think she is sick enough to even want one of her children kidnapped or the like. Though I bet if it were one of the kids that had a stalker/obsessed dangerous fan she would be angry (probably at the child even) that the stalker didn't pick her.
The only thing security wise that Kate seems to have on her side is that her fanbase is tiny and twitter/internet fans' identities are pretty easy to find out.

I don't twitter, but I do read blogs etc. One of my guilt pleasures has been the RHO in any city. I was recently interested to read that one of the RHOBH has been viciously attacked by supporters of her ex-husbands new wife (a former child star) who's even gone to such lengths as inviting her hating tweeties over to spend time with the kids of the RHOBH.
At least Kate isn't inviting these dangerous people in in any physical sense ... yet!
I do not believe that Kate views this particular person as anyone to worry about.
I see it as Kate is getting her fix, the attention she wants. And until something drastic happens or prevents her from getting this fix, much like an alcoholic, she will continue teo associate with people on this semi-intimate friendship level as long as it gives her what she wants. She is not about the two-way street of friendship, she knows it and her sheeple fans accept it.
"Virtual" as she stated is just that. It gives Kate no actual contact with people so she feels that as long as "they" are behind their screens she feels no reason to be concerned and continue to spurt out whatever she feels like.
Come the day when someone goes that extra step only then she might realize her mistake. Well, actually, her first mistake was making her address so public. Her routine well known, kids routines and school. Big no-no I think.
But this is what she wanted: fame, attention and the good or bad that come with that. As long as she gets something out of it...her attitude is screw the rest who have more common sense then me. (Sorry if that seems out of line.)

I witnessed a real runner on a treadmill at the gym. He was running with a full head of steam without hands and was ducking and dodging and throwing punches as he was running. I couldn't keep my eyes off him. It was an awesome sight.
Since her show was cancelled, and she did an intial round of interviews on TV, what has she been up to?
Australia zoo trip- Out of county with minimal attention; LV Marathon - Riddled with controversy; CC blogs- All she talks about is herself and will probably be canned soon; Twitter- she fails miserably by accepting gifts/any gift from fans, rather than suggesting they donate to a charity in her name, all the while bragging about the gifts she bought her kids. Did I miss anything?
She really has become irrelevant to most, and I expect the LA run will be similiar. Perhaps 2012 will be the end of her thinking she is a star. End of 2011 did not fare well for her.
In other words she sat on her butt and let everyone around her do it all, until TLC decided she had to step and give them something NEW to work with for the show.
Oh my- forgot the upcoming LV CC Marketing Convention- I can not imagine she will add anything to that and that they are relying on her "popularity" to gain attention- good luck with that!

I agree. Kate has been "tired" since Day One, before the tups were even born, and did as little as possible after they were born. I think most(except a few chronic twitters and teens trying to establish "cred" by getting a reply) are done with Kate and her lazy antics. I remember Jon making and taking in to her a cup of coffee every morning before he left for work. I don't think that was something set up by the producer. I thought, yeah, that's sweet, but what mom stays in bed in the morning when you've got eight young children? I think she said she had to sleep until 8 every morning. So, babies had to lay in bed with soiled diapers? Cry if hungry? Toddlers get into mischief?
So to me, by saying how tired she is from all the work she does and raising those kids, is nothing more than a scam. I doubt she has been sighted at the bus stop for ages now. No photographer, no reason to be a mom. I guess those kids are lucky there is a nanny in their life.
An hour or two after Twittering & Twattering and I posted two of Milo's weird tweets and others commented on them...the tweets disappeared. I suppose that means Milo reads here.

A few months back, Kate (after pressure) conceded that Milo was like "family" to her. (Correct my memory if I'm wrong...I do believe the phrase was "extended family.") Does anyone remember this? Talk about feeding the beast of Milo's ego and obsessiveness!

That is the first thing I thought when Kate bragged about her patio and pool, comped I'm sure. That she sure is out of touch. I doubt most of her fanbase even has pools much less can afford a remodel, any remodel this year. It is insensitive to brag about such things, and she always does.
I knew a wealthy person once who was talking about the luxury remodeling of half of her house when her new baby was born. Then she laughingly told us about the "crisis" they had, when she realized she had planned an entire remodel without planning for a bathroom for the baby's room. Whoops!! Poor little rich girl! I mean really, what an eye roll story that was. You have to be aware of what your saying and how it sounds to the mediocre.

I remember Jon making and taking in to her a cup of coffee every morning before he left for work. I don't think that was something set up by the producer. I thought, yeah, that's sweet, but what mom stays in bed in the morning when you've got eight young children? I think she said she had to sleep until 8 every morning. So, babies had to lay in bed with soiled diapers? Cry if hungry? Toddlers get into mischief?
I don't think she was alone. Do you remember ALL the post it notes that were on the cabinets and fridge? I think those were for the volunteer helpers. I think Jon left for work at 7:30 a.m. and probably let the first few helpers in at 7:00 a.m. Just speculation on my part, but it seems to fit the facts.

Absolutely no Twitter. What about her blog, though, the one that is a joke, the one with "coming soon" but nothing ever comes soon? She has her contact info on there. That's where she is getting e-mails. There is no way that one person can mow that lawn, let alone a woman who has never done any outside landscaping maintenance. It requires at least two people to do it, with the proper equipment, weeding tools, etc. It's not a matter of jumping on a mower and riding around.
Been there, done that with a property that size. It requires a professional lawn service.

I grew up on acrage, my father hand-planted and cared for over three dozen trees and the lawn. I remember him standing out there for hours to make sure each tree got its full of water. In the hot sun, in wind. Used to do this after going to work at 6am, come home to grill dinner, water all those trees, work on his car, 1964 Studebaker and play with us kids. This month he will be 61 years old. To this day he still gets up and goes to the same job at 6am. Moved since then but he is still always out doing something. Hard work, building shelves, working on his car, planting a few trees and shoveling half our block of snow in winter before work.
Kate is just so darn lazy I think. Well, maybe it is to me because I have always viewed my father with pride I guess.

Kate is already crumbling. Someone upthread mentioned she could be depressed, hence the long hours of sleep she craves so much. It makes sense because she's been so used to having everything given to her and having things done her way for the last seven years, that now that it's over she's grieving. I think she's lazy too but she probably IS totally exhausted from trying to find new ways of being noticed...and she's realizing that making herself look good on her blogs doesn't cut it. She knows she might have to go back to a life of "mediocrity" and it's killing her. I don't feel sorry for her - my sympathies go to the 8 for having to put up with her mood swings. Yes she can mow. That whole property does not need to be mowed and there's a tractor that came with it. I take care of 10 acres, 2.5 of which I mow, the rest is woods, and I have an extensive garden. She calls the four day a week people "sitters" or "helpers", but I do not think they are nannies. They come in and get the kids off to school, then they do everything around the house for her like take care of the dog, dishes, cook, straighten up, run errands, food shopping, and pick the kids up. Plus, she has the "laundry girl" and the house cleaners. So basically, Khate does nothing except bark orders, sleep, and tweet.

Not everyone loves to mow. I enjoy planting hundreds of perennials and shrubbery, but I hate mowing. I once tried to mow six acres in the heat of July and August and I thought I was going to die. It has nothing to do with being lazy. Sometimes mowing needs to be done twice a week, plus the trimming around the fences, driveway, mulch beds, pool area. I'd never do it again, and this is one thing I don't blame Kate for - not one bit!
I grew up on 2 acres - 1/2 was woods/privacy.. this was before tractors were available for regular people- mainly just for businesses, etc. It is do-able, but she has to acutally do some work. Not ALL of the property needs to be mowed.
It amazes me how dense she really is. Most people, who have 8 kids, think long-term - they think of the needs of the kids such as clothing, medical care, schooling, food, etc. When the kids get older, especially the boys, the food bill will skyrocket. I'd love to see her try to give teenage boys lunch of an apple slice and 2 grapes.
Long term thinking also comes when buying a huge house on a big lot size. Not use the upkeep of the house, but also the maintanence of the lot - mowing, watering, etc.. Plus making the patio area and pool area look pristine, as I'm sure she needs to have. Property taxes alone are huge. Plowing that big driveway during REAL snowstorms, not a Halloween dusting needs to be in the plans too.
If she really thought that she could just cruise through life with 8 kids, count 'em, 8 kids, then she is the biggest fool on the planet. She HAD to know that the gravy train would end someday. The CC job is a joke. With all the flack they must be getting they may be getting ready to pull the plug. What about health insurance for the kids? For mediocre people with mediocre jobs, the cost of the deductibles/insurance payments is through the roof. And if she doesn't have insurance for EIGHT kids, but she has fancy cars, then she really doesn't have a brain in her head.
Does anyone think she may be bi-polar? Delusional, absolutely. Depressed, maybe. If she is sleeping 12 hours a day, she may be in a bi-polar depression, which could be dangerous foir the kids.
I think that her viewing nursing as a back-up plan is an insult to nurses! It's not like her local Starbucks is closed and her back-up plan would be a Caribou Coffee....nursing is dealing with peoples LIVES. There is no way at this point any doctor's office, clinic or hospital would want to hire her ass.
My neighbor is a wonderful man who retired after working 30+ years with the same company, now he works part time at a local coffee shop because he wants to, not because he has to. He loves the social interactions with the shop's "regulars" and waking up with something to do everyday. But hey, thats what us mediocre people do.....the shine on Kate's throne has dulled. Who wants her now.

I think what happened was that in the past TLC had everything planned down to the last nitty gritty detail (as in TLC masterminded the whole thing), and all you had to do was show up.
The RV trip, I think they didn't do as much as of the work as they normally do, and for once you had to actually DO some of the work instead of just implying that you did it. And, boy, did that piss you off!

I checked out the LV convention website. This conference is not glamorous or large; only 4600 people attended last year, not large as far as conventions go. The lectures are all about marketing, business. Real classroom type lectures from the looks of it. The people attending will probably be business people, normal, mediocre. This isn't glitz and glamour. Doubt there will be any media coverage at all; never saw news crews at my medical meetings and they had 20,000+ attendees plus celebs like Tony Bennett performing. She is not on the list of speakers (thank goodness). This sounds like the antithesis of a Hollywood get-together.
When Kate hired a cleaning lady at the old house the first go around, I thought Kate was terrible. Just imagine how she treats people today in that big ol' house of hers.
People clean for a living, I did it through high school...it isn't always fun but for some people it pays to put bread on the table and I don't think Kate treats anyone with respect. If she's such a clean freak she should do it herself and not harp on everyone else.

Anyone else think this story is fishy? How did the blogs find out about her husband keeping the news from her? Did a friend of hers or her husband share that news with the logging community? If so, why? They/he/she knew exactly which blog or blogs to go to with that information? It does not ring true for me at all. I tell my boyfriend a fair amount about the Gosselin blogs I read, but I doubt it's enough for him to seek out on his own and post on referencing my username, which I don't use for any of my other online stuff. I think she made the story up and posted it on the Gosselin blogs so she could look like the biggest fan to all the other sheeple.

Anyone else think this story is fishy? How did the blogs find out about her husband keeping the news from her? Did a friend of hers or her husband share that news with the logging community? If so, why? They/he/she knew exactly which blog or blogs to go to with that information? It does not ring true for me at all. I tell my boyfriend a fair amount about the Gosselin blogs I read, but I doubt it's enough for him to seek out on his own and post on referencing my username, which I don't use for any of my other online stuff. I think she made the story up and posted it on the Gosselin blogs so she could look like the biggest fan to all the other sheeple.

Said she had email from the husband and MiloandJack was seriously ill following an operation - it might have been a hip replacement but honestly, who knows. She's been posting on the pro-Kate blogs for quite awhile as Firedup4Kate.
Fired Up 4 Kate once said that (on Nina's radio show) that she KNOWS if she met Kate in real life that they'd be friends.

I thought it was Iwana who released this information because he was a cyber friend of FUFK. The sheeple knew she was in the hospital but hadn't heard from her and I guess they were worried. Word was put out that she didn't know about Kate's cancellation and her husband and the doctors thought it best not to tell her.

Well, first of all, Kate...are you phoning this in from New York...and, secondly, you don't even know the difference between exclamatory versus interrogative sentences, although most first-graders do. You apparently only learned about the exclamatory type in school.

What example does that set interrupting homework time to go tweet?
One of the other blogs is running a thread called "Kate violates the sanctity of Christmas Eve Mass & the privacy of the worshipers behind her", and mentions Mass in each of the paragraphs. Credibility issue. Kate is not Roman Catholic. Kate is not an Episcopalian. The church which she attends (occasionally) does not hold Mass. It was a Christmas Eve candlelight service.
And yes, she did violate the sanctity of the service.
Regarding the conference, that sure sounds like something a lot of people would be pretty bored with unless this area really interests you. Kate is of course no exception. She probably doesn't even know what affiliates are. My bet is she will fake a headache that can only be cured by a really good buffet.

A lot of Catholics don't realize that most other denominations don't ever call a church service mass. Simple mistake. Kate violates the sanctity of services (not Mass) is a post I have in the can. I am also comparing it to a clip of Sister Wives, where one of teens with far more sense than all the adults on that show put together, refuses to go to church because it is being filmed and God wouldn't want that.

I can't see any hardworking mother who is either a SAHM busting butt without ever having a nanny (the person raising your children is a NANNY Kate not some hired helper, show her some respect by calling her what she is--would you like to be called a NURSE or just a helper?
