The mind boggles.
I think a point we don't make enough is how embarrassing that crew must have been. Can you imagine the pointing, stares and cell phone picture taking when they traipse through with that crew glued inches away from their faces. Any child would be mortified. Maybe the tups were too little to get it but I bet the twins did.

Seems to me the road manager moniker happened before the corporations were formed. But so much has gone down in this long-running fiasco it's impossible to keep it straight - although some here do a remarkable job!!
I have a thing with rumors that spin off into 'truth'. And when these 'truths' are unfounded, we look bad. I do agree, this corporation thing smells very bad and I wouldn't be at all surprised if Steve were involved. Something about him always gave me chills.
I don't see how she can with a straight face admit to all the help she has and yet goes crazy on Jon for not staying on top of it. If she can't keep up with 8 kids and that house why was Jon held to a higher standard?
I was remembering the clip and article here that showed the kids returning home with Jon in the BBB. The 6 little ones were crying hysterically. Jon could not enter the property then. Robert Hoffman was driving the car Jon gets into at the end of the video.
I have a strong feeling he will cover that day in his book. I would love to know why those children felt the fear and anquish that they displayed that day upon arriving home. Even Jon comforting them did not quiet them.

At some point, people get sick and tired of being made fools of (except your 12 sheeple of course, they love it so keep it comin' for them) but folks just *CLAPSLAP* their hands in your face and tell you "YOU'RE DONE!", and they move on.
They move on from YOU and they move on from your kids. NO ONE pities your kids so much that they will roll money into you ever again. Ever. Frankly, they kids arent getting anything out of you anyway.

Hahahaha!!! So true!! I venture there rarely now -- with the exception of a few intelligent non-fans, the place reeks of smelly, wet wool.
The twins were unhappy a lot of the time. When Cara told her dad she wished it was only the four of them again (at the Crayola factory) my heart broke for her.
I don't think the sextuplets knew any other life than the one with cameras in their faces and the production crew always around. Then there was their #badmother constantly making them do dog tricks for the camera. I have to wonder at what point they discovered not everyone lived like they had to. Gawd, what a life.

There are just too many first hand accounts of J+K's "date nights", having volunteers, family like Jodi and Kevin to believe for a second that Kate never set foot off of her property for 2 entire years.

Dr Phil is no innocent, imo. He wanted to counsel the K&J not on their marriage, but on their 'brand'. He has no credibility with me...he's raking in the money as well.
Hmmm-just about an hour to go to the premiere of DWTS. Any bets on whether Kate will come out of her twitter silence to wish Pam good luck tonight? For someone who wrote a whole CC post about it, you'd think she'd say something by now.

Not a bad theory, Mel. Steve could be the source of the pics, Jon wouldnt have pics from the walk to the neighbor's. Perhaps that is what Robert had to take a lie detector test for - swearing his sources are legit and he himself isnt guilty of breaking of entering.
However, the most recent corporations were set up in June: SK8 Inc and then SK8 Productions. She wouldnt have done that if Steve had been IDd as Robert's souce.

Anyway, I wanted to offer another view on the "off shore account" mentioned here and elsewhere. I use the corporation search sites for various states alot. The listing from Preesi's site that says "foreign" is from the New York state corporation website. Foreign also means an out of state corporation; it is not originally incorporated in NY but is registered to do business in NY and is incorporated in another state. That listing also says "Jurisdiction: Pennsylvania" If you go to PA's corporation website and do a search for that corporation, it is incorporated in PA.
Just wanted to mention that. Thanks to Admin for having this blog and everyone else for the useful information I find here (Kate related or not!)

And liars. The pic looked so familiar and I finally figured out why. Down to the dead behind the eyes stare.
I can't even imagine what that marriage was like. Based on her note, she truly thought Jon's sole purpose was to do her bidding. Did she put anything into that marriage? Did she write the vows to say Jon is to do anything and everything I say, when I say it, how I want it and make me happy or I will be sure to make him miserable.
No wonder those kids have learned to ask about Mommy's runs, compliment any bit of slop she places in front of them, thank her profusely for any type of basic mothering, etc. It's survival in that house.
Does being raised by a severe narcissist like Kate turn out two kinds of people - either people pleasers or fellow narcissists? For the kids' sake, I hope not.
Nadya Suleman bothered me on Dr. Phil today too. She never seems to be "leveled out"--she's always off somehow.
And although Dr. Phil held Kate up as the apotheosis of HOM motherhood when he had her on to talk about how Suleman made bad choices, they both make awful decisions for their kids in order to "provide" for them.

Kate's new CC blog is up, and it is a very short blog. I say it was not done by Kate, a ghost writer at best. The blog is about: Flashnews from CC, on what coupons & deals are out there, cause according to the blog, Kate says, she does not like researching for anything. Just as I had always said. Kate does no research on anything: she is a cliff-notes/read the book summary. Another useless blog, and a very short one. (like slapped together in 5 mins)

SLIGHTLY OT:
I am back in the comfort of my own home (finally)! The Bear had requested that he convalesce at our family cabin and I agreed, but it was WAY more work than I imagined (including chopping wood) and he is a lousy patient. He says he owes me 'big time' for all of my hard work in keeping him happy, so I am thinking a puppy would be a good reward!
Anyhoo, of all the weekends to be away! Glad I was able to get some spotty coverage on my phone, so at least I was privy to Robert's dirt. It was so hard to stay updated and I tried so many times to post but wasn't able to. Finally I was able to post yesterday while we were in town. The Bear did not understand what was so important that I had to type away while in Canadian Tire, and I don't think my explanation would meet his sense of urgency. lol
I am very happy that there is finally going to be proof, PROOF! that kHatie Irene is a big old flat ass liar!!!!!!!! (x8 doncha know )
I have one friend who knows about 15 minutes. She doesn't understand my fascination with the G's saga, but she respects my interests. sometimes I will mention something to her and she will say "Are you still following that?".
I can not wait until Robert's book is published and the TRUTH comes out and I can say "See? I told you so!"

RE: RH and KT. He probably was enamored with her as well as many have been in the beginning, and he did much as we did in that something was just not right and started to watch her more closely to see if he could possibly be wrong, and found that no, he wasn't in fact right enough. Just that simple. She reminds me of one of my migraines (all memorable and deserving of names), it just gets worse and worse and just when you think it can't get any worse it does.

Thanks to those chiming in to provide insight and explanations on incorporating. I did take a corporations class but if not for a really excellent professor I'm sure I wouldn't have a clue. It was a subject fair game on the bar, but I got lucky and it wasn't on the bar I took (many arent--a cruel trick!). I remember something about piercing the corporate veil and how easy it is to protect both assets and liability behind corporations, but other than that you are on your own!
Hmm, that made me think. If the kids get around to suing for their money someday, I wonder if Kate will try to hide behind the protection of a corporation.

Good catch but I don't think that's him. Blankinship was an editor and sits in an editing bay. Boom mic sound men is a completely different job. You wouldn't do both unless you are on a very teeny tiny production. Blankinship was never credited for sound. He would have been if that were him. The guy in the Disney photo has a broader nose and grayer, thicker hair.
That said, how about the Disney sound guy? Who is he and where is his background check?

#45..I understand your feelings but I thought Marley and Me was absolutely wonderful. We had a Yellow Lab named Tucker for 13 years. He was a Marley, to the tee. He was very naughty but loving and we wouldn't have traded him for the world. We had to have him put down because of cancer in his hip. When he died, we were devastated for years. When we watched the movie we thought about all the wonderful times we had with him and we laughed through our tears. It brought closure for us. That's when we knew we were ready for our little mutt, Annie, who is bringing just as much joy to our life.

I bawled through the last 30 minutes of the movie. Anyone that has an animal will one day face what happened in the movie.
I've had to put down two of my mom's dogs due to illness/old age, and that was REALLY HARD. She had a third dog that became sick on a weekend, vet asst said to bring her in Monday. On Sunday, I just got the pressing need to go check on the dog that afternoon, jumped in the car to check on her. She had worsened, but still thumped her tail and tried to get up when she saw me (my mom was outside bawling on the porch), I just petted her, talked to her, said it was okay to go, that there was a certain family member waiting for her on the other side. She went a few minutes later. Afterwards, we buried her with her favorite blanket and toy in the backyard. I hope that dogs go to Heaven.

The best explanation I ever heard about heaven and dogs is that in heaven you will be perfectly happy and so if you need your dog to be happy, he will be there. I know I need mine to be happy so that comforts me.

Nah, no way. Sound isn't something you just step into and help out with. It's a highly trained, specialized position. If the sound guy screws up, the entire footage could be ruined and you'd have to dub it all over in a sound booth later. That could be impossible for little kids to handle. And would cost thousands.

I was walking my dog once and just seconds before another man walking his chihuahua the other way, and the dog got spooked by something and wiggled out of his collar and got hit by a car. It was awful. The man said he got the dog for his son and didn't know how he would tell him.
I just can't handle it. Ugh.
By the way, public service announcements. Please don't by regular neck collars for small dogs or dogs whose heads are small. It's too easy for them to wiggle out of it. I have a harness for my dog and not only can he not get out of it, but in an emergency if you need to quickly pull him it's more humane than pulling their little neck.

Right exactly! We've talked a lot about this. Film crews are revolving doors. That's why Kate's "they miss their family" crap is so ridiculous. Even if the show resumed again six weeks after it was canceled the odds that even one of the old crew members are actually available to return and not committed to the next project would be outrageous. It would be an all new crew, all new strangers.
Well then, whew! If there's no connection, I see that as very good news! Meanwhile, the floodgates of Truth keep opening wider...
I saw them filming Marley and Me! The PA parts were filmed in West Chester. I saw them turn a street into wintertime even though it was 70 degrees and we waited for Jen Aniston to come out but she apparently didn't come out of her trailer until after midnight. It was the very first scene where they drove into a snowbank on their wedding night. I also saw them turn a Chiropractic office storefront into a vet storefront for a scene where they bring Marley. The house scenes were also flimed nearby...pretty cool!
I think the similarities are just a good reminder that you don't know who anyone is. They could be anyone. ANYONE could have been around those kids without any kind of protections in place to keep them safe.
That's not Bill Blankinship, but it COULD have been.

Similarity, but the nose is wrong. Unless Blankenship had a nose job after the Dumbo ride, I'm not so sure it's the same guy. The person with the sound equipment has a very heavy prominent nose.

By the way, public service announcements. Please don't by regular neck collars for small dogs or dogs whose heads are small. It's too easy for them to wiggle out of it. I have a harness for my dog and not only can he not get out of it, but in an emergency if you need to quickly pull him it's more humane than pulling their little neck.

The listing from Preesi's site that says "foreign" is from the New York state corporation website. Foreign also means an out of state corporation; it is not originally incorporated in NY but is registered to do business in NY and is incorporated in another state. That listing also says "Jurisdiction: Pennsylvania" If you go to PA's corporation website and do a search for that corporation, it is incorporated in PA

I have a Yellow Lab who is every bit as wicked as Marley was. (I save the b.a.d. word for very serious offenses). I was ok with the movie until she said, "Goodbye Clearance Puppy" and then it hits me how fast it goes.
I don't think I have ever predicted Kate behavior accurately. But, I wonder if her silence means that she got caught up with all the "news" about her. If she is reading and collecting info, she has to be in a panic.

I'm watching DWTS All-Stars right now, and there are a lot of previous contestants in the audience. Kate has been dropping a lot of hints about something exciting coming up, so could she be there in the audience? I haven't seen her, but it's not unusual for her to be somewhere and not filmed or photographed **Emmys last year**. And no tweets since early this morning.I suppose we'll find out soon enough, since she so loves to tweet about things after they occur.

I am going to enjoy Dancin With Them Thar Stars! I think Bristol Palin has worked hard, her improvement is good. If Ms Kreider had been nice to people and worked hard on her dancing, maybe she would have been invited back. Saint Tony is paired with Melissa Rycroft who was on the Bachelor, she is really good! What I'm really appreciating about Gosselin blog is he is showing actual photographs.
He can say how things were, he can say they did multiple takes, but the sheeple will always find a way to discredit it. It's harder however to dispute that that says take 4. I mean what can you say? You can argue over whether takes are "bad" but you can't dispute there were takes.

Hey?! This is getting to be fun! Evidently, Robert Hoffman has join the conversation here and is participating to the discussion by his different posts. ("Bonjour, Robert!") His latest, "We are not scripted" looks very much like his contribution to a short exchange I had with Tucker's Mom and Njay, earlier this afternoon. (116, 118, 133, 134) A little strange. But I like it somehow. Could be an intriguing first chapter for a mystery novel.
I too watched DWTS. However, I don't think it's shown live on the West Coast, so perhaps we should hold off any discussion about it until tomorrow.

Big deal you have 8 kids. Chances are people were only curious in the beginning because maybe six babies was cool or whatever but having multiples seems to becoming more common with IUI or whatever these days. Only reason you think your feel special is because people watched you and thought your edited reality was the greatest thing on earth and you road that train so far you forgot to get off when it went over the rails long ago.

There is a lot of info being released. My main concern has always been the kids and what they had/have to live through at the hands of their parents.

My main question and concern is when will these kids get a break from Kate's constant tweeting about them, with pictures on CC, her blog and Twitter? When is she ever going to stand on her own two feet and leave the kids out of the equation? Why can't a Family Court Judge order her to stop posting private info about her kids publicly in their right to privacy, as any normal child would be afforded? When is their privacy going to be restored? This is a serious question as I am not sure when this will ever happen.
Also, when is a judge going to tell her to get a job?

Kate must be getting so paranoid and scared, that's why she's not on twitter as much. She's probably on the phone and meeting with her attorneys to do something to stop this, and do it NOW. I would not want to be in her shoes when the big reveal is published. She can grift all she wants today, but when it becomes known how much she hoodwinked everyone, her grifting days will be over.
My only regret is that the children have to live with her and are probably enduring her wrath already. I'm sure she will be hard on them when the sh-- does hit the fan. I hope Jon will stay close and protect them from her.
Oops. I got the divorce date wrong. She told him the marriage was over in Oct. 2008, the divorce was final in Dec. 2009. So much for my theory.
I am of the opinion that if Kate did form a corporation before the divorce, there is no way that it was not discovered during the divorce. I don't think she could have hid anything from Jon in that corporation. If money was put into that corporation, it was money made by both Jon and Kate and would have been subject to the terms of the divorce.

Excellent point, Michelle. In the Orlando area, you pick a theme park and go for the day, most of the time. It takes time to walk around, stand in lines, go on rides and eat.
After that, you're exhausted!

Well this one takes a big ole' cake. These bracelets are made for serious causes, like LiveStrong and Susan G Komen and other things that really, truly matter in the whole big scheme of things.
Again, Kate should have said that the sentiment is great, and she loves the support, but wear and support a cause that NEEDS help and awareness.

I don't think they made $25,000/episode for all 115 episodes. I think the first 2 "seasons" (what, 8 - 12 episodes each) were at a much lower rate. I think they were offered a couple thousand dollars (2 - 4) per episode, and jumped at it, and renegotiated after the show became popular and advertising revenue took off.

My theory is that Jon knows he did a lot of things wrong, and is willing to air his dirty laundry because what he did is nothing compared to Kate.
I predict a slant in the writing towards Jon, where everything will be blamed on Kate. I hope I'm wrong. They were in this together for a long time.
That said, I believe Jon has made great strides lately.

For those who complain about bitter coffee, try cold brewed heated up. Cold brewing brings out all the taste without the bitterness (that comes from the heat) and it's also less acidic. I'm hooked on ice coffee is the ONLY way to go - cold brewed is so SMOOTH and yummy! Just google it - there are tons of recipes.

We use @Keurig because DH drinks caff and I drink decaff and we generally use cream or 1/2&1/2 for a small pleasure.
Life used to be all about low to no fat for me and I tolerated coffee with skim milk and occasional, whole milk.
Not now, and that approach to being healthy just plain doesn't work.

Hmmm....I've got to wonder who Hoffman's sources are. It could very well be someone from TLC or Figure 8 who no longer cares about non-disclosure agreements or whose NDA expired when her contract did.

Which information? Robert took the photographs he's posting himself, not anyone else. Robert listened and observed all these years himself. Robert hung onto emails and notes shown to him. The bulk of this appears to be from his own firsthand knowledge when he was around the family.
And wasn't Steve's daily rate while being on the road with just Khate quoted @ $1,600? (not the $800 he got for being with the entire family)
Kate posted this picture on Twitter. I have no idea why. She didn't publicly post it anywhere I can see, and the kids are all holding photos? So I think it's a thank you picture? Anyway, you can see that one of the little girls has braces (who gets braces on an 8 yr old?)

But, the most alarming part of this pic is bottle of wine on the dresser behind them. Also, the dead bolt on the bedroom door. That's terrifing. I read a chapter last night in "All I want you to Know" titled "blood, banda-aids, and baths in the kitchen sink" and was already thinking that Kate doesn't deserve those kids, but now I'm positive.
Another interesting tidbit is the plate on the dresser with the post-its. Kate writes in the book, "*#$& received a plate to decorate for Christmas. Recently, when I was traveling, she decided to decorate it and then so sweetly chose to give it to me. When I got home, she left the Christmas plate in my room with two Post-It notes stuck to it." (pg175) The child wrote some really sweet sentiment which I won't post here because I think those things should remain private.

The most chilling part of "I Just Want You to Know"...not that I really believe this story, but even just that she wrote it and believes that it shows her in a good light and is not a big deal is scary!

She finds the room trashed, the kids all a mess having gotten into butt paste and taking off poopy diapers. She bathes them, the LEAVES THEM ALL IN THE BATHROOM SO SHE CAN GO GET HER CAMERA AND TAKE PHOTOS OF THE ROOM. (totally ignoring the whole the kids could drown in the toilet or slip on the floor bit.)
She writes, "There were shards of glass everywhere, and the kids were walking all around them....(after getting camera) When I walked back into the war zone--their bedroom--I surveyed the damage and took photos. I still couldn't believe it: Dressers were knocked over with drawers spilling out their contents. Light bulbs and lamps were broken, which is where the glass came from. It was nothing short of a miracle that no one was hurt or cut....I started to freak out, but consoled myself by remembering that no one was hurt or trapped under the dresser....(she calls Carla to come clean it)....I picked my way over to the dressers and pulled out clothes for church (can't be late for VBS!) and shut the door on my way out. I didn't see the room in that shape again. Carla and her husband cleaned the entire room by the time we got home, and it was as good as new--with only the patch of missing drywall to remind me." (comments in () mine). pg 126-7)
Two photos accompany this story, but the photos do not show the dresser knocked over, nor do you see any broken lamps, which is why I don't totally believe this story, but still.
She asks herself why she didn't hear anything going on. I'll tell you Kate, it's called a baby monitor. You should have bought one, plugged it in, and actually listened to it. Then you would have known that your kids clearly gave up naps a long time before this!

Hello Steve relaxing with a bathtub-sized girlie drink.
mamaK, I forgot about that incident but it's a scary one. If she couldn't hear all of that from where she was how would she hear anything if one of them ran the water in the bathrub and scalded themselves or drowned?
There was another incident recounted where she left the kids inside and was doing something in the garage and one came out cut up so bad that someone said she might need stitches. Kate says they never did know what happened because they were too little to explain. She acts like this is funny. It's not.
People lose their kids to foster care every day for lack of supervision. Even just for a second. Some even find themselves in jail if it's bad enough. And in some cases, kids end up dead. A friend of a friend just lost her 13 month old to a drowning accident. She has a fence around the pool but the night before because it was so late she didn't put it back up. The next morning when she was at work and her husband was getting ready for the day her 13 month old opened the deck door and fell into the pool and drowned. Awful. It's that quick.

uh..what? as Kate says, 'you have got to be kidding me!". that's insane. I didn't read her books, dont' know the ages of the kids at the time of the destruction, but that sort of mess takes TIME, and lots of it. How in the world can you NOT hear dressers hitting the floor (even with carpet), glass breaking? a dresser had to have hit the drywall to do that sort of damage, and that would have been some noticeable noise.
What could she have been doing to not hear something like that? I have a two story house, and anything dropped, I hear downstairs. She's lucky none of the kids were hurt.

How could people read that and think Kate is "inspirational?" First she left her children alone waaaay to long without checking on them, obviously and then has other people come and clean up the mess created by her ignoring the kids.
