It's not hard at all if Jon picks them up from the bus stop and drops them of at the bus stop. Lots of parents switch during the week. Wednesday is a common day. In any case it is what they have done before--Jon once tweeted in fact on a Wednesday he had the boys.
Why would you tell a sleepwalking child to go back to bed? Kate's room is downstairs, the kids are upstairs. If my 8-year-old was sleepwalking I think I'd at least walk her back to bed and make sure she got there okay. Then, again, I would keep typing on twitter while my child obviously needed my attention. Bitch face. Sorry ... she pisses me off.
Let's hope she was exaggerating about sleep walking. Real sleepwalking can be very dangerous and certainly is no time to announce on twitter the issue.
Regarding the sleepwalking child...
Mine went through that when she was about six years old. I would never, in a million years, tell her to go back to bed. I went with her, made sure she was safely tucked into her own bed and asleep. I wouldn't be able to sleep if I thought for one minute she was wandering around the house. I had to make sure that she was where she was supposed to be!
Apparently Kate just told her to go back to bed.
Blue, also, Jon has the right of first refusal so if he exercises that when Kate was gone he could have exercised his right to have the kids, assuming it wasn't his time already.

Not blue, because of confidentiality etc there's just so much I can't and won't talk about. To me it's just not appropriate. I can offer insight for what it's worth on custody etc but can't really draw on work to back it up. Are there many times when I think, wow I had a case that was just like this situation?! Sure. But I can't and won't say anything. Email me if you have more questions about why it's not appropriate, or there's lots of resources online that can explain it. Family law, especially, is very delicate because it so often involves kids.

S. who I fostered this summer was adopted by a lovely retired/disabled up north and is having SO much fun with her she actually writes "diaries" from the dog's perspective and emails them around LOL. She is a writer so they are really funny. And I thought I was a dog lover.

Kate does look beautiful in the picture of her at the Today Show last year. (See Sheeple, I will give her credit where credit is due). Her hair looks really nice layered with the side-swept bangs. It also looked much healthier. The color of her hair is softer as well. Her make-up was pretty and not over the top. She has false eye lashes on but they don't look like daddy long legged spiders. Her look now is just like an OC Housewife and who the hell wants to look like that. (However, I still think her blemished skin and part of her hair problem, along with the overprocessing, is that fact that here diet is lacking in enough nutrients).
Who is she trying to kid? She got enough sleep today. She said in katecode this morning that she was going back to bed after she dropped the kids off at the bus. She just didn't want to be around the kids tonight, she had some important twittering to get to.

When my son was the tups age, we had many bedtime rituals. We had a window of time with leeway. We talked while he got ready for bed and while he brushed his teeth. If he wasn't really tired, he was allowed to read after being tucked in. Most nights I read to him.
Even with that relaxed approach, on occasion he tended to "pop" back up after I thought he was down for the entire night. Sometimes the re-appearance had a legitimate reason and sometimes it was nothing more than an effort to prolong his day.
She must have put the fear of God into those kids to send them off to bed so early and not expect one of the 8 to find a reason to stumble back into the living area. (Well, except for sleepwalking Hannah.)
There was so little time between their dinner and their bedtime that she must be ordering them around with military precision. I can hear her huffing and puffing about how tired SHE is...clap, clap...hustle.
If Jon's home is more relaxed, this must be crazy-making for their little minds.
It will be too late when she realizes that she has missed the best moments and the warmest memories by being so selfish and distant.

As a child I was plagued by nightmares. I would wake up, lie in bed for as long as I could stand it, and then would plod down the hall to my parents' room. Mom would walk me back down the hall, tuck me in, sit on the bed with me until I was safely asleep.
It would have never occurred to her to just tell me to find my way back to my bed.
I think Kate was using the "sleepwalking" just to mean Hannah came downstairs into her room after she was suppose to sleep. If Hannah was a true sleepwalker we would have heard about it before now. I think Hannah was awake and walking sleepy eyed but awake.
Admin...totally agree with your take on the forced, super early bedtime for the G8 tonight. Not fair. Those poor kids shouldn't have to 'pay' for their gestational carrier's NYC-look-at-mee-I'm-a-superstah night on the town.
I'm sure I'm not alone that there have been PLENTY of days-after-big-party nights or couldn't sleep last night if my life depended on it days when the day seems never ending and all you want to do is crash....but....I wouldn't even dream of forcing my kids to bed at such a ridiculously early hour just to get them out of my hair so I can take care of me!

On another topic: Proof! I want to see proof that she doesn't have extensions......there is NO way that her hair is as long as she claims it to be in such a short period of time. Don't know why this claim of hers pisses me off so much but it bugs me even more than the 'good bra' story. I personally could care less who does or doesn't have extensions, implants, veneers, whatever BUT I despise the type of chick who try to pull off all this 'beauty' as natural, all real, etc.
Pretty much every female celebrity uses extensions in some form, especially for events. They have the $ to afford the very best and they look fabulous most of the time. KG has very good extensions ( her 'hair' looks like over processed crap as a whole but her extensions are the best money can buy ) but quit with the BS that your freaking hair grew 15x faster than average and has gone from a buzz cut in back to long, flowing hair half way down your back!!!

Kate looks orange like the Real Housewives of New Jersey. They must have put some extensions with a little color, because her hair doesn't look quite as bleachy as usual. She has such a hard face--I really can't find anything attractive about it. She looks sorta used up.

I really enjoy MasterChef. They're looking for home cooks for Season 4 already. I can't imagine standing in long lines with a tupperware bowl full of my food waiting to be tasted by those three judges. Joe is so intimidating. And Gordon's palate is so discriminating. Maybe set a little egg timer for 30 minutes and they can maybe read, watch a little t.v., play a quiet game and then it's to bed. I bet they would comply.
I know some believe Kate has what it takes to overcome her negative image (which is reality and not an image at all) andbe successful in the public eye (talk show host, spokesperson for a brand or organization, etc). Rest assured ~she is physically incapable of doing so.

I am going to cut back to the 3 grams again. It wasn't working great for me so I thought more would = better, but I don't want to chance any untoward effects. My doc said to try melatonin if this doesn't work, and I don't think there is any reason I can't do both. In reading up on the glycine, one source said that it doesn't have interaction with other sleep aids, so you can take it along with whatever else you are taking. I have been taking Ambien for a couple of years, with decreasing effectiveness, so I decided to stop taking it daily, and save it for when I really HAVE to sleep, hoping that it will be more effective taken only occasionally. Ahhhhhhh, to sleep!
I actually sleep quite well from 4 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. It's trying to move that to a more "normal" schedule that is a problem for me.

through her skull, I will be pleased.
I would like her to be so secure in herself that she no longer needs to invent, circumvent or evade the truth. The truth itself would be plenty good enough. Also a great child lesson.

Yes, we are all discussing the same things we did last year. The remarkable thing though, is that the pro Kate sites are doing the same thing...still talking about how wonderful, sweet, and beautiful their Kate is, and Kate herself talks about the same things she did a year ago also..shows that might be coming in the near future, trips that are on her bucket list darling things her kids are saying, and how exhausted she is.

She believes her very presence is all anyone needs. One need only touch the hem of her dress to be healed.
In reality, she continually proves that she is completely clueless or at least in denial about what others think of her. She did look pretty in some of those pictures (she needs to dump her current makeup artist/best friend), but only with two inches of makeup caked on the once lovely skin, and even that couldn't cover up the bright orange color. She once again revealed how obvious it is that she had implants. No natural boob does that with the rolls on the side!
I have spent a lot of time this summer helping a friend whose husband is leaving her. He is a complete narcissist, and it has been very enlightening to observe that he is utterly incapable of having any kind of positive relationship with ANYONE beyond a surface level. He has no relationship with his children and blames his wife for that. She has been left all these years to take care of everything because he is incapable of it. When he would get of hand emotionally, the only thing that placated him was to assure him that he was good looking! So strange (and he's really not)....
Anyway, it made me realize how many things are so much more important. Many of you have found good friends here, which I think is very cool.
The kids will always be the victims. I feel so sorry for them. I think Jon is nice, and hopefully being more assertive, and Robert Hoffman,who was going to reveal all about Kate to the world, is the lowest of them all. Shame on him. One thing we've learned from that mess, though, is that we really don't need a tell-all on Kate. We know plenty, and anyway, her ride is over.

I thought this charity was about empowering regular working women who have had a hard time of it. I had the cutest pair of sandals last summer. They made me look taller and they went perfectly with many of my go-to-town outfits.
But, every time I wore the strappy little shoes the pinky toe on my right foot would escape and poke out. After one long day of that particular kind of painful torture, I gave the sandals to a teen girl friend.
Gotta' admire Kate for keeping a big smile on her face while her little toe was being strangled.

Some critics say for her to get off twitter and spend time with her kids...what for? If she's on twitter, she isn't yelling at or masterminding the kids, so ie, the kids are happier and less stressed. Kate isn't going to change her parenting abilities. Donating clothes would be expected since it is a charity, but it sure would be interesting to know if she really did donate clothes or was this another Twitter lie. Does she have a stake in these charities or is it just for publicity? I vote for publicity. And her appearances will dry up because the word will get out that she doesn't invest in these causes.

So I just remembered she did tweet that she was going through her closet to donate, but you see, I don't believe her for one minute. This tweet is from a woman who consigns clothes to make a buck. Donating clothes would be expected since it is a charity, but it sure would be interesting to know if she really did donate clothes or was this another Twitter lie. Does she have a stake in these charities or is it just for publicity? I vote for publicity. And her appearances will dry up because the word will get out that she doesn't invest in these causes.

A couple of mentions in "legit" entertainment sites and a one-sentence photo cap on an actual news site. That's it, unless I'm missing something. You have to go looking for the info to find it.

Finally saw the closeup pics of Kate in the white dress; wow, that left boobage image is scary sad. If not for that, the dress was actually quite flattering on her. Hello! Clap! Clap! I'm baaaack! Sorry Admin and all, I missed the trip and the partay...my Superior Court duties took precedence.
Lots and lots of paperwork. Really. DD bought DH a spot (ride? flight?) on a B-17. An old one. A real one. As in not a piece of furniture one. I felt compelled to go over every frikkin' word in his life insurance policy. I wanted to BE SURE that a B-17 crash was covered and not considered suicide, particularly since the name of the company who owns the plane is called "Experimental Aircraft". Seriously.
On the Up side, DD and GS flew in (commercial airline, just in case you're wondering, which I'm sure nobody is) so they could come with us to Cincinnati for his flight. DH was sooo excited for that flight. I've never seen him smile so much (well, I have, but that's PRIVATE). He claims happenstance that he was first in his group to board (I think all those 90 year old veterans he elbowed, pushed and kicked their walkers out of the way had SOMETHING to do with it, the whippersnapper...). On board, apparently, he was directed to to first seat but HE thought they said front and up he went straight to the cockpit. As DH related it:
Pilot: "What are you doing up HERE?"
DH: (thoroughly embarrassed) "Oh, sh*t, sorry
Pilot: "It's OK - hey sit there" (pointing behind the co-pilot seat to the empty navigator (radarman?)seat.
DH: (drooling and very aware of the daggers being sent his way by the others) "Really?? Oh how COOL!"
I guess when just taking off, circling the airfield in a 20 minute flight and landing right back where it started doesn't require a navigator. Hence the empty seat. But anyway, there he was right in front with face plastered to the window giving us the thumbs up sign. To be fair, DH did move back to let others up to the front (his face was plastered to another window further back when they taxied back). The whole thing was awesome for him AND "I" got to hang with GS (the 3 year old) and DD. Makin' the memories people.
BTW - BTW, the B-17 was HUGE! Especially in comparison to the 1980's era heirloom faux ultra suede brown Lazy-Boy recliner.

Apparently, Kate is allowing H (a child) into the inner sanctum of the master bedroom. That certainly is a change from when they toured the new mini-mansion and the kids were threatened with punishment if they entered that space. Remember Kate's warning of severe Punishment or something to that effect? It was really odd sounding for a mother of 8 kids who sleep on the 2nd floor while parents on main level. Strange and sad I thought at the time. Opinion hasn't changed. I suppose their punishment now is to be "tweeted" about by their mother. Sickening, really. Sleep walking could be quite dangerous and why wouldn't any mother escort the little child back to bed and make sure they were tucked in? Why do I ask? We all know the answer on this one.

I think the "they reached out to Kate" came about via her NYC makeup friend, Deana, who does work for this group. With the likes of Ajay Rochester and Aviva Drescher, it wasn't exactly A (orC) list to begin with. Doubt Kate's "people" are getting phone calls, e-mails or twitters begging for her time after this minor gig anyway. If she were not such a narcissist, and actually got involved in any community projects, she might find people would actually want to talk to her. But she's too atupid and self-involved to get that.

Sorry you missed the road trip. Your heirloom faux ultra suede La-Z-Boy recliner did get borrowed a few times for posters from of the row to catch up with us! I told everyone you and the hubster wouldn't mind! He would have enjoyed the trip , we did have a couple of Black hawk helicopters that picked up folks in Canada and elsewhere off the route.
The entire trip is documented in admins prior post about the Special Olympics run.
I am so happy for your hubster!! Sounds like a wonderful ride! Hope he didn't cause any hip fractures shoving those other folks our the way!

It's amazing to see what the love of money can do to a person. And we all watched it on teevee.

There is nothing to be jealous of.
Some critics say for her to get off twitter and spend time with her kids...what for? If she's on twitter, she isn't yelling at or masterminding the kids, so ie, the kids are happier and less stressed. Kate isn't going to change her parenting abilities. You know, you're right. No snark! I never thought of it that way. Now that they have 1/2 time with Jon they ARE getting nurturing.
The past several weeks have proven to me that Kate is afraid of her children. That is why she twitters so much when they are with her. Plus she is so lonely she has no one to share her fears of parenting with, so she shares with strangers in 140 characters or less. That is why she had to twitter during Parent Night at the twins new school, she was afraid and uneasy in this parenting role, and afraid around the other parents.
When Kate is not facing any kind of parenting matters, she is on twitter silence because she doesnt need the barrier to shield her, nor does she need the praise and adoration.
So if Kate self-soothes with twitter in order to BLOCK her children, maybe it's ok. Maybe they will grow up with a healthy understanding that their mother just had missing emotional wires and she did the best she could. No, it isnt the love and nurturing they need, that other kids get from mommies, not what the kids will always see on TV, but maybe this is the best she can do. At least hiding on twitter while in their plain sight, REDUCES the verbal, mental and physical abuse they would be dealing with otherwise.
I think some of the kids will destroy themselves trying to get their mother's approval and attention and unconditional love, some will live lives of despondency and very low self esteem, and some will do a great deal of internal work and come to terms with their mother's mental illness and realize it was never their fault.
Goes to show that negative publicity works. I doubt Bottomless Closet would have gotten the publicity it did if not for Kate. At least she has that going for her. Sad that she's ok with the that. Speaks to her nacissism. I wouldn't be interested in her at this point except I just desparately want her to get caught in her tangle of deceit.

She didn't go to Parents' Night for 6 of her kids? I would have gone no matter how tired I was! I think it's important for information, seeing the teachers and hearing about the curriculum and just making your presence and interest known. Also the ids would want her to see their classrooms- usually there is special artwork or notes for parents in many schools.I hope Jon at least did go.

About the sleepwalking child: My daughter #2 not only sleepwalked (is that a word?) but also had night terrors, from about 5-12. Curiously, this is also the child that had migrains starting at about the same age. Hmmmm...
Anyway, I FAITHFULLY REQUIERED that I hold her, cuddle her a minute, walk her back to bed and sit on the edge of her bed till she fell asleep. Sometimes I would doze off sitting there, but that is what you do. I cant imagine verbally sending a half out of it child out of my presence.
Boys who sleepwalk are way more entertaining! The often pick very odd places, like their toy boxes or the bedroom closet, to PEE! God help the 3 young G-boys if they sleepwalk, they will have to deal with the Penalty of Severness re something they have no control over. (Hopefully they wont pick mommy's shoe closet...)

Kate really screwed up when she succeeded in her quest to get HOM's. She's like the old woman in the shoe...had so many kids, she didn't know what to do. That's Kate.

Thanks to the person who posted a link to realitytea.com, with a whole variety of celeb photos. Unrelated -- but the photo of Sarah Jessica Parker made me cringe - she does not look healthy to me!
The photo of Kate made me laugh. Yes, I grant that she is plenty skinny. But look at all those freckles and signs of skin damage on her chest. From the orange skin tone, to the high forehead, to the comically rounded eyebrows, to the obviously bleached blond hair - she looks so unreal. Even Holly Madison had the wisdom to either listen to her stylist or realize on her own, that her bleached blond hair might have been what aging Hugh Hefner wanted, but it aged her. Scroll 4 pictures up from Kate's photo to see how Holly has toned down the bleach and softened her entire look. She also seems to take great care with her skin. I think she and Kate might be only a few years apart in age, but she looks fresh as a daisy while Kate looks like a skinny oompa loompa with glow in the dark teeth.
AuntieAnn-Kate was the first celebrity who was announced. They did say that there were going to be a total of 5 celebrities walking. I guess those would be Aviva Drescher, Ajay Rochester, Jaslene Gonzalez, Shontelle and Kate. Ramona Singer was also there, but I don't think she walked the runway.
I think she went home late that night for one simple reason:
They didn't comp her hotel room, she couldn't get someone to grift it, and she's too cheap to pay for it herself.

According to her, there was dinner conversation last night, and one of the girls was sleepwalking, so she didn't have the kids.
I am still awe-struck. How ms. single super mom didn't go to parents night is beyond my comprehension. When kids are young, parents night is exciting for them....showing their parents their new classrooms, letting their parents meet their teachers, letting the kids show mom and dad their new lockers. And it doesn't matter if the oldest siblings had the same teachers.

Fact. Lower School Parents Night was last night at 6:30.
I don't think we're supposed to discuss if parents attended, where the kids were, school schedules, etc., but parents night was last night. Kate tweeted dinner conversation at 6 p.m., and according to her, the kids were in bed (and so was she) at 8:30 - 9 p.m.
Awwww...it truly breaks my heart to think of the 6 little ones at school today...looking at all the stuff they probably had prepared to excitedly show Mommy. Like someone up thread said already: just like Halloween. But as long as KG gets what she wants, right?

"Afraid" may be a bit strong. Apprehensive, maybe; nonchalant, perhaps; unwilling to engagement in conversation, absolutely. I'm not sure that she's afraid, but she is uncomfortable and insecure. Remember, she doesn't notice other people.

I don't usually like playing devils advocate because I don't find it all that productive, however we do know she went to the twins parents night. This is the picture I'm referring to. In it, she looks to have deeply drawn lawns under both eyes. Her legs are almost painfully thin and she is knock-kneed; plus it hurts me to look at her feet! This is not a criticism of JSP per se -- more so the societal norm that demands women be emaciated to be considered beautiful. I enjoyed her very much in Sex and the City, and I have never heard anything negative about her as a person. However, I don't think she looks healthy in this photo.

Parents Night is for parents, when they sit in classes and go through a very shortened kids' schedule. Students don't attend. This is why Kate was tweeting that she was in public speaking, going to Spanish, etc., during MS Parents Night.
I also agree that the kids have more than one parent who could have gone.

Kate tweeted how she made so many new "friends" at this fashion show-i.e. derek, matt, ajay, etc. Yet she hasn't followed one of them on twitter. If they were your "friends", wouldn't you follow them?

I love Matt Paxton who is on Hoarders (the far superior show on A&E produced by Screaming Flea Productions; and not the vastly inferior show on TLC Hoarding Buried Alive which is produced by Discovery Productions and just had the hantavirus disaster).
Matt does a podcast 5 Decisions Away that is very entertaining and informative! And he addresses the topics of making a difference, success, helping change peoples lives, and also hantavirus in his latest podcast.
I strongly recommend this to everyone. Go to www.5decisionsaway.com and go to podcast #46 - No Sweat (9/14/12). I like the.entire podcast, but the important parts are at minute 50, where he talks in detail about the family they helped.
At the 57 minute mark he talks about safety, hantavirus, and testing rats for bubonic plague!
About the one hour mark he talks about making a difference.

I don't think that Kate 'remaking' herself with her hater comments will work or get her back on TV. She can try any and everything to remake her image, but the real Kate can not change her internal self and it will all come roaring back in a short period of time. Besides, she has no skills or personality for TV and she may hang on for a while around the periphery, but she is definitely done.

Joy mentioned the Paxton pod cast several weeks go. I listened and he is now in my favorites. Easy to work around the house while they talk. He is down to earth, funny and "salty".

I think that's an interesting point actually. "she doesn't notice other people." I would definitely agree with this statement. She had no embarrassment about yelling at Jon in Toys R Us. It seems to me that for Kate, the outside world is mostly an unwanted distraction. She could not comprehend why she should be embarrassed to yell like a fishwife in the middle of a store full of people. What people? All Kate was concerned with were the cameras, focused on her.
I think it makes Kate physically uncomfortable to have to interact with other people. Time and again, her extremely limited social skills have been caught on camera. I wouldn't characterize Kate as feeling afraid of others. I think she just feels its a waste of her time to "make nice" when she would rather be twittering about herself to adoring fans.

This is the picture I'm referring to. In it, she looks to have deeply drawn lawns under both eyes. Her legs are almost painfully thin and she is knock-kneed; plus it hurts me to look at her feet! This is not a criticism of JSP per se -- more so the societal norm that demands women be emaciated to be considered beautiful. I enjoyed her very much in Sex and the City, and I have never heard anything negative about her as a person. However, I don't think she looks healthy in this photo.

Yes, they do that, I forgot! Folders sometimes of their best work left on the desk or table, and in 2nd grade there would be pictures or work up on the walls... So sad when they got in today and felt like their best work was just so much trash. Oh how sad.
Let's hope daddy or a grandparent or someone went. One year the 2 grandmas went for me as I had just given birth! (and their dad worked 2nd shift.) I cannot describe the JOY for my kids of having BOTH grandmas there, joined at the hip and enjoying each other AND later just loving on those kids about the wonderful things that were seen!

She is nearing 50, and perhaps should cut her hair, but I commend those who do not opt for cosmetic youth enhancers although if one does, good luck- they often backfire. As I said, she has always been thin- great when young, gaunt when older. :(

I still remember how important it was to my son that I help out in his classroom once a week, and attend back to school nights. And I did so! I was happy to do it and I wanted the opportunity to meet with his teachers, see the work he had done in class, and volunteer in the classroom. That was how I also met some of the other parents and his fellow classmates. I still occasionally run into a young teen who says "hello Mrs. _______. I remember you from kindergarten class!"
These little efforts on our parts do matter to children. Why have children at all if you don't want to be actively involved in their young lives?
(I also remember Kate throwing away the artwork made by her children at Sunday school and could hardly believe my eyes. I have framed various pieces of art made by my son, and have two large drawers filled with carefully saved art work, school work, photographs, Valentine's cards, etc. It's all precious to me.
Wouldn't she have had all day to rest up for Parent's Night?
I forgot to add, she would have a driver, as always, so she could have dozed the whole way home from NYC. Such a liar.

We saw this at the Statue of Liberty gift shop. The people crowding in on them almost sent her over the edge. I thought she was going to stroke out right on the spot.
She was on the verge of a panic attack that time. She was ready to jump right out of her skin.
She was like that at Yellowstone, too. As people started noticing the camera crew and thus started gathering around,Kate started freaking. Far beyond what might be a normal reaction.
It wasn't just her being uppity, although that's a factor, too. She *does* think she's too good for other people, but there's more to it than that, IMO. She was truly freaked.
Or possibly Agoraphobia-Fear of being in crowded, public places.
Which would explain why she prefers staying inside the mansion. She can control her environment there.
In some ways, I'm surprised that she isn't home-bound.
There's something wrong there. Whatever it is, she so far has been unable to overcome it. And until she does, she will be held back because of it.
At my school district it's called ". Back to School" which takes place in Sept. and it's a time to speak to parents about the curriculum and other school activities. It's also a time for questions/ answers that parents might have and also a great time to built a good relationship with the parents! It' s a parents night but some students would also attend! The time when both parents and students are encouraged to attend is "Open House" and that's when the students work is displayed in the classroom!
I used to love those nights but the only problem was my kids attended the same school I taught at, so my hubby use to go to their classes.
If Kate did attend she spent all her time thinking is everybody staring at ME, I'm a star and a model! I'm LOL as I'm writing this! Poor teachers!!

I think you are correct. There is alot about her presentation that is a couple of seasons outdated. Those white acrylics, especially the huge ones she wears on her thumbs, are out of style, as is the intense color on her toes. She is starting to push 40 and looks every minute of it and all these outdate styles for 20 somethings just look foolish on her now. I am surprised her personal make up artist (#snark) hasnt counseled her that given her aging skin and hairline, a more natural color palette would suit her better. (From hair down to toes and everthing inbetween.) But what do I know? I am no expert I just know she looks comical now.

Well, I'm turning 51 this year and the extra padding I carry around seems to help keep my face filled out a bit more than perhaps it might be. LOL. I used to worry about being a size 7 or 9 in my younger days, but am so glad that I opted out of that rat race as I got older.

I don't think Kate is afraid of people. I think she *might* feel inferior to others (hey, that mom is a teacher/dr/atty/shop owner, that dad is a ....) and Kate is a NOTHING.

We all know she only agreed to the fashion show so that she would get publicity. She must have known that parents' night would present a conflict with this appearance. The fact that she chose publicity over such an important event for parents AND CHILDREN speaks volumes.
I can hardly believe that a nurse would send a child who had been sleepwalking back to bed without comforting her and staying with her until she went SAFELY back to sleep but, according to her own words, that appears to be what she did.
I hope Jon is carefully monitoring her neglect of his children.

I need seasoning ideas for a roast. it is just a chuck roast and I want it as firm as I can get it for slicing tomorrow.
Here is what I did so far:
Sauteed crushed garlic in canola oil (I am not using expensive olive oil on a roast) then browned the roast on both flat sides in that. Slowly added 2 cups of Cabernet Sauv, and diced onions on top of meat with sea salt and cracked peppercorns. I plan to use Gravy Master drops to season the gravy.
Any other ideas for seasoning now while I can still sneak some in there? It is covered in the oven, I will uncover the pot later.
Dwindle, I can't think of a way to improve on that recipe. I can almost smell the aroma in your kitchen ...

I'm sorry but as a mom of three girls, I want more for them and I want them to want more for themselves. Sex is only one part of who we are.
