All rise. Court is now in session.

One year ago today, the series finale of Kate Plus 8 aired ....

One year ago today, Kate insulted America when she was just trying to insult Jon ....

And one year ago today, Kate opened her web site for business (and it's still "coming soon") ....

Happy Anniversary Kate. Do enjoy your day in NYC, a d-lister at a minor runway event, a very apropos way to observe the passage of time. A whole year later, and your media career is where? Hollywood does not have you on speed-dial.

Thanks Admin, another great post.

Regarding the infamous "mediocre" clip it's amazing how hearing it again can bring to light things you never caught before. How about her dig that Jon may be content working a regular job but I want the best for my kids. And that a good parent works as hard as they can and provides their children the best.

So, bitch, people who work "regular" jobs are not providing the BEST for their kids? People who work regular jobs don't work hard to provide their kids the best? Wow.

A year later and Kate is doing what? Begging for free stuff from anyone who'll listen.Still bitching about being a single mom who's busting her ass for her 8.......count them,8 kids. While the father is a deadbeat doing nothing. She is still trying to sell the kids to the highest bidder, begging Disney to take 1 or 2 or how many they would like.
Kate could never get a real job because all the kids are in school and gone from the house over almost 9 hours a day.How could she do anything but sleep, tweet, and complain while the kids are gone? This is what she does while they are at home.A year later Kate.I think my record is skipping.

silimom said... 4

Kate who?

I'm watching Julia Child's "The French Chef" on my Apple TV and learning how to make food for a cocktail party. Now that was a woman who had poise, class and was probably the "realest woman on "reality" tv back in her day.

fidosmommy said... 5

It may be time to crank up my soundtrack of Kate's favorite movie.

"So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, goodbye"

Time to go. A year is too long to expect any more curtain calls.

silimom said... 6

Admin - I can't tell on my iPhone but did you superimpose Kate's face on the Norma Desmond still?

Hmm. No book announcement on Gosselinbook.com. Gee, that's a shock. Of course, the day is still young.

Good night all. Here's to another year of no kids on tv and Kate grifting her way through life.

Anonymous said... 7

It just burns my ass to hear this crap from Kate.Anyone who works a Normal job, doesn't want the best for their kids. Would that be a teacher? A security guard? A walmart greeter? A NURSE? A construction worker? ECT ECT.
Sorry you went against doctor's advice. You got the multiples you tried so hard for.Harder than anything you ever tried for in life. You got a reality show you took for granted along with your husband, friends and your church. Here you sit grifting for anything you can get.Begging for a chance to get back on tv. Cause you know, its the only REAL job out there if you love your kids.
Kate you are so done. You are now a hasbeen.A reality JOKE.I sure hope you can live with yourself.........cause you are the only who can.I still have hope for the kids.I have hope they can get past everything YOU put them through, and go on to find the love and happiness they can never get from you,but which they so much deserve.

Could someone enlighten me as to why Australia hates Ajay so much? Other than the fact that she was a complete bitch as a host on The Biggest Loser, that is. I read she trashed Canberra but that was pretty recent. I would have thought hosting a bigt show like The Biggest Loser would have catapulted her into the fast track of fame. What did she do??

Stewmama said... 9

What has Kate done to better the lives of her children since the ending of Kate plus 8? .......thinking.......still thinking.........

Let us not forget Kate's twitter statement re her mediocre comment:

"2clarify re 'mediocre' — I meant this job is not a career acc 2 jon but tv is 4 me &is hard but will prov best opps 4 my kids vs nursing!"

TV is for her? Well, I guess TV has decided that they don't want her and she is just as mediocre as anyone else.

FYI said... 11

And another back tracking statement-when she was asked on twitter about the mediocre statement:

“So, because my husband and I aren’t on tv constantly like @Kateplusmy8 , we’re only providing a “mediocre” life for our daughter?”

A Twitter follower tweeted at Kate, who replied with, “That’s not wut I said @all. Was responding 2jons comment only re ME getting a ‘normal’ job–which would not work$ bc I hav 8!”

Localyocul said... 12

So grifting for freebies is less mediocre than getting a job? She's an internet panhandler no differeent from someone standing on the corner asking for handouts. At least some of them wash your windshield in return. And why does $$everything equal doing the best for your kids? My daughter goes to school with some very rich kids who are entitled lazy and downright mean. It's like she thinks good parenting means lacishing with material things and cokking. From scratch with expensive equipment of course.

Yes, today is the anniversary of the launch of her website. This is the first post she made on that website:

Welcome to our NEW website!!!

For the past few years, I’ve wanted to start a website… Not only to share cute kid stuff, but also to answer the many questions I receive from viewers and fans on topics such as kids, cooking and recipes, schedule organization, diet and exercise, fashion and makeup tips, balancing it all as a mom and a woman – to name just a few…

I am thrilled to announce that you will now be able to check in and learn what is happening with our family…

Upon learning that our show, Kate Plus 8 was ending, I knew that there would be a void left in the hearts of many who have virtually supported and gotten to “know” our family for many years. I felt your pain and sought to do something to ease it…

One fan wrote, “it’s as if you are our close neighbors that are moving far away.” This statement resonated with me and seemed to represent the voices of many. So… I fast tracked this website to get it up and running so that fans and viewers will have a place to go to express their thoughts and feelings once our final episode has aired.

I can’t wait to provide you with exciting information, recipes, blogs about life, encouragement, and what the kids are doing… But, I’m also hoping that you will contribute too by emailing (Yes! I’ll now have “fan mail” !!!) your questions, tips and suggestions! I’ll post fan mail topics too!

I’m hoping we can all learn from each other and support each other here AND on Twitter!

Won’t this be fun?

I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed making it come to life!

So, now I present the official Kate + My 8 website to all of you!

xoxo-K8

PS: Please check back daily as new pages are added — you can watch as our site is completed!
****************

One year ago, she was so excited about her new website. Now it seems, she can't even be bothered with it. Most of her posts are links to her CC blog.

Why didn't she post her statement re Real Fashion Real Women(that is on their FB page) on her website? Self-serving as it was, she could have used her website to promote it.

Her website is/was just another way for her to try to stay relevant, but even now it seems like she can't be bothered to maintain it. Just another "Kate" project that is biting the dust.

Ajay plead guilty to 23 counts for receiving single parent payments from Centrelink (Australian Govt.) for 5 years. She knew that she was not eligible for this money. She paid back the $14,000 before legal proceedings began.

There is no conviction on her record past and present for doing this. You can google Ajay Rochester welfare fraud and read about it.

http://findingmymojo.com/

This is her resume.

http://www.realitystaff.com/pages/view/View-Resume/component/ViewResume/id/79586

She is very talented but not liked at all in Australia. And she talked to a producer on DWTS and asked to be on it. The producer said he would think about it. She has authored 3 or 4 successful books. One is a kid's book. And she would love her own talk show. Gee, she and Kate have some of the same interests (lol).

that is being unfair to people who legitimately
suffer from dyslexia, she's JUST ignorant with a healthy dose of stupid thrown in.

Thanks admin! I looked at the first video clip, which to me shows the production team were done with her. The confessional from ”Steve, Head of Security”, what a laugh! Ms Kreider, the production team was TRYING to give you advice using Ashleys and Jamies voices. You can't treat people the way you did and expect them to continue to put up with it.
I never watched any of the shows, I did and still think it is boring to watch even cute kids for more than a couple minutes. I raised my own children, thank you, and I an interested in cute antics of children I an related to. Not strangers.

Amazing road trip. Glad to finally be here. Do we get to meet Administrator?

Kate has wasted a whole year of her family's life. (Not withstanding all the memories they have made.)

If she has any critical thinking skills -- ANY -- she has to realize that next year will hold less opportunity for her to revive her "career".

A meat slicer is not a measurement of success.

Dmasy said... 21

Yesterday, I purchased one of the deli cooked broaster chickens that are available in so many grocery stores. $4.95. Natural ingredients. I don't think I could roast one at home for less money.

I sliced (and hacked) away at the whole chicken while preparing our dinner. I thought of an industrial meat slicer. How? How could you efficiently slice the meat off those bones? She mentioned cooking her own chicken and saving money. All she's going to get is a mess and considerable waste unless she still uses some hand cutting techniques.

I just don't see her working that hard for so little result.

Anonymous said... 22

Dmsay, don't you just love those rotisserie chickens from the grocery store?? The meat pretty much falls off the bones.

And I loved your statement: "A meat slicer is not a measurement of success."

Back to my mediocre life...washing sheets, putting together a baked ziti for dinner.

At the $5 price point, I usually can't pass up a roasted chicken! I love Costco's and that's where I usually wind up coming home with a piping hot, amazing smelling, juicy chicken.
Sometimes I just use that at make some quick sides. Other things I like to do is make soup, including tortilla soup. Of course chicken salad too. Last, but not least, my dogs get any and all scraps picked off the bones.
It is a great bargain.
I don't think Kate roasts whole chickens, rather I think she cooks chicken breasts and slices them. At least that's what I thought she was implying.
I hope she uses the guard on the slicer!

Dmasy said... 24

Tucker's Mom, ah, that makes more sense -- chicken breasts. I guess one of those turkey breast roasts would work, too.

We had our chicken with fresh green beans and the cauliflower fake "mashed potatoes" last night. We really like those pretend potatoes. Try them if you never have...it is a surprise.

I watched the Dance Moms finale and the Teen Mom part 2 wrap up. Hubby went to bed early, so TV choices were all mine!

Dmasy, we LOVE cauliflour "mash" or puree. It's actually really elegant too. I'd say we opt for the cauliflower vs. potatoes about half the time now.
Every little bit helps!
Favorite dinner that DH loves now-- turkey picatta over cauliflower puree and a side of broccoli rabe.
Turkey breasts are one of the best dollar and nutritional values out there. Turkey cutlets can be $$, but you can buy the whole deboned breast and slice yourself.

I love the reality competition shows: Big Brother, Survivor, project Runway, Top Chef, shows like that. Most recent obsession that is showing new episodes now is Face Off on SciFy.channel, where makeup artists create amazing characters. I like to see people make things, what do they start with and where do they end up. I like the creativity displayed, and there are some amazing talented people out there.
The housewife franchise, teens with kids, young people behaving badly, arguing mothers, bossy coaches - none of that interests me. People with lots of kids, I raised my own, I don't need to see anyone else raise theirs.
I remember when TLC had Trading Spaces and Clean Sweep, I LOVED those shows.

"2clarify re 'mediocre' — I meant this job is not a career acc 2 jon but tv is 4 me &is hard but will prov best opps 4 my kids vs nursing!"

&&&

How does that clarify anything? She wasn't talking about whether or not her job was a "career" and whether it can provide more than nursing, she was slamming someone who has a normal job and saying it's not good enough. It's two separate issues, TOOL.

Oh and by the way my aunt is a nurse and has provided a very nice life for her family so suck it.

NJGal51 said... 37

I thought of Kate this morning on my way to work as the Silhouettes came on the radio singing "Get a job Sha na na na, sha na na na na". And with apologies to Burt Bacharach, how's that wishing and hoping and thinking and praying, planning and dreaming each night about a TV job working out for you Kate? Well maybe not the planning part since your plan seems to be that if you wish for it, it will happen.

The following article (Darian Peters) What Makes A D-List Celebrity sums it up quite nicely.

The D-list includes: the wannabes (often from reality TV shows); the 'never-was'es, who've never quite hit the real heights at any point in their career; and also the fallen stars, who are trying every desperate attention-seeking trick in the book to get themselves back into the limelight that they believe is rightfully theirs.

They are mostly the girls who wear the skimpiest clothes and the guys who shove the biggest sock down the front of their pants. They are the middle-aged women attempting to act like 20-year-olds, and the middle-aged men who turn up at premieres with a 20-year-old woman on their arm.

D-list celebrities have what they believe is the attitude of an A-list celebrity, believing themselves to be entitled to all of the trappings of A-list fame. They attempt to live the lifestyle of the A-list, even though they lack the necessary money, connections and enduring talent, and throw monumental strops if anything is denied to them.

I was touched by all the 9/11 stories yesterday. It's amazing how we can return to that moment with great detail and emotion. I lost a dear friend that day and it's still hard to feel it all over again.

I awoke this morning to discover that we did not make it through another 9/11 without tragedy. I am so saddened by the death of our Libyan Ambassador. I won't get into politics but I do hope his death will bring changes in the way we deal with a group of religious zealots.

And kudos to you Admin for steering this blog with a deft hand that has allowed us to form a fun community with very little drama.
Kate's blog is sputtering along in bad need of life support. I'm skeptical that it gets many hits really, mainly because she updates content too infrequently.
In order to drive up hits, you must post often and consistently. Half of her headers are still empty and if you're going to have Menu Mondays, freaking post a recipe every Monday!

Mel said... 47

I happened to have Little People on last night while I was sewing. It was the Australia trip.

Wow! What a difference between that and Kate's RV trip or Australia trip. The whole episode the kids AND the parents were talking about how it didn't matter what they were seeing, what was important was that they were doing/seeing it together.
The mom and the older children mentioned many times how much they were enjoying just being able to spend time with each other.

There was no screaming, yelling, sniping, dragging of vacuum cleaners disrespectfully along the rocks. No lame clues for the kids to "guess" where they might be going.
There was no Mr. Kiwi House Man, or Mr. Skyjump Man.

One of the twins mentioned how they had researched the animals and places that they would be seeing, *before* they went there. Imagine that!

They all just seemed in awe of what they were seeing. Kept talking about how this was a once in a lifetime experience and how lucky they were to do it, and do it together. They just seemed so appreciative of the their opportunity to take the trip, and their opportunity to spend time with each other. They kept talking about the family time over and over.

After that 19 Kids was on. The mom was saying something about the mother-in-law living with them, and she's so nice and they respect her so much, that they take any opportunity they have to do something nice for her and show her respect.

So, Kate? THIS is why you no longer have a show.

KAT said... 48

Whats funny about this is that Kate doesn't EVEN HAVE a mediocre job....she better get off that high horse of hers....can't wait for reality to smack her right up side the head...

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said... 49

Mel I noticed what a lovely and calm trip the little people had to Australia. They were all grateful that given the kids' ages and how busy they are the family was able to find one week where they could all get together.

Zack's girlfriend is a sweetheart and so grateful that she was invited along, and Amy appreciated how grateful she was and what an easy and agreeable traveler she was. Eventually he needs to put a ring on that one.

I mentioned this before but after that long flight in COACH, instead of whining and complaining about it, Matt said "well, that wasn't so bad!"

Isn't that the way to live life on the positive side? It's not so bad?

Dmasy said... 50

Mel, 47 -- thank you. I don't watch either one of those shows. I appreciate the report/insight.

I had almost forgotten how horrible Kate was on the RV trip. The promo at the top of this page is a stark reminder of how childish/ungrateful/entitled/and nasty-ass she was or is.

The scene of her stomping across the landscape rocks while carelessly dragging a vacuum and grousing about her responsibilities stuck in my mind. It highlighted the Kate we have come to know too well.

I think Kate's chances of getting a good gig on TV (which is for her? really?) will continue to diminish as time goes on. I do get concerned about how long Kate can sustain her lifestyle and the kids' school at this rate.
I think Kate did way too many appearances post divorce and with all her crying and bad mouthing Jon, people just got sick of her.
I think at the time Kate was on DWTS, people loved to hate her. Now, they just hate her. Any article about her is met with invective. To wit-- 10K or so vastly negative responses to Quilted Northern when Kate grifted free TP.
That really is astounding. When this millionaire grifts things that the rest of us have to pay for, and that she certainly can pay for but gets it for free, it strikes a really raw nerve.
I don't know that Kate gets that grifting so publicly via Twitter makes mediocre people detest her for getting everything for free, from TP to a beach front rental house.
Truly oblivious Marie Antionette.

I don't sit down and watch this show, but my kids love it (I hear it while it's on while in another room, hear the kids chatting about it, etc, so I know sort of what the show is about). I watched it last night just because it was a 'finale' (finales usually have all sorts of drama, lol).

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THOSE WOMEN? omg.

I also thought it interesting that one of the girls is now trying to be a singer..gee, everyone on tv wants a brand! Everywhere you go, this person has cookware, this one has a book, another has food, another has perfume, it just goes on and on and on.
I couldn't care less what a personality endorses, I won't purchase something just because it has some schmo's name on it. But, I won't buy an item if it has a personality on it I don't like (ex, Paula Deen. ewww).

And yet, Kate works NO job. None. Not even a mediocre one. The only thing she is interested in is promoting herself, every single thing else is beneath her.

It's hard for me to get my brain around the fact that she thinks her mere presence is worth that golden platter income she feels so entitled to.

Just stand there and run your incredibly dumb mouth and folks PAY you for that. She still doesnt get, or care, that she is a joke.

As far as this fashion show goes, does she think she will trotting down a runway with Victoria Beckham or such? I guarandamntee you she will look EXACTLY like Norma Desmond as she clomps down that little runway with her legs spread apart. It is going to be a giggle, at least for me.

My eldest daughter is 37 years old and I JUST broke it to her that favorite dish from her beloved gramma, gramma's "summer spaghetti' was that squash. My mother in law would prepare the squash exactly as you describe.

Thanks for posting this. It makes me realize that Kate has been trying to promote herself not on as described above, but also as an excellent candidate for a trophy wife. She is way too old, way too used up looking, way too pushy and bitchy. Men looking for trophy wives dont want a mouthy miserable demanding monster pushing 40, they are looking for sweet young thing that is submissive and giggly.

She served it cold during the hot summer days, with store bought crunchy breadsticks. The kids loved it. She used a combo of roma tomatoes plus other varieties. By letting it stand, it got 'soupy' but the cheese helped hold it together. And the herbs blended too.

There was a time when I was in college full time plus working full time. My mother in law took my 4 little kids three days a week in the summers for swimming lessons and for the whole day and I would pick them up at night. She was quite the home gardener in those days and was proud to feed that produce to the kids. They are all grown now, but these are some of their happiest memories.

Oh and by the way, I was divorced from my kids father by then so this was my EX mother in law. She is frail now in her 80s but I live nearby and still help her where I can, since her only granddaughters all live out of state.

I couldn't care less what a personality endorses, I won't purchase something just because it has some schmo's name on it. But, I won't buy an item if it has a personality on it I don't like (ex, Paula Deen. ewww).

*************************

I am exactly the same way. I will avoid products because of a name, but I dont think I am INTERESTED in any product because of a name. That is why I stopped going to Kmart years and years ago; I couldnt even buy a lousy bag of potting soil without that miserable Martha Stewart's name on it. Her name was on everything and I just stopped going to Kmart because of it.

Jeesh, I am hogging the blog, I see.

I love Dancin with Them There Stars. a real life friend who is a former fan told me her father voted for Ms Kreider on DWTS because he felt sorry for her that she had so many children. That show was a huge opportunity for Ms Kreider to present a positive, can-do, plucky image. Instead we saw an uncooperative, whiny student who refused to respect her teacher and clearly did not put in the practice time to improve her lack of dancing skills. The majority of long term DWTS fans were starting a Free Tony movement, and Vote for the Worst admins thought she was too boring to champion. VFTW supported cloris Leachman her season because she was entertaining as a not very skilled dancer. Dave of VFTW considered supporting Ms Kreider only because it would have annoyed so many people, but she wasn't even that interesting.
The Photoshop is fabulous, and I am enjoying myself by the inbound heated pool, thanks admin! I am just gonna hang out here until DWTS premieres, so I can see St Tony live! And the Face Off finale should be soon after that, it will be live this year, you don't mind having z house guests for another month or so admin, I an sure! Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!

I am so used to posting a lot, can't stop! One more comment, the interview from Today reminded me, the Today show has made a lot of people angry by not showing the observation of a moment of silence at the time the first plane hit the tower on 9/11. Instead at that time they were interviewing Mama Kardashian about her breast implants. The local New York TV station cut away, and they edited the West coast feed, but still... There was a very defensive statement from some spokeswoman, they did a9/11 story earlier, but still.... Very unfortunate timing, and once again what were they thinking?

small closets

one dishwasher (how bout a avocado green kenmore?)

one 4 burner stove (with one of the larger burners not working please)

one used frig
no pool
no gated entrance
no roof jewelry
leaky roof

I am sure I missed a few..
oh, it CANNOT be in Texas. We already have her biggest fan.

As predicted, Kate is a tweeting fool over her appearance at the fashion show today. She can SMELL her chance at getting back into the celebrity pages again, complete with pictures, maybe even a TV interview! What I smell is desperation. Today should provide a real measure of her importance to the celebrity world, not that she will recognize it of course. But, she will milk this event for all it's worth, push and shove until someone recognizes what they've been missing over this past year!

"I have 8 kids and the gift of gab, you remember me don't you?" Sadly, people do remember her, but not for the any of the above, but for being a shallow, fame-seeking, mean-spirited grifter who shows up at events strictly for self-promotion, and nothing else.

For those who like the rotisserie chicken for convenience of having it ready at dinner time, try it in the crockpot. The meat literally falls off the bones. That's how I make my turkey breasts!

Call Me Crazy said... 103

I buy store-cooked roaster chickens occasionally because they are inexpensive, perfect for a quick meal, and taste great. But whenever I buy one, it reminds me of when my DH and I went to a friend's house for dinner. This friend (I'll call her Mildred) is an amazing cook. The appetizers and entrees she conjures up seemingly effortlessly are works of art in taste and presentation.

So imagine my surprise when I walked into her kitchen and saw Mildred slicing up a store-bought roaster chicken. I was very pleased, thinking that this master cook also recognized the value in using these chickens for a meal. Well, imagine my further surprise when Mildred walked across the kitchen, grabbed her dogs' food bowls, and filled them with the chicken!

We all still laugh thinking about how a typical, normal type meal for my DH and me was nothing more than dog food for Mildred.

All in service to convincing the world that she's worth a damn (and not Hoover, either). Some of her usees have caught on and dumped her behind. Article in the Huff Post about Kate and Real Women Real Fashion:

"On Wednesday night, Kate Gosselin will be taking to the runway during New York Fashion Week for a good cause, the "Real Fashion, Real Women" show. Despite her controversial past, show insiders say the new Kate has been nothing but a delight.

"We reached out to Kate's people, and they came back right away and said yes. She loved it," the show's host and organizer, Derek Warburton, tells me. "Kate is so nice, sweet and accommodating and cool. She started writing us directly."

However, not everything has gone so smoothly. Once word got out that the one-time reality TV mom would be walking in the show, the backlash was immediate, especially on Twitter.

"We have all been in Twitter wars about Kate," says Warburton. "They were attacking us for having her in the show. I responded saying, 'Listen, we are not paying her. She is doing this out of the goodness of her heart.' What's remarkable is every time we get a nasty tweet about Kate, she writes and apologizes. She doesn't care about the haters, but she cares about us, the charity. She must have apologized to me five times for what people say about her."

Warburton promises that Gosselin will be wearing an amazing gown and have great hair.

The "Real Fashion, Real Women" show benefits Bottomless Closet, an organization that helps disadvantaged women become self-sufficient. It will feature 21 "real women" and five celebrity models, as well as professional models. One of the celebs, "Real Housewives of New York City" cast member Aviva Drescher, says she can’t wait to meet Gosselin.

Well, that Huff Post article was all sunshine and rainbows, except...the part about the twitter backlash. Anyone reading it will be reminded how universally despised she is. Someone wrote above that at one time, people loved to hate her. Now they just hate her. You are so right! That article just reinforces that fact.
I watched the clip of her Today Show appearance...that huge Cheshire Cat smile at the beginning is hideous. She is SO excited and happy at the chance to throw Jon under the bus on national TV. Too bad she did herself far more damage with that speech than she could ever do to him. IF anyone was even remotely thinking about giving her a talk show, that one word--"mediocre"--put the idea to rest. Her mouth is her worst enemy. And all the talk about how sweet she is lately--if she were still on TV, she would still be walking all over everyone. She's only nice because she has to be, if she ever hopes to get back in the media. She's hoping that someone will think she's changed, or maybe that she was misjudged (editing!) all along and will want to work with her, talentless loser that she is.

After their grifted trip to the beach, Kate tweeted back to Deanna, about something, that Kate said, oh please see if we/I can do it. So that is probably Deanna, letting Kate know about this fashion show(Deanna twitter is a locked acct).

Of course Kate is farting rainbows for them because she's hoping that this is going to be the beginning of her big comeback but a leopard can't change its spots. Were she to be with them more than 1 day the true Kate would come out. I doubt that she's even got that much contact with anyone as she'll be in practice, hair and make-up and then the show. The guy really can't say that she's a raving bitch to work with, he's trying to promote his show and his charity. Talk to the real behind the scenes people and see if they're singing the same tune.

Thanks for the HuffPost article. A few thoughts from the article: "the new Kate has been nothing but a delight." WTF! Who the hell is the new Kate. I didn't know Kate had changed. Unless they mean the new Kate is the Kate that is no longer on TV and grifts for freebies on twitter. Another thought: Aviva Drescher (RHNY) can't wait to meet Kate. Well I can believe that. As a viewer of RHNY, Aviva is exactly like Kate. It's all about ME! ME! and ME! some more. The last two episodes of RHNY showed Aviva's true colors. What a fu!king egotistical, spoiled rotten, selfish bitch she is. If it's not about her, she doesn't want to hear it. She is already getting slammed on the Bravo blogs and this is her first season on the show. Aviva and Kate are two peas in a pod. They are cut from the same cloth. I find it funny that the only "celebrities" that are walking in this show are from reality TV although it sounds like a wonderful cause. There is a fashion show every year in Boston to benefit Rosie's Place, a homeless shelter for women. They have local TV personalities and the wives/girlfriends of local pro athletes to walk in it.

Auntie Ann, just home on my split shift (heading back shortly) and noticed how happy you were about your apple jelly. I just cored and sliced 10 pounds of apples. was thinking apple butter, but a few years ago I made a delicious herbed apple jelly. I'm thinking I might have to do it again.
I am almost done canning, unless I am gifted with more produce or purchase more.

Call me crazy that's too funny.

I also love the roaster/rotisserie chickens. My guilty pleasure, and I know I shouldn't, is eating the crisp skin when I first get home with it. I live alone and can easily get 3 meals from 1 chicken. I add it to a salad, make a sandwich or cook up some veggies, rice and chicken.

Dwindle, will you sue me if I use your MIL's recipe, it sounds delicious. I promise I will not tell anyone where I got it, except maybe my DD.
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

LOL! No I wont mind a bit! While MIL used to stand there and grate cheese, most stores carry a nice 4,5,or 6 cheese blend now, already grated for us to use. I bet that would work nicely!

I am also recalling her setting the kids outside at the picnic table with appropriate knives to help dice the tomatos, sometimes. And yes, she ate it after her grandchildren had actually touched the food!

For those who like the rotisserie chicken for convenience of having it ready at dinner time, try it in the crockpot. The meat literally falls off the bones.

Of course, Kate is going to be on her best behavior. She has to be to convince people that she is not as toxic as she appears to be ;o)

Anyway, big deal. She does not even have top billing at this event, so who cares.

As far as I'm concerned, the charity that this fashion show will benefit are the true stars.

In the end, Kate really has nothing to offer.
She lacks the skills that will help her to get ahead in the entertainment business. So, big whoop.

I just posted this on Radar Online:

NBC really has its priorities straight, doesn't it...instead of taking a moment of silence to recognize 911 and its victims, the Today Show pre-empts with the plastic-faced PIMP aka Kris Jenner, who, by the way, is 61--NOT 56, and who has now decided to take her young teen-aged daughters out of school for them to pursue modeling careers.

I DETEST THIS PATHETIC, LYING EXCUSE FOR A MOTHER AND A HUMAN BEING. I've supported the Today Show, as a very long-time viewer, through all of its changes, including ditching Ann Curry for Savannah Guthrie. Now, they've gone TOO FAR...Kris Jenner isn't worth the time of day, yet, because of NBC's ties to Ryan Seacrest, it's letting money be its conscience. They did the same thing with the useless nobody wannabe Kate Gosselin because of their ties to TLC, until she was fired from the TLC network.

This is IT. I am officially through with NBC and switching to ABC. SHAMEFUL, SHAMEFUL, SHAMEFUL!

Re: Abby and Brittany

I just watched last night's show (trip to London) The girls mentioned each has broken her foot 2 or 3 times- that must have been very difficult, if crutches were needed. Brittany also said the rumors of her being engaged were fabricated and she has no boyfriend. They got a lot more stares in London, and they tended to leave crowded places where they became what people were photographing rather than the tourist attraction. Now Kate made a big stink when she claimed that happened to her and the kids. These girls just took it in stride and tried other new things.

Image being conjoined to Kate?

FYI said... 152

When Kate talked about the show, she always denied it was not scripted, that the kids just ran in and out of the frame(of the cameras). I was looking at YouTube clips and came across this video uploaded by TLC, entitled "Jon & Kate plus 8-Music Video". Although it never aired as part of the show, it's just telling how much the kids were used by Kate, Jon and TLC.

Everything that I know about Fashion Week would be info from Project Runway. I think it would be exciting and very hyper-energy and glamorous.

Kate may be trying very hard to fit in and present herself as a "lovely" person. Any experience that makes her feel like a STAH would inspire her best behavior.

No profit for her -- just promotion. Good luck, Kate.

After all, when the excitement is over, she has to return home to the meat slicer!

Too sweet, upsettingly sweet. I wrote requesting that he do an interview with her about Robert Hoffmann and his book, about the compilation by Hoffmann over the years of all grifting by both K & J, how the kids are still on youtube on potties in the driveway, how she became a maniac with how she treated people. He should do an interview and ask about all the "love offerings" and let her tell the truth and build a foundation of kindness for a career, but what the hell would she do? A career? Magician? I don't know other than she is a has been and I asked Rob to please have his staff review all the youtube expose' of the children, the phony cooking/cleaning/laundress that never was in Kate Gosselin.

He is so aware of the dislike of her. I asked him, since she said she is doing this for FREE< if she paid for her transportation/hotel, then it is charity. Not if someone paid to bring her to NY via Limo, put her up in a hotel with a bodyguard and fix her hair and makeup and put her in a gown. She is a farce. She did nothing for free unless she PAID FOR EVERYTHING UP TO AND INCLUDING tipping the hairdresser/make up artist, which all Top Notch PEOPLE/human beings do.

Thank you, I just curtsied for you all.

A special thanks to the person who recommended Woman Within a couple of weeks ago. This post-menopausal woman just received her first order from there. I was previously thin, but now plus sized -- partly due to my non-surgically enhanced but rapidly expanding breasts.

Thanks to the recommendation above I now have clothes that don't have necklines down to my navel (oh, my aging chest), sleeves (oh, my aging arms), the all important pockets (love pockets). To try to keep this vaguely Kate relevant -- I used a coupon and for <$100 got 6 items.

Oh, don't want to sound clueless but what is fake potatoes, do you mean instant potatoes?

The squash spaghetti sounds so good. I don't cook a whole lot since I work 3-4 12 hour shifts a week,I also know I am not eating healthy. I sometimes cook up a few things on weekends to bring for lunch. It's just easier to go thru MD's or Wendy's and pick up salad.

Yep, I wrote to Rob Shuster, dared him to interview her about the Items He Wanted Answered, if she disagrees, then it is all true (grifting, love offerings, etc.) and her career is a bunch of bull, like Carolyn said.

Write to that site and he is getting your e mails, not tweets. I love this. We have a voice with one of the top writers and visitors to the morning shows and the evening junk shows about celebrities. Ask her the questions and ask her about her address being Beverly Hills.

I think that Milo is another phone line Kate has that is known as Milo, honest. No one is that in love with her, please her own kids area afraid of her.

Administrator; You did good, Great with those tapes. The RV trip and Ashley falling apart, after 5 yrs. and Kate says Ashley was being overly dramatic as she sat there with her dress up to her ass, her face looking fierce like she could "eat her young" and she is one mad witch, no doubt about that. Even Steve said they had problems together. Yep, TLC fried her ass, if she was angry it was against TLC's editing and she took it out on Ashley and that Jaime (now Jaime is back to wash the stove vent? Well, she comes back to visit her kids who live here, right? No Custody and she lives in the midwest, just saying, something not exactly right there either) As Jaime says "we are the closest to Kate, the only ones" and boy do I believe her.

Write to Rob Shuster at his aol.address: naughtynicerobe@aol.com, use your gmail address, just tell him like it is from day 1 with the love offerings, wow I would love to have the IRS see that one on Huffington Post.

By the way Administrator, Thank you for the trip last night to celebrate the One Year Anniversary of Kate being off TV. It was a wonderful trip.

I must say you are all so thin. I couldn't get over your beautiful skin, all of you are just 20 yrs younger than your real age. How do you do it?

I guess Your Medicore Lives are responsible for all that energy you have. You never complain, you never, ever grift, always giving back. What a wonderful group you all are. We did have the most handsome drivers, huh? Yes, it was nice of Steve to volunteer his time as our bodyguard and his staff. How kind he is.

Everything was free and I had a lot of doggie bags as you all did. Nothing like leftovers from Nobu and Fig & Olive, huh? You Canadians, what great cooks! Thank you for your warm welcome.

Did you not love the ride up the Calif/Washington/Oregon coastline everyone? Well, I'm tired as we talked, laughed and joked and just loved every moment of our time with each other.

Thank you Administrator. You certainly should be elevated to the Supreme Court and you have my elected official's vote, if that occurs.

This Blog is one of the best I have ever seen. Lurked and stalked you all for years but so glad to be apart of it.

Kate has no shame. It is amazing that she could smile, and on National TV tell everyone that they were medicore. She insults every person who work a job, everyone, even those camera daddys from TLC have medicore jobs, did she realize that? I'll bet she treated those producers with TLC so badly that they cannot even be in touch with her.

Oh, Milo? Vitamin D might help Kate with her baldness, you might want to let her know that it is the latest thing for Kate and her hairline.

Sorry for rambling but I saw those 2 blips above, even Stephanie is here to watch, but when I saw the photoshopping, I lost it, too funny. So tonight Kate is on the town in NY with who? She will be by herself and on her way back to lousy ghetto Wernersville. lol lol lol lol lol lol

Again, thanks for all the company on the trip. If we decide to do it again, I can try to grift another one. I learned how from that book Kate wrote "How to Beg"

In that picture everyone else has normal colored hair-her's practically glows it is so UNNATURAL!

I watched Dance Moms last night-I love to watch the kids dance, I just block out all the bickering among the mothers. I hope that all the fighting is scripted and that the kids know it is for the TV show but I think 2 things are real-the girls friendships and their talent. Last night little MacKenzie jumped into Brooke's arms after she danced and she gave her such a loving hug. There is a big age difference between those two so I thought it was so sweet. Also, Chloe and Maddie genuinely supported each other even though they are each other's competition.
-------------------------------------
I love the chicken too-I pick them up at Costco. One night I wasn't feeling well and my son was the only one home. I gave him a fork and told him that was dinner! He eats a lot-he is 6'6" and weighs about 250 so he can. I always thought that Kate is lucky those kids are of small stature. One night last spring my son was up late studying for high school finals and asked me for a snack.
Me: "How about grilled cheese" DS17:"OK" Me: "How many would you like?" DS17:"Four" And he wasn't kidding! Feeding him is like feeding 5 of Kate's kids.

You know what? Every "hater" that writes to this Rob person only confirms what Kate says - that there are crazy people out there attacking her for just being herself.

Two things will happen, regardless of whether you write the HP article guy or not:

1) Kate is trying to be more pleasant and easier to work with in hopes of getting more work in the industry. Given her past rep, she will have a long row to hoe IMO. However, I give her a clap for trying to change if that is true. If she gets more work, fine. I don't have to watch her or listen to her and as long as her kids aren't being filmed she can try to earn money any way she chooses.

2) Kate will once again be her own worst enemy and will only confirm her reputation as a spoiled, narcissistic, no talent washed up reality star.

In either case, she isn't worth the effort to try and convince some entertainment journalist that she is evil incarnate. Those who are waiting for the world to share their opinion of Kate will be waiting a long time, I fear. The rest of the world doesn't care, to be quite honest .

Rob doesn't give a rat's rear end if Kate collected love offerings, if she's the champion grifter of toilet paper, or if she's needing new implants that she lied about in the first place.

What it would do is to show Rob that he's relevant and others are reading his tripe. He figures his article is going to generate responses. I wouldn't give him that satisfaction, but that's just me.

Kate, you really need to get a notebook to keep track of your lies in.
====

I agree. Either that or get the 14-year-old who is writing her shitzie blog to memorize all her lies. I was reading through the previous thread and found a short discussion of her twitter about getting 10 hours of sleep... which was kind of funny because on her website she told a fan a different story:

Oct 19, 2011

Q: How much sleep do you get each night?
-Patrick

A: Hi Patrick! I never ever ever get enough sleep! I survive on an average of 5-6.5 hours per night. I typically get up around 5:30 am and go to sleep around 11 ish pm. I would love to be able to say that I sleep 8 hours per night because that is what I need (everyone is different!) and that is healthiest but it just doesn’t happen for me…. Gee, I wonder why??? ;)

@Kateplusmy8 @RealFashionRW @derekfabulous @BttmlessClstNYC So here we R...abt ready 2rock&roll...no time 2b bashful Kate! Work it girl!

###############

Work it girl? Shades of Pretty Woman. When Julia Roberts, the hooker, went up to Richard Gere's car, her prostitute friend told her, Work it, work it Baby, work it! Work it, own it!"

Milo, get a grip and take a cold shower.

Kate proclaimed, "I typically get up around 5:30 am and go to sleep around 11 ish pm."

##############

Didn't At one time didn't Kate say that she goes to bed at 7:01 p.m.? Now she's increased that by four hours? When did this happen?

She really IS nuts, isn't she? It may be amusing to read these bizarre tweets, but I'm afraid this is not going to end well. Kate doesn't care about Milo and she does not need her encouragement. Milo is just too far gone to know it. I wonder what kind of brain misfiring causes an addiction like this.

So, according to Milo, this has been Kate's lifelong ambition -- to model a gown for charity? Who would have thought it?

One of the dumbest things Kate ever did was give a shout out to Milo on Dr. Drew. She said Milo wasn't feeling good or something lame like that and Kate wanted to wish her tweetie well. I thought to myself, what a complete idiot. She doesn't know this wing nut at all apart from relishing in all the attention this stranger gave her. Milo must have been on cloud nine, getting honourable mention on TV. When Milo tweets one of her sugar infused compliments to Kate, I wonder how Kate can possibly find this motivating and inspirational. It is bloody embarrassing. It creeps me out. I really can't stand obsequious people.

I loved the comment from the poster who said lights out man is probably the male nurse at the psychiatric hospital. Best line yet.

I remember her saying at one point she stayed up till the early hrs of the morning doing 'work', think she said she got 4-5 hrs a sleep a night.

She lies like a rug!

No, Milo tweeted the guy who was cheer leading to get Kate up to 100,000 tweets a while back. He asked Milo if she'd met Kate and Milo said no, but hopes to one day.

I gather that KT must be on cloud nine and will now have developed a lifelong ambition to be a model. Ughhh I hate when she gets so full of herself. Charity? What charity? I have dreamed of this all of my life. I am walking the runway for ME!!!

I think that this was discussed before on here...that she's in some kind of facility. What husband would tell his wife exactly at 11 p.m. that it's time to turn the lights out? I thought all along that it was just too weird, but anyone living with Milo (a husband) can't be screwed together too tightly.

Her tweets from last week prove her to be the liar she is about the time she sleeps...a few nights, it was lights out by 9pm!
I have 'only' (lol) three kids left at home, I get up at 530 each school day. I usually turn off the lights between 10:30-11:00.
My kids are older than Kate's, so to do her morning schedule without help would have her getting up NO LATER than 5am. There's just no way to get up, get dressed, get her dang coffee, then start waking all those kids, then prepare breakfast and be out the door if she didn't get up really early.
I say she has help in the morning, at the very least.
I bet she doesn't even SEE her kids until they are downstairs, dressed, hair done, and ready to eat some stale expired cereal.

Aviva Drescher is actress Fran Drescher's cousin. Maybe Fran can help Kate in Hollywood. Ha. There's a Stefanie from Reading, Pa who is letting Kate have it on Huffington Post. Another local Kate endeared herself to. I guess this Stefanie doesn't want to meet Kate somewhere.

Thanks, Sue. Then why, if she never met Kate, would Milo say that if the person would have met Kate that she'd see Kate in a different light? That sounds like she has a personal relationship with Kate.
Scratch that. It's Milo. You can't expect it to make sense!

I am probably the only person who has to ask this but...who is Norma?

So starting Kate's second year I sure hope she's gotten smaller actual attainable plans? Yeah right!

Runnin on the highway, thanks for sharing your personal experience with pet fountains about a week ago. Got one for Felix and he's been drinking a lot more water and is doing better. Watch out for cars on the highway, I might need more animal advise :)

fade2black -- I agree with you (for real). That's always been my big complaint about WomanWithin. I wear a 5 1/2 AAA shoe. It's next to impossible to find them anymore. WWI needs to realize that it's possible to be overweight and petite at the same time. Small shoe size wearers UNITE!!

Exactly. Don't try and make any sense out of what poor Milo says. Her tweets are creepy and sad at the same time.

Marie -- THere's a very famous old movie starring Gloria Swanson, called "Sunset Blvd". Ms. Swanson plays a delusional, washed up actress named Norma Desmond. She lives in the past, reliving her glory days, much as KK does, which is why we equate KK with Norma Desmond.

Re a career for Khate, does anyone remember those test/surveys you could take that would tell you what careers were right for you? I wonder what Khate's would/did say?

LoveMyGrandsons said... 199

I had one complaint about Woman Within that I told them verbally about and also wrote them a letter about it, too.

They are a catalog designed for larger women. Yet, all of their models appear to be a size 4-6! Clothes look different on a smaller woman than they look on a larger one, and considering the demographic they are trying to get, I found that somewhat insulting.

However, I noticed in recent catalogs that they do have some larger size women modeling the clothes. It still irks me, though, to have the tiny, petite women modeling.

Ok, Milo is not there, right? Why is she spending her time watching the clock for the time that Kate is going to walk down the runway? That is scary strange!
