Costume Party winners announced: Aggiemom and FotK!

Thank you everyone for coming to the costume party. The two winners that were drawn this evening are:

Comment 99 from Aggiemom:
"I think I'll be a lunchbox with a day old sandwich in it.
or maybe a grape..."

You're cute as a button, Aggie!

And the second winner is FotK, who brought organic slop dip to the party, which no one ate, though that doesn't disqualify her from the prize.

Comment 117 from FotK ...
Why is no one eating the slop - er, um - organic dip I brought? Honestly. I mean, to be honest. It is NOT mediocre. There's lots and lots and lots of cheese and organic canned black beans in it. And guacamole. It's supposed to be served with those 503 loaves of bread I baked in my 2 Cuisinart breadmakers

Mmm, cheesey and bready.

Please e-mail admin@realitytvkids.com with the e-mail address you wish to use to collect your prize--a $25 Kindle or Amazon gift card, your choice!

What you are describing is what I have gotten for 2 years. Its called Othovisc, Synvisc or something else depending on who your ins company
has contracted with. It has been very helpful. It is a series of 3 injections, 1 week
apart. Pain from the injection is minimal. It takes a day or 2 for the fluid to disperse through the knee, so you may have a lump at the
injection site. Weird but no biggie.

Not trying to make your decision for you, but don't not do it out of fear.

Oh, Formerly Duped, I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were Canadian. You'd be amazed at how many people don't know any Canadian cities or which province they are in... Anyway, sorry. I was not trying to be short or rude, I just saw the reference to Hamilton and had to chime in.

I'm very proud to have had Canadians in my immediate family. In fact, I'm the only American in my birth family.

Berks 197 - my co pay is also large but worth it. My doc has recommended a knee replacement, I am holding out as long as possible
for reasons of my own, having to do with multiple surgeries on my ankle. Relief is not instant - more like a week after the 3rd injection. Injection is not painful, more like pressure. They numb the area before injecting it.

I don't know why it bothers some people to know that Jon has 50/50 custody. Isn't that best for the children? They love both parents. I don't get why some people think Jon shouldn't have his kids. A father is very important. Can someone, Just Me, please clue me in?

--------------

It bothers the sheeple because it means that Kate isn't the sole supporter of the kids or the "Kate does it all" caregiver. Her claims of being an exhausted mom of eight, count 'em eight, falls short if she only has them two weeks out of the month, and since they are in school for nine hours on ten of those days, her cries of "I do everything for my kids" doesn't hold water.

Has anyone seen Stephanie lately?

Thank you so much for your reply and hugs to you and your dear daughter.

~~~~~~~~
I responded to something directed to me, personally....using my (misspelled) name, and giving me advice based on inaccurate information. In my opinion, IF you are going to use ''2RN'' as a user name, and give medical advice, you should make the effort to NOT get ''mixed up'' about which poster they are talking to!!
I say what I mean, and mean what I say....so I'm now moving on w/any discussion about my personal life!
For the life of me, I can't figure out why on earth Audible Click's list (195) made me think of this list, but here it is, for all of you, Doxie lovers :
A dachshung thought
Author Unknown
1. If I like it, it’s mine.
2. If it’s in my mouth, it’s mine.
3. If I can take it from you, it’s mine.
4. If I had it a little while ago, it’s mine.
5. If it’s mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.
6. If I’m chewing something, all the pieces are mine.
7. If it looks just like mine, it is mine.
8. If I saw it first, it’s mine.
9. If you are playing with something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine.
Come to think of it, as I re-read this list, dachshungs are a little katish, aren't they? Or is it kate who's a little dachshungish? (You will have to be patient with me tonight: I've been "experimenting" with this strange italian cocktail mix, Aperol, and I think it just might be just a little too strong for this rumspringa girl...)
About the Service Flag
The Service flag is an official banner authorized by the Department of Defense for display by families who have members serving in the Armed Forces during any period of war or hostilities the United States may be engaged in for the duration of such hostilities.
The Service flag, also called the Blue Star Flag, was designed and patented by WWI Army Captain Robert L. Queisser of the 5th Ohio Infantry who had two sons serving on the front line. The flag quickly became the unofficial symbol of a child in service. President Wilson became part of this history when in 1918 he approved a suggestion made by the Women's Committee of the Council of National Defenses that mothers who had lost a child serving in the war wear a gold gilt star on the traditional black mourning arm band. This led to the tradition of covering the blue star with a gold star on the Service flag to indicate that the service member has died." Those ladies are called Gold Star Mothers.
Fellow Canadians Auntie Ann and White Organza, I can tell that neither of you live downtown in Hamilton! Parking spot - what's that?
The handicap lanes are full too. Hospitals charge 15 bucks to park in their lot.
We gave up our car 25 years ago and use public transit, taxis and rent-a-car.It's cheaper in the long run.
I would love for Kate to try and get around in The Hammer!She would be carted off screaming to our wonderful new Mental Health facility (not such a bad idea - should I invite her here for a visit?)
That's so funny you said the 'Hammer'. I live there! I work in those hospitals that charge 15 bucks but I park across the street for 2.00.
And for what it's worth, I do think Jon is struggling financially. Mainly because he has said recently that he is struggling financially. I don't know or care about his electric being off but agree with those that said his kids won't be taken away because of it. Maybe if it was in the middle of winter and 20 degrees out and there was no heat in his house...but it's still fall and not cold enough to put the kids in harm's way. The electricity thing is a non-issue.
When I was eight years old and we had a terrible and completely unexpected ice storm (they were only predicting a mild snow storm that evening not an catastrophic ice event) and we lost power for A WEEK and had school cancelled for a WEEK I'm glad no one took me away from my parents.
We were so cold we were crying. They took us to the local fire station where there was an emergency shelter set up the first day. Then we went to a friend's house that night who had a nice warm fireplace. Then the rest of the week we went to my grandparent's a couple hours away who still had power. I look back on it as a GOOD memory, we had so much fun together. Oh and to top it all off the friends we stayed with, their 5 year old had just started chickenpox the day before (Murphy's law!!!!) so we took her older sibling with us to the grandparents so she could get out of the house. She only met them that one time and STILL talks about it all these years later and came to my grandmother's funeral telling that story of her generosity to just take her in no questions asked and take the burden off her parents so they could tend to their sick child in the middle of a catastrophe.
When something goes wrong either by mother nature or whatever, good parents just buckle down and figure out how to keep kids safe. CPS does not even dream of getting involved in parents who take measures to take care of their kids and keep them safe during rough times. That's just insulting to suggest that good parents don't know how to keep their kids safe when things go wrong.
Loved that list! My sweet little doxie was pretty much that way. Whatever she happened to have, a "chewie" or toy, she'd often sit with it between her paws with her head pointed straight ahead but looking at me out of the corner of her eye to make sure I didn't try and take it. I thought it was so funny. Not so funny if she had something she shouldn't, of course, but I'd get her something most delicious and she'd "trade."
But, please, Kate isn't dachshundish. Nooooo!
&&&
Or you could just stay with a friend who does have power, which is exactly what Kate said that Jon and the kids did. It's a non-issue for sure, since an appropriate plan was put in place and acted upon. Kate never said they were sitting there in the dark. They were at a friends UNTIL IT WAS SORTED OUT, per Kate's own tweet. There was nothing whatsoever wrong about that.
I think anyone who raises eight kids WITHOUT EXPLOITING THEM is going to struggle financially. The Dilleys did. Terribly so. The Dilley dad even lost his job at one point. They are no more special than anyone else struggling to raise a family. Have multiples, expect to struggle. Otherwise don't risk multiples. It's a risk you take and the Dilleys did so willingly. Guess what, much of America struggles, the economy has been in the crapper for ten years, the lifestyles we want can't be supported by most jobs people can get, this is how people live, paycheck to paycheck. It's not something I look down on people for, am critical of, or am not understanding of. I admire anyone who seeks to make an honest living without exploiting their kids even if the whole family will have to make sacrifices and not get every last little thing they want, end of story. I highly doubt all the sheeple are sitting there in mansions, based on what they are tweeting they all sound pretty darn mediocre to me--statistically speaking most of them should be struggling too just like much of America. All this vile hatred about one little tweet sounds like overcompensation to me--perhaps they once missed a bill and had this happen? Perhaps they felt like terrible parents and have to overcompensate by lashing out. I have news for them--a lot of people are struggling and I'm sure you do the best you can and no one thinks you are a bad parent just because you did the best you could but still couldn't pay all the bills last month. And if that never has happened, it COULD, to ANY OF US, and I hope for your sake no one is as vile to you as you have been these past few days when it's you in those shoes.
Administrator, We volunteer , one of us does 6 to 8 hrs at The American Red Cross Shelter bi weekly near where we live. So do most of the nurses and doctors. Retired Volunteers at our hospital also help.The Shelter houses single persons, 1 and 2 parent families with children or child. It is a TEMPORARY living situation.This Shelter is overflowing.The waiting list is so long, you would cry.Each family or person has a different set of experiences and needs.
If a parent can give a child to a relative while they live in the shelter seeking employment and a place to live, it is encouraged. Teenagers willingly go to live with a friend. It is easier for them to keep up with school, participate in school activities, also remember people will help 1 family member but cannot afford to house the entire family.We have counselors, therapists, medical personnel available 24/7 everyone is investigated. Comfort is dining together, family room with TV, library with computer(sign up sheet for those job hunting)large dorm rooms with cots, men on one side, women on the other, little privacy except for the bathrooms. Showers are sign in sheets and schedules.We have amazing volunteers who transport our families to job interviews, dr appts, social service appts, school meetings, school events. The volunteers give so much and only once have I seen anyone lose their child and it was a drug problem. Shelters like ours are there to give a helping hand,not to destroy families. Families hesitate in coming to our shelter feeling ashamed but when jobs are lost, housing lost, savings gone, family and friends can no longer afford to help the entire family, then we find a way to help. No one sits on a cot all day doing nothing, no one. There is laundry, children need help with homework, ironing, help meals.Those young women with newborn babies need that rocking chair to nurse. Others we provide formula, diapers, everything you need when you are sick. We do everything possible to give a parent hope, keep the children feeling hopeful.It is TEMPORARY. Our job is to help them find a way to live in their own place again somehow, someway and we do it most of the time. Can I say that all families stay together after this traumatic event that goes on for a year or more being homeless?
No, it takes it's toll. A single mother can receive more aid from the State than a married couple can. Sad, but true.
Vote this week, we need help, we need jobs.
Kate Gosselin has an apartment over her garage? It would be wonderful to hear she allowed Jon to use it when he had his days with the children while he gets on his feet and saves some money.
My fear is she no longer trusts Jon in her house after the publication of this book. I blame the both of them for this public display of pure hatred of each other. The children suffer. They both should get off their butts (not saying Jon isn't trying but he may have to do more by seeking assistance to get better training) get jobs, less expenses with entertainment or wine/dine/movies and provide a living.
I am disgusted to hear that Jon has this problem and it has now become public information. This must stop they are killing their children's childhood.
I was checking out the Broadway shows, and came across "Scandalous," the story of Aimee Semple McPherson:
"Set in 1920s Los Angeles, Scandalous is based on the life of Aimee Semple McPherson, the trailblazing media superstar whose passion for saving souls was matched by her passion for making headlines. Holiness collides with Hollywood in the extraordinary tale of one woman's charismatic rise to fame. But as her popularity grows, so do her enemies, until her sermons, her celebrity and her past combine to put everything she believes in on trial."
I remember my grandparents talking about this woman...how her followers were so devout, so cult-like, that she could do nothing wrong, not even in the midst of a scandal in which she disappeared, claimed to have been kidnapped (it was suspected she was in hiding with a married lover), and yet her "sheeple" continued to defend her at all costs, even though all evidence pointed to her escapades being anything but godly.
It reminded me so much of someone else and those who follow her and worship her.
She said she noticed them when she rode by every day. What a nice girl!
The shelter was so happy to get the clothes. They sleep over 250 men every night and said some do not have a change of clothes. I was glad to clean them out of the house (too many memories) and know that they will be worn by someone who needs them.
If everyone took the time to look up what each candidate stands for then we may see both congress and the senate working together instead of what we have encountered for the past 4 yrs. I am talking about our US Senators and US Congressmen NOT WORKING TO PASS BILLS. The President of the US has to insist that they work together "cross the isle" they are not being voted into office to have excellent benefits, expense accounts, custom made clothing, elegant hotels to live in, they are voted into office to make decisions that could bring jobs to this country, research the ways we do not have to depend on China for everything we buy but make it here in the USA. Think about it folks before Tuesday, if you look up your State Senator and State Congressman, look to see how many votes they were ABSENT ON THAT DAY THAT THE VOTE WAS TAKEN. Where were they? Absenteeism counts in employment where I work, how about you or your family mambers? They leave office with pensions for the rest of their lives after serving 1 term, 6 yrs as a Senator, think about that and they have benefits for the rest of their lives.What do we get after 6 yrs with a company? Told not to let the door hit us on the way out and oh, we are sorry but we have to cut back.
Just look around at what we can no longer afford, going to a movie for $11 or more, eating out once a month and spend $100 for a family of 4, taking your children to a baseball game for less than $200 and snacks (you are searched so you can't sneak snacks in) the average policeman and fireman goes home with less money each year in Philadelphia. We ask them to give up their lives for us while the politicians live it up in Washington DC and it is the truth. Taxes are eating up paychecks, insurance rates are going up, utilities are going up, food is going up, nothing is going down in price. Tuition is going up in state colleges, life is too expensive and that is just for the necessities.
Look up your State Senator and State Congressman and see how many days they were absent. Go to their web sites and see how many people are employed on their staff. You would be amazed how many times during the terms of a US Senator from PA that he/she can redecorate their offices/chambers under the Pennsyvlania Constitution.
Get moving you now have 24 hours to get the facts.
Dual citizenship. My poor father was so confused. If he was standing in Canada he was a Canadian citizen. If he was in Great Britain
he was a subject of the Crown. Anywhere else in the world, including the USA, he was an American. Weird but true. But he only had to carry one passport, thankfully, the passport of
his residence, which was America.
I could probably have dual citizenship in Canada if I applied for it, by virtue of my parents' Canadian citizenships.
berks res., I wanted to share with you my experience with synvisc. I tore the cartlidge in my knee, didn't take care of it. I was bone on bone. Doctor recommended a knee replacement surgery. I wasn't ready. He said we could try the synvisc injections. On fridays, the doctor's office scehedules all the synvisc injections at one time. So we're in an open room with curtains. There's an elderly man across from me, the doctor gives him the injection in the knee, the elderly man never once flinched. Now my turn, the doctor comes in, feels arounds, makes a mark where he wants to do the injection. I asked if it hurts, doc said no. He injected me, and I jumped and said a few choice words. I told the doctor, you lied to me, you said it wouldn't hurt. He said, i didn't lie, it didn't hurt me. LOL. The following week, I saw that elderly man and told him how brave he was, he said it was his week 2 so he knew what to expect. I'll have to admit, the 2nd injection wasn't as bad as the first one, which took me by surprise.
Sorry to say, I got no relief at all and ended up doing knee replacement surgery.
If that is Socialized medicine, give me more please. Or at least, let us aply for Medicare if we can't afford private insurance.
Often, especially when you've just changed posts, I go to the first page to check and see if there have been any additional posts on the previous thread. There are numerous other procedures PA is required by law to go through to shut it off, per a new law signed by 2004 that protects the consumer.
I'm not trying to feed anything, nor be political, but I know IDModo personally. She's my friend and she's a good, honest person. Her comments weren't meant to be political, slam anyone or any country, it was just a point she wanted to make. She and I have had MANY discussions about the differences between health care here in the US and in Canada. My MIL was dying from cancer while IDModo was going through her health crisis. My MIL passed from her illness and subsequently we received a bill from the hospital for $64,000. That's just one bill. There are many more. She was on Medicare and had supplemental health insurance. Now my FIL will have to figure out how to pay that bill on a fixed income. So I am one of those friends she sees suffering financially. She just wanted to share her experience to give us food for thought. Well at least she is doing something finally but in disasters like this usually the Red Cross will tell you not to send your crap to them. They don't have enough man power to unpack, sort, throw out crap they don't need, organize crap they do, and distribute. Too much resources. This was a huge problem in Haiti. They literally were dumping packages. They need cash most of all or blood donations.
Awful, just awful.
The dog's owner had quite a time getting it off hubby. Hubby was a nervous wreck all night.
We didn't know the protocol for dog bites, but learned he HAD to report it to proper authorities and get a tetanus shot.
My husband presented the bill for the emergency room, the tetanus shot, and the new coat to the owner.
The animal patrol visited the owner, verified dog's shots, said dog must be quarantined to their house for two weeks.
Dog was in the yard today and tried to climb the fence as another neighbor was walking his own dog.
I never said, or implied. that my medical care was free. Of course it was paid for by our tax dollars.I was clear about that.
In Canada everybody's taxes pay for health care and everybody has access to it. It's not free.
That's all from me on the subject.
Thanks for that link Susan. It's really a nice video. I had forgotten about it. It's 3:14 minutes long and full of heartwarming pics of Jon and his kids.
I honestly don't think anyone could scrape together even 14 seconds of Kate doing anything remotely similar with them.
The blog color scheme is playing havoc with my eyes. I hope I can get used to it.
Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...
Is it the black background that is rough? I softened the link colors they seem good to me now.
Maybe a softer background, a less harsh black? Backgrounds can be hard.
Unknown said...
I do think it has something to do w/the black. My eyes don't seem to want to take in the entire page. It's as though they're continually trying to focus away from the black? I'm not sure how to explain it...I just know that it's not really working for me.
Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...
Didn't we have a black background for a very long time before? Maybe it just takes a bit to get used to it. I thought we did.
Unknown said...
Admin, maybe you shouldn't listen to me. I just had cataracts removed from both eyes, so I'm not sure if it's really the contrast w/the black background, or if it's my eyes are seeing things differently because they're not completely healed. Or if the things didn't bother me before because I was seeing through cataracts, which softened things. No more suggestions from me!! LOL
Unknown said...
But wait....maybe it is that there is too much black? If the blog were wider, so less black showed on the sides? Now that IS my last suggestion, I promise! LOL
It's not just you. Admin, the new blog layout looks messy and the color is hard on the eyes. I say this with all due respect and I'm probably in the minority here.
Really the whole point was to make it LESS messy. LOL.
I think I solved Readerlady's problem anyway. Now the four most recent posts are in the left sidebar!
The left sidebar is a lot smaller than the right sidebar Sleepless. Do me a favor and refresh, see if you can read it and if everything reads.
As a Canadian, I feel I must add my comments about our healthcare system. We refer to our system as "universal" not "socialized". It seems a small thing, but the word socialized seems to conjure up the idea of communism to some, which implies a second-rate approach to healthcare.
Universal healthcare is not unique to Canada, as many other industrialized countries embrace the same idea of providing coverage for all through taxation and funding from government. As IDModo said, our healthcare system certainly is not free, but nor do we see a bill, because it is fully funded.
Any concerns expressed about the American system does not reflect on the level of care, but to the access to that care without financial worry.
I don't think one's health should ever be a political issue.
I'm sorry for your husband's dog bite. I don't know what to say except that it sounds like you have a dog with an irresponsible owner. It's a sad situation because it's likely the situation won't change and the dog will get into more trouble for biting.
We recently adopted a 1 year old Lab mix that we're pretty sure has Pit Bull in him. He is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. He is a submissive pee'er so whenever he meets someone new, he pees.
That being said, he has a lot of energy, which is very common for these crossbreeds. If they don't get walked twice a day for 45 minutes or more and if they're not socialized with people and other dogs, they will misbehave.
We put our dog in training within 2 weeks of adopting him. He responded quite well. Again, this type of crossbreed is very intelligent and needs the mental stimulation that training provides.
The other thing to remember is that these animals are dogs. They are not humans. They have a whole language and social structure unique to them. You have to train them with that in mind. For example, our dog would jump and nip to get you to play with him when we first got him. Was he being bad? Was he a vicious dog? No. He was just being a dog. That's how dogs interact with other dogs and ask them to play. What did we do? Bring our hand down diagonally across our body in front of his face and say firmly "Uh-uh. Get down." Dogs don't like things in front of their face. We'd also immediately walk away and ignore him for 1-2 minutes (Dogs have short attention spans, so this is an appropriate amount of time. Never go longer than 5 minutes). He learned very quickly the right way to ask to play - how to bring the toys he wants to play with or to run in front of us if he wants to be chased.
Sadly, many people adopt animals without really being aware or willing to take proper responsibility for them, which means training, exercise and socialization. This is especially true of big dogs.
Again, I am so sorry for your husband's incident. This is something that shouldn't happen because it can be so easily avoided. I would suggest you speak with the neighbor, if you're comfortable, and remind him of the requirement that the dog be quarantined inside for 2 weeks. If you aren't comfortable, let animal control know.
Hey Parent in Lancaster, since you brought it up. Doesn't the Ordnung say you aren't to judge others? That's why most Amish won't sue people. And yet you seem perfectly OK with judging Kate based only upon hearsay and lies. Why is that?
*********************
Angela, when someone answers you, you ignore it or change the subject. So I will repeat what I said to you days ago.
I personally am not 'judging' Kate based on rumors. My opinion is based on film. The film of her grabbing her sons by the head and moving them, smashing Collin in the face when he was looking in the fridg, smashing Collin in the face at the bus stop photo, pinching Alexis' shoulder socket in that morning interview, mashing Joel in the face on the NYC bus, handflapping her children away from her without even glancing up at them, telling them she doesnt like living with them, threatening Collin with the destruction of his special, and only, special cuddle toy while he sobbed. These are SOME of the things I saw that, as a more experienced mom than Kate, I found very disturbing. There is always the chance however that computer graphics were used to create a Kate-look-alike and to physically and verbally abuse computer generated graphics of children on film. I remain open to that explanation. But if not, I do 'judge' any human who mashes little kids in the face rather than speak to them.
When was the last time an angry someone mashed YOU in the face as a way saying howdy, and how did you feel about it?
Don't care for the black background very much....
Tweet-le De Tweet-le DUMB said...
For those who cannot see everything on the page
you can change that through your browser. I have Google Chrome and to see everything on this page (or any page) I click on the button at the top right and then click on "increase" or "decrease" that is to the left of the word "zoom." If you click "decrease" the printing and everything else on the page becomes smaller therefore more shows on the monitor screen. If I "decrease" to 90% I can see the whole page. The printing is a bit smaller than I'm used to. Other browsers have the same function but with each one there is a different way to accomplish what I've just explained.
Sorry for the bold. I usually make a post that comes up right in the middle of a topic everyone is posting their opinion about and my comment gets lost in the shuffle.
As far as the page looking "busy," from what I've noticed many blog pages have the same look these days.
Re One for the Money:
Someone had asked about One for the Money, the movie, and I am a fan of the Stephanie Plum series, but I thought the movie was horribly miscast.
I didn't find Joe attractive at all and Grandma Mazur was way too big--she was always described as sprightly and small in the book.I also didn't like Katherine Heigel as Stephanie. Someone like Rachel McAdams would have been better.
My freshman year in college, we had an ice storm. Days without electricity, dangerous condition, put all those college kids in the dorms, burning candles for light, some drinking. Very little FLUSHING OF THE TOILETS, etc. I remember the Union cashiers had to write down everyone's student ID number and then how much the food was because the cash registers weren't working.
I don't believe Kate is actually sending a box of supplies to Sandy victims. She may tweet a pic , but she's too gd lazy & selfish to bother posting it. She takes her time with her fans' letters etc so why would this be different *snark* after all, it was so much FUN.
aggiemom09121416 said...
My opinion on the color changes? Maybe my difficulty with it is due to my wearing glasses?
Anyone ever experience someone turning the lights rapidly on and off in a room, and your eyes are trying to keep up with the change? That's how my eyes feel...they keep focusing black/lavender/black/lavendar....I have to turn away, blink and refocus. It is putting a strain on my eyes, almost like they burn.
Anyone else having this reaction?
Since this a kate blog, I must say the only thing she excels at is being a bit&&.
Hey, didn't someone compliment Kate's new 'do in a tweet, the same tweet in which he bashed her for bad driving? I'm not seeing anything fresh/updated in this picture.
FYI said...
My take on the blog changes:
The bad--I don't care for the black background. It's just seems so harsh and cold. I loved the blue marbelized background that was so easy on the eyes. Also, did the comment column's width get smaller? I liked it when it was wider.
The good--The picture of Jon and Kate at the top of the page is now off-center. So when I refresh the page, Kate is way to the left and not in my face.
Admin-this is not a criticism. No matter what the blog looks like, it's still our blog, our place to speak about the DIABOLICAL Kate Gosselin, and to go OT and talk about other things. And to me, that's all that matters.
FYI said...
If Kate is donating anything at all, she probably first contacted the place where to send donations and told them "I will send supplies,etc. but first send me a postage paid shipping package."
FYI said...
Another thing about the changes to the blog--I use IE, and it will not let me see the "Recent posts" in the left side bar. Just like when Kate's tweets were on this blog, IE will block certain scripts on this page.
TLC stinks said...
Improbable, if she has a new 'do, it would have to be shorter or maybe it was styled differently and Kate cannot replicate it. You are right, though, it looks no different even pulled back. Man, she is one haggard looking witch. She didn't need a mask for Hallween, LOL.
TLC stinks said...
Since for some unexplained reason INF has decided to tail the witch, I would love for them to take a pic of her loading grifted boxes into her car. No way is she donating to Sandy victims. No way is she boxing up anything.
Admin-thanks for going back to the blue background. It's a lot easier on the eyes.
As far as having the newest comments first--I prefer it the way it is. It's easier(for me) to follow the conversation by reading the oldest comments first(from the top) and scrolling down.
We all have different preferences, but it is totally your decision. Whatever you do, remember you can't please everyone and no matter how this blog is set up, the important thing to remember is that this blog is here for us, no matter what format it is in.
