Turns out who should see this tweet but Melissa Ziegler, devoted mommy of dancers Mackenzie, and Maddie, who is usually at the top of the (fake) pyramid. Oh, and, oops! Melissa is from Kate's area and was a big fan who used to defend Kate. That is until Kate picked a fight. Today Melissa tweeted the following back to Kate:

I'm just now catching up with the news of the day. What kind of relationship does Cindy and CJ have? Does Cindy know CJ's reputation and her recent melt-down? Has Cindy employed CJ as an undercover assistant/agent? How totally screwed up is this? I would NEVER book a cruise with this agency or deal with this Cindy agent even if the trip were free.

While it certainly appeared that Jon was publicly cheating on Kate, at least emotionally, and it certainly was going to be something TLC was not going to tolerate cuz it would ruin the brand of a happily married Christian couple, it also appears that Kate cheated (at least emotionally) on him first.
Not that that's any excuse. He should have held his head high and done what he needed to do, while upholding the families honor.
As it is, they have both dragged the family name thru the mud. More than once. And their actions during that time did nothing to do well by the kids.
It just pisses me off that she acts liked the wronged little wife, the poor innocent victim, when she abandoned the marriage first, by quite a bit of time.
No, he shouldn't have been hanging out with other women, wrong, wrong, wrong, but she shouldn't have emotionally ditched Jon and hitched her wagon to Steve. And she did that BEFORE Jon started catting around.
IMO she abandoned the marriage, at least emotionally, long before Jon did. So stop acting like the wife who was cheated on. She cheated first.

Mel & Ex-nurse: I also believe that TLC, pumped Kate full of promises of fame & fortune. Something to the effect: Kate, we can make you a star, we can get you on other TV shows, we can get you anything you want, just get Jon to sign on, and if he don't, GET RID OF HIM. We will play the pity roll, the poor divorce mom of 8 roll, people will flock to your side, we will beat Jon to the ground, and if he strikes back, we have the funds to shut him down. And that is exactly what TLC did. But, what TLC fail to do, was built Kates good girl image, what they did was let her do what she wanted, and not check her, (made a monster), that is why purseboy was hired. I also think Kate made up stuff about her and purseboy to make Jon jealous, so he would go her way. Kate did blow every chance, that was given her. Kate could have ended up as Americas sweet heart mom with a cheating husband and people would have flocked to her defense. But Kate being a total asshole, wanted things and people to do it her way, her weird idea of what famous people live & do. A clothing line, a cookbook, a runner manual, raising kids, doing stuff with kids, managing a house, etc. Not for fame chasing Kate. All dumped in her lap, and Kate brushed them away, they were not good enough. Nothing will ever be for Kate.

Kimmie, It is my opinion. As admin said on an earlier post-- prove me wrong, if you disagree. Just saying "how do you know" this and that doesn't add to the conversation. Present your ideas, supporting or opposing--for example start a sentence like this: "Ex Nurse, I disagreed with what you said, because......... Maybe some of us will listen with respect and respond in a positive way.
As far as calling me on my earlier statement about cheating husbands, I will rephrase it to make it clearer: While Jon most likely had his reasons (in his mind), that does not excuse him from breaking his vows (in my mind). I feel the same way way about it now as when I said it the first time.

Scripted or not these kids are obviously all very good dancers and have been doing this for years. The moms and dads have paid thousands of dollars for the lessons, why not get some money back by being on a reality show? And some national exposure for their dancing? We are not subjected to all aspects of their lives, just this small portion. As another poster commented, we are not being shown their home and private lives and all the details about them. The moms are really just moms. They are sitting there for hours on end for their kids, traveling all over the country for competitions and making all the outfits. Seriously, why not get paid to do a tv show? Obviously Abby Lee is a piece of work, but her methods seem to have results, the kids are GOOD dancers. What has Kate accomplished? She took in-vetro drugs and managed to push out 8 kids and then exploited the living hell out of them and cashed in. SHE wants to be a star. Plastic surgery, traveling all over the world while others watch her kids and driving her husband away. Yep, you are a stellar mom and human being, Kate!
