The American Psychiatric Association is debating whether to include parental alienation as a mental health syndrome in its 2013 revision of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
Much like last year, Kate, who said she didn't have the kids for the holiday, spent her July Fourth parental alienating Jon, and organizing her desk. (Last year, Kate accused Jon of not taking the kids to church even though she asked him to, while in the same breath admitting she slept in that Sunday, and also retweeted a fan's tweet that "Jon ruined that family but she healed it," and thanked her.) One of her most disturbing and alienating tweets, tweeted on July 4 in the evening (in response to someone remarking how she was happy the kids were with Jon), is this one:
"me too. The fact that he asked, always is worth my loneliness.I'm happy for them even if it's somehow hard for both me&kids"
Perhaps Kate's behavior, and the behavior of other parents like her who hate their ex's more than they love their children, will soon be recognized for what it is, a mental health problem.
Thanks to Kate's own Reading Eagle for keeping this important topic in the news.

They are indeed made the same way, using a highly chemical process with genetically modified enzymes. They are also using caustic acids, clarifiers, filtration chemicals and so forth in the conversion of agave starches into highly refined fructose inulin that is even higher in fructose content than high fructose corn syrup.
______________________________________________
Agave “nectar” is not made from the sap of the yucca or agave plant but from the starch of the giant pineapple-like, root bulb. The principal constituent of the agave root is starch, similar to the starch in corn or rice, and a complex carbohydrate called inulin, which is made up of chains of fructose molecules.Technically a highly indigestible fiber, inulin, which does not taste sweet, comprises about half of the carbohydrate content of agave.
The process by which agave glucose and inulin are converted into “nectar” is similar to the process by which corn starch is converted into HFCS. The agave starch is subject to an enzymatic and chemical process that converts the starch into a fructose-rich syrup—anywhere from 70 percent fructose and higher according to the agave nectar chemical profiles posted on agave nectar websites.
Compare that to the typical fructose content of high fructose corn syrup (55%)!

Interesting information on that website.
I doubt Kate did any homework, but then her fans don't care if it's healthy, organic, dietetic, blah, blah, blah. If Kate recommends it it's got to be "AMAZING" AND "AWESOME."
Some face cream she was calling botox in a jar or something

Oh, geez, Dwindle, it was Ole Henriksen Ultimate Lift Eye Gel, $80 on Amazon. She said she buys it in bulk. What was really funny was that Deanna went on Kate's blog and gave tips about skin care and not spending big bucks...
"You can put tons of expensive creams and lotions on your skin, but the more Omega 3 fatty acids you put into your body, the healthier your skin will look."
TLC is coming out in August with another "family show" called "The United Bates of America." The Bates family are friends of the Duggars and have a similar lifestyle. They've been on a few Duggar shows. The Bates have 19 children and live in Tennessee.
You know, I be in the minority with my next opinion, but that's okay; it's still just my opinion.
Kate says she cries when she watches the old episodes, and I just don't believe it. Yes, I'm sure she is upset that it all ended, but I don't believe she actually cries. That would require having feelings, I just don't see her as having that.
We have all watched her fake tears and dabbing her dry eyes on national television when she was complaining about something, mostly Jon. I just do not see her as someone who breaks down and cries at sad movies, episodes of her shows, etc.
Maybe I'm being too hard on her, and if so, I'm sorry. In my defense, though, I just never saw her show any real emotion; just fake stuff if she was trying to prove a point and get sympathy.
Do I believe that she is upset about how the tables have turned? Of course I do. Do I believe she shares loving moments with her kids watching reruns of show and cries? No, I just can't believe she does. I think it's just her way of trying to get sympathy. After all, you can see headlines on google that say Kate Gosselin cries while watching old episodes of her show. She got back in the news and that's all she lives for.
Once again, I don't mean to be hard hearted, but this is my opinion where Kate is concerned.
So, Katie Irene is selling candy. I noticed the bit about the 17 grams of sugar, 11 grams of fat and the 200 calories. If I was out burning calories doing something I might pick one up at the convenience store but I certainly wouldn't stock up for daily consumption.
Not too long ago, I had children the same ages as Katie's. They were involved in activities - mostly sports but for discussion sake it doesn't really matter. I bought plenty of candy, cookies, sub sandwiches (from the girls down the street in the band) and lots and lots of Joe Corbi Pizza.
That's the difference. When we did the candy thing, it was for fundraising stuff for our kids - and the kids of friends - in similar situations. Katie Irene is selling the candy for the benefit of Katie Irene. I think I'll pass.

So Steve isn't William Holden in this Sunset Blvd movie. Steve is her first husband/butler. The guy who will never let her know that she doesn't have a big picture coming up and isn't a star anymore.
--------
Yep---Max is her enabler-in-chief. but, you can tell by Cecil D DeMille's reaction to her was because he admired her work--and she was clearly delusional. So, Kate does have that part in common with Norma--of course, I mean the delusional part.I tthink that many people saw Kate as delusional--even early on and maybe that's why people were non-confrontive with her. We certainly saw that with DWTS' s in the higher than deserved scores, and even on Ellen when she made her remark about speaking in code. Her diva behavior and her bodyguard and childish demands had to have given a lot of people heartburn and some big laughs at her expense.

I must have missed that one so I googled this stuff and (teehee) get this...on their website they have the People cover with Kate in her bikini and it says:
No implants or augmentation and as for her bright-eyed look, she credits an over-the-counter eye serum - Ole Henriksen Ultimate Lift Eye Gel - that led to whispers of botox. "Yep, that stuff is my botox in a jar. I started using it and two weeks later the rumors started," she says. "Isn't that a shame
No no, it was a sham. Kate and her falsie advertising. Yep, tacky pun intended.
If she's been eating one Bella Bar a day for 4+ months, why has she never mentioned them before today? You can fool some of the people some of the time and you can fool all of the sheeple all of the time but you can't fool us. Bella Bars? Never gonna try them now.

Ditto that!
Kate tweeted "Sorry I've been MIA... I've been distracted by life..I stop in, read and comment occasionally. Best I can do right now!Thx 4 understanding!"
Milo is going to be awake all night, tossing and turning, wondering what's wrong. She'll pester the living daylights out of Kate!

Remember the scary photo of Kate looking like Mr. Spock? If that's what their eye gel does, I'm steering clear of it! A doctor commented that it was a case of a bad botox job.
Dwindle, thanks. We are having a great time. I am the oldest of seven kids. (Good ole' Catholic family.) My youngest brother is 20 years behind me. The girls are his and are really nieces. But, I can see why you guessed the GREAT part. I put the most recent photo taken with all of us together for my profile. Brother and I are on the left hand side. The man in the center is unrelated, but he did give us the dollar bills.
Today we had contests with small cash prizes. Tomorrow I am taking all 3 girls to Deals (Everything cost $1.00.) and they can fill their shopping baskets.
I thought Khate admitted to giving herself the botox injections that resulted in the Spock look? I don't think it was any $80 topical cream!
Dmasy, it's so nice to hear about the wonderful time you are having with your nieces. I know you'll continue to enjoy each other for the rest of your time together. Have fun!!!!
LoveMyGrandsons, thank you. I hope we have a much fun as you did with your little guys. They live about 4 hours away from me so I don't see them frequently.
Have your little guys recovered from the virus they caught? I can't remember the real name. All I can think of is Hoof and Mouth disease and I know that ISN"T right!
Fidosmommy--
A Ponzi scheme is different than a pyramid scheme. In a Ponzi scheme, money is taken from Customer A as an investment in, for example, a share of stock. The stock is never actually purchased--it is pocketed by the broker. The broker sends out statements that are pure myth. As long as no one is in the stock, no one knows the difference. But, if Customer A wants to cash out his investment, he will be paid off by Customer B. All along, money is siphoned off, so the money there is never enough to pay off the investors if they all want to liquidate. That's why investors that left the Madoff fund early got out with their original investments plus the mythical annual returns and the later investors were screwed. Those investors were sued by the appointed trustee of the SEC to recoup from early investors and redistribute to those were destroyed by Madoff.
A pyramid scheme is when early participants build a team of people under them to sell a product. Many legitimate companies use this structure--such as Mary Kay, Amway etc. There isn't anything wrong with it, but the early ones in have the most potential to profit, because they will forever get a percentage of those under them, for infinite levels.
I have always thought that Kate was probably set for life, but this does look pretty bad. What kind of wardrobe is she buying for this new "gig"?

How about Bitchy Spice?
Trampy Spice
Booby Spice
Lazy Spice (her costume could be a white plastic chair glued to her butt; "Kate, have a chair." "No Thanks, I bring my own right here on my ass...")
Hand Flap Spice
Screeching Spice
Red Spoon Spice
and now... Pyramid Spice!
_______
Can't forget lair spice.
Maybe Kate and endorse fake nails and fake hair and tanning beds.
Only the Athena Greek Yogurt Blueberry bars have yogurt. You should see the list of ingredients. One of the top ingredient listed is palm kernel oil, which is decidedly not healthy. It has spinach, broccoli sprouts,
all kinds of fruit parts, etc. in it. Sounds like a winner to me. Maybe not.
The chocolate and the cinnamon ones are vegan.
Ha, Dwindle! Booby Spice is my favorite.
I think Superficial Spice also fits very well.
I don't know why they call those vegan bars, the ones I saw were fruit and nut and yogurt. I didn't see any vegetables. Maybe they put purple carrots in them like V8 Fusion that I got for my son for a while. But his nutritionist said do not ever, under any circumstances drink your calories (if you are trying to lose or maintain weight). Only skim milk and that is one serving a day. She says save all calorie intake for food and learn to love water with a little lemon or mint.
____
Absolutely, and don't drink a glass of orange juice, EAT an orange instead. You get the fiber, which then fills you up and helps your bodily functions. it is MUCH better for your body. We give my son as much fruit as he wants, except at dinner-- he has to eat his dinner to get the fruit, or else he would eat just fruit for dinner.

OK, COMPLETELY off topic:
My DirecTV just lost another bunch of channels. In looking into the other options, I think we are going to switch to a Roku unit that allows access to NetFlix, Hulu, Amazon, NHL, etc.
Has anyone used this? Or can offer any advice in making this switch??
Any/all comments welcomed!!

Admin. - Just looked again at the pictures you posted. She appears in public looking like this and yet makes the boys change because their outfits don't "match". Unbelievable!
