My step son was 11 when he came for his weekend with us almost 4 yrs ago and stated I'm not going back you can't make me and he never did.... We had to go to court but he told anybody who would listen that he would run away if forced back to his moms. And he was so shy and beat down at that point it was shocking to us and we reacted immediately.... I don't care what age a kid is when they have had enough they react!!
Well, if any part of this latest news is true, it certainly explains a lot, especially the weird 'protective mode' tweet. The image of Kate screaming outside Jon's house is scary, but plausible. But the most telling part is simply the claim that the child does not want to film anymore. They have been subjected to TLC in their face again, and again, this winter/spring; they are also older and probably can see the future. Kate scares some of them and her mini-me is getting more power. It will be interesting to see where this goes. Meanwhile Cruella is out in her hooker clothes with a guy almost 20 years older who has a few skeletons in his closet. Poor kids.

I'm also wondering when they filmed that couch interview that showed up on the MD special where she blathers on about the "insanely hurtful and absurd" allegations of child abuse. I kind of agree with those that think this is a set up to deflect, deflect, deflect. My opinion on the pictures:
Picture 1 - They're really dressed down for an "upscale" restaurant. Maybe slacks and a shirt with a collar instead of blue jeans and tee shirt for him and something not hookerish for her.
Picture 2 - Wow! Not much atmosphere going on in that place. What's with the no make-up and she really does need to learn to sit up straight.

Why was ET picked to get the exclusive and the pictures? ET has always been good to Kate and she's had a connection with them. They interview her every time she does a media tour in NYC. One thought is that having been treated better (which isn't saying much), Hannah might have better self-esteem to stand up to Kate. She might be the one to lead the other girls into the Promised Land!

If the story about H refusing to go home with Kate is true, there's something seriously wrong going on in that household.
Dang, we've read her copyrighted journal, seen the tools of abuse in episodes, pap pics, seen her shush a child harshly, ignored her children's health issues, call her boys icky and nasty, roll her eyes, etc etc etc...as far as being reported to the authorities, Robert said he turned her into child protective services, Jon has done the same; Colin and Kate were investigated, and Maddy went to school with an injured arm-(and those are ones that come to mind). She's nuts, scary, obnoxious and totally obsessed. I am so glad that she doesn't live anywhere near Jon because he would have to take out a protection order. I just don't trust her. She's upset because someone sold the story, not because of what is happening in the lives of these children. What will it take for Milo to finally relent and admit that perhaps there is truth in what is being reported? Never mind, that's not going to happen. Re: Hannah and filming. I noticed that when they went to the beach house during the Pilgrim episode, that Hannah is paying attention to how the family is portrayed. Alexis and Leah we're fighting over a bed like toddlers would. Hannah looked at the camera and told Leah to lower her voice several times. Then Hannah closed the door so they could work it out without her sisters duking it out on camera. She gets it. TLC is loving their dysfunction, lies, violence and all around feral existence. They are now proving Kate AND THE KIDS to be liars and fools. ie: mady saying she's not that mean followed immediately by an old clip of her hitting her brother. Go Hannah.

It is reported that the train was traveling in excess of 100 miles per hour around the turn, twice as fast as the recommended speed. I have been on that train, and I know that curve. Those trains speed and there are times when I just hold my breath, thinking, wow...they are going much too fast. Sadly, it was bound to happen.

But, there's upscale as in pricey, and there's dressy, as in a dress code.
It's common for young men to don a nice pair of jeans and a COLLARED shirt at a trendy place.

Nastia's partner Derek is a polarizing figure. Some people think he is super-talented, the improved re-incarnation of Gene Kelly, etc. Others think that he has won so many times because he gets preferential treatment re partners, songs, live singers, etc. And his sister is a judge!
He has stirred even more controversy this year because he said he wasn't coming back, then came back wile simultaneously doing a live show in New York. He used other dancers to train his partner and never acknowledged them. Since he injured himself, perhaps because he was over-tired from doing 2 jobs, he's refused to step aside for another partner, but keeps insertion himself into their dances / interviews / etc. I think a lot of people who were formerly pro-Derek or neutral are really unhappy about the way he's treated his substitute. On Monday night Sasha did a great quick-step with Nastia, but couldn't even get his scores without Derek pushing himself in there. And on Tuesday's show, Derek never once mentioned Sasha.
Derek has always come across as immature and a bit of a show-boat, but he's beginning to look more and more like Kate. Me, me, me.
They just need to walk away before a big scandal erupts because it will. The truth always comes out. Would not be surprised the birthday/Mexico holiday is the last we'll see of her on TLC. She cannot be worth the aggrevation and cost at this point,

I had a different take on the bed fight. I thought Hannah was trying to deal something in private with Leah and closed the door, so they could be together.Turns out Alexis did get her bunk and the other two slept in one- Hannah had an air mattress but those two always are together. In the old Philly episode, Kate tricked Alexis into thinking she could sleep with Mommy, a real treat, 'don't tell the other girls" so H and L could be together. If I hadn't seen Hannah scream and spit and taunt Alexis I would agree with you.But there were other fights featuring Hannah, such as in the room swap, Collin's teasing her about her hair, refusal to wear certain clothes, saying Alexis was 'nuts'
etc.
But whatever happened there, I still am glad she dug her heels in this time, and hopefully the ramifications are not too severe. Maybe Kate will be stymied for once...for a while.

I don't agree. Not everything is a set-up or conspiracy. I think this was a date at a Philly casino, they had dinner, they gambled, a bystander took some photos and sold them to a tabloid. There are times when I feel sorry for them because their minds are so closed to any kind of logical thinking. With 8 kids, I think it wouldn't be so unusual or cause for great concern if a kid or three wanted to switch living to the other parent at some point.

Looking at the dinner date pictures I noticed his cell phone on the table and Kate appears to have hers on her lap. My husband and I both have cell phones, but never use them during a dinner out. I can see a guy taking it out of his pocket, but on a "romantic date" shouldn't Kate have left hers in her purse? I find that as I get older I have less and less tolerance for stupidity, which is why I don't pay too much attention to the sheeple. I speculate just that, that Kate had some issue about childcare or something when she was trying to find out where Jon was. It makes perfect sense, she was digging for dirt to try to claim he wans't taking proper care of the defecting child Hannah. Or, she was concerned he was bringing Hannah along. I"m guessing she didn't know WHAT was going on that weekend and is too immature to just ask JON or the defecting child.
Here's the thing, Hannah is eleven years old. The Red Cross lets you take their babysitters course when you're 11! She can stay home alone for a few hours and no judge is going to give a rat's behind. She's not a toddler.

Let's see. H said Kate was cruel and refused to go home. Her dad saw that it was serious, kept her with him, and looked into changing custody. Not very concerned if she didn't cancel whatever her plans were and had to troll around on twitter trying to get her fans to do her dirty work.
What she doesn't understand is rather than act like a controlling monster about the situation, it might have been wiser to back off and give Hannah her space and time to cool off. Once again their logic fails. If it WERE true that J and K made a deal about letting the kids film for not requesting child support, why do they blast Jon for "signing away his kids away" but not to Kate for "buying" her kids, which is what it would be.

Reasonable conclusion. If it were any of those people you would text or call them on your pink iPhone. Who uses twitter to communicate like that? I'd be too worried they wouldn't get it or mistake like THAT (accidentally posting it on your timeline) could too easily happen! It's obvious she was communicating with a fan whom Kate doesn't want to communicate with over the phone. Any of those people would consider twitter an inefficient, and not very secure, way to communicate and wouldn't do it.
Someone just unleashed the RT bots on Kate's TL--for the "Millionaire Boyfriend," of course. I guess that's one way to try to bury the real news of the day.
I said not too long ago, I believe when Kate was talking about her convoluted (and boring) pick up drop off mess thing, that there shouldn't be a problem to just leave the darn kids home alone and make it easier on yourself. I don't remember exactly when I said that but I've been very clear that at their ages now it's not a problem to leave them home alone, for a reasonable amount of time, whether they are in Kate's care or Jon's. So, no hypocrisy here.

I thoroughly agree that it was a fan, someone she follows on twitter. As I said when that tweet first came out, I think she meant to DM it and accidentally tweeted it.
In order to DM someone, you have to be following them and they have to be follow you, so I would think it the recipient would have to be someone she follows on twitter.
She realized her mistake quite quickly. By the time, I had copied it to paste over here, she had already deleted it. It was pure luck that I saw it at the time she tweeted it.
And now there of screenshots of that tweet all over the place, so she can't deny she ever made that tweet.
I still can't get over Milo praising Kate for "protecting her little girls privacy". I'd like to ask her if Kate telling a nationwide TV audience that her boys have trouble hitting the toilet when they pee also falls under "protecting THEIR privacy".
Maybe the story has the sequence of events a little off.
Maybe TFW was out of town, and the nanny, or one of the older girls, called to report that H refused to come home with the rest of them.
TFW, having the time of her life with TFM someplace, comes home 3 days later and demands that H come home now. And that's when the screaming in the street occurred. Whereupon the neighbors called the cops. And the lies started.
There's something desperate in Milo's last tweet, like she's grasping at straws for how to make Kate a heroine in this.
