On tonight was the gardening, landscaping. The amount of work and home improvements this woman gets is astounding. All add to the value of the home should she decide to resell. I wonder if she pays taxes on this work as income. Happy to note she has some real brats there. Anybody notice her feelings are never really hurt no matter how nasty those kids are to her? I guess that's the nice thing about being a narcissist==no heart to break.

Does she understanding anything about breeding? Is she planning on buying a female GSD so that she can breed him? If that's going to be a storyline I guess TLC is going to have to find a backyard breeder for her because I don't think any reputable breeder would use him as a stud since she doesn't show him and he's got no confirmations. SMDH over this one.

Oh for god sake PLEASE neuter your dog, Kate.

So god damn irresponsible especially when he is allowed to roam around and by her own admission has escaped! Maybe he already is a dad due to her negligence, what does she know?

And she has the male dog. Isn't most of the fun and learning with the owners of the FEMALE? Unless you arrange it with the owners of the female to take part and have a stake in the puppies, you're out of luck. What a doofus.

I always got the impression George was laughing both at Kate and himself for kind of liking the show. I think him being a "fan" of the show is half truth half a joke to him. He is obviously not the show's target market, which is part of the joke. That's the punchline.

Sure a one-note joke, but that's really how he is.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said... 12

But Dateline mentioned all the evidence and the brother's confession and never led me to believe there was really any credible evidence leading to the police framing him.I can't wait to watch this on Netflix

&&&&

Def watch it! I'll do a post on it maybe when Kate's season is over and folks who wish to have had more time to watch it all. I absolutely loved it and I plan to watch it through again probably when I do the post. It was fine filmmaking.

As far the confession it was his nephew's and it's unbelievable how improper it was. It should have been thrown out. The documentary goes through all the problems with it. The police basically fed the confession to him. I feel awful for Steven but even worse for Brendan, a special needs high school student repeatedly questioned without his mother until he finally said well I guess I was involved.

I do not believe he was. I believe he went home, played playstation, went to a bonfire, talked to his mom and went to bed. His own attorney and his investigator were just awful and also coerced him into an improper confession. His own attorney implied to the press Brendan did it! WTF!

It's no secret I think both of those men should be let out of jail. The level of corruption in that case was shameful.

I wouldn't see this as a problem. No doubt he is AKC, and all she needs to do is find a bitch (no, not Kate) use him for stud and take the pick of the litter. There are those out there who breed pet quality in addition to show quality.

I wonder what this woman is seriously going to do as the kids get older and contradict her more and more, sell her out more and more.

Is she going to be on twitter every episode with her rebuttal to their statements? What a flipping tool she is. Her own children. Her own children!

NJGal51 said... 15

I still see it as backyard breeding Sheepless. If she bought pet quality herself or if the female was sold as pet quality and when the dogs were purchased they told the breeder that they were buying them for "pets only", the dogs may only have a limited AKC registration. If either has a limited AKC it means that any puppies they may have can't be registered. When I buy a dog I look for a breeder that is concerned with breeding for health and not just breeding to make money.

@Kateplusmy8 @Mydmaxx @TLC All offered in Upper School - only 1 required. Doubt twins take all 4 - tups take only Spanish. #Honesty

That is incorrect.

Spanish begins in pre-school and continues through Lower School. In 5th grade (LS) there is one trimester of French, kind of an introduction so kids can decide if they want to take French or Spanish in MS. Fifth graders also study Mandarin, so yes, in fifth grade they study Spanish, French and Mandarin, not only Spanish.

In Upper School, they have the option of Spanish, French, Latin or Mandarin, but not all four at the same time!

What is it with Kate and her manicured nails? I mean, really? First of all, she waves them around, lah de dah, like we're all supposed to be so impressed she has freaking nails.

Secondly, aren't french tipped nails "out"? Even if french nails are "in", isn't there a point in time where she would just want a change?

I'm just wondering...do French women wear french tip nails? For that matter, do French people like french fries and eat a lot of French dressing on their salads. Why do we name anything after a country? German Potato Salad? Do Germans really eat their potato salad cold?

What else? Oriental Dressing? Well, that's not really a country so I guess it doesn't count! ha.

Anyway, I just had to rant about Kate's nails.

I am looking forward to all the different viewpoints and observations from the posters here.

Admin., thanks for addressing my post about Steven. It is astounding that I never thought for a minute that Steven or his brother were even remotely guilty. And I am the type that after watching a show such as this if I have any questions or suspicions I will google it afterwards for more info. I had none! Dateline usually has great, fair storytelling but they really missed it covering this. They should have made it a two-part storyline and covered much more than they did. In fairness, I think the Dateline episode was filmed just a year or so after it went to trial but I don't think that should have changed their storytelling. Or am I wrong?

Also Admin., just a heads up in case somebody wants in the future to look up any comments about Kate Plus Eight episode tonight. The episode name is incorrect in your heading. That was last week's title.

Regardless if Kate or TLC is paying for this landscaping job I bet the company is giving TLC/Kate a huge break in cost because of the free advertisement. Think of it. It is practically a long, free commercial for their business. I watched a few minutes (at 10pm) and they showed their logo on their trucks many times. And Kate was bitchy to her kids when she had them clear out the stones. Her tone was terrible a few times just during the gardening part I saw. And her kids did anything wrong at all.

And she must think her viewers are idiots because she mentioned that she wanted her kids to clear & move a vast amount of small rocks because it would save her money. Really? Ahhh No! The reason was to film her show and have her kids out with the workers. I will watch the whole thing tomorrow on On Demand.

A moment of silence, please! Kate Plus 8's Tuesday, December 29, episode began with a funeral. Well, actually, it began with four funerals as Kate Gosselin and her family said goodbye to all the fish that died over the winter and had been awaiting their burial in the freezer.

Huh? I guess the bird and dog will have the same fate so it can be filmed.

They load up the Gator. Kate decides that Joel gets to drive down and Leah can drive back. Joel gets behind the wheel and takes them down the driveway. She says she doesn’t usually let the kids drive it because it’s not a toy.
She says they’ve only gotten to drive it a few times. Kate is on trip number three and realizes they hadn’t made a dent in all the stones. She says the landscaping crew has to finish this up for them. The boys are interested in using the chain saw.
She has one of Eddie’s guys teach her how to use the chain saw. Kate is afraid of it despite all the safety equipment. The kids yell at her that she can’t even skate and shouldn’t mess with it. She says she tries to do things to show the kids they shouldn’t be afraid of life.

There are boxes for each of them. She gives them the presents and has them open at the same time. She ordered them garden stones to sit on in the garden. Each has their name and a symbol. The kids really like it. Mady and Cara complain about theirs.
Kate made theirs kind of a joke but they are upset at it. Mady wants to send hers back and change it. She also made one for Shoka the dog and Zorro the bird. Cara and Mady refuse to put their stones in there.
They are upset that she put a joke on their stones that they made with Marley three months ago and don’t make anymore. Kate also has a stone for herself. She says she can’t win with the teenagers. She reminds them that it’s in her house forever.

And, yes, the "unexpected burial" was for their fish. But not just one fish.

Kate admits that when a fish dies, she freezes it until the time comes when they can have an appropriate burial. They buried 4-6 fish in the episode.

How skeevy is it that she actually freezes their dead pets to await a proper burial?

"To get the kids more into the project, Kate decided to operate a chainsaw, wanting to look "cool" for the boys, especially. "My goal is to expose my kids to as much as I can," she explained. "It's facing your fears, and much of what we fear is not as scary as we make it out to be."

Unfortunately, the trees Kate intended to uproot came from the kids' prized "Secret Hideout," so her children were much less impressed with her skills than she’d hoped, and she went ahead removing the trees on her own."

88888888888888888888888888888

So, of all the fuckety-hundred trees on that property, she had to cut down the ones that upset the kids. She must mastermind day and night how to gaslight her kids.

Generally I'm the last one to defend Kate about anything but...we freeze our dead (small) pets if the ground is too hard/cold to bury them in the yard.

There's little option unless you're willing to just throw them in the trash. Try explaining that to a six year old who just lost their pet budgie.

I suppose you could just flush a gold fish but things like birds, hamsters, bunnies, turtles etc...not so much.

It's rather common practice where we live as it's winter here nearly half the year.

Okay, I get that you can't bury pets when the ground is frozen solid. But they buried more than one fish. How many of them died over this past winter? These episodes were filmed during the summer. They could have buried them in the spring when the ground thawed.

It's seems more like they were holding on to them to use as plot point for the show. That's what I find skeevy.

As far as I can tell, Aggravated Indecent Assault is a more serious charge than just rape. Especially because it involves impairing the victim through the use of drugs, etc. not just the use of physical force. I think it also shows more premeditation than rape.

Here is an article explaining it:

What is "nerve wracking" and "tear jerking" about a magic show? Is it because their mother is present?

I didn't watch all of last night's episode. I have it on DVR and just flipped through part of the episode. Kate was spraying wasps and while she was doing her "wasps are scary" dance, her phone falls out of her shorts pocket and her phone gets cracked.

The only truthful statement of the whole episode came out of Kate's mouth when she discussed that happening. She said "I'm an idiot".

Yep, Kate, you are.

Hi redbird, I will try to remember SDI when I revise acronym document.

Re good Netflix shows: lilyhammer is a very fun, enjoyable show! They only made three seasons, it was a US- Norwegian co production and filmed mostly in Norway. Dh heard about it thru an interview with Steven Van Zandt, who stars in it.
Very funny show, also very violent at times, and the Norwegian relaxed attitudes about sex are part of it also. Premise: Steven Van Zandt (yes the same guy who plays guitar in the E Street Band) (and was on the Sopranos) plays Frank Taglioni, a criminal who ends up testifying against his bosses and enters witness protection. He wants to go to Lillehammer Norway, he defenders how beautiful and clean it looked from the Olympics. That is explained in the first ten minutes of episode one, and the show deals with how this former mobster interacts with his new country and it's bureaucracy and rules and his new friends. There are three seasons of eight episodes each on Netflix. Check it out!

"Mommy, why are we keeping our pet fish that died in the freezer? Shouldn't we bury them right after they die?"

"No, we have to save them for when TLC films us again and we can make a story out of it. Won't that be FUN!"

So there are four more episodes left. Next week, the deck party, magic show and spa visit. We know there's a back to school shopping episode, and of course, the "dating" episode. So what's the fourth episode going to be about? Another recap episode of the past year?

What I saw was a bunch of strangers, paid to entertain and play with 6 kids. From the lemonade stand to the wheel barrow rides, the kids seemed very immature.

Watching them work, which I have no problem in kids helping with the gardening, Hannah never lifted a rake and yet she was shown driving the gator. Hannah's attitude is quickly becoming obnoxious, as is Leah's.

I guess Collin isn't allowed to speak much for fear he will cause discord. Watching him on the couch barely a word coming out is heartbreaking.

Mady and Cara...no words. These kids are brats.

Agree. We had a gerbil die last winter and were able to bury him. The ground wasn't that frozen

&&&&

Double agree. I grew up a mere four hours from them, more northern and even colder winters, and the ground was certainly not frozen solid the whole winter. There are times of freezing and thawing throughout any typical winter. It's the northeast, not the Artic tundra. Did the pets even die in the winter?

Does she understanding anything about breeding? Is she planning on buying a female GSD so that she can breed him? If that's going to be a storyline I guess TLC is going to have to find a backyard breeder for her because I don't think any reputable breeder would use him as a stud since she doesn't show him and he's got no confirmations. This makes my head explode. I can't believe she never neutered Shoka.
F*cking backyard breeder.
So, let me get this straight. She does a yard sale to benefit an animal shelter that tries to rescue and re-home dogs who are just ones of millions without a home, and she's going to add to the population?
She really doesn't get sooooooooo many things, it's mind boggling.

Or to add to the overpopulation of dogs just because they want ONE puppy from their own dog, only for pet purposes.
It's not responsible at all.
This only furthers my already poor opinion of the asshat who sold Shoka and Nala to Kate in the first place.

Well, now we know, or can further know, why Shoka is still sticking around.

When the kids were talking about their lamb's ear plants, and some were saying theirs were the biggest ones, poor Collin said that Mady had stepped on his. That poor boy has no luck at all. I wonder if the fish are left unfed and uncleaned while they are on their many trips, and if that isn't why they lose so many of them? Also, Kate was saying how she now grills all of the time, and yet, when she lit the grill, and the flame popped on, she jumped as though she were afraid of it. Was it her helpless little girl act again, or does she rarely light the thing?

There's just such an odd disconnect here.

The fact that you might have reservations about jumping off a building is okay! Many people do, and it doesn't mean you won't succede in life. I would never do it, and it hasn't hurt me.

I just don't follow her logic with facing fears.

Children are probably going to learn more from observing how you behave day to day rather than one thing you decided to do on a paid vacation. Much more common fears in life are the simpler things. Applying for a new job, going back to school, starting a relationship when you've been single for a long time and have gotten kind of used to it, trying to reconnect and rebuild a past broken relationship. Picking up the phone and saying I'm sorry to someone you wronged. THOSE are life fears or difficult things children need to learn.

Has she shown them any of those?

I doubt it. I don't think sorry is in her vocabulary.

At Skyjump it was a matter of not being outdone by Mady and Cara. She could have conceded to her fear of heights and refused and then patted the twins on the back for being brave enough to do it. But she has this need to outperform her kids on every level.

In the end all she did was make an ass of herself.

Admin (#78), there's an odd disconnect with so
many things TFW says because of her overall odd disconnect from her role as mother. She makes
these grand proclamations -- we "always" do this,
we "never"do that -- that ring hollow because we've seen with our own eyes that she is generally not into her kids. But when that camera is facing her, she's trying her darnedest to sound like a loving, caring, parent.

We witnessed TFW's disinterest in getting those puppies. We heard her say she wasn't even listening when the dog breeder was talking to her. We heard her tell her children "you're not welcome" when they thanked her for the dog. We saw Jon glumly loading those dogs in the truck to be returned. But now -- poof! -- TFW claims to be "ridiculously in love" with this animal? I'm not buying it.

"These episodes were filmed during the summer. They could have buried them in the spring when the ground thawed."

&&&&&&&&&&&&&

Even if the ground were frozen, they could have thawed it. How deep a hole do you have to dig for a few fish? It's not like they are burying a small mammal in a box. You just take a bucket of boiling water and pour it on the ground and dig a shallow hole, or put them in the mulch bed under some shrubbery. Geez.

redbird said... 88

Wow. Cara's demeanor has changed. She looks so full of resentment, anger. Mady has it, but she is more vocal.

TFW is basically calling Colin a liar. Do we honestly believe that she is with those kids every single time one of them get in the Gator and drive it? No. Colin's body language says, I drive the Gator to do my chicken chores, I do it every day and I do it alone.

He looked defeated. I wonder if when he said that was she nearby and hear it? Also, why would she as a producer let that be shown?

PA Dutch Mom said... 89

Kate also slips into character, imo. Watching her- it's not her. Just isn't. It's this persona that mugs for the camera and drastically exaggerates for maximal effect.

Midnight, whoever wrote that recap for Arafat has Kate's number:

As we found out, Kate, who told her children last season that animals don’t have souls, freezes goldfish in her refrigerator until enough of them have died to have an efficient funeral.

Later, a hunky chainsaw wielder comes over to help Kate achieve her dream of wielding a chainsaw.

In reality, however, Kate mostly stood around, saying things like, “this is so heavy!” and “I’m scared but I’m doing this for the boys because they think it’s cool.”

We don’t know for sure but it’s probably safe to say that Hunky Chainsaw Wielder did not ask for her number despite the damsel-in-distress act.

Andrea the babysitter, or nanny, or “worker” (as Kate likes to refer to people she hires), is finally — albeit vaguely — addressed in this episode: “Andrea joined us for the summer to help around the house and just be another me.”

It was a short recap, but nailed it. Everyone sees through Kate, except a few.

Several tweeters asked Kate where she purchased the garden stones, and she once glibly responded "online". Why not have made a deal to tweet out the company name and get a discount, or did the company not want to be associated with her? Ordering the stones had to take some time, which throws into question how long this project took. Also, the cost of a stone with 2-3 lines of text was $80 at a site I found that sold similar items. $80. Per stone. 11 stones. Plus the name stakes. Good thing she tried to save $ on the slave labor of the kids.
Interesting to notice that when Kate was involved in the project - picking plants, outside work, the kids were miserable and had to create their own fun (lamb plants), but the landscaper's were engaging, educational and the kids soaked it up like sponges. Also interesting that Kate can't set limits with her horrendously behaved kids "one ride becomes 6, and what if they each want two, that's 12". um, how about just setting a limit "one ride per child". And how AWESOME that Kelly was the one to say "let's thank him by giving him a ride". Kate talks fake talk, but Kelly showed them how to express gratitude and reciprocate a treat.
And, finally, I give Mady a pass here. She is a teenager, and she and Cara clearly want no part of these activities. Kate should never have surprised them with a stone. They should have been allowed to select their own, if they wanted one. Instead, they are surprised, on camera, with a sassy expression that has been a private joke between three teen-agers. Now the world, their friends, and peers have seen it. Mady was right to express frustration and annoyance with her mother for not respecting that personal things should be kept personal

Even the reruns of Jill and Jessa are getting good ratings. K+8, then, had a strong lead-in from J&J. Starting next week, The Little Couple will be K+8's lead-in. I don't know why TLC is wasting such strong lead-in shows on a loser show like K+8.

From what I read about McGibney/Bullyville, he is suing/being sued by many people, has lost all his advertisers, keeps promising his remaining followers that he will appeal his lost legal battles (but then doesn't), and now is working a 9-5 job that he may end up losing. He can appeal this latest loss, but what is he going to say? It was determined to be a SLAPP suit. The sanctions for a SLAPP suit are to deter the person who filed it (McGibney) from ever filing one again. All he can say is, "I'll never do it again", but who is going to believe him? And when has he ever admitted he was wrong? I don't think he is going to start now.

But there are effective lawyers and ineffective. Every effective opinionated person at one point found that balance between being a jerk and leaning in. For instance, channeling it into a career like the law.
********************************
Right, because there are no jerks practicing law.

&&&&

Read what I said again. I in no way implied there are no jerks in the law. There are jerks in every profession for that matter, even yours I'm sure. In fact, I specifically said there are effective and ineffective lawyers and the effective ones have found ways to channel their energy.

A career like the law, however, may be one good way for behavior or attitudes that might sound like a "jerk" to the average person, to channel those productively. To use that aspect of your personality for good. To find a way to let those feelings out in an appropriate way and then be able to control them in other contexts. I have seen many people who struggle socially find a real calling in this career and do a lot of good. I have seen others in which this profession does them no good and makes them nastier. In any case, I have no idea if Mady has the slightest interest in being a lawyer nor should a 14 year old decide such a thing this young, I'm merely saying there are a lot of activities and careers that could highlight aspects of her personality for good if she is given the proper guidance.

It's like any personality trait that in some contexts might be seen as a negative. For example what about someone who has a personality trait such that they are a big kid, they're silly, they have a ton of energy, and at times they annoy those around them with their exuberance. Yet they might thrive being a kindergarten teacher or camp counselor or youth group leader. It's all about finding that right spot for who you are but sometimes you need that help from parents and other adults to figure that out.

Success with any personality trait that can be a negative, is dependent on being able to turn it around productively.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said... 148

No way, that was not even an option. We did regional events with other schools around the state, and that's it.

So you're now saying you CAN be in Model UN throughout high school years, you just don't get to go to The Hague until senior year. Fair enough. Model UN is about far more than one trip to The Hague. Mady should give it a try.

You seem to equate being ineffective with being a jerk. I don't. You can be an ineffective lawyer (or any professional) and be a lovely person. You can be an effective professional while also being a jerk. I think being a jerk typically detracts from being effective, but there are effective jerks out there.

&&&&

Not at all. You can be ineffective and be a nice person in whatever profession. Maybe you just suck at it.

I'm talking about effectively channeling personality traits such that you bring out the best in those traits. Use those traits to your advantage.

That said, some lawyers are such jerks that they become ineffective. It can't become so out of control that you lose the judge or jury, your client, or your colleagues. I'm sure that's the same of any profession. Sure some might get by being a asshat and a jerk, like Steve Jobs, but I think you make it harder on yourself when you go that route as opposed to using those traits for good.

Admin., tell me if I have this right? If the police pick up you for questioning or even asks you to come to their station for questioning, don't you have a right as a citizen to say at ANYTIME during the interview that, "I want an attorney" and the police MUST stop the interview. In fact, you can legally just get up at any time during the questioning and just walk out.

My point is there are so many false confessions (and I believe in them) because people being questioned are being hounded and legally lied to for many grueling hours and then the person just cracks and confesses to just get out of there. (The police are legally allowed to lie to you during questioning. And I am fine with that.)

The bottom line is this: What I just posted needs to be taught and taught again in high schools, colleges and by their parents. What truly baffles me about false confessions is why don't they simply say that they want an attorney or simply say I have sat here for hours answering your questions and now I am leaving. My question is why are these people just sitting there and being so confused and frightened into confessing to a crime they did not do? It literally ruins their lives and their family lives. Don't they know they could stop the interview or just get up and leave?

In the U.S. they do, but the police are highly skilled interviewers who will hoodwink folks time and time again into talking. They will use tactics like reassuring you we can just work this out who needs lawyers, just help us out, you're not under arrest what do you need a lawyer for. Questioning for hours is part of the plan to wear you down mentally. Most such tactics have been upheld in a court of law because of the strong interest in giving police a lot of room to build their case.

There is also a psychological factor involved in that people think I can talk to the police just fine I can handle this, I don't need help. Almost an ego thing. If I had to guess I would say the bulk of a state's case comes within the first hour the police make contact with you, before most people get it together and get legal help.

A professor did a lecture on how the police hoodwink people. I'll try to find it. It was fantastic. It's on youtube,

Brandan was a kid with special needs. It's shocking to me the judge and jury thought his little chat with the police had any value.

Another terribly corrupt confession was Amanda Knox's. Absolutely zero value.

I tell the kids I represent who have possible criminal matters pending, you don't say a word NOT A WORD but LAWYER.

LAWYER, LAWYER, LAWYER.

Very interesting read. Should we tweet it on over to Milo, or perhaps Uggs?

Sheepless In Seattle said... 159

Turtle (159)...

Excellent article. Thanks for passing this along. This is particularly true of Milo:

“I held up her Twitter and it wasn’t until that moment that she realized that she had told them,” Lopez said. “To them they are just tweeting. You don’t know who you are communicating with. You don’t know their mental stability. You have very obsessed people out there who want to be with you, and now you just communicated with them. You just made their obsession bigger.”

One of Kate's biggest mistakes was that shout-out to Milo on national television. Huge mistake. Milo is delusional in that she would never recognize herself as a stalker. She "supports" Kate because for some reason she is under the mistaken impression that Kate needs her help and advice. This clearly is CWS.

"Experts say the obsession is driven in large part by a diagnosable condition: erotomania. They typically suffer from schizophrenia, clinical bipolar disorder, and manic depression and believe their “relationship” with a celebrity is reciprocated via a “like,” follow back, or, worse, a direct mention on social media."

...and Kate is dumb enough to give a follow back during these live tweet fests.

The thing about Ms Uggs is that she's not obsessed with just one celebrity. The objects of her lusting all share the same type of job in the entertainment industry, as well as physical characteristics, and she believes that she is worthy of a meet and greet, leading to a backstage hug, shout-outs, and she tells them where she will be in hopes of a physical encounter, and even having coffee together. These celebrities don't know her from Adam and yet she considers them her buddies. It is the possible mental instability that raises red flags and is very worrisome.

Sheepless In Seattle said... 160

Regarding the stalking...

This is one creepy person. Apparently Kate isn't the only one on Milo's Twitter alert:

Fired Up 4 Kate @MiloandJack
@deannatweeting Hey there! My phone just yelled! LOL Nice to see you... Gr8 show last nite. Are you doing the make-up 4couch interviews?

I'm not sure if she/he should be pitied for craving this attention by thinking that Kate's friends are her friends, or if this person is truly dangerous. She/he scares me and I really don't think the situation is getting any better. I think that she's desperately lonely and insecure, perhaps because LOM is The Boss, and she is a non-entity in that household.

Then again, Gladys could be an elderly catfish in a mental health facility.

The problem is that the Deanna person responds to her, as does Jamie. She gets more nosy and brazen. Then again, perhaps they have been advised not to ignore her.

Of course Collin drives the gator all the time. He probably has the most chores. Kate stomps on the floor to get the boys to come upstairs? That's pretty disrespectful. She has only slaves, not sons, doesn't she.

Kate is not enamored with Shoka and she does not want grand dogs. She thinks people will pay her to breed their dog with Shoka. They got lots of money for breeding Secretariat. Think how much more Shoka is worth. Idiot. Get the poor dog neutered.

I feel bad for Mady. I wonder how bad things are for her at school. Is she made fun of? Having activities like Model UN or Key Club or acting or whatever would have helped her all along. Every child needs something in their lives that they enjoy doing, that means something to them. But Kate needed her to take care of siblings and cook and clean so no fun for you. Also, Kate didn't want to be bothered with picking her up late or going to repeated events. Kate wants her nails touched up or more tanning or time away in NYC. She's horrible.

Does anyone know if Cara is still playing lacrosse? If she had to give that up for filming, her anger isn't surprising. There's been no mention lately of tournaments.

Jeanne said... 163

So with the Cosby arraignment: I don't know whether the assault charge or rape charge is more serious. The news here in PA is telling us that the statute of limitations on rape has already run out for this case. They only had until the end of this year until the assault charge ran out too and then they couldn't charge that. They chose the charge that was available; charging with rape was impossible at this point in time. The sentence if convicted is up to 10 years.

There are people trying to change the law so that rape can be charged forever like murder. It has to be done state by state and could take a very long time.

Math Girl said... 164

The article on celebrity stalkers was very interesting.

Offhand, I am most worried about Milo. Emily, austin, and Uggs are fans of multiple celebs, and I hope that if Kate were to rebuff or disappoint them, they would just move on to another celeb. I was worried about Paige at one time, and feared that meeting Kate would reinforce her worship of Kate, but she seems to have largely outgrown her CWS.

But Milo seems to be extremely persistent and single-minded, unless she's a PR person or group, of course. I wonder how much information she gives out about herself is true. Perhaps we'll find out some day. I just hope it isn't through a tragic incident.

Mady may be opinionated per Kate, but that's no excuse for not respecting people.

It appears people are still upset on Facebook about Mady, even Cara. The tup girls may behave ok for now, as 11 year olds tend to still listen to parents and obey, but it won't last with their role models in that household. The boys are great.

The stones. SHE KNEW the stones with the private joke would set the twins off.

SHE KNEW the uprooting of the trees of the tups special place would set them off also.

I don't believe Mady and Cara knew and approved the stone joke because they were really upset.

How can this monster get away with TONS AND TONS OF CRUELTY?? DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY???

Did you see her stand there telling the kids that this was HER HOUSE. Well, honey, nothing is written in stone forever and the foundation that you started with at that house with the infamous words, Mine. All Mine, will come back one day and destroy you.

I just hope all the negative comments about Mady's behavior/attitude reflect a loss of interest in the show in the coming weeks rather than the reverse. Making Mady the focus of the show would just add to the tragedy of what has happened to to these children, especially that dear sad little boy Collin.

A man spends 18 years in prison for a violent time that he did not commit. He is finally released and goes home to his salvage-yard-trailer-family. (Sorry, that does sound judgmental. But, their lifestyle is definitely a part of the story.)

Within two years he is charged with another crime -- this time a gruesome murder. His low IQ nephew confesses and implicates his uncle.

Did he do it? Did the local police frame him in order to avoid a $36 million dollar law suit?

All the info, including the outcome of the second trial, is on the internet. Don't google if you don't want the suspense spoiled.

Mady has no clue how this will affect her future.
