Okay, I just went on her website to check out the information shared here for myself. These are some observations:
1)The boys had lego cupcakes instead of cake - okay, no big deal. Lot's of kids do cupcakes. It sounded earlier like they hadn't received ANY cake whatsoever.
2) To be fair, the kids looked like they were having a nice time. They had friends over, got to play and swim and open presents. What more did they really need?
As for the numbers, the boys had 2 friends, the girls had 4. Maybe the two boys were the only ones Joel, Aaden and Collin wanted to invite. Maybe other boys had soccer or some other sport. Who knows? Again, the boys didn't seem upset, so I guess why should we be?
My kids are at an age, similar to the Gosselin sextuplets, where we're starting to pick and choose who we want to come over for birthdays, etc. rather than inviting the whole class. Why? Because they're at a developmental age where they are forming individual friendships. This is actually pretty typical for kids their age.
3) Just a quick question - anyone have any idea what the paper under the light switch and thermostat in the apartment is? I couldn't tell but it seemed kind of formal.
I guess, having reviewed her site, I don't think this is one I'm going to complain about. I think Kate did a nice job, actually. Yes, it would have been nice for her to have spent some time with the boys so she could have had more pictures, but honestly why is anyone surprised she'd be upstairs at the tea party? That's what interests her, not building legos. I'm assuming that Steve was there and he probably was in charge of the boys, which is fine. They know him and they seem to like him and so, again, they probably did fine. What they're going to remember 10 years from now isn't that Kate didn't hang out with them. They're going to remember that they had a birthday party and had fun and that mom was running around like a chicken with her head cut off, just like she always does.
And before anyone jumps all over me, no I am not a sheeple. I am not a Kate "fan". I am a long time poster on this site who tries to be fair and give Kate credit where credit is due. Kate had a party for them on their actual birthday and a party with their friends. She was probably her usual Kate self, making it seem like things were more hectic and demanding of her attention then they really were but that's Kate. She's always going to be about drama and martyrdom.
I'm at the point where I just shake my head, roll my eyes and move on, I guess. Apathy is a nice state to be in where Kate Gosselin is concerned.
Those birthday party pics look like fun...like an eight-year-old party ought to look. Good on Mady and Cara for helping their little brothers and sisters do something "normal". And (gulp) good for Kate for allowing it to happen...at long last.
Those kids parties were so strange. Girls in the apartment over the garage and the boys in the garage. Why in the world would she not have set up a tent outside so all could enjoy the day together. Also, when my kids were little we always opened the gifts with the guests present so they could all see the expressions on the birthday girl or boys face. I agree with other posters here that this party was thrown together because kate put her foot in her mouth on the today show.As far as no other adults at the party, in the one pool picture you can see 2 adults sitting her chairs behind kids, you just can't see their faces.
xxxxx @mscatie @chablis4u @chancertheboxer @kateplusmy8 Those little girls look terrorized; wonder what kate shrieked at them before pic was taken
Where are these photos of the girls looking terrorized? Are there more photos in addition to the ones on her webpage? I only see smiles, no fear. What photos am I not seeing?
Steve or not Steve? I vote that Steve was at the house, and his kids called up and asked "how'd you like for Son 2 and I to come spend today with you?"
I thought it was Steve's sons who fixed the door and the tractor the last time. If so, then the "impromptu" visit makes sense to me.
I wonder if the guests had to but 3 gifts each or just one for the tup who invited him/her? --------- I have twins, and they have one party together, but each guest only brings one gift for the twin that invited them. To expect party goers to give to each bday girl or boy is pretentious and rude, imo. As far as the gift opening, perhaps the party goers are out of camera range? Some think the party was thrown together..but people...remember, you are talking about someone who has NEVER had to plan, organize and prepare for a party..TLC always did it. Kate gets a thumbs up from me, at least she bought all the stuff, made the cakes, menu items, decorations,etc. With her personality and abilities, I think she earns a good mom award! (You know what Kate? I hope you AND your kids enjoyed this simple, camera-free party the best).
Apathy is a nice state to be in where Kate Gosselin is concerned.
********
It would be nice if she moved to the state of Apathy and left the state of Pennsylvania!
There's so much discussion and arguing over who was making the pizza. Why? Who cares? If Steve was there for the party, perhaps he was putting pepperoni on the pizza. What difference does it make whose hands those were? If it was a guest, fine; if it was Steve, fine. Why such bickering about it on Twitter and other blogs? Did Kate tweet that it was a male guest? Did she tweet that it was Steve? If someone was trying to call her out on yet another lie, that's one thing, but I don't think that she identified the mysterious hands, did she?
Dwindle -- Just for fun, I looked up loaded potato salad in a couple of my cookbooks. They're all pretty much like the recipe you came up with, except they all call for shredded cheddar cheese in addition to the igredients you used and none use butter. One also includes chopped boiled eggs and chopped dill pickle, and another added a couple of teaspoons of mustard to the dressing. Yours sounds good. I've seen it in the deli at Kroger (or maybe Meijer) but never tried it. Now I'm hungry for loaded potato salad. Maybe I'll go get some for dinner. I don't have time to make it.
Aggiesmom: Kate just made a liar out of her self all by herself. Kate tweeted that she made her famous pizza, and here is the pic. That is a guy making pizza, unless Kate had a dramatic, sex change over night. That looks like a guy to me. -------- Here is her tweet concerning the pizza: Cleaning up my kitchen &making their famous pizza for dinner too! They are an amazing loving group! We miss them since they moved far away!
My interpretation is that her company was in the kitchen cleaning and making the pizza. I never said Kate was making the pizza. I only commented on the guy's belly, wondering if Steve was built that way. :) (as for the girls attending the party, there are 8 seated at the bday table, so 5 attended)..well, that we saw, anyway. I hope the kids had a good party. And maybe Kate really was exhausted! lol
Like others above I don't have a problem with the parties. I don't see anything wrong with their having a separate boy/girl party. The kids looked like they were enjoying themselves and that's what counts. I did notice at least two adults in the pool pictures. Look carefully, they're there - hidden behind kids. It doesn't matter that the girls had a cake-cake and the boys had cupcakes, it all goes down the same way. Kate said that C&M organized everything and this looks exactly like something girls of that age would organize. While I tend to agree that this was probably a last minute thing since Kate mentioned it on the Today Show, so what. I also agree that the "adult supervision" could have taken some pictures of the boys, but WTH. We sometimes tend to pick apart everything Kate and this time I don't think it's warranted.
3) Just a quick question - anyone have any idea what the paper under the light switch and thermostat in the apartment is? I couldn't tell but it seemed kind of formal. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wondered about that too..I came to the conclusion that it is not Bible verses, lol, but instructions for nannies who occupy the apt. or to the cleaning crew. makes the apt.look like a hotel!
Kate has a beautiful home. I hope she somehow finds the finances to pay for it, along with educating her children. I looked at the pics again, it appears the upstairs wasn't utilized by TLC 'cuz it is void of decorating and furniture. The bday pics do indeed show two moms poolside, and one of the indoor pics shows the infamous globe!lol
I now see two headless moms as well! Not being pampered though, lol I think that's the upstairs of the apt. and Kate must have cleaned out after Jon, the nannies etc who lived there...ready for the next not-a-nanny...
terri said... 193 ...or boys face. I agree with other posters here that this party was thrown together because kate put her foot in her mouth on the today show...
*************** or she threw a party together so she wouldnt have to be alone again on a holiday weekend.
She probably thinks she worked and organized and masterminded till her brain leaked out her ears.
I really have to wonder just how neglected her home life was when she was as a kid; had she no kind of example set for her as far as household management or family-unit functioning? If she drops an ice cube in a glass of water the woman is exhausted from how hard to had to work to create, invent, mastermind, organize and tweet and video about her amazingish ice water. It really is disturbing how she bullies and demands such adoration and accolades for her mediocre, basic functioning. And her reasons are not due to great results, but rather because she is 'entitled' and 'deserving' of this worship - for reasons even SHE cannot explain.
I have no problem with the party,cakes,etc. The only problem I have is Kate posting pictures of children that are not hers. I do hope she informed the parents that she was going to post them on her PUBLIC website, not on a private site such as a protected FB account.
As far as who the pizzamaker is-I don't care either, but find it funny that it bothered one of the sheeple so much, she researched pictures of Steve's hands and did an entire blog post about how it couldn't be Steve.

I debated about adding shredded cheddar coz I love cheese, but just LOOKING at what I had so far was making my gall bladder twinge.
I suppose I could have looked it up, I actually didnt really think of that (putting paper bag over my head now.) I was also thinking that maybe next time I could make it as I described but then put out small bowls of scallions, cheese, pickle, egg etc for guest to dress up their own. Even peas...
Oh I love summer! and I love having a few folks over nearly every weekend all summer, for simple food, a fire, some wine, music... I live for this all winter long.
Once a Viewer.. ol I think that's the upstairs of the apt. and Kate must have cleaned out after Jon, the nannies etc who lived there...ready for the next not-a-nanny... --------- yes, you're right, it's the garage apt, I forget you guys can't read my mind, lol. She has a beautiful home, doesn't she. Too bad she didn't earn it herself. I hope for the kid's sake she can hang onto it, if that's what's best for the kids.
I agree the parties were fine ( the only thing bothering me was the emphasis on the girls' one by Kate in the pics and captions) but she did say Mady and Cara did most of the work. Therefore we should not give Kate TOO much praise, lol. J/K,.
maybe she will see that kids can be happy without travels, freebies, exotic adventures and cameras filming.she may also apprentice her children more.
CC had little to offer. We all have forgotten coupons; we all have remembered them. So?
Kate seems to have a lot of returns. She could have phrased that tip like this "If you have something to return, return it." Oh, wait, that's more or less what she did say!
bearswife said... 178 I looked at her recent blog post on my Google-reader and it is SAD.
There is a picture of the girls with their cake and the caption reads: "Hannah, Leah and Alexis beam with happiness as they celebrate with their first ever "girls only" cake! (boys had done their cake and icecream, piñata and Lego craft with Cara and adult supervisors by the time I was finished taking pictures upstairs! Geesh!)" *********** How did Kate miss all of the boys' Bday activities?
Kate really does show more attention to the girls.
5 boys playing and building with legos, then taking turns breaking open a pinata and then collecting all the goodies inside, and then eating cake and ice cream ... this would not go so quickly that Kate would "Geesh" just miss it by accident.
No, instead Kate was too involved and interested in the girls' party to even bother to be present for the boys' celebration.
Someone posted about what the kids will remember from the party. Well from my experience, my kids always remembered that I was there with them. The boys will remember that Kate was NOT there and unfortunately, her blog and pictures will remind them for years to come.
Dwindle -- Your idea of putting out add-ons for the potato salad is AWESOME!! And not in a KKish sort of way! In any group, there's always going to be someone who wants more cheese or doesn't like onion or doesn't eat bacon or wants to include something else. And peas added in sounds really good. I may try that sometime. Reminds me a bit of the creamed peas and new potatoes my mom made every summer, only cold.
haha, work and travel schedule...doesn't she wish? ------- I haven't read her post...she really is hanging onto her last few minutes of fame, isn't she?
If my home was as nice as Kate's, I don't think I would have a party in the garage. That just seems strange to me. Who entertains guests in their garage?
Another boring CC blog. Anyone with half a brain, could figure out if you don't take the coupons with, or have them in a place you won't forget them, they won't get used. That has nothing to do with organization. Putting the coupons in alphabetical order is organizing them, forgetting to take them is well forgetting to take them, has nothing to do with organizing.
Aggiesmom: I took it to mean Kate was making their famous pizza. So since when does Kate allow others in her kitchen, Kate was pretty anal, during the show of anyone in the kitchen. Perhaps it was PB. Or if it were the guest, he is a very bold person. Those kids look so hungry and ready to pounce on the pizza cooked or not.
Bluebird, thank you for your good wishes! Your boys are around the same age as mine, I envy you that you can see them every day and watch them grow and develop into their own individual people. I wish we lived closer so we could see their soccer games, t-ball games, etc. I'm happy you get to be involved in all of this with your boys! It means SO much to the kids!
Dwindle, your potato salad recipe sounded great! Being a lover of loaded baked potatoes, I'm going to have to try this. I also agree with your opinion about enjoying the summer with easy BBQ's for family and friends. We do it all the time, whether it be at our home or someone else's. It does make for an enjoying time with good memories, doesn't it.
As for the kids' parties, I didn't see the pictures, but based on what everyone has said, they seem like they were nice, low key parties (unusual for them, I know). It's good that they had a birthday without microphones and movie cameras in their faces. It's sad that Mom still has to post everything to make it public for strangers to see.
Well the girls' cake that C&M baked put KT's little chocolate cake to shame. They actually took the time to bake two whole layers and stack them instead of sticking a large cupcake-thing on top of what may have been 2 thin layers or one fat one. And they took the time to draw their decorations on the cake instead of using stick on's. Of course the boys' ate theirs before they could be photographed. They were probably starved. Swimming makes you very hungry.
Kate couldn't work on the party, now she has 2 babysitters, not on the payroll, to plan those things, life is easier.
But let's remember in order to run in a marathon, we must get our Paws & Claws painted, our hair colored (although when sweating, the color runs down your neck) and then the hardest part, which none of you seem to understand, only 3 or 4 days to pack for a 3 day trip.
Hollywood Life published Kate's party pictures on their website. I really do hope the parents gave her permission to post the pictures that included their kids, and realized that they may also be posted elsewhere.
Well I'm glad we have PROOF that the kids had a happy birthday. Snerk. Her desperation to display K+8 type photos of the kids is so weird. She really seems to be living in her own special reality series delusion. Earth to Kate: the show was cancelled long ago. Fifteen minutes are up, cookie. Get a job already
Dwindle & Readerlady... I made our local favorite, here in Los Angeles. King's Hawaiian Restaurant's Potato/Macaroni salad. Famous where I grew up. Google the recipe sometime, as it is fantastic! As for the loaded tater salads? SPD Markets make a Bleu Cheese w/Bacon Baked Potato version, that's better than any I've ever tasted. (For some reason, this "egg-hater" knows her potato salads.) I wonder if Kate's original American Flag Cake will make an appearance on Twitter this 4th.

Why Kate doesn't see what we already know ... that her fans are made up of: 1. a few weird love struck women 2. teens who are in school during the day 3. and new (naive) viewers who live overseas in a different time zone (they are sleeping while she is tweeting during the day).
Her twitter is on life support today ...
Kate's hope for her "twitter episode" of the tups Bday party doesn't seem to be making the impact she thought.
Hey Kate, Your show was CANCELLED for a reason. The public is no longer interested.
Please stop exploiting your kids and what should have been a PRIVATE Birthday party with some innocent friends (who will not appreciate having their pictures posted all over the internet now).
Be a MOM for once and protect your kids and their friends. Let them live a normal childhood in peace and quiet.
If MY kids went to the party and then their pics were splattered all over the internet, I'd be pissed as hell. Ok, I was being nice to Kate about throwing a nice party. I TAKE IT BACK.
Okay, I gave in and went to CC to read Kate's latest tips. I copy it here, but I don't know how to do that. Her tips were ordinary, common sense, and one particularly ridiculous.
I'm paraphrasing here, but we'll start with ridiculous. She said to keep your receipts and write on the top of each one what you purchased so you know in case you have to return something. What? I don't know where she shops, but every receipt I get for groceries, clothes, etc., lists each item individually. I don't need to waste time writing down each item, it's already there! And besides, how does this "save" money?
Her other "helpful" tips were to keep coupons in a small separated coupon keeper (I think she said alphabetized, but I'm not sure). I've been doing that for about 25 years. I also do not alphabetize them, I group them by category: meats, fresh produce, cleaning products, etc. To me, it's easier to find what you are looking for when you're down that particular item. Although Kate says to organize them by store, most coupons clipped from the paper can be used at any store, although there are some specific store coupons.
Then she said to keep larger coupons in a large manilla envelope. Again I say what? I simply fold larger coupons in half and put them in the same coupon organizer with all of the smaller ones.
None of her "tips" save money, they are just common sense coupon keeping skills that everyone over 15 years old has been doing for decades. Sheesh, she really is clueless, isn't she?
"If my home was as nice as Kate's, I don't think I would have a party in the garage. That just seems strange to me. Who entertains guests in their garage?" May 29, 2012 3:20 PM
************************************************ ...Because Kate is nothing, if not predictable. Yes, her home is lovely. I think we can agree on that. That is precisely why neither of the parties was "allowed" to be in the mansion. She didn't want anything messed up. What a control freak!
She has a beautiful dining room and a nice kitchen table that could have easily accommodated the tea party. Isn't that where most moms would agree to have it? Instead, it was held in the barren garage apartment. No surprise that the boys were relegated to the garage.
I think Mady did a wonderful job planning and preparing the parties. She seems responsible and mature.
Winsomeone said... 18 If my home was as nice as Kate's, I don't think I would have a party in the garage. That just seems strange to me. Who entertains guests in their garage? ------------ I agree with Winsomeone. But then I remember that Kate treats the boys like they are icky and not worthy.
So off to the garage with them!
So what if it was their Birthday party and they invited 2 guests. They are messy and they must be banished to the garage.
It doesn't matter that Kate has a huge comfortable rec room in her basement that the boys could have enjoyed. Or that they have a nice big kitchen table that the boys could have sat at to eat their cake and ice cream. Or that they have the picnic table in the covered patio outside the basement near the pool that they could have enjoyed.
But Kate does not want HER house and her areas messed up with their ickiness and the ickiness of 2 of their friends. YUK!
Wasn't Jon banished to the garage when Kate was deceiving everyone and trying to keep the illusion (lie) that she was happily married? Well now it seems it is the boys and their friends who are also banished to the garage.

Nightgown or teddy?
Neither. She's probably packing her cat o'nine tails- for Skeevie.
Anyone remember Mel Brooke's, "High Anxiety"? Nurse Diesel (Cloris Leachman) with the missile titays? Well, that's Kate.
maybe she will see that kids can be happy without travels, freebies, exotic adventures and cameras filming.she may also apprentice her children more. ------------- That would require her to think that the kids can only be happy with the travels and such. She has never put any thought into what would make her KIDS happy, only what makes HER happy.
Sad that their mother skipped and avoided the boy's party. How pathetically transparent she's always been of her straight up dislike for her sons.
No way would I ever allow my child to go to a Gosselin Birthday party. The fact my child's face could wind up in the Tabs is unthinkable to me. I wonder if the parents knew Kate sold the pics.
We currently live in Wisconsin. For some unknown reason hidden deep in the past, people around here have parties in their garages. Even graduation and birthday parties. And we all have large basements, most of which are fully finished.
So a party in the garage doesn't surprise me. But it is something I would never do!
Yes, Kate has a beautiful home. The fact that she doesnt use it when entertaining has always baffeled me. However, she is not the only one like that.
My brother's SIL (on his wife's side), has a beautiful home, although not on the scale of Kate's. Anyhow, their son, my brother's nephew, was born in January and they have a birthday party for him every year. The problem is that they have the party in the garage in January (in Illinois) when it is bitter cold. They have a space heater, folding tables and chairs, and they decorate. Although they have a large home with dining room, finished rec room, family room, living room, etc., she does not want her home messed up or possible spills on the carpet or furniture. My brother and SIL told me that the last 2 years, people declined the invitation because they didn't want to sit in the garage in January. In 2012 was the first time they actually had the party inside of the house instead of the garage, so people would come.
My daughter's birthday was in February. Having both kid and adult parties, it was expected that something would get spilled or dropped. Oh well, it cleans up, and the parties were fun.
The adult in the picture by the pool with the blue shirt and cargo shorts on is a man. It could be Steve as that was always his choice of clothes when at the beach.
I don't give any koodos to Kate for these "parties". Honestly, I think that the girls party was supervised by the not a nanny who probably lives above the garage. We have seen the cake that Kate came up with. There's no way that she baked the tea cake, and I doubt two 11 yr old girls could come up with one as clean and crisp as that one. I think they had help. And there is no reason to have the party in the garage apartment. None. Wanna be close to the pool? The basement walks out. Wanna be close to the kitchen? The dining room is right there. Wanna have a funner space? Do it in the girls room. The only reason for having it in the garage apt that I could come up with is that the not a nanny threw the party.
It is totally unacceptable to me that she had both parties on the same day, in different places, and only attended one. What mother does that? This is their special day! The party wasn't on their birthday, have them two different days! Send the boys to daddy for some individual time during the girls party if they really don't want to be there for a tea party and the girls for the boys party. But there is no excuse for mom not being at their party. None. And make a big deal about them. It doesn't take much more work to put out REAL tea cups for party favors. To serve tea on china plates (or even just real ones!) To put decorations up, get bunches of balloons. Etc. I mean, Kate did nothing other than make a cake and have the older girls do all the other work. Yet, she had so much to prep for that she was behind the night before and she was soooooooooo exhusted from that party that she could not make it to church the next morning. Not to mention ALL the clean up they had. (Really????) I really am mad. TLC threw her down everyone's throat as this amazing mother, the coupon website wants us to believe that she is super organized, the cruise wanted us to believe that she was such a creative person we could craft with her...where were these Kates during the party? She did nothing. Yet, she wants applause for nothing. I'm sorry, I'm not giving it. The self esteem of those boys whose mom couldn't give them the time of day is huring now and Kate should figure out a way to organize a big huge apology to them.
Update to my earlier post regarding Kate's twitter account tonight ...
The nonfans have been posting nonstop tonight. They are calling Kate out on posting the Bday pictures of the innocent guests and how the pictures are now posted on other sites.
And guess who is back on twitter? - Kate's PAID Make-Up Artist (Deanna ?) who is tweeting like crazy tonight trying to defend Kate to the nonfans.
If you remove the nonfans' tweets and Deanna's tweets (considering she is still being PAID by Kate to do her make-up), Kate's twitter would be silent tonight. And that is after two blog posts - one on her website exploiting her kids Bday party with pictures and one on CC.
Her teen fans are still too hungover from the weekend to tweet and her overseas fans are working at their jobs.
Her twitter account is such a MESS! Does Kate not see how sad and PATHETIC it is?
No way would I ever allow my child to go to a Gosselin Birthday party. The fact my child's face could wind up in the Tabs is unthinkable to me. I wonder if the parents knew Kate sold the pics.
----
How do you know that Kate sold the pics? I don't really understand how copying photos works, but isn't it possible that photo was just taken from her website and pasted on the other site? There are photos that appear here of the kids (with faces blocked, of course), and I doubt if admin buys them from Kate!
This is the headline from the Hollywoodlife tups birthday pix/article.:
"Kate Gosselin Shares Sextuplet Birthday Party Photos"
Since they posted the pictures, does this mean that they paid Kate for the pictures? Even if she just "shared" them without charge, are there any other celebs that share their kids's private birthday pictures?
The pictures are of ordinary looking kids doing ordinary things. The quality of the pictures are less than ordinary--she just doesn't know how to frame a shot. It looks like the kids had fun. At least the tup boys had a little privacy
Well now it seems it is the boys and their friends who are also banished to the garage.
------
Maybe the boys wanted to be in the garage. Maybe it's a guy thing and they didn't want anything to do with the icky girls. They are at that age! I think that separating them for their birthday (tea and legos) would have been a fun thing to do, and then all of them would get together for swimming. I just don't understand that there's anything wrong with that. Did Kate say that she spent all of the time with the girls? Is it possible that she did pop in to see what the boys were up to?
I am not a sheeple by any means, but I think this party is being criticized way too much.
Kate had terrors when Jon was in the kitchen cooking a special Korean meal for the family and Kate had to share space with him. She wanted him OUT so she could fix lunch. Why would she be any different with her twin daughters trying to prepare food for their little brothers and sisters? Of course they had to use the kitchen in the garage apartment.
The kids 3rd birthday part Kate was just so stressed out it wasn't perfect, their fourth birthday she complained about the kids decorating cupcakes, their fifth birthday all Kate did was point out paparazzi to other parents at her kids park birthday. Their sixth birthday was just the kids in Florida. Last year she said she hadn't even made plans for their party because it sneaked up on her. This year she manages to only take pictures or actually be there for her daughters.
How hard is it to plan something simple, actually be there just FOR the kids and enjoy it and oh yeah, not sell any pictures? Her posting them for the whole world to see, KNOWING that a tabloid would get hold of them speaks to the mind that she is farther gone than I realized. It's stupid and totally speaks to her living her life in TLC frame of mind.
It's in a way sort of weird she can't or more likely chooses not to accept reality. They WERE on television at one point, past tense.
I think she needs more than a job, she needs to see someone who can help her get life skills. Do they even have, "Post-Reality Drama Queen 101?" Kidding aside Kate--grow the hell up and quit marketing your kids. They are just like every other kid at a party nothing really special (sorry) about them they are just 8 year old kids with friends. A lot of us women here could post the same picture of friends or those who have kids of 8 year olds and not to be rude but I really wouldn't be all that interested because they are just kids.
I hope this does not come across to hurt anyone's feelings and I really hope this doesn't come across as rude or disrespectful to anyone who posts here that's not my intention.
My 1st thought was "great, she is spending time with the kids, cooking dinner, helping with homework". Just kidding.
No, my 1st thought was she is on the phone with all the parents of the kids who attended the Bday party. And trying to explain why their children's pictures are all over the internet today.
And my 2nd thought is she is packing for her trip to SD since Steve was at the house yesterday (you know, fixing the garage door so the boys have privacy when they are banished) and she is getting ready to leave. You know, she MUST get there days in advance to get ready for her amazingish 1/2 marathon (and to scope out the best way to use the scooter and avoid being seen).
Though, my money is on the parents calling her and demanding answers. I know I would be!
Thinking her CC nonsense post may be her farewell tweet as she and the Skevester travel to San Diego by first class stage coach. I mean, tomorrow is Wednesday already. Must get used to the time change, being at sea level, comsumption of margaritas, etc.
No way would I ever allow my child to go to a Gosselin Birthday party. The fact my child's face could wind up in the Tabs is unthinkable to me. I wonder if the parents knew Kate sold the pics. ------- Ok, how's that work? Can tabloids use pictures that someone has posted, and then place them on their own website without any monetary exchange? Kate, if you sold those pics and didn't tell the parents beforehand, you just lost some more friends. Then, you can say, 'they just didn't know how to help us'. Damn, Kate, you could have at least blurred out the guest's faces.
I must have lost my mind this afternoon, giving Kate a thumbs up for the mediocre parties. That woman needs her parental rights stripped. JON, what the F*** is wrong with you!
Hey Kate, your actions just told us why your kids never go to friend's houses....you're afraid someone might make money off YOUR kids by posting their pics. How would that feel, Kate? Oh, forgot...you are the only one that uses them as an atm.
Kate's latest tweet is so funny yet so sad. She is the biggest bully I have ever seen on TV or otherwise. Yet she tries to pretend she is against bullying. That's the funny part, the sad part is that it's not true.
thank you for the potato salad tips! Maybe we should all have a potato salad party and everyone bring a bowl their favorite recipe. I will supply the grilled chicken minus the sammynilla of course.
Kate said that M&C wanted to plan and execute the birthday party for the tups. That brought back memories. My dad died when I was 3 leaving 4 kids for my mom to raise from age 6 yrs to 6 months. My mom had hard life trying to be a single mom raising 4 kids. She became bitter in life. We never had birthday parties, Halloween or Easter baskets. When I was 10 years old, I realized how much we were missing when I heard kids talk at school. One Easter, I took my money I saved from my allowance and went to buy Easter baskets and candy. I made my siblings Easter baskets and put them out for Easter morning. In Kate’s words, there were shrieks all around. We never had baskets before. My mom was shocked beyond belief but I wanted to make my siblings happy. So when I read that M&C wanted to plan and have a party for the tups, I could just imagine that they wanted the tups to be happy and do something more than Kate was willing to do. I’m so happy the tups have their big sisters in their lives to watch over them.
now see, if Kate had just taken pictures of the party and not tweeted them, the kids would have still had a nice party, seen their friends and eaten cake in one form or another. But no, Kate had to tweet them. Can't seem to keep memories private.
I feel partially responsible for that. I know I silently question what Kate says, thinking "if she really did that, why not show us a picture to prove it?" Well, she does, and the children at the party get their images shot 'round cyberspace. And it upsets me that it happened. I feel like an accomplice.
Kate wants to stop bullying? Only in other children? Not her...she bullied Jon. AND she taught her children well. Didn't at least two bully others before being expelled? And I remember watching the tups bully at least one little boy on the show. I think it was Kate's "friend's" son. This would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
thank you for the potato salad tips! Maybe we should all have a potato salad party and everyone bring a bowl their favorite recipe. I will supply the grilled chicken minus the sammynilla of course.
---------------- I like that idea but first I have a BIG party for this Saturday to plan. Some friends are visiting from out of town and I need to finish my list.
There are so many repairs to do around the house. I have to get them all written down before they come so they will know what to do. I would hate it if I forgot some. And I just know they would be so disappointed if they weren't able to help me when they are here.
Gotta go ... need another note pad. Times awasting!
It is wonderful that the twins pulled off birthday parties for their siblings. Lovely. I'm actually surprised that Kate gave them credit for their hard work. Unfortunately, cara and Mady may be taking tlc's place in Kate's life. They do the work, Kate sits on her ass. I worry that the twins will eventually fall victim to Kate's big bowl of ingratitude and criticism, like their poor dad did. There is no way to make Kate happy because at the end of the day, she just isn't
When are the G kids out of school? I dont really care other than we will be able to set our watches by the following: Day 1: Kate will be oh so over the top happy to be sleeping in. Twins make breakfast. Tweet all day long. Day 2: Kate will be complaining that the kids are still getting up early, even though there is no school, and disturbing her. But she will be oh so over the top happy and positive about it with lots of LOLs and butterflies and rainbows and tweeting all day and night long. Day 3: Kate will carry on (and on) about kids SCREECHING and/or SQUEALING with HAPPY DELIGHT in the pool while she sits on insert-piece-of-furniture-here. Twins make breakfast and lunch. tweet every 3 minutes all day long until her eyes are closing, closing, closing and then she will tweet some more. Day 4!!!!: Twitter silence as Kate is as far away from her kids as purseboy can lead her. Day 5: a twitter platitude to her 4 fans, something about hard work and happiness and gratitude and meemeemeee and blahblahblah. ~twitter silence continues~ Day 8: Oh lookie! Kate is tweeting again and organizing and masterminding some kind of overwhelming attack on some kind of household minutia. Like rolling up the garden hose. or disinfecting the handle on the freezer door. Mark my words. Day 9: twittertwittertweet - kids are oh so happy beyond happy and so exhausted from their extreme happiness and Kate is exhausted too but happyhappyhappy she must carry on she has no choice but she is happy happy happy. Twins make dinner (either a Gosselin Family Tradition or A Rare Treat) Tweets every 18 minutes from 11AM until about midnight. Oh so tired but her fan demands more tweets. Day 10: Anxiety is building and a routine twitter meltdown becomes evident. Day 12: see above; anxiety and mania releases in a twitter attack on... someone. Anyone. Twitter every 90 seconds until 3AM. Day 13: happy happy homemaker now! Twins make breakfast. Breakdown never even happened; except she does need to set the record straight for a few hours, but really really happy! and strong and determined and happy! happy! Twitter all day and all night long. Day 21: Kate is bored beyond words. Some kind of event of titanic proportions will occur. Twitter all day and all night about 900 lbs of zuccinni, 75 live turkeys to slaughter, pluck and freeze... something. After 1/2 day, we on 15 Minutes realize this is a mask to hide a new car, or a week long beach getaway with Steve or something. Day 23: twitter silence... Day 28 of kids summer vacation - Kids get let out of the Kon-pound for a picnic and photo op with their father. Kate diverts the attention back to her by gnashing her twitter veneers about how stressful it is to get the kids ready for back to school, all on the $2.95 that she can allot in her budget for it. Boohoo lunch boxes, boohoo backpacks, boohoo socks and shoes, oh exhausted!
The rest of the summer: stressed tired big girls do all happy haircuts tired shoes exhausted kitchen tired twins pamper mama need gift cards happy happy exhausted chipped a nail dreaded early mornings; kids go back to school, tears sob I cant believe there go my preschoolers dab eyes here and VIOLA! twitter silence all day long until the kids get home from school again. Oh and add bus stop pics at this point of Kate looking like that guy who just ate somebody's face off this weekend while growling at the police.

I know I know, I am amazing and you WISH you were as brilliant as me. But, sigh, you use a regular mediocre note pad. I will pray for you... to send me gift cards.
Did anyone notice kate had the kids, open their presents on the rug, not sit on a chair or at the table, but on the rug. 3 pics!
Did anyone notice that there was not garbage bag on the counter, when that guy was making pizza? He was doing it on bare counter top. Rolling out the crust, you can see the flour(organic flour on the counter) Geez, Kate was having a cow, when the kids were baking, cookies. Out came the black garbage bag to spread on the counter. And threat of punishment, so this must have been PB. He is the only person who could get away with that. Even back in the day with Jon, in the kitch, Kate had a cow. Kate is so full of shit!
Bearswife- So pleased you are a fan of the Island Potato/Mac Salad. Crazy goodness. (Hopefully, more summer recipes to share here.) At the risk of being a Milo... sometimes I feel you are kin to me.
I honestly think she got permission from the parents to post the photos. I suspect she had them sign a waiver. And I bet you dollars to donuts THEY couldn't bring their cameras.
Yes, it is nice that M &C apparently watch out for their younger siblings. But it still isn't healthy that they *need* to. I still feel responsible for my younger siblings and I'm in my sixties! That feeling of responsibility is something you never outgrow. And it hinders you in your own personal growth.
If Khate sold the photos without consent of the parents of the other children isn't that illegal? Selling illicit pictures of a minor...
MamaK said... The only reason for having it in the garage apt that I could come up with is that the not a nanny threw the party. --------- Hadn't thought of that but it does make some sense. It would also be nice to think that at least one adult in these kid's lives cares enough to do it.
Luke's Mom, the visit cannot be planned! It must be impromptu. Then, before you show the guests the pool or give them a glass of lemonwater, you start coyly lamenting over the broken fence post, or the leaky washer... and remind they have to wash up thoroughly before they start cooking dinner.
..ohhh I just giggled out loud as I set my alarm clock for crack of dawn for the FINAL time until next school year! Now THAT makes me happy! about an hour ago ==== I do hope Mady and Cara realize they'll be bringing her morning coffee to her for the next three months.
I had my laugh of the night. Gypsi the tweeter is very child-like, living in her own little fantasy world, looking at life through rose-colored glasses. She tweeted...
gypsi001 @grandmasf @deannatweeting @Kateplusmy8 i never saw kate lie. i see her tell it like it is. i havent seen any less of her
There was a discussion about Kate's "girls" and I read Gypsi's tweet:
gypsi001 @grandmasf @deannatweeting @kateplusmy8 no way. i dont like lies. maybe she doesnt know they arent real. maybe they arent.
I thought -- huh? Kate doesn't know her boobs aren't real? I read back and realized she was talking about those darn feathers on her dress!
I feel partially responsible for that. I know I silently question what Kate says, thinking "if she really did that, why not show us a picture to prove it?" Well, she does, and the children at the party get their images shot 'round cyberspace. And it upsets me that it happened.
----------------
I know exactly what you mean. Kate tweets that she does something. Because of her history of lying, we doubt it. She reads here. We dare her to prove it, and she does. Then everyone cries foul, she's once again invading her kids' privacy, how dare she. It's kind of a vicious cycle.
On memorial day, younger dd and I started out at the Y pool. There was a nice family with four kids there. Cute, average kids having fun with their patents who were actually in the water with them, playing with them. This is everyday stuff. Ms Kreider s bunch are just average kids, basically boring, doing everyday stuff. And it is boring. Nothing wrong with that. Ms Kreider is boring. Essentially the entire premise of their show from the very start was BORING. most people are busy enough living their own lives, they don't need someone elses boring actions for so-called entertainment
Did she really sell pictures to a tabloid with shots of kids who weren't her own???!!!
Yikes.
My neighbor is a cop and he investigates all kinds of crime related to kids photos online. He'd NEVER, NEVER, NEVER let his kids' photos be posted.
If these were taken at a private home, then I'd think the parents would have some expectation of privacy for their kids.
Certainly they didn't agree to her selling photos to tabloids... it's not like these photos were snapped in a public place where you have no expectation of privacy.
If those were my kids, I'd be royally pissed. Think of it! If the tups/twins went to a friends house and the parents took pictures and sold them, kart would be livid.
kart, kart... you really are dumb as a box of rocks.
I don't know why Deanna bothers to defend Kate on twitter. A paid friend defending Kate is not going to change anyone's mind. Deanna's twitter was all about how Kate loves the boys, they love her, the photos on the website were stolen, Kate was edited to look bad on the show, I saw Ashley at Kate's a couple of months ago, etc. Maybe she can be Kate's new PR person.
terri said... 193 Also, when my kids were little we always opened the gifts with the guests present so they could all see the expressions on the birthday girl or boys face.
I think that waiting to open presents is a new trend, at least out here in California. I can't remember the last time in the past 3 years that we've been there when someone opened their gifts. Then again, most of the parties I've been to in the past few years have been at places like Chuck E Cheese and Pump It Up and present opening isn't built into those types of parties. Although, to be fair, we were just at a home based birthday party and he didn't open his gifts until everyone had left either.
Anyway, just an FYI that it's not all that unusual.
I guess I missed something. I thought parentification was when the children took over the parent's role and looked after siblings like a parent.
So I was reading up on it and found out it's when there is a role reversal where the child looks after the parent.
**Harming Your Child by Making Him Your Parent by Samuel López De Victoria, Ph.D. August 15, 2008
A very subtle way to create damage in your child is to turn that child into your parent. This process is called parentification, not to be confused with parenting. Parentification can be defined as a role reversal between parent and child. A child’s personal needs are sacrificed in order to take care of the needs of the parent(s). A child will often give up his/her own need for comfort, attention, and guidance in order to accommodate to the needs and care of logistical and emotional needs of the parent(s) (Chase, 1999). In parentification the parent gives up what they are supposed to do as a parent and transfers that responsibility to one or more of their children. Hence the child becomes parentified. That child is the “parental child” (Minuchin, Montalvo, Guerney, Rosman, & Schumer, 1967).**
And it fits Kate like a glove.

Dwindle @ 65 -- lol!!
You have Kate's summer schedule down pat. You ARE amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kate has never been able to look after her kids from the get-go without help and lots of it. There have been people doing her work for her since she was very young. I think that's part of why it's hard to turn away from watching her. It's the curiosity of who she'll use next to get what she wants and to serve her needs. It appears as though it's Cara and Mady's turn up to fill the slot for now. And as someone upthread commented, they will be next to walk out on her. Still, oddly enough, Kate wonders why.
I have known narcissists, selfish people, lazy people, but she really takes the cake in every category.
I was deeply moved by your story. You blessed your siblings in giving them those baskets...it's possible they thanked you, time and time again; even so, I wish I could give you a big ol' hug. Such a thoughtful, selfless act.
I was shocked, although not surprised, to see photos of the childrens' friends posted on Kate's blog and a celeb gossip site. And I'm thinking these same pics may appear on Radar, etc. There are several posters/lurkers who have contact with parents at the kids' school and I wonder if there's been any feedback on this - perhaps permission was given, but probably not.
Someone posted a youtube video of Kate spanking Leah on Kate's twitter feed and I noticed something I missed when the pictures were in the tabs. Kate is actually holding the bottom edge of Leah's dress up while spanking her. That is so mean and hurtful to do that to a small child!!!!! WHY WHOLD UP HER DRESS--WAS THAT TO GET A BETTER AIM TO HURT HER? that makes me so so so mad!! She sure is a momster!
By the way, she couldn't have bothered to put the effort to watermark the b-day pictures she posted on her 'blog' so they couldn't be lifted and posted somewhere else. Just...so...dumb.
I think Kate has kept track of every nickel they earned. It is sad to read about the church offerings and ending that letter with God Bless when this woman never goes nears a church. What a scam she was and still is. I think Jon has it in him too. He just got so angry at Kate being the boss that he walked away thinking he was going to be a big deal too. Wrong.He is paying a price and I think he misses the days when he could go skiing in Utah, etc. He liked that and he will never do it again, not with that child support.
When Kate hit Leah, she bent that little girls arms back so far with her giant paws that you just know Leah had to be hurting. It is obvious that Kate has a terrible temper to jump up and beat a child like that, lifting her dress and making sure she hit the back of her legs. That hurt for hours. Seeing Cara & Mady's faces, it was like "better her than us"
Kate is a phony but if you want to read about people who are on reality shows and how they do believe in their fantasy worlds, then MSNBC.com has an article by several psychiatrists, well known univ, etc., who validate that theory that when "acting" in a reality show, once the show ends, they cannot understand that their life is not real. All of the money that was made, the first class limo', etc., everything is gone, pronto and they cannot believe the "friends" that they made on TV are not there anymore but were paid to be "friends" like the CREW! Kate is one of those people.
The "little kids" did get use to some of the finer things in life with the trips as that is how their formative years occured, being driven around by nannies, babysitters, waiting for their mother. Remember when Kate came back from Alaska? She and Steve took off for a couple of days and those kids left with hired security men while Kate and Steve went where? Those kids were shell shocked seen waiting in cars, scared. No, I don't believe they miss the traveling because being with Kate is being on your best behavior, no laughing, no joking, no noises, no talking. Those kids looked like robots, when they acted like children, they were punished. I never saw K+J but I did watch K+8 to see what everyone was talking about and she shocked me. she was not the church going mommy, cooking, being a role model. She had implants, shorts, her boobs hanging out of halter tops and those high heels on. Gone was the "controled" look of someone with short Mom hair, neat skirts and sweaters. Gone was the Class Beth tried to train her in appearing to have. No, I don't think Kate has a future but I do think that if those kids are starting to get "out of control now" that it is just beginning to where this summer will be a breeze but wait until the little kids are 9 and then 10. Whammo.
708 sediments (sic) from readers:
«Oldest ‹Older 601 – 708 of 708 Newer› Newest»Okay, I just went on her website to check out the information shared here for myself.

We have so many marathons in PA. Really, so does every city for charities: Breast Cancer, Brain Cancer, etc., so why fly to San Diego?
---------------
Cause mommy needs a vacation away from the kids so she can work her marathon gig.
Plus when as Kate even to charity never unless she could get something out of it.
Hannah is looking a lot like Cara these days! Oh, and i spied the infamous peeled globe in a gift-opening pic, lol.
I wonder if the guests had to but 3 gifts each or just one for the tup who invited him/her?
From Kate's Twitter...
xxxxx
@mscatie @chablis4u @chancertheboxer @kateplusmy8 Those little girls look terrorized; wonder what kate shrieked at them before pic was taken
---------
I have twins, and they have one party together, but each guest only brings one gift for the twin that invited them.

They're all pretty much like the recipe you came up with, except they all call for shredded
cheddar cheese in addition to the igredients you used and none use butter.

--------
Here is her tweet concerning the pizza:
Cleaning up my kitchen &making their famous pizza for dinner too! They are an amazing loving group! We miss them since they moved far
away!
My interpretation is that her company was in the kitchen cleaning and making the pizza. I never said Kate was making the pizza. I only commented on the guy's belly, wondering if Steve was built that way.
:)
(as for the girls attending the party, there are 8 seated at the bday table, so 5 attended)..well, that we saw, anyway.
I hope the kids had a good party. And maybe Kate really was exhausted! lol
OOPPHHHHH. I did it. "Son # 2 and I". Wrong, wrong, wrong!
"Son # 2 and ME" (excuse: I deleted and edited, then did't change my pronoun to the proper one.)

Aggiemom:
I now see two headless moms as well! Not being pampered though, lol I think that's the upstairs of the apt. and Kate must have cleaned out after Jon, the nannies etc who lived there...ready for the next not-a-nanny...

***************
or she threw a party together so she wouldnt have to be alone again on a holiday weekend.
Ill... very ill.
Kate's new post is up at CC. And, of course, she mananged to mention her eight (count 'em eight!) kids. Along with all the pets.
But what bothered me, was that she mentioned a "work schedule". What "work" schedule? lol
And yes, I'm picking Kate apart. And will probably continue to do so as long as she's such a fraud.

---------
yes, you're right, it's the garage apt, I forget you guys can't read my mind, lol.
She could have phrased that tip like this "If you have something to return, return it." Oh, wait, that's more or less what she did say!
haha, work and travel schedule...doesn't she wish?

I looked at her recent blog post on my Google-reader and it is SAD.
There is a picture of the girls with their cake and the caption reads:
"Hannah, Leah and Alexis beam with happiness as they celebrate with their first ever "girls only" cake! (boys had done their cake and icecream, piñata and Lego craft with Cara and adult supervisors by the time I was finished taking pictures upstairs! Geesh!)"
***********
How did Kate miss all of the boys' Bday activities?
Reminds me a bit of the creamed peas and new potatoes my mom made every summer, only cold.
oops, appreciate not apprentice!!!!!
haha, work and travel schedule...doesn't she wish?

I haven't read her post...she really is hanging onto her last few minutes of fame, isn't she?

so funny.
I had a few minutes on my hands waiting for pasta to boil:

The tups' birthday party pics got picked up by (at least one) tabloid. Wonder how their guests' parents feel about that?

Whew! There's a heavy line of severe thunder storms heading through Pa.
I hope Kate fights the urge to make her kids go swimming in their pool...

So true! Why Kate doesn't see what we already know ... that her fans are made up of:
1. a few weird love struck women
2. teens who are in school during the day
3. and new (naive) viewers who live overseas in a different time zone (they are sleeping while she is tweeting during the day).
Let's see how Kate is going to explain her self about the photo's.
I bet someone will call her attention to it.
"If my home was as nice as Kate's, I don't think I would have a party in the garage. That just seems strange to me. Who entertains guests in their garage?"

************************************************
...Because Kate is nothing, if not predictable.
Does Khate have to sign off on the contract if Jon wanted to use the kids for a reality show? And how much of what the kids earn would she get?

------------
I agree with Winsomeone.

That would require her to think that the kids can only be happy with the travels and such.
(Really????)
I really am mad.
Kristine, glad you brought up Hawaiian potato-mac salad! I made it last year for the first time and it is amazing. LOVE it!
here are 2 good recipes (each slightly different) - I combined bits of each.

Kate wasn't on Twitter tonight.

Ok, how's that work?

I been able to follow all the links yet. But, I am enjoying all your comments. Thanks for the potato salad recipes. Can't wait to try them.

I like that idea but first I have a BIG party for this Saturday to plan.
Love the potato salad recipes too. Thanks!
I dont really care other than we will be able to set our watches by the following:
Day 1: Kate will be oh so over the top happy to be sleeping in.
~twitter silence continues~
Day 8: Oh lookie!
Gotta go ... need another note pad. Times awasting!
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
Wanna know how to be like MEEEE and be PERFECT in anything and everything??? Then USE STICKY NOTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*How would one go about a-courtin' you?
(*Footnote- @MiloandJack... Twitter.com)
I don't think Kate truly knows what the word bully means.
Or she's just hoping on the anti-bullying to say-"look how much I've changed I'm brand new Kate anti bully Kate".

The only reason for having it in the garage apt that I could come up with is that the not a nanny threw the party.
---------
Hadn't thought of that but it does make some sense.
So tomorrow is the last day of school for the children. How soon will Kate hightail it out of there for San Diego?
I wonder if the school has a moving-up ceremony for the twins since they'll be going into 6th grade next year. Hope she doesn't miss that.
..ohhh I just giggled out loud as I set my alarm clock for crack of dawn for the FINAL time until next school year! Now THAT makes me happy! about an hour ago

I do hope Mady and Cara realize they'll be bringing her morning coffee to her for the next three months.
Er... make that noonish. Lazy ass.
I had my laugh of the night. Gypsi the tweeter is very child-like, living in her own little fantasy world, looking at life through rose-colored glasses. She tweeted...
gypsi001
@grandmasf @deannatweeting @Kateplusmy8 i never saw kate lie. i see her tell it like it is. i havent seen any less of her
There was a discussion about Kate's "girls" and I read Gypsi's tweet:
gypsi001
@grandmasf @deannatweeting @kateplusmy8 no way. i dont like lies. maybe she doesnt know they arent real. maybe they arent.
Had the parents sign a waiver???? Double yikes.
If they didn't sign, they got uninvited? Maybe that's why there were so few kids there.
Nah, my kids would just not go to the party... easy to solve that dilemma.
Those poor gosselin kids, their mom likely loses a lot of friends for them.
Kristine, you made me laugh!
readerlady, are you talking about that little girl in Hebron, Ohio who drowned?
That's sad.

Also, when my kids were little we always opened the gifts with the guests present so they could all see the expressions on the birthday girl or boys face.
**Harming Your Child by Making Him Your Parent
by Samuel López De Victoria, Ph.D.
~~~ ~~~ ~~~
Dwindle @ 65 -- lol!!
You have Kate's summer schedule down pat. You ARE amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Parentiication is both. Looking after the other children is part of looking after your parent since that's their job.
Kate has never been able to look after her kids from the get-go without help and lots of it. There have been people doing her work for her since she was very young. I think that's part of why it's hard to turn away from watching her. It's the curiosity of who she'll use next to get what she wants and to serve her needs. It appears as though it's Cara and Mady's turn up to fill the slot for now. And as someone upthread commented, they will be next to walk out on her. Still, oddly enough, Kate wonders why.
I have known narcissists, selfish people, lazy people, but she really takes the cake in every category.
I was deeply moved by your story. You blessed your siblings in giving them those baskets...it's possible they thanked you, time and time again; even so, I wish I could give you a big ol' hug. Such a thoughtful, selfless act.
I guess she has her TV on mute when ever Kate is on in case you missed it gyps here are some lies.
And the biggest lie ever.
I was shocked, although not surprised, to see photos of the childrens' friends posted on Kate's blog and a celeb gossip site. And I'm thinking these same pics may appear on Radar, etc. There are several posters/lurkers who have contact with parents at the kids' school and I wonder if there's been any feedback on this - perhaps permission was given, but probably not.
I'd be demanding their removal, for sure!
I wonder if the school has a moving-up ceremony for the twins since they'll be going into 6th grade next year. Hope she doesn't miss that.
---------------
It's bridging, and I hope she remembers that they have it. Today might be too early to giggle about the alarm.
Someone posted a youtube video of Kate spanking Leah on Kate's twitter feed and I noticed something I missed when the pictures were in the tabs. Kate is actually holding the bottom edge of Leah's dress up while spanking her. That is so mean and hurtful to do that to a small child!!!!! WHY WHOLD UP HER DRESS--WAS THAT TO GET A BETTER AIM TO HURT HER? that makes me so so so mad!! She sure is a momster!
By the way, she couldn't have bothered to put the effort to watermark the b-day pictures she posted on her 'blog' so they couldn't be lifted and posted somewhere else. Just...so...dumb.
Dwindle's HappyHappyHappy KateKalendar for the long Summer months made me, well, Happy. Perfectly said, perfectly outlined. Thanks.
Yes, whoever said Not-a-Nanny oversaw the parties in the garage was probably right!
I think Kate has kept track of every nickel they earned. It is sad to read about the church offerings and ending that letter with God Bless when this woman never goes nears a church. What a scam she was and still is. I think Jon has it in him too. He just got so angry at Kate being the boss that he walked away thinking he was going to be a big deal too. Wrong.He is paying a price and I think he misses the days when he could go skiing in Utah, etc. He liked that and he will never do it again, not with that child support.
When Kate hit Leah, she bent that little girls arms back so far with her giant paws that you just know Leah had to be hurting. It is obvious that Kate has a terrible temper to jump up and beat a child like that, lifting her dress and making sure she hit the back of her legs. That hurt for hours. Seeing Cara & Mady's faces, it was like "better her than us"
Kate is a phony but if you want to read about people who are on reality shows and how they do believe in their fantasy worlds, then MSNBC.com has an article by several psychiatrists, well known univ, etc., who validate that theory that when "acting" in a reality show, once the show ends, they cannot understand that their life is not real. All of the money that was made, the first class limo', etc., everything is gone, pronto and they cannot believe the "friends" that they made on TV are not there anymore but were paid to be "friends" like the CREW! Kate is one of those people.
The "little kids" did get use to some of the finer things in life with the trips as that is how their formative years occured, being driven around by nannies, babysitters, waiting for their mother. Remember when Kate came back from Alaska? She and Steve took off for a couple of days and those kids left with hired security men while Kate and Steve went where? Those kids were shell shocked seen waiting in cars, scared.
No, I don't believe they miss the traveling because being with Kate is being on your best behavior, no laughing, no joking, no noises, no talking. Those kids looked like robots, when they acted like children, they were punished. I never saw K+J but I did watch K+8 to see what everyone was talking about and she shocked me. she was not the church going mommy, cooking, being a role model. She had implants, shorts, her boobs hanging out of halter tops and those high heels on. Gone was the "controled" look of someone with short Mom hair, neat skirts and sweaters. Gone was the Class Beth tried to train her in appearing to have. No, I don't think Kate has a future but I do think that if those kids are starting to get "out of control now" that it is just beginning to where this summer will be a breeze but wait until the little kids are 9 and then 10. Whammo.
Happy Easter to those celebrating!
