That is hysterical. Milo doesn't stalk? Gladys has her auto-beeper set for Kate's tweeting. Every time Kate tweets a celebrity, Milo's right there, putting in her two cents. Milo wants Kate's friends to be her friends. Milo wants to know where Kate is, what she is doing, what's for supper, what the kids are up to, ad nauseam. If TFW could hire a Swiffer hit man to get rid of Jon, she would do it in a heartbeat, because she is still so angry that he left and messed the gravy train up temporarily. It will be so ironic the day that kate REALLY, really needs Jon for whatever reason, he will go to her and help her. I don't mean to fix something, I mean when she has a mental breakdown and Steve says good bye and hits the road. I really believe that Jon would do what he could to help her.
Normally, I would say that mothers should teach their daughters how to deal with the emotional part of their monthly cycle as well as the physical part. PMS is not an excuse for treating your family badly. Of course, that takes time, patience, and love. I don't think Kate's up to it. I don't know if her girls will even tell her they started. They can get info on the web. And the younger ones can probably go to Cara for calm advice. Kate seems to want to have "little" kids so much that I can't see her dealing well with puberty.

I truely believe that CA person when she said Kate was lazy. Kate's last tweet, she only just found a draw labeled with baby things, according to Kate a forgotten dresser. What, MS organized, did not see this dresser. OH< PLEASE! Real organized people know every square inch of their home/house, their homes/houses are labeled, organized to death. They plan well in advance for everything. They hardly ever get caught off guard or doing anything at last minute. Kate does things at last minute, she is not very organized as she claims. The advertising story makes a whole lot of sense, and I noticed now their source is actually a TLC insider, not just a "source." Even if they can't name the person, a journalist would be able to verify the person they are talking to actually is a TLC insider, giving the story more credibility.
This is a bad time to be controversial, even slightly controversial, and an even WORSE time to be controversial about issues with the safety and protection of our nation's children. It's not 2008 anymore, and the public's outcry over the Today show appearance demonstrated just where people stand on this now. You can only push it so much before people say no more. It's going to be very interesting to see how this all plays out.

Girls start puberty pretty early these days, but I cannot help to think that watching the girls' weight is one way for her to delay the inevitable. Then again, she may try to pass herself off as the harried mom of five teenage girls. I've always felt bad for the boys because I think they get ganged up on by all the females in that household, so I hope Jon is spending extra time with them, if she allows it.
I think Milo is creepy and I cannot understand why anyone would continue to acknowledge a stranger like Kate does. Unless, of course, Milo is not a stranger. Or is harmless. Or being paid to stimulate Twitter controversy. Whatever is going on, it's strange, creepy, and proves Kate does not have the children's best interests at heart. Milo's tweets are just plain odd.

I 100% agree with this. The "haters" are part of her schtick. She's actually smart enough to know this. She doesn't REALLY want the hate to go away because then all she's left with are 6 fans. She knows she has built a brand around the criticism of her which is why she will never be too aggressive when people say bad things about her. She's not about to pick a fight with Kenya or make anyone feel like if you say what Kenya said you'll regret it. In her mind she needs people like Kenya to stir the pot.
In fact when the rubber met the road with BV and he actually was taking haters down, Kate suddenly got very quiet and soon thereafter disassociated with BV. The bottom line is she doesn't REALLY want haters taken down because she needs the criticism as part of her brand. She just wants to stir the pot. She doesn't want it to actually boil over.
What happens though when no one wants to advertise? She's up a creek now and doesn't know what to do. She's walked a fine line with this that may not work anymore.
Pre-quel: Maine Trip
Kids get their next clue: one of Kate’s hair extensions. Kate: “Can anyone guess what this is?”

Scene two: Wild Maine blueberries! Kids are excited to pick blueberries. A guide explains to them that 90% of all the blueberries in the US are grown in Maine. Kate pitches a fit about the mess, and orders all the kids to wear surgical gloves while picking. Leah gets a tiny spot of blueberry juice on her shirt. Kate has a meltdown, screaming, “She’s ruined!”
Scene three: Harbor cruise. Kids are boarding the boat. Kate grins evilly into the camera, saying, “Gee, I hope nobody gets seasick on this trip”. Camera man answers, “We already did that, Kate. North Carolina, remember?” Kate gives cameraman the Look of Death while grudgingly handing out Dramamine to the kids. During the cruise, the guide points out various sights, including the Bush family summer home on the coast. Kate (talking to Mady): “I thought you said Stephen King lives in Maine”. Mady: “There’s more than one famous person in Maine, Mommy”. The tour guide asks if they know what country borders Maine. Kids: “Canada!” Kate: “Mexico!”
Scene four: LL Bean. Kate tells the kids that they can pick out whatever they want. Kids start picking clothes out: “Oh, I like this!” Kate: “No way”. “How about this?” Kate: “Forget it”. “Can I have this shirt?” Kate: “Not a chance”. Kids finally give up and let Kate pick out all their clothes. Everything matches. Kate tells the camera, “I like to let them pick things out for themselves. It allows them to express their individuality”.
They move on to shoes. Kate: “No tie shoes! I can’t be bothered in the morning!” Younger kids, “We’re ten now, Mom. We can tie our own shoes”. Kate: “How many times do I have to tell you to call me Mommy! We have to pretend you’re still cute little 3-year-olds, and nobody’s gonna fall for it if you call me Mom”.
Final scene: Kids are back home, lined up on the front porch for their back-to-school picture. Cameraman asks them, “Are you sad to be going back to school all day?” Kids (darting glances at Kate), “No. Not even a little bit”.

Has anyone noticed any of the commercials for CA, not one mention of Kate. Others are signaled out in the commercials; the couple of semi stars, the comic, Sig, I don't think the general population knows who all the reality d listers are. And the "baseball" player, unless you were a Redsox fan when the one the world series, most won't know Johnny Damon. He got greedy, like Kate, (bet they got along) after his glory year in Boston and didn't do so well on NY. There were several commercials during the foot ball game yesterday.

With all due respect, I think there is a difference between a specific discussion of a particular child's puberty experience and a general comment about the reality of something every single girl on the planet goes through.
Kate has 5 daughters, the comment was actually more about how she will deal with that...not about any particular child.

I always love the competition with "celebrities" and some have actually done a great job and were impressive and humble raising money for their cause, while so many others were lame, and it was all about them. It's like a science experiment, and I actually enjoy those who actually have a great skills, a brain, and contacts to actually raise money for charities. Kind of survival of the fittest, as many "stars" come on the show just for money and recognition... ie TFW.
A break from TFW- Called a service line and recording said wait period should be 8 minutes: I laid phone on floor while getting stuff done and 48 minutes later, phone died (needed a recharge.)

It's barely even a reference. More like Nicki Manaj needed something to rhyme with 'straight' (Jon & Kate plus 8). The song name is "Only" and the uncensored lyrics are extremely x-rated - the SNL version had just about every other work missing so the J&K+8 reference really stood out.
Admin, I second that motion! When someone posts something about what a sheeple said that hasn't been heard from in a while, or a long time, I go, Oh, I remember that.

So... I have seen a TLC Favorite Holiday Moments Special will be aired Friday Dec.12th. Those featured will be.. A Duggar Holiday surprise. Kate Gosselin's Christmas morning routine and Theresa Caputo's search for the perfect tree.

I'm trying to figure out what could be more boring than watching Teresa Caputo search for the perfect tree. And why does she have to search anyway? Can't she have her super special powers kick in and lead her straight to the perfect tree in 5 minutes or less? TLC is scraping the bottom of the idea barrel in choosing their holiday reruns.
The Apprentice clip already looks good. Juicy, guilty pleasure good not just about Kate but with conflict already brewing between Geraldo and Ian. And I love that show. Less than a month away woo hoo!

I'm not a CA fan, but look forward to the recaps and I think I'll dvr the shows just in case Kate gets regular smack downs.
I'm betting she will. I just think her relationship with Steve is going to be part of the story line. Just a hunch.
On TLC's website, Kate isn't even mentioned in their description of TLC Favorite Holiday Moments Special. This is what it says:
"Join TLC as we celebrate the season by counting down our favorite holiday moments. From Theresa Caputo's hunt for the perfect Christmas tree, to a visit from Santa at the Little Couple's home, this truly is the most wonderful time of the year."
Theresa Caputo searching for the perfect tree. Riveting. What does that look like?
"OK, somewhere in this general vicinity, in this group of trees, does 'sapling' mean anything?"
"I'm seeing pine cones all around. Anyone?"
"I'm seeing a connection to the number 12. I think it's the month of December. Does December mean anything to any of you Christmas trees?".

Not sure why TLC isn't listing Kate in the special. When I hit info on my tv remote I get this

I wonder why they are not mentioning her...when are her "specials" going to be aired? Wasn't it this month?
Gladys said all the other contestants on CA were "reputable." But
why do I think her opinion will change in a heartbeat when they
start bashing TFW on the show? And calling Kenya an "attn
seeker" - dude, every person on that show is an attention seeker,
or they wouldn't be on that show. Gladys herself is an "attn
seeker" -- if she wasn't, she'd only communicate with TFW
one on one via one of their myriad personal and private
top-secret methods.
