But wait a gosh darn minute. They communicate so often in so many different ways. Why would Milo have to let Kate know that she's just a tweet away. Forget tweeting, Milo...use your phone, DM, e-mail, or whatever way it is that you and Kate communicate!
There's just something off about these Daily Mail photos and I can't put my finger on it. On the top photo, look at the difference in focus of the wall on the left side of Kate, then the right side. It's pretty extreme like something was dodged out behind Kate maybe. Then, on the bottom picture, look how straight and perfectly focused the "Thank you for shopping at Giant" is on the front of the cart - almost unnatural. Like I said, it just looks odd but I'm not an expert.

Beyond disappointing news, but 100% confirmed. Bob Deakyne scammed good-hearted people out of thousands of dollars. Claimed he had cancer.
I remember this was the guy(@BigBob24266) BV was helping by giving him money, giving him cell phones, etc. BV fell for his tale of woe. A lot of BV followers apparently helped him too, based on what BV did.
You would think BV would have vetted this guy before taking him under his wing. I guess as long as it makes him appear to to be the "good guy", he'll believe anything.

I finally broke down and looked at the pix on the Daily Mail site. Wonder what KK would have to say about one of her daughters wanting to go out in public looking like such a hot mess? She looks unkempt and scruffy and as if she's
sorely in need of a bath. She certainly didn't buy much in the way of groceries, either. I bring home more from my shopping trips and it's just me and my cat! I agree, though, Hannah looks adorable. Either the not-a-nanny or one of her big sisters did her hair for her. No way KK spends that much time working on her daughters' hairdos.

It was totally appropriate weather for a summer tank. It was not chilly at all. In fact, it was very humid, and very tropical...in fact, it was so warm even without the sun, I kept looking at the sky and the black clouds, thinking something's got to give -- either a severe storm or straight-line winds.

No good ones from the hubs lately. But last night he made me and the kids laugh. You know how sometimes you start to say a word, but for some reason you try to change it and it comes out all wrong? He did that. We were eating supper, and he told my son that he could have some "cowled" watermelon if he wanted some. I think he was starting to say "cut" but then decided to say "cold," so it came out "cowled." The kids and I got a good laugh. I assured him that we were laughing AT him, not WITH him. Hee hee

It doesn't matter how many small outlets (cafemom, Rob) pick up the article about Kate the fact remains that the main stream media doesn't care so doesn't publish them. Kate is not marketable any more because people in the business talk and she's got a bad reputation as a diva.

It was steamy yesterday. Eighty degrees is NOT chilly. I had a tank top on all day and I was warm (and I'm not going through the change!). Picking on Kate is one thing, but criticizing her for wearing a tank top on a humid day is just really over the top.

They aren't YOUR kids, Milo. You have your own kids. Take care of them and don't be concerned with a mom, who is a stranger to you, and her children. To be so obsessed with seeing how another person's children are growing is more than creepy.

It all comes down to money. Can (fill in the blank) make money from offering Kate a job. What are her long-term prospects for bringing money into the (fill in the blank). If she makes money, (fill in the blank) would put up with her diva attitude and demands. Can Kate stand alone without her children in the picture. IMO, no. She has tried that and not succeeded.
It all comes back to filming the kids again. Even though the kids are older they are still unique. Kate is not unique, she's just another mother of eight kids. Big deal (sarcasm). So now it comes down to, can (fill in the blank) make money off the kids.
And once again, it comes full circle...filming the kids and Kate being in the picture thinking she is the star.

Kate burned that bridge down to the ground a long time ago.
Does anybody think Kate is not getting TV "work" because she wants to sue everyone, and she really is not that easy to be around? (Never mind she has nothing to offer.) I would be afraid to sign a contract with her even for a 5 minute spot on a show. It seems the make-up and costume people on DWTS had her number and made her look like a drag queen. It seems they got revenge without Kate even noticing.
Like Mara Wilson said, some fans will never, ever let you grow up. Who cares how much they weighed? They're 12, it's over! Maybe it might come up when they have kids of their own but for heaven sake who cares otherwise.
Have you noticed most of these fans never ask "forward thinking" questions? For instance, no one asks, are the kids looking forward to middle school/high school soon, or the next grade? What do they want to be when they grow up? How have they changed since they were little? What are they into now, what do you think they will be into in the future?
It's always backwards thinking. Talking about episodes when they were four, talking about birth weights, talking about things they said when they were 3 and things they were interested in when they were 5. Constantly wanting to relive things they did when they were toddlers. It's bizarre, and creepy. These people can never let go of the fantasy of that brief moment in time when the kids were tiny and cute and the show was a hit. It's over. It's over, folks. Accept it and leave these kids be to grow up.

Good point! I wouldn't hire someone who loved to sue. Too risky. Even if I had a fine legal team and even if I were 100% right, there are always going to be people who believe the other side, and it's not worth the bad PR. Unless this person is really really talented and it's worth the trouble, people don't want to work with celebs who are divas or cause trouble. Barbara Streisand and Celine Dion get away with diva behavior but they make up for it in the millions they generate. That's just not Kate. Contrary to what may be popular belief, there aren't necessarily a lot of divas running around Hollywood. Most people can't afford to behave that way. And therein lies the problem. She thought she was in group A where you can behave like that and it's fine, when really she was in group D where if you behave like that, there are many other D-listers who are much less trouble they'd like to invite aboard instead. Kate is not talented enough or a big enough draw to warrant the drawbacks of bringing her abroad. She may have been once, but that ship has sailed. Now she will be expected to behave herself like everybody else in her category or they're not interested. The source, her friend, sure is saying a lot that's quite consistent with kate saying she's been a busy busy bee lately, "working." Yes, working at a lot of failed pitches, it sounds like. Poor thing.

I find it obnoxious that none of these fans seem to consider that maybe Kate should focus on her kids and not on their silly twitter escapades.
They demand SO much of her and never, ever say anything like, that is if you're not too busy with the kids and your responsibilities! Kate doesn't have time to play silly baby name games or whatever, come on. It's very rude. And Kate actually shows a lot of restraint not to snap at them that she's busy, she has eight kids for heaven sake, and to leave her alone. She used to be on twitter a lot but now she usually just pops in from time to time. Rarely has she been hanging out there all day like she used to.

I think that's exactly right. It's nothing against anyone who happens to be in reality, it just is what it is. It's the "reality"!
Here's the thing, if you are a reality star you are usually playing one "character." Yourself. It's only natural people get bored with it after awhile and want to see a new character. It's harder to "reinvent" yourself as a reality star because then it seems disingenuous. They are in a catch 22 situation. People get bored with who they are, but since that was supposed to be reality, they can't do much else or it's fake. So yes chef, the shelf life is short, that is an excellent observation.
Actors, like for instance Brad Pitt, play a ghost, a fighter, a cop, a soldier, a troubled cowboy, an outlaw, a baseball manager, a vampire. Every role is different and interesting. But no one would go to see Brad Pitt if it was the Fight Club character over and over and over. As perfect as that movie was, we want to see something different. It's completely possible for an actor to be around for 50 years and people are still interested because each role is new and different. That's just not going to happen with a reality star. It's. Over.

Kate has the right to be worried about the haters.
It also seems that she needs to worry about her fans to such as Milo & Irishfan-(who lives in pa).
If you're Kate, what do you do with somebody like Milo? Seriously. It's obvious she's not going to stop inserting herself into Kate's life, but if Kate responds, then she just encourages her even more. If she ignores her, what will happen? I doubt if Milo would ever turn on her, but one never knows. How do you make someone like that go away?
What Kate needs to realize is that she's back to working an everyday job and trying (with her savings) to make ends meet.

Anyone who really cares about Kate Gosselin and her children would encourage her to seek employment outside of 'showbiz.' Get a job with real hours and benefits. I'm not so sure about that. I think that since Kate is so polarizing, that viewers wanted to see her and her interactions with Jon. It was the whole family dynamics that brought in the ratings. Is Kate going to beat up on Jon? Will Jon let her have it? Without Jon, Kate and the kids couldn't keep the show going, so I doubt if Kate were removed from the scene that the kids alone would have been the draw.

What I find amazing is how a person can post these outlandish things on a public twitter and expect nobody to comment. If commentary is not desired, it's time to keep it private. It seems fairly obvious to the logical mind that
if you put it out there, you are asking for
people to respond to it, even negatively. And if it's truly stupid or scary, then that will be mentioned too. The ball is in Milo's court.

Fair question about Milo (and the fans). I look at it from a psychological/sociological viewpoint. Obviously it is not the societal norm for an adult female with teenagers to be obsessed with a divorced mother of eight kids whose fame was over some time ago. There's a name for this fascination -- it's called Celebrity Worship Syndrome, and it is indeed a real mental disorder. Milo appears to be in the final stages of this, where she believes that Kate is a friend and she inserts herself in Kate's life (not long ago she was tweeting that she actually was in Kate's home, watching the children for her). She insists on knowing where Kate is every minute of the day, what she has planned, what she is cooking for dinner, and what men's cologne she prefers. If Kate tweets to another celebrity, Milo is right there behind her. Her tweets have become more increasingly bizarre and intrusive.
What happens when a person such as this is ignored by the object of her worship? CWS is an unhealthy interest in the life of a famous person. Kate is not a "celebrity" who has any special talents. In fact, many such people are just marketing products.
Kate has become the central figure in Milo's life. Is it escapism...what is missing in the lives of these people that they find themselves addicted to the celebrity? Is she such a person who presents with CWS because she doesn't get what she wants out of a real relationship and she's afraid of being rejected? Establishing a connection with someone like Kate makes her feel that she's important -- she sees it as a positive experience. I also wonder why her "real" family allows this to continue without any kind of intervention.
According to an online article, "There is a growing body of evidence that suggests that the human brain is not well equipped to distinguish between real relationships and — as psychologists call them — "parasocial," or imagined ones. That means that some of the benefits people get from pseudo relationships with celebrities may be the same as those reaped from real friendships and real-life interactions."
After the celebrity dissociates himself/herself with her admirer, what happens? Does the fan become passive and move on to another celebrity, or is there some tragic result that ensues when the fan turns aggressive, such as danger to the celebrity, or danger to the fan himself/herself because rejection is the greatest tragedy that could be inflicted on the fan?
This blog ran a thread some time ago about what happens when obsessed fans become dangerous. In the case of Milo (and some of the other sheeple), what happens when they are ignored? Only time will tell. Nobody wishes any harm on Kate, and when it's all said and done, where does this leave Milo (and other fans)?

My kids are very good swimmers. Excellent, in fact. However, they are never in that pool for one second without an adult (who can swim) watching them. I'm usually the pool sitter. Even if I have to run into the house to the bathroom, the kids are out of the pool until I go back outside. Accidents happens in a split second. Kids need to be supervised in a pool. It's only common sense, as well as good parenting.

Yes, and she won't stop. She loves the attention, and the more weird her tweets get, the more she seems to be encouraged to carry on. I think she enjoys being a martyr for Kate. In fact, she's told Kate more than once that even though the "haters" taunt her, she'll always support Kate. She has a kind of a "sticks and stones" thing going on. Milo fawns over pictures of the G8, analyzing every detail and then clamoring for more. When Kate posts an objectionable photo, Milo comes to her defense. She's forever pestering Kate about the G8's whereabouts, always begging for details about whatever it is they're doing. Not because she's interested in the kids, per se, but because she wants to know what Kate's been up to. At least, that's how I read it.
Her tweets lead me to believe she sees the kids as accessories to the Barbie Doll fantasies about Kate that she's created in her own mind. She feigns a closeness that doesn't exist, which is eerie at best. When reality doesn't match the script in her head, she pouts and/or throws little tantrums. Warning signs, impossible to miss.
Speaking solely as a protective mama, I wouldn't want Milo near/talking about my kids, nor do I understand why Kate doesn't see the situation as a potential danger to herself.

This is not the first time we've discussed this topic actually. It's an interesting one and definitely up to debate. Even though twitter is "public" I think there is a big difference between a private person just tweeting away, and a private person having such a direct and constant conversation with a public figure. Surely she knows Kate is public and that people are watching who is talking to her. If Milo were just puttering along on her twitter account about her own self and not interacting so much with Kate that would be a different story. Myself and others here have even said sometimes picking on Milo gets out of hand. But since the bulk of her asinine tweets are to Kate directly, it's hard to argue she's not fair game. She definitely inserts herself, whereas most people here have said over and over they don't tweet Kate directly or otherwise insert themselves whatsoever into the drama. I didn't talk about her much for the longest time until I started to notice what Sherry Baby described and became concerned about her. She's darn funny sometimes too, but she is also very concerning and I don't think it's such a bad idea to keep an eye on her. If it was just Kate I wouldn't care but there are eight kids here too. I can't help being curious where this will end if Kate keeps ignoring her. On the flip side, there is a fan I think Gypsi, who usually doesn't say concerning things to Kate, who seems overall as appropriate as an obsessed fan can get, and usually isn't obnoxious, rude and nosey like Milo is. And as far as I remember she's never bothered us. I think she should be off limits unless she's tweeting directly to Kate. She usually isn't talked about much anyway. She was brought up yesterday but that was because OTHER fans started pestering Kate about Gypsi's baby. But that's just my take.
In regards to everyone here being fair game, a blog admin has every right to moderate their blog. If Milo had a blog, she should be free to do the same. But people can and do discuss what is said here on other blogs and on twitter, and I have never once tried to stop it. You're not forbidden from discussing us, you just might not be able to do so here if I think you're being insulting, picking fights, or violating rule 3 in any other way.
Sort of like how you wouldn't let someone in your home who is just there to trash you, that would be very rude to you and your family and friends to allow such behavior--but you can't stop them from going to someone else's home and trashing you. It's not about trying to say it's not fair game, I happen to think as long as no one is directly contacting Kate that it's really not, but I never once said you shouldn't discuss us. I think people should be able to comment on pop culture free of harassment as long as they are not doing any harassment themselves. But if I did object I could just make this blog private. It's not.

Judgment issues. The bigger point about Milo is that she helps highlight so glaringly where Kate is hopelessly deficient in her judgment issues. Not just talking to Milo in the first place, but the things she lets Milo say and even encourages. She never tells her to stop asking inappropriate questions about Kate and the kids, never. She never tells her to stop slamming Jon. She never tells her to stop being so creepy.
The fact that it took her two long years to finally realize that she shouldn't be tweeting with Milo speaks to her lack of insight. And that is concerning given that she is responsible for eight young, recognizable children at least part of the time, and a topic that is fair game.
Of course does she stop the over the top interactions with all fans, of course not. Instead she's inviting fans she doesn't know from Adam (is that the expression you use?) to come see her this summer. It's nuts. I can't imagine any other celeb doing such a reckless thing. Sure there are things like Kirstie Allen's sleepover contest, but that was all organized and on the up and up.
As a long time poster, I just want to say that personally I wish we would drop the conversations about what people are specifically tweeting on her twitter feed. What Kate tweets is fine but frankly we know her regular fan tweeters are;
A) fanatics
B) not going to change
C) idolize her
D) hate Jon
The tweets are repetitive and frankly it's annoying to see them reposted verbatim here. If I wanted to be a part of her twitter drama I'd go there myself and read what's going on.
I realize without her Twitter drama that frankly there's not many new things to talk about regarding Kate. But I think by reporting their tweets here, you're just encouraging people like Milo and Goody, etc.
Obviously the Admin and her team don't have an issue with it. But as a long time reader here I feel the tweet conversations bring the quality of the blog down and it's not an enjoyable experience for me and I suspect others as well. I think now Kate is opening her eyes to this and she is slowly removing herself from. Milo by not tweeting her or re-tweeting her.
It's been two weeks since Kate tweeted or re-tweet Milo so only time will tell.
I give her credit for distancing herself, finally. It begs the question, did enough people speaking out about how dangerous this could be finally grab her attention? We know she devours anything ever said about her. This is when opening your mouth and saying something when something is off is not necessarily a bad thing.
Totally off topic but I keep forgetting to mention it. 60 Minutes re-ran Sonia Sotomayor's interview last weekend. They interviewed her mom too and were basically asking her what role she played and so on.
Her mom said oh please do not give any credit to me. Sonia is her own person and did this herself. It was a very humble approach to her child. Sonia got the credit for her accomplishments. Sonia's hard work and dedication got her this far. Of course Sonia said, Mom, you don't give yourself enough of the credit. But it just was very nice to see a mom giving her child the credit even though surely she played a huge role.
Oh and Sonia also acknowledged she was bullied and beat up as a kid. Her response, hey more than once I beat them up too! At least she owns it.

IMO, what Kate's fans post on her timeline, reflects on Kate. They can bash Jon all they want, but when they do it on Kate's timeline, with Kate's knowledge, and Kate does nothing to stop it, they ARE fair game for any criticism that may ensue.

I think that the psychological aspect of Milo's Celebrity Worship Syndrome is very interesting. She was all bent out of shape because a family left her without telling her about it and they wouldn't answer their cellphones. That is small potatoes when considering the time and energy that she has invested in Kate -- giving her advice, promoting her website, and so forth. What happens if Kate pulls the plug entirely? Could a "Milo" turn on her? If Kate is perceived as destroying the fantasy world of Milo (as well as other devoted sheep), will they just walk away, or will something more sinister take place?
Again, psychologically, what is the outcome? I wonder if this has ever been studied and documented. We know that fans, when ignored, have become dangerous stalkers and have killed, but these were a few fans. I'm wondering about the statistics and research that has been done on this disorder, and if the results were ever published.

Yes. I never tried to stop other people from discussing us elsewhere even if some people might not like it. And yet I show them the courtesy of rule 4 and not discussing other blogs and bloggers here. I happen to think that if you are minding your own business on your corner of the web, you should be free to do so without harassment. Tweeting a public figure directly is apples and oranges from passively discussing an issue without bothering that person. I'm not sure I'm completely clear where you stand but I think we may have to agree to disagree on that point.
It looks like MsGoody is continuing her hate Jon campaign. She just can't let this go. She is fixated on the size of his 'manhood.'

Considering it was stated on Twitter that Milo was not to be told Kate's show had been cancelled when she was recovering from surgery I'd say being concerned if Kate blows Milo off is concerning.

I think that out of all of Kate's fans, this one ranks right up there with being the biggest hippocrite of them all. She has no idea that while calling out haters as being immature and "low class," that she is doing exactly the same thing when she sits on Kate's timeline and trashes Jon. She just doesn't get it, and I wonder why she can't look at herself and see this. Unbelievable.
Speaking for myself, concerning Milo, I remember that she called into the Nina Frye show and said that the reason that she sticks by Kate is because she is an underdog. I think that her original do-good nature has evolved into an obsession, and yes, that can be dangerous. It is unpredictable as how that can play out--history shows that people commit suicide or murder in these situations. More likely, it may manifest in depression or physical illness or grief. Normal people would just disengage from the situation and then move on. Milo's increasingly desperate tweets could be an indication that, if Kate continues to ignore her, she is approaching a critical state. I wish I could believe that Milo is the well-intentioned good-natured good ol' girl that she tries to portray, but it is pretty obvious that this is not the case.

I don't mind people posting about some of the extreme tweets, because I do think it falls under the category of Kate's sphere. I don't see people going to a lot of trouble, digging into that person's profile, trying to out them. There just ain't much else going on to talk about, if twitter is ruled out. I appreciate the posts because whenever I wander over there, or onto some of the blogs, I always regret it because it is difficult to extricate myself!

If there are people who want to criticize me or the things I say in my posts, they have two main options:
1. Post their criticisms here, but they will need to follow the rules of the blog and do so in a reasoned, civil manner;
2. Post their criticisms elsewhere. For example, they could start their very own blog and post anything they wish, as long as it's not libel.
As to this Milo person - she has invested too much in being part of Kate's life via twitter interaction. It's unhealthy and ultimately sad. In her mind, Kate is her friend. For us viewing this from the outside, we can see clearly that Kate does not have friends - she only has people who are useful to her for a period of time. Milo was useful to her. Apparently (for the time being or perhaps permanently), she's been moved to the "more annoying than useful" list and so Kate is completely ignoring her. It's a pattern we've seen repeated many times.
What's sad is Milo is a grown woman. She should know better than this.

It looks like MsGoody is continuing her hate Jon campaign. She just can't let this go. She is fixated on the size of his 'manhood.'
One just has to wonder why Kate allows this to continue and why she doesn't put an end to it. Just one tweet to these fans to "knock it off" would take care of it, but she won't do it. Ignoring and distancing herself from them can certainly wean them away from her, but she must know that they will continue to trash the kids' father.

So Kate asked her stop so she wouldn't see the haters bash her, but she won't ask her to stop bashing Jon. IMO, Kate is thoroughly condoning it and enjoying it.
So as a man, or woman for that matter, it's not okay to object to a child support order no matter how outrageous it is, no matter how lavish the other parent's lifestyle is? I can't agree with that. A parent has a right to a fair and reasonable support order that will assist with support of the children in a reasonable, though not necessarily lavish, lifestyle. If the other parent is blowing money and living beyond their means I don't blame a parent for being annoyed. Money not spent on huge support orders can be used to make the kids more comfortable when they ARE with you. If all the money is going to mom there might be nothing left for a simple movie or putt putt on your custody time, and that's not right either.

Exactly. The problem in PA is that there is no child support accountability. Once support payments are set, the parent does not have to show where that money goes or how it is being used. I'd be ticked, too, if I were paying an exorbitant amount of child support and see my ex, who is unemployed, running around to hair and tanning appointments, and flying off to live the lifestyle of a celebrity. I'd darn well want to know that my child support is going to my kids and not to fund trips for the other parent.
What's sad is Milo is a grown woman. She should know better than this.

But she's a grown woman who obviously has some mental issues going on. Problems such as those are no respecter of an age group. A "normal" grown woman should, of course, know better, but when one has such fantasies and delusions that the person actually believes that he/she is a friend of a celebrity and goes off sulking when ignored, then one's age goes out the window. Addiction to the worship of a well-known person goes much further than that. She wouldn't know better because in her mind she doesn't see anything abnormal about what she is doing.

There can be no argument that Ms.Goody is crazy and has some anger management issues. Her continued comments about the genitalia of a stranger speaks volumes about her immaturity as well. More telling are the comments about child support, or lack of same. You have to think she has had issues with that in her own life to seemingly hate men as much as she does. But no matter, it falls to Kate to shut her down. For god's sake, these tweets refer to the father of her children, on a public media forum. Kate is the bigger problem. Someday those kids are going to ask her a lot of questions about her passivity.

When Kate ignores Milo on twitter, I wonder how many DM or e-mails Milo bombards Kate with on a daily basis. I hope Kate didn't give Milo her cell phone number (Milo says they communicate in "other ways"). Can you imagine being pestered like that? It wouldn't surprise me if Kate said that enough is enough.
If Kate has really slacked off on tweeting, then why in the world doesn't she just shut it down? It only serves as a battleground between the sheep and the haters. Why would she want that to go on?

Goody is saying that the kids have inherited his physical characteristics only. I have no idea how she would know if the children take after their father in any other way, such as temperament, intelligence, their likes and dislikes, or any personality traits.

I just read a really good article on Gawker about "The Man Behind the Mask", KYAnonymous, who got involved in the Stubenville rape case. He got in way over his head and caused a lot of grief for innocent people. It dawned on me while I was reading this who is behind Kate's vendetta.......Steve. Kate is too stupid to have found out about @bullyville on her own. Deanna doesn't seem any brighter. It had to be Steve. As far as I know she has no other friends who give a rats ass about her enough to try and help her. All this boils down to is bullies bullying bullies. It's ridiculous for the most part. There are a few instances where these groups have done good but the KG saga is not one of them. Had they done a little research and history on this miserable woman they would know she is the biggest bully of all.

I am wondering why Kate does't put a stop to MsGoody's obsession with Jon's "size" for the sake of her sons. Even Goody agrees that the kids have inherited Jon's physical characteristics. The kids will reach the age where teasing/bullying/peer pressure can be intense, and Goody is handing potential school bullies a perfect tool for bullying the G boys. When one of the G boys is mocked about this (your dad has a tiny penis, and you take after your dad, so you must have a tiny penis, too), it is too late to tell Goody to stop. And once it happens, those scars will be with the boys for life. Why allow that to happen? I guess it's true that Kate hates Jon more than she loves her kids. She'd rather let Goody bash Jon than protect her sons from bullying.

She has been on Twitter for the past 15 hours, with only a three hour break, and as of an hour ago was still obsessing over Jon's penis. My gosh, Kate...put an end to this! This only shows how very crazy your fans are! There is something very, very "off" with this person.
