Just thought I'd pop in to say that I saw a clip of Jon on CT. Do any of you think it is interesting that Jon would say he has written a book but is "afraid" to publish it? Since when can a person in this country not publish a book about themselves? And the same goes for Kate. She bellows about being an author, so where's the book account of the TLC years? Is she afraid of putting her lies in writing and getting caught? Has she or her attorneys threatened Jon if he ever publishes a book? Sounds like someone is desperate to hide something and will steamroll over anyone who dares to contradict "the image" of super mom of eight. Come to think of it, I don't think she can ever publish a book about those years because it would have to be a pack of lies and she would certainly be called out on it; or, she is so narcissistic that it will be obvious to the reader, like her in her journal, just what kind of person she is.
Other than that tidbit I heard Jon say, between all the cursing, I don't think he did himself any favors with public opinion appearing on CT. Liz with the hoody pulled over her head was bizarre too. I hope the payout was worth it. Then again, Kate has done some humiliating things too, so I guess when it comes to TV, some people just don't give a darn as long as they bring home a fat paycheck.
I think Jeremy...144 and Call Me Crazy...164 have given excellent advice. I am a grandmother of two and I'm lucky I've had no issue with the other grandmother. She lives in the same town as my daughter and sil and I live in the next town over. However, my sil has a serious love/hate relationship with his mother and my daughter has a serious tolerate/hate relationship with her mil. My daughter has told my sil and his mom that the both of them need therapy but it's gotten nowhere. She has informed her mil that if she can't hold her tongue she is no longer welcome in their home. The problem with my daughter's mil is that she has no filter, has no conception of boundaries and doesn't give a hoot about someones personal space. My grandson loves his Nan (paternal grandmother) but the last time she was there and an argument ensued, my poor grandson stood there in tears with his hands over his ears. That was the final straw for my daughter and she threw her mil out. I don't think things will change between my sil and his mother until they do get therapy and I don't see that happening anytime soon.
Sorry ex nurse, I digressed there. From your comment @ 178 it sounds like someone stood up to your dil's parents so things may work out. Until then, be there for your son when he wants to vent and enjoy your time with your grandson. It goes by way to fast. I am curious if this is the first grandchild on either side of the family?
On a happier note, by oldest daughter just called and she got engaged tonight! WOO! HOO! She's been with this guy for almost 2 1/2 years and they've been talking about getting married so we knew it was coming but we didn't know when. He's an incredible guy and we love him and are beyond thrilled. She just emailed us a picture of her ring. A beautiful single solitaire that suits her to a tee. Simple but beautiful just like her. Everyone have a rumspringa on me.
Regarding the chairs, I would have liked to have something like that instead of a booster seat. However, those kids were in those chairs way too long. She probably like them because it made it harder for the kids to scoot out and they were forced to sit at the table until they finished all their portioned out food in the plastic divided plates.
I do find it easier to control weight gain if food is portioned so I am thinking this is why she does it, but it would be interesting to know if the kids are ever allowed seconds. I know there is an epidemic of obese kids in this country, but from what Kate claims, her kids eat healthy so why is she still portioning out their food? Control. Yes. Afraid of having a chubby child who is not marketable. Yes.
Truth Teller @Truth_Teller201 6m @SandyMalone_ @LilyatIW @Kateplusmy8 Excellent article Sandy!
Is this the same Sandy who had the TLC show where she did weddings on an island? That woman was so annoying, rude and obnoxious, with a potty mouth and no class whatsoever. I remember watching the show and thinking...where did they find that person and why?
West Coast folks, is Oscar coverage live for you? Ellen is going thru her joking intro. On to more Ernest Hemingway . Once again, according to our tour guide. When Ernest and Pauline moved to Key West, they were interested in building a swimming pool. Since the island us on a limestone base, it would require excavation that would be very expensive. So instead Ernest built a boxing ring in the backyard. Well, years later, when Ernest was in Europe and Pauline got suspicious he was fooling around with Martha Gellhorn in Europe, she decided what to do!. She spent $2000, a fortune at the time, and replaced the boxing ring with the first swimming pool built in Key West!

Ex Nurse, congratulations! I feel for you. We had an end-of-life situation similar to what you are describing. Our granny was doing the rapid downhill slide for weeks and we all signed up to stay with her in the hospital, each day, so she wouldn't be alone. We drove 30 miles (you would know the town) each day and EVERY SINGLE day, my husband's sister came on our 6-hour shift, even though she had a 2-hour shift in the morning. It irked me to no end. I just wanted to tell her to GET OUT. She'd be yapping on her phone (after telling us cell phones were not allowed), giving the nurses orders, etc. She had declared herself in charge and was going to assert herself no matter what. She even told the nurse, after a hip replacement, to be sure to let her know when physical therapy was each day, so she could be there. What and WHY? By that time, I wanted to scream and/or throttle her. WE wanted quality time with grandma alone before she died, and didn't need her taking over our time. If we said anything, no matter how gently, she'd fly into histrionics and run out of the room crying. If we ignored her and bit our tongues, she'd go crying to her mom about how we didn't respect her. To keep the peace, my in-laws told us we didn't need to come anymore. They didn't even tell us when they went over to say good-bye, just called the next day to say she was dead. It was very hurtful and all so unnecessary. But the old squeaky wheel thing really came into play....
I tell you all this to point out you have a very fine line to walk. If your son sticks up for himself, or you (and rightfully so), you risk being alienated yourself because it would be the easiest thing to do - remove the complainant from the situation. If you say nothing, it could get worse as they stake bigger and bigger claims. (Best case, they'll back off on their own and get back to their own routines.) This other grandma insinuating herself into YOUR family wedding is absurd though. I wish you all the best and hope it works out for you with a resolution that is agreeable to all. You have your time, they have their time, the parents have alone time to figure out their new roles, and everyone gets together time too. That would be ideal. Fingers crossed that it happens peacefully for you all! The baby needs ALL of you - just not all at the same time all the time!
Yep, TFW stays true to form with the twins, even at a concert. What fun they must be having. NOT

Kate hasn't tweeted in several days, but please don't tell me she's dragged the twins out again. Watching the Oscars- the presenters are having issues- is there vaseline smeared on the prompters? Kim Novak's face- there are no words...
Primariemary, My heart dropped into my stomach when I read how depressed you've been but I'm so cheered and encouraged that you're reporting that you feel better! I don't have S.A.D. but I have a couple of friends who do and it IS real and they absolutely have suffered with it. The lights (idk which they use) have worked miracles for them. They use them religiously from the first signs of fall until they can be active outdoors again in the spring. Sending positive thoughts your way that each day you're feeling more encouraged and positive and that you'll soon be putting this long winter behind you. (((((HUGS)))))
If a newborn is in the hospital nursery, and as the baby's grandparents, you have a pass into the maternity department, can't you see the baby? Why would a relative have to wait a day or so to see a baby?
No, it was one of those secure maternity wards and no one got in without the permission of the parents. As it should be. No problem with that.
We respected the boundary that our son set...his wife didn't want us to visit them for a few days. Only her parents and sister were allowed to visit at the hospital. Very disappointing. I cried for days.
But she's like that. I've talked about it before. She's pretty much a TFW clone. If she can manage things in such a way as to hurt your feelings, she's all over it. Like TFW, I think she gets her jollies from being mean.

I saw this, and that DL has a concert tonight in DC. I thought there was maybe a store called Merch but it wasn't capitalized...perhaps they meant the spot they were selling merchandise at the concert. She wanted 1D tx but said it may not be an issue. Bet someone gave them DL tx instead. Didn't C say she did not like 1D but liked Demi Lovato?
Wonder what she was bitching the girls out about...also, looks like the girls have school tomorrow.
Demi Lovato is giving a concert in Fairfax, VA tonight, as part of her Neon Lights tour.
Guess it's within the realm of possibilities that TFW/twins are there. Wonder if this is instead of those other concert tickets she was trying to grift at Christmas time.
When we were small we had one grandmother that would give us each a dollar and the other one gave us cookies. Guess who the favorite was!
----------
When I was very young, my grandfather, who didn't bake cookies, gave me a dollar every week. If I didn't see him for a week, he'd put a dollar in the mail and send it to me. He always wrote my name on it, and signed it, "Love, Pop Pop." :Long after he passed away, when I was an adult, I came across a box containing items my mother had put away for me -- memorabilia, things from school, etc. There was an envelope with my name on it. I opened it, and she had written a note, "Don't ever spend this." It was a dollar bill from my grandfather. Oh, the tears, as I remembered him and how much I loved him.
Merch tables are where you buy t-shirts and other memorabilia at a concert. The tweeter sounds like a promoter who works the booth that sells that stuff.
I tried to post this earlier but I think it was lost in cyberspace:
I guess TFW has taken the twins to a Demi Lovato/Fifth Harmony concert in Fairfax, Va tonite - per these random tweets. A 3+ hour drive from home on a wintery Sunday nite. I hope they have hotel reservations!
@derpauregui Kate Gosselin was here with her daughters am done of them bumped into me. I just met another celebrity guys lmao 6:56 PM - 2 Mar 2014

I wonder what she was bitching them out about? They wanted all sorts of stuff and she said no? She'll pay the price for indulging them all those years at some point.
Fired Up 4 Kate @MiloandJack 7m Would this be YOU @Kateplusmy8 lately? >> pic.twitter.com/evYkDNhube We all hope you are okay! :) Miss you....
Well, darn it, Milo. I thought you knew where Kate was every minute or every day. Doesn't she communicate with you? What's wrong? Did she forget to tell you her plans for the weekend?
My daughter would have died of embarrassment to have me with her at a concert when she was 13. Just saying. Don't they have school tomorrow? Guess that's why the 1D TX were no longer an issue.
TLC stinks was mentioning (#198 last page) Kate doing portion control on the kids so they don't get fat. That bothered me more about the movie tweet than the Shirley Temple biopic. She didn't say we're having Ben & Jerry's. She said we're having Ben & Jerry's frozen yogurt single serve. Kids that age with regular exercise can eat regular ice cream. They don't have to eat frozen yogurt or whatever fat-free thing. Plus the portions are all exactly the same, just like their activities. Normal parents will alter sizes. Alexis is still full from dinner but Aiden is pretty hungry. So maybe they shouldn't all have the same size. By this age the kids should be able to handle that. And a loving mother could handle any complaints without having to go ballistic. Sigh. Their lives are so strange. Can I hope it was a treat to get them all a favorite flavor? No because taking all to the store to choose would cause a commotion.

Not according to the school calendar (lthough they might have a snow day with this forecast). And if anything they should have less days off to make up for ll the weather days.
Kate bitching out the twins? No! Say it isn't so! Bad night to be in this neck of the woods though. Do the kids have the day off from school tomorrow?
&&&&&&&&&&&&&
I doubt it. A delay, maybe. National Weather canceled the winter storm warning. When the biggest storm of the season was predicted, we were in the 18 inch band; then 6-10; then 5-8 and it keeps going down (apparently the snow line has shifted south)...a few hours ago it was 1-3, and now it's a coating to an inch.
It wouldn't surprise me if we woke up to a foot or more.
Kate's at a concert in Virginia? Aren't they expecting at least 10 inches of snow tonight/tomorrow? Spring break begins on Friday. I wonder if she forgot about it again.
Those poor girls. She has to yell at them in public. She can't even take them aside away from the merchandise stand to yell. I wonder if she was hoping for a tabloid article about it. She has to ruin their enjoyment of the night. They probably irritate her on purpose because they don't respect her. She has no knowledge of normal discipline so she screams like a banshee.
Sleepless, I should have been more specific.....the grandmother that gave us a dollar did so to get us out of her sight. Your grandfather gave you a dollar out of love. How sweet that your mom saved that dollar and envelope for you. Those are the treasures of our lives that stay in our hearts forever.
Is everyone enjoying the warm Key West night and the starry sky. Everyone looks lovely, and the attentive pool boys came over to help pass around delicious foods. Another Ernest Hemingway house anecdote: Pauline died in 1951, Ernest died in 1961, and after that the sons sold the house to Bernice Dixon a local jewelry store owner. Mrs Dixon moved in. however, it didn't take long for fans of Ernest Hemingway to come asking to look at the house where he lived. She finally gave up being able to live there in peace, and moved into the back guest cottage. She opened the home for tours, and left the estate to her family, who continue to operate it as tourist attraction.
Oh poor Milo, left out of Kate's loop. Sorry sweetie, she forgot to tell you she's out at a concert on grifted tix, in bad weather too - anything for a freebie. Hope Skeevie has snow tires. Guess school is a second thought.
This is why Jon will never be able to compete with Kate for his children's love. He isn't willing to use their money to buy them outrageous concert tickets and merchandise for a school night.
Realitytvkids.com (Administrator) said... 17 This is why Jon will never be able to compete with Kate for his children's love. March 2, 2014 at 7:38 PM ********* Plus, they'd better high tail it out of there, or rather, the limo driver better, because we're in the thick of the storm that's already here. Overnight, the temps are going to drop and we're in for a big snow starting before dawn and continuing into the afternoon. This storm has been coming for days and days.
The DL tickets very well might have been comped because Cara mentioned DL after being served up the question on The View. I've no doubt "who is you fave singer/band" was on the ladies' blue cue cards. Still, it's over the top to take sixth graders to VA for a concert on a Sunday school night. It's pay off for participating in Kate's spin control/let's throw Dad under the bus campaign.
Another anecdote about Ernest Hemingway: the website for the Hemingway house says the pool cost $20,000 in 1938. Not $2000 like I said before, quoted wrong source. Anyway, when Ernest came home and found out how much the pool costs were, he said ” Pauline, you've spent all but my last penny, so you might as well have that!” At that he threw down a penny in disgust. His wife had it mounted there in the pool in cement. According to our wonderful tour guide!
In two days Demi has a concert in Bethlehem, only an hour from Wernersville instead of Fairfax VA which is 2.5 hours away. On March 7 she will be at the Meadowlands (same...2.5 hours)
If they were grifted there's a great opportunity to do what she made her fans do and perform a random act of kindness. Donate them to Make a Wish or auction them off to raise money for THON or give to some other kid deserving of it.
These twins have lived a lavish lifestyle since they were preschoolers. They don't need to start coming to expect outrageously expensive concerts on school nights too (plus merchandise).
Ah merch - would that be our Kate having to explain to her teens that mommy was only springing for the grifted tickets, so no, she wasn't buying them any merch. God forbid she opens her wallet, ever. Are the tups babysitting themselves tonight?
I think that Kim Novak looks wonderful...especially considering she is 81. I didn't look nearly that good when I was 51!! Maybe I didn't see the same photo that you did. Can you please link the image you're talking about?

I don't believe they realize that she is using THEIR money to support herself and Jon's children. TCFW has no clue about what will happen when when they finally understand what she has done. Of course, that is in the future, and until Jon can get some sort of control over her/the children she will continue to rain misery onto his head!

I would be surprised if Kate drove to the concert, especially with the forecast of a major winter storm. Either Steve drove them, or she hired a driver service.
How come we never hear in those tweets if Uncle Steve is there? I don't believe for one minute she drove the twins to Fairfax. If Steve isn't there, then she paid for a car to drive them. I'm not that far away, and it's just rain here now, but expecting big winter storm after midnight.
The tickets must have been grifted. There is no way she'd come all this way. What's going to happen in three years when the girls can drive themselves or go with a group to a concert? Will mommie dearest tag along? And was it just her and the twins? No friends? Sometimes moms will pair up and take a group (oh, but not Kate).
Well, I gotta laugh if it's true she was bitching them out in public. Get ready, mommie Kate, it's gonna get a lot worse because those girls have learned from the master.

It seems like the judge immediately picks a side. Often, when it turns out the side they picked is a rage-filled parental alienator, they find themselves having to accept that they were wrong.
&&&
That is so spot on for so many judges. Within 10 minutes of the beginning of the case many decide they know what happened and whose side they are on. For some of them, even if you later hand them all the evidence in the world proving their initial assessment wrong, they don't care. What's just as scary is in jurisdictions that allow children to have attorneys they often will do the same, decide they know how it is and their minds can't be changed. This is not what is serving what's best for the children. If you were proven to be wrong, be a man, or be a woman, and make a different decision. Judges are human and many humans are stubborn and won't admit they are wrong. It really can be an impossible system. I just went to a family law conference and had a great time but that was one of the issues that came up, sharing stories of judges being rude, stubborn, unprofessional, and so on, and how unbelievable it is. One of the attorneys told a story of how she had traveled from her home in Arizona to Los Angeles for her case, only to be told by the judge, who was leaving the bench soon, that she does not care about that case and won't do it today because she'd rather just pass it off on the new judge. The attorney said but I came from Arizona I'm staying in a hotel, I'm doing this pro bono, this case is supposed to be heard today and my client and I would like it to be heard; you may be leaving the bench but you're sitting here today and we're asking you to handle this issue. The judge then kicked her out of the courtroom.
The attorney later won a published appeal on that case, which was a nice vindication.
I agree Kate didn't drive to the concert. Remember, she couldn't even find her way to that local radio station without her policeman friend's assistance.
Close to midnight! Last call for rumspringa! Thanks, I think I will have another shrimp. I am definitely hanging out here another few days! People who suffer depression/anxiety need to stick together because it's such a unique experience that is difficult to understand unless one's been through it. I always got the 'stop being so lazy' and the ever popular '*rolls eyes*' and even 'how do you have time to be depressed?'.
By the way, Disneyland was freaking amazing. Wow. And our new great aunt?? She's a total doll. We're planning another trip soon! My son is so very blessed.
Hey I'm catching up and realizing you all were in Florida without me while I had to sit there in the cold and RAIN and work. Ok maybe I worked inside but still as Ellen said thank you for your prayers, lol.
At least I've been there before, I went to Ernest Hemingway's place down there which has special meaning to me because....growing up I had a cat with thumbs too! All his cats apparently had thumbs.
Well that's the thing, Kate has taught them that love can be bought and sold. That love is a points system. A dollars system.
Anyone who does not see love as a dollars and points system cannot compete with a parent who has corrupted a child that way. Even if they COULD compete, it doesn't mean they want to. I'm betting Jon doesn't want his children at a rock concert on a school night three hours from home even if he could afford it. I can't imagine most parents would be okay with a 13 year old doing such a thing. That's hardly teaching them to treat school seriously and be responsible. Work before play.
It makes perfect sense it was grifted. Someone who wanted to give the tickets to them may have said I have these tickets but they're for a concert quite a ways away from you on a school night. Of course they didn't know who is Kate to say no.
And do you have to yell at the kids when you're supposed to be out having a nice night? Give it a rest. They aren't toddlers. Most things can wait until you get home.
Since I last posted, I got a call from DIL asking me to come over for an afternoon this week so my son can attend a work meeting. She is having very low milk production, so feeding the baby is a 2 person operation because she has to nurse, pump and give supplement formula. He lost too much weight in the first few days, but is back up to birth weight after a few days of supplementing. It is normal for breast fed babies to lose some weight, because it can take up to 5 days for the milk to come in. Anyway, after listening to some of your stories here, I realize that I am very lucky.
As far as the staying for the week issue, when she told me about a week before the baby was born, I asked her how My son felt. She looked at me and said, "You tell me...how does one ever know how he feels?" So, I think that May have led to a conversation! and I know that his father also spoke to him about the importance of their having time with the baby.
In any case, the fact that they have a bit of drive and a ferry ride to get there, it may not be as big a problem as I anticipated.
PJ's momma, good to see you here, and I understand what you are saying about that thin line. I think that they are aware of the issue, so, I am going to take everyone's advice and just relax and enjoy my time, and count my blessings!

Now I might feel bad for the other grandparents if they came excitedly expecting to spend the week only to be told when they got there that the new parents had changed their minds. If that was the case they must have been crushed.
Not saying the parents don't have the right to change their minds, and maybe the dil didn't really want them there to start with but the mother just kind of assumed they would stay without asking. Or maybe the mother ignored the hints beforehand about don't stay. But I bet they were still crushed.
Pj's momma...excellent post. Just what I wanted to say, but didn't articulate nearly so well. I am always on the losing side of the line in my own situation, no matter what I do.
Prairuemary...glad you"re feeling better. Those lights make a world of difference. You can get Ott lights that you use in place of real light bulbs. I put them in my reading, sewing, and desk lamps, so that I get the light shining onto my hands. Any place where the skin is thinner is good. Hands, face, top of feet.

You see I have a different take on this - especially after The Today Show when the twins refused to throw their Dad under the bus. I don't think Kate can "buy" the kids love away from Jon. They know their Dad loves them and they love their Dad. These are smart girls and know how to "play the game". They know how to "use" their Mother to get what they want. (after all they've learned from the Master). Just my opinion...but at 13 years old I think Mady and Cara have their Mother figured out and know how to "play" her.

Absolutely she booked a limo car service. There's one conveniently located in Berks county. Think of how much that cost for the round trip and the driver wait time during the concert. She would never drive and then stay in a Fairfax hotel. No way. Since the tweeter made no mention of Uncle Steve, I believe what her sister said that Steve is no longer around. Must have realized she was no longer his cash cow and moved on.
The whole thing is ridiculous. A school night and the long drive. Yep. Had to be grifted tickets or some bribe to the girls. Wonder if they got to go back stage. The girls are going to be disappointed years down the road when the freebies dry up. Kate still has enough connections to score concert tickets but not in a few years.
Didn't I read that Mady takes singing lessons? Interesting.
Aha - now I get why the boy tups got to watch that Shirley Temple movie and get a thimbleful of yogurt Friday. Their big sisters were getting a night on the town alone with their mom Sunday. Bless her heart for always trying to keep things fair...

If it wouldn't be for the storms and hurricanes, I'd move to Key West and never leave. That's one of my favorite places on earth, and not because of the wonderful selection of bars, although that may contribute a bit to my fondness of the place!!
Our interpretation of the Today show appearance was that the girls were not throwing their dad under the bus. Maybe their behavior was more of a teen stubbornness to not do as mom wanted, or the fear of not saying their rehearsed lines precisely as mom wanted. Teens are unpredictable and selfish so Kate may find herself unable to control them as evidenced by their tv appearance. Having said that, I hope the girls love their father despite Kate's attempts to undermine him but we may be giving them too much credit that they were giving Kate a big FU because if Jon.

Can you please link the image you're talking about? ********* I was referring to how she looked presenting at the Oscars. It wasn't a slam, really. I get that she's 81 and even beauties age. Ms. Novak's face looks like she's had extensive work done over the years/decades, and it's settling, giving her a muppet-like appearance. Her face was just smooth, pulled, drooped, creased unusually and saggy all at the same time. I imagine Priscilla Presley will wind up looking like this when she's 81. My POV is simply that Ms. Novak (and Presley) is a cautionary tale about plastic surgery. She probably would have looked far, far better if she stayed away from plastic surgeons. Look at the 84-year old nominee from Nebraska. Now, she looked BEAUTIFUL, and it doesn't appear to me like she's had a lick of work done.

Kim Novak was so puffy she could barely speak! It looked like she got some work done 3 weeks ago and hadn't recovered in time for the ceremony. I wouldn't be surprised if someone went out and got some quick work done knowing they're going to present at the Oscars.

Matthew Mc. really did a good job of staying on his toes and kept the segment from going completely off the rails. June Squibb reminds me of my mom. Mom had beautiful skin that didn't start to show wrinkles until the very last years of her life. I think genes and never being a sun worshipper helped a lot.
Sleepless In Seattle said... 10 When we were small we had one grandmother that would give us each a dollar and the other one gave us cookies.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
My father used to give me $$ every Christmas. He was not a very touchy, feely kind of man, but he expressed his affection for us by buying my mother and me really mushy cards around the holidays, for birthdays ect....The last Christmas he was with us, 2001, he was so addled with Alzheimers that Mom did the cards for him, but still, tucked inside the card was a $50 (he knew enough to ask Mom to go to the bank and get a $50 bill). I still have that $50 bill. I don't think I will ever spend it, unless it is for something to honor my father.
I don't understand why you would be upset because her parents are spending so much time there, and with the baby. There are parents who have no relationship with their children and often don't even bother with their grandchildren. I would think that this child will have the best of both worlds -- grandparents on both sides who will love and cherish him. If it were my son, I'd be ecstatic that her parents cared so much about their new grandchild that they'd want to be in this baby's life.
&&&
I'm not getting it either. It's incredibly common to have your mom around after birth around here. Everyone invites their mom, and often dad, to come stay for a few weeks. I've even had friends who go stay with their parents, usually because they have a bigger place, better washer and dryer, a dishwasher, a housekeeper, etc. Sort of like a hotel those first few weeks to help you adjust.
Plus, I think it's a little different when you're the mother and it's your mom and dad. There are a lot of things about childbirth, from the postpartum bleeding to nursing to the little aches and pains, that you sort of just want your biological mom around for.
They say a daughter doesn't really understand how much her mother loved her until she has her own baby in arms. Of course she wants her mom there.
A son's mother plays an important role but the daughter's mother, at least when it comes to birth, is just something different. It's just the way it is and should be both accepted and respected.
Why the new Shirley Temple fascination? Because she died at age 85 a few weeks ago?
&&&
I think Kate loves that Shirley is a child star success story.
Shirley did well for herself in spite of being locked in a box when she was bad on set, having no friends her age except 30 and 40-something crew members, not going to a real school until she was a teen, and having her dad blow all her millions on houses and cars. She dusted herself off, married one of the wealthiest men in California (which I would think would help you get over your dad blowing your money), and got over her bizarre childhood to be a grand success. What Kate doesn't grasp is that the fact that she was as successful wife, mother and government worker does not mean it was "okay" to exploit her. She does not prove anything about child stardom. It's just a nice story of a exploited child star who had a productive adulthood.
It's just a nice story of a exploited child star who had a productive adulthood. ******* Not because she was a child star, Kate, rather, in spite of being a child star.
Like homeless to Harvard. Or those foster kids who end up being CEO of a 300 plus employee company.
They got there in spite of their tough backgrounds, not because of it.
Shirley had the luxury of not having to worry about her millions being blown because she never wanted for money once she married one of the richest men in CA. Had Shirley married a hard laborer, she might have been singing a much different tune about all those millions if her children were cold and hungry. It's sort of one of those situations where things fell into place for her and her kids where there was never a need to make waves about it. It's a lot easier to just "let things go" when you've got a comfortable life and you're happy. I'm very happy that things worked out for her, but change just one or two things that fell into place (she met a rich man, she was consumed with raising her kids, powerful Republicans were in the White House to give her the best jobs) and it could have been the biggest lawsuit in child star history.
My guess is that the tickets to the concert probably were grifted but I don't think that she got backstage passes. Had they had backstage passes she probably wouldn't have been at one of the merch tables bitching at the twins becasue she would have been too good to mingle with the common folk.
And I would bet the farm that Skeeve was also in attendance, car service or no car service. She does not do 'public' by herself. So instead of buying, I know such a common word, 3 tickets, she somehow grifted 2 pairs, and then paid for a limo and many hours of 'bodyguard' time. Perhaps he met her there, perhaps she paid for a lot of time. She never mentions him, of course, but then again she did not tell her tweeties about the event, did she? Nope, last they heard she was serving up teeny cups of fro-yo with Shirley Temple. If she hadn't had a snit fit at the merch table, she night have gone under the radar this time.
For driving the girls all the way to Virginia for a concert that she managed to grift tickets for on a possible school night with bad weather hitting, is just abdominal. She would drive many miles with free tickets to something that would still cost her a lot of money instead of staying local, buying the tickets herself and driving herself, she would come out much cheaper. If I were Jon, I would be livid. Who has the 6? Did she hire a babysitter or let Jon have them or did she put them on autopilot? It is one of the three.
This reminds me of the Gulf Shores Condo vacation. Someone got her a house on the beach for free. She loads up everyone, and drives 1113 miles one way, 18.5 hours and est. gas cost at 623.77 according to mapquest. Back home x 2. Didn't they stop on the way down and stay in a hotel? That is more money.
It would of been much cheaper to go local to the beach and rent a house, cabin, whatever and pay for it yourself! The money she spent on gas would put a huge dent in the rental of the cabin on the beach. Greed blinds her, and rational thinking goes out the window.
Perfect example of greed. A business man locally owns a vending machine snack company. He is known for when you start working there that you make good money in the beginning and then all of a sudden your paycheck gets smaller and smaller, but you are still selling the same amount of merchandise every week. Sadly, the new employees find this out later and they can't do anything about it because they don't want to lose their job,
He had a warehouse stuffed with old aluminum vending machines that he was just waiting for the price of aluminum to go up and then scrap it. Last week a nice dress man came in and told him that he wanted to buy the scrap because China was paying 10 times the amount that they pay locally. He offered him 10 times what they pay out locally. He would send his semi tractor trailer rigs and if he would rent a bobcat they could get them loaded. He was going to haul them down to Mobile and load them up on a cargo ship and it was going to sail to China! (I know, so many red flags!)
So they got 2 semis loaded and they were off to Mobile which is about a 6 or 7 hour drive. 2 1/2 hours later, a semi pulled up and was going to load more. A worker there that was helping load said, I thought you went to Mobile. The man said, Oh, uh, um, this is a different truck. Oh, okay! Loaded all of it.
The man must of told him a story that he would wire the money or something, didn't get clear on that. But long story short, they took all the vending machines to the local scrap yard that was only a less than a mile away!!! They took the bobcat that the owner rented, (20-25K) and the big fat check from the scrap yard! They require now a driver's license to scrap anything and they think the DL's could of been fake.
They only way they found out about it was a employee or someone that knows the owner saw all these vending machines stacked up in the scrap yard out front less than a mile away from the company.
Even when the guy was telling him this wonderful deal to him, his greed blinded him so bad that he couldn't wait to do the deal. So it does come back around. You reap what you sow. I feel this is the beginning for this man. He has cheated and stole from his employees for years. He rented the backhoe, so he is responsible for it. He has to buy them a new one. Just like when you rent a DVD and don't return it, you have to replace it.
Can you believe he said he was going to ship the scrap to Mobile, load it up on a cargo ship and the only way was to sail down to Panama, then head to China!
But IMHO, the lying, thief that wanted the scrap don't hold a candle to the professional grifter TCFW. Churches, friends, family, volunteers, fans and former fans, concierge food demands, suites at the Essex House with 2 bedrooms with adjoining doors, twitter grifts, gift cards.... on and on and on...Chipolte....Bella Bars....Hair services...Organic Cow...on and on and on...
Now I might feel bad for the other grandparents if they came excitedly expecting to spend the week only to be told when they got there that the new parents had changed their minds. If that was the case they must have been crushed. ---------- Her parents live 45" away--not out of town. The only reason I am bringing it up is because my son brought it up, and my DIL has no idea how he felt about them staying. They constantly monopolize every weekend--it took me awhile to see that this is why I rarely saw them. They have a son, who, according to my son, has written them off because they are never satisfied with less than all or most of his time.
I asked for feedback because my mother-in-law died when I was pregnant with my first, so I don't have my personal experience to draw on. I would have loved to have my mother-in-law around to see her grandchildren. So believe me, I don't take any of this for granted.
I have 2 daughters, so I completely understand the bond. It wasn't in the plan for me to be in the room for any of the labor and delivery, but she had a very difficult and long labor. After 8 hours of hard labor, everyone was worn out, with many more hours to. So, my son and her mother were able to take breaks. She wanted two people with her at all times, so they were very grateful that I was able to come for extra support. DIL was incredibly grateful (not to mention my son, who was pretty overwhelmed) that we could both be there.
I'm sure that my son and DIL are figuring it out. They cleared everyone out for the weekend to give them time alone. So, I am way less concerned than I was just a day or two ago.
Shirley Temple is the exception that proves the rule, as they used to say. Yes, she was able to have a good adult life. She was able to not dwell on her resentment for her childhood treatment. But that doesn't mean everyone can do it. Look at all the child stars that crash and burn.
Shirley must have been blessed with a very positive temperament. I think a lot of that is genetics. I am personally prone to depression. I think that if I went through that I might be a complete mess. There is no way of knowing yet how the G kids will cope as adults. Will some turn to drugs? Will some turn into Kate? Will some be just fine? I think Shirley Temple is irrelevant to those kids. Kate is blind as usual.
I haven't read a single post that said that Jon should keep quiet or be silenced.
&&&
Really? That's a very common view here I've seen and you're a regular. Many people feel Jon should not say a word. -------------- I don't have time to look back at that common now, but, I think that I said that there is a difference in speaking out and spilling it all publicly on an entertainment show, for public consumption. Speak out in court, by all means. Report her for abuse--yes! Don't go on television and tell your wife to die, no matter what the context! I always go back to whether this particular thing is more likely to benefit the kids or potentially harm them. We don't know how they feel now, or, will feel in the future. I can't believe that any of them are going to say how happy they are that he went on television. Maybe they won't care--but, maybe it is just prolonging the nightmarish quality of their lives.
A son's mother plays an important role but the daughter's mother, at least when it comes to birth, is just something different. It's just the way it is and should be both accepted and respected.

My FIL died suddenly a few days after our first baby was born. His wife, my DH's narcissistic stepmother from hell (who made Joan Crawford look like Aunt Bea from Mayberry) turned to my husband for emotional support. He had taken two weeks off work for our homecoming and settling in, but funeral arrangements and tending to her and dealing with a manifold of emotions of his own blew that plan. What should have been the happiest time of our lives mutated into a nightmare.
Step-MIL made our lives a living hell until finally when she wanted us to spend xmas eve at her home and sleep over for Xmas day, we adamantly declined so she threatened suicide (she lived five minutes from us). No way were we going to spend our first Christmas with our newborn listening to her wail and moan and sob the entire time. DH told her to go ahead and do it if that's what she wanted. Of course, it was an empty threat and he knew it. I know that sounds like we had no compassion and we probably didn't have any by that time, but back then we were clueless about the term narcissism and how narcissists will emotionally exhaust you to the point of becoming dispassionate towards them.
Somehow we got through it, but knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have put up with ANY of the crap we put up with from her.

It's really your son and daughter in law's problem, not yours. I'm afraid grandparents do tend to "monopolize" but if they let them that's on them. Stay out of in laws issues. My grandmother said at my great grandmother's funeral that she admired her for the good mother in law she was. She was supportive but did not get involved in their problems. Stay out of it I think is a good rule of thumb.
Holy spit, poor DH. He's shoveling to keep ahead of snow piling up and a plow just came through and pushed a 3- ft. mound 2 feet away from the mailbox area he just cleared! If Kate and the twins didn't scoot back to PA asap after the concert, they were foolish. This has been a really bad storm, travel-wise. The roads could not be pretreated due to rain at higher temps yesterday, then we had a polar plunge and you can really tell the difference without the chemicals now.
CJWhodunit @CJWhodunit 5h @Kateplusmy8 Hey,Miss22!Looks like y'all are missing school today too due to bad weather?Or regular day for the kids?Stay warm either way!❄️
Look again. We all had only a coating of snow. Forecasters missed it by a mile. School was not closed; only those in the most southern part of the county.
It IS the new parents' issue, but my MIL inserted herself into her granddaughter's life from day one, the marriage didn't survive, and the ex husband still tells us he has always felt like, "Jeez, back OFF." Even now, that 'baby' is 25 and the grandma is front and center more than the dad at things like high school and college graduations, weddings, etc., even though the parents shared custody. We all kept mum, but if someone had told the ex that they noticed it, which validated his own, unexpressed feelings, it may have given him the nudge to be courageous and say something, and they might still be married, instead of on opposite sides of the bitter fence. The daughter remarried and her mom did exactly the same thing with the daughter born in that marriage, and continues, because nobody says a word. It's all done out of love on her part (and the kids adore her), but it is very intrusive, and her daughter is very narcissistic and thrives on the attention. Someone can gently make their feelings known without making demands or putting pressure on someone. But some people, if you give them an inch, do take the whole mile, and it's hard to take that back without lots of hurt feelings on both sides. This early in the game, it is wise to say nothing, but if it gets worse (like the family wedding trip this summer), I don't see the problem in gently guiding the son, if that's what he expresses that he wants. Communication is key and it goes both ways.

Yes, indeed. You have to bite your tongue, and on one side of the family, one relative did a lot of biting until it drew blood. But you stay out of it or you just keep digging yourself in deeper and deeper until it becomes a Hatfield and McCoys situation.

It's not dispassionate- manipulation has its limits. Thank you so much for sharing. My own narc BF tried that with me, and I fell for it many times. I don't see the problem in gently guiding the son, if that's what he expresses that he wants. Communication is key and it goes both ways. ***** I agree, but think that to view this as a "marathon" and not a "sprint" is a sage path to take. Choose your battles wisely.
Tucker's mom -- the chocolate side always scooped out first, next the strawberry center and finally we had a smeared vanilla slice to consume before a new tub was purchased.
Tucker's Mom, totally agree with you on the marathon vs. sprint analogy. It's very early in the game now and probably best to see how it plays out the next few weeks/months. The parents are no doubt overwhelmed at this point.
So, apparently Eileen O'Neill is no longer over TLC and is now in charge of the "Velocity and Science Channel" - huh?. Have they grown tired of 6 Ton People, Sex Accidents of the ER, etc, etc,??? ***** Oh great, now O'Neill will ruin science for viewers.

localyocul said... 177 Okay, so Milo why don't YOU have ice cream and movie night? Good grief when my dd was 3 we would make every other weekend (when I had her as opposed to her dad) special. On Friday we would go to Pizzeria Uno and shew would get Tiny Dino nuggets. We would stop by a firehouse my friend worked at and she would play with the gear. Then we would pick out a movie. We called it dinner and a movie night. We probably did this til she was in middle elementary school. Isn't it normal for parents to have some such tradition with their kid(s)??? **** Interesting point that "Milo" never shares about doing anything special with her alleged child. Even if he's a teenager (as my son is), don't they ever have movie night, or pizza night, or EVER anything special? She wants all the boring personal details of Kate's life, but yet is mum about her own alleged family life. Whoever "Milo" is, she is a huge phony.
I note Kate supposedly allowed her minions a single serve of ice cream. Why do I doubt even that? She's so stingy with those kids.
And like you localyokul, my son and I have lots of memories of special things we did "just because." Often, it would be on Friday nights, to celebrate the end of a long week and the beginning of a week-end. Pizza and frozen yogurt; or pancakes and bacon for dinner. I didn't do them to be "super mom." It's just fun to do something out of the ordinary and spend time with my kid.
The tweet about Kate being seen at the show was sent around 9 p.m., The show started at 7 p.m. Backstage passes are often honored before a show begins if the star is doing a rush after the show and not hanging around. It's entirely possible that they had passes before the show, and she and the twins hit the merchandise table either at intermission or after the show.
More often than not, if you're on the guest list (and we really don't know how Kate got the tickets -- grifting, bought, or if someone put her on the guest list), then backstage passes go along with being on the guest list.
I missed the entire Demi concert discussion last night. I went on a ghost tour of the bar haunts in Key West. At each stop, participants were told that in addition to the bottled spirits in the establishments, there were also spirits who loved their hangouts so much they didn't want to leave, even after a hundred or more years. Quite interesting, actually, and the free shots were most welcomed.
I bet it is grinding Milo's gears to find out via this cesspool and Twitter that Kate went to a concert without telling her!
Funny, when I read the tweet about the single serve yogurt, I automatically assumed she was the single being served and the kids got nothing. You know, like the bottle of water?
A mom who takes young teens out if town to miss school for a concert is not a good mom but an indulgent mom. The twins probably wanted more than she was willing to get last night at merchandise. She's set the standard if life on a golden platter now she's going to have to deal with the demands an entitlement

I am hoping that this is just an adjustment period, and that they will back off before my son gets fed up. He is very easygoing, but he does store up his resentment. I'm glad that he is talking to me about it, but It is very touchy territory. Any feedback would be appreciated! ****** I'm not a grandma nor a MIL, although I hope to be both some day. Here's my 2 cents, fwiw. I'm glad your son has you as his sounding board and a place to vent some frustration. However, ultimately, he has to be the one to deal with the situation. He may decide not to rock the boat because his foremost choice is keeping the new mama happy right now. Or maybe he will find a way to talk to your DIL and they can reach a compromise. Or perhaps some other outcome.
I'd say just remain there as a sounding board, and as a source of encouragement. Your son is the one who will have to decide how much he is willing to give, and at what point enough is enough. I wish him and your DIL all the best in dealing with new parenthood and with the expectations that come from extended family members. Ultimately they are the parents and they should be the ones making the decisions. If any grandparent doesn't like it, that's too bad.
(I dealt in a minor way with my father disapproving of my more lenient methods of discipline when my child was young. I finally spoke up and told him it was none of his business. It made for a tense moment, but I reminded him that he would have probably responded the same way when his own kids were still young. He acknowledged that was true and from then on, he kept his opinions of my parenting to himself, and harmony was restored.)

Isn't it just like Kate. Send your children to an expensive private school, then take the kids out, to satisfy her immature need to still be a teenager and fame a-hole. Kate is trying to live through her girls or trying to be their BF. Kate has little regard for education, she could careless if those kids get educated. If a new show came along or a invite to Disneyland, came, Kate would not hesitate to take those kids out of school to go. Sorry, Kate never motivates her kids to learn, or try something new, she expects the school to teach them. That's why she had so much trouble with some of the tups. She is a tool! JMO
I wonder, what Kate is going to do with the kids, from 3/7 to 3/17, spring break , back in school on the 18th. Did Kate score a vacation freebee, or is she filming something, behind Jon back. What is she going to do? Work those kids into a frenzy cleaning, or is she planning on putting all of them on TV? Or in People? She has been too quiet!

Christina Crawford's book is a primer to his story. Some of the things dh has told me would make people think it's fictional. In fact he was quite upset when her Mommie Dearest book/movie came out and some critics said it was an exaggeration of her childhood written out of spite. He believed her because he had lived it too.
Great advice, as usual, Tucker's Mom and Pj's momma! I don't comment to them about any of this--I am venting it here instead. Obviously, it is their problem, and I think they are dealing with it very well.
Auntie--it is so sad that your husband's father's passing coincided with the birth of your first child. But, in dysfunctional families, "it's always something"-- If it wasn't that thing, it would have just been something else!

UMMM exactly. She probably refused to answer phone calls, or text requests to talk to the kids. DUH. She admits she purposefully did not talk to him. It's against custody orders to respond to requests to talk to the kids. He could have texted with no reply, left voicemails with no reply, and it would still fit in with what he said.
I wonder, what Kate is going to do with the kids, from 3/7 to 3/17, spring break , back in school on the 18th. Did Kate score a vacation freebee, or is she filming something, behind Jon back. What is she going to do?
(((((((((((((
Do we really need to know? If they go on vacation, or if they have a stay-at-home time with some day trips, I would hope that she doesn't do a daily report and gives them some private time...hopefully some of it with their father.
Thanks for the congratulations everyone! We're all still grinning. They've decided they're going to elope but with immedidate (my husband and I, younger daughter and her family; fiance's dad and his sister and her fiance) family in attendance. His parents divorced when he was very young and he and his sister were raised by their dad. He has no relationship with his mom. Whatever they want is fine with us. Her fiance is doing a three month internship in DC in the summer and they want to start trying to get pregnant in the fall so I'm assuming they'll be tying the knot in the next couple of months.
Ex Nurse...I'm sure your son and dil will figure it out. Just give them some time. Glad your feeling better about the situation than you were a few days ago. Just keep enjoying that baby!
Kelly...104 How about Wolfgang, Fritz, Otto, Gunter, Jager, Dieter or Hans? The hubs had a German Shepard when he was a child and his name was Hans. Our German Shepard's name is Dieter. Congrats on your new four legged baby.
That's Jon's whole point, that she cuts off communication with him. She wouldn't talk to him the whole time he was on the show? Why? Jealousy? He didn't cease to be the children's father just because he happens to be working out of town. Grow up, Kate. He donated his sperm and fathered eight kids and that's never gonna change.

They drove three hours to sit in the Peanut Gallery? Good grief, Kate. That's the best you could do? Why bother? You need binoculars to see from that section!
Kelly - Him is a BEAUTIFUL baby! There is nothing on this earth that is cuter than an English puuppy. If he's anything like mine was when he was a puppy I'd suggest Tank. Mine didn't go around you he went through you or anything that was in his way. Had we but known we would have named him Tank.
Tucker's Mom - Yes, those Dixi ice cream cups were a part of every celebration in schoool, church, birthday parties, you name it. I hadn't thought about them in a while.
If she was grifting for Ben & Jerry's she's lost her touch because she only mentioned them but forgot to use the @ or # sign so that they'd know whe was mentioning them.
Interesting that Milo tweets TFW is working to clean up Jon's "mess" and then this article from Radar comes out. But of course, TFW wouldn't sell stories to tabloids.
Auntie Ann said: DH told her to go ahead and do it if that's what she wanted. Of course, it was an empty threat and he knew it. I know that sounds like we had no compassion and we probably didn't have any by that time, but back then we were clueless about the term narcissism and how narcissists will emotionally exhaust you to the point of becoming dispassionate towards them. ****** Wow! I think that was 100% the appropriate response. People who stoop to emotional blackmail ought to be called on it. If you do write a book, publish it to Amazon so we can download it to Kindle :)
I also noticed that they were in the nosebleed section, and I'm so tacky that I smirked...I'll admit that!
As soon as the ROL thing showed up on TCFW's timeline, someone questioned the ''fake'' phone call, and Dr Jen confirmed that the phone call was real, and she confirmed it more than once on TFW's timeline. Not that that will make a lick of difference to the sheeple or ROL.

Always, always the same old - she gets to pretend she's a fun mom, or a teen herself, or both AND she's making memories. Always about making memories, not about actually living the real life. Meh.
Admin said: A son's mother plays an important role but the daughter's mother, at least when it comes to birth, is just something different. It's just the way it is and should be both accepted and respected. ****** Interestingly, my dad's mother was the one who came and stayed with us each time my mom had a baby. I think my mom (who has never discussed it) had a complicated relationship with her own mother (possibly in part because her mom did try to continue to control her life choices even after she got married). So she had her mother in law come to stay and help out instead.
However, when us daughters had our children, we always welcomed our mom's visit for the first couple of weeks. She was the helper I wanted and needed.
I also know that I didn't feel truly grown up until I became a parent myself. It didn't happen overnight, but gradually my own perspective shifted. Perhaps that will happen for your DIL Ex Nurse - as she bonds with your son and their baby and forms their own nucleus as a family.

Why is it so hard to believe that scene was contrived? Do you think it was a coincidence that there was a super close-up shot of Jon just at that moment? It's "reality TV", folks, not "reality." There is a fundamental difference between the two.
Since they went to the DL show because Cara is a fan, I bet they will all go to 1D for Mady. She could have taken only Cara if Mady does not like DL. Just because they are fraternal twins does not mean they need to share everything. Cara said she did not like 1D.
Kelly, welcome to your new puppy. We had a dachshund named Gustav...called him Gus. I always liked that name! It fit him perfectly. He just "looked" like a Gus.

Yes, Meh! Notice how all of this "good mommy" stuff has picked up after Jon mentioned how he wants to seek full custody? She's just itching to get this out there, and she doesn't disappoint.
Auntie, thanks for your research on The Graduate. Very interesting! Even though I've seen the film countless times, I didn't realize that there was some back information regarding Dustin and the banging of the head. That was great trivia! If I watch the movie again, I'll have to think of you and your explanation, and of Dustin laughing his head off, and Mike off-stage doing the same thing.

Oh, I agree, Millicent. The key here is giving it time. It's all new to them (in fact, new to everyone involved), and it can be overwhelming. It does work itself out, and it's so worth it, even though at time emotions get the better of you. Bonding for everyone doesn't happen overnight, but the important thing is to have patience. Love will take care of the rest.

Dr. Jenn Berman @DrJennBerman 2h @mscatie I witnessed it myself. It happened. #CouplesTherapy

Dr. Jenn Berman @DrJennBerman 2h @mscatie I witnessed a phone call.'' ~~~~ Of course, I suppose you could believe that Dr. Jenn is lying. I will probably believe just about anyone before some ''insider'' posting something on ROL in order to accuse Jon of something, or make TCFW blameless. To each their own!
Well, since they BOTH said no phone calls, just texts, I would believe that, unless Jon changed that for the show to prove what happens? Bad situation whatever is the truth.Parents need to communicate to look after their children properly.
I was thinking about Celebrity Worship and Kate's Number One obsessed fan. I've seen such fans camp out at a general admission show for 24 hours, sleeping in a lawn chair, waiting to get a spot by the stage, bringing gifts, food, items to be signed. I've seen a fan spend his last dime on a concert ticket and drive 1500 miles to a show, following a celebrity around. What puzzles me in the case of Kate's devoted fan is that she must have had the opportunity to meet Kate when Kate was in her heyday of fame. There were public appearances, book signings, that must have been within a reasonable driving distance.
This lack of a physical following just doesn't fit the usual profile of an uber fan. I wonder why this fan hasn't made any effort to meet her idol. The "she's too far away" excuse doesn't hold any water. If a fan is as devoted as this one claims to be, he or she will do anything to get close to that person. Someone here (was it Layla) went to the book fair and gave a report on a fan who just wouldn't leave and was making a nuisance out of herself. That's the mo of a typical fan. They want to meet the celebrity and can't tear themselves away,
Kate's Number One fan just doesn't seem to meet that criteria. She's satisfied to pester through tweeting and communicating in other ways. It's good that she hasn't gone the route of following Kate around and seems to be satisfied with worshiping from afar, all the while pretending that she and Kate are best friends. Kate would have her hands full if she had to deal with her on an up close and personal level.
Admin, in your experience in nannying for a celebrity, were there fans who showed up on the doorstep, or at various appearances, and wanted more than anything to just be noticed?
Is it possible Jon called the McMansion and she answered? Maybe he wanted to catch her off guard. Caller ID would show a Hollywood area code. No way she's not answering that! (just me being silly! LOL)
Jon said he and Kate haven't communicated by phone for years. They text. I think Dr.Jenn witnessed what she thought was a call between Jon and Kate. She didn't say she actually heard Kate on the other end. It's strange that they would start communicating by phone while he is on CT. I know Kate is stupid, but I don't think even she is that stupid.
He called her because he wanted to speak with his children on the phone. Text works fine when you are texting that you'll pick the girls up from soccer practice. Text doesn't work when you're trying to hear your child's voice. He had to dial her number. I believe Dr Jenn. She was standing right there and has no reason to lie. She is a licensed therapist and lying about what you witnessed would be career suicide.

PJ, I think he was on his cell phone so it would be his number on caller ID.
I say the same thing Admin. How else is Jon going to talk to his kids w/o calling via Kate's phone. I doubt she even has a land line - she doesn't allow access to the outside world.
I believe Dr Jenn. She was standing right there and has no reason to lie. She is a licensed therapist and lying about what you witnessed would be career suicide.
*********************
How do you know she was "standing right there?" She certainly can't be seen in the footage. He's sitting on grass away from the house, and she just happened to be standing there?
At least two of his children have cell phones, so he doesn't need to go through Kate to speak to his kids.
He called her because he wanted to speak with his children on the phone. Text works fine when you are texting that you'll pick the girls up from soccer practice. Text doesn't work when you're trying to hear your child's voice.
====
Yes, unlike Kate who doesn't miss her kids when she's three thousand miles away from them. What did she say? If I don't hear from them, it's good. Something along that line.
Staged or not, the mere thought of an ex-wife like her and what she's done to that family would send Ghandi himself into a violent rage. Screw ROL and Kate's lonely little flock of sheep and what they believe. Jon knows, we know, anyone who has ever associated with her and about five million other people know what kind of jackhole she is and what she's capable of and it's finally biting her in the ass. She effed up big time on the Today show and she can't cope with it. The celebrity part of her 'career' is kaput. [cue Roy Orbison song It's Over here]
Crusin: I hope that Kate will not say what the kids will be doing for the spring break. I don't think last year she did anything with the kids. They cleaned. Wasn't it. Geez, Kate won't even take 6pk to the local movie house to see a movie, does anyone think she will take them any where else, unless someone flips the bill? But you know she will. She is predicable. The fact she has been too quiet, last time she filmed the kids for CWS, then People, then today show etc. Every time Kate is quiet, she is doing something, under the radar. Someone will catch her and tweet, like this concert. Kate was quiet the past couple of days. I hope she does not show up on TV, in People or shows up with the kids on TV.
And this source for ROL is from Kates camp, is probably Deanna, since Kate was tweeting her last week.
Tho why a licensed therapist would be answering a tweet from someone she does not know, regarding a supposedly therapeutic situation is beyond me. Apparently not beyond reality tv.
I wonder if Jon calls to speak to the kids by phone often then? Kate was so weird about the phone, almost afraid of it, when one of Mady's little friends called on the show. She had Carla I think answer and say Mady could not talk on the telephone. Years ago, but it was strange.I don't recall seeing a land-line in the new house, but I'm sure they must have one.
Lila 140 said . . ."Either he claimed to have had a CONVERSATION with Kate or the therapist lied."
There is a third and a fourth option here. TFMJG's "insider" lied to ROL. ROL made up the whole story. Either of those is as plausible as your two options. Personally, I believe that Jon communicated with TFMJG in one manner or another and that she denied him access to his children. I don't really care if it was a phone call, a text message, or a voice mail. The salient point is that she is denying him access to the children in violation of the court ordered custody agreement.
I'm so glad I decided to stay down here in Key West for a couple of more days. Lounging by the pool, looking for shells on the beach, the ghost tour -- all much more fun than shoveling snow!

Etch that in stone somewhere. lol!
Years later, after yet another heated argument with his stepmother on the phone about not visiting her "often enough", she told dh she was going to report him for elderly abuse. He said "you want to talk about abuse now? Good, let's talk". She never used that line on him again.
Wouldnt it be awesome of they air the phone call next week or put it online in the "what you didn't see" segment just to prove it? You can probably hear TFW screaming.
Did they show the entire conversation from dial to hang up or just a piece of it? Maybe she was standing right there for the piece we didn't see. I can't imagine she would say she was standing right there if there is footage that makes him look like he was alone.
Or, maybe she was standing behind the camera man, off camera. Or, maybe she is referring to the 50 other calls he made trying to speak to his children that she may have witnessed part of.
All reasonable possibilities.
One thing I've noticed about Dr. Jenn is she gets quite protective and defensive of her clients, which is why when she saw a flat out made up story she knew for a fact was not true, she went to bat for Jon and validated that yes indeed his ex was a nightmare and I saw it. I think she would do the same for Taylor, Farrah, Kelsey and some of the others in the house.
The twins may not have been picking up their cells. It's also possible the twins weren't home when he called. Unlike the tups they appear to have somewhat of a life outside of the house. So that does him no good when he calls them outside the home if he wants to speak to the Tups. It's also possible he DID call their cells but Kate picked up. Very possible. I can see her saying girls who is that, that's dad, hand it over to me NOW.
Remember when he said he texted Mady when she was on the Today show? He said Mady didn't reply. I'm sure if they see dad calling and Kate is right there doing her typical parental alienation, they might feel incredibly uncomfortable to pick it up.
Kate is welcome to speak for herself instead of getting some fan to be her source. She is welcome to say this conversation was "fake." Until then I refuse to believe most licensed therapists would lie about a conversation she witnessed. It's unbelievably unethical and puts your license on the line.
I"m fully convinced that the sheeple write these stories and submit them to ROL..The Gosselin story is not interesting enough for ROL to put much effort into covering them. The stories tend to follow the sheeple rantings too closely to be coincidence, imo.
___________________________________________
Great post, again, Ex Nurse!!
I'm sure everything with the new baby will work out. Just needs some time. Hang in there! :)
I can't believe that any of them are going to say how happy they are that he went on television
&&&
I think this will be but a blip on the radar. I think they will be more concerned with the time they spent on T.V. making money for their parents and how that affected their self esteem, self worth, trust, and so on, rather than some 6 episode run their dad did on a forgotten T.V. show 10 years ago.
I"m fully convinced that the sheeple write these stories and submit them to ROL..
&&&
Maybe, but whoever fed this one to them didn't think it through. I think their version of events actually makes Kate look even worse. In their version, Kate was so jealous and pissed that Jon went back on TV she refused all communication at all. That just makes her look like one big baby, vindictive, and in direct violation of their family law order. I'd rather see her communicating with him and fighting, than cutting of all contact whatsoever just because he went on some dumb T.V. show. At least try to communicate. Grow up.
Huh? How is that hypoctical? Jon too is welcome to speak for himself. And he certainly has. They are BOTH welcome to speak for themselves, there is nothing hypocritical about this at all.

You go, Auntie!! Tell it like it is. :) Kate is one nasty piece of work.
last night, someone asked one of the people on twitter that said they saw Kate and the twins at the concert, whether Steve was there too, and they answered yes. I didn't post it at the time, because it was so late and I thought somebody else might have already done it, and now I have no idea how to go back and find it. Maybe one of you that are better with Twitter would be able to find it? It was the the twitter post with the typo (if that helps).
I thought you, or someone else, just said you think Dr. Jenn is a liar because they didn't film her standing there.
How do we know Dr. Jenn is a liar if they never even showed the conversation she said she was there for in the first place? ******************************************************* If you are going to respond to me, have the courtesy to post the entirety of my comment. Clipping the "they didn't show ANY of it" portion is disingenuous. I stated that they only showed him "hanging up." Come ON. If they had juicy footage of a fight with his ex-wife, what are the odds that the only portion they would show is him hanging up the phone and then cursing, after the fact, not AT her directly?
I don't find a therapist who participates in trashy reality TV to be ethical int he first place, so I don't think it would be beyond her to lie. YMMV.

That's ridiculous! Why the hell would they need Steve? Good grief George Zimmerman walks around unharmed I think they can too. Not one paparazzi shot, a handful of tweets about them, otherwise they went unnoticed. She is ridiculous.
If they had juicy footage of a fight with his ex-wife, what are the odds that the only portion they would show is him hanging up the phone and then cursing, after the fact, not AT her directly?
&&&
Pretty high odds, given that they would have been required by law to get a release from Kate before airing her phone call. Think Kate signed off on that? I don't.
There is nothing in the requirements of being a licensed therapist or their ethical code that says you can't do therapy on T.V. She is not the first to do so. It may not be my idea of therapy but neither is a lot of other methods that people swear works. Kelsey in particular I think has taken tremendous benefit from this. She broke up with Ghost for one, and I'm not sure that honestly would have happened at least not for a long time without this show. It is not right for me or for you, it does not mean Dr. Jenn is therefore a bad therapist or unethical or a liar.
If you want your comment published you'll have to follow rule three and four. Until then they go straight to the trash where they belong.
Of course Steve was there. When is he ever not there? Wonder how much the dad of almost grown teen boys enjoyed the DL concert? The money must be really good.
I wouldn't want our conversations aired on national television.
&&&
They wouldn't be, so there's no fear of that. They would need a release. All you'd have to do to be extra safe is to have your attorney draft a letter indicating you are putting them on notice you are NOT consenting to your phone calls being aired and that they are not to air them or face full prosecution of the law. No judge would allow them to air it in CA.
Simple. Then you can follow your family law order and permit your ex to communicate with your children per the LAW.
Kate talked to Jon on the phone during K+8 when she took the kids to NZ.
&&&
Yes but we didn't actually hear Jon's VOICE did we? So it must have been fake! A set up! They lied! It's a conspiracy! Or maybe they just could not get Jon's permission to air his voice, could be that.
Kate has taken the twins to a few concerts. The six have been to one we know of at the end of the RV trip. Did they not get to see Taylor Swift?
I bet they each got tix to a concert of their choice ( Demi for Cara, and D1 for Mady) for Christmas.
Kate went to virginia because they are too special to attend in their own neighborhood...there would be Chaos!
and Kate, the nosebleed section is pretty darn mediocre I would say...you are sliding the slippery slope downwards into nothingness.... How will you cope?
Actually, at the time, I thought that call from Australia/NZ was staged! TLC had Jon over a barrel and knew he couldn't say anything if they pretended to call. It didn't sound right or was too civil or something. Or maybe they weren't as bad with each other then as they are now. Who knows. Who cares.
Egads, I sounded like a sheeple for a sec. Ducking now!
neither is language about lying about a reality TV scene
***
Wrong, Lila. Dr. Jenn IS required to be honest according to the California Ethical Principles of Psychologists. It says it right there in black and white and it says nothing about it not applying just because she's on a reality show or doing a reality TV "scene". She is required to be honest, period, in all aspects of what she does in therapy, even on twitter.
I do not believe Dr. Jenn would violate "General Principle Principle C: Integrity" and risk her license, reputation, and livlihood just to defend Jon Gosselin of all people. She was telling the truth. She saw the conversation with Kate, and Kate was in fact being a nightmare. I'm not sure why that's so darn hard to believe. It's not the first time Kate has been a nightmare and we've all seen dozens of other examples and had dozens of other people besides Jon attest to it.
If you don't believe the code says that, here it is for you:
Principle C: Integrity Psychologists seek to promote accuracy, honesty and truthfulness in the science, teaching and practice of psychology. In these activities psychologists do not steal, cheat or engage in fraud, subterfuge or intentional misrepresentation of fact. Psychologists strive to keep their promises and to avoid unwise or unclear commitments. In situations in which deception may be ethically justifiable to maximize benefits and minimize harm, psychologists have a serious obligation to consider the need for, the possible consequences of, and their responsibility to correct any resulting mistrust or other harmful effects that arise from the use of such techniques.
Not sure how it could be any clearer. Notice how it doesn't say they should be honest only in a private therapeutic session or only when they are on the clock. They are supposed to be honest in general, in all aspects of their lives, on TV, on twitter, anything. All aspects.
Dr. Jenn cannot lie about what she sees or she risks her license.
Admin, in your experience in nannying for a celebrity, were there fans who showed up on the doorstep, or at various appearances, and wanted more than anything to just be noticed?
&&&&
Hm. I'm not sure what they wanted. I did not see the fans at the gate, only knew it was happening because they buzzed (the gate is two tennis court lengths away from the front door) I to this day do not know what to make of it and to this day am frightened by it. Now imagine being a child in that situation.
I want to be fair, truly most fans were really nice, normal, and appropriate and just felt moved by celeb's work, and that was understandable as they have made a fair amount of work that really meant a lot to people. People would have very touching stories about how this film helped them talk to their daughter about something important, or they watched this or that DVD with their dad while he was dying, etc., and it got them talking about this or that. Even a narcissist feels moved.
Like I said there were several fans who worked for them through the years, even one pretty intense one. They seemed to prefer that, it was someone they knew understood them, their career, and had a vested interest in them and their successes, instead of just another job.
The thing is there are a lot of celebrity nannies and assistants who are just doing it to pay their audition tape bills. That wasn't me. I wanted to be a lawyer, not a celebrity, and I made it quite clear what my aspirations were. I cared about the kids I was looking after very deeply. We told each other we loved each other, shared everything, spent obscene amounts of time together, traveled together, I took it very seriously. I think they appreciated that over some drive-by who was going to auditions in their spare time and could leave at any moment for some bit part.
Literally my second job interview question was are you of fan of X? They were so pleased when I said yes of course I really enjoyed X and X. However, most of their fans were reaching retirement age because celeb is older, so there are not very many immature teens like so many of Kate's fans who I think are a different breed, more brazen, ruder, more ridiculous, haven't matured yet and lost interest.
It was really only a few they complained about and oddly enough most of the really bad ones were European. Not sure what that's about, if it's more accepted to be so demanding with a celeb over there or something.

Does anyone think that TCFW sold this to ROL? This sounds just like TCFW. Seems like she can turn any situation in to money for her.
I wonder if they stayed overnight in a hotel in VA? Did the girls go to school today? If Steve was there, why would he let TCFW gripe the girls out about the merch? Thought he was her buffer! Poor TCFW.
This is nothing compared when the girls get a little bit older, THEN the tsunami as in 6 as in 100 ft. Rogue Wave!
It would be great if Mady or Cara gets engaged down the road and TLC invites Mady and Cara, the 3 girls and JON to be on Say Yes to the Dress! And he brings Liz and they are both appropriately dressed! If the boys want to go that is fine.
TMZ has a very scary article about Taylor Swift and a man who has stalked her for years. It even scared me and I can't see TCFW handling this very well at all!
The headline says: Stalker Threatens to Kill anyone who gets in his way!
Taylor Swift just got a restraining order against a guy who believes he's married to the singer and who vowed to murder anyone who stands between them -- including Secretary of State John Kerry.
Swift filed legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- in which she claims Timothy Sweet has dogged her since January, 2011.
Sweet has sent a torrent of emails, letters, and social media posts professing his love for her.
Among the messages:
-- "If anyone in Taylor Swift's family gets killed, it is not my fault." -- "My wife, Taylor Swift (Sweet) and I live in Beverly Hills. I am in love with her. In conclusion, we treat each other with dignity and respect. I will carry a gun to protect her the rest of my life." -- "Dearest Taylor, I'll kill any man who gets in the way of our marriage. Message to John Kerry, Secretary of State. Message from YOUR Presidential Candidate."
Swift says she's worried for her safety and the safety of her family.
A judge just ordered Sweet to stay 100 yards away from Swift and 3 members of her family.
When he said John Kerry, the Secret Service will step in. IMHO.
1019 sediments (sic) from readers:
«Oldest ‹Older 401 – 600 of 1019 Newer› Newest»Just thought I'd pop in to say that I saw a clip of Jon on CT.
Ex Nurse...
Yes.

@SandyMalone_ @LilyatIW @Kateplusmy8 Excellent article Sandy!
Any idea what this means?

NOT

Primariemary,
My heart dropped into my stomach when I read how depressed you've been but I'm so cheered and encouraged that you're reporting that you feel better!

Who is with the 6?!

Plus, they'd better high tail it out of there, or rather, the limo driver better, because we're in the thick of the storm that's already here.
Is everyone sharing Ellen Degeneres group photo? Quick, get in Facebook or twitter and share or retweet it!

I think that the real problem is that TCFW has taught her children to believe that buying them things equals love. I don't believe they realize that she is using THEIR money to support herself and Jon's children. TCFW has no clue about what will happen when when they finally understand what she has done. Of course, that is in the future, and until Jon can get some sort of control over her/the children she will continue to rain misery onto his head!

I wonder if Jon knew she was taking the girls out of the state.
I wonder if he has the six younger ones, or did she leave them with a sitter, and once again go against the custody agreement of giving him the right of first refusal?
Don't write off the 1D concert just yet. I'm sure she plans on satisfying both girls' wishes.

Oh my! Someone needs to pay a little more attention during English class.
It seems like the judge immediately picks a side. Often, when it turns out the side they picked is a rage-filled parental alienator, they find themselves having to accept that they were wrong.
&&&

A normal kid should be hungry enough for at least a half a pint to 2/3rds of a pint.

I put them in my reading, sewing, and desk lamps, so that I get the light shining onto my hands. Any place where the skin is thinner is good. Hands, face, top of feet.
I have made up my mind. I am not leaving Key West until June! You can't make me! Ill just move into that closet at the Hemingway house that Auntie Ann found.

@EmCr68: @Kateplusmy8 guess what I'll be watching tonight?!?! #TheOscars2014 Mady and I's future stage!

Oh my! Someone needs to pay a little more attention during English class.

I is so happy for the two of youz!

I think that Kim Novak looks wonderful...especially considering she is 81. I didn't look nearly that good when I was 51!! Maybe I didn't see the same photo that you did. Can you please link the image you're talking about?
*********
I was referring to how she looked presenting at the Oscars.
I haven't read a single post that said that Jon should keep quiet or be silenced.

But, but, years ago, she took the boys to Wyoming to film episodes. Doesn't that count??
Kim Novak was so puffy she could barely speak! It looked like she got some work done 3 weeks ago and hadn't recovered in time for the ceremony. I wouldn't be surprised if someone went out and got some quick work done knowing they're going to present at the Oscars.

I thought Novak either was partially paralyzed from migrating botox, or she had a stroke at some point.
Matthew Mc. really did a good job of staying on his toes and kept the segment from going completely off the rails.
June Squibb reminds me of my mom. Mom had beautiful skin that didn't start to show wrinkles until the very last years of her life.
I think genes and never being a sun worshipper helped a lot.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
&&&
&&&
*******
Not because she was a child star, Kate, rather, in spite of being a child star.
Maybe Kate was bitching at the girls at the merch table because they wouldn't give her free merch?
----------
Her parents live 45" away--not out of town.

I don't have time to look back at that common now, but, I think that I said that there is a difference in speaking out and spilling it all publicly on an entertainment show, for public consumption.

I could write a book about that monster.

Twitters were really razzing Milo about not knowing where Kate was, and Milo didn't acknowledge any of it. Pretty funny, actually!

Okay, so Milo why don't YOU have ice cream and movie night? Good grief when my dd was 3 we would make every other weekend (when I had her as opposed to her dad) special. On Friday we would go to Pizzeria Uno and shew would get Tiny Dino nuggets. We would stop by a firehouse my friend worked at and she would play with the gear. Then we would pick out a movie. We called it dinner and a movie night. We probably did this til she was in middle elementary school. Isn't it normal for parents to have some such tradition with their kid(s)???
****
Interesting point that "Milo" never shares about doing anything special with her alleged child.
I bet it is grinding Milo's gears to find out via this cesspool and Twitter that Kate went to a concert without telling her!
capecodmama, congratulations on your daughter's engagement!
Kelly, welcome to your new "baby". Enjoy!

A mom who takes young teens out if town to miss school for a concert is not a good mom but an indulgent mom.

Maybe she got the tickets at the last minute; saw the forecast a week or so ago that we'd have 18 inches of snow by Monday morning and figured that school would be closed.

Kate made her bed now she can sleep in it.

Jon Gosselin’s Explosive Rant Against Ex Kate Was ‘Completely Staged’ Claims Source: ‘There Was No Phone Conversation’
"According to the insider, Kate, 38, purposely avoided having any conversations with Jon while he appeared on the VH1 reality TV show.
“Kate never talked to Jon on the phone during his Couples Therapy tryst,” the source told Radar."

Interestingly, my dad's mother was the one who came and stayed with us each time my mom had a baby.

Neither a text nor a voicemail message fits in with the therapist's statement that "Jon just got off a heated phone conversation with his ex-wife..." Either he claimed to have had a CONVERSATION with Kate or the therapist lied.

Kate and Jon both said they only text , no phone talks, so idk about these 50 phone calls.

Of course, I suppose you could believe that Dr.
LOL)
PJ
Jon said he and Kate haven't communicated by phone for years. They text. I think Dr.Jenn witnessed what she thought was a call between Jon and Kate. She didn't say she actually heard Kate on the other end. It's strange that they would start communicating by phone while he is on CT. I know Kate is stupid, but I don't think even she is that stupid.
Carmen
He called her because he wanted to speak with his children on the phone. Text works fine when you are texting that you'll pick the girls up from soccer practice. Text doesn't work when you're trying to hear your child's voice. He had to dial her number. I believe Dr Jenn. She was standing right there and has no reason to lie. She is a licensed therapist and lying about what you witnessed would be career suicide.

Yes, and she would be exposed by someone, maybe not right away, but she would be "found out."
I say the same thing Admin. How else is Jon going to talk to his kids w/o calling via Kate's phone. I doubt she even has a land line - she doesn't allow access to the outside world.

How do you know she was "standing right there?" She certainly can't be seen in the footage. He's sitting on grass away from the house, and she just happened to be standing there?
At least two of his children have cell phones, so he doesn't need to go through Kate to speak to his kids.
In one of the previews, Jon was on the phone saying "I want to talk to my children." Who else would he have been talking to?

Yes, unlike Kate who doesn't miss her kids when she's three thousand miles away from them. What did she say? If I don't hear from them, it's good. Something along that line.
Staged or not, the mere thought of an ex-wife like her and what she's done to that family would send Ghandi himself into a violent rage. Screw ROL and Kate's lonely little flock of sheep and what they believe. Jon knows, we know, anyone who has ever associated with her and about five million other people know what kind of jackhole she is and what she's capable of and it's finally biting her in the ass.
Caller ID would show a Hollywood area code. No way she's not answering that! (just me being silly! LOL)
-----------------------
Did he use his cell phone? I missed that part. If so, it would show up as his phone number, not a CA area code.

She couldn't have been standing right there. She wasn't beside him on the show.
Why didn't he just call the twins cells? I tend to think this was all contrived for CT.

If you are going to respond to me, have the courtesy to post the entirety of my comment.
YMMV.

If they had juicy footage of a fight with his ex-wife, what are the odds that the only portion they would show is him hanging up the phone and then cursing, after the fact, not AT her directly?
&&&
&&&
TLC is showing Kate plus 8 her b-day episodes Monday at 6am. I wanna see how drunk see gets again.
I bet her sheep will tweet about it and tweet how much they miss they queen @tlc/
Opps it's the 6th birthday-(dang).
Kate talked to Jon on the phone during K+8 when she took the kids to NZ.

Yes but we didn't actually hear Jon's VOICE did we? So it must have been fake! A set up! They lied! It's a conspiracy! Or maybe they just could not get Jon's permission to air his voice, could be that.
Lol, how silly.

I think it's all editing/VH1 fault. I mean Kate blames editing/TLC why can't Jon do the same?
Damn you vh1 and your editing skills to make Kate Goseln look bad.-(LOL)
Yes you could definitely tell VH1 was Team Jon and would do whatever it took to make Kate look bad.
It was never more apparent they were Team Jon than when they spent 25 minutes of an episode talking about not-a-masturbation.

Now now to be fair I don't think Dr Jen or the producers of CS has met KK yet so that can't really love her.-(Like her sheep do)
Actually, at the time, I thought that call from Australia/NZ was staged!

Not-a-problem. There are about 150 episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8 that make her look bad if they need more proof.
neither is language about lying about a reality TV scene
Principle C: Integrity
Psychologists seek to promote accuracy, honesty and truthfulness in the science, teaching and practice of psychology.
&&&&

Jon Gosselin’s Explosive Rant Against Ex Kate Was ‘Completely Staged’ Claims Source: ‘There Was No Phone Conversation’
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Does anyone think that TCFW sold this to ROL? This sounds just like TCFW. Seems like she can turn any situation in to money for her.
I wonder if they stayed overnight in a hotel in VA? Did the girls go to school today? If Steve was there, why would he let TCFW gripe the girls out about the merch? Thought he was her buffer! Poor TCFW.
This is nothing compared when the girls get a little bit older, THEN the tsunami as in 6 as in 100 ft. Rogue Wave!
It would be great if Mady or Cara gets engaged down the road and TLC invites Mady and Cara, the 3 girls and JON to be on Say Yes to the Dress! And he brings Liz and they are both appropriately dressed!
If the boys want to go that is fine.
I don't think TCFW could survive that!
TMZ has a very scary article about Taylor Swift and a man who has stalked her for years. It even scared me and I can't see TCFW handling this very well at all!
The headline says: Stalker Threatens to Kill anyone who gets in his way!
Taylor Swift just got a restraining order against a guy who believes he's married to the singer and who vowed to murder anyone who stands between them -- including Secretary of State John Kerry.
Swift filed legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- in which she claims Timothy Sweet has dogged her since January, 2011.
Sweet has sent a torrent of emails, letters, and social media posts professing his love for her.
Among the messages:
-- "If anyone in Taylor Swift's family gets killed, it is not my fault."
-- "My wife, Taylor Swift (Sweet) and I live in Beverly Hills. I am in love with her. In conclusion, we treat each other with dignity and respect. I will carry a gun to protect her the rest of my life."
-- "Dearest Taylor, I'll kill any man who gets in the way of our marriage. Message to John Kerry, Secretary of State. Message from YOUR Presidential Candidate."
Swift says she's worried for her safety and the safety of her family.
A judge just ordered Sweet to stay 100 yards away from Swift and 3 members of her family.
When he said John Kerry, the Secret Service will step in. IMHO.
