Faking the demise of your marriage.
Tori Spelling's new reality show True Tori has all the makings of a great episode of her father's legacy Dynasty. Now the internet is abuzz with evidence that, shocker, it could all be fake.
Old Instagram photos posted by Tori and Dean don't add up to the narrative they are telling now. And various sources say the woman Dean claims to have cheated with in Canada doesn't exist.
And check out this prophetic quote from Tori, "I’m Aaron Spelling’s daughter. I knew how to write the story. I knew what would tug on heartstrings." Not to mention, what ever would possess someone to make a television show out of something so terrible, especially when all they do is complain about the paparazzi? This would be funny if there weren't four little kids involved.

How's that?

Oh, very good! Perhaps threaten to throw her lovey out if there's a speck of dirt or heaven forbid GUM on it. You should also withhold cupcakes from her. Supermoms do it, you can too!

Um, Gladys, is it opposite day? She has the money, the time, and the spare dryer. It's LESS inconvenient for her

I can't believe Milo is a real person anymore. I think she must be TFW's doppelganger, sort of her alter ego - the one who tells her how tough her life is.

Yet.
The 2014 Sprinters are really shiny.
Maintenance for the vehicles could've been part of the package when she bought it so you know her she can't pass up a freebie on principle alone.
Makes me ill at how Milo condones her Major 4U if something goes wrong, every time! Milo, she has 2 washers and 2 dryers. If she can supposedly build a screen fence or screen door on tv, she can get by with putting up a clothesline outside and hang out there.
Sheets, pillowcases, comforters, blankets will dry in no time in the sun and heat.
When I was washing and drying clothes for 5 people, 3 small boys, I had 9, yes 9, clothes lines out in the back yard. I loved it! I would talk about my problems, think of solutions, it was like therapy. My only regret is I wish I would of had put a table waist high by the T posts so I could of put the laundry baskets on it to save on my back. During the summer, they were filled every day!
Not Tweeting much at all since CA. I think this may be due to either of two things: Jon's lawsuit or she has to cut back per TLC so people will tune in. Whatever the reason: YEA! And the added benefit is that those internet celebrity sites no longer follow her tweeting and post articles.
I feel certain, unfortunately, there will be a media blitz prior to the airing of the TLC special. And yes, there will be another "People" cover since TLC and "People" are joined at the hip.
After CA, I cannot imagine what there is out there for her in the entertainment world. She has been given a ton of opportunities and blown them. I'm thinking CA will be the icing on the cake. Nobody is interested in watching her bitch and moan, making funny faces to the camera. Not a nice person for a crew to work with either.
If I lived on that property, I would have a handyman on speed dial. Oh wait, she does ... STEVE!
Here's a thought: ever wonder why Milo's "teenagers" NEVER age? So now that I mention this and we know "Milo" reads here, there will be a post about college selection or a graduation.

Excellent point!
My mom had a huge square of clothesline in our backyard and she'd be loathe to use the dryer if she could let the out of doors do the drying for free!
To this day, I actually like a good stiff towel.
I have a line and a clothes sorting bin with a rod that I can hang on.
Most of the time, my towel load doesn't dry fully the first cycle, and I just take them out and hang them-even can open up the door and get some fresh air on them.
I refuse to run my dryer 3x so my huge bath sheets dry fully.
I don't believe Kate's Audi just broke down and was unfixable one day. Nah, she wanted to trade it in, but is so insecure and conscious of her image that she crafted this total bs story.
Further, I think CC's CEO smelled the bs and called her on it.

I think it's entirely possible those could be a niece and nephew or the neighbor kids. I find it highly suspicious she always takes photos of them from the back, almost like covertly. That is REALLY creepy if that's neighbor kids! Secretly snapping photos of them then posting them as your own kids? Yikes I hope that's not the case.
Also if I'm not mistaken she said last summer that her boy was getting his own place over the summer before college. I remember that because I found it highly unusual a child would be moving out just before college. Usually your summer before college you want to SAVE money by staying at home, and you want to be home so you're around all your HS friends one last time, close to your job, can pack for college, etc. It just struck me as a comment that was, if made up, quite out of touch with how things work. I'm sticking to my story that she doesn't have kids.
Another thing, if he's in college he should have been in finals week this month. Not meandering around her property without a care in the world while she snaps pics.
If she's leasing, she has to keep up the maintenance and car's appearances.
No congrats to Kendra from TFW? I thought by now we'd see some
over-the-top, XOXO tweet saying how much she misses them all, and
to kiss the new baby for her. Followed by Gladys tweeting both of them and suggesting a follow-up CWS episode now that there's a new baby in the mix. But Kendra still has only 1/4 the number of kids TFW
has, so TFW still wins!
If getting her car maintenance done on schedule meant being away from her kids, I'm quite confident TFW took care of it.

She's definitely an errand runner. Likes to get out of the house and pop around town for various things. Even if you could really do the grocery shopping once or twice a week, it seems she will stretch it out to three or four.
That makes me wonder if she's actually quite bored out of her mind in that McMansion all by herself all day waiting for her next big break. At least if you get out you can turn some music on, maybe get yourself a coffee, call up Deanna to chat, and you've passed enough time. I would really miss the structure of a regular job.

___________
Yes they do. When all this tweeting business started (Kate got her Twitter account in March, 2011, Milo in April, 2011) Milo stated age of her kids were 12 and 16. That would make them 15 and 19 now. The fifteen year old girl is learning to drive and 19 year old started college last fall.
I don't know if they're hers, a neighbors, relatives or imaginary but I'm pretty sure she gets a lot of laughs out of having everything she tweets analyzed. And I'm pretty sure she often says over the top stuff to get everyone fuming. That's her personality.
As far as the boy meandering around the property, where did that come from? She hasn't mentioned the boy in a while.

I've often thought the same thing. With her kids gone all day 5 days a week, 20 hours of help per week plus babysitters, no wonder she micromanages and complicates the littlest things....it gives her something to do (and complain about when not done HER way)!! My mom stayed at home with us and once we got to school full time, she volunteered there as well as church and other organizations on top of keeping up with us kids and our activities. TFW just won't go out and get a part time job or even volunteer to fill up her hours and be productive in society. It would be sad if she hadn't done this all to herself.
I just started thinking about Aunt Jodi, and how sad it is that the Gosselin 8 have been deprived of their relationship with her. They
have 4 cousins who live close by. Wouldn't it be nice to pop in to
each other's houses on the weekend? Have a barbecue, or just order
a pizza, and hang out? Things that are cheap or free are what kids treasure, and tell their own kids about some day. Yet TFW has this
"golden platter" fantasy imposed upon them, which I fear will give them a host of challenges down the road.
Of course she's bored in the McMansion. She's had a taste of the good life both on CA and wife swap and wants it even more now. She wants to do lunch and rub elbows with the rich and famous and that just ain't happening in rural PA. She thinks she's a star in her own right and that notion was fueled by her stint on CA. Unfortunately for TFW she wanted to fight Jon for the kids to keep the filming gravy train rolling and now that that's over and done she's stuck with them and thus stuck in the McMansion.
Here's a thought: ever wonder why Milo's "teenagers" NEVER age? So now that I mention this and we know "Milo" reads here, there will be a post about college selection or a graduation.

They do age, think. A year or so ago she was saying that he was 17 or 18 and was graduating from high school. Now she's mentioning that he is 19. That's between high school and college graduation, The girl is supposedly 17, so I don't imagine that she's graduating this year. IF there is a boy, then it could be that he's commuting, or enrolled in a community college nearby and is home on weekends.
That said, there's something really weird about that entire situation. I mean...finding his truck in her yard, in pristine condition after being outside in the elements for a decade or so...unless he still plays with trucks. That was placed there, but why, and whose was it?

Hopefully Jon has stayed in touch with them so the kids can spend time together once in awhile, although they wouldn't be able to tell their mother because she'd hit the roof if she found out. It's not fair to have them to lie to her either. That just messes with their heads and gets everybody in deeper doodoo.
Her alienation of family has ruined so many relationships for those kids.

Somewhere here just posted not a week or two ago that Milo had posted three or four pics of her son and daughter, meandering around her property. I clicked and saw them myself. I'm pretty sure it wasn't old tweets. Maybe it was??
That's why I say it's rather interesting she claims her college son was home around the time, when the vast majority of college kids are at school deep in finals.
When you catfish, it's all in the little details. If you don't check and recheck every little thing, including the timing of photos you take, people start to get skeptical.

I'm not knocking stay at home moms, but the thing is she has so much hired help she doesn't have to do anything regular stay at home moms do that fill the hours.

I stand corrected, but they could be grandchildren. This Milo writes like an older person.
There are billions of pictures on google images. Do you think that Milo is getting these pictures of these kids and that dump truck off the internet? You can do an image scan like Nev does on his show.
I just googled kids dump truck in yard and it was unreal the pictures that came up. As a added bonus, saw a really cute yellow dump truck cake.
It really does seem like Jon did kinda shut kate down about her stings about him. You know the media circus will start when the birthday special. I wonder if the Today show will have kate on about it.
It would really tick kate off if they decided to have Jon with all the tups on instead of her!
They had all the women that co-hosted on the View either for a long time or a couple of times. kate didn't make the cut? I thought BW exclaimed that she was a STAH!

That very well could be, TLC...
I remember when she-he-it had an operation followed by some kind of medical complications, a poster at BM's blog who was a friend of the family wrote to say that Milo's husband and her daughter (no mention of a son or any other children, mind you) were so worried about her difficult recovery that they had decided not to tell her that "Kate + 8" had been canceled. (Or maybe it was "Jon & Kate+ 8"? Can't remember exactly...) To me, that's the kind of conversation Milo's husband could have with an adult daughter, not with a 12 year old.

Hard to say. If these people are for real, they clearly.have issues with boundaries.
Milo was an early poster at babymama's as fired up for Kate. I have 3 distinct memories of her posts
She would send. "southern sunshine"; she posted once about "playing horsie" in the pool with her husband and she said the picture on Kate kissing Collin that babymama posted inspired her (Milo) to kiss her son. These were all well before twitter. IDK..........

I think Luke is correct. I remember it as Milo's. Thinking it looks like my father's leg/masculine.
From the Baby Mama blog, Milo said she had some rare illness (blood, I think) that strikes older men (a ha!), didn't know how he/she/it got it.

No, it was LOM's leg. He was in the hospital after his accident and she took a picture of him lying in the hospital bed.
I believe some time ago Milo tweeted that she has some kind of degenerative bone disease. I could be wrong -- I can't keep track of the illnesses of the sheeple.

Speaking of "Emily." There was another Emily, but I can't remember her Twitter name. Was it something like Emily Kate Plus Eight? Whatever happened to her? I think she allegedly was the one who set up the fake FB page with Paige to harass Ellen.
Just reminiscing about the good old days. Then there was the Stale Cereal Lady, Dave the Wrestler, The FlipFlop Ghetto Gal, Iwanna, and Big Fan, who REALLY was interesting. That one had a textbook case of MPD.

Which is what happened when the young Canadian fan set up the fake Cara Tumblr account. She really screwed that one up, never even bothering to check school/vacation dates, plus a host of other mess-ups.
The picture of the leg in a cast was of Milo's husband. He broke his ankle and had it pinned, it didn't heal properly and he had to have another procedure done and ended up with the cast again.
Milo's illness is osteonecrosis, a disintegration of the bones.
Nope, it was Lights Out Man. Here's the tweet that went with the picture.

Thanks Tweet - that rings a bell. She was in a wheel chair at the time of the doomed cruise and hence did not sign up. The cast pic was LOM's leg.
This is all based on her own tweets, btw. I am not verifying the info, just what was put out at the time.

Yikes, that's quite a line up when they are all grouped together. What a mixed bag of nuts and weirdos. Add to that the group of bottom feeding dimwits who spend 24/7 on twitter fighting for her.... Kate should want to change her name and disappear. How embarrassing.
This is the thing- it doesn't matter how big her house is, how many cars she has, how many bags and shoes she has or how many times she manages to get on tv. She. has. no. class. None. You can't buy class. You don't automatically get your class card once you make a million dollars. Her behavior and complete lack of morals and character is what has left her a nobody in the entertainment world. And that's even taking into consideration that reality stars as a whole are mostly looked down upon by real artists.
Thanks Tweet - that rings a bell. She was in a wheel chair at the time of the doomed cruise and hence did not sign up.

Or so she says. There was something fishy about that whole thing. Remember when she asked Kate how she would envision her to look if she ever met Kate? It could be that the whole wheelchair thing was cooked up so she didn't have to come face to face with Kate. You'd think that for someone who has professed her love, admiration, devotion, and yes, lust, for another person would at least want to meet the object of her desire. She's had plenty of opportunities, yet never did. Something's not right there.
Remember the IPad lady, Mrs. Miami Heat? What happened to her?Didn't she also send socks for the kids from Under Armour? There was also a fan who bought the kids backpacks and directed Kate to pick up the items at Kohls. I forget who that was...

They remind me of a certain breed of church ladies. If you're a church goer you know what I'm talking about. It's always something. Not to discount true illness, but when you're praying to heal someone's chronic paper cuts it gets to be a little much.

One of the biggest clues that Milo is cat fishing at least in some form is that she will never meet Kate, even when Kate has been near her. She always has an excuse why they can't meet. This is exactly what happened to Nev in his documentary Catfish. He had to show up at Angela's door to get her to meet him. She always had an excuse. On the subsequent TV series Catfish that's almost always how it goes. Few catfish people are happy to meet. You have to sneak up on them and catch them off guard and even then they often won't answer the door.
It's just a fun little mystery. I really don't care whether Milo is what she says she is or is a catfish. I like playing Clue.

It's not a half bad idea for some kind of murder mystery that's kind of a compilation of all the crazy fans on twitter. Fan starts out getting lots of love from celeb on Twitter celeb eventually loses interest realizing they're a bit of a nut. Fan sulks, makes more and more demands. Then maybe goes off the deep end and plots to attack celeb or something. I'd read it.
Yes, Milo definitely informed BM bloggers of that disease. I do not know what to think, but could have been a ploy to have the fellow bloggers express concern or it's true. I think Milo must be a lonely person. That's why I question there's a lights out man and two teens. We all make a little time to read here now and then, but Milo seems to be overly engrossed in Kate. It seems to have become an obsession once Kate joined Twitter. Milo was not all that active on BM's blog as others.
I also find it hard to believe that Kate did not have Steve vett Milo. Therefore, Milo is either harmless or Kate uses Milo as a mouthpiece. Kate tweets Milo so I am sure she's ok with this person.
The reason Kate manhandles her appliances is because she doesn't value them. She got them for free, and just doesn't appreciate them the way she would if she had to work for them. Or if she was really "piecing and patching" like she claims she is, and would have a hard time coming up with the money to repair them. After all, how many time has she ever shown appreciation for anything she has been given?
The reason Kate manhandles her appliances is because she doesn't value them. She got them for free, and just doesn't appreciate them the way she would if she had to work for them.
-------
I think this is exactly right. People who actually work generally respect what their hard work pays for. Kate has a disdainful disregard; all the gifts, all the grifts. No class. None.
Layla: i totally agree with you. But, I on the other hand, whether it is free or not, I still treasure it, as if I bought it. Cause, you never know if you are going to get another freebee. I was raise to takie care of things, free or not. Kate is thinks rich & famous people, throw things away and break them, granted some do, most do not. That's why they have money. JMO
OT. I was just watching Designing Women and Mary Jo's daughter wanted to enter the teen Atlanta beauty pageant. I thought what year was this episode made? 1986. I thought I wonder how old she is now. I googled the episode name and imdb. It was ironic what I found.
Priscilla Weems filmed Five Mile Creek (1983) in Australia in 1983 & 1984 at age 11. She had a starring role and was one of only 3 Americans in the series. Disney owned the series, but filmed outside the country and in other states to avoid paying residuals to the actors. Much of Priscilla's money was kept in Australia by Henry Crawford & Disney. She purchased a horse, Willow, in French's Forest, Australia, and flew him home. He was a 6-year-old Arab/Quarter Golden Palomino. Willow is still alive & well in West Hills, California on her parent's ranch. She also fought to bring home her "budgie" (parakeet). At that time in 1984, no birds were allowed out of Australia. She called the Prime Minister when she knew she was leaving and asked for special permission to take him home. "Bunyip" was flown home a month after she left and spent 30 days in quarantine. He lived 14 years and is now stuffed under glass.
Kate tweets Milo so I am sure she's ok with this person.
)))))))))))))
Not necessarily. She may tweet her just to placate her; otherwise, Milo would become either more of a pest than she is now, or she would turn on Kate. Either way, not a good thing.
Kate also tweets some of the more bizarre (and really dumb) sheeple. It doesn't mean she's okay with them, or doesn't consider them far beneath her. She might mock them hysterically off Twitter and have a good laugh at their expense. That wouldn't surprise me at all. I think she just throws them some bones to keep them happy every so often.

That would be a good storyline for 'Criminal Minds'. If they were to do an episode about Kate's adoring twitter sheep, they'd have to call it 'Minimal Minds'.
Auntie....you have the quirkiest and most delightful mind. Thanks for sharing your wit with us!
Auntie Ann, admin, BRILLIANT IDEA for new dedicated thread! We have do many creative posters here.
Let's do a Lifetime Movie script! Or at least a story treatment, for this concept: reality TV family is portrayed as sweetness, light, and religious. Adoring fans follow every carefully crafted PR release. One adoring fan is pushed over the edge when he/she is ignored. Meanwhile the reality family has fractures of their own. It all converges over a Fourth of July weekend at an isolated resort island when a freak storm develops and the towns supply of fireworks blows up! Of course we will follow the patented plot development and have a happy ending with everyone wiser for the experience.
Oh please please please! Writing fiction will be such a nice escape from real life demands, which have been challenging recently.
Auntie. ....hilarious!
Pat from SNL will play Milo
How about "Law & Order: SV-Ewe?"
Any tweets from TFW this weekend? If not, the kids must be with Jon!
Why did Terri Irwin send the G kids more official Australia Zoo shirts? Didn't they get official shirts when they visited?
She just HAD to tweet she got gifts from the Irwins! So everyone can think how special she is. Couldn't she thank her personally? What a show off. She is so desperate to be "in" with any celebrity...remember..."I miss you girls"...from the the view. What a poor lonely soul. No family, no friends, just a half assed attempt to bond with any celebrity that will give her a passing glance...doesn't she see how pathetic she looks?

Well TFW has killed three birds with one tweet.
1. The kids got gifts from someone famous
2. Zorro is alive and well and making an appearance right on cue
3. Tweeted about Alexis for the third since Tuesday
Next up? One of the boys in his shirt with Shoka.
PatK, you asked why Terri sent the shirts. Simple, free advertising to TFW's thousands of followers (I jest), she's got a good supply on hand and she can shut TFW up for another year. Maybe TI thinks that by associating with such a wholesome, all American mom (I jest again) that it might make the nightmare of the Sea World arrangers hip go away. I wonder if TFW ever sends anything to the Irwin kids.
I believe Milo is in a home and LOM "lites out man" does exist. He is the one that switches the lites out al 11pm. Milo always says she's in bed by 11 every nite.
I also believe the hubs pic of a broken leg is of a man that also resides at the home.
Milo craves attention and boy is she getting plenty of it here,
Milo once posted a pic of a lot of food made by a relative. Looked like containers that you would find in a home.
IMO Milos obsession with Kate is scary. One sick lady there.
Terri sent the shirts as publicity for Steve Irwin day, not so much as gifts. She knew Kate would broadcast it and give the day good publicity
I don't remember the date for "Steve Irwin Day". Is it even close?
I'm thinking Terri Irwin's assistant sent the kids presents.
it's a nice gesture for the kids not Kite.
frankly I hope the kids personally thank her, but I doubt it.
Gee, if I was a fan who'd sent TFW a gift and wasn't acknowledged, I'd
feel hurt that she went out of her way to thank a celeb but not me.
Especially since that celeb is super rich and probably didn't have to spend a dime on those shirts - just grabbed an armload from zoo's gift shop. But, as that great philosopher AuntieAnn stated, we're dealing with "Minimal Minds."
It seems like TFW's latest disappearing act - during which she ignored a slew of birthday acknowledgments, and comments about CA -- has
a few of her Twitter supports questioning their loyalty. Except for Gladys, it seems like the TWF love train is barely chugging along
these days.
Oak, I don't know what's up with auto correct but Sea World "arrangers hip" above @66 should read Sea World partnership Damn you auto correct!

I also find it hard to believe that Kate did not have Steve vett Milo. Therefore, Milo is either harmless or Kate uses Milo as a mouthpiece. Kate tweets Milo so I am sure she's ok with this person.
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
Excellent statement. Steve has been part of Kate's "team" (haha) since at least early 2008. Maybe earlier. He is part owner of a security firm and does (did?) investigative work. Why, I ask, why if Kate was receiving threats, death or otherwise, why didn't Steve handle this? This type of thing is the exact reason persons of note have in-house security. She has had security in place for years, so why would she all of a sudden turn to a sketchy internet figure to protect she and her children from threats? Hmmmmm?
Cute picture of Alexis, but it should have just been sent with a written thank you to the Irwins.Twitter is not a forum for 'than -yous' IMO. But yeah, we all know why Kate did it.
Oh please please please! Writing fiction will be such a nice escape from real life demands, which have been challenging recently.
====
Yes, a diversion from our real life challenges and Kate's pretend challenges would be fun. It's like her story just keeps looping; Tweet about the kids, check. Tweet about her most recent appliance/vehicle breakdown, check. Tweet about the newest addition to the Gosselin gulag, check. Tweet about her next mysterious surprise tv/book/trip, check. Tweet about the kids, check.
I do have to admit the sheep tweets can be fairly entertaining at times. As far as Gladys goes I think she does it sometimes just to get a reaction on here after Kate ignores her for any length of time. She's happy that at least someone is paying attention. ha!
Hi Milo!! We're here for ya anytime you want to come over to the dark side.

It's November 15.

I think this is a great term for bullyville's fan club.
completely OT but it's too cute not to share....
It's a rainy/drizzly day here in Georgia & my neighbors are having a bday party for their youngest boy. Instead of freaking out over the rain, postponing the party or locking the kids inside, they completely changed gears & made it a water/mud party. They have water balloons, water guns, and nerf footballs in buckets of water. I just saw their youngest go sliding thru the grass on his belly after catching a soaking wet nerf ball. His entire front is now covered in grass & mud, but the kid is having a blast. I can hear them yelling & giggling all the way inside my house. They are also playing baseball using water balloons, every batter has gotten soaked. Even the little girls are squealing & shrieking with delight. they put up a tent/tarp on the driveway for the adults, food & drinks. I can't even picture kate ever rolling with it the way these folks have. Much less allowing the kids to just go crazy & play in the rain, getting soaked & dirty. Everyone is having a blast, they aren't all trapped in the house, they aren't tracking dirt & mud into the house either. The screams & shrieks are from pure happiness & fun. Not over gifts & freebies.
I do have to admit the sheep tweets can be fairly entertaining at times/
--------
Ditto. Even though most of them appear needy (do you unfreeze cookies before you eat them...I need your recipe for salad...where did you buy your corner trash can?), they are both entertaining and amusing. I think I'd miss them if Kate shut down her Twitter.
"Why did Terri Irwin send the G kids more official Australia Zoo shirts? Didn't they get official shirts when they visited?"

That was a few years ago. I imagine they outgrew them by now. Can't have the kids doing publicity shots in clothing that's too small.

Wow, folks are on a roll here today. Minimal Minds? Law & Order SV-Ewe? Bwahahahahahaha!
I think the reason Kreider breaks so many things is because she's left-handed. Now, all you lefties, don't jump all over me. I've seen too many cases of lefties having difficulties because they're living in a right-handed world. Throw carelessness into the mix and voila, you have Klutzy Kreider. (that might also explain her two left feet?)
My brothers are klutzes, my BFF is a disaster waiting to happen. Her left-handed son broke my "unbreakable" cookware and knocked a doorknob right off of a door. He also, accidentally, sent my daughter for stitches.

Good grief, why?
GKD that sounds like a ton of kid approved fun, lemons into lemonade!
Last spring my daughter was fretting over all of the mud and water in the yard, I told her to dress them in play clothes with rubber boots, and let them go and have some fun. She did, and the pics she got of them out in the water and mud are priceless! Letting kids be kids, as they grow up so fast. That's what play clothes and washing machines are for!
On this episode of Law and Order SV Ewe...

Especially the boys. Their clothes must be several.sizes too large, which means that their shirts from several years ago.probably fit now.

Good grief, why? 82
Because minimal minds consider them a spectacle to gawk at, not a family of individuals. The blame rests with tfw.

I'd love to do this, but I have two excuses. I signed up to teach summer sessions on the Restoration and 18th Century Literature (lots of brushing up to do), and I'd have to get inside the minds of the sheeple. I'm not sure that's a place where I really want to be!

Now, that's my idea of a fun, fantastic party!! Thanks for sharing that, GKD.
The comments on GKD's party remind me of a memorial service I went to yesterday. My sister-in-laws mother died and she and her siblings had the most beautiful service for her. The weather was perfect. There were a lot of children running around playing in the backyard, chasing chickens, playing in the pond catching frogs, three dogs that had to say hello to everyone, cats running around, beautiful blooming flowers in the gardens and great, simple, homemade food. A perfect celebration of this wonderful woman's life. It's the simple, heart felt things that matter in this life. I don't think Kate could ever, ever appreciate anything like that.
I knew just how incompetent Steve was when the vetting of fans who signed up for the trip was apparently left to Cindi and some of the more unstable sheeple. That was just so inappropriate and frankly risky.
Going on a cruise ship with a bunch of fans seems to me something Steve should be directly involved in as far as security goes, and there should be absolutely no involvement from the fans. It was unprofessional and unsafe.
That would be a good storyline for 'Criminal Minds'. If they were to do an episode about Kate's adoring twitter sheep, they'd have to call it 'Minimal Minds'.

Remember that old LDS ad when the kids are out in the yard with the waterhose and made a huge mudhole and the kids were mud head to toe and their parents drove up? The dad got out of the car and said kinda mean, said, hey, everybody, just stay where you are at! I will be right back!
They looked like they were going to get a whipping, but he came back with a camera and said smile! You hear the snap and then the music and the smiles on the kids faces! I loved the one they tricked the working dad at home out to the camper and locked him in it and the mother drove off with the kids and camping gear and supplies to get away! I wish they would run those again! Classic.
I love this! Here's mine....The Mutton Show
OT
When is a child grown? Is it 18 or 21? When you reach the age of 18 you are allowed to join the military to fight for your country...to kill when you'r country tells you so. BUT!!! You are not allowed to drink alcohol,or now in New York, buy a pack of cigarettes. But ...if you have a job at 18, you will be expected to pay taxes.
So Im asking...just when is a child a true adult?
I understand that smoking and drinking can lead to very serious health issues. BUT...how can blowing off someones head or killing a village with children not cause just as serious health issues (even if it's only in the head)
I believe, if our government, thinks that 18 year olds don't have a clue til the magic age of 21, they should not be able to sacrifice their lives either until they are 21 or pay taxes. They should still be classified as children and parents should get a tax break for them.
As a parent I would love it if my kids never drink or smoke. But I believe at 18 they should have the right to make that decision on their own.
Sorry for my rant but now that NY says you need to be 21 to buy a pack of cigarettes, I find the fine line between an 18 year old adult and a 21 year old adult asinine.
From the kids' perspective - Unhappy Days
From our perspective - Walking Dread

Talk about perfect casting.
You are all simply awesome.
I guess this means this is the kids only uniform to a non club, activity , the kids will ever be in. Remember, they are tups/set/6 pk, they have to do everything together or it is nothing. So they will they parade around in the Aussie zoo uniforms, and get made fun of, or they will probably wear them at home and have meetings in the house, just the 8 or 6 of them. You know the American Aussie Zoo society, with 9 members. Oh, forgot, these kids cause a riot, where ever they go: Kate words! Cause where are these kids going to wear these uniforms to? Can't brag at school(they have uniforms), the kids are not in anything except the older ones, and they have uniforms for that, except the one twin, won't want to wear a uniform if she don't have to. So what is the point? So they can pretend to play zoo. Take them to a real Zoo Kate. No one is going to bother you or the kids, get off your lazy ass, and take them to the Zoo! People who have way more kids than you do, manage. JMO

Admin, I am not sure what Steve's story is, but he is a lousy bodyguard. I am pretty sure he must have gotten a P.I. license here at some point because he used to be involved with investigating cheating spouses at Prudential according to a Baltimore magazine article I posted here months ago. If he has been having an affair with Kate, then he's been very good at hiding it (tricks of the trade, LOL). He is not at all what a typical bodyguard looks like or acts like, so the speculation continues.

Yep. It's like the stereotypical new money times ten. I've always said she reminds me of a stereotypical lottery winner who buys a bigger shinier pickup truck with their spoils.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I agree, but with tfw she always thought she was above and better than everyone else, with or without money. Regardless of the tups or tlc, she would still would have sucked the life out of Jon. She would still have demanded the princess treatment. She still would have alienated her family. and friends. She would have pissed off her neighbors, co-workers, etc. She lucked out with her "lottery" for sure, but she'd still be a hated person. A lot of those "new rich" winners give away their money, spend foolishly etc. but they are "good" people. TFW? eh, not so much!

My opinion about Steve is that his resume is very padded to make it look like he had more experience/was more important than actuality. (I guess a lot of resumes do just that!) I believe he was on the police force somewhere in New Zealand, and one time when then president Bill Clinton visited, he (as part of the force) were part of a security detail. Probably waaaaaay out on the fringes where he'd have been lucky to see the Presidential limousine using a pair of binoculars.
To me, Nield is an opportunist. He saw a chance to make a lot of money doing "security" for TLC and he took it. Then he saw a way to make himself indispensable to TFW, exploiting her personality traits and anti-social behavior to his benefit. I don't think he's professional in any way.
All Recipes.com is featuring Kate's signature flag cake. They cut the strawberries differently, so I guess Kate can't sue.

ITA, Millicent. A former co-worker on the police force in Auckland said he was ambitious. That's a good thing except when it's a bad thing. Do you think he had something to do with getting Jon out of the picture, LOL? Remember when Kate named him as trustee after the divorce and Jon put a stop to that? Who the heck does that with an employee? He'll go away when the money dries up.

ROFL - I have no trouble picturing that either. Has anyone seen the commercial for Little Ceasar's Pizza, where the father is driving the van and the kids are clamoring for pizza, so he pulls over, turns around and yanks his hair out, exclaiming he can't do ten things at once. I can picture Jon wanting to do the same thing, only he's responding to Queen Kate's endless nitpicking complaints.

He worked hand-in-hand with the FBI and other security agencies and I don't believe that he ran in to Steve or his company at all during those games. We've had all of his credentials and the olympic pins that he got framed and keep telling our kids that they'll probably be worth money some day so not to get rid of them. The pins he got ar the hard to get security (FBI, etc.) pins.

Most parents are very happy to expose their kids to new things, without a camera. And there is no "hysteria", which I think has been pointed out time and again. It is all in Kate's head that she can not have a good time with her kids, outside the compound, without a body guard. Babysitters/help would work just fine, if needed.

So, why can "Can Do Kate," not do a simple visit to the Phila zoo, with her teenagers to assist her? 2 kids per person.
It's not that hard, but unless "other help," is on board, never going to happen. The extra help is for Kate who can't seem to manage an outing without a bodyguard and "helpers" beyond Kate and the teens.
She is missing out on a lot!

Yes, they did go to all those Zoos, what for maybe 1 hr, just to film a few things and get out of there. Like the hay ride, all of 10 mins. Nothing the kids got to enjoy fully. God forbid they should eat at the zoo, all those mediocre, common, diseased people there. They might catch something: being normal. Kate can never ever have a normal day with her kids, especially outings. They have to be filmed/edited/and ready for TV, and paid for, not out of her pocket. Being 10 & 13 is old enough to behave/have manners/and be able to listen to instructions, not run about, like as if they were 4-5 years old. I see around where I live, moms with 6-12 kids, go shopping, with no extra help, and some of their kids are about a year apart. Kate will never admit to the fact she can not handle her kids. Jon manages, Kate can't,even sometimes with help: the RV episode. JMO

Yesterday I met a woman with 8 kids ages 24 to 10. She already had 3 grandchildren. She was calm, happy, blessed, etc. Didn't complain once. Her oldest was with her (with the grandkids) and she was also calm and happy, with 3 kids under 5.
Just sayin'
OMG! "Petite slacks" LOL Who says that? I don't know anyone under 70 that uses the word "slacks"

Gladys! There's a picture of her in gray "slacks" with a knife-sharp crease down the middle.
Why is it a "pair" of pants or a "pair" of underwwear but there is only one?
We do have a "pair" of shoes or socks.
Just wondering.
I'm watching Dancing With The Stars and everyone is fabulous. Even if you are not a fan, do check out ABC.com tomorrow for the tangos. Hot, hot, HOT!!! I don't care what scores they get, those couples are amazing!

No spoilers, but the dancing was unreal tonight! Saw Candace and Amy? the girl with the prosthetics. Amy and Derrick were incredible, especially the choreography!
Wow the newest stfu parents entry is funny. They've coined Parent-explaining and it's exactly like what Kate and her breaking baaas do. She has eight kids and you don't so blah blah.
I agree Joy, DWTS is great tonight. Thank God for TiVo because Jack will be waiting for me when this is over tonight.

I see around where I live, moms with 6-12 kids, go shopping, with no extra help, and some of their kids are about a year apart.
####
It's common in your area for families to have 12 children? I don't think I've ever seen a mom (alone) out and about with 9, 10, 11 or a dozen children. I certainly wouldn't do it by myself. Perhaps if they were older, but how in the world could one parent keep track of that many very young children? You'd have to worry about their safety. There are just too many weird people out there. Wouldn't you constantly be counting to make sure everyone was there?

They've been to zoos. I remember the Philly Zoo, one at Hershey, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Alaska, and of course, Australia.

All while filming. Never understood why they could not do these things alone without the camera.

Was the Hershey Zoo part of an episode? I don't remember them filming there, but I do know that they were there because the "news" made the local papers.

J+K+8 was one big, fat-ass, huge tourism ad for the state of PA.
Fuck Ed Rendell.
Asshat.
I recall in IJWYTK that they went to the zoo one rainy day & the children were clad in garbage bags against the elements. She told how Alexis threw up on the way home in great detail. Also heard they had to re-film the actual zoo episode since it was poor quality tape due to bad weather and I think they went to a different zoo.
Not sure if the rainy day Kate described was actually a filming day- she made it sound like it was a ' #fun' family outing. The things that went wrong just showed how she tried SO hard to give the kids an outing against all odds. Heh.

Re: the tourism that the children would generate for PA. That is so sad and reminds me of the Dionne Quints. I wonder if that was a reason the state of PA hasn't gone after kate to repay for the taxpayer paid state nurse. Wonder if they may feel a "pang" of guilt after all these years to not go after her and consider the kids collateral damage. She is/was a millionaire.
Have they taken the stand, Let sleeping dogs lie?
I wonder if kate made the state nurse sign a non-disclosure agreement and if she did is she still bound to it. If anyone could talk, she could, but may be afraid because of the fallout she would get and she would also be a mandated reporter and didn't report abuse IF she saw it, OR maybe she did report and nothing was done.
But, OTOH, if the nurse was a loving comfort to the tups and was able to deflect kate's wrath on them for a year, then she was worth every penny.

I seem to recall reading that was the National Zoo and that film was canned because the weather was so crappy.
A post I did years ago is one I am very proud of and it even got picked up by a radio station that was interviewing Aunt Jodi.
In essence I talked aout Pennsylvania's conflict of interest in regulating reality T.V. about their locals. Jon and Kate promoted good will in PA and tourism. Almost everything they did at that time, before they started traveling the country and world, was some local thing in PA like the trains or museums.
PA has incentive to regulate other industries, like miners, because the consequence is people could get hurt or die. But the Gosselins are probably not going to get hurt or die because they filmed 40 hours a week. Emotionally it's bad for them but that's not tangible enough for PA to worry about. Thus they had no reason to crack down on this family unless and until public concern was vocal enough to demand it. It was a classic cost benefit analysis. Eventually public opinion came. It is a shameful period for a state that now has a legacy of a dark period where they did not protect their children.
Some of this is still going on in other states trying to attract filming. Laws for both children and adults are very loosey goosey in some states and film crews are fleeing to those states, working in poorer conditions to save a buck. Should their be national entertainment laws? Maybe so.

We here were all over the subject like white on rice, and I think it was one of the most important things to come out of this blog.
The dirty little secret that Kate's minions do not want to even address, let alone acknowledge, is that children were used for entertainment, and it's no different than The Truman Show, save for the fact that the kids had the camera and crew in full view.
Still, they didn't, and still do not, have any clue as to the consequences of living their lives for the sake of generating episodes and revenue for TLC.
I truly think they will seek rightful compensation for making hundreds of millions for a network, while they were compensated pennies.
Should their be national entertainment laws? Maybe so.
******
Without a doubt, yes.
Cameras and crew should never have full access to every single recess of a child's home, including and especially, bathrooms and bedrooms.
Children should never be filmed on the potty, for the sake of entertainment. They should not even be filmed in states of undress, such as naked, or topless, or with shit-filled, exploding diapers, or diapers that are falling around their knees.
And never, ever in the tub or shower.
No stranger, and yes, I include the crew "family", should be given access to capture on film, what the Gosselin children have had captured.
The children were very aware of those cameras, and I need only to point to Mady's odd performance when a crew member followed her, ALONE, into the basement in E-town.
Please, please a new post. :)

I totally agree. All the things you listed where definitely shown on J&K- the potty episode was very explicit of bare bottoms ( and they seemed not to have received the Northern TP yet as none was shown as the kids pulled up their pants!); diapers were changed on the living room floor, Jon showered the tups in groups of threes, shown from behind; vomiting, tears, tantrums, tooth brushing, cavorting topless, Mady's scene, etc. No privacy. As for the potty content photos Kate took, I guess there are people out there who would enjoy them, ugh.

Ooh! Ooh! Mr. Kot-tare!!, Mr. Kot-tare!!
Let's do a post about Summer "traditions". You know, the REAL kinds that do repeat and aren't revoked because there are no cameras and paydays from TLC.
DH and I have made a tradition of going to the OBX with our dogs.
This will be the first for baby Bichon.
I can't wait to see his face when he puts his paws into sand and sees the vast ocean!
What's the over/under for Bald Head Island this summer, I wonder?
Will the "tradition" resurrect now that Kate's had some income from piecin' and patchin' from a TLC special, a People cover and CA?
Or, will it be one day after another, after another, in that salt water pool?
” it was a dark and stormy night, when Our Heroine, Mary Sue, made her way to the offices of the Cheerful Cable Company in downtown Okefenokee, for it is in the great state of Florida (home of the memorable fictional character Serge Storms and his very much non fictional creator Tim Dorsey) in which our story begins, as plucky Mary Sue thought to herself, ”I am missing the finale of Dancing With The Stars for this meeting, this job had better be GOOD!”
I propose this to be the opening of the parody film treatment of Minimal Minds or The Mutton Show!

On the second "special", the girls were filmed with Jon, in their bedroom. Two were buck naked and one was in a diaper that was falling down, leaving her bottom exposed.
One of the girls turned toward the camera, and they didn't edit it enough to NOT show her vagina.
I really have to wonder what the hell J+K were thinking to allow their children to be filmed naked.
Where was there sense of protection?
Melissa NV: The large families are of a certain religious group, and some of the other are of a certain ethic group. Their kids are very mannered, listen to instruction, and don't wander away. They must be very strict at home or, they have a way of getting a kid to do what they want, without screaming or hitting.
Lanc Native: When they were on Katie, they had a guest at the house, the kids were fighting, spitting at each other, and had meltdowns and as for being at places: most of the time at the places they were at, they would clear the place of other people, so the kids were isolated, cause they were filming.

Very young children, ages 2,3, 4 DO wander away. It's not a matter of whether they behave perfectly and listen and have wonderful manners. Kids are kids. Toddlers are curious. Of course, if you have older kids who can keep an eye on the younger ones, it would be a big help. I don't see how one parent could possibly do any shopping with twelve young children in tow. You'd have to constantly be counting heads and holding hands with the very young ones..
I still think either Julie or Stevie brought Milo on board. To balance the negative press against her. The person probably gets some sort of compensation from it.

*******
The only way Kate will take all 8 kids on an outing, is if it filmed for tv and she gets a hefty paycheck, and the production assistants do all the work.
What I did a lot when my son was younger, was go on outings with other moms and kids that were in my son's classroom, or otherwise we knew and were friends with. I'll admit we didn't have 8 kids total, but just having another adult or two along for an outing, makes a huge difference. If Kate was a normal mom and forged some real friendships with other moms at her children's school, they could coordinate any number of group outings and have a great time.
I don't think Kate enjoys spending time with her kids, nor does she seem to enjoy even being around other people, unless she can boss them around.
Being 10 & 13 is old enough to behave/have manners/and be able to listen to instructions, not run about, like as if they were 4-5 years old.
************
Have they recently been shown to misbehave and run around like 4-5 year olds?
*********
I thought the OP's point was that Kate often claims that if she went out alone with her 8 kids, it would be "chaos," because I guess the youngest 6 would run all over the place. She also seems to believe that they would attract so much attention, it would also be "chaos."
Both claims routinely disproved by various people who comment when they have seen Jon out with all of the kids, yet no mention of "chaos".

Yes! Someone in CA isn't falling asleep at the wheel of child protection!
From Radar:
"Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith have seen their parenting skills come under fire after a picture of their daughter, Willow, 13, in bed with actor Moises Arias, 20, was posted on social media. Now, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the Los Angeles Department of Children & Family Services has officially opened an investigation into the incident."

Sounds familiar.

You had no idea about what? That I'm over 70? I will be 75 in August! My paternal aunts lived very active lives through their late 90's, so I anticipate I have quite a few years left to live! lol

"The common life"!?!? Good luck w that TFW! Pack your bags and leave! You'll be a dime-a-dozen.
She's clueless about CA weather at this time of year. While we do have a drought currently usually right about now it's May and June "gloom" where it's extremely foggy and overcast almost every day. With many days not getting out of the 60s. They say we might not have bad gloom this year but it would be the first year since I've been here it wasn't a regular thing. I personally like the cool and crisp, foggy mornings. Reminds me of fall. You're more likely to be sunny where she is!
I'm sorry she finds the common life so awful. I enjoy my common existence.
Admin- topic for a new post perhaps?

If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what does...
It does say it all. It also speaks to her selfishness. You live in a wonderful place. Your children have a lifestyle that is massively cheaper than the same lifestyle in CA. The people in PA are genuine and your kids could grow up with wonderful values. Just as important their father lives here. But she can't be satisfied with a life anyone would love to give their kids. She always, always wants something else or something more. I think she's clueless how unappreciative she sounds.

Kate is a twit me too. Milo is a stereotypical lonely fan. Em is young and vibrant and beautiful. The world is her oyster. What in the world does she want with Kate?
Michelle Duggar went to a fertility doctor to see if it is possible to have to more children.
http://www.today.com/moms/duggars-visit-fertility-doctor-we-would-love-more-children-parents-2D79685068
From the article:
"The Duggars eschew birth control, instead leaving the number of children they have "up to God."
"If I am in that season of life where we're not able to have any more, then I'm fine, I 'm happy with that," Michelle says in the TLC clip. "But if there are things physically I need to know, that I need to do, healthwise just to be ready to catch a baby if God saw fit to give us one."
Does anyone find this statement a bit hypocritical? She says they leave it up to God whether they have another child or not, but then they go to a fertility doctor to find out if it's at all possible?
Maybe they needed to come up with a new plot line for their show, and going to the fertility doctor seemed to fit the bill.
She always, always wants something else or something more. I think she's clueless how unappreciative she sounds.

I wonder if Emily nannies for Kate on an ongoing basis, otherwise, what's with the "we"?
But, for Pete's sake, it's just about summertime here, so wtf would anyone go to CA to warm up?
Kate's area of PA is beautiful, but she's not happy.

Do you think she's clueless or do you think she just doesn't care? Most of the time, I think she just doesn't care.
Common...is that better than mediocre, or worse? Using those words makes TFW sound like an evil queen from a fairy tale. It's a method
of putting others down in a not-so-subtle way. Does she think her
Twitter buddies are dripping in diamonds and drinking mai tais in Cabo? When she talks about the things she aspires to (read: hopes
to get with zero effort), does she realize that probably not a single
one of her fans has had one hundredth of the perks and luxuries she's had? What does that say about them?
Does anyone find this statement a bit hypocritical? She says they leave it up to God whether they have another child or not, but then they go to a fertility doctor to find out if it's at all possible?

A little, but I understand wanting to know where she stands biologically.
For some reason, I think Michelle is scared to death of not being fertile- of reaching menopause and drying up. I think Jim Bob, with his need to inseminate, will lose interest.
Why waste his sperm?
It's just a hunch.
I've never heard her say we love PA. It's a beautiful and friendly place with supportive people who helped us through extraordinary times. We have a great school, church and hopefully friends. Etc etc etc. You know what I hear from this TFW? I need a getaway. We love to travel. I love CA. Never a peep of appreciation for their wonderful home turf.
