In an interview (I think it was Ellen) Kate was asked if she was going to get the children cars when the time came. Kate replied, no, the children have to work to get their own cars.
Kate's response is so off base. As Mady said in Wife Safe "all I've every known is work".
I hope no one is gullible enough (sheeple) to think that photo wasn't completely set up by Kate...even the wording sounds like her. I'm sure she gave (the nanny) whoever it was permission to post that photo. Shes too obvious.....Theres NO WAY she would let anyone post a picture of her kids. This is completely orchestrated by that child exploiter.
I don't think the photo was set up by TFW. The tweeter travels extensively on business and is staying in a hotel in NYC right now (somewhere near Central Park). While I think the photo was random I'm leaning toward thinking she has TFW's blessing for posting it. TFW doing CA was supposed to be about her rehabing her image so visits from her smiling kids plays right into that image.
Question- would Kate really not be allowed 2 days to go home to PA and see her kids?
I think it's great that they are seeing Kate and NYC, but I don't believe she is completely unable to get 48 hours to go home.
They get only 1 day/week off from filming so the most she's been able to be home has been, by my calculation, 1 overnite per week.
I wonder if Kate will go back to PA at any point before she's fired.
She was spotted near home 2 weekends ago at a DSW shopping for shoes.
I think they'll have more time off this coming weekend because of Good Friday and Easter and I wonder if TFW go home to be with the kids or will she treat herself to more hotel/restaurant pampering in NYC.
Besides the 8 kids, don't you wonder who's managing the household? Shoka, Zorro, the chickens? Lawn care? Paying bills? Can the

I agree Call Me Crazy, I'm rarely one for conspiracy theories but the wording of the tweet is highly suspicious. If it were authentic I would expect something more along the lines of "omg so random I just bumped into those Kate plus 8 kids!" Instead we get someone bending over backwards with adjectives to describe how perfect they are and to top it off a goodmom hashtag just to make sure we understand this is all because if Kate? Huh?? Who thinks like that when bumping into celeb kids? And is it likely the vast majority of folks would even recognize them as anything other than a school group? Then she goes so far as to find Kate's twitter handle? Nice try Kate but I don't buy this one.

So my curiosity got the better of me and I ventured over to look at the photo. In the comments, someone posted to the Sarah person that she should never post photos of other people's kids without permission and that it is wrong. Sarah responded with this:

No, Sarah meant that the pug was her girl because some questioned if TFW bought a pug. If you look at the pug's eyes she doesn't seem too thrilled about being held. I agree that the whole tweet seems suspicious.

The kids may not be filming for CA but they could be filming for their TLC update special doing fun things that normally their mother would never take them to do. That way TLC would have something more interesting than just playing and working at the compound for filming. She would do it if TLC footed the bill to transport them to and from, hotel, and all other expenses.
You can find other random encounters with celeb kids on twitter. They go like this: just saw Shiloh Pitt, she walks like she's boss (pic from 30 feet away). Aw bumped into Katie Holmes, Suri Cruise is so polite and sweet! (Nothing about that being due to her mother).
There are of course tons of others just like those.

Put me in the camp that thinks this photo was staged. When I read the overly gushy TFW-praising tweet, I immediately thought that it sounded like something TFW or Milo would say. The both of them are always saying that anyone who meets the kids thinks they're so polite, happy, and nice. The tweet said that and made sure to credit TFW and tell her she should be proud. It just seems so strange that a random encounter in the park would have someone tweeting the exact agenda that TFW is always pushing.
Also, WHY wasn't TFW enjoying the lovely spring day with the kids in the park? Wasn't the purpose of the kids going to NYC so they could visit with her? If she wasn't there it seems like a case of TFW not wanting to be bothered with them at the hotel and sending the nanny off to the park to get them out of her hair.
I suspect the only reason she had the kids go to NY to see her is because they're relatively close by and she has no excuse when the other people on the show have had their kids fly there from CA to see them.
Also, WHY wasn't Skeeve with the kids?? I would think that watching over eight quasi-celebrity kids in Central Park would be more important than sitting in a hotel "guarding" TFW's body.

I agree with you - but unfortunately in this day and age, people often fail to use basic common sense. The closest I've come to taking photographs of a celebrity are during Spring Training in Arizona, when my son and I go to see the Giants. We love them! So of course, I do try to snap a photo when they are walking from the parking lot to the building, or when they are out on the field warming up, etc. But those are known professional sports figures.
The loss of the Gosselin children's privacy has long been an issue for me and one of the reasons I am so against children being filmed for a reality tv show. The boundaries get blurred between them being children versus being seen as semi-celebrities.
I guess we will know whether this was staged or not if Kate asks her delete the picture. If she doesn't, that will be the answer.

I take photos in public all the time, and at one time, posted on a blog. I am always very careful NOT to aim my lens at a child, lest it look suspicious.
A stranger taking photos of kids is creepy, but again, with the Gosselins, they are public figures at this point.
Still, I wouldn't whip out my phone to take a photo, and that photo WAS NOT candid.
There was nothing stealthy about it, so whatever adult was with them, absolutely let it happen.
Or, they weren't paying attention.
The litmus test here will be if Kate asks or tells the Tweeter to take the photo down...

There was another person there when the photo was taken because someone is holding the dog's lease off to the side. I believe this person, Sarah, is just a Kate fan because in her twitter exchanges, she refers to the ones who criticize her as "trolls". Whoever was with the kids gave permission for the photo. Could have been Kate with instructions not to mention seeing her (with Steve, LOL). At first I thought they were out with a nanny, but the nanny would not be able to give permission to tweet a photo, so I am now of the opinion it was Kate and Steve with the tups. Based on previous encounters with the public, I think it's fairly safe to assume that Skeeve wouldn't have allowed that photo had he been there. Then again, this all might be just the start of promoting the kids for the upcoming special. Either way, it stinks because the kids are either not being protected or are being used. Lol, the only one I can think of would be Baby Mama. BM came to one of Kate's book signings, but that would have been 2008. I thought at some point Jon made reference to that signing and how BM thoroughly creeped Kate out. Could explain why Kate has been so mean to her.
2007 sounds too early for them to have had rabid fans or any fans. They had a couple specials at that point, my guess is that random people might have started showing up at their house. When you put R life on tv, I can't imagine why people would do that....

The part that bothers me is the kids had to go to NY to see her instead of her coming home. She has no instincts as a mother to protect her kids (and I don't mean the photo). Due to traffic, it takes a few hours to get to NYC from their house. They have to pack for the weekend and hopefully remember to pack everything needed for homework. Their whole schedule is disrupted. By the end of the weekend back at home, your average 10 yr old is really tired and probably cranky. The twins can handle the travel better but are more likely to resent having to travel. Yes, NYC is fun and interesting but I don't think TFW lets them sightsee. And any sightseeing is tiring too. Then they go back to school tired and not ready to learn.
She could easily travel back and forth in a limo. She could get comfortable and sleep. The kids could stay in their own beds. But she would never inconvenience herself if she can accomplish the same by inconveniencing others. Even her own kids.
I think there may have been some very disturbing things that happened with some fans. That could include phone calls, showing up at the house, and approaching the family in public. The thing is we'll never know exactly what happened because it's not good form to paint the fans for exactly what they are, creeps. Because when all is said and done you depend on fans. Even if most of your fans behave appropriately you don't want to offend them by disclosing some don't.

I agree, but owning a dog to be fair I've learned that a lot of kids are like this. There are a lot of parents out there not teaching them proper dog etiquette. I use it as an opportunity to gently guide them in how to approaching a dog.
I have an 11 pound dog who is a kid magnet. Many kids will "swarm" him, put their face right up to his, hug him, just like Collin did to the pug. At that point I will say let him sniff you, hold out your hand and let him sniff you, that's how dogs shake hands with you! Now gently pet him, good job, that's how dogs meet! Always ask the owner if he's friendly before you approach, okay?
It's not that my dog would ever so much as nip anyone, however, the next dog they encounter might and unless you teach them that's not an appropriate way to treat a dog you don't know they may get hurt someday.
And there's that freak Ziggy encouraging Sarah to post the video. Wtf? How do they even know Kate was okay with this? Historically she has NOT been! For all we know Kate wasn't there. For all we know Kate was there but didn't realize the fan was videotaping. It's hard to tell these days. For all we know even if Kate did know Kate never told her she could post it to twitter. I figured I was just an over-protective, Mama Grizzly, but I couldn't believe the lack of supervision when those kids were toddlers and later, especially riding around in the driveway. In addition, when they were filming, she was always ahead of them and took it for granted that someone was watching those kids. It used to drive me crazy, especially at amusement parks. If I had eight kids, I'd be constantly counting to make sure everyone was there and safe, even if there caregivers there...I'd probably fall asleep counting kids instead of sheep. Then again, counting sheep is a scary thought.

If someone else is paying, Kate could give two shiz about what's best for the kids. She would have to actually possess basic maternal instincts to know that it's very hard on kids to do so much traveling in such a short time. She doesn't care. Donald is paying.

Interesting to note that they were able to navigate a public outing without a mob scene occurring (as Kate has claimed in the past), or there would be more photos and possible videos. This makes me suspicious that this was arranged by the Kate, (perhaps the poster is a friend of Deanna's?). The girls were even dresses alike in jeans with the same t-shirts in different colors. I'm not sure if the boys were dressed alike though, one boy was in long sleeves, but the two in short sleeves could have been in the same t-shirt in different colors too, but I can't tell for sure since you can't see the front of the shirts in the video.

I'm in for this theory. Historically, people who approach Kate Gosselin and/or her children for an unauthorized photo get a very rude awakening. In the form of Steve demanding them to hand the camera over so he can delete the photos (illegal) or him demanding the owner delete them while he glares.
Why would Kate allow a random stranger come up to her kids in Central Park and let them take photos and video of the kids? She wouldn't. Unless there was something in it for her. Children's services will snatch your kids in a heartbeat if you leave babies and young children alone, even for a few minutes. It's not just cases of parents actually leaving the house, it's parents leaving the ROOM. Unless you have a child in a secure place like a crib, with no hazards, anything can and does happen. Next to drugs, that's the one thing they will get you on. You have a better chance beating the shit out of your child every day and claling them a POS every day than you do leaving them alone if something ever happens. Horror stories make the news often, like that New York mother who left her kids to go get milk and came back to the house burning down. They all died.

Yep. Plus this is NYC. Central Park no less. They are very used to celebs and celebs with their children. Central Park is for playing not accosting celebs and their children. You run a high risk of being chewed out by ANYONE if you approach a celeb's child much less start taking their photo and video. It would be unheard of. Cops might even be called. I just can't imagine anyone would do this (and sure enough no one did except HER.)
My understanding is that NY is like L.A. Generally people don't approach celebs. A pic from afar is acceptable, a tweet from afar is acceptable, and if they happen to approach you it's okay to say hi, but approaching is a no no and approaching to take pics of someone's children is lunacy. That's not to say it doesn't happen, but it's usually by the more aggressive paps, not random people on the street, and someone who frequents NY like she does would know better. Heck LA even has laws now about approaching celebrity children. In a nutshell, it's forbidden.
If you saw Sarah Jessica Parker out with her son who would have the GAL to approach her? I think 99% of people would be absolutely mortified to do such a thing and consider it highly inappropriate. I'm all for this was arranged by Deanna, it's just too perfect.

There's audio, and one of the kids is shouting at Leah to come see the pug the whole time. Bless their hearts, but I still think they are rather unruly and behave like a "pack". It's not their fault. No one has taught them to stop screaming and shouting at each other. If you want Leah to come over, you either calmly call her, or you calmly walk over to her and guide her over. LEAH LEAH LEAH!!!!! is not helpful, and no one is correcting whoever was saying that. I suppose that's what they hear form Kate all the time, shouting and barking orders to get over here.

TFW, we're all onto you and your pathetic games. Nice way to stage a photo and video in order to excite the bored sheeple who haven't been "treated" to any kid photos recently since you're busy in NY with CA (and, ahem, Skeeve).

Right? I guess I'm amazing...I let kids pet my dog all the time. I think the kids in the video seemed a little too "amazed" by the dog myself. Sure kids love to pet my dog but the tups acted like they had never seen a pug before. I think they are really enjoying their time out of the Konpound, which is great, but it's sad that it seems to be such a novelty to them.

A funny thing happened on the way to the clinic.
I was picked up this morning to go to the clinic in the ambulance and the driver was going about 5 mph and he was pulling out of the parking lot, turning left and the amb. went right and we were hanging over the really big ditch, half turned over.
I first thought he had hit a parked car and another one. The impact made the paramedic fly of the bench into the equipment and my gurney was almost going over, but it was locked and that kept me from going completely over.
The driver was beside himself. I told both of them that it was going to be okay, nobody got hurt. They had to call a tow truck to come and pull it out. They transferred me to another truck and on my way to the clinic.
Thank God none of us were hurt.
What seems odd to me, is usually when a random fan posts a picture of the kids, they will say, I saw the Gosselin kids with their dad or mom, and then will say where they were at, at the time. This time, no mention of who was with them or where the picture was taken at..it could have been a park anywhere.

So far, we have two of the Trump family businesses being promoted around the "challenges" on CA. We know of Ivanka's shoe line, now The Donald's golf course. Who knows the connection between Pie Face, the wedding store and Hooters, but this looks like one long ad campaign. This show is all about advertising, and the charity works are used to gain exposure for these companies. Trump is no fool, he has these D-listers shilling for him while lining his own pockets, he'll make more than all the charities combined, and then some!
It seems there are a lot of "celebs" still hanging around. I've never watched the show, but is it possible that ALL of them have to stay, to prevent spoilers? Sounds like something Frump would do, since he likes to pretend he's calling the shots.

Wow that is a great analysis of her surgeries and other enhancements. I feel like she took a photo of Kendra Wilkinson into the surgeon and said make me look like her.
I think this may be one of the single saddest things about this whole mess, aside from what was done to the children. It's that a pretty, fresh faced, bright eyed young woman could not be happy with her appearance and did not have the sort of good self-esteem and assurance to avoid succumbing to the pressures of Hollywood. She could have just gotten a better haircut, better makeup and clothes, ate better and worked out, and she'd look fine today. Instead she went under the knife, nipping and tucking here and there through the years, probably spent her children's money to do so, and what's the end result? She looks like every other cookie cutter plastic aging mess in Hollywood. She looks worse.
I think at the end of the day her nipped and tucked appearance is a reflection of a very empty jar of self-esteem, and for that I am sorry for her.

Let's say TFW was somewhere in the background of that video. If so, it's telling that none of the children engaged with her (I didn't see the video - just going by what I've read here). Something like, "Hey, Mom, look, the dog likes me! She's so cute! Come pet her!"

I've never been to that sheeple's blog -- have no desire to do so, and I don't have Twitter, but is this her MO? Is there something wrong with her, or is she a master baiter? Kate was NOT in the video, Ziggy. The only voice you can hear is that of the woman taking the video although in the background I could hear a man's voice, but it did not have an accent. I thought this could be a photo op, but really we may be reading more into this than what happened. She has a cute dog and the kids wanted to see it up close. Perhaps she did not even know who the kids were until whoever was with them told her and she decided to take a picture and video. I have no idea, but I think this is not worth the back and forth except that the kids (at least the tups) were in NYC. I think the nanny drove them up and was with them. Period. The nanny probably get her ass chewed out.

In this age of photoshop, it can be very difficult to tell if something that looks like a major procedure (e.g., a nose job) in a photo is real, or if it is, in fact, just overzealous photoshopping. Lighting makes a huge difference as well. I don't doubt TFW has had many, many cosmetic procedures; I am just not completely convinced about the rhinoplasty.

I have a pug She is the sweetest dog on earth. Not a mean bone in her body. Loves everyone!! Sweet little cuddler. There is one thing she HATES and that is being pulled into a tight squeeze. She hates it. We laugh about it , and will do it to her like we are hugging her but she squirms away. But that is US. I honestly don't think she would be harmful to a strange child but the point is YOU DONT KNOW WHAT A DOG WILL DO no matter how gentle and sweet. When the kid at the end of that video grabbed the pug it concerned me. You just don't do that to a dog you are not familiar with. Ughhh.

When I was c&p'n the link for the dancers, I had a feeling it was the one I had watched last night and I was right! They are incredible. David and Simon were rude to them at first when they came out. I have watched BGT for years. I have them subscribed and get the video links and there is incredible talent there and here of course. I also go to other Name Country Got Talent. I watched Paul Potts when he did his first audition. He is incredible! He was bullied growing up and now the bullies have to pay a huge ticket price to go hear him sing! Sweet Justice!
Even thou Paul Potts moved me, there is another one from South Korea's Got Talent. It is a young man who loves to sing and he had one of the worse childhoods ever. They checked it out and it was true. Parent dropped him off at an orphanage and he kept getting beaten and finally around 7 he escaped and lived on the streets and sold energy drinks and snacks to make money. Now he was a garbage man.

Most parents are really good with their kids, telling them to ask if they can pet our dog, or the kids just ask on their own, which is great to see.

Ha, Fleecing! I don't think anyone would photoshop a "fat" nose on someone, but it is very possible that if photoshopping was done in a previous photo to make a nose look thinner, later photos of the same nose would appear fatter. I just think some of the differences we are seeing in photos of TFW's nose do not necessarily point to a nose job. Now the botox and fillers are quite another story.

Absolutely. Had a random stranger filmed the kids (and tweeted it) petting a dog while Jon took them to the park, I believe that would be a red alert level event. They would go on for days and Kate herself would get in a few passive aggressive zingers.

I agree that among the many things parents should teach their children from a very young age, is how to treat all animals respectfully. They should demonstrate how you greet an unfamiliar or non-family dog. When my son was young and we were out at the park or anywhere where someone might be passing by with their dog, I taught him never to run up to the dog but to stand still and ask the owner, "does your dog like to be petted?" That way, the owner can set the boundaries. Sometimes the answer was "no, he's not very friendly with strangers." I appreciated that information!
If the answer was yes, my dog likes to be petted, we still followed protocol. Put your hand out, palm down, halfway toward the dog's nose. Let the dog move the rest of the way toward your hand and smell you. If all seems well and the dog licks your hand or wags his tail, then you can move your hand up to gently rub behind his ear or pet the dog.
We also had similar rules regarding cats, rabbits, or any other pets. Approach with respect, be gentle, no rough-housing allowed at all.
I think the Gosselin children have very little good parenting, and what good parenting they have comes from Jon. I hope that someone helps those children learn some good social skills.

I did watch the other day when they gave a young girl a makeover using Robyn's new skincare line. Any act of kindness should not have a thinly veiled hidden agenda. Sure, it was nice this woman was given the opportunity, but It is contrived to use her situation to launch a new product line.
You never know what triggers a specific animal. Mine for example takes the usual 'hold hand out to sniff' as an aggressive move. I don't know why. I give children instructions on how my particular dog likes to be greeted. Honestly she would go nuts if the G kids did that to her. but I don't blame the kids at all. I'm glad they have not had any incidents with their own or others' pets. I know Aaden or Joel was very scared of Nala and Shoka at first and the dogs sensed it and kind of pushed him around.The other kids seem a little rough/possessive of all pets, Zorro, too.They need instruction, to ask the owner, and to be careful of their own dog or Liz's- many kids are injured by the child going too close to a food bowl , for example.

All it does is show that some of them are angry, vicious people with nothing to do but tweet 24/7 on Kate's TL. Kate can claim that she's a victim of hateful non-fans who hope that others die, and she would have a valid point there.
I was hoping that person wasn't associated with Robert in any way shape or form.

Off topic I'm into Apprentice Season 2 UK and although it's not quite as good as Season 1 it's still really good.
The tasks are simple but they don't need to be complicated. For instance they had a task to just sell used cars on a car lot. You don't need fancy to have a great show and even be something you can watch with your teens. Although they do flat out say bad words, but hey that's the UK lol. What a remarkable improvement over the current American version.
I just think some of the differences we are seeing in photos of TFW's nose do not necessarily point to a nose job. Now the botox and fillers are quite another story.
I agree completely. Photoshopping and makeup techniques can explain many of the differences. I don't think she's had her nose done but I do believe she uses, sometimes with questionable results, botox!

Exactly. Maybe she was and maybe she wasn't, it really doesn't matter. If it's that important to them, just ask Sarah. She certainly is engaging all day long on twitter with all the sheeple. (dead giveaway!) I find it ironic it is so important to them to prove that she was there that one afternoon in the park on the weekend, but they're not concerned about her not being with them the six other weeks she is on this shoot. Good grief, like one afternoon in the park makes up for the rest of the abandonment.
