I don't even like cruises but at least I knew what I was signing up for when I tried one. This is unbelievable.
Anonymous not true I have not done everything. I haven't run a marathon, swam the English Channel and also I haven't picked my nose until it bled. But I do have those scheduled for this year.
Once I check those off my list yes I've done everything. I can't speak for Dallas Lady whether she has done those things.

I am doubting any of the kids will make the cruise. Last chance ditch effort for Kate to spend some sexy alone time with Steve. The kids and a nanny would be in the way.
Also, Kate is ignoring all her fans the past few days since she doesn't have the kids and doesn't need them to escape the hell of being around them, so they drop by here.
You know I can't help it I often do feel sorry for her sheeple. I think they must be stay at home moms or other shut ins on low incomes, likely people of low intelligence and low confidence who feel like they will never get to do what Kate has done. I feel like Kate toys with vulnerable people. If they think the people here have "done it all" when frankly I've never seen anyone here including myself talk about anything more than a "mediocre" life (though usually happy and fulfilling), no offense!.....then that's just sad.
Sheep, take a deep breath and walk out your door. Talk to people. Maybe pursue more education or even just a night class somewhere. Or just read. Self-educate yourself. You can do this for free with a library card and google. Take an interest in the world and others and be open to opportunities and you'll be surprised the opportunities that will come your way just like that.

Admin, please don't lump stay-at-home-moms in with "other shut ins" and people of low intelligence, income, and confidence. It's insulting to those of us SAHMs who are highly educated, had successful careers, then made a conscious choice to stay at home while our children are young.

In other news, I'm trying to think what Kate's record is for being off twitter. I know it can't be any longer an 2-3 days. Sheeple saw the Gosselins as the perfect family, in the beginning. Even though Kate was a bitch, a husband abuser, a grifter etc., theses are the traits that these women wish they could do. Perhaps , their husbands or partners are the boss, these women don't have the grifting gene. So when Jon findly got tired of the shit Kate was doing, he according to the sheeple ruined the perfect family. That is why they hate Jon. This left Kate as full boss, according to Kate and sheeple. This made the sheeple, all the more jealous, cause Kate was doing everything they wish they could. But can't because of: being married, no money, and have to work, can't spend like Kate can, get pampered, get instant attention, etc. It comes down to the phrase: well she has and gets to do this & that, why can't I? The weeks were in her mention feed around 11 pm to midnight central time last night. Gypsi and Nicky (who are going on the cruise) had just discovered Ziggy was tracking them on the Internet, something about google searches and screenshots, I didn't get the whole story. Gypsi and Nicky were talking nicely back and forth with 2-3 Kate haters and getting along well with them, sharing their shock and sadness over ziggy cyberstalking them for what they assumed were malicious purposes.
Then I fell asleep. Ha! Sorry. What an anticlimactic ending. Regardless, I get the sense there's a definite dividing line now between the few fans going on the cruise and the other fans who are not and cannot.

I'm trying to catch up on that this am, but I can't figure out what those screen shots prove. And I don't get the stalking reference, either. You can read other's tweets by going to their timeline. But Zig was stalking through Google?? I'm totally lost. Do you understand it, Dallas?
It's funny because Jon tweets when he doesn't have the kids (and even then it's pretty rare). When he's silent on twitter you can pretty much assume he does have the kids and is spending every waking moment with them.
Kate tweets frantically while the kids are home with her. When she's silent, you know that the kids are gone.
Here's something Kate's sheeple can do while they wait for their queen to get back to twitting: they can compute how much time Kate ACTUALLY spends with her kids. She may have them living in the big house with her, but I will guarantee that minute for minute Jon spends more face to face time with the 8 than Kate ever does each week. Kate's face is desperately pointed to her phone screen waiting for the next 'ping' while she pushes the kids out of her way throughout the day.

It just continues to astound me the way this cruise thing is trying to sell it by playing hide the ball. Wtf.
Maybe that's how things used to sell but most Americans these days want to know everything they are getting and all the hidden fees and catches before they commit. You sell more and gain more good faith when you are honest with your customers. I don't understand why someone who I presume must have a marketing degree or business degree doesn't understand this very basic tenet.
Look at intrepidtravel.com. A tour group thing. Each trip has about TEN PAGES of "trip notes" in the PDF which is all the fine print. It includes exactly what meals, hotel, and transportation is included and exactly what is not included. It lists all the activities that are not included, as well as all the prices for activities not included. It gives you all the tips expected and how much, it tells you what is required to get yourself to the start of the tour and how much it will probably cost, they cover every last detail so you know exactly where every last dime will go. Oh, and they even tell you how much travel insurance is! I would book with them any day of the year and fork over the money because I KNOW WHAT I'M GETTING.
People will pay MORE for a trip if they know exactly what they're getting for it. This company is wildly successful and makes $129 million a YEAR based on honesty alone. Honesty sells.

I saw it, too. Insomnia. It was interesting. The BIG THREE fans have been outed, and when it was discovered that they are not only stalking non-fans, but fans, it hit the FAN! We have discussed so often that the real danger to Kate is not with the haters, but with the fans. Kate, for pete's sakes, if you read here, PLEASE know what these people are capable of.
You could tell by the tone of the tweets that Nickie was really, really upset and concerned, and Gypsi didn't know what to make of the whole thing. They said that they wouldn't have believed it if they were told about this, but because they saw it with their own eyes, it was proof.
Maybe if she would just drop Kate from her tweets . . .
One who said she was pulling out is Nickie. Since I don't do Twitter, I am not precisely sure of how this works. But apparently, Z was saving on Google somewhere ALL of the tweets for a number of people--fans and "haters" alike. She was also pulling information like pictures. I don't know what the objective is, or whether it's just a record of google searches that ends up looking like it's been "compiled" as opposed to just being a record. Anyway, Nickie was totally skeeved, urgently DM'd milo, I don't think milo "got it," then some of the non-fans started explaining. I dropped out well before the end, but I saw where Nickie said she was going to cancel. Gypsi was still on the fence, this morning doesn't seem to be thinking it's so serious. Z did jump in at some point during the debate and claimed that the haters had "set her up." When confronted with the proof (and I don't believe this was any sort of set-up by anyone), she refused to look at it ("I won't click on any haters' links!").
All in all, some very strange stuff. If it does end up impacting the cruise, that to me would ring all sorts of alarm bells. Kate should take her Twitter private, she really doesn't realize how crazy--and sometimes maliciously so--some of her fans are.

About the stores on a cruise ship...they are expensive. The markup is ridiculous. And they also stick it to you on the drinks. Just wait until you settle up your bill before you disembark. It's so easy to lose track of what you have spent since all you have to do is charge it to your room. Ouch!
TLC - from what I could gather, it wasn't only one fan who was doing this, but three fans who had assembled pages and pages and pages of photos (I think 50 something) of both fans and non-fans in addition to pictures of Kate, Jon (high school photos) and the kids. One of those is going on the cruise. It is addictive/compulsive/obsessive behavior.
Well, I read on BM's site a Z post that she has been busy setting up a new site. Perhaps the info she has been gathering is for that? Imagine, posting people's pictures!

Re what the point of the "stalking" is, apparently all of these people who tweet Kate and each other are arranged on something called a "twitwheel" (I know, ridiculous, right?). Then it shows linkages between the various people. So even when Kate is not included in someone's tweet, it tracks who is tweeting whom and can call up what has been said.
All I can figure is that this is Z's way of fulfilling her self-proclaimed role as Kate's "protector," by checking what everyone is saying to each other when they are not cc'ing Kate and thereby attempting to identify those who are not true believers. And then, I suppose, "outing" them to Kate. Maybe Z is just looking for gold stars from the Kateinator, I dunno.
If there is some other purpose, I have no idea what it could be. I don't think it is collecting information for the purpose of identity theft or anything actually criminal. Still, it is way more than just "creepy," and reinforces for me the common sense behind just not putting yourself out there in any way that might risk something you don't want to risk.

Where I grew up, if someone died, there was always someone at that house during the funeral because of the obit in the paper. It was public knowledge that the family, obviously would not be home. So someone would stay in the house just in case.

I clicked on one of the links last night (went to something called twitter cnuts), but didn't pursue from there because I was afraid of catching something. Z actually had a note on her blog (because someone did this sort of search on CJ a few days ago, and it brought up all kinds of links to the research she has done on "haters") to the effect that this gets saved on google automatically IF you are logged into google when you perform the searches. Or at least that's how I read it. I am not really up-to-date on much of this. I never log on to google myself even though I use Chrome as my browser.
Anyway . . . we live in interesting times, don't we?

Okay, I've been a bit out of the loop for a while, but did BM really cross over from the dark side?????? Can anyone give the Reader's Digest condensed version of her conversion? Baby Mama a Kate hater. Never thought I'd see all those words in the same sentence. And the herd continues to thin.....
It's actually pretty easy to "stalk" people on the internet if they use Twitter, Facebook, Flickr or other social media (or comment under recognizable "handles").
It is also easy to "stalk" them in other ways, but social media makes it especially simple.
Unless users take extraordinary precautions, and understand what they are doing, all it takes is patience and persistence. You'd be surprised how relatively easy it is to follow the trails.
This is one reason why as soon as there is some kind of tragedy like an arrest, a fire, a crime, or an accident, the tabloids and other media are able to grab pictures off sites and publish them, long before family members can react and pull the pictures.
It is also how crimes get prosecuted based on information on social media sites.
I've only done this kind of search to see how it works in practice (related to work in a technology field), but the sheer amount of stuff you can turn up when unsophisticated users are involved is just amazing.
The people who are doing this to collect and post personal information in public spaces are antisocial and disturbed. At least those who may be going on a cruise with them are getting fair warning.
Spending this kind of energy to "out" what are essentially private citizens is a red flag that something is truly wrong with these people.
Kate is beyond stupid to be involved in any of this. She has NO idea.

If you google your twitter handle it shows who you follow, who follows you, things you've commented on, etc. I think the gals on twitter are making this look like people are stalking others. But really, how would you know what another twitter user is doing unless you are searching them out?
No, no, BM's not a hater. She still posts stuff about Kate on her site, but it's now very intermittent and kind of half-assed. Like posting a "story" 5-6 days after it's been in the press. The most recent blog on her site has been up for 9 days and has 15 comments. Not exactly setting the world on fire.
The kids look like they are freezing. The same little separated tubs they always get. I thought picnics were fried chicken, potato salad, baked beans and cole slaw.

In all seriousness though, it's hard to be a SAHM, we don't have the daily socialization through work like working moms, we don't have a salary; we go to spouse's office parties, when we are spoken to, the first line is "So what do you do?" and when I respond (the sahm spiel), their eyes glaze over, and they quickly retreat to more interesting people. I have learned to spend a lot of time in the restroom avoiding most of the party time. (Mind you, I am educated, but for a multitude of reasons, I never used my degree in a working environment).SAHM's for the most part, are seen as boring and lazy. I might be boring, but I have never been lazy...at one time I had 4 kids under six, with one of those husbands that thought this parenting responsibility ended with conception.

It is cold and windy. I mean really windy. It was 73 yesterday. Now it's 49 with a windchill of 41. What was she thinking? I'd never take kids outside for a picnic today. Why not wait until Saturday, Sunday or Monday when it's supposed to be in the high 60s, low 70s? She certainly doesn't plan ahead, does she?
I wonder if Jon is taking the kids more often, but in smaller groups...He said at one point that he had his little boys, and now the tups are on a picnic, but the twins are not in the picture. Maybe they are with him. If so, I think it's a great thing. He can have more one-on-one time with each of them, and plan activities for their gender/age groups. Lots more fun for the kids. That would also explain why Kate seems to have them so much. She talks about the kids being home, and everyone wonders when Jon gets to see them. But some of them may be with him at any given time, and she doesn't mention that. Either way, this can only be good for the kids. Yay

Anon is probably in middle school. Honey, get busy with school band, or play soccer, or go to your church youth group, or something to get you out of the house and away from the TV and computer. Younger dd has been accepted at 5 of 6 universities she applied to, and her involvement in activities really helped her applications the admissions folks told us.

I don't think panic ensued. That park looked so dead a tumble weed just rolled by. Probably because other mommies and daddies said no honeys too cold today.
This strikes me as procrastination. Better do what I said I would before the kids get shipped off to Jon's. Where are the twins and who is watching them?
Layla, it's Friday. Jon's at work, so I doubt he has the kids until at earliest this afternoon. The twins are probably at a friends or maybe they didn't feel like going. Not all my kids feel like going to park when everyone else does and as long as someone's home to watch them (high school age big brother, grandma, dad, etc.) or their old enough to watch themselves (about 12-13 in our house), I don't make them go.
I don't think I mind Kate mentioning things she's done with her kids (e.g. Kids and I went on a picnic today. It was so much fun!) in the same way I don't mind if Jon talks about things he has done with the kids (notice the past tense). That's a very normal parent thing to do because our kids are a big part of our lives.
It's the fact that she has to document it with pictures the moment it's happening. That just reeks of looking for approval and validation, a "See what a good mom I am! I said I was going to do this and I did!" and that just comes off as fake. I really wish she could find something else to discuss other than her kids. Heck, I'll even take her talking about running and food.
Regarding the twitter stalking - First off, this Ziggy sounds like a nut case and frankly probably has very little actual information about anyone. Rule of thumb - if you don't want people to invade your privacy, don't document it on the internet every single minute!

I don't do any of that stuff either; had accounts but I've deactivated them. Facebook finally got me when I got an an email from them asking if knew So And So and did I want to be friends with them. (From facebook, not so and so). Anyway, the ONLY way they could have got so and so's name was to actually go through my EMAIL. This is a person who I know slightly, had exchanged one or two emails with, and that's it. He is not, and was not, in my contacts, nor had we interacted on facebook.
That was it. I changed all my info, my name, the email I had on file with them, and dumped the account. They probably still spy on me, the bastards.

I have a twitter account. Have never, ever used it. Not to twit or follow. I keep the account for a specific reason, but it is now private. Within 5 minutes of setting it up I had 10 followers. I had no idea who any of them were. I blocked them, but, intrigued, left the account open, just to see if more "followers" would accumulate - got up to 100 within a week before I marked the account private. Been a ghosttown ever since. Just odd some people find the number of followers some kind of affirmation of their existence. Twitter's inception as a business tool for businesses to communicate with employees for short, quick message made sense. Like Facebook, it has gotten out of hand. I don't "do" facebook either. We still have a land line phone and a fax machine :) in addition to our smartphones.
I too wondered about her "picnic" I'm one state West and her weather is like 6-8 hours after it passes here (usually) it's frikkin' freezing with high wind gusts. Clearly, she has "help" is she is able to get in a quick run...one CAN choke on a grape. I'll leave her incredibly outrageous lack of nutrition understanding until later.

Someone above asked about cruise numbers. Again, relying only on Twitter, I don't put it at more than 10-12 signed up for Kate activities--if you count the people who are accompanying them, I am guessing maybe 30 bodies total. There are about 3-4 "hot" prospects who have been on the fence for a while (including milo), but who've not yet confirmed. Based on how hard Cindy has been flogging since the beginning of the week, I am starting to think this might not happen at all. Sure am glad I'm not the one who will have to break the bad news to Her Heinous if they don't recruit enough passengers.

I've been away for a week and am just catching up on Gosselin news.
So Kate did an interview, and talked about very private moments with the twins. Yet, she doesn't talk about her private moments as a teenager-or anything really personal about herself.
It's just the same old Kate--it's okay to talk about her children, but she will not talk(at least honestly) about herself.
And the scary thing is that she sees nothing wrong with that. She says other "stars" talk about their children, and post their childrens' pictures--but those children were not part of a reality series--their names are not known by the general public. Kate's fans not only consider her children as family-they want pictures, updates,etc. They demand to know what is going on in the children's lives. They want videos of the kids, etc.
Yet, Kate sees nothing wrong with that, and is happy to oblige. She knows it is the kids that keep her relevant-and she will keep using them and talking about them-because she realizes that without them she is nothing but a former reality star who is out of a job.

It's amazing how people will take something out of context and run with it. Amdin is not insulting mentally-challenged or physically challenged people. Go back and read the conversation from the beginning- she was apologizing to SAHM's, and that is when her words were twisted and taken out of context form the original post - put back in where it belongs and no one is being insulted. She said Kate uses preys on those people. It's not that difficult to follow.
Kate is very often mistaken for octomom, and I once heard her mistaken for Momma Duggar- LOL, she's just some mom who bred a ton of kids in many people's eyes.

Someone on RWA said CJ (the one who spies) is nothing compared to Ziggy from Realziggyflo.
PimpMyKids from Twitter started digging around. What Ziggy was doing is legal, I guess, but completely creepy. She was saving everyone's pictures, she was using every Twitter program known to mankind to stalk not only every tweet, but every conversation.
Ziggy always calims to be hands-off on Twitter, above it all, but from the hundreds & hundreds of google hits on her name, she used evey tool she could find to collect evrything she could find on people, including fans.
Here's the rub. What Ziggy did is creepy & probably legal, since she was just gathering public information in a very creepy way.
But when PimpMyKids notified the fans that their "friend" was stalking every conversation & storing every picture, Ziggy accused PimpMyKids of planting all that information on google (it goes back years, so not buying it) and since a lot of the stuff is Twitter related, in a round-about way she's accusing PimpMyKids of hacking into her Twitter account. It's well known that Ziggy HATES pimpmykids & has been stalking her from the beginning.
I'm no expert, but accusing someone of being a hacker & planting false information on google doesn't sound too smart. But then, Ziggy isn't known for her IQ.
PimpMyKids said she has dozens of screenshots of Ziggy's activity, meanwhile Ziggy was furiously deleting everything she could.
Pimp was having trouble trying to upload the pictures onto twitter, but from what I hear, she will have them all up by morning.
Ziggy will continue to deny it all, but from the little bit I could make out of the screenshots today, Ziggy's name is all over it.
It should be interesting tmrw. The question is, will the sheep believe any of it? They are a hard-headed, fairly stupid bunch.

I'm not going to comment on that particular sheeple except to say karma. The only thing I ever cared about the many lies she perpetrated about me was the accusation I begged for money. (How karmically wonderful--just like Kate did with the kids.) Kate has pretty much shown that she is incapable of any kind of a selfless love. If there ever was a sexual relationship, it was because either she thought she could get something else from him, or, she just wanted to stick it to Gina. Marriages are complicated--not going to even try to figure out Gina and Steve with virtually no public information out there. It is pretty clear that Steve and Kate are not currently together--she is tweeting way too often for that to be the case.
When Jon and Kate separated, it was as a consequence of Jon being exposed by a paparazzi from US magazine. US magazine relentlessly stayed on that story, and the news coverage was continual as he was caught with a string of 23 year old women, which was picked up nationally. At that time, we know that Kate was in contention for a panel co-host TV show with Paula Deen, a line of children's clothing for Health Tex, which were in production and a cookbook was about to be published by Zondervan, a Christian publishing house--it is reasonable to assume that there were other offers and opportunities under consideration (remember, she said she had been asked about DWTS for a previous season). Whether she knew about it or not, it was a humiliation that her husband's affair with young women were made public. Kate is, first and foremost, a narcissist-- she decided that she could save face and her 'brand' and the same time, if she dumped Jon. In doing so, she made the critical error of vastly underestimating the value of the couple-ship in the mythology that was J&K+8--a bickering, but loving parents of 8 young kids living a hectic life enriched by their faith--while overestimating her value as a stand-alone personality. TLC pressured her to divorce, because, as a business decision, there really was no other option.
As we know, the Paula Deen show, clothing line and cookbook deals evaporated, as all of them backed off of the controversy and drama surrounding Jon and Kate.
So, just to get the timeline straight, Jon's extracurricular activities started well before the separation and the end of the marriage--not after the divorce. Anyone who is the star of a popular television show that is seen publicly flirting with a young woman, deserves to suffer the consequences. And, before everyone jumps on me---Jon has pretty much said the same thing.
I have posted that I think Jon has been a great father and that his immaturity was no match for Kate's relentless drive for fame and fortune. Did he have reason for cheating? Yes, he undeniably did. Did he have a responsibility to protect their family by handling interpersonal conflicts behind closed doors? Yes, he undeniably did. Clearly, Jon is a terrific, loving and consistent presence for the G8. I think most of us sincerely wish him luck in pursuing a career in entertainment, as long as it allows him to remain a steady presence in his children's lives and safeguards their privacy. But, please--I don't have the stomach for a Divorced Dads Clubs!
BTW, people who think that wives 'must be' aware of cheating husbands, have never had the heartache and misfortune of being in love with a compulsive liar. Hindsight is always 20/20.

I didn't go on picnics as a kid growing up so I can't say it's an experience I miss or find necessary but that's a personal opinion since I never did it. But, the thing if you're going to take your kids to the park to play...it might help if yo did it on days the weather was good and there were some actual kids there.
Ever notice that on the old shows they filmed whenever they went to a park it was empty? It was as if it was shut down for just them. Brings back memories of them filming their first day of preschool...I didn't see any kids except them. They went to stores it was shut down.

Watch, some teenage years when they interest in shopping, "Why don't we get to shop by ourselves like we used to?" "Why don't we still have servants like you promised?" i don't think there is ever a justification for cheating on a spouse...even if the the spouse is cheating. either work it out or divorce but cheating is never justified imo.
Kate believes in cold air- for others. She mentioned she had on her pink UnderArmor benenath her clothes today. (was it a grift along w/ the socks??) The treatment for flu was cold air, and then she had Cara jump in the freezing pool to test the new slide for the tups' b-day, then made them stay in the cold water too...the last party and the bouncy house one both were held on cool days with rain iirc?

Especially the part about TLC pressured her because there was no other option. That jives with what she said about they were at Bald Head, and she realized there was no choice but to divorce. She realized then it was either divorce or TLC would drop the show all together. And she couldn't have that, for lots of reasons.
I think she wanted the bird in her hand AND the bird in the bush. She didn't want to divorce exactly, but was enamored of Steve. And enamored with fame, thought dumpy Jon would hold her back. Not realizing that the public was enamored with Jon and the kids, not her.
