Reports NPR's Eric Deggans via Facebook, "NBC admits they have created a season of Celebrity Apprentice but haven’t put it on their schedule. No clear answer why. #TCA2014"
Is it possible Kate's season might never see the light of day???
With leaks that came out like that one, that's really disappointing!

The fans can't use their usual tired "she's just jellus" when it
comes to someone like Marie Osmond, now, can they?

Yes, they can. Remember that there's no logical thinking ability among the flock. They'll dig up some dirt on Marie and decide she's just jellus and not credible.
I think Marie Osmond's comments on "The Talk" carry some weight.
She had her first hit record at age 13 - the age Mady and Cara
are right now. She has 40 years of experience in the entertainment
business, and besides singing, she has sitcoms, TV movies, a talk
show, and even Broadway under her belt. Not to mention her
successful doll business. Her estimated worth is 17 million.

Excellent point.
Same really goes for Sharon Osbourne. She too had a reality show with her children. For her to say well I did this too but this WAY crosses the line, is significant. She DID walk in Kate's shoes. She DID have a reality show. And, she understands family dynamics as she was estranged from her father for years. I remember Ozzy talking about how they made up and he said something funny and so simple like well one day I just told her you've got to get on with life water under the bridge and just make up. The way he said it was funny. And so Sharon did!
She is a very sharp woman who has a long history in the entertainment business. She managed the Smashing Pumpkins, one of the most brilliant and successful rock bands of the 90s.
I don't like any of the talk shows but comparing The Talk to the View is no comparison. These women are SOO much smarter and savvier. They are SO much more grounded. Sarah Gilbert is part of a Hollywood dynasty and her entire family were child stars. Their experiences are so much more valuable. I like them so much more than the squawking chickens on the View whose backgrounds bring very little to the table.
Orange I understand your frustration about them being late to the party but I think we can't dwell on that. I think we need to just be grateful when someone gets it even if it's late. Beside we don't know that they didn't always get it. It may be just that there was never a good reason or forum to bring this up before. This show is pretty new. Sharon was showing her disgust for Kate for years. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.
I'm catching up on some TIvo'ed PW and she mentioned that she takes the kids once a week to a homeschool coop in Tulsa. She is by no means doing it all by herself. It takes a village to homeschool these days and concerns about her qualifications to give her children an excellent education are unwarranted when they are part of their own customized school. In any case, she is a very smart woman who was about to go to law school when she met her husband.
Remember a couple years ago Donny and I think Marie as well did an interview where they basically trashed their childhood? They said it was completely dysfunctional, they were never home or saw their mother, and mentioned terrible things like having to work when Donny had appendicitis.
I bet the fans don't care for that interview either. Nobody likes a happy child star who grows up and reveals their childhood was actually horrific.
And Marie lost her son several years ago. Kate has faced nothing like that yet thinks her life is so tough.
I watched PW today. Her brother, who is disabled, I think his name is Mike. PW was making his favorite food today while he was out helping her husband on the ranch. She said that he had a big social calendar and they were just so glad to get to spend time with him. She was so sincere about speaking about him with love and kindness.
She made a breakfast in a personal skillet and she made Orange Muffins that their Mom used to make and she said he would be really excited for that.
ate would Never speak with that tone that PW did for a family member, much less her own children. Or fix THEIR favorites on a random day.
She is so absorbed with herself, her messed up twitter, Steve, and herself.
Do you think that when Jamie came to film the circus party that she has been there the whole time since until ate tweeted about covering the bar stools? Divorced, doesn't have custody of her kids, unemployed?
At least the women of The Talk get it, especially when discussing taking a child on vacation. When our parents told us we were going somewhere, we went. The women there pointed out that this was an entirely different situation. Mady didn't go because she was tired of having the camera in her face. She was tired of working. Period.
&&&7
Exactly. They get it. I really doubt a 9 year old would be opposed to an adventure in Alaska with bear watching and gold panning and glacier walking. What I'm sure was bothering her was the work and drag of the show as well as yet ANOTHER vacation. Remember that was really the year where they were EVERYWHERE. I remember our outrage here during those months when it seemed like every other week they were somewhere. That is TOUGH on anyone let alone a child. Anyone who has ever travelled extensively knows it gets old fast. It's not being ungrateful, it's appreciating home and just wanting to be there and getting tired of being on the road.
That shows you how insane the sheeple are. They're trashing a kid for making their hero look bad? They have no shame. They're lower than pond scum.

The Kennedy talk today reminded me of something I did when I was young. God's honest truth. I tried to call the White House and speak to president Kennedy. Don't ask me how I got the number, you're talking the 60's here. But I was "outed" when my mother got the phone bill and there were calls to Washington DC. I confessed, saying I wanted to talk to the president. Some things you never forget.

Yes I would want to crawl into obscurity.
But if any of it was not true I would be outraged. I would go after the slanderer. I would take an ad out in the paper. I would call the liar out in defense of my children.
Ms. Osmond was molested as a child, too. She knows what dangers lurk when kids are put to work in front of cameras and other adults are around.
I love Marie. She's ever-so-slightly kooky and I find it adorable and very appealing.

Chef, don't know if you're kidding but I made a huge bowl of chili beans in my slow cooker for dinner. A little sour cream, onions and copped avocado on top. A pan of corn bread for all under $10 and can feed about 10 people! Yum!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let's throw tomatoes, sounds so good! I love chili. But, I couldn't resist this:
copped avocado? You mean you borrowed, or aquired in some fashion or another? (grifted lol) Oh, did you throw some tomatoes in?
lol
I'm sorry in advance! In the Urban dictionary that is the meaning for copped. I know it was chopped avocado and YOU worked hard and paid for it yourself, and worked hard cooking it, unlike someone we all know who doesn't roll like that!
I might be wrong but I seem to remember that that heartbreaking video clip of Jon dropping off the kids when they were crying hysterically was right after they had returned from their trip to Alaska, like he had them for that weekend when they returned home from Alaska and this was their first time back to the Compound and they did NOT want to go! Does anyone else remember this?
I will never forget her fainting on DWTS, that was so wild. It was like she got this sort of dazed look on her face then fell down in a heap. They replayed it like 100 times after that lol.
When I was a kid we visited the Canadian Mint in Ottawa. Yeah we did nerdy things like that. Who should be standing in line behind us but Donny, his wife, and a couple of their kids at the time. They were all pretty little. At the time I had no idea who he was but my mom sure did lol. She said are you who I think you are and he laughed and blushed.
It was just such a mediocre, un-Hollywood thing to do. I mean who goes to the Canadian Mint on a Saturday with the family? Donny does.
I remember sending Caroline a birthday card for her 3rd birthday. It never came back in the mail, so it must have been delivered.
BTW, today is the 15th anniversary of JFK, Jr.'s passing in that plane crash. Another life that was taken too soon.
Kate tweeted that it was a busy day at the POOL, a lacrosse picnic and summer reading. Milo is right there on Twitter, looking for a tree frog in her car and freaking out:
Fired Up 4 Kate @MiloandJack · 38m
Egads!!!! Just pulled over N my car...there was a TREE FROG on the INSIDE window!!! He jumped 2the floorboard...what now?? Geez...
She's afraid the frog will jump on her when she's driving...she's trying to catch him, but she takes the time out of frog-hunting to ask Kate what to do about a frog in her car?
Great comic relief from the laughingstock of Kate's Twitter!
I'm watching the Talk to do a post on it. These ladies are so much more insightful and interesting, like when they were explaining the dynamics of a relationship when one person is always in the spotlight but the other is not. I have found that to be spot on. Unless you occasionally trade off it makes a relationship extremely difficult to maintain in a healthy way. I have never heard the View ladies offer up a discussion about anything interesting like that. This is like listening to a good girlfriend tell a story or give her two cents on something.
Bethenny?
I can't imagine Kate giving up her "rockin' bikini bod" even for a while.
Yes, it was right after they had returned from Alaska. Admin even did a post on it. You can read it here.
With all of the recent revelations about Kate being a mean, miserable person who is working her children for her own personal gain, I wonder how many of the few remaining sheep are finally seeing the light but are too darn stubborn to admit it. For some bizarre reason, they think that Kate needs them to have her "back." They never stop to think that they are getting absolutely nothing in return from her, except for bragging rights that they "know" a celebrity.
I read an article about the Talk where the head of CBS daytime programming described the premise of the show.
"As a viewer, you are invited to join us at the table," said Angelica McDaniel, head of daytime programing at CBS. "You feel like you're meeting your girlfriends for lunch or going out together."
Like I said previously, I hadn't watched The Talk much before today, but after watching today's episode, I'd say Ms. McDaniel described it perfectly.
Yes, my speculation from the special.
-------------------------------------
Thank you.
I thought you were talking about this past weekend, when K tweeted that she had been away but was waiting for "a couple of kids" to come home. Since she appeared to have had only 2-3 kids for the weekend, there was speculation about whether 5-6 kids are "a couple" when they're with Jon or if some of the kids were not with either parent.
In this context , you can see why I was confused about talk of pajamas, etc. Either you have a really good spy cam at Shawshank, or I missed something. It turns out I missed something - the special.
Oops! I didn't even notice I wrote copped. Thanks Lukebandit for noticing and letting everybody know . LOL Actually I should take my own advice,I always use to tell my kids " always read what you write " when I use to help them with their homework. I'll try to do better next time, I promise!
She's afraid the frog will jump on her when she's driving...
===================
Bet she wouldn't be afraid if Kate jumped on her! Sorry, couldn't help that one.
Kate's TL is a mess of the greatest magnitude. BV's pal is posting names and addresses and phone numbers of the non-fans and encouraging sheeple to call the employer of one of them.
What in the heck is someone's boss supposed to do because an employee doesn't like Kate Gosselin? Maybe I'm really out of the loop, but I don't get it.
This has gotten so way out of hand that Kate needs to take this thing down right now. She tweets lollipops, sunshine and rainbows about the good old summertime while her Twitter is in the sewer. The pathetic thing is that she just doesn't care.
