Dancing with the All-Stars

ABC makes the big announcement today, along with one slot for a vote-in candidate. Will the shopping Kart return or at least be on the ballot?

I don't think Kate will be on the list - she was so rude, difficult and disrespectful towards her pro partner Tony as well as the costume, hair and makeup people that nobody wants to see her again.
If, despite that, she really does come back, whoever is paired with her should get a huge bonus, similar to what soldiers on extremely dangerous missions get. Like those soldiers, anyone who works with Kate risks getting post-traumatic stress disorder.

BWAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAA!!
Kate's not even on the vote list! Oh we all so called it--Kate or her obsequious sidekick leaked the dating rumor to deflect from the fact that Kate won't be on DWTS.
It's not that I don't want Kate to get work where she wants, on TV, but she is just not deserving at all. That, and it just allows her to justify leaving her kids and part-time parenting.
BWAAAAA!
Made my day.

After three months of conjecture, Dancing with the Stars hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet announced the cast for the fifteenth season, which will see their most popular contestants return for one more shot at the Mirror Ball Trophy!

Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars will feature Gilles Marini, Pamela Anderson, Kelly Moncao, Shawn Johnson, Melissa Rycroft, Joey Fatone, Helio Castroneves, Joey Fatone, Drew Lachey, Bristol Palin, Apollo Ono, Kirstie Alley and Emmet Smith.

Plus, for the first time, fans will be able to vote for the final All-Star -- it will be either Kyle Massey, Sabrina Bryan or Carson Kressley!

Just saw the list, and there is good news and bad news.
The good news - Kate is NOT a contestant. Yippee!
The bad news - Bristol Palin is. Who in the world decided that Bristol is a 'star'? Her only claim to fame is that her mother was a vice-presidential candidate four years ago. Bristol herself has no talent, no achievements, no personality - just a nice, average, dull person.

Tucker's Mom said... 13

I claim it is because she does not deserve a second chance. But, really I am just relieved that she won't get all the stah treatment again. I would not be able to stand seeing Miss Kate groomed and glammed and grinning.

I want her to stay home and be a MOM!

We're allowed to gloat on this one, folks. But, I still contend that we're happy not because there's just so much about Kate we don't like, I think we're grinning ear to ear because she was a nasty, entitled, whiny biotch on that show.
They bent over backwards for her and what does she do? She takes her personal gripe out on Coupon Cabin's site, making a mountain out of a molehill.
Tsssssssssssssssssssssss.
That's what a burning bridge sounds like.

Fan**freaking**tastic! Finally, a nice, widely spread turn down for Kate. All her 'determination' did not work this time.

And I, for one, do care if she gets hired for TV. I hope no one will hire her for anything. Everything she has is because of her 8 children, if not for them, she would be the nobody she really is. She does not deserve one more pittance of anything after all she has done. She made enough money off her kids backs to last her a lifetime if spent cautiously. Most people don't make that kind of money ever. She deserves nothing.

I'm anxious to see how she spins this latest rejection, or will she let the sheeple handle this one?

Oh, this is a good story.
Kate was on Leno, I believe. She was a guest right after the announcement of the cast, before she even darkened the doors of the ballroom.
Kate boasted that she'd win and Leno asked her about the competition.
Buzz Aldren?
Pfft. Check. Gone.
Pam Anderson?
Check (as she nodded and bounced her leg)
So... flash forward to Pam being interviewed in the Celebriquarium after getting high marks for her dance. I can't remember the question she was asked, but it was something like "you're at the top of the leader board, beating the competition" and Pam said, "check' with a big old check hand motion.
It was clearly a dig at Kate, like, "hey biotch, how do you like me now?".

Tucker's Mom said... 48

To add to the "check" story, when Kate "checked" Pam off the competition, she made a big check hand motion. When Pam mimicked that, I knew it was an "in yo' face" kind of think aimed at Kate.
But according to Kate, they were just best buds in make up. Yeah, right.

Move over, Dwindle! I'm joining you in the closet!

I used to be of the opinion that ANY job without the kids was a good job for Kate. I don't think that anymore. I don't want her to get a TV gig that takes her away from them for long periods at a time or that further feeds her narcissistic supply.

She was given an opportunity to have a place in the entertainment world. Emphasize given. As in 'handed to to her'. These were extremely rare opportunities and she proceeded to blow them to smithereens by acting like a hideous shrew. So that's it. No more chances. I'm sure the 'bizness' thinks "fool us once Kart, shame on you.. fool us twice...."

A quick google showed that it was late March when Tony made the crack about needing therapy after dealing with Kate. Since she shot back on her CC blog of irrelevance, I'm wondering if she knew then she had no chance.

Kate is so used to asking for things and then recieving them that she can't even fathom someone not kissing her orange flat ass. She honestly believes she's getting a dating show! I hope she can't take another rejection and goes away because this is getting old....quickly

Kate's Twitter feed on Twazzup has tripled since the announcement and everyone is so happy she didn't get on DWTS. I mean, she gloats about having 100K followers but the vast majority of comments on her feed are hating.
I truly don't know how she can take it. She must be really living in denial to just let the hate roll off her shoulders. How she can take comedians making fun of her as a good thing, I just can't fathom.
Kathy Griffin's skit with George Takai was hilarious and Kate just loved the attention, making besties with Kathy (who would befriend Satan if it benefitted her). Kate loved the Halloween wig and would not change her hair for a long time, despite people laughing at her reverse, badly-streaked mullet, replete with hair curtain.
I'm surprised that Kate hasn't commented on Kimmel's piece. Ha! So funny! Look, he's talking about me!!

And that is the power of DWTS. It can revive a career, or simply make a celebrity more well known and well-liked than ever before. Or in Kate's case, it can show the viewing audience the ugly truth. I think it was Emmit Smith who said that after DWTS, so many more people would recognize him on the street as "that football player that was on DWTS!" and want his autograph. The only celeb in recent memory who made nearly as bad an impression on me as Kate was that talk show host, Wendy Williams. Ugh! She was unpleasant. She would already know. I'm not sure she was ever really considered (or possibly even interested for sure, although she would have done it anyway in desperation).

Bristol Palin is probably supposed to be the "kate" factor this time around, but with less risk of public rebellion, lol. There are a lot of people who don't like her, but she doesn't generate the intense dislike that kate does and DWTS would know this. She will basically be ignored, as Kate would have been, until she's gone. Also, there appeared to be much negativity from the DWTS staff re: kate, but you didn't hear that about Palin. Despite the political angle, people seemed to like her okay personally on that show, from what I recall. At least she TRIED! Kate cooked her own goose, and it's really starting to burn now, lol.

If that's a pic of Our Kate getting her hair fried today in NYC, who is that styling her hair, not Her Jason? And look at her, crowded in with all sorts of regular ol' rich women. Umm, did someone not give her the weather report, the storm warning? And is the Jamester at home babysitting again? Or has her vacay time run out just in time for Kate to run off to the big city? Looking forward, not, to a twat from the Fig & Olive.

Signed, another closet happy dancer.

I wonder if Jamie joined Kate for another NYC girls weekend. Can't imagine she'd come all the way into PA and not join Kate.
I wonder who's watching the kids and if Jamie would actually leave her own kids at the compound with a way-too-young-sitter.

Oh it's a good thing Miss Organized had those knives in the butcher block labeled. Now there's no guessing which knife goes into which ABC exec's back. Maybe she saved a few for the haters. Maybe I should go back to the closet too? ;)

Here's an idea Kate and I'm gonna try to propose it with as little snark as possible - which is difficult for me. Come clean. Admit you have NPD and admit all the lies, damage etc.. Then broach a reality show on your recovery. This would not only line your coat pockets with gold, but would honestly help your children, your ex husband, your parents, siblings, old friends. IE everyone you've bured bridges with. It might also help your sheeple and ordinary people dealing with your condition. I say you go for this cause I don't think you have any other options available. I don't want to see you return to nursing. I don't want my family members or anyone else to ever be subjected to your bedside manner in the mental condition you now find yourself in.

I will vote for Carson, because I loved his persistence and self deprecation. Plus, he's funny as hell. He can't dance well at all, but he is so entertaining and seems like a really nice guy.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Even though Kate thinks that she & Taylor Swift are the ONLY famous people from PA, she is (of course!) wrong. Carson Kressley was raised in Kate's neck of the woods-ish and graduated from Gettysburg college.

At the height of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" Carson was here in Central PA for an appearance. My MIL was at the Macaroni Grill in Hbg. waiting for a table, when she swore she saw a man who looked like CK eating dinner. He had on sunglasses, but as a fan of the show she could have sworn it was him. She said nothing to her party, but kept looking over at him. Finally, the man motioned for her to come over. Thrilled, she did and he invited her to sit down. It was Carson! He told her he didn't want to make a scene, but she was just so darn cute he wanted to say hello. He signed a napkin for her and gave her a hug. When it came time for her party to get their bills, the waitress told them that Mr. Kressley had taken care of the tab!

That is a star. That is class. That is true appreciation and gratitude for your blessings. He is all that Kate isn't.

wayward, love that story about Carson. I saw him riding at the Devon Horse Show a few years back. Lots of folks calling his name because Queer Eye was huge at the time. He was just walking around the fair like anyone else and what he lacks in dancing he makes up for in equestrian prowess.
He was quite elegant on a rather gargantuan and magnificent black Friesan.

I expect that DWTS weighed Kate's negative impact on the rest of the cast and crew against the potential ratings draw when the decision was made. Kate's toxic personality no doubt took its toll on everyone involved with the show. Not worth it to bring her back.

The pro partners will be announced Aug 13. There are some stars who have had the same pro(Shawn and Bristol both had Mark). From an article at USAToday:

"The stars won't all have their original dancing partners (the pairings will be announced Aug. 13). But "the level of competition is going to be quite intense," Green says. "And we'll probably have to recalibrate the judging because otherwise it will be all 9s and 10s right out of the box."

From the same article:

Some of the stars appeared before TV critics: Palin reasons that "the press is going to talk about me no matter what, so I might as well have fun."

Now who does Bristol remind us of?

Sorry Kelly, but who the hell would want to watch a reality show about Kate's recovery. NO ONE is interested in her anymore except Milo, Leigh, Mr. Lettuce Wraps and Paige. We can see it unfolding before us and it is very satisfying if I do say so myself. And yes, we can all look forward to a big twat from the F & O tonight about how great her friends were there that gave her such good service. And of course the company, Ted and Jason and their oh so dramatic stories they love to share with Kate. You know, off topic, when one used to be sex kitten like Kate (before she met Jon....we've all heard the stories about her being a bit slutty back then), it must kill her to be single with 8 monkeys on her back when she probably looks hotter than she ever has. Now that would be depressing I think. Those 8 kids have to be getting in the way of her dreams of finding love again.

One more thought. Once those kids get access to social media, it is going to be ugly. I have no doubt there will be people out there doing their best to tell those kids what their mother did to them. It will no doubt happen. I feel so sorry for those kids. Way to go Kate. See what you have created in your quest for fame and money.

Bearswife, I dont know if this is the 'right' thing to do, but I only grind the herbs that I air dry, not the ones I freeze. I freeze some of my Genovese Basil coz I like the full green leaves in some dishes. I use my blender/chopper and throw them in there, stems and all. Not all stems will chop, so i pick them out later if need be. Put in a clean GLASS jar and store in fridge. One year I put a few grains of uncooked rice in the jar to absorb any moisture, but I wondered if the rice absorbed some good oils.So no rice this year. If they are not completely dried, they will mold, even in fridge, by about February. So sad.

If anyone has other ideas, please please post!

Just another nail in Kate's coffin and she's going to have to face reality sooner or later. I'm reminded of the B. Quilliam quote "There is a fine line between dreams and reality, it's up to you to draw it." Kate, you need to get out your Sharpie and a ruller so you get that line straight, or maybe you can just use the red equator line that was peeled off the globe.

Kate is a Witch said... 122

A few things:

1. That's not Jason doing her hair in that picture. She's been shoved off onto someone else. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

2. I am not at ALL surprised about DWTS. The main reason why? WHO WOULD HAVE AGREED TO DANCE WITH THIS HORRID BITCH? I mean, really, who??? No one.

3. Someone asked about Kate and how amazing it is that she doesn't seem to be aware of ANYTHING going on in the world, no matter how large. But that's how narcissists ARE. I've known one for years and I will never forget actually trying to talk to her about the 1992 presidential election. SHE WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL WITH ONE OF THE CANDIDATES. But I swear to God, she cocked her head at me like "what the hell are you talking about?" I explained to her, at length, her connection to this candidate (third party candidate, he didn't win) and tried and tried to jog her memory! She didn't even go to a big high school! She finally waved her hand at me dismissively, rolled her eyes and said "Oh I don't KNOW" really pissy and then launched into a story about her favorite person, her. BUT ANYWAY, BACK TO ME. LOL. That's how they're wired. They just don't even seem to have the brain capacity to think about things that don't involve them or other people in the world.

4. I think the DWTS thing does bother. How could it not? With each passing month, it has to be more and more obvious, even to her dim bulb, that she's dead in the water and is not going back on TV or back to those fat paychecks.

It's a good day. :)

Ok, a little OT time: In Prevention Mag, there is an article on Marie Osmond, and how she deals with stress. They has parts from her journal she keeps, and Marie talks about me-time. Marie has 8 kids, a husband, works full time(ok it's in show-biz) and manages her doll and whatever business. Marie says that she trys and finds some me-time even if it is 2 extra min in the shoer, or instead of answering e-mail or planning one of her kids birthday party, she takes a nap, listening to a audio book, in her dressing room between shows. Kate has way tooooo much me-time. September issue.

Then here is something Kate did not even mentioned on the CC blog about school supplies: Tax-free holiday days. Not all states do it, but a lot do. Kate never mentioned this. This article is in the magazine: Womans World. August 6, issue.

I'm fairly even keeled but there are days when I have to have to remind myself that the patient simply can't help it. I watched an interview with a nurse coworker of Kate's and the woman clearly didn't like her. I believe it was at the dialysis center. She also alluded to the fact that she was short on patience and sympathy. I can't quote the woman word for word but that was the gist. I do fear for any future patients of Kates.

Dwindle..I just sniffed my own armpits in anticipation of the onslaught of Hater comments. I think I'm good to go but I might be dressed funny ;)

Yep, Jamie left the kids in PA. If I was her ex husband, I'd be p*ssed that she was spending her custody time in NYC without them. I'd be p*ssed that she dumped them with a sitter, when everyone knows where they are because Kate has been tweeting about it.

My how the mighty have fallen, here’s Kate getting her hair done and she’s in with the normal folk. No private room for Kate today. I guess Ted and Jason had more “important” clients to tend to. Is she having her extensions redone? I can’t tell from the picture but it kind of looks like it.

Knock knock!
Who’s there?
Karma.
Karma who?
Karman into the pool of obscurity Kate, the water’s fine.

Anything you want to bring will be fine! So kind of you to bother!

After the Red Solo Cup song, how about a little "YMCA" just for fun? Hey! this closet has a kitchen! OH! and a bathroom, thank goodness!

How can ya'll for get the plastic garbage bag for the closet floor?

And the tin foil for the pizza and make sure the wine is organic.

We can't have a mess or fating pizza and wine.

I'm with Dwindle, I don't even breathe her name in real life (besides, most people would just say, "who? Octomom?").

But I can celebrate here! /happy dance

I think it would be interesting if we had a non-monetary betting pool about when she gets a real job. There could be categories: one month, 1-3 months, 4-6 months, 7-12 months, 12 months or longer.

In fact, the entire thrown together menu sounds tempting.

I think we are all high on SATISFACTION right now!

Dwindle and company.... I am jumping up and down clapping with glee. I can't wait for the party. Oh and wayward with popcorn full of surprises and sitting on the tape line. Eating Pizza with homegrown organic herbs off fancy plates and linens and lots to drink from our fancy stemware. I am so excited I could burst. This will be the best time ever:)

I think everyone can rest easy about the "dating show." I do think that was a ploy to detract from the fact that she wouldn't be on DWTS All-Stars.

There's no dating show. I'll eat my shoes if there is.

Dmasy said... 165

I have never participated in another blog. Wonder if any others are as stimulating as this one?

You guys make my day! I wish we were planning a real party!

Dwindle said... 166

Seriously, folks, in my 'real' life, these ARE the best parties! Just a few hours notice and everyone just shows up with whatever they can bring, put on some music, if you have hot dogs or something and a couple of bags of ice... Folks end up having a nice time and it is no effort. Well, I DO scrub the toilet before they come, but that's all they get.

Next up on our play list - Spirit in the Sky!

Katespeak translated: "trying 2 get my world back in order"....translated: I din't make it on DWTS (and today everyone knows it) and they called me a skunk (cuz of hair)and my dating show will go nowhere so I must go to NYC so I can pretend I am a stah "to get MY WORLD back in order". "it wll take some time to get reorganized" translated....because I am in NYC and won't be home for a few days and I must have time to come up with some more lies, sunshine and rainbows....thus "reorganize"

How about homemade s'mores?

To paraphrase a well-known poem:

Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright;
The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light,
And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout;
But there is no joy in Gosselinland - mighty Katie has struck out.

SHOPPING CART! I've arrived and I just picked up a bunch of white plastic chairs and a label maker. If anyone doesn't want to sit on the duct tape line that Wayward is making I'll label a chair for you. However, you will have to cover yourselves with a black plastic garbage bag as I will have NO dripping of sauce from Dwindle's pizza getting on your clothing or my pristine white chairs.
Later I'll bring out my leftover fish in paper from Fig and Olive and we can share a bite.

I'm so excited for this party. I've been waiting all summer to pull out my tube top dress and my 4 inch hooker heels. Didn't have time for the boob job, so I stuffed my top with some kleenex. We can all use it later for dabbing our tears from laughter, because you know I'm in to recycling and all that stuff.

***************

What an insensitive and rude remark. If you knew anything about PTSD, you wouldn't attribute doing a freakin' reality show with Kate Gosselin to a soldier's PTSD experience, even as a poor attempt at humor.
