I think it was right before they showed the back of a truck that they were unloading. I heard her say it, but don't know if they showed her saying it or if it was a voice over as they were doing something with the truck. I had walked away for a minute, heard her say it, and then looked at the television. She did say it, though.
Just as potting training and puking shouldn't be considered entertainment, nor should teen rebellion.

The BS about worrying about leaving the 8 at home if she dates is totally false as well. The twins are 14 which is plenty old to watch the sextuplets for a few hours. She insists on infantilizing all eight of her kids and making them out to be completely incapable of doing anything without her guidance.

Laughing at your comment about Ian. Up until this episode, I was thinking fairly highly of Ian and hoping he could give Geraldo a run for his money. Then he goes off on this combination of touchy-feely "it's all about money AND value" and preachiness that was completely unexpected. I have no doubt his charity is very worthy, but that's how I feel about every charity so far this season. No one's announced that their charity is all for eradicating penguins from the earth, or for building yet more puppy mills. He came off as too sincere and too emotional -- i.e., playing for the cameras. Leave that to Geraldo.
And yes, quite a difference between Kate in a room full of strong women vs. Kate in a group that includes several men. All of a sudden, she's perky, she's laughing, she's touching Geraldo's arm and telling him he's amazing (and he is lapping it up like cream, natch). I think she may have tried flirting with the other men, but soon zeroed in on Geraldo. I did laugh during the board room scene where Trump points out how lovey-dovey these two are, and somehow the conversation becomes about how lucrative it is to be Geraldo's next ex-wife, then Trump says something about Geraldo's current wife. But when has a current wife ever bothered Kate when she's interested in a guy? Repeat after me -- NEVER! Personally, I'm rooting for a Kate-Geraldo hook-up. I think he's the only man who could talk over her.
Speaking of Geraldo - has he always been creepy and inappropriate, or is this behavior possibly an early onset of dementia? When he snuggled up to the baseball player as his "wife", it might have been barely okay if that clinging moment only lasted a moment. But it didn't. I don't know why the ball player didn't just physically push his hands off and move away. Then he does a Miley Cyrus-Robin Thicke reprise, with himself in the Miley Cyrus role bending over and practically twerking into the baseball player's crotch? Beyond creepy and zooming straight into "Security!!" stratosphere.
Next week's episode will likely draw high ratings because Joan Rivers is on. I hope she tells Kate like it is. Joan Rivers worked her butt off every day of her life and genuinely earned every single penny due to her own tireless work ethic.

Yes, but then you still have to physically take it to change the password. I used to have a netnanny for my kid's laptop and could just turn off access for certain times of day. But then ipods then smartphones came along. It used to be we just had to monitor their Facebook, so they jumped on Instagram, Twitter, SnapChat and all sorts of media. It gets harder and harder, especially if you have a challenging kid.

I loved how Ian had to make sure T.O. was OK after being fired, and went to shake his hand a second time, and assured him he'd be alright, or something like that.
T.O. was riding that fake elevator alllllllll the way down to the first floor, Ian, cashing his check, hopping in his limo, and saying, "smell 'ya later, homies".

For a family that supposedly travels/traveled a lot, they are certainly disorganized as revealed in the clip that was posted. My kids learned to pack their own bags starting at the age of 6/7. They would lay out on their beds the things they wanted to pack and I just checked that they hadn't forgotten anything or that they hadn't put out too much. Then into their bags it all went. Done.
TFW is anything but organized. Saying it doesn't make it so.
Of course Gladys is ignoring her own "#BeMature" edict by tearing

That moment was particularly strange considering that in an earlier episode he freaked out when Lorenzo barely touched him on the shoulder or back. He said he doesn't like to be touched. I guess it is OK when he feels like he is in control of the touching. He is a creepy, strange man.

I googled "Kate Gosselin I'm lonely" and she's been using this schtick ever since she and Jon got divorced. There's at least one article(if not more) every year since. Then, of course, there was her interview on Dr. Drew saying the same thing.
It is quite ironic that she says she never gets out of the house, when she was away for a month in NYC filming CA, and also went to Boston and Maine to film Kate plus 8, plus she's "out of the house" in NYC doing interviews.
I bet she can't wait until the episode airs where she's fired. She'll get to be on the Today Show, Wendy Williams(looking forward to that one) and probably do other interviews also.

My recollection is that this occurred after Kate "suddenly had" the idea of having her hairdresser come down and set up a style station in their bridal boutique. She's back at the table sitting next to Geraldo and he compliments her on the idea, saying either that showed enterprise, or that she was enterprising. And she responds, 'I don't know what enterprise means? Is that good?" And Geraldo explains that yes, it's good and it means take the initiative or something like that.
As others have commented, the compressed show format is not great. We see Kate meet the two stylists from the salon and show them their "station." And that's the last we see of them. We see wedding dresses being unloaded, but I don't recall seeing shots of customers coming into the salon, looking at dresses, or getting a free hair consultation. It was boring watching both teams sit around supposedly dialing for dollars. Even the alleged panic attack is not shown - just Brandi talking relatively calmly on her phone to a friend, saying she feels like she can't breathe. If that's all the team members were going to do, I don't see anything wrong with Brandi going to her comfortable quiet suite to continue making calls or sending e-mails, reaching out for donations. It apparently worked, as she brought in the 2nd highest amount.
On a semi-related note - I notice that Brandi's appearance changes quite a bit from shot to shot. Sometimes she looks fairly natural, pretty although too skinny to be healthy. Then the next shot, her cheeks looks like they've just been over-injected and are unnaturally plump. Next shot, back to normal again. What the hell is going on?
The make up was pretty bad on last night's episode too. The make up artists needs to tone it down a bit. Shawn looked positively garish in some of her confessionals, with that splash of bright red lipstick, the false eye lashes, and just over the top make up. But at least her skin looked good. On the other hand, Kate's make up left her looking older than her years, with definitely bags/lines under one eye. And who selected that ugly green dress for the boardroom? It might be the latest fashion, but I thought it was hideous.
They didn't focus much on Leeza last night, but she looked pretty much perfect in every shot. Either she told the make up people "no thanks" or instructed them carefully each step along the way.
I'm rooting for Leeza for the win, or if not her, Ian (even though he was sort of annoying last night).
Maybe one of the reasons why TFW didn't want one of the girls to wear the dress she wore in Alabama was because it was 2 years old and she didn't want people to think that she would keep a dress that long for her girls to wear, they would look like they couldn't afford it.
And for the same girl to be wearing the same size TWO FREAKING YEARS LATER, shows her control issues with food. It is like they haven't grown any at all. She would toss that dress in the garbage or in consignment before she would let that little girl wear that dress she likes.
But to say HOMELESS? While living in a Million Dollar Plus Mansion?

Actually I think most people do see what she is and that is the fascination with her which is why, I guess, the freak gets her specials on the freak channel aka TLC and invited to be on CA. She is desperate to stay on the show and I could see her pre-arranging with her bank to pull the money from her account and sending it via courier in the case of another money challenge. She knew she could not get by on a promise of a donation again. She wanted to stay on the show more than she wanted the money. Just my opinion.
TLC is leaking a lot of clips of tonight's show. Seems like they're afraid no one will watch. This clip shows Kate and the kids going into the beach house and it really shows how Leah and Hannah gang up on Alexis. I feel so bad for her.

Admin, I just finished "Unbroken". I have not seen the movie. I started the book on a plane to New Orleans. I couldn't stop reading. New Orleans was shadowed by my desire to have time alone reading.
You will probably learn more about planes and aviation than you knew before. The book is complete with details that will tear apart your heart and then re-build it with admiration for a truly courageous and dynamic man.
I thought (often) of my father who fought in Europe during WW2.
My traveling companion had seen the movie but hadn't read the book. We kept sharing comparisons and details.

I know it's total speculation, but I also think part of that money was Kate's.
The guy's name is never mentioned and if someone is bringing me $30K to donate to the charity and help me win, I'm throwing my arms around him and giving him, or her, a big ole hug.
Kate's reaction to this guy was a non starter. Nothing there.

I bit the bullet and watched CA. I had sworn I wasn't going to do it, but curiosity got the better of me. I noticed something that I really hadn't seen on any of her shows...her eyes. I'm not sure if they've always been like that, but they seem to be empty, soulless, just really vacant. Even in this photo, there's just something "off" about them...not physical, but lacking any kind of warmth of mind. I don't think it's the eye makeup, but I'm not sure exactly what it is. Anyone else notice this?
