After the event, Kate got into a bonafide twitter war with a Philadelphia photographer who was there. Here is some of the embarrassing debacle:

Regarding the kids having to stay home for their vacation: I think it is GREAT! The kids have busy, tiring weeks during school. The generally have had very little down time in the last few years. Calling official BS on the comped dresses. No designer in his/her right mind would comp a 37 yr. old a dress designed for teenagers.
It's evident that Kate shops in the junior, prom and homecoming departments because she doesn't think age appropriate dresses properly show off all her surgical enhancements.
The price of the dress was outted so she had to imply it was comped to save face for the staycation and shared 3-D glasses.

Great smackdowns from this guy! Kate has really outdone herself today. She's about to be cut loose completely from TLC and her last little tether to the entertainment industry and what does she do? Starts alienating the press, the one group that could possibly help her.
People wonder why she just doesn't fess up about her affair with Steve. Well, to do so would put an end to her being able to cry poor pitiful me, single mom blah, blah, blah. Also wouldn't be able to grift as much. Plus she would finally be outed as the lying husband stealer she really is.
If Kate were telling the truth, she would not need to be defensive. Only time I see people get defensive is when their lying and they are trying to convince you of that lie. If you are telling the true...generally you don't have to get all hot and bothered when people write about you.
She would have nothing to worry about if in fact she and Steve are just friends. But when is the last time you heard of celebrities being friends with their bodyguards? Do other celebs invite them on their family trips? Maybe, I don't know, do other celebs invite their bodyguards to their homes for holidays? I don't think so.
If Kate says he's lying then she really should have nothing to worry about. She's defensive because she knows what she saying isn't true.
Least that's how I look at things.

This has been extremely entertaining. Kate's just as stupid and nasty as everyone thought. She just confirms it again and again. She shot herself in the foot by continuing to be nasty to the photographer. He had a few moments of feeling pity for her, thanks to the more rabid haters on Twitter, but then apparently her fans attacked him and worst of all, SHE kept attacking him and wouldn't just shut up or write him privately as he requested.
So she even blew that moment of sympathy he had for her, after being so nasty to him last night. Geez, you can't make this stuff up.

It's all very simple, yet I know it's a fact that the sheeple don't understand. If the reporter has a legitimate photo of Kate doing something she would rather not be made public, then oh well. She shouldn't have done whatever it is in public. He has a legal right to sell it. If he says something on his show tomorrow that is untrue, she has a right to pursue him legally. She calls everything negative that is said about her lies, yet she's never publicly come out and said she successfully sued anyone for libel or slander. When the real celebs win those cases, they make it super public- as they would like to clear their name.
The sheeple seem to think that saying anything negative about their kween is illegal. It is not, repeat, it is not. Until Kate wins a libel or slander suit, I'll tend to believe Kate is lying. She's gotten a be-a- bitch-for-free-pass too long. It's nice to see it's finally being revoked.

EXACTLY what I was thinking! She hangs on every word, she always has! That is one of the reasons Jon had so to provide so much of the baby care, she was on the computer reading about herself and couldnt be bothered with her babies.
This photographer is bringing up another issue relating to Jon. We don't know what the PR firm has in mind for him but I hope they are not going to try and book him for events etc until they do some damage control.
Although he did make bad decisions when he left Kate she has been allowed to bad mouth him for a long time with no comments from him. The guy on twitter calling him a pig shows that people still don't get it. They are going by Kate's version of everything.
According to her it looks like he was cheating on her way before the marriage broke up, he wasn't paying child support, he wasn't seeing his kids and the list goes on. I think he will get the same negative response he got years ago if he tries to do events. The first thing he needs to do is set the record straight. I don't think he should go on all kinds of talk shows but if he could get one interview with a credible host that would give him the chance to set the record straight that would help. There is a way for him to explain things and not come across in a negative way.
If he doesn't explain how he was paying child support and what really happened to end their marriage and that he was limited on the time he could spend with the kids he doesn't stand a chance.
Does he owe us an explanation of these things? Absolutely not. However, what Kate has done to him over time is disgusting and he has to stand up for himself.
I'm not into twittering but if I was I would be curious why that photographer made that statement about Jon and then set him straight.
Oh, and what have we here? Someone is feeling very "charitable" today. Or was it just the possibility of free riding that piqued our heroine's interest? And why didn't the "agent" get in touch? No $$$ attached?

If Kate were telling the truth, she would not need to be defensive. Only time I see people get defensive is when their lying and they are trying to convince you of that lie. If you are telling the true...generally you don't have to get all hot and bothered when people write about you.
She would have nothing to worry about if in fact she and Steve are just friends. But when is the last time you heard of celebrities being friends with their bodyguards? Do other celebs invite them on their family trips? Maybe, I don't know, do other celebs invite their bodyguards to their homes for holidays? I don't think so.

Kate's never learned how to handle the press. Steve is always there to do it for her. When you're nice to the media, they generally reciprocate. Most celebrities know that and have a good rapport with the media because they treat them as they want to be treated.
Kate has never figured that out simply because she's not a nice person. I think she's very insecure, and also paranoid. She knows that she has a negative reputation and she becomes witchy (and bitchy) and defensive.
You know, I think it was a good decision to go pick up the carryout food prior to kids being home - Chinese food microwaves well (in my experience), and you don't have to worry about leaving kids unattended anywhere.
And the restaurant is probably giving 2 liter bottles of soda - like some of the pizza places do. (not fountain cups full of soda that will go flat)
She gives so many good moments to snark & criticize, I don't think this is one that needs to be ripped apart.

Kate's never learned how to handle the press. Steve is always there to do it for her. When you're nice to the media, they generally reciprocate. Most celebrities know that and have a good rapport with the media because they treat them as they want to be treated.

This is so true. My actor friend who was on Lost approaches the paparazzi at events and talks to them. He knows their names, he even tried to give his extra ticket to a premiere once to his press budy but the photog says he was banned from that theater, lol! I've never seen a single bad thing published about him. He's a media darling. Kate would be surprised how far a handshake and warm smile go with the press.
Another benefit to making friends with the press is they tend to leave you alone when you want to be left alone, because they know you'll be happy to accommodate them another time. So they don't want to burn bridges with you.
There is an art to managing the press when you are famous, though I don't think it's particularly difficult really. Just common sense and courtesy.
So what did she do? Come on, folks! I'm dying here! :)

It's not unusual for most carry-out Chinese and Italian places in the NY/Philly area to give 1 or 2 liter sodas with an order. You can pick the flavor.

Exactly. One reason I think she is oh so very pissed about this whole fiasco is because it got exposed right away. She was hoping to just make her VIP night out a quiet little thing. That's why she resisted photos, etc. She finally said fine to a few, but didn't really think they would get out.
All this publicity not only exposed something that happened that we've yet to find out, but it also exposed her as the staycation I refuse to spend a dime on my kids hypocrite that she really is.

Absolutely true. I've commented before about my days with a celebrity. I could write a book (but I'm not going to)! I recall once after a show, there was a blizzard going on. We had an SUV with a driver. Two paps were stuck - they weren't going anywhere. We were sitting in the car, ready to pull away. My friend saw the reporter and photographer standing there, trying to figure out how they were going to get out of the parking lot since their car clearly wasn't going to make it home. My friend told them to hop into our car and we'd take them where they wanted to go, but only if they agreed to be our guests at the hotel bar and grill.
Turns out it was a great night, we ate and talked much long than planned, and because the weather was so terrible, my friend also paid for them to stay at the hotel for the night and made sure that they got to their car the next day. That's just the way he was. He'd give you the shirt off his back. The media knew it. The fans knew it. The thing was that he wasn't looking out for himself. Nothing about it was fake. His kindness to others wasn't staged just to make himself look good.
Kate could never, in a million years, treat anyone with such respect. Even if she tried to pull it off, it wouldn't work because she has a reputation of being a miserable person. Now it's too late. She is socially inept and immature.

And at the end of the day, if you don't have photogs interested in you, then you are not famous anymore. They help keep you relevant. Celebs know they need them. I'm not asking a celeb to expose themselves or their kids privacy, but if you're just out at an EVENT why would you be upset over such a thing? You are out at an event!

So...what will tomorrow actually reveal? What is the oh-so-untrue lie? I mean come on, if it's a lie why is she so concerned and angry about it? If it's the truth she should just be sitting pretty with no issues.
Lots of celebs get written about, plenty of celebs have fake stories run about them. I don't see any of them lashing out on Twitter and being this holier-than-thou come with me if you know it isn't true attitude.
It's kind of creepy in a way. Such as a cult, where you get lured in by other members who try and convince you that what you thought was right is actually wrong.
Almost as if Kate runs this exclusive cult that is open to only members who believe whatever comes out of her mouth is right and pure, anyone else can say the same thing but they're wrong. And if you try to leave you're blocked or banned from ever returning or she wants to why you don't believe her.

He would tell me that they were the reason he was what he was, and if the time came when they didn't show up asking for autographs, that was the day he'd know he was "done." Let me get this straight. Kate "gives" this guy a photo, thus giving her a free pass on his observed behavior of her last night? The photog said she was beautiful (to each their own)but grouchy. You would think if it was just a picture where she looked grouchy, she could write that off to a bad angle, etc. Heck, she did every episode, always some reason, someone else's fault.
Why on earth did she the attack the photog, accuse him of lying? Lying about what? The way she pounced, she clearly is trying to hide something she thinks she showed, revealed or actually said (per his tweet)last night. Preemptive strike, excuse built in with her fanatics now that the photog was out to get her, jealous or in the minds of the really extreme trying to blackmail her ...
