I'm aware of how many here feel about non-fans posting on Kate's TL which is, of course, your right. We all express our views about Kate in a way which suits us best. I've even seen posters here at times say, "gee, I wish someone would tweet this or that to Kate", so I don't really see tweeting/posting as an all or nothing kind of thing.
There was a back story off Kate's timeline where a fan was tweeting the riot act and going on & on to/about another non-fan re: "saladgate" so there was a reason for my comment. I'll not get into the details but wanted to clear up any misconceptions. If the objection is that the tweets were on Kate's TL well then, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

Ha, she's not wearing her blue contacts either in that photo. Weird that all the hair on the top is so brown and then the hair out the bottom blonde. What, no freebies from her buddy Jason? I think she can't fix her eye because she didn't do the orthonathgic (spelling?) surgery she needed to fix the whole off centered mid-face thing she has/had going on. Perhaps you can't have it after a certain age? So instead she had to go with the braces and implants to try and offset some of the worst of the misalignment. I think it has to be down as a teen and in stages. I've only known a few people that had it down and they were in jr high. Since she still has the off centered teeth I think they've done all they can to fix it as an adult. I never cared for looks in any of her stages and I find it stupid to try and look like a bimbo barbie when she wanted "china" dolls for children. Nothing like making your children feel "other". Why hasn't any real newsworthy organization picked up on Kate's alliance with Bullyville? I guess it's because she is on no one's radar if you don't actively look for stories on her. In daily life, network tv, gossip shows, she's never mentioned unless she pulls a good one, like the Today Show. The one day of "press" for for CA and Pie Face, that's been it. Maybe the show will never air. I can't stand the Donald, and don't watch the show. I'd look for youtube clips of Kate making an ass of herself or admin's wonderful recaps. On a side note, surprised there has been no sightings from the Wernersvillle locals of who is with the kids, who is taking them to the bus stop, if they're around town more with Jon. I sure hope they are spending the majority of their time with him. Those kids sure do deserve a break from her and her minions that enforce "her rules". No sighting of her in NYC, must be really boring in a hotel with just her and Steve. My advice to FrankieCee on twitter would be to just step away from that group of Kate's fans. They will draw out the controversy for days and weeks until the next one comes along. and they will constantly try and drag her back into battles by commenting on any & everything she tweets about. For them, it's not about Kate, it's about the battle. If you just walk away from their insanity, then they have nothing but their own bullcrap to rehash. Give their views & bullcrap no notice & no value because it is nothing but bullcrap. It's the only effective way I've found to deal with them. Don't ever rise to the bait, don't ever interact with them, and always remember they LIVE for the fighting, so don't give it to them.

Speaking of Texas and lawsuits, Shawn Tuma, who's firm is in that state, has an informative hour-long presentation video about social media laws on youtube. I've only watched about half of it, but the man certainly knows his stuff and explains it so even I can understand it. That alone is quite a feat.

I have read different accounts as to what the pay is: $16k total, $16k for the first three episodes, or $25k total. It is not clear to me if CA pays for all their living expenses on top of the cash.

There were enough signs of abuse on the show, let alone Kate's own journal:. the stiff cardboard stick, the looks of fear, Mady's mention of spanking a tup on a talk show, the kids hitting one another to an unusual degree, even the long naps and not getting them up for hours till after her prepared coffee...I don't doubt it at all. The degree of abuse in the journal via RH was stomach- churning.And we know she abused/neglected the dogs.
I think it just comes down to both refusing to understand what child abuse really is, which is clearly much more complex then simply taking a switch to a child, and also denial that there are some concerning and dysfunctional things going on in this family and have been for years. Even if you discount every story we've heard, what has been captured on film alone is child abuse.
What's ironic is that at least in California, it's actually much easier to keep your kids if it's just physical abuse. It's the emotional abuse, the drugs and neglect, and things like that are harder to quantify or "connect" to actual abuse (in the law we call this a nexus to abuse) that the law tends to come down harder on.
I tend to compare Kate's dead twitter to Leeza and Brandi's active ones just cause I feel like they're all sort of on the same spectrum. Hopefully Leeza and Brandi won't take offense to that. :)
Here's a sampling. Brandi just tweeted to the Real Housewives thanking them for their support for her on CA. I'm guessing they donated. She also had a bunch of tweets about her son Mason who had an allergic reaction when he came to visit her and had to go to the hospital. She talked about how scared she was but that he's just fine now. All the fans were chiming in with their well wishes.
Leeza is retweeting about fans with special needs and nice things like that. As well as her son Nate coming to visit, and tweeting about some great burgers they had including a pic.
Quite honestly, I don't see Brandi and Leeza as ALL that much more famous than Kate. Leeza has marginally more followers than Kate but not by much. We're splitting hairs here. Yet they are both easily able to maintain a very lively and active twitter party during this experience, somehow.

I have another question that is weighing more heavily on me. Why hasn't Kate publicly broken ties with this sordid organization and APOLOGIZED to all the people she hurt by aligning herself with them?
Her alliance with them terrorized a lot of people, including me. She encouraged their behavior, called them her heroes. She felt that "outing" was something to be proud of. Remember when they blackmailed me with my personal information unless I apologized, and then outed me ANYWAY?
I apologized. Now it's Kate's turn. Woman up.
I said it long before she ever took up with them, her judgment is terrible. She is not a good judge of character, probably because she has no idea what good character is if it hit her in the face. She can't tell a good person from a bad. She can't tell who is out to use her and who is not. She's clueless that this organization preyed on her and used her. This cluelessness led to utter disaster when she took up with the likes of them. She makes poor decisions and owes everyone she hurt an apology. I must say, though, that when that tweet was made public, there were some that didn't believe she really sent it because of the grammar..."Me and Bullyville will provide..." Since then, though, we've seen in her tweets that she does use "Me and ..." as the sentence subjects, or "Myself and my kids..." so it's possible that it did come from her.

Oh, absolutely. She can't think. She leaps first with no idea what the consequences would be. However, she has Steve as her "road manager" or whatever the heck he is. OT: Matt & Amy Roloff . I was watching an recent old episode, and I can she why those 2 are split. This was the one in which Matt wanted to expand the farm, Amy was against it. She even gave her reasons not to expand, and of course, Matt was about to have a hissy fit, the nobody wants to do what I want crap. Not taking in, that they are not 20-30, they are in their 50's, most people do not want to owe money, on anything or take on new projects. I see Amy, wanting to relax, and enjoy what they already have, do some travel(without cameras) and wait for grandkids. Matt, thinks if he stops the world dies. But, Amy in the end, not of her liking, but wanting to keep the peace, signed, for the property. She was not happy. I would have stood my ground and said NO!. But, Matt and the bank & the seller were there and Matt, kind of made a fool of her, it was like: 3 men to one woman, and Matt was forcing her to sign. I think I would not have signed and I might have slapped him for making, look foolish for not wanting to signing. According to Amy they are on the verge of bankruptcy. That is why they are still doing more shows. And to rub it further in Amy face, Matt called all the relatives over to celebrate, his getting the other farm. Matt also thinks that his kids are going to want to work the farm. So far, none of the kids are showing any interest in working the farm. I commented on a recent post about an old HBO series called THHe Comeback. It was created by, and stars Lisa Kudrow. It is a fake reality show that shows the behind the scenes activities, of a reality show documenting a one-time sit-com star's attempt to make a comeback, 10 years later.
It is hysterically funny, because she remembers all of the VIP treatment she once had. Lisa Kudrow is brilliant in it, and for those of us watching this sad saga, it is a nice respite. I am quite sure that it is pretty close to the reality of reality shows, with retakes, direction and prompting from the producers. A must see! Lisa is trying to bring back a second season.

Looks like they were doing a project for Luvo. Leeza seems to be dressed as an airline stewardess, and Luvo products are provided on Delta Airlines. The men were definitely doing something for Luvo.

I think this twitter silence is 100% proof that she cares nothing about her fans and ONLY uses twitter to advance her own agenda, which is promote herself and her kids. They took on another farm. Most people at this age are wanting to downsize, not add on. The kids, seem to be not interested in taking over the farm. One twin lives in CA, the daughter lives at school, the other twin, is trying to find himself, and does not want to live near or with mom & dad, and Jacob is the youngest. Matt wants to leave the farm to the kids, which is fine, if they were interested in running it. They are not. Matt does not ask them, he does stuff then tells them about it. I would be mad too. One of the shows, about the wedding stuff, Matt had this grand plan, and figured the kids will come home on break and work the wedding. He got mad cause the kids had plans of their own. Never asked them. Just dumps on them. I'm surprised that Amy put up with things as long as, she did. I would have dumped him long ago, or said no! We are not going into debt, at this stage in life.
I think an unsophisticated blog owner got scared and may have turned over information in a panic. If so, that was not only the wrong thing to do, but could open the owner to being liable for any damage caused by revealing that info.

I'm doubtful an actual attorney looked at that subpoena. Any competent attorney would do one of two things: 1) look to see that the case was actually real and on file in some court, see that the proper individuals were served with proper notice that their records were being sought, made sure an actual copy service was used to serve the subpoena and arrange for copying of any records, etc. or 2) realize that said attorney isn't familiar enough with the law regarding subpoenas, civil lawsuits, etc., and recommend an attorney who would know the law in that regard. In the meantime, the attorney would have said "don't release any info." That's what a competent attorney would have done.
My personal opinion is that a competent attorney did not review that subpoena.

I just looked it up. If that comes from Wiki, it might be incorrect. Other sources, such as IMDB has it listed as September 17,1964 in Michigan, which means she will be 50 in September of this year. It's not important, though, and regardless, in the Matt/Amy saga, there are two sides to every story.

Admin, with all due respect, Leeza has been working in the entertainment industry for at least 3 decades, 2 of them nationally (Entertainment Tonight and others). She's right up there with Mary Hart in the fame department and they have both very worked hard all these years. Kate's not famous; she's infamous. Leeza is known everywhere as a friendly, kind face on countless entertainment shows, talk shows, awards shows, etc. Kate is marginally known as a bitch face on everything she does. Not if it's genetic. I've seen 30-something women, whose mothers have turkey necks, who look worse than Kate. I've also seen 80 year-olds whose necks are as smooth as a baby's rear end. If it doesn't come from plastic surgery and it's a curse passed down through the generations, there's not much she can do about it except add it to her list of additional work to get done.

I disagree. Many people in their 50s are in their prime financially and are still passionately investing, taking risks and growing their portfolios. If left to Amy who was resistant to all of the expansions, their farm would today consist of nothing more than the original run down farmhouse on just a few acres of unproductive land.
Yes, Matt has grand ideas and he often doesn't listen to others but he's been an astute businessman, hard worker and has grown their wealth far beyond anything they ever imagined a few years ago. I agree. Many folks that age are investing. They've earned their money to do what they want to do and now they can do it. That many times means starting new business ventures or expanding what they already have. Just because they might be in their 50s doesn't by any means indicate that they are ready for retirement, AARP, downsizing, or ordering off the senior citizens supper menu.

She's always struck me as disingenuous when it comes to her look. This NY/LA fried look is not her. She is a lipgloss and moisturizer and sweat pants woman. And that's fine, so are lots of women. But stop trying to be what you're not and what's worse using the kids to maintain the pricey look.

Maybe it's just the natural light that makes it look bad. When they are in the boardroom, the make up artists always do an excellent job on all the women. This new show, coming on the heels of her claims she has lost everything, is particularly tasteless and reeks of needing a buck. Her husband cheated? Poor Tori. Is this how his ex-wife felt when Tori was the other woman that ended that marriage. Oh, that was love. I feel sorry for those poor kids, especially the next to youngest who hardly saw her mother during her first year of life since mommy was hospitalized with a high risk surprise pregnancy. Perhaps it has been hard times for Tori, but do you really need to film it for reality tv? How can this be good for the children? And she's scary thin - it will be even worse for the kids if both parents end up in rehab.

When I first saw that photo of her (paparazzi dance) she reminded me of Bette Davis in What Ever Happened to Baby Jane. I can only imagine what she is going to look like in ten years. She will be broke, the twins will be 23 and the sextuplets will be 18. I'll bet my last dime that ALL of the kids will be gone. She will have no friends, family or life partner. Kate won't even have the money to maintain the lifestyle that she has become accustomed to. She sure as hell won't be able to afford the maintenance on the kids house, never mind the additional plastic surgery she going to need. The good news is she will still have ALL of HER memories. I think my thing is that look doesn't look good to me whether its in a Getty photo or in the boardroom. I think these people look way over-cooked. Not just Kate, all of them. It's too much makeup, it's too much lighting, it's too much bleach, it's too much bright colors.

Yes. When I left the house at 7 a.m., it was 44 degrees and chilly. I needed a warm jacket, and I imagine it was even cooler in NYC.
Yes PA, I've gotten used to grabbing a jacket in the morning and tossing it aside hours later!
A misconception about L.A. is that it is always warm. Well, it's usually always warm if it's 2 p.m. But the nights and mornings can be CHILLY! The nights only warm up into the 60s-70s for about two months late in summer. The rest of the time you always need a jacket and in the winter, hats and gloves, if you're going to be anywhere outside once the sun has gone down. I have almost as many winter clothes here as I did in PA because I need them for the nights. I wear winter pajamas 7 months out of the year.

TFW's worn a solitaire diamond necklace for years. The first couple were given to her by her manager (small first one and then a larger one, iirc, a year later). Whether she's still wearing the original or if she's upgraded is anyone's guess.
I have no idea of what the significance of the diamond necklace is, but on a fan site the necklace is supposedly from her sister, Christen Largent, a self-taught metal smith, who sells on Etsy. If you look at her jewelry style which is organic looking, the diamond necklace no way resembles anything Largent creates and she doesn't appear to use diamonds either, so I think that most likely the necklace is a gift Kate bought for herself (I bet at Tiffany's). She has been wearing the necklace since before the divorce. I haven't read much into it because we all have favorite pieces of jewelry. I like the necklace and would love one myself.
Brandi is wearing stilettos while it appears that TFW is rocking a pair of patent leather mom heels along with her padded coat. We know that she clamps rather than walking nimbly when in semi-stilettos so maybe she had to wear the mom heels.
As far as free water and free salads go, I can't really get worked up about it. Quasi-celebrities like TFW have been getting freebies forever. If it's just randomly offered by a company (as the salad apparently was) it's no big deal. What I do take exception to is when TFW blatantly grifts for freebies that she can afford to buy (Northern TP, Starbucks, Keurig, Coffee Mate and Chipotle come to mind). She loves, loves, loves the products until she doesn't get any more freebies and then she never mentions them again. I think the salad was just a random offer and people got worked up over nothing. And as Forrest Gump would say "that's all I have to say about that".

Yes, I read here too but almost never post anymore. But since I've been mentioned directly I'd like to respond.
I'm aware of how many here feel about non-fans posting on Kate's TL which is, of course, your right. We all express our views about Kate in a way which suits us best. I've even seen posters here at times say, "gee, I wish someone would tweet this or that to Kate", so I don't really see tweeting/posting as an all or nothing kind of thing.
There was a back story off Kate's timeline where a fan was tweeting the riot act and going on & on to/about another non-fan re: "saladgate" so there was a reason for my comment. I'll not get into the details but wanted to clear up any misconceptions. If the objection is that the tweets were on Kate's TL well then, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

I think it has to be down as a teen and in stages. I've only known a few people that had it down and they were in jr high. Since she still has the off centered teeth I think they've done all they can to fix it as an adult.
I never cared for looks in any of her stages and I find it stupid to try and look like a bimbo barbie when she wanted "china" dolls for children. Nothing like making your children feel "other". Why hasn't any real newsworthy organization picked up on Kate's alliance with Bullyville? I guess it's because she is on no one's radar if you don't actively look for stories on her. In daily life, network tv, gossip shows, she's never mentioned unless she pulls a good one, like the Today Show. The one day of "press" for for CA and Pie Face, that's been it. Maybe the show will never air. I can't stand the Donald, and don't watch the show. I'd look for youtube clips of Kate making an ass of herself or admin's wonderful recaps. On a side note, surprised there has been no sightings from the Wernersvillle locals of who is with the kids, who is taking them to the bus stop, if they're around town more with Jon. I sure hope they are spending the majority of their time with him. Those kids sure do deserve a break from her and her minions that enforce "her rules". No sighting of her in NYC, must be really boring in a hotel with just her and Steve. If thereare any dinners out as a group, is he by her side as her date, not in the background like a real bodyguard, like at the cocktail table at the Brad Garrett show. Layla, congrats on finding a great paying part time job. They aren't easy to come by. Hopefully it gives you the best of both worlds. Yes, I read here too but almost never post anymore. But since I've been mentioned directly I'd like to respond.
I'm aware of how many here feel about non-fans posting on Kate's TL which is, of course, your right. We all express our views about Kate in a way which suits us best. I've even seen posters here at times say, "gee, I wish someone would tweet this or that to Kate", so I don't really see tweeting/posting as an all or nothing kind of thing.
There was a back story off Kate's timeline where a fan was tweeting the riot act and going on & on to/about another non-fan re: "saladgate" so there was a reason for my comment. I'll not get into the details but wanted to clear up any misconceptions. If the objection is that the tweets were on Kate's TL well then, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

My advice to FrankieCee on twitter would be to just step away from that group of Kate's fans. They will draw out the controversy for days and weeks until the next one comes along. and they will constantly try and drag her back into battles by commenting on any & everything she tweets about. For them, it's not about Kate, it's about the battle. If you just walk away from their insanity, then they have nothing but their own bullcrap to rehash. That sheeple is really "out there". She comes up with the most ridiculous, outrageous explanations for everything that happens, then calls the non-fans liars. IIRC, she is the sheeple who insisted that Kate left TLC because she was uncomfortable with all the drama. But TFW was tweeting right up to the end that she'd do as many episodes as TLC would give her. It's obvious who dumped who there, but Z always has to make it seem like TFW is the one in control. She is right up there with Milo when it comes to delusional fanatics. And they're all still convinced that BV is going to come riding in on a white horse, bring all the non-fans to their knees, and TFW wll emerge triumphant. They think TFW will get a new show, become a huge star, and all the non-fans' lives will be ruined because of it. 20 years from now, when TFW and BV are long forgotten, they will still be waiting for lawsuits and TFW's glorious return to TV.
I have read different accounts as to what the pay is: $16k total, $16k for the first three episodes, or $25k total. It is not clear to me if CA pays for all their living expenses on top of the cash.

There were enough signs of abuse on the show, let alone Kate's own journal:. the stiff cardboard stick, the looks of fear, Mady's mention of spanking a tup on a talk show, the kids hitting one another to an unusual degree, even the long naps and not getting them up for hours till after her prepared coffee...I don't doubt it at all. The degree of abuse in the journal via RH was stomach- churning.And we know she abused/neglected the dogs.
I think it just comes down to both refusing to understand what child abuse really is, which is clearly much more complex then simply taking a switch to a child, and also denial that there are some concerning and dysfunctional things going on in this family and have been for years. Even if you discount every story we've heard, what has been captured on film alone is child abuse.
What's ironic is that at least in California, it's actually much easier to keep your kids if it's just physical abuse. It's the emotional abuse, the drugs and neglect, and things like that are harder to quantify or "connect" to actual abuse (in the law we call this a nexus to abuse) that the law tends to come down harder on.
I tend to compare Kate's dead twitter to Leeza and Brandi's active ones just cause I feel like they're all sort of on the same spectrum. Hopefully Leeza and Brandi won't take offense to that. :)
Here's a sampling. Brandi just tweeted to the Real Housewives thanking them for their support for her on CA. I'm guessing they donated. She also had a bunch of tweets about her son Mason who had an allergic reaction when he came to visit her and had to go to the hospital. She talked about how scared she was but that he's just fine now. All the fans were chiming in with their well wishes.
Leeza is retweeting about fans with special needs and nice things like that. As well as her son Nate coming to visit, and tweeting about some great burgers they had including a pic.
Quite honestly, I don't see Brandi and Leeza as ALL that much more famous than Kate. Leeza has marginally more followers than Kate but not by much. We're splitting hairs here. Yet they are both easily able to maintain a very lively and active twitter party during this experience, somehow.
Why hasn't any real newsworthy organization picked up on Kate's alliance with Bullyville?~~~~If BV goes down you can rest assured that US, TMZ or some other rag mag/show will pick up on it. After all, the haters make millions selling stories to them.

I have another question that is weighing more heavily on me. Why hasn't Kate publicly broken ties with this sordid organization and APOLOGIZED to all the people she hurt by aligning herself with them?
Her alliance with them terrorized a lot of people, including me. She encouraged their behavior, called them her heroes. She felt that "outing" was something to be proud of. Remember when they blackmailed me with my personal information unless I apologized, and then outed me ANYWAY?
I apologized. Now it's Kate's turn. Woman up.
I said it long before she ever took up with them, her judgment is terrible. She is not a good judge of character, probably because she has no idea what good character is if it hit her in the face. She can't tell a good person from a bad. She can't tell who is out to use her and who is not. She's clueless that this organization preyed on her and used her. This cluelessness led to utter disaster when she took up with the likes of them. She makes poor decisions and owes everyone she hurt an apology. Not taking in, that they are not 20-30, they are in their 50's, most people do not want to owe money, on anything or take on new projects. I see Amy, wanting to relax, and enjoy what they already have, do some travel(without cameras) and wait for grandkids. Matt, thinks if he stops the world dies. But, Amy in the end, not of her liking, but wanting to keep the peace, signed, for the property. She was not happy. I would have stood my ground and said NO!. But, Matt and the bank & the seller were there and Matt, kind of made a fool of her, it was like: 3 men to one woman, and Matt was forcing her to sign. I think I would not have signed and I might have slapped him for making, look foolish for not wanting to signing. According to Amy they are on the verge of bankruptcy. That is why they are still doing more shows. And to rub it further in Amy face, Matt called all the relatives over to celebrate, his getting the other farm. I commented on a recent post about an old HBO series called THHe Comeback. It was created by, and stars Lisa Kudrow. It is a fake reality show that shows the behind the scenes activities, of a reality show documenting a one-time sit-com star's attempt to make a comeback, 10 years later.
It is hysterically funny, because she remembers all of the VIP treatment she once had. Lisa Kudrow is brilliant in it, and for those of us watching this sad saga, it is a nice respite. I am quite sure that it is pretty close to the reality of reality shows, with retakes, direction and prompting from the producers. A must see! Lisa is trying to bring back a second season.

I think this twitter silence is 100% proof that she cares nothing about her fans and ONLY uses twitter to advance her own agenda, which is promote herself and her kids. I saw those pictures of Kate with Leeza on the Getty images site. I think she is so self-absorbed with CA and all the attention, tweeting is the last thing on her mind. She was smiling nicely in them, looking off to her left, so someone must have been filming. And I can guess as to how she spends any down time: shopping and massages.
BTW, she's been for years tweeting Donald Trump so this has been a long time coming. No surprise. They took on another farm. Most people at this age are wanting to downsize, not add on. The kids, seem to be not interested in taking over the farm. One twin lives in CA, the daughter lives at school, the other twin, is trying to find himself, and does not want to live near or with mom & dad, and Jacob is the youngest. Matt wants to leave the farm to the kids, which is fine, if they were interested in running it. They are not. Matt does not ask them, he does stuff then tells them about it. I would be mad too. One of the shows, about the wedding stuff, Matt had this grand plan, and figured the kids will come home on break and work the wedding. He got mad cause the kids had plans of their own. Never asked them. Just dumps on them. I'm surprised that Amy put up with things as long as, she did. I would have dumped him long ago, or said no! We are not going into debt, at this stage in life.

I don't know if it was her husband that was an attorney, or if it was said that an attorney looked at the subpoena. I'm doubtful an actual attorney looked at that subpoena. Any competent attorney would do one of two things: 1) look to see that the case was actually real and on file in some court, see that the proper individuals were served with proper notice that their records were being sought, made sure an actual copy service was used to serve the subpoena and arrange for copying of any records, etc. or 2) realize that said attorney isn't familiar enough with the law regarding subpoenas, civil lawsuits, etc., and recommend an attorney who would know the law in that regard. In the meantime, the attorney would have said "don't release any info." That's what a competent attorney would have done.
My personal opinion is that a competent attorney did not review that subpoena.

I just looked it up. If that comes from Wiki, it might be incorrect. Other sources, such as IMDB has it listed as September 17,1964 in Michigan, which means she will be 50 in September of this year. I agree. Many folks that age are investing. They've earned their money to do what they want to do and now they can do it. That many times means starting new business ventures or expanding what they already have. She's always struck me as disingenuous when it comes to her look. This NY/LA fried look is not her. She is a lipgloss and moisturizer and sweat pants woman. And that's fine, so are lots of women. But stop trying to be what you're not and what's worse using the kids to maintain the pricey look.
I must be blind because I don't see what everyone else sees. I think the red lipstick will probably look good when the cameras are rolling on her. Maybe it's just the natural light that makes it look bad. When they are in the boardroom, the make up artists always do an excellent job on all the women. I am pretty confident she will look good in there along with the others. I still can't stand her though. LOL.

Tori Spelling. Meh. She has been selling her family to reality tv for bucks for years now. This new show, coming on the heels of her claims she has lost everything, is particularly tasteless and reeks of needing a buck. Her husband cheated? Poor Tori. Is this how his ex-wife felt when Tori was the other woman that ended that marriage. Oh, that was love. I feel sorry for those poor kids, especially the next to youngest who hardly saw her mother during her first year of life since mommy was hospitalized with a high risk surprise pregnancy. Perhaps it has been hard times for Tori, but do you really need to film it for reality tv? How can this be good for the children? When I first saw that photo of her (paparazzi dance) she reminded me of Bette Davis in What Ever Happened to Baby Jane. I can only imagine what she is going to look like in ten years. She will be broke, the twins will be 23 and the sextuplets will be 18. I'll bet my last dime that ALL of the kids will be gone. She will have no friends, family or life partner.
Kate won't even have the money to maintain the lifestyle that she has become accustomed to. She sure as hell won't be able to afford the maintenance on the kids house, never mind the additional plastic surgery she going to need.

I think my thing is that look doesn't look good to me whether its in a Getty photo or in the boardroom. I think these people look way over-cooked. Not just Kate, all of them. It's too much makeup, it's too much lighting, it's too much bleach, it's too much bright colors.
I respect Leeza and have nothing bad to say about her as a person so far, but the caked on makeup and obvious surgery and bleach streaked hair and that L.A. look everyone has is not attractive whatsoever to me.
Someone like Julia Roberts, who while she may have had some work done it's subtle, is so much more appealing IMO. She looks fresh, soft, light, and not over-processed. How this look fell out of fashion is beyond my comprehension.

Yes. When I left the house at 7 a.m., it was 44 degrees and chilly. I needed a warm jacket, and I imagine it was even cooler in NYC.
Yes PA, I've gotten used to grabbing a jacket in the morning and tossing it aside hours later!
A misconception about L.A. is that it is always warm. Well, it's usually always warm if it's 2 p.m. But the nights and mornings can be CHILLY! The nights only warm up into the 60s-70s for about two months late in summer. The rest of the time you always need a jacket and in the winter, hats and gloves, if you're going to be anywhere outside once the sun has gone down. I have almost as many winter clothes here as I did in PA because I need them for the nights. I wear winter pajamas 7 months out of the year.

It's interesting that since publicity started for CA most articles about Brandi have her mentioned w/TFW.
I think the pairing of the two of them may be having some potentially unwanted results for TFW because a number of Brandi's fans are now chiming in on twitter and in tab comments about their dislike of TFW. Gotta luv it!
I've just finished episode 10 of the BBC Apprentice & I think it's one of the best episodes so far. I've read that later seasons don't quite measure up, but I'm still looking forward to watching.

THIS!!!!!! And it has not worked to get her what she wants!!!! Don't these women ever get a clue?? Some of them, and K8 especially, will never be thin enough, blond enough, boobed-out enough, botoxed enough, *young* enough, to grab that particular brass ring because they *still* do not have the right "It Factor".
If she looked around enough to see who is sitting in those talk show chairs, she would have to admit - it's not the look she's been chasing.

It's tough when you are in your 30's-40's to see your youth slipping away, but what these women are doing with the extreme plastic and long blond hair is unnatural and frankly, hideous. I see nothing wrong with a little tweeking (I did Juvederm as my Xmas present to myself), but I gotta laugh when I see Kate and the others look like drag queens because they are NOT attractive 20 something's. They cannot compete. It's over. The 20 something's are laughing at them. Maybe they are told by Hollywood it's a sexy look, but to me they look more rough that fresh.
Has anyone else noticed the necklace that Kate wears ALL the time. I don't recall ever seeing her wear anything but that necklace. If I was a betting woman I'd say that was a gift from Steve and that's why she always wears it.

Yes, I've noticed it it's a diamond. I wondered if she turned her engagement ring into a necklace but she probably would sell it, not wear it since it was from Jon now that I think of it.

The QVC episode! That ghastly wolf jacket. LOL yes that was the best episode of the whole season. I was riveted. I just finished the whole season yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you, England.

TFW's worn a solitaire diamond necklace for years. The first couple were given to her by her manager (small first one and then a larger one, iirc, a year later). Whether she's still wearing the original or if she's upgraded is anyone's guess.
I have no idea of what the significance of the diamond necklace is, but on a fan site the necklace is supposedly from her sister, Christen Largent, a self-taught metal smith, who sells on Etsy. If you look at her jewelry style which is organic looking, the diamond necklace no way resembles anything Largent creates and she doesn't appear to use diamonds either, so I think that most likely the necklace is a gift Kate bought for herself (I bet at Tiffany's). She has been wearing the necklace since before the divorce. I haven't read much into it because we all have favorite pieces of jewelry. I like the necklace and would love one myself.
Brandi , Kevin, Geraldo, Shawn, Leeza, Kenya have all tweeted a promo about tomorrow's bridal task. Nothing from Kate.
Brandi is wearing stilettos while it appears that TFW is rocking a pair of patent leather mom heels along with her padded coat. We know that she clamps rather than walking nimbly when in semi-stilettos so maybe she had to wear the mom heels.

As far as free water and free salads go, I can't really get worked up about it. Quasi-celebrities like TFW have been getting freebies forever. If it's just randomly offered by a company (as the salad apparently was) it's no big deal. What I do take exception to is when TFW blatantly grifts for freebies that she can afford to buy (Northern TP, Starbucks, Keurig, Coffee Mate and Chipotle come to mind). She loves, loves, loves the products until she doesn't get any more freebies and then she never mentions them again. I think the salad was just a random offer and people got worked up over nothing. And as Forrest Gump would say "that's all I have to say about that".
Off to work and TGIF...this has been a long week.
