I'm not saying things aren't said in anger on occasional stress related situations but when it becomes your mantra that, "stress just got the best of everyone," it also in a way becomes your excuse instead of being an adult and being able to fess up to the fact you lost your temper because you weren't childishly getting what you wanted.
Repeatedly you have said that the only people that matter to you are your kids or the only people that how you model yourself to is your kids. Well, I got some news for you Kate. How you model yourself, you attitude in any given situations affects more people generally than just your kids. It affects the people around you, friends, other family members and yourself.
With the modeling I've seen her do on how to behave your kids see and hear more than what you think they do no matter the age. And I can almost guarantee you Kate that sooner or later your kids might begin to model your down right rude, condescending in general way of life.
Sure you can hide and be all sweet with your Twitter buddies but general views of public glimpses seem to be far different and you can't always expect people to believe something just because you say it isn't true about you because if it wasn't we would see more of you in a happier or at least far decent mood.
But you seem to have gotten everything you deserve out of how to come across to people. That in itself is the first thing people look at. Whether this be a job interview, a social setting. How you treat, respond or speak to people even if it's just your one bad day people are going to get the sense that you behave that way all the time because you modeled it instead of being a grown up and putting your anger aside and being polite, cheerful and other things.
If you're going to go through life blaming every bad moment that has ever been captured in your life as stress you seriously need to take a step back and reevaluate some things:
1. Is the behavior I display seen more often than just on occasion?
2. Can or am I willing to change what it is people find offensive or ill about my behavior?
3. Is this behavior that I want my children to learn to model?
I personally have had a couple days over my life but it's not any reason to take it out on someone else I just met or even people I know well for that matter. Camera or no camera YOU yourself are responsible for your own behavior and attitude in life nobody else no matter how stressful the situation YOU are the one responsible for how YOU handle your anger, disagreements and blow ups. Not the camera crew, not your friends, your bodyguard, your babysitter or your kids. YOU.
You are a 37 year old woman who clearly should know better and how to model yourself to more people than just your kids because...hey, wake up Kate! There are more people in this world that can get you places than just your kids! You might want to think about stepping outside of your precious little "organic bubble" of former reality television life and get a few things:
1. A fresh breath
2. A calming hobby (plant some lavender)
3. GET SOME HELP!

Re: the video of the runway model who falls down twice. The walk they have to do is quite specific, with one foot going directly in front of the back foot as they walk. Try it, it's not easy. Now picture Kate doing it. If your shoes don't fit perfectly, it seems it would be a catastrophe. I really think that is what happened to that unfortunate model. It looked to me like her shoes were too big.
I must say, Kate looks especially lovely in that bottom black and white photo!
On another topic, I am trying glycine instead of ambien for sleep issues. I've been using the 3g sticks, but wised up and bought a 1 lb. bottle. How many grams do you guys take for sleeping? I did check with my doc and he OK'd it, but we didn't discuss how much. I've taken up to 3 of the 3g sticks, but I'm wondering if I could use more?
P.S. I'm not relying on you guys for medical advice! Just to hear your experiences. I get the idea that there is a wide range of dosages that might be effective.

I don't think Kate looks the least bit happy in that picture. She looks miffed to me. The smile is not in her eyes, her face is not at all relaxed into a smile - it's the "just smile, damn it" smile all the way. Maybe it wasn't the fancy venue she expected in NYC. Maybe she hates her hair. Maybe she thinks the dress does not highlight her best assets even if it is by a famous designer (?). Who knows? All I know is that she does not look happy even one little bit in that picture.

Yes someone was right. Deanna the makeup artist on Kate's web site is one of the members or volunteers of this Bottomless Closet. When they do modeling, ventures to raise money, she helps and she suggested, ratherly strongly that Kate Gosselin would be willing to Walk the Runway. Most all of the people walking are volunteers of this organization and give clothing, time to the org. Tonight Deanna was not assigned to Kate and Kate was upset, visably upset as Kate's skin is very bad and Deanna has the stuff to cover Kate's skin with. This should hit the news tomorrow if not tonight.Everyone who Walked was asked to give $100 the VIP cost of a tkt and the right to Mingle. If Kate does not Mingle, it is because she paid the $50 or the $40 in advance. Back stage photos of Kate showed many shades of blonde and white in her stringy hair and massive bumps on her face and neck.

Actually I think a makeshift runway DID NOT make her happy. I bet a whole dollar that she ended up

Who said there isn't any karma. This is where she is a year later. As hard and as much as she's tried no one is buying her schlock anymore. Her kids have lost all their value in the world of reality tv and they were the only thing she had left to sell because she sure can't sell herself.
Even if she tries to act all humble and makes apologies for her hideous behavior of the last five years, no one will believe her now because she's proven too many times how disingenuous she really is.

That's just a simple way to invalidate Ashley's feelings. Ashley's concerns were not real and valid, she was just being dramatic. Simple way to get rid of that problem and never have to actually address what Ashley was trying to say.

Yes, I agree with you that it isn't newsworthy as in some huffington post blog or ROL or something. The way I tood anonymous' post was that 'more would be coming out later about how badly kart acted when she didn't get her way'.... I figure she couldn't get everyone there to sign CAs.
If anon's info is correct (and I guess I have no reason to disbelieve her) it just makes me chuckle because I figure whoever assigned Deanna to another person probably had no idea about the wrath of kart.

For the poster who asked why Deanna wouldn't get to do kart's makeup, my experience with events like these is there is someone in charge and things are expected to go EXACTLY according to plan. It's a tight schedule with many participants. There is no room for tantrums and changing plans just to accommodate egos.
Of course, we *really* don't know what happened. All speculation as I wasn't there and am just basing my posts on what I read above...

They are taken to a neutral runway to practice in their outfits and shoes. It's just a small, humble runway, but this is just for practice purposes, right? She is taken to "hair and makeup", but sadly gets (Michelle) instead of Deanna. That's a crimp in the line, but OK, (Michelle) knows a thing or two about make up. The hair? Well, it's not Ted Gibson, but he's not here. (George) does OK, at least he tells her she looks fabulous.
It's time, and Milo is tweeting away frantically that it's time! So, the models are led to the door, it opens, and Kate is faced with..... oh my. I thought that was just
practice runway. Oh my. Are they serious?

The nice thing about the video of the RV trip
was seeing Ashley again. Although she was very upset in those moments, I still think she is a bright spot in the life of those children. I continue to wish her well.
Kate's not in the photo someone posted of some of the celebs drinking so I have no idea if she drank too, but I don't know, I find it kind of disrespectful to be getting sloshed, or taking photos pretending to be getting sloshed, at a charity event. I mean have a little class, and respect for the charity.

If you want to see images of Kate from last nights show just go to Getty Images and type in Kate's name and you will see her walk down the runway. I have to say the gown they had her walk in was actually very pretty. Her skin color just looked a little odd, but other than that she did look pretty good. And believe me i am no Kate fan, but when she looks good I'll give her due credit for it.

Just talked to my rich brother who is involved in a ton of charity causes. He said the etiquette is if your hotel and your food is donated (or comped), you make a donation for the cost of the ticket and you add at least 1 zero to that, and usually 2 zeroes.
There is also the expectation, besides your generous donation of CASH, that your friends and family will make generous donations also.
Kate had a great opportunity to ask her tweeties to donate to this apparently worthy cause, and to be able to actually bring in dollars that the charity would not have otherwise received.
Nope, she didn't even mention that they should donate, and here's the web form to do that.
What do you supose the chances are that she brought friends and relatives along who paid for their VIP tickets? Ah, probably not.
That's a lot of money for Officer Jim to donate, in addition to the time off from his mediocre job to drive her there and back.

I just looked at Getty too...Kate looked ok, certainly not a model, but she looked like she was trying. I thought the dress did make one breast kind of 'ooze'' out the top- I don't care for that look on anyone! Again not medical advice, but I wouldn't use more than one Glycine stick per night. See how much powder you need from your lb bottle to equal 3 g (3000 mg). Should be a chart included or call the co. I don't think taking more than 3 g will help; glycine is used for other purposes and you don't want to get side effects from too much.
Wow, I took a look at the pics, and that venue is really sad! Thankfully, it was for a good cause, but I'm betting Kate was furious! I couldn't help but notice how all the attendees were dressed. Well, ladies, Kate's second year of unemployment/minimal employment has begun, and it is not looking too good so far. Last year at this time she had just been to NYC for a huge media blitz, and this year it was that sad little fashion show. A sign of things to come? Somehow, I think that Karma is doing its work, slowly and painfully. She was so contemptuous of the normal, mediocre masses, and now she is sinking far below what could be considered mediocre. I think she will eventually hit rock bottom, but it will take a very long time for that to happen. And she will suffer greatly along the way. So, for anyone who thinks Karma hasn't bitten her in the a** yet, don't worry. Karma has a lot of tormenting left to do, but it will get there eventually. Let's just enjoy the ride!

I so agree and would like to add that both charities and celebs USE each other. Celebs get freebies (an event, a catwalk, swag maybe, media attention) AND and charity gets media attention and perhaps donations that come along with increases awareness because said celeb gets the story out there.
I don't expect celebs to take on every cause that they choose to help, but most celebs do have a primary cause that they give to and give to on an ongoing basis.
Kate probably won't ever do this, what with 8 kids and all.
I do see a great deal of hypocrisy on Kate's part, and certainly a high degree of naivite on this charity's part for choosing a woman who is known to take her clothes (free or paid for) and consign them, NOT give them away.

I looked at the ROL pics- Kate didn't look as good on these. Her head is so big ( literally!). Her face looks odd, and her limbs don't 'match' her withered frame. I honestly think she looked better before finding the 'good bra' She is way out of proportion.
Well, I am without a car due to my being side-swept a couple of days ago.. Had to cancel many things ( DH has his car at work) and appts. Why wasn't I smart enough to have an extra car on hand like J Kate suggests to save money?? Can't get a loaner yet as we have a 2-car driveway- illegal to park on out street. Why didn't she spend the night in NYC instead of doing that dangerous drive in the middle of the night? And it's very dangerous to be driving eight kids to the bus stop on 1.5 hours of sleep. They say even worse than drunk driving. She couldn't have the nanny or Jon do it? And where's the gratitude to whoever was with the kids so she could frolic in NYC? Probably Jon so she'll never give him credit.

I don't think this is mentioned enough but good point and this is a big reason I would never want Kate's life.
I like knowing that my friends and family want to be around me for me. Not for money or fame or what trips I can take them on. If I were a celeb I would constantly wonder what people's motives are. In particular I would really question a gal like Deanna based on her web site alone. I think I would just hate that feeling day after day that you're not really sure what's real and what's fake. Prince Harry and William have talked about that, about it being hard not only to trust people but to find people who are genuine and honest and not just kissing their butts.

Sounds like Jon's tactic, for the most part. The last couple months prior to him shutting down his Twitter seemed to show a regression but since the Star "I can't pay child support and my rent" interview the only thing I've seen him do was the "Tanked" episode on Discovery.
Admin - Do you know when Jon gave that Star interview, btw? I'm just curious. Could he have given the interview in April when he was having child support issues and Star/Radar held onto it until August? So that was the amazing, gown Kate was wearing? What was so great about it? It looks like any other gown that has been out in the stores. And her hair, looks like it does when she puts a curly iron to it. What amazing hair style? I love the white dress. It's beautiful and she looks very nice in it. Not what "real women" wear, but she does look attractive. What's holding up the left side of the dress? The implant is so obvious -- it's screaming for attention. The makeshift runway, though, is an embarrassment. I can't believe that they couldn't find something better than that.

1) I think the black dress is hers. I seem to remember it and also she's got the bondage shoes paired with it and I know those are hers.

I think the white dress was a great choice for a no-waisted person. The silver embellishments on the side narrowed her waist. One of the articles had the name of the designer, but I can't remember who it was. I thought she looked nice in it. In the US Weekly photo, you can really see the outline of the implant, especially at the side.

fwiw, I think Kate had a car take her to and from nyc and she was able to get up with the kids for the morning routine, but the nanny took them to the bus stop.

Whatever Kate's out of pocket expenses were I'm sure it was spent to put herself out there again, get more images splashed online and maybe in a mag or two, network etc, etc.

I agree about veneers- her voice is now different, 'thicker' like she ha too much in her mouth lol. Her teeth were fine IMO, just a little off center as she apparently had to have her braces from Jon's associate removed due to her pregnancy? The whitening she and Jon had on 'their' day I guess wasn't enough. Her smile is very fake in more ways than one.
Re: boobs/good bra. It is silly to deny it. It's not a crime.(unless you drain your kids' bank accts to pay- let's assume she used her own $) Personally I saw nothing wrong with her old ones. So Kate most likely knew ahead of time that Deanna was not going to be doing her makeup. Someone posted last night that Kate was really miffed and upset when she got there and found out that Deanna wasn't assigned to her and that it was going to make the news last night or today.
AGT final performances were last night, so if Deanna was there, then it was no surprise to Kate that she wouldn't be there to do her makeup.

I know this is totally off-topic, but...if Kate had half a brain, she'd move Jon back into the apartment over the garage. Otherwise it's just sitting empty, and who is that helping? He wouldn't have to pay rent/utilities, so he could contribute that money for the kids. Kate could get rid of her nanny, and Jon could come over to the house and help get the kids ready for school in the mornings, plus help with their homework at night. And when she's away, he'd be right there for them. She's save lots of money on "help". Heck, he could even help out with lawn care, which would save her even more money. They both claim that they're getting along better, so maybe it could work. But then.. she is awfully selfish. I don't know if she could find it in her heart to share with him like that, no matter how much it would benefit her (and the kids), too.

It is unflattering, I have to say. I am trying to not be nit-picky, I truly am. But one has to wonder if she grifted those veneers and has a contract that says she must display every single one of them at all times, even the molars. That MUST SHOW THE TEETH smile is odd.
Here's the thing when you look at that pic, and I have only clicked on 2 of them:
She looks like a 50 year old prostitute. Everything, the hair, the orange, the teeth, the makeup, the eyelashes, the stance, the smile, the too-long nails, everything just screams 'trying way too hard'. She is like a 14 year old who thinks green stripes in her hair, a nose ring, and a tatoo of a stuffed animal (oops) make her a sex goddess and she will be sure to get the attention of the hot-to-trot boys with their dads' cool cars.
If someone had posted these pics and said this was one of the women who was a recovering woman getting back into real work, a beneficiary of the charity, I would say "Well, she needs more work, but great for her that she is ready to give it a good try!" I would also assume that in her previous life she had been a call girl and was now aging out of the profession and looking for something else.
The body and wave in her hair style does look much better than the flat greasy straw look. Now just take 6 inches off it and get rid of the neon white color and she would be so much better.
