I think TFW is extremely angry with Co. I think his having to go to another school is a HUGE inconvenience and his "issues" are making more work, work, work for her. I think it's TERRIBLE that she had a lovey dovey couch one-on-one with all of them except him. I have no idea what his issues are, but he obviously can be well behaved as we have seen it. Whether the school demanded another not-expulsion or what, TFW is taking it out on him passive aggressively (and I'm sure aggressively when the cameras are not around). Jon said kids were having issues and the fans had a fit. But now they will praise her for saying so and remain silent about how she shuns him.
The question is will he be going to a private school, public school, or special needs-focused school? None of our business but she is making it our business.
Well I'm 700 comments behind but I see that Colin is going to a different school and I'lll bet my bottom dollar that wasn't Kate's idea. More than likely a public school is where he can best have his needs met as outlined in his IEP. GOOD. A fancy shmancy pubic school could end up being the worst thing for a child with different needs nut Kate's the type of mother who would put status over a child's needs until the school decides that child is no longer suitable for their class.
There was a driveby here over six months ago who insisted Colin had been kicked out of school again and that it was really bad. I just couldn't post it because there was no way to verify it. I'm guessing this dates back to that drive by. As we have learned lately, anonymous sources are not always worng.
Can I just say that wifi in Australia is garbage? What the heck, Aussies! On a positive note, I'm in the WhitSundays and tomorrow will see the Great Barrier Reef for the first time. What a blessing. I can't wait to do a full post about all my Australia Zoo adventures. I think it will be mildly interesting.
Oh I forgot to say, the sheeple had a heart attack when Jon dared to say that the kids have their issues (and he wasn't doing it to share private information. He was doing it to explain why he did NOT want them to continue to be exploited.)
Why is it then okay for Kate to discuss such things? Why on earth do we need to know this? We don't. I can't wait to see their hypocrisy.
It makes me sad to read about what TFMJG is continuing to do to Collin. He deserves so much better. My mind keeps going back to the episode where he had such terrible constipation. He was whining and begging for his mother and Jon told him "She won't help you". How true that was then and has continued to be so. I hope that his new school is able to help him to blossom out from under the shadow of his siblings and out from under TFMJG's thumb. I'm afraid, however, that she'll use the "inconvenience" of having him going in a different direction as an excuse to heap more punishment on him.
G'day Admin! Wait -- it's night time there. Never mind! Looking forward to your post about Australia when you get back. In the meantime, the pool girls are doing you proud.
Make sure you're sitting down when you read all the comments in this post. It'll be like a slow-motion train wreck. What's the Aussie equivalent of Rumspringa?
Kate can't say to the kids You misbehaved we're going home. *********** Oh yes she could; that would be called 'parenting' and it actually would have made a MUCH better 'story' to film.
Oh I forgot to say, the sheeple had a heart attack when Jon dared to say that the kids have their issues (and he wasn't doing it to share private information.
...
He also didn't single anyone out or name names if I recall.
While I hope a new school will help Collin excel, it may be that he is gifted- I remember Kate saying he was bored in school and he does seem bright. The social problems should be kept private but Kate has contributed to them, or he may have some issue we need not know about. Why she announced this, idk.
But I bet Kate will not let him forget he is breaking her wonderful morning routine if he has to be taken to a separate school, on a different schedule etc. My heart goes out to Collin.I'm sure he will get extra chores if his school starts later and still has to get up for 6:03.
Um, honey, you either stop this right now, or we're going home and I'm calling your friends' parents to come pick them up. End of story. *********** But, then, that would take caring more about her childrens' development than keeping herself on camera, and that's never gonna happen.
Oh, you better believe Her Royal Laziness is majorly pissed about this change. What about the traditional porch picture on the first day of school with everyone in their uniforms? And the regular homework helper (which TFW admitted to having) may not be able to handle C's curriculum if there is specialized teaching behind it, so TFW may have to hire additional help. But knowing her, she'll find a way to get it for free.
Sorry if I didn't use the proper terminology regarding C and what he might need. I most certainly don't want to imply anything negative about him -- just the narcissist who is raising him. Is it wrong to hope she is "over" the whole new school thing by Christmas, and just lets C live with his dad?
Collin is having issues and is going to a different school? There's no way that it was Kate's choice to send him somewhere else. It had to be the school. Which makes me wonder--what happened to her claim that "they're doing great across the board. Top of their class"? She couldn't have been lying, could she?
I feel so sorry for Collin. He is so desperate for his mother to show him some love and to be proud of him. But the harder he tries, the more she rejects him, which just makes him try even harder to please her. It's a vicious cycle, and incredibly unhealthy for Collin. He has to be emotionally devastated. What kind of mother could treat her own child that way? Only a cold, unfeeling, unloving mother could. And that is Collin's mother.
Holy cow! If he did leave the school six mo ago it would explain him arriving late to the twins party. Remember an rol article about the girls complaining to Jon about how C is treated? This is big! Whatever his issues are they are not obvious like a severe autism or intellectual disability. This also highlights how much smoke and mirrors and flat out fakery go on during the shows taping.
I wonder if C was not even around for the couch taping if he already has a different school. Or maybe between the party taping and the couch taping there was a custody hearing where Collin win the right to not be filmed. Pure speculation/theorizing.
Um, honey, you either stop this right now, or we're going home and I'm calling your friends' parents to come pick them up. End of story.
....
That reminds me of a time my dad was in middle school went to a friends house for an overnight and called me 30 min later. She said the friend was Samsung her mom and her mom sent everyone home. I was impressed
Why has it taken 11 years to get this child the help that has been obviously need? I don't watch this show, can't stand Kate. Putting such private info out on a unreality show on top of dismissing his birthday gift to her is sickening. I hope getting special schooling will bring out Collins path for life.
Layla (#15), not only were the kids meeting expectations but exceeding them, according to Mom. And every single solitary person who met them said they were normal, well-behaved angels. Now I haven't watched these last 2 specials, but her description of their behavior/personalities does not at all scan with what has been seen on camera. Hmmm... what to believe, what to believe...
You may be right. A few times on the recent specials Collin was not with the others all the time, such as when they came into the house for the room reveal. He appeared later. I thought maybe the kids were returning from Jon's and he wasn't allowed to go? Who knows. But it's fact he is excluded.
I sadly think the others, mainly the girls, will lord it over Collin for not being in the same school. I did notice a little rift between Collin and his brothers which was not there before. Collin was at the school last birthday because the boys teased about his 'recess girlfriend' Oh dear. I am worried for him although it could work out great for him school-wise..I wish we knew about Hannah- if Jon won that case, no reason he couldn't get Collin as well.
I suspect she brought up this personal info because she was told to by TLC or publicist, however that works, so that it would appear at least on the surface that she took the bull by the horns regarding his educational and other needs, rather than waiting until it became clear at the beginning of the school year that a change *had* been made. (Whether she did or was forced to, who knows). I also think it was a prelude to filming, unfortunately.
I highly doubt he will be going to a public school, considering the demands she must make regarding time off for filming, security needs (in her mind), etc. Public schools will not accomodate those. I would hazard a guess that he will either be in a specialized school or possibly even homeschooled. I have my own theory as to the reasons just from watching over the years when they were young (quit watching some time ago), but in any case I'm glad that she was forced in some fashion, whether by the school or her own recognition, to make a change that will hopefully benefit him. I have a cousin who had what appears to be similar issues who ended up in a private school for such needs and it did him a world of good, both socially and educationally. A successful young man today.
I hate to see Collin's issues aired publicly, but really, it's horrible for Kate to continue exposing these kids to the trials of filming.
So I did not watch. Was Cara not staying at the hotel because only Mady and her friend were mentioned, but I did not see them in the hotel room either. The way those girls carried on, I am surprised they have friends.
And who was the woman there? A mom? A nanny?
Gee, why the heck was one suite booked when they could have booked two adjoining rooms like the boys had with four double beds? TLC must think some people are total idiots. Anybody who has stayed in a hotel knows a suite has a sofa bed and one bed in the adjoining room, unless you do a two bedroom suite if the hotel had that.
Wasn't there to be a big surprise at the party, according to Kate a while ago? Was it the news about Collin? That poor, poor child. In the first part of the show, Alexis grabbed at Zorro's legs roughly, and then a bit later, one of the boys held him firmly in one hand, in a death grip, and was racing about the house with another boy chasing him..seems like he fell with the bird too? My son has birds, and he told me they are not to be held tightly about their middle, as it could impede their breathing? Not sure if this is true. In the end, at the hotel breakfast, it looked like no one would let Alexis sit in their booth. Then, she approached Kate who was oddly sitting with two of the supposed girls' friends, and there was room in that booth, but the one girl wouldn't move over, nor did Kate ask her to. Thought that was really odd. The whole show was a hot mess from beginning to end..flitted from scene to scene, and out burst to outburst.
If so, she's going to have to have not one but 2 earpieces, a handful of index cards, and TFM in the wings playing charades, because that's the only way she won't put her foot in her mouth.
You forgot pic's of the kids hidden in the couch cushions. (How bizarre was that....very weird)
Remember when Robert said (the topic was C&A being expelled from school) that there was something far worse that would be coming out? I bet there were already serious issues with Collin in school, and that is what Robert was talking about. It just took longer than expected for it to come out.
I see on MSN that Kate is whining about the split with Jon (again). He moved out 6 years ago! She will never get over him, will she? She can't stand the fact that he is happy without her. Of course, she is talking about that because she wants to deflect attention from the situation with Collin, but sheesh...time to move on! She will never get him back, and crying about losing him year after year after year will not change that fact.
Name: Long time lurker At the beginning, when the kids were in the playroom, did anyone notice what looked like a low wooden balance beam. They type used in gymnastics. One of the boy had the pet bird on his shoulder while running away from a sibling who was trying to throw something at him. It looked dangerous for the bird. The boys were smart to ask for a list, when Kate was giving them instructions for packing. That was responsible. Mady and one of the girls were on the piano together. There were at least 3 guests who were boys. Colin was able to calmly hold his own and state his feelings nicely when L or A was packing the bags in the trunk. Mady and Cara were both on the couch with make up and hair done. Mady said the kids got a big party and 3 cakes and they (m and c) should ask for three cakes when it's their birthday. Surely by now, she should be over comparing what the six get. Between saying they are annoying on the view and complaining about them on couch interviews, you get the impression of lots of underlying anger and resentment. It's not cute for the camera and not very mature for a 14 year old. Is it said to upset her mom? Getting to design your own cake at 11 is awesome. M L A at times displayed behavior that was unpleasant and Kate quickly tried to correct. Explaining C situation on the show was a good idea to prevent speculation on the part of the tabloids. However, I think it could have been done with far less details. I wish him all the best. I felt sorry for him during the gum and bear incident.
And every single solitary person who met them said they were normal, well-behaved angels.
So TFW says. Personally, I don't see it.
They are rude, entitled, screaming brats. I'm surprised that they have *any* friends. Especially the girls.
If my kid was friends with a kid like that, I would be doing everything to discourage that friendship.
And as an adult having to deal with that kind of behavior, I would definitely *not* be thinking that they were the most best behaved kids ever. I would be thinking that I would be happy when I no longer had to interact with them, and feel sorry for whoever came after me.
Alexis may not be far behind Collin in leaving the school.JMO. I didn't watch , but it seems she is avoided along with Collin by siblings and peers. We could see signs of issues in the old episodes, I agree, librarylady ,and certain behaviors in the two of those children. We know how Kate dealt with it: corporal punishment, extended time-outs, ignoring, being cruel, and banishing A to the basement. Those two can be sweet and funny but we have no idea how they really perform at home and school. The tup girls and Mady are pretty bad on camera, and Collin very polite and zoned-out, but who knows what goes on in that McMansion.*shudder*
I hope it's not a boarding school; I would much rather see any kids banished by Kate with Jon.
I did not watch. I usually catch a repeat after the rating have been tallied. The comments I read here before I view the show are spot on and insightful.
My heart breaks for that poor little guy. I hope this change will be good for him. He is still living in her harshly controlled environment. 11 is such a tender age.
Localyocul said... 95 After the lunch scene, Kate says they have to leave at noon, giving them 2.5 hours to get ready. So she fed them lunch at 9:30am?? Either the editing was bad or they faked the lunch scene. ... I noticed that and wondered if I heard wrong ---- The original comment was mine & it appears that we did hear it wrong. I thought she said they had to leave at noon - but she actually said that it WAS noon. (Just wanted to be accurate in my discussion of the show.)
At the beginning of the show, Aaden roughly grabs something from Joel, clutches it tightly in his hand & runs off while Joel chases him & throws a pillow at him etc. When I realized it was Zorro that he had grabbed, I nearly had a heart attack. I can't believe the bird is still alive.
I didn't think the birthday behaviour was all that bad - except for the 'accidental' pushing & then subsequent retaliation scene, I thought it looked like a bunch of typical 11 years old acting like...11 year olds.
For those of you who bit the bullet last night and watched the show, do you have a list of advertisers?
Back to my OT comment re: Celebrity Apprentice for a moment. Mark Cuban would be a great choice to replace Trump and the 'tasks' would probably be a lot better.
http://radaronline.com/celebrity-news/kate-gosselin-changed-monster-mom-keeps-cool-sextuplets-birthday-party/ ****** Yes, Kate's mouth is starting to look really weird-like Steven Tyler. Mady and Cara had full hair and makeup for their interview. Did Cara utter a word in last night's episode??
I love when TFW fabricates conversations she has with her imaginary mom friends:
"My house is going to be like one big atomic bomb this afternoon. I already know. You know the post sleepover dread of all parents. We all discuss it, we all apologize in advance. We all try to get the kids to go to sleep. They never do. We always warn that if they come home grouchy, they're never going to another sleepover. We always send them the next time. What's wrong with us. Isn't that the cycle? That's the way it always goes. Oh, yeah."
Um, no, TFW. We don't all focus on the negative and ignore all of the positive things that happen. We don't constantly threaten our kids to get them to "behave". We don't all make it about us. We don't give them noisemakers, then confiscate them. We don't make creepy jokes about strip searching children. We don't bitch and moan about how hard it is to raise our 8 healthy children while living in the lap of luxury. That would just be you.....so, who is the "we all" that you are talking to? The other voices in your head? She lives in a universe that is a complete projection of her own dysfunction.
I don't normally comment on her looks, but, just like my mother always warned, her face is starting to freeze into a permanent grimace.
It looks like the party was fun for the kids, in spite of (certainly not because of) TFW. It was nothing special, and her continual self-congratulations is annoying.
As far as her comments about C: What she said was not the problem--it is that she said it on television. She must be very disappointed that C can't will away his problems, but, I am glad he is getting help. I also wonder if there will be a change in his address to go along with the change of school. Most private schools are just not equipped to deal with pronounced behavioral issues and learning disabilities. My daughter is a kindergarten teacher in a private school, and parents have to pay for their own aid, if needed. They just don't have the resources to deal with a child who cannot keep up, and , of course, they have to protect the other students and staff.
I think that she often keeps C and A separate from the others, because they instigate fighting and argument. It was notable that there was very little of that behavior in her birthday special, when they were separated for some of the activities. Behavioral problems and learning disabilities can happen in any family. I agree with most here that she is a less than mediocre in her parenting . I am glad to see that someone (the school?) has finally broken through her denial, and that he is getting a change that will hopefully help him. But, never should have been publicly announced. And, obviously, it was a prepared statement.

Another no here, Kate. My kids attended and hosted many sleepovers without incident and had lots of fun. I was happy to arrange them, make sure every guest was settled and having fun, and my own kids' behavior was fine. They were happy having sleepovers and knew how to behave.sure, the kids may be tired the next day, but that never became a temper tantrum. My kids are not unique- kids love sleepover and most moms are please to arrange them- pizza, movie, snacks, extra pillows, maybe a band-aid now and then, a child who forgot something, a few no more talking warnings, easy breakfast the next day, that's it.No masterminding needed.Flashlight tag, charades, Twister, board games, video games, jokes, all arranged by the kids.
Has anyone caught the credits at the end of the show? Since many the comments here about the last 2 shows being so horribly produced if these shows are being by produced by Kate and Steve's production company and not Figure 8?

********* If Colin's issues involve social and emotional challenges, not just intelligence/can't keep up needs a tutor all the time-type issues, then I have to believe that Kate kept this hidden. I don't think anyone would condone allowing cameras into the home, invading privacy and broadcasting the problems of a kid who's facing great challenges. The reason being is that the downside of the public exposure and scrutiny is just too great and could potentially make his life harder.
As if it isn't going to be hard enough for those kids when the full realization of their privacy invasion sinks in.
I was sad to hear about how Kate had to publicly announce Collin's situation, but as has been said, it's better it came from her rather than the tabloids.
Sounds like the kids' birthday was more of the same old bickering and acting out by them. WHY do Kate and TLC consider this entertainment? It doesn't matter what scripted adventure TLC provides for them, this is always what stands out and I just "don't get it".
I highly doubt he will be going to a public school, considering the demands she must make regarding time off for filming, security needs (in her mind), etc. Public schools will not accomodate those. I seem to remember one boy doing that in the old garage, and Kate said he was her helper boy. I just thought, hmmm......
If her announcement about Collin's needs was made known to her by professionals a while ago, I wonder if that caused her to have shingles because, if I remember correctly, she said she was experiencing a lot of stress.
She has the nerve to talk about stress while she dismisses Collin's birthday gift and then announces to the audience he has special needs. My heart aches for that sad little fellow. I hope finally he will get the special attention he has been lacking and thrives in a better (for him) environment.
I've found it very difficult reading the comments from those who watched last night but I thank those who did.
I just hope that TFW and TLC don't see Collin as part of a new 'entertainment' package to keep the family's challenges in the public domain.

I watched the clip that is on USWeekly and those girls...certainly act VERY entitled. Wow. Just wow. You could tell it was eating L & H up that the boys got better accommodations. Probably the first time and the last time if they have any say and they certainly sound like they've got plenty to say.
Tucker's Mom said... 1 TLC stinks said... 182 Sees to me the reason she announced about Collin on the show because it was going to come out eventually anyway. This way she controlled the narrative. We are an insightful group and knew all along Collin has issues, probably from birth, considering the way Kate has always treated him. ****** Yes, it's been apparent that some of the kids have special needs and I can't speculate publicly, but I think we all have an inkling as to what might be going on. Many children grow up with these needs and I think with the right environment, Colin will flourish. I can only pray that this somehow forces Kate's hand to get the cameras out of his face, even if it takes a court order or professionals speaking out publicly.

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
You are speculating, you're just not using "the word." Everyone knows exactly what you are talking about, so why not be honest and just say it? If Collin is on the autism spectrum, there is no shame in it. He will not be forced to wear a scarlet A.
Unless he needs a school solely devoted to children with special needs, Collin may go to a public school where his IEP guidelines can be met. Even good private schools don't have the resources to help these children who often have very specific needs in not just learning but psychiatric and physical issues. The law mandates that a child be placed in the least restrictive educational environment. I noticed that he was often alone - skating, at the beach, at the house, during the couch interviews. As we've been saying for years, it's been clear that something wasn't right. Jon called it a long time ago.
Anybody who has stayed in a hotel knows a suite has a sofa bed and one bed in the adjoining room,
----- -----
Not always. It depends upon the configuration of the room, and many hotels have various sleeping accommodations that they call suites. I just booked one in a hotel that was called simply, a "suite," but it has two rooms, one with a queen bed and one with two double beds. The two-bedroom suite had a king bed in one room, and one double bed and a sleeper sofa in the other.
Kate should have checked on what a "suite" was at this particular hotel. If it wasn't her responsibility, and if TLC was doing the bookings, then they should have made sure there were enough beds for everyone.

Kate and the twins have really bad complexions but thankfully the twins can grow out of theirs. Kate's is probably due to poor diet.
BM: I hope she is not going to use the pity/handicap card to keep the show on the air. This kid is going to be teased at school. Kate is treating Colin different, Kate sat with all the tups except Colin, then she disses him for the second time on TV. Her Colin speech, then on her birthday, disses him on his present. SHAMEFUL!
Remember Kate had a fit about one of the kids wearing glasses, which in her mind, a less than perfect child, he was not like the set, the rest. Well she is treating Colin, like that, he ruined the 6pk, set. Kate, THEY ARE INDIVIDUALS! Get over it. If he reminds you of Jon, get over it! Colin is still a part of you get over it!
A fancy shmancy pubic school could end up being the worst thing for a child with different needs nut Kate's the type of mother who would put status over a child's needs until the school decides that child is no longer suitable for their class.
----- -----
I'm not sure that they have 'pubic' schools in her area!
So sad that something that should be so private for Collin is now out for public discussion soley because his mother chooses to exploit her children so that she can continue to liver her posh lifestyle.
I know nothing about autism, but I do know a few things about OCD. I thought it was noteworthy that a toddler just new to big boy underwear was so particular about order and staying clean. I said so on another blog before I found this one.
You'd think someone trained to be a nurse would have the fortitude to pick up a few smelly socks without making a production out of it. How did that thing ever empty a bedpan when she was in training or did she suck someone else into doing that for her, too?
I just had a thought. Maybe back when TLC dumped the show they gave her an ultimatum after the RV episode. Get help for yourself and we will talk about bringing you back on tv. (similar to C getting help to get back in school) So she got meds and convinced them to bring her show back.
“This is a work in progress for him that we’ve sought many specialists help on,” she said. “There’s changes coming for him. I think it will result in a change of school for him for this upcoming year and beyond that, we’ll see.”
And who exactly is "we"? I thought Jon was dead and she was doing it all alone.....
Pym (#28), I didn't think that comment from the previous page was yours. I've seen your name here over the years, and that didn't sound like your vibe. I think someone was trying to make herself/himself feel better by being unkind to a regular poster.
I have a feeling we may have some barnyard visitors now that the topic has changed from the birthday present rejection to the education situation. Watch out for droppings! But the real question is: how will TFW spin this whole school thing to make it Jon's fault? If there's a way, she'll find it.
Oh, and the boys were told to shower because they're dirty and icky and they smell like "boy."
I have been lurking since the early GWOP days and I seem to remember reading that two of the tups received services from Easter Seals when they were babies. I believe Kate may have dropped the ball on those two and now is being forced to get the kinds of therapy that should have continued from way back then.
Praying C gets the best care and thrives despite his mom.
AuntieAnn (#66), as someone said yesterday, all that scene did was confirm that TFW doesn't really do the laundry. Mustn't she be washing sweaty lacrosse uniforms every week? If so, some dirty socks wouldn't be pushing her over the edge.
Now that one child has been singled out as having some emotional problems, perhaps now is the time for that fictional annual "family vote" about filming to be vetoed by a caring, attentive mother's decision to pull the plug. Too bad TFW isn't that mother.
The LCDS is a school that excels in education. They expect a child to do extremely well in school. For Colin, this kind of education, is probably to much, too fast, too hard. He probably needs a school that is a bit slower. Colin is not stupid, not slow, but sometimes some schools are not the right fit. Plus there is the comparing and competition with his sibs. I think Colin would do fine, probably excel in a public school. Even a religious one. Where he can shine, not be part of the 6 pk.
When Colin gave his mom, that bear with the cub, he was trying to say to Kate, Hey, I'm an individual, this bear & cub is you & me, no one else. I'm tired of being compared, and thought of as part of a team/6pk,/set. That kid wants Kate to recognize & treat him as a separate, individual. Hey, I'm your son, not a 6pk. He see things differently. Not everyone fits into the common mold. Kate can't comprehend that. What if one of the boys or one of the girls dressed like the opposite sex, I wonder how Kate would react to that? JMO
You would think spending 100K's of dollars to a private school that they could take care of everything. I know it is eating her alive that possibly one of the kids HAS to be either homeschooled or in public school. It's so mediocre.
She is totally to blame for this. Beating the hell out of a toddler into his crib for having a simple potty accident, scream bloody murder at him, threatening him that she was going to throw away his lovey bear. A bear that comforted him when his Mommy was mean to him. Gripping about his big `ol head inside her when she was pregnant. What about the other 5 heads? They didn't bother you? She has always singled this poor kid out from before birth!
The severe abuse, the beatings, belittling, verbal, the physical labor of a MAN's job chicken caretaker, possibly the one who was manhandled less than an inch from a big pile of dog feces in his face, the impaction on Colin is manifesting into something that is really affecting him in his schooling and social life. Lord, have mercy, that poor KID!
There was a reason why Robert dedicated KG:HSFTW. It is now rearing it's ugly head.
This is textbook, classic whipping boy. And his name is Colin.
UGH! Just saw a promo for Bobby and Jamie Deen's new show, Southern Fried Road Trip. They are going to be in my neck of the woods. They are going to stuff food and ride the gyro at Space Camp.
Did the G8 ever go to Space Camp? I don't think they did. Wow, you would think TFW would of been thrilled to be able to get a pay check for filming them at Space Camp.
But, she should of sent them ALL in one summer. Send M & C. Then let the tups decide who goes with who but only 2 at a time and one girl and one boy. So 3 sets of a boy and a girl. So the girls would get more time with their brothers and they could interact with other kids instead of their siblings constantly in each others space.
Now that one child has been singled out as having some emotional problems, perhaps now is the time for that fictional annual "family vote" about filming to be vetoed by a caring, attentive mother's decision to pull the plug. Too bad TFW isn't that mother.

She's no mother. She sullies the very word. She's nothing but a gestational carrier and as mean and ugly as the freaking Xenomorph queen from Aliens. She makes you want to scream "Get away from those kids, you BITCH!!!"

That's interesting, because I read that comment and knew right away it didn't sound like you.
The articles about C are hitting the tabloids now.

I'd bet my last dollar that there are tweets out there to point out this blatant hypocrisy of yours. You are a total tool.
And Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians. Enjoy your celebrations.
Everyone seems to be vilifying the author of the ROL article but shouldn't it really be TFW who is vilified? After all, if she hadn't brought it up on national TV they wouldn't have anything to write about. She knew that something would be written and now she can continue to play the victim and spin it that the tabloids will stoop to new lows to write negative things about her. IMO it's all on her. I'd like to see Jon's rebuttal. According to the fans, he was a dick to say anything but she's a saint because she's looking after the best interests of the kids.
I do like the way that every article points out that she's 40.

I work in a public school system in special education. I don't watch the show; only needed a few early shows to see that something wasn't right with Kate. C. could certainly have his educational, social and emotional needs met in public school. Public schools today provide services to students who used to be institutionalized but today live at home with family. The only students who are sent to a private school, from my district, are typically, non-verbal and very physically aggressive. They tend to have severe autism and or significant mental health issues. I work with many non-verbal students, some of whom are aggressive at times. The aggression is frequently due to inability to communicate their needs and wants. When a communication system is in place (picture symbols, iPad, etc) and used appropriately, the aggression usually decreases. If students with these issues can be serviced in public school, then certainly a verbal, bright, sensitive boy like C. can do very well given the services he requires in the least restrictive, supportive environment. I wouldn't speculate as to a diagnosis; all students need to be considered as individuals with unique strengths and challenges. I wish him well!
Light It Up Blue said... 55 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I was actually thinking of another Dx that begins with A and the often- accompanying O and yet another O. Shows we just don't know. Some of these are treated with meds and some with therapy and educational accommodations. No shame.
We all realized for a long time something was going on with Collin. Why was she keeping him from Jon? It must have gotten to a point where the school said enough. Typical Kate: putting herself first. And the filming. Because of her inaction, that child has been miserable for years. For years!
What was said, as reported in ROL, sounds like she was just reciting a PR blurb. Her statement was too concise, very unKatelike.
I am happy for Collin to get the help he needs rather than be abused.
From Kate's comments re: Colin “At times his inability to problem solve in a social setting leaves him frustrated and overwhelmed with the situation,” she continued. This observation from the"overwhelmed mother of all meltdowns in public places." Kate is describing herself. It's abhorrent that, with TLC's complicity, she is publicizing her son's issues to the world to forever remain on the internet. She is spinning "the story" as Colin having the issues. She will never recognize or own that she is most likely a big part of the reasons he is in this situation. He appears to be a sensitive, articulate child. After seeing the behaviour of the 3 tup girls in a clip from the show, it's clear that a child such as Colin doesn't stand a chance of thriving in such an environment, especially when he has no emotional support from his own mother. I believe that Kate has thrown her son to the lions to save her own face. She doesn't know how to parent Colin effectively and is too "overwhelmed" to deal with the challenges that lie ahead. She wants the public to believe that she is not part of Colin's problems. She is afraid of what lies ahead and wants to be totally blameless in the public's eye. Kate and TLC are completely amoral in the treatment of these children.
TLC Stinks (#90), I suspect you're right about the groundwork. I think TFW is positively desperate to be be back in the spotlight. And if that means selling out her child, then so be it. Will Gladys be helpful enough to point TFW to the Radar article, and act indignant that the tabloids picked up this story? Which was SPOON FED to America on national TV last night? This is exactly what TFW wanted. Attention = interest = TV time. She truly makes me sick.
It makes me wonder if she isn't setting up the back story for C to no longer participate in the filming. The specialists they have consulted regarding his needs could have easily said filming is stressful on him. If he no longer appears on the show she can just say that his specialized needs and different school have made it where he doesn't have the time to film. She would never ever admit that the filming was harmful.
He already missed an appearance on the couch interview..I really think something happened to stop him from appearing in a couch segment after they filmed the party, which was immediately after school let out. Maybe he told a judge at a custody conference that he hates filming, and the judge said he can't be forced, and this is TFW's way of both explaining his absence and punishing him but outing him.

Here are some of Milo's tweets from November 2013 about Jon after he said that some of the kids had problems. Of course, she has deleted those tweets. Luckily, some people copied and pasted them here.
Fired Up 4 Kate @MiloandJack 11m @Kateplusmy8 Deplorable, ur EX ..who claims 2want privacy gave yet another interview glorifying himself & threw ur kids "under the bus"! :(

Fired Up 4 Kate@MiloandJack @PatriciaChow1 @LEIGHSHAHAN1 @Kateplusmy8 Twins already got wise 2him...he will soon alienate the tups! Shameful 2embarrass kids that way!
So it's "shameful" for Jon to speak about his kids' problems and he's embarrassing them by doing so, BUT it's "refreshing" that Kate not only talks about one kid's problem, but also names him.
I wish Milo would explain how Kate's talking publicly about Collin is not embarrassing to him or throwing him under the bus?
Light It Up Blue said... 55 You are speculating, you're just not using "the word." Everyone knows exactly what you are talking about, so why not be honest and just say it? If Collin is on the autism spectrum, there is no shame in it. He will not be forced to wear a scarlet A. ***************** If Collin is on the autism spectrum, he is on the high-functioning end. My niece is severely autistic and it breaks my heart, because she's 20 years old now and I don't think she'll ever improve from the way she is now. She (and her mother, on her behalf) suffers quite a lot - certain sounds and noises will set her off; she has a lot of digestive issues; she can speak and communicate but she can't write, she can't color in the lines, etc. etc. She'll need lifelong care, which probably means ending up in a group home of some kind when my sister can no longer care for her.

****** I would think that Collin will be placed in a local public school, which has the state-mandated resources for whatever his diagnosis might be. My sister (Downs syndrome) and my niece (autistic) both were in the special needs classes at public schools.
Could Collin already be living full time with Jon? We're suggesting he might already be in a different school. It could be a school in Jon's neighborhood. Then Jon wanted to make this a permanent arrangement so he went to court. To be clear, I am only thinking out loud here.
KIAT (#98), thanks for finding those tweets. So Gladys said it was "deplorable" when Jon admitted some of his kids were struggling. Poor Gladys -- betrayed by her own words. And she refers to the children as "ur kids" to TFW. No, you pathetic brown noser, those kids belong to TFW AND Jon.
The ratings are out and they are down just a little from last week. 1.034 million viewers and a 0.27 rating.
I'm surprised the numbers weren't higher. The tups b'day last year averaged over 2 million and the January specials averages 1.5 million.
We know they are still filming this summer since the episode last night didn't have any of the Dutch waterpark footage in it. I think it is make or break time for Kate. Those numbers don't justify a regular series. The season they are filming this summer will probably air in December or January. If the numbers don't improve I'm hopeful TLC will just drop back to filming specials like the tups turning 13 in a couple of years.
So this so-called mother and former (shitty) nurse did not recognize that perhaps Collin, at the young age of two, needed something other than a good whooping and pitched into the crib by his hair because, in her very words, "he doesn't know how to handle his frustration and anger" ? Was she too busy lining up her future with Discovery to have him worked up by a specialist? Was she too overwhelmed by all the attention she was garnering for giving birth to a litter of kids? Too lazy? Too afraid her dreams of fame and fortune would be dashed?
How is she going to weasel her way out of this one?

Sounds perfectly plausible! And she can even say she'd mentioned previously that if any child didn't want to film, that would be fine - thus setting the stage for any other "defectees".
The problem with Kate is, she wants others to fix people & things. Kate does not know how to relate to C, or understand him. Most of the family says he is the artist, well Kate, put him in art classes, with out his sibs in them. Not everyone is a scholar, in school and not everyone is an artist. Some kids are both, they are the lucky ones. I would put a kid like C in art classes, and then hang his art on my walls, and brag about my artist kid, just as I would any of the other kids, in sports, music & interests. Kate is trying to mold all of those kids into her bucket list mold. Some of us don't fit the mold. C could be the next Gates. but Kate does not see that. To her they have to fit in this mold, of her making.
I also wonder if the divorce, is playing a big part in C issues. He maybe acting out, and blaming himself, when the only blame here is Kate. She did not want to even get marriage therapy to save her marriage. They were to do Dr Phil, but my problem with Dr Phil, is that he wanted to save the brand, not the marriage. The divorce did not help, especially when you have a mother who gets verbal revenge any way she can, by dissing their father. How does one think a child is going to react to that. You love your father but you mother is dissing him, to the world. Shameful!

So true but TFW has never known how to parent her children effectively.
I am shaking my head at the latest bombshell she dropped on Collin. She is such an abuser in all ways.
I am almost incoherent at this moment but luckily all the posters here have not lost the ability to articulate the horror that is TFW. Shame on her.
While I know that Dr. Phil can be a questionable source, sometimes he does make sense. He has said that abuse changes a person, and can change a person's brain. I wouldn't be surprised if Collin has been changed from who he was meant to be by the abuse and neglect of his horror of a mother. Shame on her.
Thanks for the ratings MikeB. I'll bet she's shitting her pants right about now since the numbers haven't been great.
If she does any interviews she'll be walking a very fine line because I will bet that one of the main questions will be if she thinks filming hurt him in the long run AND I'll bet that they'll be equipped with statistics showing just how much it's been show to hurt kids. At this point in time a fluff interview just won't fly and she's not the media darling that she once was. Her ratings are OK but not good enough for TLC to give her their full backing. After the Dugger debacle they can't afford to back another douche. But, I could be wrong and she may well get a couple of fluff interviews so she can crow about what a wonderful mother she is to recognize the problem and do something about it.
Well, Kate I hope you are happy. Now it starts. You and your big mouth, could not stay silent about C. Was this a PR stunt, for a pity card? for ratings? new show? Shameful!
Now on her TL, her goofy fans want to know what school he is going to and does he have aspergers. Nothing like labeling your kid. Blasting, private info to the world, and then saying to the world, you have no business criticizing me. Hey, Kate you put it out there, so get out of TV or shut up! Jon was right, Kate, you are an asshole. This kid has to live with this for the rest of his life. There is nothing wrong with him, it's you Kate!
Another longtime lurker…felt compelled to comment on C. Like everyone here, I felt so bad for him when his mom not only dismissed his gift, but mocked his choice. It bothers me even more now, knowing that she was aware of these issues at the time. We are all familiar with how she treated C as an infant/toddler. I find the more recent instances, caught on camera, even more telling. (I too can only imagine what goes on when they aren’t filming.) TFW’s responses to his clothing choices and his comment about his sister’s hair certainly seemed odd. However, when she callously swept all the books he had neatly stacked off the shelves in the yard sale episode, I was beside myself. She sternly insisted he redo them, library-style. The books could have easily been turned so the spine was displayed or C could have readjusted them while they were still on shelf. Her reaction was so vindictive. Re-watch the dune buggy scene with C in front seat with TFW. Another harsh response. Sadly, even with TFW’s nursing background, she seems ill-equipped to deal with any type of behavioral issue that requires special care. TFW thrives in a world of regimented routines and immediate compliance. C, through no fault of his own, may be unable to respond well to these demands. I hope for C’s sake, TFW is willing/able to adapt to his needs. I also hope that C’s siblings will be encouraged to demonstrate patience and acceptance. I will be curious to see if a “specialist” thinks being on a reality show is in C’s best interest. I’m sure TFW will insist C is use to this lifestyle and that it would be disruptive for him, if this incredible opportunity was taken away. I simply can’t imagine that a professional would believe that being around this manufactured drama (whether directly participating in a scene or not) would be beneficial in C’s circumstance. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how TFW/TLC handles this. Seems like a no-brainer given TFW emphatically insists that filming is a family decision, etc. Will a broken marriage be just the beginning… One last thing - Did anyone else catch the comment about H and that she seems to struggle the most with the divorce? Sorry if I repeated anyone else’s thoughts and thanks for letting me get this off my chest.

She didn't even break into the top hundred on TV by the Numbers this week. And she had a pretty strong lead-in from The Little Couple at 9 p.m., which had 1.661mm viewers and an 0.4 share. Oops! And then you have to wonder how many people tune in just to snark about her. Too bad, so sad, Katie--the ship is going down. :)
It could be possible he is in boarding school which is not a bad thing. I sent my oldest boy from CA to MA from age 14 to 19 to a year round therapeutic boarding school. He had behavior and learning problems and we were afraid of him. He could not make friends because he shut everyone out. It was the best thing for him. After a few years he won all the award for math and science. He gained such self confidence which are not easy for him or may I say for the school either. He is a very gentle soul now. He went on to an aeronautical university and got a BS in Electrical Engineer and Computer Science. He is now lead engineer for an aeronautical company. I probably don't know my son very well but the purpose of sending him away was to make a good productive adult and he is. About 10 years ago I asked him if he knew why I sent him away and he shook his yes.
I hope C and gets the support my son got. I just watch a little bit here and there of the show because it is just too painful to see. I don't think public school will be right for C but it should be a specialty school.
Swingsandroundabouts (#108), thanks for your comment. I think many of us feel equally shocked and saddened and at a loss for words about this awful situation. And you (and Dr. Phil) may be right about the long-term effects of physical and mental abuse. The brain may have to "recalibrate" to function around the damage.
Dwindle, are you still out there? Some cyber hand-holding may be necessary as we wade through this morass.
Thanks to those who wished my fellow Canucks and me a Happy Canada Day. Unfortunately it is wet and dreary where I am so I think that some planned activities have had to be cancelled.

It's too bad it took what it took to get a child individual treatment, but it is what it is. He's a cool kid and I'm rooting for him.
Thanks to those who wished my fellow Canucks and me a Happy Canada Day.

Yes, and ditto. I should have acknowledged the good wishes, too but the latest ugliness from that termite is so disgusting it didn't feel like a happy day at all. Why is she getting not only a platform for her abuse, but a big, fat paycheck on top of it? There's something seriously wrong with this picture.
There is nothing wrong with him, it's you Kate! ******** I think Colin needs individual attention for the way he's developing, so I don't think it's Kate in that manner. What I do think is Kate, is ignoring the signs for so long, in hopes of keeping her 6-pack doing the same things and the same time, so filming can continue smoothly.
I'd love to see Kate try to justify taking Colin away from schooling and/or prescribed therapies for the sake of filming now.
I'd love to see her justify the added stressors that being a famous reality tv child puts on Colin as well.
I see the ratings continued their downward trend. Still waiting for the show to drop below 1 million. I won't be long at this rate. I wonder if TLC will bother to film another season. The listings said this was season 3, episode 8--so, there should be 2 more episodes coming in this season. Probably a trip, to be aired later this year.
I'm sure that the execs at TLC know by now that Kate Plus 8 will not fill the spot left by the Duggars. They averaged 2-3 million an episode. K+8 could never do that. TLC needs to find a hit show to bring in those numbers. Better keep looking, because that's something the Gosselins will never be able to deliver.
If there was ever a time for Paul Petersen to write another article, today's ROL story provide the perfect subject matter. I hope he puts something out.
C could be the next Gates. but Kate does not see that. To her they have to fit in this mold, of her making. ***** Oh, so true. All of these kids could benefit from going their own separate ways, like to camp, or hobbies or sports. The biggest obstacle is filming, imo. No other number rhymes with Kate, dontcha know?
but my problem with Dr Phil, is that he wanted to save the brand, not the marriage. ******* I thought that too for the longest time, but now, I'm not so sure. I think Dr. Phil might have had the long-term health of the family unit in mind when he agreed to help them, but with Kate, you know all she wanted was a solution to keep the gravy train rolling along.
Is Collin the boy Kate was filmed smacking as she closed the refrigerator door? He is the one who was picked up by the hair and slammed into his crib, he was the one she was pictured smacking in the mouth, he is the one whose gift she ridiculed. And then there was gum-gate and also the constipation at the furniture store. He was the one who got an endless lecture for criticizing his sister's hair (and she told him to say, "I've seen it look better"!!! I guess if he has problems with social skills, we know where they came from). He was the one she mocked for having a big head. And he is the one tup who apparently does not see his father. And yet he is probably the one who needs his father the most. I have a feeling that things are not going to work out well for him, and that breaks my heart.
I have a feeling that things are not going to work out well for him, and that breaks my heart.

I have to respectfully disagree Layla. In her ignorance, Kate opened her mouth to save herself but inadvertently unlatched a Pandora's Box full of evidence of her absolutely abominable parenting skills. She cast a light on the dark corner of one of her children's lives. I think he will benefit by this and finally get the nurturing he desperately needs, even if it is not by Kate.
Oh and I can hear the distant bleating of the wooly minions drawing nearer. I hope the staff pool girls are prepared for the onslaught of little stomping hooves.
I cannot even think about how badly she has treated Collin. It was probably way worse behind closed doors, but his siblings know.
We knew Collin had been singled out by her because, I guess, he would not "conform". My God, what did she do to him to make Hannah so hysterical about returning home?
There is a huge scandal brewing here. TLC, I believe, will air what they have filmed but must be considering the risk of her abuse going public. Mark my words: it will.

From your lips to God's ears. I really hope that TLC ceases to exist. We really need to be promoting a complete and total boycott of TLC.
I wish I could scoop him into my arms, hug him so close, tell him how much he is loved, and how much he really does matter. TFW does not deserve to have those children, not at all. She is really missing the 'mom' gene, and has a cold heart.
It's nice seeing new & infrequent posters responding to TFW's ugly behaviour towards her son. Poor sweet kid, he doesn't have a chance as long as he's in that crazy household. The girls & his own mother eat him alive.
The birthday episode is showing right now. It will be interesting to see if TLC swiffers the Colin remarks.
I didn't watch last night, I don't think I am able to watch it. There's just something about that voice (and I don't care if Kate thinks its her best feature, I can't get past all the lying)

I am still watching! I can't believe I haven't barfed all over the remote. Kate really doesn't like kids, does she? When in the boy's room, she disses the girls, and vice versa.
And yes, she said that H is the one kid that is still dealing with the divorce. There are 5 boys, which means 1 boy didn't get to invite a friend? And Kate, if your kids fight every time you go to another country (LOL), fight about being tired, fight about rooms, etc, maybe you ought to try staying home with your kids. Tell the truth, these vacations are for YOU, not the kids. The kids are only props for your paycheck. And why the crap is she so NEGATIVE? I haven't heard one positive thing come out of her mouth. Yep, when my kids had sleepovers (at our house, how mediocre!) the first thing I did in the morning was do my hair and makeup and put on heels. yep, lol She's ridiculous!
I can't imagine how EASY it would be to have a 'friend we've had forever' (Lisa) help with half the kids....and a restaurant do all the cooking....and the hotel staff clean up the mess..and TLC to plan everything--all Kate had to do was show up. I bet she brought her vino. after all, she survived 11 years. And it's all about her, right?????
I hadn't watched Kate since Jon&Kate +8. I saw the video on Radar. What has happened to Maddy?? She was so cute when she was little. She almost looks like a different person.
As far as Collin, I said a few days ago that he needs to be removed from Kate. He is in a very negative environment . For those that watched did Kate say that the educational problems were behavioral or academic? Just from watching Collin when he was younger I think he is the brightest of all the 8. Kate's treatment of him is causing him to act up at school. That happens all the time with children who are experiencing an abnormal home environment, whether it's a new baby in the family, a divorce or abusive parents. Jon needs to help Collin get out of Kate's grip. Poor little guy.
I knew the ratings were going to go down, I just wish they had been lower!

I understand what you're saying and I do get my jollies when some of these shows dis her, but it bugs my ass that none of them have the balls to ask her these questions and make these comments TO HER FACE!
Whoopie Goldberg and Bethenny Frankel were the only ones who called her on her bullshit and even then, they held back.
And Anderson Cooper? I'm looking at you too. I don't care if you are Admin's boyfriend.
Just watched the eleventh birthday bash. Two things stood out for me. The couch chat with each child. Kates arm extended to the back of the couch and not once did she drop her arm and hug her child!! Good grief woman hug your kids !
Kates couch hairdo. The extentions were hiding her turkey neck.
AuntieAnn (126) I hope you are right and that, going forward, more people are paying attention to what happens to Collin. His little spirit is being crushed by his mother. She needs to feel some heat for the way she treats him and, if necessary, be forced to treat him better. And he needs attention and positive reinforcement from others outside his family. Nobody wants to see him fall through the cracks.
NJGal51 (127) My listing said season 3, episode 8, but that may be incorrect. If so, then season 4 ratings are far below what they were for season 3. Especially if that 3-hour special is included. If so, then the average viewership per episode for season 4 is below 1 million. Perhaps TLC is going with just 5 episodes per season so that they don't get stuck with a long-term contract is ratings are down. Makes sense.
The reason why KK didn't have the sleepover at her house is because. 1. She didn't want those icky kids touching her things in her house remember...All mine 2. Kate is lazy as hell and did want to supervise all the kids in her house. 3.Kate brought Steve along..duh..And she wanted to be in his room at night.
Kates arm extended to the back of the couch and not once did she drop her arm and hug her child!! Good grief woman hug your kids ! ______ Just wait if she keeps her mug on TV you'll see her doing the opposite.
Angie said...There are 5 boys, which means 1 boy didn't get to invite a friend? .................... There were definitely three guests who were boys. One in a bright green t shirt, one in a black coat and one who resembled the boy tups in appearance. There were 4 guests who were girls. One girl much smaller than the others and was not introduced by the girl tups to the camera. Could she have been the daughter of the long time friend. There was a young girl seated next to Maddie when they ate pizza and cake at the twins party at SkyZone. It could be the same girl. Long time lurker
Kate spoke of Hannah being the mommy to the others, the most mature, the one who looked after the kids and who knows when Kate is not feeling alright etc. This was me growing up. I resented having that role. It was stressful and I should have had kid worries only, not sharing my mothers grown up worries. It should not have been encouraged. When H offered to take care of the kids, I wish her mom had said, thanks but that's Nanna X's job, you just need to listen to her. Long time lurker
I watched on demand just now. How sad Collin looked most of the time and no couch interview. Hannah didn't seem upset or uncomfortable with Kate? So much we don't know. Mady was pretty nasty and jealous and Cara goes along with her. Leah is now the tup with the attitude and Alexis is still outcast. The friends seemed nice but the 'helper' did not seem the type Kate would be friends with- paid? Kate sat with two girls at breakfast- were they Laurie's daughters ? And no, it didn't seem like the girls had to shower? ? A pretty lame hour I would say. No BIG gift shown.
I thought C and the 2 other boys were all well behaved. When C and L were packing the van, I really liked that he stood up calmly and maturely to a sister whose behavior needed to be corrected by an adult. I think any other child would have gotten frustrated and angry easily given the sister a push or shove over or shouted. From my couch, he seems to be a great kid. The girls need to learn not to shout or push each other. Long time lurker
Yes, three boys, boy in green shirt, an Asian boy, and a tall dark haired one. I think the girls had four guests, Marley was there with the twins, and I agree the extra girls could be the ones in the other episode- so does that mean Laurie is Forrest's wife? Didn't we conclude the little girl was his daughter?
I'm surprised noone has spoken of this. As they were getting seated, H wearing lace shoes roughly pushed passed L(?) to get to a seat first. L's foot got trod upon and she was wearing open sandals. L turns and pushed H. K makes L apologise several times to H. H was clearly wrong first, but she does not own up to it. K might not have seen H push first. Long time Lurker
Longtime Lurker (#145), I also found it disturbing that H was saddled with the role of helper at such an early age. Heck, she was only about 2 when she had that description during the opening credits, spoken by TFW: "H is the leader, and Mommy's helper." That's when America also learned that C was "stubborn," and J was "sneaky." But TFW could only see dollar signs -- then, and now.
I really like all three boys. They are just the sweetest things. The girls? Awful, awful, awful. They appear to be Mini Kates. Then again, my son was the sweetest teen; my daughter was a handful, but she still wasn't as bad as those girls. Their behavior in front of their friends and the adults was out of line. And what gets me is that Ms. Disciplinarian let them rant because it was "good TV". I think she orders them around at home but basically they interact only with each other. Kate is not involved at all with these kids except when there is filming or punishment.
Formerly Duped said... 151 Wasn't it Alexis who had to apologize? Then she stood up with no seat and sulked. I feel sorry for her, too.////////////////////////////
Thanks. I'm not sure if it was L or A. Long time Lurker
Thanks, PA Dutch mom, for keeping it private about Collin. Proves it was going to come out eventually and Kate/TLC wanted to control the narrative. The question is: will she flat out lie?
&&&&&&&&
Thanks, but there is no need for thanks. There are times when I have to bite my tongue until it bleeds and I'm sure I may need stitches, but I refrain from saying anything when it comes to the children, the school, and what issues they may or may not be having in their academic environment. If Kate wants to put it out there, then what follows as speculation, wild rumors, and invasion of their privacy is on her shoulders. There's a word for her, but I won't repeat it here.
No, I was not the one who commented here some time ago under "anon," swearing that Collin was expelled again. Honest. I would never do that. Never ever.
Layla - It makes more sense that it's all one season of 8-10 episodes. I just went and re-looked and iTunes does have it packaged as two separate seasons. That may just be the way they do it.
The things that stuck out most to me were how rough they seem to be with Zorro and the way Shoka runs around the BBB when she was pulling out. She needs to put a stop to that or he may get hurt when the kids start to drive. Inexperienced drivers may turn in to him rather than away from him. Also, why wasn't anyone wearing a helmet at the skating rink? Aren't they required in PA? You'd think that with the liability issues it would be required.
I counted 6 boys so they each brought a friend. I wonder if they jump on the beds like that at home. I'd would have hated to be in the room under/next to them. All in all it was boring from start to finish.
DaisyGirl (#113), I wanted to thank you for sharing your experience with your own son. It sounds like you decided to do what was best for him, even if it was painful for you. And his emotional growth and professional success seem to prove that you did the right thing. Thanks for your candor.

I tried to watch but it is just soo boring and loud. Does she really think no other parents ever had kid parties? We've all done it, no need to constantly explain it over and over. Actually when my youngest was going into fifth grade, we took a bunch of her friends camping overnight to a state park. Hiking, campfires, smores, glow sticks. They had so much fun and no one whined once where they were sleeping. We took two cars and no one whined once which car or who was going with who. I just cannot take that yelling and fighting and shoving. That is behavior for two year olds.

My mother called me earlier and said, do you have the Lifetime channel and I said, yes. She said you will never believe who is on Celebrity Wife Swap! I was thinking Alan Thicke! haha
She said that they were showing Kendra (she keeps up with Kendra) and that woman that you talk about all the time! haha And I said, Kate Gosselin? And she said yes. She said, I'll let you go. So then I knew that she wanted to get off the phone and watch it.
So, I turned it to the show, Hank and Kate were eating at the golf club. She said that it had been a LOOOOOOONNNNNNNNGGGGGGG time since she had even been out with a guy and for dinner. I immediately grabbed the phone and called my mother and when she answered I said, Did you hear her say that she hadn't been out with a guy in a long time and for dinner? She said yes, and I said, SHE'S LYING THROUGH HER TEETH!
If Gladys watched TFW snub poor C's sweet gift, and then reveal his personal struggles to complete strangers on national TV, and can still tweet with a straight face that TFW is the "BEST possible person to be his his corner," then she is making it clear that she is hopelessly in love with TFW. This is not a "girl crush." This is a romantic obsession, and it's been raging for years. And I still think she is capable of turning on TFW someday.
Someone commented on ROL that PA is lax in their child abuse laws. This is not true. At one time, there were many gray areas as far as the laws were concerned, but when the new laws were enacted this year, they included 20 pieces of new legislation to protect PA kids.

Yes, it's more than a girl crush on a celebrity. This one is a physical lusting, and you're right, this is a very dangerous kind and it will take quite a bit to make her turn on her, but it's totally possible. I think that Kate knows this, and it's why she throws her a bone every so often, but she's also really careful not to show any favoritism toward Milo, as much as Milo begs for it.
Milo is just too darn dumb and in love to see any of this.
Oh and I can hear the distant bleating of the wooly minions drawing nearer. I hope the staff pool girls are prepared for the onslaught of little stomping hooves.

I would say that a lot of big companies are not willing to give her products for free as in the old days/her grifting attempts are not as successful as in the past. After all the flack last year re: the tractor? due to her refusal to make the kids follow basic safety rules and the manufacturer's recommendations, who can blame them?
I'll bet the bigwigs at Double Tree are kicking themselves for letting her film at their hotel after she dissed them about the bed situation in the girl's room.

ha! They could but I don't recall anyone ever being trampled to death by a stampede of runaway sheep.
PA Dutch Mom.......You show more respect and concern for Collin's well-being than his own mother. The very fact you protect him and his privacy shows your integrity and caring.
If Kate cared about her children she would not have allowed their birthday party deteriorate into a screaming match amongst her kids. I am sure the show was framed to bring out the drama, that seems to be the formula and her children are just collateral damage. I did not see the show, just clips on the TLC website, but it seemed contrived to me to bring conflict for ratings.
My speculation on Collin is that he would not participate in the couch interview, perhaps knowing his issues were going to be addressed publicly by his mother. She did not need to bring his issues to the forefront to be televised to the masses, it simply was not necessary. She could have made any excuse for his absence, (he's tired, not feeling well) and said lovely things about him being her helper etc., but that would require integrity and an instinct to protect her child over all else. Instead, she shared his deficiencies, his emotional state and her disdain for him, an 11 year-old child, HER 11 year-old child.
I pray Jon does whatever he can to save his children from further emotional abuse from this despicable human being.
TLC has to be the worse station on TV. Watching a doc of a young boy in India that has a body attached to his abdomen. The condition is called Parasitic Twin. This child has his under developed twin attached to his upper abdomen. It's bad enough that he has this body hanging out, the parts of the twin sticking out is buttocks, testicles and limbs, it's very hard to look at, poor boy.
They are trying to remove the twin but unsure if the rest of the boy is growing inside.
These are the kind of shows TLC is promoting along with Kate +8. I can't even look at her face, she is such a fake. They are shoving her down r down out throat. She gives the kids a party and bitches the entire time. she told them to pack an overnight bag and when they brought it to her she dumped the stuff out and repacked the bag. What message is she sending to her kids, untrusting whore bitch. Her wife swap is on another station.. WTF, I'm betting their is going to be on the fall lineup. Hope her ratings suck and they put her in the garbage.
Question, why does she talk to the kids that way? She can't even act. What a waste of space she is.
Ok, finished venting, please don't ban me from the veranda, lol.
Now Milo's playing the martyr/victim because people were giving her flak about praising Kate for outing Collin's issues.
Fired Up 4 Kate @MiloandJack · 1h1 hour ago Sure not getting any love here tonight. Haters abound. My last thought courtesy Dr. Steve.. pic.twitter.com/ZyExDamge4 @TLC @Kateplusmy8
BTW, when the story came out about Hannah and her not wanting to return to Kate's, Milo had the following to say:
Fired Up 4 Kate @MiloandJack @Kateplusmy8 I know you must be N tears...heartbroken over the breach of privacy for your lil girl. #ShamefulHorribleTabloidExploitation
So if a tabloid prints something about one of the kids problems, it's a breach of privacy, and it is shameful and exploitation, but when Kate does the same thing, it's "refreshing".
Fired Up 4 Kate @MiloandJack @Kateplusmy8 You kept the details of this ordeal quiet..you protected ur lil girls privacy & her identity. You cared..they didn't! #MomLove
So according to Milo, Kate "cared" when she "protected" Hannah's privacy and identity. Now that Kate HASN'T protected Collin's privacy nor identity, that's totally OK with Milo, too.
She's just like her queen Kate. She spins so much to make Kate look good that she just keeps on contradicting what she has said previously. In Milo's world, breach of privacy is not OK if it comes from anyone other than Kate, but if Kate does it, it's wonderful!!
Milo and Kate deserve each other. They're both disgusting!!
In Kate's little recap, she said to Hannah, "you like to make sure I'm ok". Then Hannah says "I can tell when you're not ok" and something about how Kate says she's ok but Hannah knows she's not.
There is so much wrong with this - I don't even know where to start.
@MiloandJack @Kateplusmy8 Last night u complained because fans crowded you out. Tonight it's haters. You want Kate to yourself. U need help. ________ HAHAHA the haters need help wow Milo just wow.
Sleepless, I don't know if she dissed them or not, but the complaining by the girls implies Doubletree inaccurately described the suite. The hotel was dumb to allow the filming anyway. Think of the disturbance for guests. As a paying guest, unlike Kate, I would be furious. I want to chill and I want quiet at a hotel. Also Kate mentioned about them having breakfast in the morning. Can you imagine what a circus that must have been at the hotel?
I've seen a case of idol worship as bad as Milo's. Kate is perfect to her in every way. I bet Kate is the only pseudo celebrity to ever carry on any type of conversation with this lonely person.
****** That sounds like so much fun! I think it would have been a good idea to take that sassy, whining girl home. That would have solved the bed problem.
TLCstinks: What I don't understand, is why the hotel rooms were so far a part? Usually when you book rooms for a family & or party or group of people, you always try to get your rooms together. Cause, we all know how we go back & forth, between rooms. And I don't think where Kate lives they would run out of rooms. Especially if you have kids. I don't get the girls at one end and the boys at the other end. That's crazy, was that done on purpose for the crazy party effect/drama crap. Cause, it was stupid, and it did not work. And yes, the hotels do describe the rooms. There are 2 kings, 2 queens, 1 -4 beds. Kate did not do the booking of the rooms, cause if she really did, she would have with common sense, knew already how many kids there are, would have had the right number of beds. As Kate kept saying that if she did a little more research. PLEASE, Kate, we know you did none,TLC took care of that. And TLC did it for the drama crap! Which turned out to be a dud! Sorry TLC/Kate, that was not reality, that was scripted.
TLC Stinks (#186), breakfast the next day must've been like a rodeo. And I bet TFW wasn't within 100 feet of it. I suspect any hands-on time with the kids -- hers and their guests -- was for the cameras only.
Can you imagine TFW chitchatting with almost 20 kids over bacon and eggs, and then supervising them as they leave the hotel, and greeting each parent who picked them up with a smile and saying how nice it was having little So-And-So at the party? She may even have gotten a suite on a different floor, so the noise wouldn't disturb her sleep. Just think -- she's spent dozens, if not hundreds, of nights away from her kids. She's not a worrier when it comes to their wellbeing. As for the party guests, shrug, well, that's what the paid "friends since forever" were there for.
ok, the part where she's googling on her phone and feigns shock over their picture popping up? !! oh how surprising! are you as gobsmacked when you google just your name? idiot
She sure is controlling their memories, implanting her own version of how things went down. As her and Aaden lovingly reminisce about Cupcakegate, she blatantly leads him and coaches him. Talk about gaslighting! ♪♪See how cute you were? Oh, remember how you didn't eat all your din-din? How adorable your reaction was? How mommy's rules never change? Oh such a sweet moment♪♪ Aaden just smiles, nods and agrees. And talk about body language, it all looked so awkward and painful.
Leah-wow, just wow. And tfw just taking it from her in the hallway? Imagine one of the boys doing the same? She just shuts her mouth and TAKES IT?? And sorry, but that was just Leah throwing a wrench into what was supposed to be fun time...much like tfw does--- the pumpkin carving, the cupcake decorating, her getting sunburned...can't resist NOT having spotlight on them, any way they can get it. They don't even know their doing it.
Poor Colin. How is it that we've only seen him being passive, quiet, polite, obedient and she says HE has trouble controlling impulses etc.? Am I in the twilight zone or something? How is it the GIRLS (H&L) haven't had some kind of school intervention or disciplinary measures? Do the girls behave at school and then let it all out at home? Is Colin so terrified of his mother that he keeps it under control with her and then lets it all out at school? They ALL need INDIVIDUAL help in managing their emotions, their anger, their outburts, their "meltdowns". It leaves as much of a bad taste in your mouth watching those girls as it does watching their mother.
They've had what, 4 or 5 shows this year? Admin, you're going to have to make your annual list a little longer, I think she's outdone herself in just 6 months.
In Kate's little recap, she said to Hannah, "you like to make sure I'm ok". Then Hannah says "I can tell when you're not ok" and something about how Kate says she's ok but Hannah knows she's not.

Definition:
Parentification - A form of role reversal, in which a child is inappropriately given the role of meeting the emotional or physical needs of the parent or of the family’s other children.
Leaning on Little People
Some parents with Personality Disorders attempt to delegate part of the responsibility for meeting either the parent’s own emotional and physical needs, or the emotional and physical needs of other family members, to one of their children.
The usual target is the eldest or most emotionally or physically mature child in the family.

They're in there, probably placed there for who knows how long?? door closed with a camera man or 2, boom mike, all waiting for that bitch to make her grand entrance. UGH!
Vanessa (#191), you mean she actually revisited Cupcakegate? Did they show a clip, or just have her reminiscing with A? What kind of mindf**k was that? Did she take some sort of pride in saying that her rules never change, when it was clear in that scene that the girls got help finishing their food and the boys did not? Mommy also had a "no hitting" rule, but that didn't apply to her. And Mommy had a rule to never enter her bedroom, but now it seems to be Disney Channel Slumber Party Central, as long as you're not an icky boy.
I hope these kids' future psychiatrists have DVD players in their offices, so the adult G children can show what it was like growing up as lab rats. I'm not being flip -- I'm dead serious.

=======================
Every time Kate has a show airing, Milo tries desperately to make sure she gets attention. She's always makes comments like, "Remember your old fans!" She hates when "newbies" come in and steal her thunder. Kate gave Sandy or one of them a few thumbs up during the show and Milo whined to ask if one of them were for HER?
If she really cared about Kate as she claimed, she'd be happy to see that she had new life on her twitter because of an episode. Instead, she hates that Kate might not notice her, her, her for 60 minutes.
Milo's obsession is bizarre, lustful, creepy and not a little frightening. I also think she could turn on her.
Also Kate was pointing out to disinterested tups they 'we" are in Wikipedia and "we" are on the cover of Korean-Am magazine etc...
With the way the girl tups are acting no wonder Mady's nose is out of joint. They are now louder and more sarcastic and argumentative than she is. She seemed to be seething with jealousy while Cara was like, whatever you say...I wonder why the twins had their makeup and hair done in this special and not the others? I don't think that anyone has brought this incident up--it is one of the most memorable instances of how concerned C is about pissing off TFW:
It was the Can Do house manual episode. The kids were told not to touch some hot water hoses (pressure washer?). The kids were tooling around in their cars, and C wanted to go over the hoses--the other kids were all driving back and forth over them. C was looking all over for TFW, with this worried look on his little face. That look just broke my heart. No little boy should live in that kind of fear, which, as we know, is completely appropriate to the situation.
I have 3 children, who all came into the world with distinct personalities. Two of them have learning disabilities and ADD. despite being gifted, both of them struggled because their learning styles were not being addressed. Schools tend to shape IEP's around the skills needed to succeed in school--which are not the same skills required in jobs. They also Abe IEP's on weaknesses. As a parent, I insisted that learning strategies be based on utilizing their strengths--not trying to turn them into cookie cutter versions of themselves. Both of them have been very successful professionally, although their life management skills could use some work! But, it goes with the territory that if you have ADD, as an adult, you will probably misplace your wallet, keys, passport etc on a routine basis. My point is, trying to turn them into perfect students is pointless, and holding up their "perfect student" sister can only worsen the situation. Kids need to have their uniqueness celebrated, not judged and eradicated.
I don't think that everything can be laid at the feet of TFW. Learning differences can happen in the best of families, as do behavioral problems. But, she certainly created a culture of fear and shame, that is so damaging to his self-esteem. And her Alcatrazish theory of child-rearing is a nightmare for a sensitive boy, who, clearly lives in fear of his mother, while desperately needing her love and approval.
She has already lost her power with the twins, and some of the tups are certainly following in their footsteps. C is clearly the scapegoat of the family, and it will only get worse as her control of the tup girls slips away. When C manages to draw her attention, he is bombarded with negative messages. When he is not on her radar, he is neglected (as are all of the boys). No wonder he zones out at time--he is probably disassociating from this toxic relationship with his mother.
I think that the reason she keeps him with her is because he doesn't act out in front of her. How uncharacteristic for TLC to not show flashback scenes of his acting out behavior as she described it. It isn't like they protect their privacy! If nothing else, doesn't this prove that bad behavior cannot be edited in when it doesn't happen? How do the steeple justify their claims that TFW is a victim of editing? oh, wait--that would require logic and reasonableness!
The 'little' girls will soon be into all that. They were arguing on the couch who was prettiest. ************************************************** Yes, that clip was cringe worthy as well. One more nasty personality trait to add t the list, vanity. To be that bold speaking to the adult in the room. Would be more beneficial if it had been a therapist without a camera in front of them. Wonder what they'd make of that discussion.
Virginia Pen Mom (#197), Gladys thinks as long as she puts an "LOL" after her passive/aggressive comments, no one will see through her. But we can. And she does NOT want TFW to have a boyfriend. When the Jeff Millionaire buzz began, she seemed upset, and tweeted again and again that we don't know if it's true or not. And all the "grow-a-boyfriend" jokes that fell flat, but she kept 'em coming. She thinks as long as TFW is alone, she can be there for her as a support system, and be wanted and needed. (sings "Friends" theme) "I'll be there for you, when the rain starts to pour!" Except that song ends with, "'Cause you're there for me, too!" And that is not the case with TFW. It is not a reciprocal friendship. It is a one-sided obsession.
1715 sediments (sic) from readers:
«Oldest ‹Older 1001 – 1200 of 1715 Newer› Newest»I think TFW is extremely angry with Co.
Who's sleeping on what in TFMJG's bedroom?
G'day Admin! Wait -- it's night time there. Never mind! Looking forward to your post about Australia when you get back. In the

Make sure you're sitting down when you read all the comments
in this post. It'll be like a slow-motion train wreck. What's the
Aussie equivalent of Rumspringa?
I'm wondering if there's a school in the area that can accommodate Collin's needs or if he might be going to a boarding school?
Kate can't say to the kids You misbehaved we're going home.
***********
Oh yes she could; that would be called 'parenting' and it actually would have made a MUCH better 'story' to film.
Sickening. You'd think she couldn't sink any lower.
***********
But, then, that would take caring more about her childrens' development than keeping herself on camera, and that's never gonna happen.
Oh, you better believe Her Royal Laziness is majorly pissed about
this change. What about the traditional porch picture on the first
day of school with everyone in their uniforms? And the regular
homework helper (which TFW admitted to having) may not be able
to handle C's curriculum if there is specialized teaching behind it,
so TFW may have to hire additional help. But knowing her, she'll
find a way to get it for free.
Sorry if I didn't use the proper terminology regarding C and
what he might need. I most certainly don't want to imply
anything negative about him -- just the narcissist who is
raising him. Is it wrong to hope she is "over" the whole
new school thing by Christmas, and just lets C live with
his dad?
I expect a ROL article within the next 24 hiurs
Um, honey, you either stop this right now, or we're going home and I'm calling your friends' parents to come pick them up.
End of story.
....
That reminds me of a time my dad was in middle school went to a friends house for an overnight and called me 30 min later. She said the friend was Samsung her mom and her mom sent everyone home. I was impressed
The girls totally are IMITATING their mother. Horrible to watch.
My thought: the new laid back Kate is drug induced. Must be downing something before those cameras roll. Acts like she's in a fog, IMO.
Why has it taken 11 years to get this child the help that has been obviously need? I don't watch this show, can't stand Kate. Putting such private info out on a unreality show on top of dismissing his birthday gift to her is sickening. I hope getting special schooling will bring out Collins path for life.

Layla (#15), not only were the kids meeting expectations but
exceeding them, according to Mom. And every single solitary
person who met them said they were normal, well-behaved

Ugh re my above comment dad=dd and Samsung = sassing
Also remember the zip line when C was so thrilled to be spending time with his brothers?
If so, she's going to have to have not one
but 2 earpieces, a handful of index cards, and TFM in the
wings playing charades, because that's the only way she
won't put her foot in her mouth.
You forgot pic's of the kids hidden in the couch cushions. (How bizarre was that....very weird)
173 on the previous page is not me. I'm not a frequent poster so perhaps someone thought I'm not here that often and would not notice. Wrong.
getofftwitter, appreciate your comments as much as anyone else here.
Name: Long time lurker
At the beginning, when the kids were in the playroom, did anyone notice what looked like a low wooden balance beam.
If Collin isn't going to be part of the 6 pack, here's TFW's opportunity to ditch him.
She'll probably be all too happy to let him go live with Jon now. He's of no further use to her.
And every single solitary
person who met them said they were normal, well-behaved
angels.

Like I said a mellow yellow pill or she spiked some Mellow Yellow. She was definitely buzzed/medicated.
Sad. Unforgivable.

After the lunch scene, Kate says they have to leave at noon, giving them 2.5 hours to get ready. So she fed them lunch at 9:30am?? Either the editing was bad or they faked the lunch scene.
...
I noticed that and wondered if I heard wrong
----
The original comment was mine & it appears that we did hear it wrong.
Kate's comments about Colin sounded very "clinical". Sounded like she was reading from an official report written by a specialist.
Why did all the boys have to take a shower when they got to the hotel room? I didn't hear the girls being given that command.

Yes, Kate's mouth is starting to look really weird-like Steven Tyler.

If Colin's issues involve social and emotional challenges, not just intelligence/can't keep up needs a tutor all the time-type issues, then I have to believe that Kate kept this hidden.

Sees to me the reason she announced about Collin on the show because it was going to come out eventually anyway. This way she controlled the narrative. We are an insightful group and knew all along Collin has issues, probably from birth, considering the way Kate has always treated him.

Yes, it's been apparent that some of the kids have special needs and I can't speculate publicly, but I think we all have an inkling as to what might be going on.
Many children grow up with these needs and I think with the right environment, Colin will flourish.
I can only pray that this somehow forces Kate's hand to get the cameras out of his face, even if it takes a court order or professionals speaking out publicly.

Anybody who has stayed in a hotel knows a suite has a sofa bed and one bed in the adjoining room,
-----
-----

I think that they probably demanded hair and make-up becasue their complexions are really, really bad.
SHAMEFUL!
Remember Kate had a fit about one of the kids wearing glasses, which in her mind, a less than perfect child, he was not like the set, the rest. didn't sound like your vibe. I think someone was trying to make
herself/himself feel better by being unkind to a regular poster.
I have a feeling we may have some barnyard visitors now that
the topic has changed from the birthday present rejection to
the education situation. Watch out for droppings! But the
real question is: how will TFW spin this whole school thing
to make it Jon's fault? If there's a way, she'll find it.
Oh, and the boys were told to shower because they're dirty
and icky and they smell like "boy."
Back to lurking.

Some comments on the ROL article:
So Jon was right all along? Lol
..and I am sure talking about it on a TV show will. Stupid bytch.
Look at the lead-in photo - she's clearly physically abusing him. She's a MONSTER!!!
Fûck whoever wrote this dumb article, LEAVE THE KIDS ALONE FFS!
and the witch will only cast him aside as the dumb one...why mention that on tv....WHY
Good going there K8 - when he's old enough to read this article (I'm sure he is already), you've just knocked his self-esteem down a few notches.
It's none of anyone's business what social or learning issues this little boy has. New lows of journalism.
AuntieAnn (#66), as someone said yesterday, all that scene did
was confirm that TFW doesn't really do the laundry. Mustn't
she be washing sweaty lacrosse uniforms every week? If so,
some dirty socks wouldn't be pushing her over the edge.
Now that one child has been singled out as having some
emotional problems, perhaps now is the time for that
fictional annual "family vote" about filming to be vetoed
by a caring, attentive mother's decision to pull the plug.
Her reckoning day is coming!!!
Ingrid (#67), that makes perfect sense to me.
Happy Birthday to Olivia DeHavilland!!

Just popped in to say Happy Canada Day to my Canadian sisters (and brothers) here today! We live in an awesome country!
Reports are that Josh Duggar's non-family molestation victim may press charges.

I was actually thinking of another Dx that begins with A and the often- accompanying O and yet another O.
From Kate's comments re: Colin
“At times his inability to problem solve in a social setting leaves him frustrated and overwhelmed with the situation,” she continued.
Will Gladys
be helpful enough to point TFW to the Radar article, and act
indignant that the tabloids picked up this story? Which was
SPOON FED to America on national TV last night? This is
exactly what TFW wanted.

Sheeple hypocrisy at it's best.

You are speculating, you're just not using "the word." Everyone knows exactly what you are talking about, so why not be honest and just say it? If Collin is on the autism spectrum, there is no shame in it. He will not be forced to wear a scarlet A.
*****************
If Collin is on the autism spectrum, he is on the high-functioning end.
Jane said... 56
******
I would think that Collin will be placed in a local public school, which has the state-mandated resources for whatever his diagnosis might be.
So Gladys said it
was "deplorable" when Jon admitted some of his kids were
struggling. Poor Gladys -- betrayed by her own words. And
she refers to the children as "ur kids" to TFW. No, you
pathetic brown noser, those kids belong to TFW AND Jon.
Happy Canada Day to those of your in Canada!

------
Sounds perfectly plausible! And she can even say she'd mentioned previously that if any child didn't want to film, that would be fine - thus setting the stage for any other "defectees".
Here we go:
@obsessedowls97: @Kateplusmy8 what special school is Colin going to? Does he have aspergers?

Will a broken marriage be just the beginning…
One last thing - Did anyone else catch the comment about H and that she seems to struggle the most with the divorce?
Sorry if I repeated anyone else’s thoughts and thanks for letting me get this off my chest.

------------------------
She didn't even break into the top hundred on TV by the Numbers this week.

Thank you for the info!
I hate, hate, hate that Kate makes fricking everything about the kids public, but in this instance, I think she had to, knowing the news would "break" at some point.
That said, I actually feel hope that finally, he's being separated from the "pack" to address his specific needs for growth.
It's too bad it took what it took to get a child individual treatment, but it is what it is.
He's a cool kid and I'm rooting for him.
Thanks KIAT, I knew I could count on you to back up my claim.
It truly is mind boggling how the very public and embarrassingly obvious hypocrisy is so overlooked by Kate's fan base.

********
I think Colin needs individual attention for the way he's developing, so I don't think it's Kate in that manner.
*****
Oh, so true. All of these kids could benefit from going their own separate ways, like to camp, or hobbies or sports.
The biggest obstacle is filming, imo.
No other number rhymes with Kate, dontcha know?
but my problem with Dr Phil, is that he wanted to save the brand, not the marriage.
*******
I thought that too for the longest time, but now, I'm not so sure.

I hope the staff pool girls are prepared for the onslaught of little stomping hooves.
layla - On iTunes this is listed as season 4 and this was episode 4 - Mother's Day, decade old TFW, the big 40 and the birthday.

Happy Canada Day!
I know I am no legal beagle but why has their never been a guardian ad Leitrim assigned for these children???
The birthday episode is showing right now.
It will be interesting to see if TLC swiffers the Colin remarks.
I didn't watch last night, I don't think I am able to watch it. There's just something about that voice (and I don't care if Kate thinks its her best feature, I can't get past all the lying)
Anonymous (Random Observations) # 111 mentioned that H seems to struggle most with the divorce - did TFW actually say that?
If so, and now that Radar has commented on Collin, you can be sure that the talk shows will discussing the 11th birthday show.
It will be interesting to hear what Wendy Williams and the ladies of the View and Talk will have to say.

------
It was Joel that was on the receiving end of Kate's nasty little book stacking lesson, not Colin. While Kate obviously singles out Colin, the other boys get more than their fair share of horrible parenting moments.

Kates arm extended to the back of the couch and not once did she
drop her arm and hug her child!!
Good grief woman hug your kids !
Kates couch hairdo.
The extentions were hiding her turkey neck.

I hope you are right and that, going forward, more people are paying attention to what happens to Collin. His little spirit is being crushed by his mother. She needs to feel some heat for the way she treats him and, if necessary, be forced to treat him better. And he needs attention and positive reinforcement from others outside his family. Nobody wants to see him fall through the cracks.
NJGal51 (127)
My listing said season 3, episode 8, but that may be incorrect.
I didn't watch the new epi or the old one,
The reason why KK didn't have the sleepover at her house is because.
1. She didn't want those icky kids touching her things in her house remember...All mine
2. Kate is lazy as hell and did want to supervise all the kids in her house.
3.Kate brought Steve along..duh..And she wanted to be in his room at night.
I bet it's all three.
Kates arm extended to the back of the couch and not once did she
drop her arm and hug her child!!
Good grief woman hug your kids !

I think the girls had four guests, Marley was there with the twins, and I agree the extra girls could be the ones in the other episode- so does that mean Laurie is Forrest's
wife? Didn't we conclude the little girl was his daughter?

No, you mentioned it. Good meds, huh?

I'm surprised noone has spoken of this. As they were getting seated, H wearing lace shoes roughly pushed passed L(?) to get to a seat first. L's foot got trod upon and she was wearing open sandals. L turns and pushed H. K makes L apologise several times to H. H was clearly wrong first, but she does not own up to it. K might not have seen H push first.
Long time Lurker
Wasn't it Alexis who had to apologize? Then she stood up with no seat and sulked. I feel sorry for her, too.
Longtime Lurker (#145), I also found it disturbing that H was
saddled with the role of helper at such an early age. Heck,
she was only about 2 when she had that description during
the opening credits, spoken by TFW: "H is the leader, and
Mommy's helper." That's when America also learned that
C was "stubborn," and J was "sneaky." But TFW could only
see dollar signs -- then, and now.

Thanks, PA Dutch mom, for keeping it private about Collin. Proves it was going to come out eventually and Kate/TLC wanted to control the narrative. The question is: will she flat out lie?
&&&&&&&&

Milo is in full damage control mode but there's really nothing that she can say to make what TFW said/did more palatable. Ass hat.

Auntie, you're the best!
She said yes, and I said,
SHE'S LYING THROUGH HER TEETH!
My mom said, I KNOW! BYE! Bwahahahaha
If Gladys watched TFW snub poor C's sweet gift, and then reveal
his personal struggles to complete strangers on national TV, and
can still tweet with a straight face that TFW is the "BEST
possible person to be his his corner," then she is making it clear
that she is hopelessly in love with TFW. This is not a "girl crush."
This is a romantic obsession, and it's been raging for years. And
I still think she is capable of turning on TFW someday.

Sorry, Sleepless. I didn't mean to call you 'leepless'. It was an accident. Honest it was. Damn rumspringa.

What was Milo whining about last night? Kate wasn't giving her enough loving?
Now Milo's playing the martyr/victim because people were giving her flak about praising Kate for outing Collin's issues.
Fired Up 4 Kate @MiloandJack · 1h1 hour ago
Sure not getting any love here tonight. Haters abound. My last thought courtesy Dr. Steve.. pic.twitter.com/ZyExDamge4 @TLC @Kateplusmy8
BTW, when the story came out about Hannah and her not wanting to return to Kate's, Milo had the following to say:
Fired Up 4 Kate @MiloandJack
@Kateplusmy8 I know you must be N tears...heartbroken over the breach of privacy for your lil girl. #ShamefulHorribleTabloidExploitation
So if a tabloid prints something about one of the kids problems, it's a breach of privacy, and it is shameful and exploitation, but when Kate does the same thing, it's "refreshing".
Fired Up 4 Kate @MiloandJack
@Kateplusmy8 You kept the details of this ordeal quiet..you protected ur lil girls privacy & her identity.
________
HAHAHA the haters need help wow Milo just wow.
Actually when my youngest was going into fifth grade, we took a bunch of her friends camping overnight to a state park. Hiking, campfires, smores, glow sticks. They had so much fun and no one whined once where they were sleeping. We took two cars and no one whined once which car or who was going with who. ******
That sounds like so much fun!
TLC Stinks (#186), breakfast the next day must've been like a
rodeo. And I bet TFW wasn't within 100 feet of it. I suspect
any hands-on time with the kids -- hers and their guests -- was
for the cameras only.
Can you imagine TFW chitchatting with almost 20 kids over bacon
and eggs, and then supervising them as they leave the hotel,
and greeting each parent who picked them up with a smile and
saying how nice it was having little So-And-So at the party?
She may even have gotten a suite on a different floor, so the
noise wouldn't disturb her sleep. Just think -- she's spent
dozens, if not hundreds, of nights away from her kids. She's
not a worrier when it comes to their wellbeing. As for the
party guests, shrug, well, that's what the paid "friends since
forever" were there for.
BTW, did anyone spot Steve?
ok, the part where she's googling on her phone and feigns shock over their picture popping up? !! oh how surprising! are you as gobsmacked when you google just your name?
Oh such a sweet moment♪♪
Aaden just smiles, nods and agrees.
There is so much wrong with this - I don't even know where to start.

Talk about parentification!

Parentification

Boy, I sure forgot how cocky she was. She really doesn't have that confidence and arrogance anymore, been knocked down a few pegs.
And the way the lies just flowed from her pie hole, unreal.
I also cringed when one of the boys had a death grip on Zorro. wth?
They are so rough with him, never gentle. None of them are gentle.

Go to the 40:00 mark, beautiful
48:00 mark, don't know why I didn't think of this before. The babies are crying...relief on Alexis's face "hi mommy"
Well no shit!
Did she take some sort of
pride in saying that her rules never change, when it was clear
in that scene that the girls got help finishing their food and the
boys did not? Mommy also had a "no hitting" rule, but that
didn't apply to her. And Mommy had a rule to never enter her
bedroom, but now it seems to be Disney Channel Slumber
Party Central, as long as you're not an icky boy.
I hope these kids' future psychiatrists have DVD players in
their offices, so the adult G children can show what it was like
growing up as lab rats. I'm not being flip -- I'm dead serious.

This is not a "girl crush."
This is a romantic obsession, and it's been raging for years. And
I still think she is capable of turning on TFW someday.
-------------
Yes, it's more than a girl crush on a celebrity.
Milo is just too darn dumb and in love to see any of this
=======================
The 'little' girls will soon be into all that. They were arguing on the couch who was prettiest.

Yes! they revisited cupcakegate, of course they didn't show the whole clip.
She starts off with (not these exact words)
-Do you remember the time when you didn't finish your dinner and you were upset that you didn't get dessert? (says this smiling) And you said "awww! I don't get dessert?!"-
They go to the clip of him saying this and only this short clip.
Aaden smiles and "yes"
And then she smiles to the camera and blabbers on about how she doesn't budge with the rules, no matter what.
REWRITING HISTORY! yeah, what a mind f$#$%
It's going to be the way she says it was, there will be no arguing with her, even with footage to prove her wrong. You will never win with a narc, never.
I wish he had said, "I also remember the girls getting to eat their cupcakes. What's up with that, you bitch?"

Can you imagine TFW chitchatting with almost 20 kids over bacon
and eggs, and then supervising them as they leave the hotel,
and greeting each parent who picked them up with a smile and
saying how nice it was having little So-And-So at the party?
-------
Don't forget the bonding over the inevitable dread that ALL moms have, following a sleepover!

Yes, that clip was cringe worthy as well. One more nasty personality trait to add t the list, vanity.
To be that bold speaking to the adult in the room. Would be more beneficial if it had been a therapist without a camera in front of them. Wonder what they'd make of that discussion.
Virginia Pen Mom (#197), Gladys thinks as long as she puts an
"LOL" after her passive/aggressive comments, no one will see
through her. But we can. And she does NOT want TFW to have
a boyfriend. When the Jeff Millionaire buzz began, she seemed
upset, and tweeted again and again that we don't know if it's true
or not. And all the "grow-a-boyfriend" jokes that fell flat, but she
kept 'em coming. She thinks as long as TFW is alone, she can
be there for her as a support system, and be wanted and
needed. (sings "Friends" theme) "I'll be there for you, when
the rain starts to pour!" Except that song ends with, "'Cause
you're there for me, too!" And that is not the case with TFW.
It is not a reciprocal friendship. It is a one-sided obsession.
