Some were provided by the owners, and some were just left by previous renters who didn't want to haul it back to the mainland. We abandoned a half-full huge bottle of sunblock and some other items. Renting in Hawaii is almost like having a PA!

I was just thinking the very same thing. Josh made "mistakes" and the sexual deviance followed him into adulthood to the point where he solicited paid prostitutes. Can the sheeple be rest assured that Kate's "mistakes" aren't ongoing? We have photos of her spanking a child; reports from those inside the home hearing her wail on a child in the bathroom; pictures of the wooden happy spoon in her car; investigation by child services. Are the sheeple sure that these "mistakes" aren't still happening today, perhaps not physically, but emotional abuse takes its toll as well?

They also don't understand that they have no standing to "forgive" Kate for this. It is her children who were wronged here, not them, and the children are the ones to decide if and when they can give her forgiveness for this. They might not want to give her a pass on this, and that's their right. It's a wonderful heritage to have and be proud of, but I think you're on the money. It's very local to her, lots of people have that, and it's sort of homespun, so it's not very glamorous.

It's a wonderful heritage to have and be proud of, but I think you're on the money. It's very local to her, lots of people have that, and it's sort of homespun, so it's not very glamorous.
I bet to her it's much more exciting to say you're South African, or Greek.
In PA, it feels like everyone has that heritage. Sometimes when you have what everyone else has you don't feel like bragging about it. That's how a 16 year old thinks anyway.
I love my mixed heritage.

I guess I made french fries a time or two, and Tandoori Chicken once. Boy, will my family be surprised when I tell them I'm French/Indian.

A lot of us bought in to the "loving mother illusion" many years ago, but when the Gosselins became too uncomfortable to watch the obvious came out loud and clear. I cannot believe anyone would continue to support this shrew and be entertained by watching children vomit on a fishing boat. How horrible to be dragged out to sea by a mother who knows her children get sea sick. The very idea that anyone would film it is unbelievable. Mean, mean woman. Too bad Jon couldn't stop the filming forever. Still wonder why TLC hasn't cut her loose?
I wish Jon would post his KBBQ recipe. It was hilarious that Jon posted the Coke bottle with Kate's name on it. I think he just opened the door of the cooler at the store and reached in and there it was. It was a fluke. I bet it surprised him.
If he saw it and reached for it, who cares! It was great and shows what a nice guy he is. She would never post something like that.

I saw a mother overly concerned about cleanliness (scrubbing the kitchen floors 3 times a day for example) and being blase about all the help she received, and almost totally removed from the children she had wanted so badly. There seemed to be an emotional curtain between them.
To get Jon's recipe just google Jon Gosselin recipe for bulgogi and there it is in all its glory. Complete with accurate measurements and directions. No problem.

I didn't much like her from the beginning either but what I did do in the beginning is give her a lot of free passes like the sheeple do. She's been written so many free passes we must have destroyed a forest in the process. I don't write those anymore, nope.
