Someone here had suggested that Kate would HATE an intimate little party of two or three families where she wouldn't have the excuse of too many fans for her to spend time with each of them. She'd hate sitting on deck chairs with CJ and the little people, sipping margaritas and talking over old episodes! But what would have been her excuse not to?
If Kate did cancel using the above explanation, then it was because by numbers she means $$$$. Not enough green stuff was coming in from her fans; that's what "didn't meet her expectations." Cuddling up with her fans was never part of her equation--despite all her twitter talk about all the FUN they would all have and how she COULDN'T WAIT to meet them. If Kate did cancel, if the fans believe that, then they must believe that Kate didn't find it worth her while to spend quality time with them. They were just dollars to her, and as a group, they weren't paying her enough to be there with them.
Either reason for cancellation is a lose-lose for Kate's reputation:
(1) If she canceled because the cruise numbers didn't meet her expectations, then she doesn't care about spending time with the die-hard fans. She should have been pleased (right?) to have time to mingle and get to know them more fully--CJ and Gypsi or whomever.
(2) If the cruise canceled due to lack of interest, she's not the draw she thinks she is, and now EVERYONE knows it.
By stating that "the numbers Kate expected did not meet her expectations", they are basically saying that Kate expected more money.
This whole fiasco had nothing to do with meeting her fans- it had to do with how much money she was going to make off of them.
If she truly wanted to meet her fans (like she so desperately told them), this cruise would still be a go.

That was always my thought. If the 200 they expected were on board she could talk to them from afar but not just a few, but money-wise 30 wan't enough to cover expenses.

So it sounds like Kate PLULLED THE PLUG on the cruise, not RC or Alice Travel? OMG, this is so expected. She did not want to be embarrassed AND with the low numbers, how much you want to bet that RC said no free luxury cabin? I can't wait to hear what comes out of this! Even better, Jon stopped her from taking the twins. Whatever, she's so done.
I hope they aren't giving CJ a refund. Kate *might* (MIGHT, mind you, a longshot) have had barely enough interest to make it worthwhile in her brain until CJ took it upon herself to pretend to be the CIA, and Cindy acted very unprofessionally. Kate can deflect at least some blame on them legitimately.

Kate was promoting a contest when she knew darn well that the show was canceled. I think it's called grasping at straws!
I saw a trailer for a new show (?) about monster in laws. It was awful. I mean one was being hauled off in an ambulance. Just give me Duck Dynasty. I love that show. It is funny. The old man and his wife still live in the same little house since they were married and he is a multimillionaire. You would never know. He doesn't own a cell phone and still catches or hunts for most of the food they eat. Uncle Si made Ms. KT an apron on a sewing machine last night because she couldn't find one to cover her big chest. Light entertainment. Nothing heavy.

How did "Miss Organized" run out of baking powder? Isn't this the person who stated she keeps a shopping list on her phone-so she knows when she is low on something? Guess she didn't have a coupon for baking powder the last time she went shopping.
OR-she's just making it up and this tweet is just to show that she is going about her day, and running out of baking powder is her biggest worry of the day.

I think the twins might have been a vag birth although twins are often planned C's due to position, size..but the tups were planned C's and no labor.
I had a general C after 12 hrs labor with DS, then DD a planned C after 3 hrs labor, epidural. The second C was a piece of cake. The recovery from a general plus the incision was way longer. (Baby became stressed due to wrapped cord)Plus my incision opened up the first time, yuk, had to go home, packing the hole myself.

I would be nervous out there in the country with 8 potential kidnap victims, God forbid. I don't mind staying alone where I live in the burbs, but yes, everyone knows Kate is rich and there are 8 targets she tweets the whereabouts of, or expected plans.She often left them alone at the old house.

Let's see. Kate saw all of those thousands of followers (never mind that they might have been bought), and she figured that at least that with all of those numbers, the cruise would have been sold out?
If Kate was the one who pulled the plug because of the numbers, then she was the one who canceled. According to the Alice, though, if that happened, only $400 would be refunded. Why are they giving full refunds? Not that they absolutely should not, but it was clear on the website that this would not be the case.
I think the grounds and house have always had surveillance cameras. The sign posting should have been done years ago. Shoka is also a deterrent. He is not a family pet but is banished outdoors just like the guard dog he is. Frankly I think it is not about protecting the kids but protecting who comes and goes from the house (Steve).

I don't think it's that at all. I think Khate is just very, very cheap when it comes to the kids, and as the boys are at the very bottom of the Khate totem pole they get the least and worst. Why should she spend "her" money on icky boys who could wear potato sacks and be satisfied? I don't believe much in the whole "keep them cute babies" argument. I think she is just, and always has been, incredibly lazy and cheap. Why bother teaching the kids things? Why bother getting rid of the highchairs?
I doubt Kate has had any offers to do anything in the media. She's done. She brings nothing positive to the table ever. And even if she had been offered a spot on CA or whatever else, the correct response would be, "sorry, I can't. I have an obligation to meet with my fans on the Kate cruise". That being said, I do believe she'd dump her fans if something better came along. I do not believe she's been offered anything better. And I think the cruise was canceled because there weren't enough people out there who can stomach her.
Why wouldn't the cruise be cancelled? KATE couldn't even be bothered to promote it!
Kate's kids are all cute,but they are at the awkward stage of teeth growing in, not being comfortable in your own skin, not your own person in matched/ill-fitting clothes. They do not have 'toddler' appeal, or the gracefulness that one twin has while the other seems a bit self-conscious. All normal.But not TV fodder. Let them grow up in peace, each one unique.

As previously mentioned- they are 90 days out and the timing of the cancellation was predicted. This is the only time they can get a full refund. (they=Alice Travel)

I'm wondering if Kate is actually throwing a kids party, or just having a family celebration. Normally, she would have tweeted that she is anticipating 100's (Kate exaggeration) of kids coming over. She did say she was baking treats for school, maybe that will be it this year. I am not saying kids need a big party every year, but I believe without TLC funding the celebration, I could see Kate making it a much more simple celebration.

I sympathize completely with you both. I understand C-sections can be both painful and exhausting. I just find it difficult to drum up the same sympathy for Kate because she manipulated the whole pregnancy in such an underhanded way from the get-go (IMO). I think the actual delivery of the six might be the hardest work she's done before or since.
I do hope the six have a great birthday today and that their mother doesn't make it all about herself.
I haven't had a chance to read all comments but am pleased to read that the cruise has been cancelled; at least the Gosselin part of it. I hope anyone who, in addition to the Gosselin part of it, also booked cabins as part of the regular cruise, gets full refunds too. That might prove tricky.

Oh, Cindy, Cindy. All of that hype about the cruise being nearly full, cabins going fast, only a few left, was all a bunch of you-know-what. You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you just can't fool internet bloggers who kept tally on the number of cabins sold.
I don't think the little stunts that she pulled, like releasing names or having someone doing internet detective work, helped too much in gaining credibility for this agency.
Let's just hope and pray that this devastating news (for Kate only) doesn't ruin the birthday of Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Colin, Joel, and Aiden. She's pretty much a sourpuss most of the time. Let's hope she can at least "pretend" to happy on their birthday.
If nothing else, I hope this fiasco forces CJ to pause and reflect on her possible role in suppressing the numbers. I am convinced that only having a handful of people sign up has everything to do with her taking on the role of "insider" from the get-go. Of course, she couldn't have done this without Cindy's collusion ("stupid" is really too kind a word to describe Cindy), and I don't think it would have happened if Kate had firmly vetoed this as a strategy. They all share the blame for violating others' privacy and scaring people off.

I think you all have hit the nail on the head. It's not as if she and Steve could have spent the entire cruise in the broom closet with sharpies in hand sobbing about the humiliation of the low numbers.
I think she pictured it as several hundred people, with Katie on a stage speaking, intructing, masterminding and organizing. And of course being exhausted enough to hand-flap away any mediocre fans who got too near.
With only a few dozen people, she would have to converse, which she is not capable of doing. Too much up close and personal time for her comfort.
And with only a few dozen fans booking, there cannot possibly be enough profit in the thing to pay for Katie's expenses, let alone Steve's and whatever else her diva demands were. She was supposed to lure cruisers in, no repel and repulse them away.
Wouldn't any of us be embarrassed by such public failure?
Kate will probably keep on believing she is the best of the best of the best with honors. I don't understand how she "plays" these set backs in her head.

It's starting to hit the media about the cruise, an article says it's official, cause of low turn-out. What was Kate expecting? She must have used the baking powder for her last batch of 700 thousand dozen cookies. But what about the running list on the iphone? What a contrast - last year a whole show devoted to her running around in her stilettos, setting up a TLC-funded party and saying "I am so stressed" at least 20 times, and this year, cake in a box. Well, kids do not care, I am happy they are enjoying a simple birthday and I hope it's a happy occasion for them all.

Dwindle (51) - yes indeed! My oldest turns 19 tomorrow, and I'm happy to say that he enjoyed a peaceful, no-pressure, mediocre childhood. Now he's a student at Belmont U. in Nashville studying Music Business. He loves it there!
And . . . he was a c-section baby after 19 hours of labor. Ugh! That was quite an ordeal. My second was a scheduled c-section, and it was so much easier than the first. And my third was adopted from China. None of my kids arrived the "natural" way. Of course - Kate's didn't either by any stretch of the imagination!

Well Kate can either get Steve to run into town for baking powder OR she can make her own substitute (which she can google to find out how) OR she can just quit tweeting today just to let her tweeties know she's pretending to be supermom again (which she is not). She's as transparent as glass.
And I think she cancelled this tour on the advice of her boobyguard who probably has a half a teaspoon more sense than she has, after he took a look at the one serious wingnut of a fan who took it upon herself to vet the people who were thinking about signing up for it. He may have deemed it unsafe with the kind of people Kate attracts (CJ) and too much work for him to keep her (CJ) at bay for a week on the high seas.
Looks like she is going to ignore the cruise cancellation. She had to have known for days. Nothing like screwing over what few fans you have. What a diva!!!

I agree with you, Auntie. I can't drum up any for her either. Most of us don't expect a medal or Mother-of-the-Year award for childbirth, but Kate does. (She probably checks her mailbox every day. :)) And I'm sure she reminds the kids of what she endured for THEM, the pain, the suffering, the great tummy requiring tucks--oh, the humanity! Who wants to bet today is really Kate's day--the day SHE, yes, she, did it! Raise your hand.
It's so ironic that on HER special day--the 8th anniversary of the day she became a special mother of *8*--her cruise is confirmed as canceled. Karma has such a sense of humor. I love him.

I bet she doesn't have anything else going on during cruise time. Her last book bombed, her cruise only sold 30 tickets, Kate Plus 8 was cancelled, Twist of Kate never got off the ground...all due to a lack of interest in Kate. She thinks she can still pull in ratings, but all the facts show she can't.
I find it odd that she blamed her horrible perfomance on DWTS on divorce drama. The divorce was finalized in December 2009. DWTS wasn't until March or April 2010--months after the divorce. She just doesn't want to admit she's too lazy to put in the effort. She wants huge payouts with little or no effort on her part. I don't think she quite understand that her days of raking in huge sums of cash for doing little or nothing are over. I wonder what her reaction will be when it finally sinks in...

By channeling Betty Crocker she means that she's going to bake a cake from a box just like I do. Although I can cook, I'm not a baker.
All that baking to be done - 50 pounds of flour, and no baking powder. She just wanted an excuse to tweet Betty Crocker or to leave the house. She never bakes alone - she says. She is probably running all over creation trying to find a 20 pound sack of organic baking powder and the baker helper won't get the baking done before kids get home. Why can't I be organized like her.

KK cancelled the cruise because RC and/or Alice Travel told her not enough people had signed up, so they'd cover the cost of her cabin but she'd have to pay for the twins and anyone else (nanny, Sleeze Boy, assistant) out of her own pocket. Cruisin' -- The Beach Boys! One of my favorite groups. I didn't make the connection between your handle and "Fun, Fun, Fun" until you mentioned it. Isn't something similar in "I Think We're Alone Now"?
Use a box mix, make a sheet cake, use canned frosting or make frosting, done in less than an hour. Easy to make frosting with confectioners sugar and butter or cream cheese. Anyone can whip up a cake from a mix, 5 or 10 min to mix, 30 min to cook. I made dh a pound cake from scratch for his birthday last weekend. Took about 15 or 20 min to mix, one hour to cook. I had to remember to take everything out of the fridge in the morning, all the ingredients mix better at room temp. Forget something? I call a neighbor and borrow it. Just like they call need to borrow something. It is what neighbors do.
I don't see what's wrong with a boxed cake mix in the first place. They taste good, they're inexpensive and they're no fuss. I LOVE Betty Crocker's German Chocolate mix.

Of course, now all the tweeters are calling her out for claiming--several times--that the cruise was almost sold out. Yeah, I think she's got a little egg on her face.
Whatever reason the cruise was cancelled, I'm relieved for the twins. It really made my heart sick that she was taking them along for this "meet and greet".
Why can't she just take them on a vacation purely for fun? I would not begrudge Kate taking the twins on a vacation so she could spend some one on one (or in this case, two) time with her older daughters. It would be a lovely gesture and I'm sure it would mean the world to M & C.
But as Kate has proven, time and time again, she uses her children as a means to remain relevant. No cameras, no peeps, no pseudo celebrity attention for mom...then, no go.
So sad.
Sincerely hoping that the tups birthday is a happy one and that their mom doesn't make it all about how much work she had to do, how exhausted she is and how they all soooo appreciated HER effort.

I had the best stake when I went to the outback stake house.
It was an 8oz stakes with two crab cakes and a fully loaded potato.
There are a few celebrity cruises like Paula Deen, Bon Jovi, Blake Shelton and several others that are filling up really fast.
Wonder what happened to Kate? Could it be that she never, ever bonded with her fans, when she had fans? She found them to be a disturbance and shooed them away "get away, leave me alone, pap people are bad people" well now she needs fans and there aren't many out there.
Sad, but funny. She made enemies of everyone who ever interviewed her, every show she appeared on, every fan who "just wanted to take a photo of her and her kids" and anyone who even said "Hi, how are you Kate" and Kate did what? She didn't even smile, she was sarcastic, she was silent and she was above everyone else.
So when I am in N.Carolina this Spring I'll see if Kate is back at "one of her families favorite vacation spots" Bald Eagle. Do you think she can afford that now?
Who buys 50 lbs of flour? A Pizza Joint might, but why would you, even though you have 8 kids, need 50 lbs of flour? You have to open it, shovel it into zip lock bags and not to mention carry it into the house with the 50 lbs of dog food.
Maybe she should try living like most families do today "buy it as you need it" and that way you do not have any waste. It is proven that buying in bulk can be wasteful to the average family.
Not like Kate has a lot of friends to bake for: hospice centers/dialysis centers/nursing homes/Amer Red Cross Crisis Centers/Salvation Army Centers who provide for those burned out of their homes.
50 lbs of dog food is a waste as well as 50 lbs of flour. Over feed the dog? Or did she shovel the dog food into zip lock bags too?

Baking powder is definitely something you notice finishing, and you put it on your list, duh. Not buying her lie. I guess she is worried people will be able to tell the cake she tweets is not homemade. Such deviousness, all for show.

All of Cindy's lies about it being full have damaged her credibility. She works in the cruise industry and will sell other cruises. You start getting that kind of reputation and you could ruin your career. She has no one to blame but herself for using such juvenile reckless tactics. Oh and you didn't fool anyone here Cindy. We can smell a liar. They smell just like Kate.

I absolutely agree, PLUS it may have been the low numbers...a combination of security and lack of interest. For the small number of people going, it wasn't profitable for the cruise line, for security, and to have to worry about this nut running around.

1. Twist of Kate-(didn't make it)
TLC just didn't know how to tailor this to Kate's unique personality and strengths. They just couldn't help her.
2. Cook Book-(didn't make it)
Jon's fault. If he hadn't gotten caught fooling around, all her book deals would have still gone through.
3. Her Last Book-(Bombed didn't sell)
Zondervan didn't know how to promote her properly. They just couldn't help her.
4. Kate Plus 8-(cancelled)
TLC left her, just like all the other people in her life who leave her.
5. The Marathon-( I bet she didn't run the whole thing)

Cruisin -- I've seen the Beach Boys in concert several times, mostly when they were touring with Jan and Dean. It's been a while, though. How about special Mother's Day surprises our kids have done for us or memories of what we did for our own moms as youngsters?
One year my little ones proudly brought me breakfast in bed at 6AM. I guess they thought it was like Christmas, the earlier the better. Cheerios with the milk already on, and a glass of juice and some cold toast. I will never forget their BEAMING proud faces as they paraded this into my room at that awful hour. I think the eldest was only about 7.
I would give anything to have that back, just for few minutes. It goes so fast.

Ahhh! Never loses a moment for grifting purposes. She also dissed a lady who offered her a recipe, but agreed to accept it , although will never break tradition from her own cake for birthdays .Well, the tups have had a variety at Disney, the carnival, bouncy place, last year, and I remember the round chocolate one for the twins' 7th, but a pizza-facsimile for another celebration (shown in her book)
Stupid is as stupid does..what is katie Gump going to do now?....we know she sucks at everything she does..she's not even good at "run-angg" . I see lots of kiosks at the mall that are looking for people to sell covers for pink phones...maybe she could do that. She's got the clothes and the hooker heels and she can pretend all the people walking in the mall are her fans and when they stop to buy a phone cover, she can autograph their receipts....it would get her out of the orphanage AND she could tell her kids that mommy has to go to work...at least it would be the first time she was telling the truth...oy!

Well, well, well, just as we predicted- the Kate Kruise is canceled.
I am leaning towards Kate canceling it after coming to the terrifying realization that she would have to mingle with the lunatic fringe. I think she actually believed that 200 people would sign up and she could treat it like one of her speaking engagements. She talks- they listen- she splits. Instead she was going to have to get to know very personally, the tiny group of sheeple who signed up.
What bothered me to no end about this was that yet again, Kate was going to not only get a free cruise but also a big paycheck off the backs of mediocre people who don't even have 1/16th of what she has. She has to get it out of her head that those days are over. The citizens and taxpayers of PA gave & gave & gave & gave. TLC bankrolled them for five years. It is time for Kate to stop begging for free rides and handouts and support her kids HERdamnself. Hollywood has said no. Her sheeple, who will defend Kate's exploitation of her kids to the death, but refused to go into debt themselves to pay Kate's mortgage- said no. The media has said no. We have been saying hell no! for over four years now. Despite every signal she's been given to go away, she won't. She calls it "determination." I call it being a complete and utter embarrassment to women, a butt of jokes and horrible role model to her children, especially her daughters. How dare she try to claim she's trying to teach her kids the value of hard work when she herself is avoiding real work at any and all costs?

I'm generally uncomfortable with the idea of famous people "owing" their fans things, but this is one situation that I firmly believe that Kate owes her fans a big thanks for signing up for the cruise. I mean, there were what, 30-35 people who signed up? It wouldn't take long to send each of them a personal letter, thanking them for their support, apologizing for having to cancel, and wishing them a happy summer. She could send them an autographed photo, too--preferably one that hasn't been seen by the public, so they have a "limited edition" autographed photo.
Of course, that would take class and consideration for others, not to mention a bit of work and spending some money for postage--not Kate's strong points.

WTF! It's sunny but 58 and very breezy in my neck of the woods. 2 hours north at the Wicked Witch of Wernersvile's it's 60. She has had sick kids for weeks, why is she letting them get in the pool? For her "webisode" or twattersode?. To stick to her "script"? Pictures for her stupid blog? Maybe she doesn't want to let down the creeper tweeties who worship the kids. Has she lost what's left of her freakin' mind?
I feel like driving up there and yanking those poor blue tupcicles out of that pool and calling CYS on her. Sheesh.

Once A Viewer, great minds think alike! I had just posted my post about the greatest mother on earth letting her kids swim in this cold weather, and I then I saw you posted the same thing. I think the greatest gift she could give the tups on the "greatest Gosselin birthday" is getting a full psychiatric evaluation for herself.
Who in the world goes on & on about their woes of bed rest and childbirth like Kate does? Something is very wrong with this narcissist to continuously be seeking pity for herself. Most mothers simply make their kids birthdays a fun day and not make it about themselves.
Someone on twitter brought up a good point. If someone who had booked the cruise also booked airfare, is the airfare also going to be refunded?

Is it safe to assume that the kids' birthday parties from here on out will all be swim parties at the house? In early May? When there's still a chance of the temps being in the 50s and low 60s?

BED BATH AND BEYOND has a stellar reputation regarding returns. My experience involved a coffee maker wwhich I had purchased maybe a few months prior to it breaking down. I had misplaced the store receipt and had little hope
BB@B would honor my request to replace the appliance. Imagine my surprise when they not only didn"t question my request, but printed out a new store receipt!!
Good grief, I can't believe she feels compelled to encourage the swimming to force a so-called "tradition". The weather there today is basically the same as here - actually almost the mid-50's now with a bit of a stiff wind. Heated pool or no, she's just plain crazy.

I know- most of us downplay that part and talk about the happiness of the occasion and it's about THEM, not the mom or dad. My kids like to look at their baby books and photos the night before.

It's interesting. One of my friend's daughter was a micro premie. Born at 26 weeks. Both mom and baby almost died. Emergency c-section some of the worst pain my fried she's every been through. Now 13 years later both are healthy happy and every birthday the pain she went through is never mentioned, its just a reminder of just how far her daughter has come. It would never cross my friends mind to think about what SHE went through that day. It goes without saying that it was worth it. What mother wouldn't endure anything to ensure their baby was ok. Her ability to make this all about her is astonishing.
And Kate is a Twit I think you are right about what they went through in the NICU. My friends girl is the most amazing pain tolerance. When she was young would have ear infections for weeks and NEVER mention any pain. My friend thinks that all the poking and prodding she went through in the NICU made everything else seem like a walk in the park.
Ha ha, CJ can spin it all she wants, but it doesn't matter because she got played! lol
My cousin had baby issues--multiple miscarriages, and had to stay on bed rest for the two children she carried to term. The first one she spent a month on bed rest; for the second, she was on bed rest for five months. How do I know this? Because I remember when she was going through it, not because she constantly reminds people of it. I don't think she considers it an open secret, but I doubt if she'd be comfortable talking about it much, because it was a scary time. She doesn't wear it as some sort of warped badge of honor.

Right now it is 58 degrees in Wernersville. This is NOT swimming weather! There's also a good breeze going, which acts like an air conditioner on a wet body. She's nuts.
Oh.My.Goodness......I just didn't know what a great day this was going to turn out to be......The Kruise with Kate has been cancelled.......She's land-locked this summer.......yea!
And, all the moaning and groaning again about the bedrest......she reminds me of my grandmother who never let my grandfather forget the one time he ran off the road and almost hit a sign near their house....we couldn't ever go by it without her pointing it out again.....Get Over IT, Kate....I can't remember what it was like to have my kids......isn't that what they say? You forget the pain or else you would never have another?
I am so ready for you to just totally drop off the radar and for me to not even care if you do........but if and when you ever give those kids (yes, those kids....you treat them with as much sensitivity as if you are herding cats) some privacy in their lives, I think you will be much better off.

Angie: I agree about the flour, cause it can go buggie, and freezing it, I don't know about that. But, buying 50 lb bag of dog food is fine. I have 2 medium size dogs and I buy, when on sale 50 lb bag of dog food and another small bag of fancy dog food, and that lasts about 2-2 1/2 months. That being 1&1/2 cups for one dog and 2 cups for the other a day. I see nothing wrong with buying 50 lb bag of dog food. I usually buy my pets food in bulk.
My baby fish are 6 wlks old and are about half an inch long. They have very good eye sight, they come to the top when ever I am near their tank. Little buggers!

Why cant this twit just say the kids are having a wonderful time and leave it at that. Why does every conversation she has come around to always being about her. It's just very frustrating. I have 3 kids, 2 were easy births, 1 was terrible, but as soon as the baby was here i never really thought much about it, let alone mention it every chance i got about how awful that delivery was.

Obviously one of those people that swims only so she can SAY they swam and not for the enjoyment of it all. I wouldnt be swimming in that weather even on a birthday. No wonder they are squealing.
It's 91° in Northern Cali today, and my work is done, kids are picked up, lawn in mowed & fertilized, BBQ meat is marinating for dinner, just finished helping daughter with her Pinewood car ... I'm hitting MY POOL kHate, with my plastic martini glass, my best buddy (Lab/Golden mix) and some tunes ...

They're SWIMMING? She is insane. It is chilly and windy. I don't care if the pool is heated to spa temperature. The air is cold! The kids are probably squealing because they are freezing and just want some hot chocolate. I can't believe that she would let them swim on a day like this. She has no common sense whatsoever.

I helped deliver our first kid with midwife and mostly did 2nd kid without (daughter came EARLY and once it started it wasnt going to stop.) I'm thinking it was a stressful, pain in the backside. I *know* my (ex)wife had a brutal time of it, all natural on both births. She probably tore two-thirds of the skin off my forearm from scrathing and clawing at me.
But all either of us remember were the two greatest days of our lives. Congrats again (early) to all you great Mom's out there, enjoy your day on Sunday. And be sure to tweet about it every few minutes.

Oh, Kate also, kids don't really care where the cake came from, or if it's organic or store bought, or make from a box. Cake is cake. most everyone I know, just buys a sheet cake and decorates it. maybe once in a blue moon, someone will actually make a cake, and that is usually a box cake mix. If I had 8 kids like Kate I would buy a sheet cake, and be done with it. Or for 2 kids and hubby a small sheet cake and have Jewels decorate, geez, even Walmart does cake decorating for your birthday cakes. (that's at super Walmarts) There is nothing supper mom about Kate, just a DRAMA QUEEN!
Agree 1000% that it was the sextuplets who delt with more pain, fear, problems then the false womb that held them. I still remember learning that a lot of doctors didn't, or still don't, think that preemies can feel pain. So Khate, were you sharing your morphine? YOU chose to do that to your body. They had NO choice, and still don't.
Just saw the cake, Kate made, I hope that is 1 of 6, cakes Kate made, cause man that is one tiny cake for 9 people. So that was all the fuss, was about a little tiny cake? A 9 x 12 sheet cake would have been fine. Kate you are laughable.
Forgot to add, Khate not only chose to put her body (not to mention emotions) through a HOM pregnancy, she paid good money for the experience!
I am sorry, but why she did she make such a tiny cake. It doesn't even look like a regular 8 inch round and what is that cupcake on top? I don't know, she is the strangest woman ever. I can't believe that tiny little cake was what all the fuss was about. I am sure she prattled around with all day. Maybe it is the angle but it is tiniest birthday cake I have ever seen. At least you can't mess up chocolate surely. My one son and his 2 friends would like at that and say nice teaser, mom, but where is the rest of it.

The kids are swimming on their birthday because without TLC Kate can't come up with a creative thought of her own, not to mention she is too cheap to pay for a party without TLC footing the bill.
I think the cruise was canceled due to a lack of interest combined with regular passengers not wanting to book because of Kate, or canceling a booking after learning Kate would be on this cruise.
No wonder her kids are SICK all the time. How did she ever keep the pool a secret until after the divorce? Who knew she was so proud of it when they tried to pretend it didn't exist for so long. Must have been difficult. The kids will be sick again no doubt. She is certifiable.
