There was a particularly disturbing "scene" on the deck when Kate & co. were tending to the seasick children. As one of the boys was being led away by Skeeve(?), Kate pointed to that child, and urged the cameraman to look at her son- to look at his vomit drenched back.
Now, why would anyone want to film such a thing happening? Those kids were miserable.

I started to say my next door neighbor, whose kids are all grown, but even she works full-time and doesn't have house cleaning help or anything.
My single friends with no kids? No, they also work full-time, which is more than what Kate does.

I had to come out of lurking to comment on this! I dont think its bragging at all. I think she was simply pointing out that moms(and dads) work their butts off every single day for their families. The impression Im getting is she is snarking on Kate for always being so darn exhausted after doing the simplest thing like make dinner for her kids. Especially after sitting on her rump all day and ESPECIALLY with a nanny and maid. I want to shake her for claiming how tired she is too. So next time you read a comment like that, dont take it as bragging, outdoing, or trying to counter point Kate. Take it as pure snark towards Kate's horribly hard life :)

I think it's funny that Kate wants to be the spokesperson 'against' bullying, when she tolerates, encourages and participates in the bullying of her non-fans and in particular her ex-husband, the father of her 8 children. She has constantly bullied, treated and commented harshly on/to Jon, Carla, Ashley, to name but a few, as evidenced on the shows, interviews and comments on twitter.
Kate commends and thanks her twitter 'fans' for having her back. The behaviour some of those fans and the twitter haters engage in, is scary, goes beyond bullying and makes you wonder about their mental health. Yet, here's Kate communicating with these people on a daily basis and stating she's excited to be meeting them on a cruise. It absolutely blows my mind that this woman has no boundaries or clue about what is and isn't acceptable behaviour.
Kate, perhaps others will stop 'bullying' you when you take responsibility for your own actions, stop encouraging and bullying others!

Gorgeous day in central Virginia today! My neighbor who is an experienced runner did not do the Boston marathon this year, and he is so happy to not be running on the heat. He has done it about five times over the years, but the travel gets expensive and he skipped this year.
I got to hang out by the James river in Richmond this weekend with the dh and dd and her friend. The great blue herons are nesting and courting, fun to watch. I am sorry I wasn't here to respond to the poster that didn't like my morning schedule...because I was making banana brad and blueberry muffins for a varsity tennis regional tournament one of my kids will be leaving for tomorrow! I also have had the privilege of baking and buying (out of my own pocket) all the snacks that are provided for the varsity tennis team for the past two YEARS (care to guess how much stuff 20 kids can eat?)...I don't know how to say no, so I volunteered to do the same thing for the JV this past year (even though I don't have a kid on that team).
I also spent 12 hours at the junior high district tennis tourney last Saturday, running the concession stand..and earlier in the week, helped for two full days running the Varsity and JV district tourney's as well.
BUT that would be BRAGGING, so I guess I won't mention any of that...
(for those that know me here, I hope you get my snark!!!)
I'm just a mom, nobody special. I can volunteer for my kids since I don't have an outside job, but there are so many moms that can do more than what I do, AND work outside the home, I don't know how they do it. My hat is off to them.

It's moms like you who keep those important teams/activities going 7 kids out of trouble...did the same myself for soccer (dd) and debate (ds- is that the right acronym?) & volunteered in the school library, book fair, picnic, plays, was craft mom, went on field trips, etc ran my home...and held a job. oops, there goes MY shoulder....

If you watch the clip, you'll see Kate pointing wildly at her son as he walked toward the front of the boat, covered in vomit. Kate says something like "look at him!" while pointing and stepping back so the camera gets a clear shot of him covered, soaked in puke.
Flash forward to Kate's interview where she's tarted up to the 9's, saying all wide-eyed and coquettish, that she didn't even *think* of people getting sick at sea, and didn't take a damn thing for the kids just in case they got sea sick.
No t-shirts, towels, ginger ale, motion sickness pills, crackers. Nothing.
The pleasure that she took in having a "hook" that she damn well knew would turn into the tag line for the episode's previews was sick.
That puke was ratings gold, and she knew it.
That my sage and oh-so-wise friends, is why she did not turn the boat around, even though she could have should she have chosen to do so.
My mom was a school teacher who volunteered her time cooking dinner every Sunday night for Sr. High and Junior High Youth Groups, who led my Girl Scout troop for 10 years, who was ALWAYS an official at our swimming meets, worked at a monestary library to help out the Brothers, and who still cooked a meal every night of the week, gardened, cleaned her own house with help only from her kids, and had time for baking, hooking rugs, knitting sweaters and socks, sewing my clothes and her clothes, spending time with friends, reading and watching TV shows that were important to her.
Is it OK if I pat my deceased mother on her
angelic back? She was one busy lady, and never once complained about having kids or what they cost her or how much time they required. She was my Mom. Loved her. Respected her. Miss her.
Aw. My mom right now is volunteering for a week in Alabama after the tornados last year. She isn't out in the field, but rather cooking for the other volunteers to fuel their efforts. Now there's cooking that really means something.

Oh, absolutely. She knew darn well that this was a viewer draw. That's what is so nauseating about it (no pun intended). She was a nurse, for gosh sakes...she's certainly aware of seasickness and how you should be prepared for it. Whenever we take a trip on a boat, or a cruise, I go prepared, even though my kids have never gotten sick. If it's a boat excursion or sailing, I pack a complete set of clothing, even shoes. I give them ginger capsules in advance.
Just because they've never gotten sick doesn't mean that they won't. Anything can trigger it. At the first sign of her kids getting sick, I would have said stop the filming, we're going back. She knew that drama at the expense of her kids would bring in the viewers. What a pathetic excuse for a mother.
She pulled the same thing in Alaska known for its huge mosquitoes as they were walking into the wilderness - oh by the way, I forgot the insect repellent. Since she is so organized, how do you forget something like that - you don't.
That's a good point about the set teacher. SOME kind of advocate needed to be there.
I was also struck by what she said at the end of that clip. She was back home talking about the trip and she was amazed at herself, that she was able to take them on a trip by herself. Something about the first time she took them on a trip alone (post-divorce), she was all worried. But this time, it was really good and SHE DID IT!
I just shook my head. Does she think people are blind and can't see that she had tons of help on that trip? SHE did not take eight kids by herself to Bald Head for a summer vacation.
She went with one nanny (that we saw--Ashley), one "bodyguard"/adult babysitter (Steve), a film crew, and who knows who else was with them and just not shown on camera! If there were ONLY three people on the crew (there were probably more, but let's say three), that means there were SIX adults taking EIGHT kids on a trip. Six.
That's not alone. That's not doing things by yourself, Kate. That's called having a hell of a lot of help.
And we all see what she does when she's really alone, right? They don't get to go anywhere. They get plunked in a part on a cold day with some grapes while mommy takes a quick pick for Twitter and then goes for a run and ignores them.
Was that Bald Head trip last summer or the summer before? God knows they aren't going anywhere this summer, except the two older girls MIGHT be going on the Voyage of the Damned in hot August. God, poor things, trapped with their mother and four of her kooktastic fans in the middle of the Caribbean.
Kate as a nurse I find it really hard to believe that she does not know people get sea sick. Bull. Absolute bull.
As a mother...why she does not have compassion I don't understand. Sure I have similarities that I see between my mother and Kate, but I still wonder why some people seem so devoid of human empathy and feelings towards at least their own child. Only case I can put it to is one who is a sociopath but I am not sure she fits the whole profile.
Why is Kate so fascinated with her kids being ill? This is what the second time she's pointed out and own the prospects of being sick. Trip to Florida where one of the kids got sick, she exhibited it in the bag? Come on. It's not only gross and unhealthy, it is demeaning to people I don't care if their under 18 years of age.
Children have feelings and I come to find the less you respect a person with feeling the more likely these kids could boil over with rage with not have very much respect. Respect isn't something younger people have to or should have to earn. Why it isn't equal I will never understand. Just because someone is younger than you does not give you the right to be given automatic respect from someone else. Sorry I just don't see it that way.
I don't know why adults look at kids as people who have to go through life earning the respect of other adults. It may not always be the case but it is certainly something I've seen.

Parents who love their family just do what needs to be done and don't complain. It's never made easier by complaining, is it? Also, I've been told all of my life that if you want something done, ask the busiest person you know and they will usually do what needs to be done. Kate has been having her own pity party for many years now. She just keeps inviting different people to attend. Some fall for her grifting ways, others find her out and drop out. Most of us have dropped out years ago. There is evidence of her bullying ways caught on film for all eternity. Which was it,the realist reality show; or a scripted way of life caught on tape? Since the video has made its rounds on the internet, the person who sent the photo/clip seems to be getting kudos and wrote that the kids don't eat from dinner time until the next morning, 12 hours. How does anyone know that these kids don't have a snack later in the evening, or if the kids are hungry, they go to bed starving? Was this an insider who forwarded this video...if not, how would she know that?

If you watch the clip, you'll see Kate pointing wildly at her son as he walked toward the front of the boat, covered in vomit. Kate says something like "look at him!" while pointing and stepping back so the camera gets a clear shot of him covered, soaked in puke.
Flash forward to Kate's interview where she's tarted up to the 9's, saying all wide-eyed and coquettish, that she didn't even *think* of people getting sick at sea, and didn't take a damn thing for the kids just in case they got sea sick.
No t-shirts, towels, ginger ale, motion sickness pills, crackers. Nothing.
The pleasure that she took in having a "hook" that she damn well knew would turn into the tag line for the episode's previews was sick.
That puke was ratings gold, and she knew it.
That my sage and oh-so-wise friends, is why she did not turn the boat around, even though she could have should she have chosen to do so.

milo seems to be having a bit of a . . . not exactly a temper tantrum, more like a "why is everybody being so mean to me & Kate?" kind of day. Kate only tweeted her once last night (and never did respond, despite numerous promptings, to a picture of a huge moth she wanted Kate to show the kids). After Kate signed off, she said something to the effect that she just couldn't understand why she's always getting slammed by everyone. I think she was responding to the barely veiled suggestions by numerous non-fans that she is holding a (lesbian) torch for Kate.
All I have to say to milo is: READ WHAT YOU WRITE some time, before you hit send. It is one thing to be supportive toward someone you don't know, quite another to be slavering all the time about how georgous [sic] they are, how talented, how "all 4ur 8," etc., etc., THAT sort of thing. Furthermore, you can hardly be in the dark about how nasty some of the Twitter activity can get (on BOTH sides). So if you can't stand that kind of heat . . . TURN YOUR BURNER DOWN.
Don't worry, she'll be back. She sees the promotion of Kate as some kind of divine mission, and her God wouldn't approve of her backing down now.

Kate was so cruel to not have that Captain turn that boat around and go back to the dock. My husband and i private chartered a boat in Jamaica at a cost of $1500.00 and i got sooo sick after only about 30 minutes out. My husband had that boat turned around so fast your head would have spun. When her poor kids were crying they wanted to go back, she said we can't, that is the biggest lie. SHE didn't want to go back. She needs to admit that and own it.
I have an idea why doesn't Kate say she loves Kenya, Africa. I'd love to see her shipped off to see what real people struggle with daily and I don't mean just 8 kids. I don't know why she whines about having to take care of people. At least she's got a roof over her head and food (well, depends on how you look at it) on to put on her table.
Heck, I'd just like to see her put in one full day of a real office job, the kind where you have to be polite and take people's phone calls whether or not you feel like it. Then go home and figure out what to make for dinner, help her kids with homework, do laundry when the kids are in bed. If she did this for a whole week I can just hear the major whining now.

My thoughts on Kate's food posts are ambivalent, on one had I think they are not the least bit appealing, on the other I think they are just for show.
To be honest, I don't think she actually cooks at all. There is no reason to think that she doesn't have a cook, not-a-nanny, babysitter, whatever, making the kids' meals.
Kate, the master of disaster when comes to her own PR, just thinks that putting these photos of her awesome meals is going to help her image.
She is totally clueless that it's completely backfiring on her. That's what you get when you listen only to the yes people and label your detractors as "haters".
I'll speak only for myself but I was really hoping for Kate to have a slap forehead moment and experience a revelation. I mean, it does happen.
It would be an awesome thing for those kids to have both parents acknowledge the truth about their situation, admit their part and then move on.
But so far, only their father has stepped up to that plate. Their mother, continues to exploit them in attempts to get a medium for her own ego feeding.
We need no more evidence to prove that point.
This latest pic of one of her kids being violently ill and appearing emaciated is just one more nail in her coffin.
That she dare claim anyone was doing wrong by sharing that pic when it was she that allowed it to be filmed in the first place is beyond hypocrisy.

What does "miloandjack hasn't tweeted yet" mean? I know nothing about Twitter, but I can't see any of the tweets. Does this mean she erased them?
Has anyone ever wondered why Kate never posts or twits about how time consuming it is for her vacuuming her house every day? (or do some folks actually believe she just has a cleaning lady do it once a week?) What about complaining that scrubbing her kitchen floor 3 times a day on her hands and knees is hard on her 'runners knees'? Has she ever said that scrubbing her 5 toilets three times a week is so gross and so deserving of pity? How about those posts where she explains how she takes down all her curtains and blinds twice a year and washes those; taking down her drapes every year and having those cleaned and how hard it is to rehang all this stuff?
What about the small stuff? No incessant complaints about how much dust the TV screens collect, her dilema with furniture polish, the cobwebs she suddenly sees in the ceiling corners that came out of nowhere? You know - the stuff the rest of us do all the time and dont think of coz we are NOT on the pity-me train.
No posts about hauling out the lawn mower in the spring, cleaning out flower beds in the spring being hard on her plastic nails, no veneer-gnashing over the dandolions in the yard... nuttin'.
That's because she does none of it, never has. 9 people, a dog, plus Steve living in that house, and she is still claiming she has one person keeping it spit-spot on one day a week?
The one time she tried to post something about doing laundry she made a total fool of herself because she made it up line by line as she went along and after all the moving piles and sorting colors and sorting fabrics and sorting wash temps, she puts it all back together at the end of the post and said "Oh never mind, I just do laundry per person, if that makes sense". Well well well.
Kate blathers on and on and on about how stressful and exhausting it is to slop a spoonful of stew on a plastic prison tray and drive to a bus stop here and there, because that is all she does all day. Even worse than that, is that her brain has turned to mush and that piddly little junk is all she has to THINK about all day. These stoopid things she tweets about are the highlights of her day and managing a ladle onto a plastic plate 8 times in row taxes her mind. She is quite proud of herself that MOST times she can manage to slop that spoon or toss that 1/2 sandwich and not forget one of the boys and leave him hungry.
I enjoy hearing about the things that real moms do while juggling kids, families, elderly parents, real working jobs, finacial struggles, and true physical exhaustion. Year after year after, without the benefit of a week away from home in a hotel every other month.
She sends out a tweet for coupon saving tips, THEN she tells these fools to go to CC to see if they made it on to her blog. This is just another example of how she feels she deserves having people to do her bidding. And, those who take on their "Kate" task should then bow their heads in gratitude for being chosen. Her sense of entitlement knows no bounds.

They were expelled (although the school has another name for it) for bullying and hitting. All the info that is already known about the matter was confirmed to me by someone familiar to the school as pretty much dead on accurate.
Kate was shown on TV for several years bullying Jon. The behavior of the children showed that she often turned a blind eye to the intense fighting the kids would be involved in, plus the mean and bossy way they spoke to each other. She seemed quite content with a hierarchy being established among the 6, with a queen bee and lowly fall guys. IMHO, the tups missed out on the socialization most children have learned and have been exposed to by their age, due to their mother isolating them from little friends and their extended family. Instead, they learned that to get what you want and and to get what you want someone else to do- you need to scream, grab and hit. This is the behavior modeled to them by their mother.
Kate has often said, "everyone leaves me." It is because she is a bully. She is simply unable to treat other people with respect and graciousness. She just can't. She does not have it in her. In her mind, she's too big of a "stah" and she has to exert her superiority and imagined celebrity over those she considers underlings by treating them in an insulting manner. Kate thinks when people say things she doesn't want to hear, they're bullying. When Kate treats people like dirt she thinks nothing of it, she seems to think that's what celebrities do.
It's laughable that she thinks she should be some ambassador for the anti-bullying movement when she became famous soley for being a bully and a bitch. I almost think she's pulling our legs again with that one.

Yes, she has deleted all her tweets. She's been deleting them each day from the day before, but this is the first time her Twitter page is totally empty.
She hasn't shut down the account though. Maybe she's just pouting. As someone above said, Kate's not been giving her the proper attention lately she thinks she so much deserves.
Or the talk about her on Twitter was hitting too close to home.

I would very much like Kate to be on Celebrity Apprentice. Honest, I am serious. After watching Lisa Lampanelli last night, I thought it would be interesting to see Kate up against her. But of course, that will not happen. That Lisa is a very angry, mean, vulgar bully. She will probably last until the very end. She was horrid.

In the episode where she shouted at Jon across the aisles in the toy store, she said in her couch interview that she doesn't notice other people (especially her kids, IMO). If you don't notice other people, how can you possibly be an advocate for them? I agree with all of the comments that she has shown that she is a bully, time and time again.
That clip of her kids seasick on the boat is just appalling. I can't imagine watching that happen to my daughter or my grandsons and not doing anything to get them out of the situation that was causing them all of the sickness and discomfort. I would NOT take pictures of it or have it filmed, I'd be embarassed that I didn't think of this possibility and was prepared for it, ESPECIALLY being a nurse.

Dwindle, you bring up a good point. I have a hard time keeping up with my housework. I particularly hate that I have to sweep every damn day. There are only 3 of us (and one of the 3 is a dog!) and my house is little (811 sq.ft) and I only work 30 hours a week.
There is no way kHatie does even half of the housework or we would never hear the end of it.
I think MIlo is just deleting all her tweets again. She knows she sounds crazy with her constant poking at kHatie (I think).

I do agree with you. What ever happen to the 1/2 cow she "buys". She has never once bragged about a "nice" Sunday dinner, roast beef, or pot roast, mashed potatoes, etc. veggie, salad or a Pork roast. Meals like that are great for a Sunday with plenty of leftovers for Monday or Tuesday. Her meals are horrible. Your right - kids don't get much variety, they get apples, grapes and 1/4 bananas. At least Jon used to mention grilling chicken and burgers. And she can make lb of pasta for 9 people with leftovers. Yes it's not that a set teacher needs to be disinterested in what is happened, but rather, disinterested in the money. A set teacher who is paid either way and who is never punished or in any way discriminated against for protecting the child actors (or reality subjects) is disinterested. A set teacher SHOULD be quite interested in the best interest of the child.
Set teachers have the power to shut down production, by law, in California, no matter what the circumstances are, no matter who else is on the boat or what else is going on. If kids are in danger, they have that power. Knowing this, kids are rarely put in any kind of danger. To just have the knowledge that a seat teacher could shut down protection might have been plenty enough for TLC and Kate to get a clue and stop filming those poor kids vomiting.

Applesauce is your friend here. Water to drink once you can get the gauze out. And if you cant get ahold of any Toothetts, a dab of mouthwash on a qtip is better than nothing to refresh your mouth, just avoid the whole surgery area.
Dwindle, how long did you leave your gauze in? I took mine out after 4 hours so I could have some soup and haven't put in back in.

Way back on Wendy Williams (last fall, AFTER cancellation) is when Kate mentioned a housekeeper, nanny 4 days a week, and laundry "girl" (what was she thinking with that phraseology?). I believe the housekeeper is full-time, and very possibly "live-in" (as in, over the garage). THAT is why Kate has no housework to do.
She said she went running this evening--so who was with the kids? What are that nanny's hours? I doubt the "sitter" is live-in, but I think the housekeeper is expected to "cover" as the adult in the house when Kate heads off for her jogs. Or maybe the nanny does live in, and maybe she is expected to help with housework when the kids aren't home. However it all fits together, I am pretty sure that some adult (besides Steve) does live there with her. This, by the way, is also the reason for the 3rd vehicle (the Sequoia)--it is so that the housekeeper and/or nanny has something to drive to grocery shop, pick up children, etc. I have never believed that Kate makes every kid run, every single day.
As for milo, no tweeting at all from her today. Must be very unhappy.
Oh, for the person who was wondering why Kate does not take the dog with her when she runs: Because, the dog is probably not trained or use to a leash. My dogs have a very large yard(can put 2, 2 car garages in it). When I do take them for a walk they are all over the place with excitement, after about 10 mins they are ok to walk. Kate does not have the patience to walk/run with the dog. I see people around where I live, either walk their dog/dogs or run with them.
Milo is still following Kate - 1 or 4 she follows and she's deleted all her posts back to February 20th. Maybe CJ was getting ready to expose her too.
Today I learned:
Kate has all day to run, yet chooses to run in the evening when the kids are home, either alone or with a sitter. (for the most part a stay-at-home mom should be able to do ALL her outside errands/chores while the kids are away..once the kids are out of school it ought to be about the kids, not Kate. geez, I feel like banging my head against the wall!)
Kate has learned how to clean between the glass panels on an oven.

Kate received some bday chocolate from a fan but decided since she loves chocolate so much, would rather her own children eat it.

When someone said that milo hadn't tweeted yet, it just meant she hasn't tweeted so far today. Which is unusual. She typically comes on mid-morning with a few "inspirational" messages for Kate, then announces she is going for her walk with her dog. Etc., etc. But she does ALSO erase all her tweets almost nightly. Everything from yesterday was wiped either late last night or very early this morning.

Kate makes slop. No one will purchase a cookbook "written" by her, much less publish one. She'll have to cobble some "recipes" together and xerox little booklets and sell them for a dollar or so. Ha. She is dreaming if she thinks she can get a cookbook published. Her 15 minutes are up. No one cares about here anymore. She isn't one of the "Housewives". She isn't on tv anymore. She can't even get any tv gigs. It's over.
Before she was on Twitter, I might have thought, "Oh no, she's not going to get a cookbook published, is she?"
Now that I've seen what she passes off as a meal, and her general lack of imagination and basic cooking knowledge, I say, "Oh no, she's not going to get a cookbook published."
Kate had a cookbook ready 3 years ago called: Love is in the mix. It was suppose to come out around the time of the divorce. In 2009, the publisher kept postponing the date, then drop it. Some Christian publisher. Perhaps kate will use stuff from that book, into this one.

I doubt in the last three years she's suddenly become a cooking genius. In fact, I've seen lots of evidence on twitter to argue quite the opposite.
Please tell me kate didn't give food from a fan to her kids. You could inject something into the food without unsealing it. Will it happen? Chances are rare..but why risk it?
Kate exhibits small amount of munchausen by proxy. I'm not saying she has that..but she does get a sick pleasure from the attention she gets from sick kids. Her ability to have compassion for her kids when sick is bothersome. The videoing while vomiting..the gleeful excitement..the banishment to the laundry room instead of a warm bed with love, attention, fluids, medication. It's like she enjoys the fact she gets to appear put upon. She is just so indifferent to their feelings. My jaw dropped when she left with Jon to get the hairplugs even tho the kids all had the flu. Even then her love of travel trumped her children's needs. I feel bad for any child who doesn't have a parents love when feeling ill. Nothing feels better than a cool cloth from mom, getting to watch tv and be cuddled, chicken soup, cold apple juice and fresh clean sheets on a comfy bed.
I thought that old cookbook was printed and dumped overseas. Seems like there was a small clothing line started that was dumped overseas as well.
Maybe it's just me but with the recipes she's shared on her Menu Monday, I don't know, I just do not think I would be so quick to want to promote the fact that I'm writing a cookbook. Not that there is anything wrong with recipes that start with mixes or leftovers on occasion but when all I've seen her do is casseroles, where is the variety? Not everything you make should be a one-pot dish.
All the health crap she pushes I will not be surprised if her next step later in life is to live on fast food. It's just as cholesterol high as her bacon cheese macaroni disaster (a whole package of bacon!).
The cookbook got shelved because it didn't and would not have looked good going through a divorce and everybody knew it. And now? I think she's just going fishing for something to promote. In reality Kate's got nothing. I don't think making a cookbook, if you already use several recipes would take that long to write. Well maybe she just can't find a publisher and I am leaning towards that.

The Bald Head Island trip was year before last. They went RVing last year. Kate twittered that the houses were booked up last year, and they couldn't go. She even said the kids were disappointed. I'm sure if TLC were paying, a house would've been unbooked.
Kate's cookbook? My guess is it will end up being self-published (if at all) and then sold as a fund raiser (a la church cookbooks) to raise money for "The Kate Fund" (similar to the Human Fund). I guess that Kate doesn't realize that all recipes have to be tested and then tested again and not just on your kids. Also, if there are to be pictures you've got to hire a food stylist as your pictures just don't make the food look all that appetizing. Cookbook? Doubtful.

The twins are 11 1/2. Yes they are getting to the age where they are allowed some input in what is appropriate for them. It's about time they had a voice. Edens world review/ summary. I was only paying attention about 20% of the show, and it is only 30 min thank goodness! Eden is going to NYC! To advance her career! Since she has conquered the pageant world, she will help other girls do it too!! How kind of Eden!
Adriana is 12 or so, her school friends think it is very silly she wants to be in pageants and make fun of her. Poor adriana! Here comes Eden, and Edens mom, and Edens hair stylist, and Edens manager, and Edens gay .. Well, I am not sure what he does except be gay and have fights with the others. Adriana wins grand supreme! Her friends come and support her with homemade cardboard signs complete with glitter! Her friends think pageants are cool now that they got to bee on a cable show featuring a 6 year old diva! Adriana gets to wear a really cheap and ill fitting crown the pageant folks probably paid 89 cents for!
Fortunately, most of the show consists of the adults arguing, or sitting together in a coffee shop yakking about why they won't fight because it is all to help Edens career! Eden gets the best one liners in her little confessional bits. Eden is actually a cute kid without all the makeup and in normal clothes.
Edens manager ended the episode saying she might strangle gay guy before Eden gets her career. previews promise gay guy will have tantrums! There will be drama! Momma will get mad and threaten to take Eden and go home! Eden will get to say how kids are more grown up than grown ups sometimes! I want the manager and stylist and gay guy tojust all get in a good old fashioned bar fight complete with broken beer bottles! Or at least wilted bouquets of flowers. Please pleaseplease!!!!

If this is true and Kate is now only tweeting quotes from the children ("w/permission"), they must be getting very curious about Twitter! It takes up such an immense amount of Mommie's time and now they're being quoted via her pink I-phone - don't tell me they won't be looking, Kate. They will and probably already have. No mother I know would even take the chance of having her pre-teen kids peeping in on something as disgusting as Kate Gosselin's twitter feed. She's delusional if she believes she has the power to control what those kids do, see, ask to see, when they're not under her singular control. She should be ashamed of herself. you know...I have always wanted to tweet her regarding 'doing it alone' and how amazing it is. I wish someone would tweet that teachers take care of 30 plus students ALL DAY. Often for more hours than parents do. ALONE. They need to get them out of winter coats/boots, seated, paying attention, you know..teach them! play with them, talk and listen to them, discipline them, deal with tears and fights, and smiles and laughs. FOR EACH AND EVERY KID. Yet Kate can't seem to do this with ONLY 8 kids. Yes, I said ONLY. That is a snow day, the easist days of all as a teacher.
AND, they are not even your kids. So while they may or may not like/respect/love their teacher, it is no where near the relationship they have with their parents. Which makes the parents job easier in some respects (in terms of just 'watching them'..not raising them obvs lol)
So she is grifting to return to Australia? I think her last charity appearance there was a flop. And the expense! Who paid for that? I guess she thinks dragging the twins over there will get her a trip with Steve. Hope Jon says no.

TLC stinks 168 -- Actually, on the show once, KK said that Cara was most like her and Mady was like Jon. The expression on Jon's face when she said that was PRICELESS!! I'm not sure what episode it was, one of the Q & A sessions, I think. I agree with you that Mady's behavior is somewhat like KK's: however, she has exhibited one thing that KK lacks, and that is compassion. More than once, she stood up for one of her sibs when KK was in full-on bully mode (gumgate; when KK threw a fit because the littles were rolling in the grass for example). She's also exhibited tenderness and caring for animals, which is foreign to KK's nature. I think Mady tends to be overly dramatic, but it's mostly an attention seeking device. We need to remember that this is a child who, along with her twin, was essentially told at age 3 1/2 that she was yesterday's news and that she didn't matter any more. Any kid is going to act out in those circumstances. It's normal behavior. I just hope that Jon is able to curb her and encourage her better instincts and teach her some restraint. Lord knows, her "mother" isn't going to.

Kate has not done any fundraiser for Koalas! All she has done since getting back from Australia is get into twitter wars.
There are so many US fundraisers she could participate in. She only gives back if there is something in it for her.
She won't take the kids on any summer vacation unless someone else is picking up the tab, such as the cruise. For example, I think it was mentioned above, the Bald Head Island vacay. TLC covered that, but her excuse last year about the houses being booked was nonsense.

I think that some of them might be coming from a fake account, especially the ones that praise her and she jumps on a RT. However, I would bet the farm and animals that the majority of them come from sheeple who don't have too much going on in the upper loft.

I don't have any ideas about the title, but I believe I recently saw a pic that would be perfect for the cover jacket.
Tribbles are great even if they do multiply at an alarming rate. Speaking of Star Track, Nichelle Nichols is an amazing women. She actually knows what the word gracious means unlike Kate. She was at the university I was going to for an event. She was suppose to make an appearance (about 20 min) at the bar for the event. She arrived and saw that no one was dancing. She started to pull everyone out on the dance floor to dance with her. She ended up staying until the bar closed. I was amazed to see how much life she still has. She is also a strong supporter of women in science and engineering.
