Judge signs off on Kate's agreement to dismiss the lawsuit in full against Jon with prejudice

It's official. The judge signed the dismissal order on Wednesday. All other parties named in the lawsuit are exempt from this dismissal.

Sorry, TFW, I ain't takin' the bait about your super-secret holiday surprise. I think you're just lacing up your grifting boots for Christmas,
as well as deflecting from the fiasco you yourself started with that lawsuit.
*****
Bait, it is.
"Attention! Attention my overseas fans and State-side fans alike! You're officially on notice that Christmas present grifting season is formally open".
Admin, so true that Kate makes a mess and just walks away leaving everyone else to pick up the pieces.
I can't imagine the psychological and emotional damage and undue strain that Kate has inflicted on her own children with this frivolous lawsuit.
The only guarantee of the children's future and safety is for Kate to get professional psychiatric treatment.
She's very, very far from normal. One thing comes to mind lately, after seeing yet another interview on H&F, that really could be put side by side with interviews from 1,2, even 3 years ago, and nothing has changed. Nothing.
Me? I'd be embarrassed to sit there and say, 4 YEARS LATER, that I did not communicate with my ex, let alone co-parent. I'd make it my life's mission to bury the hatchet and successfully be a united front for 8 children before I would give ONE more interview.
Now that would be a terrific example and lesson for the children to witness, not waving goodbye to her as she flits off to Vegas for a 5-hour event, only to return 9 DAYS LATER...
She's so full of shit that if there weren't 8 children caught in her web of craziness and deceit, it would truly be funny.

Thank you, reader. Our community is so generous and helpful.
Congratulations to Jon. May this bring you some peace of mind and allow you to truly look to your future without strings attached, or albatrosses around your neck.
Congratulations, Shawn Tuma. You are a Godsend to the Gosselin children and their father. For the former, I hope you know what you've done for them. Bless you for using you talent for the good.
Our gifts truly should be shared.

To Robert, I hope we can be having the same discussion about you and your part of this case very soon.
I believe your heart is and always was with the Gosselin children, one in particular.

Shawn Tuma took that complaint and tore it into a million little pieces, Kate's response was to ask for it all to go away. Jon said sure, I'll let you off the hook this time and I won't sue your ass for malicious prosecution but don't you ever bother me again with this nonsense. The sheeple spin that as a win for Kate. I guess they're a little right. Kate got out of the lawsuit before Shawn had her begging for mercy under oath. Win win. They sure scrape the bottom of the barrel looking for an ounce of sunshine.

It just occorred to me that she must have been very worried that Jon might sue her for filing false claims against him. Otherwise, why would she have even thought to have him give up the right to sue her for it? That means she KNEW her lawsuit was nothing but lies, and that she could get in a lot of trouble for filing it. She didn't care at the time of filing, of course, because she never thought Jon could fight back. Now that he did, she knew she needed to cover herself for what she did. How despicable is it to knowingly lie in a lawsuit just to bully another person? We also know that Jon is aware that she knowingly lied. No way in heck is he going to help her go after Hoffman after what she did to him. The sheeple are delusional to even think that.

Kate's made plenty of mistakes and it's good that they'll live on here. Where other blogs have folded, this one remains, woohoo! I think her biggest mistake was aligning herself with BV and the "fans". It's pretty clear all the defective ones fed both of them wrong and misleading information. You'd think they'd learn but it continues.

I also wonder if she was told what would be in the deposition and that did her in. Do any of the legal folks here know if questions are just sprung on a plaintiff or defendant the day of the deposition or do they see some of them in advance?

I can only stand to watch because my favorite DWTS pro, Saint Tony Dovolani of the Ballroom, is highlighted. Watching this, TFMJG lack of awareness and insight is so clear. The DWTS audience did not like you because YOU WERE MEAN TO TONY AND YOU DID NOT WORK HARD ENOUGH TO LEARN THE STEPS!!!!!!!! Plus notice how the editing juxtaposed her conflicting statements that Tony then verbalized. You can't SAY to make it harder, and then refuse to do the harder steps. And on top of that, she has about a much rhythm as poor Kim Kardashian. when she was on DWTS she just had no rhythm at all.
it is so obvious that it is almost like a huge spotlight shining on the court house, with neon blinking lights: TFMJG signed off on this dismissal and agreed to never sure Jon again because her suit was frivolous and baseless and just a huge intimidation tactic. she got off easy!
dear TFMJG, it is not bullying when people express their negative opinions about you. like you threw away a golden opportunity to rehab your image by NOT working hard like Tony told you. I am amazed that his choreography made you look like a halfway decent dancer.

The questions are never revealed before the deposition. Her own attorney would prepare her by going over questions he thinks the other side may ask her. Of course, her attorney can't possibly think of every single question that may be asked

Sheri said... 28

I never watched DWTS so the footage on Mr. Hoffman's blog was an eye opener.

About two minutes into the second video when Tony says "I quit", takes off his mic and walks away, Kate starts to tear up and says, "I don't get it."

It's clear she really doesn't get it and that's her biggest issue.

She berated him, blamed him and insulted him. He's a professional dancer who teaches teachers and instead of owning her own ineptitude and lack of effort she says it's his fault for not understanding how she learns.

Really? It just one more example of Kate's sense of entitlement. No appreciation at all for the opportunity, no awareness of how much actual work people put in to hone their crafts and no sense at all about how difficult she was being.

Why on earth would anyone sign up for DWTS if they weren't willing to put in 100% to learn how to dance?

Oh right...the big fat paycheck for doing nothing but be a pain in the ass.

Oh and I loved how she was so confident in the first video about how "Twist of Kate" was coming out that fall.

She stepped on so many people on her way up the "celebrity" ladder, it's no wonder there's so few people around to keep her from sliding right back down.

The only thing keeping me from laughing my ass off is the sadness I feel for those kids. They didn't ask for any of this and they deserve so much better.

And I totally agree that Jon did the right thing allowing this whole mess to be put to rest by agreeing to the terms of the dismissal.

Kate's fans can put any spin on it they want but Kate filed and Kate lost. The end.

Remember when Jon and kate bought the big house that part of the stipulation in the agreement to buy the house was that the horses were to STAY there on the property. As soon as the ink was dry on the closing, she got rid of them. If I was that dr. he should of sued her for not honoring her contract. I don't know for how long they were suppose to stay. Then she publically and viciously makes accusations that the house had mice droppings and the refrigerator was never cleaned and filthy.

She is sooo stupid. She could of the last several years got a organic garden growing on that back lot that goes unused. This would of more than paid for the kids on their activities and extras after everything was deducted. She had plenty of money, could of had a vegetable stand and hired someone to take everything there and sell them.

She could of went with the kids ever so often and they would of had a blast. Reminds me of my dad. He and my mother sacrificed for years and saved and bought 40 acres of good land and he would only rent it out for soy beans for 900 dollars a year. I begged him in the beginning to plant Black Walnut trees about 30 years ago. The price of black walnuts are unreal. Even organic baby arugula. There were 2 farmers that were in the paper in an article and they said the going price and this was years ago that OBA was going for 50 dollars a pound. They would take it 65 miles to the big 4 star restaurants and sell it. My dad didn't believe it. They used it for a salad and garnish. He would of been much better off financially for his retirement if he would of done it. Some people won't listen, like someone we all know.

When I read Roberts post Garbage Man, I know this is silly, but I thought about Rose on the Golden Girls when she was trying to get Dorothys boyfriend to admit that he had made a pass at Blanche. Remember when she says, my leg, and he says what is wrong with your leg? And she says, you can fix it, Doctor Man! I thought about Garbage Man like Doctor Man! hahahaha

Hope she has not bought a living creature. This is the LAST THING ON EARTH she needs to dole out her frustration on. Another chore for the boys to do, since they are vet tech interns in her vicious animal care system.

Some news items touch me deeply. A Virginia state senator Creigh Deeds, was stabbed on Tuesday morning by his son. Senator Deeds survived, his son committed suicide by shooting himself. Its traffic because the father had tried to get help for his son the evening before. By all accounts the family had tried to help the son for years. Senator Deeds was released from the hospital today, and sent out a tweet : ” I am alive so I must live. Some wounds won't heal.”

Absolutely right. A guard dog waaaay out in the back of the property? Chained up? The breeder shouldn't have let her have Shoka back again. She HATES dogs/animals. Think back to the OCC guys episode? I get so angry every time I think about how that breeder gave her Shoka (or a replacement Shoka), after they initially returned the two dogs. That tells me the breeder is not quite reputable, because the most important thing should be the animal's well being, not whether some plastic screeching harpy wants to have a dog or not.

I know a couple who have had several Australian Shepherds over the years. They are absolutely marvelous dogs. Each time they adopt one, they have to jump through hoops with the breeder. The breeder wants to be 100% sure that the dog will go to a good home, with a responsible owner who understands the breed and will take good care of the dog. I'm sorry Kate found a breeder who put money before responsibility.

It is a tragedy. Mental health care is such a double edged sword. I understand the reasons for de-institutionalization in the 1960's but now so many people who need help don't get it. We are protecting civil liberties, yes, but at the expense of health and safety.

I don't know what the right answer would be but I do know something needs to change.

lukebandit said... 65

In the video on DWTS, kate and Tony are practicing, kate was in front of him and she turned around and slung her arm and bashed him in the face hard? He quickly turned around and walked off. I know it hurt. She had a smile on her face the whole time and acted like it was all in fun. I believe that she did it on purpose. She gets the littlest stress and she has to strike out.

I felt so bad for Tony when he is sitting there with his arms on his knees and swaying back and forth mumbling about the quitting situation. I know the way it was edited, it looked like Tony was gone for a short time. They said it was hours. The producers must of had a hard time convincing him to continue. And you know it was not for more money. He couldn't take her insanity. I hope they generously compensated him for the horrendous behavior of twisted kate.

She looked fat in those dance videos 3 years ago compared to today. She has lost a tremendous amount of weight. You can tell it in the H & F picture with Mark and Christina.

I am going to try to go back and watch the segments again and really pay attention to the responses of the hosts. I remember that Christina said about fighting and kate ignored her and kept talking.

She's not really serious, is she? I mean if you are this darn stupid, you don't tweet something like this and show your ignorance. Sure, Jon caved. He caved so much that he dismissed the lawsuit that was filed against him. He had the legal right to do this, don't you know?
Any defendant in a lawsuit just says, "Hey, I don't like this suit, so I'm just dismissing it. See ya later."

Good gawd.

In the video on DWTS, kate and Tony are practicing, kate was in front of him and she turned around and slung her arm and bashed him in the face hard? He quickly turned around and walked off. I know it hurt. She had a smile on her face the whole time and acted like it was all in fun.
*****
Wow, I hadn't noticed that before but I agree that Kate whacked him on purpose.
If you strike someone, especially in the face, you stop, gasp and say "OMG, are you ok? I'm so sorry" and then hope the other person is ok and in a forgiving mood.
What Kate did was what a silly teen would do. She laughed hysterically as soon as she struck his face, and that's not a normal reaction to hitting someone by accident.
Listening to poor, poor Kate, decrying that no matter what she did, her performance would get picked apart, even if she danced like a Pussycat Doll.
How delusional.
Look at Bill Engval. That man is not a stellar dancer, although he's improved, yet he's in the finals!
Could it be he's obviously working really hard and having a good time? Could it be that he's relating to the audience and has a wonderful fan base? Could it be that his phenomenal success has come as a result of his own hard work, and his alone, with no children involved? Could it be that he doesn't act entitled?
Could be, Kate, could be.
But, nah, let's just all feel sorry for you and while we're at it, Katie, dear, why don't you just throw in the towel because no one will praise your shitty clomping anyways.
Check.

Inspired by the legal documents we've gotten to see (a/k/a "Sometimes No Really Means No"), I feel compelled for accuracy's sake to point out that TFW's age has been incorrectly stated here a few times as 37, and even 36. But let the record show (thank you, Clair Huxtable!) that she was born in March of 1975, which makes her 38 2/3. So attention gift card shoppers: she's only 16 months away from her 40th birthday. You're welcome, TFW!

The funny thing to me about that DWTS clip is that she probably hasn't been touched by a man since that time. The only men who touch her are paid. Any other male would have to use a 10 foot pole in one hand while protecting his family jewels with the other.

I had a very hard time listening to TFW's voice in those clips and her looks, hoo boy, so nasty. You can really see how everyone else is carrying her through the conversations and well, Tony, literally carrying her through the dance. The part where one of the judges said she just "walked" not danced. It was so true. Ha! I had to laugh when she went up on the lift and one of the hosts said something about"...sing Don't Cry For Me Argentina - not that she'd know the reference. What a hot mess.

______

I just posted a great response ... but got a frowny face when I hit the post button! ... so if this is a double response, I'll just hit my high points :-)

Kate didn't think of that ... her lawyers did. She's not smart enough to realize they could all be counter-sued for such an outlandish claim with absolutely no proof.

If I can't have Katie deposed ... I at least want her and her 'lawyers' called to the carpet by this judge! I can only hope he's waiting for them to ask that the suit against Robert Hoffman be dismissed before he calls them all out ...

This whole dropping the suit against Jon debacle has made me realize just how invested Kate's sheep are in her ... whatever ... life/stardom/existence??? I can still see some comedy in it, but I now mostly just feel sad for people like that.

I hope Shawn Tuma has passed Jon's name along to some really good family lawyers. I'm sure he's seen enough to realize that Kate isn't well and those kids need a new environment until she is ...

In this is exactly what we were saying. This dysfunctional parenting technique is creating tension and discord among the siblings. They're screaming at each other. How awful that their relationships are being sabotaged by this witch. Chores should be collaborative, not something where you're constantly competing against each other and getting all worked up and stressed out.

Oh and by the way, if the children are stuck choring on a Friday night after a long week of school, then Kate needs to chore too. It's unfair for her to get to do all the fun stuff, Christmas shopping and eating candy and reading accolades, while the kids slave away.

A final point, true friends would not be building her up right now. True friends would say honey we need to talk, and be having a heart to heart with her over lunch or longer over what exactly she's doing with herself.

Sheeple! This is your call to action! Time to break out those credit cards and spend on the Gs! Kate has declared Gosselin Christmas gift-getting season open, and you are expected to shower her and the kids with presents. She isn't about to spend her own money on the kids (she needs that for her lawyer. And botox), so she's giving you an early warning so you can get started. Cash and gift cards only, please! In fact, don't even include a Christmas card. She doesn't want to have to go to the trouble of throwing them in the trash. Just put the loot in an envelope and get it in the mail, pronto! Do not put your return address on the envelope. She doesn't care who you are, and she's not going to send you anything. And don't expect any acknowledgement, either. She will send out one thank-you tweet, and that's going to have to suffice for all of you. Remember, you get what you get and you don't get upset. Now, shut up and spend.

She comes up with these wild stories, insults anyone who doesn't follow her moronic ramblings, and then drops it all and pretends it's all the work of haters when her speculations don't come true.

Rest assured, Ziggy, Jon will not be testifying against Robert. You heard it from me, and I promise that if it does happen, I will lick the soles of my shoes. Which is disgusting, but I'm that sure that Jon will not testify. Never in a million years. TFW is on her own, and she won't have any say in what questions she has to answer on the witness stand. I definitely think Robert's lawyer will go point-by-point through every page of the book, make her admit to everything (or come up with actual proof that it's not true), and every admission will be all over the news. Once she's in the witness stand, she is not the one in control.

Most well-mannered kids don't scream after about age 4, tops.

Why are your kids so tense on a Friday evening that they're screaming at each other?

Why are they working so hard?

Why aren't YOU doing the essential chores and letting the kids watch a fun kids' movie with popcorn (and sprawled all over the family room and not sitting on a line?)

I don't know about anyone else but Friday nights, tonight, is usually one of the best times of the week. Everyone is in a good mood looking forward to the weekend fun. You feel good after another long week. It's fun to just let out your breath from the week and look forward to two days of rest/fun/no work/church/catching up/ things other than work and school.

I just feel so bad for them that even a nice Friday night is so TENSE. How awful. You know what, they have a right to a Friday night free of such tension and stress. A right. Kate finds their screaming funny and cute. I find it tragic.

Mel, that was my thought during the season TFMJG was on DWTS. My speculation was that she wad ride to the hair, make up, and costuming folks so they did an ok job, but not great. Another speculation from another poster was that TFMJG was just not available in a timely manner for fittings or to discuss her look with hair and make up folks. Another thought is that rat claws was acting as personal style consultant. That would explain a lot. Anyway, every single outfit she had was... Ok...but something just wasn't put together as well as it could have been.
I remember seeing some tabloid report, maybe TMZ? That after the live show most of the cast would go out to dinner together. It was noted that TFMJG did not participate in that ritual, and also that she did not speak directly to the backstage folks, they had to talk to the booby guard to communicate with her. Like I said, tabloid reporting. But knowing what we do from reports on set, her behavior on her show, I can definitely see her doing this.
The vast majority of celebs who dance ALWAYS thank the crew, the band, the singers, the backstage folks at some point. Leah Remini, when she got voted off last week, gave a special thank you to the crew. Many of the celebs say it is the BEST crew they have ever worked with.
It would be just like TFMJG to completely disrespect and ignore three highly trained and experienced professionals who work behind the scenes. Who do you think gave her such awful lighting and camera angles on that finale dance? And Tom and Tony were probably not in on the joke, I will bet it was a surprise to them, they were laughing so hard.

Remember how Kate had to bash Jon for saying the things about the kids on OWN recently.

Well, Kate said on tape the following: "Mady is very controlling, manipulative, has trouble telling the truth, bossy, and trouble minding authority. Mady has gotten away with a lot of serious offenses and called it an accident. And after an interview with Mady, Jon said "I was pretty sure they were going to tell me that Mady needed some major intervention."

And she has the gall to write a blog coming against Jon for saying the things he said about the kids. Appalling that a mother could talk about her own child like that on national TV.

I went to youtube to watch Kate on DWTS and saw this clip.

I'm not sure that she has turned around.

Bossy behavior works for her because TFW isn't the mom in that house, Mady is. TFW is too busy tweeting or not there at all. Somebody has to be the leader.
Somebody has to parent TFW; Steve when he's there or else Mady.

I don't really want to discuss the kids too specifically, but in a lot of ways I feel for Mady the most. She's totally had her childhood stolen from her. Partly due to her personality, partly due to her having to fill the leadership void.

I also found an Inside Edition clip from May 2012, where the interviewer asks her, "But he is paying child support?" Kate answers, " Everything has been worked out behind the scenes. So I think it is a good change. It is a good move and it is good." Does this sound like Kate is in the least upset about Jon not paying child support. Of course not. She sounds very please indeed.

Also she was on the Today show that morning (along with other interviews) and Ann said that there has been a new development where there is now peace with Jon. And in this interview Kate stated within seconds of the interview starting how the kids want to film again and really stressed the point.

I think Kate made the rounds that May 2012, because she probably heard (or maybe she felt) from some producers that perhaps Jon would be against filming again. And perhaps that was one of the reasons a producer would not take her and the 8 on. Kate purposely said in all her interviews that day that she and Jon were now at peace, the kids were doing great in school, and all the kids were very eager to film again. Too bad Kate, that no producer took you on.

I know legally they cannot do a trade off but I think it was an agreement between them that she would stop the child support if he didn't stop the filming of the kids if the chance arose.

In May 2012, she was at peace with Jon and then she filed a lawsuit not to long after that. Wow, what a bitch.

Marie said... 121

She was insanely tweeting last night because she has no real friends or family to talk to on a Friday night. Steve was probably out with his wife. She needs help. She has an is due with connecting with people and having normal relationships. I really think that when she says "my kids really miss the crew" that she is really talking about herself. They were like her friends and family, but obviously the feeling was not mutual because they didn't stay in touch after the show. This is also why after she meets a new celebrity on a talk show that she immediately becomes their BFF on Twitter. I really think she struggles with this.

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

In this economy -- especially if it is a foreclosure or short sale -- it is not unusual for people who are selling their horse property to request (desperately HOPE) that the new buyers will allow the sellers to leave their livestock (especially if it is older livestock). This is because the sellers can't afford to keep them anymore and/or can't find a them a new home, and the thought to just sell them at auction where they might wind up as dog food just breaks their heart.

Now in the Gosselin case, I can't imagine that the doctor did not have the funds to board out these horses if Jon & Kate did not want them after escrow. Also, I don't think the doctor would have left horses that were high strung and/or not safe to be around small children.

What I have always wondered after hearing that horses were left behind by the sellers -- did Jon and Kate just sell them at an auction and pocket the money with no thought or guilt as to where the horses might end up?

I've said this as well. I think that is what happened. They can go to a modification conference and agree on any amount down to zero. However, unlike what her attorney said, it's not "forever". She could take him back at any time and force a child support amount.

As the years go on, TFW will continue to remind the kids about how their father destroyed their career reality tv and how she could have put their father in jail but how she didn't want that for him because he is their father. When Kate was on Hallmark she explained that each child had a turn to be Inspector Gadget. I'm assuming it's a different IG every day or maybe they change once a week? I don't remember her saying how often they changed.

But it doesn't sound like it's creating any harmony in the household if Kate feels the need to scream when there's a "chore completion descrepancy."

I can't imagine there being worse stuff in that journal. Those poor children.............

I know we've talked about this before, but on some levels I still feel that even though it's probably healthy validation for the kids to see (perhaps later) that others thought it was terrible what they had to go through, and that some people *did* try to help them, that yet...on some levels it's an invasion of their privacy.

Some of the kids might feel validated, others might be beyond humiliated. Especially as the kids that they are right now. Later they might see it as validation, but for now....

What else is weird about this is that the twins are old enough to remember that stuff. But the sextuplets aren't. Why bring it to the forefront for them? Rub their noses in it, so to speak.

On the other hand, I don't think the behavior has gone away, it's just evolved to not as physical. But meaner. And not mean across the board, either. Which makes it even worse.

I really struggle with what is the right approach. Robert knows the family, and has probably struggled a lot with what to do, as any *normal* human being would. Guess we'll have to trust his judgment on this one.

Those poor kids....that's what this blog is all about. Those poor kids.

I did realize the horses were left. I am sure they were sold and Jon and Kate pocketed the money. The doc should have sold them when he put the house on the market. I've known people just to have horses as show pets, in other words, it looks cool to have horses grazing on your property. I had a neighbor who did this. They never rode their two horses but had a nice barn.
******************************************************************
I don't remember horses being part of the sale. Just in general though, the Lancaster, PA area is notorius for it's horse auctions where most of the horses are sold for slaughter. There was a case last year of a young PA woman buying horses from people who could no longer keep them and promising they were going to be pets or therapy animals. She was actually taking them to the horse auction.

Please read this heartwarming story from last Christmas which tells about one of these beautiful creatures getting a second chance at life, totally by odds breaking circumstances. Get yer tissues ready!

Oh, my, Goody actually admitted what we have thought for a very long time--she does not care whether the kids were abused. We have suspected all along that the sheeple really don't care about the well-being of the kids. The kids are just an extension of TFW to the sheeple, the kids are nothing more than TFW's property, and her fans are okay with whatever TFW does to them. If TFW wants to beat them, it's okay with them. If TFW wants to verbally and mentally abuse them, it's okay. All that matters is TFW. It's just shocking to actually see one of them put it into words--"I don't care". TFW's fans are vicious, spiteful people who condone anything that makes TFW happy. Including the beating of small children. That is just tragic.

My two cents said... 152

I think that the physical abuse has evolved to more emotional. We've seen it. In NY she to,d one of them that she'd leave her with strangers. In Alaska she told them if they chose to stay they wouldn't be Gosselins any more. I'm sure that they also hear "Go live with your dad if you want to but don't expect to come crawling back to me when your brothers and sisters have nice things and you don't". That is the way she works. I'm sure she's already working her magic with the twins because at that age girls (and boys) can be very materialistic. They want what their friends have. TFW can give it to them and Jon can't. She's raised those kids to feel very entitled because for her it's all about having it bigger and better than everyone else. The thing that is really killing her is the fact that she's not a media darling any more. She craves the fame but fame is fleeting. The kids aren't cute toddlers any more and no one wants to watch kids heir age screaming and hitting each other. A least I don't.

It appears that Kate is planning to go full speed ahead with her suit against Robert, and he is trying to give her very fair warning about what will be coming out through discovery. He has the goods and they are legit, we know this. He says he has much, much worse on her and I fully believe that, too.

IMO, what he is trying to say to her is ok, let's get it on but I will not hold back and I will be leaking to ROL, just like they are in the Tom Cruise case. Kate has met her match. She could drop this suit and still stagger on in her limited z- list status. Instead, she's choosing to gamble everything for the sake of getting revenge on Robert. These are not the actions of a mother who puts her kids first. A mother who puts her kids first will actually put them first. Not make her own deluded, narcissistic, stubborn pride and thirst for revenge paramount.

Seriously, who talks like that, to kids or adults? Her very odd use of the English language never fails to bemuse me. And of course this whole Inspector Gadget thing only serves to illustrate how she fixates on the wrong parts of raising children. Nothing about nurturing, only about organizing the work. For a woman who stays home alone for a full week of work hours, and has help, those kids sure have a lot of chores.

Layla said... 156

Robert included some TFW fans' tweets in the book, and I hope that when it is re-released, he includes the new one from Ms Goody. There it is, in black and white, from one of TFW's most rabid supporters--"I DON"T CARE if it's true" the kids were abused. If anyone wonders what the fan/non-fan wars are about, if anyone doesn't understand where the sheeple are coming from, there is now a direct admission. The sheeple do not care if the kids were abused.

__________________________________

It is a greyish area. Kate kept spouting that she relieved Jon of child support. You are right, in PA she can't just arbitrarily do this.

What it *appears* to have happened is that Kate agreed to formally and legally allow Jon to have more custody time. Before that... it looks like while Jon's custody time on paper was every other weekend- and he paid child support to reflect this- he was having the kids more than that. Like when Kate traveled. It was enough custody time to cause problems with him keeping a 9-5 job.

Speculating here... it looks like Kate and Jon or Kate and Jon's lawyers worked out a deal to legally adjust Jon's custody time to the amount of time he was actually having them anyway, thus making it unecessary for him to pay monthly support. In exchange for this, some think Jon may have then agreed to some limiting filming of the kids i.e. CWS. This was possibly the behind the scenes deal. The only part the judge needed to know to follow the law, was to see that both parties agreed to an increased custody time adjustment for Jon, and that Jon's new percentage of time now relived him of a monthly support obligation. Again, just specualtion.

I think the custody time and child support change is debated as much as the misunderstanding about the TAP funds the Lt. Gov opened for the kids back in 2005! (The funds were just opened- not funded!)

(((((((((

How many times do I have to say that I have child support in PA and I have been through the system for 15 years? Yes, a judge orders child support. It can then be modified as situations change, from a new job, more children, less daycare, etc. You submit a petition for modification and it goes to a conference. The officer plugs in the numbers and out comes the amount to be paid. HOWEVER as our officer told us when my ex was unemployed, we can agree to any amount we wanted as long as we both agreed, down to ZERO. I agreed to less than the number indicated. If we don't agree, and one time we didn't, the number stands but the grieved party can appeal (mine did). It then goes to a hearing and a Master decides. (I won). I know what I am talking about.

TFW could very well have said if you agree to let them film, I will agree at a conference to zero child support or very little.

And really, Jon paying when he has the kids is not equal. Even if you take away the luxuries TFW pays for. I get child support but it doesn't begin to cover the soccer fees, swim lessons, school supplies, field trips, birthday presents for friends, etc etc I have paid over the years. Some ex's will willingly split those costs. Mine said "that's what I pay you child support for."

Anonymous said... 159

(Leslie)
I also found an Inside Edition clip from May 2012, where the interviewer asks her, "But he is paying child support?" Kate answers, " Everything has been worked out behind the scenes. So I think it is a good change. It is a good move and it is good."
________
How can the sheeple call Jon a deadbeat Dad when Kate said the above. It doesn't sound like she thinks he is a deadbeat Dad. Kate said three times that what they worked out behind the scenes was "good". Kate seemed very pleased with it all. And don't forget that part of Jon's divorce settlement was put aside to where he did not have access to it so he could pay $22,000 a month. I wonder in total how many of those payments of $22,000 did Jon make. That is probably one of the reasons he is broke today. The other reasons are he stupidly spent his money on an expensive New York apt. and fancy cars.

I debated whether to write this post. I am going to be as generic as possible to protect children. Robert stated in his book that all of that information was only about 5% of the information he has. He said the rest will never see the light of day, unless he is pushed and forced to defend himself, as in a court of law. Now, here are some puzzle pieces that I put together and something that I believed true from when I first watched the show in 2008!
The school expulsion. Robert stated that in 2012, he obtained information regarding the expulsion that was far worse than he could put into words. A certain child was removed from school due to interaction or "lack of interaction" with adults. Kate stated in 2011, on the Today show, that they were dealing with "very real medical issues", when asked about how the kids were faring post expulsion.
Robert made it clear in his book that he could not say why the child/ren were expelled, because he gave his word he would not say anything. That could only be a promise to Jon. Robert dedicated his book specifically to one child only. My personal opinion is a diagnosis on the spectrum of autism. Again, only an opinion, no facts, just guesses from all facts I've studied. If there is any truth to that, there may be some reasons as to why Robert is so desperate to out Kate's truths for the betterment and emotional well being off ALL children and for treatment for Kate as well.

Gosh, the first thing that comes to my mind is the Schutzstaffel. "You vill do as ve say of you vill be severely punished. Do you verstehen?".

This inspector thing reminds of the episode where she was looking for a housekeeper then after the girl was finished, she went around behind her and bitched about the places she missed. Well if it was so dirty that means Kate wasn't much of a housekeeper herself.

Now she's got the kids doing the white glove inspection? She's sick in the head. If her plan is to pit them against each other it sounds like it's working. That way they won't all turn against her at once.

And just what has she got left to do in that house as far as work is concerned? Cook? Big deal. She has a cleaning staff of eight and two dishwashers.

She's a lazy assed dictator not a mother.

Sadly, we do here. In fact, I am almost ashamed to admit it, but when I went to the store, got to the register and couldn't find my bonus card, i told the clerk that I was totally discombobulated today.

Kate, however, used it in the wrong context. It means confused. She used the word in referring to a spider. I think she probably meant mutated or not put together well.

"Isn't there a grandparent event coming up at their school? I wonder if any grandparents will come?"

&&&&&&&

Yes, but not all kids have grandparents, and if they do, not all live close enough to attend. In that case, there are grandparent subs who are with the kids. No student is alone or has no one. It certainly would be nice, though, if the children had bonded with their "real" grandparents so that a substitute wouldn't be necessary.

I wanted to make one other comment about a tweet someone posted here about advice Kate to a young mother with a 19 month old having temper tantrums and advice. Kate told her to ignore her and leave her on the floor and ignore her.

This is yet again the WRONG advice to give a young mother. If the child was 3,4 or 5 years old, that may be correct. Older children are more likely throwing that tantrum because they want something they can't have and think that by throwing the tantrum, mom will give in to their wants and desires, in sheer desperation to end the tantrum. This solves nothing and the child has learned that by throwing a tantrum, they get what they want, when they want it. Ignoring the behavior, because the child is looking to get attention and " a rise" out of mom or dad is appropriate, when the child is in a safe place.

However, the key here is the fact that this child is ONLY 19 months old. 19 month old don't have the mental capacity to intentionally annoy mom, although Kate thinks they do if you read her journals. How she graduated nursing school astounds me. In this case, developmentally a 19 month old doesn't have the verbal ability to express their emotions. Their vocabulary is not advanced enough. So they get easily frustrated. Thus, the tantrums...??terrible twos?? Ignoring this child is not going to help settle the child. Calmly speaking to the child using age apprpriate words in order to understand the frustration.

I cringe when Kate gives parenting, developmental or medical advice. She is usually 100% wrong. In this this, her actions would do more harm than good. Nice Kate..
