Pushed back from April to October (maybe) is a very loooooong delay.
I have to say,the one time i think Kate was seriously wronged was when she uploaded a picture of mady's legs,when she was trying on Kates shoes.People for some reason had a huge outcry and claimed that the photo was a "pedophile's dream photo."and made alot of accusations that she was trying to attract pedophiles.Like seriously people,thats like saying we can't upload a picture of our child's hand because we may attract pedophiles.Whatever the reason Kate uploaded that picture,i highly doubt she was trying to get pedophile's attentions.
However there is also no reason why Jon shouldn't be allowed to see two of his children and yet that is happening.

Whoa there. Who said, other than a few innuendos in this thread recently and apparently some blatant statements made on twitter, that he's "not allowed" to see them? I have a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach that a few statements/questions here are going to smolder and in a few months be construed as fact -- as happens often today with gossip and social media. Someone is going to take these few statements and run with them as I think I'm already seeing happen.
I think it's unfair to Jon and his relationship with his children to keep making comments and/or assumptions like this.
We've discussed this here before and what is known about the situation is -- we don't know and anything more is pure speculation. It's uncomfortable seeing this written and assumed to be fact when there is nothing to support it. I'm not, nor have I ever been a Jon or Kate fan, but I am a fan of the G-kids and I don't think talk about the details of their relationship with their father should be fodder for strangers to speculate and gossip about especially when no one but the people directly involved should know about anyway. We've followed this family for years and feel we know them; I get it, but there are some things that are private and should remain that way.
Sorry for the rant, but the recent speculation, assumptions and statements about custody really hit me wrong. I'm so ready for a break in this ungodly heatwave.

Jon himself has said he can't see two of his kids and he doesn't know why!
Maybe "allowed" was the wrong word to choose, but I wasn't implying that a court is not allowing it. I was referring to how apparently Kate isn't allowing it. Jon is kept from seeing his two kids.
Again, maybe "allowed" was the wrong word to choose. But something or someone is keeping him from seeing his children. He said it himself many times. He claims he doesn't know why.
I've never speculated why he's not seeing them. I have no clue.
As for discussing that "private" situation Jon himself has mentioned it many times publicly.

Yes it makes sense. And I agree with you. Unfortunately, those kids are living public lives. They are on tv and both Jon and Kate speak about them and post pics, etc. Jon speaks publicly about his custody, etc. People are going to comment and speculate. Whether it's meant maliciously or with good intent.
Jon and Kate need to keep their children and their issues private if they expect people to respect their privacy. Can't have it both ways.

Also, in thefutoncritic.com, which usually has the news about shows before anyone else, it still shows that the show is "on hiatus or fate to be determined". The only place I've seen that Jon doesn't see two of his kids is Radar's article dated Feb 6, 2016. Other articles from other gossip rags from Jan, Feb and June, 2016 quote him as saying he hasn't the one boy for over a year.
Radar seem to pull things out of thin air more often than not.

I don't know about the twins but Jon said he usually gets just four and for the past couple of years he only posts pics of the same four kids. So if he gets only four and the pics are the same four all the time......
I know it's been discussed, even here, that it seems he doesn't see the one sextuplet girl regularly, and from Jon's comment about only the four at at time and his posts etc. it seems that's the case. But you're right, he didn't include her in his comment.

Idk, but anytime we see photos it seems Alexis and Collin are not there (such as 4th of July) and he stated he only gets 4 at a time. Also it was once said the twins chose not to see him??? But Collin apparently has been 1 1/2 years with no visitation. I assume the other kids see Jon occasionally. I know this doesn't answer the question, but my question would be why this continues- I know Jon is trying to right the wrong but can you force a child to go/prevent them at their ages ? It's a mystery.

The point of my comment was of all the interviews I found online, Radar was the only one that had that about Jon saying he doesn't even know what half his kids look like.
When I have time I'll get you links to those interviews.
There was one with Yahoo and two with US Weekly, all done in 2016 and of those three, he never mentioned anything about not knowing what half his kids look like---he only mentions not seeing Collin. Radar is the only one.
I don't trust what Radar reports.
That said, if there are pictures without one of the girls perhaps it's true. I don't like to speculate and I am uncomfortable talking about the kids in general. I realize they're in the public eye, but they're kids. They didn't make the choice.
Kate has said the kids or some of them are getting therapy. Are they getting help so they would be ok with seeing Jon again/ I know she has the control over the kids with the custody she probably has control over who they see and what the therapist can cover with them but I think they could use some joint therapy with Jon and no meddling from the control witch.

If Milo wouldn't be such an over-bearing and obnoxious pest, she'd actually be quite a hoot. The sad thing is, though, I think that there's something very wrong with her. No normal "happily married" female lusts for a middle-aged divorced woman. It goes way beyond a girl crush, and that's what is so sad. Even more pathetic is that it doesn't appear that there is anyone in her family or circle of friends to rein her in and get her the help she needs, and so she just bumbles along, making a laughingstock of herself, jamming that foot into her mouth on many occasions. Theres a lot we don't know, but I feel that no matter the whys and wherefores, the Gosselin family situation post divorce is a terrible outcome.
Going into the show, there were 2 married parents raising 8 children in a home. Now, there is an acrimonious divorce, ZERO co-parenting, mutual disdain between the parents, and half the children don't seem to spend any or enough time with Jon to actually be parented by him.
I don't know how or when it went off the rails, but this is a very bad outcome for children of divorce. I think the loss of relationship with Jon will be something that will leave some of the kids at risk for many things throughout their lives.

That's about an hour northeast of Kate. She could have made the trip and embraced them with open arms!
The twins are 14 or 15. I have seen lots of times that kids that age don't want to keep the regular visitation schedule with dad. They find it boring or annoying to have to pack up and go away every other weekend and not have their own rooms and stuff to do and whatever. There are a lot of arguments for and against forcing them to keep the schedule. (Aside from all of Kate and Jon's issues.) A dad might agree to see them more on their own terms. Maybe just the twins with no tups or even one twin at a time doing dinner or another activity. They might also demand no pictures on his instagram. I hope Jon sees the twins but treats them like they are growing and changing. Moms with custody have to adapt to growing teenagers (in general, not Kate probably) so dads should try to also.
I don't understand the outcast tups. Why are C and A apparently rejected by their siblings and isolated by Kate? If Kate dislikes them so much, wouldn't she want to send them away for the weekend? Did she think Jon favored them so she keeps them away? There is some warped justification in Kate's mind for it.

Agree, but maybe she's happy this way. Some people need to be miserable in order to be happy. It's what they need to sustain them -- the thrill of being the martyr for the cause (in this case, Kate), the pouting and such. This is just the way that she is. It's a somewhat twisted way to live, but hey, whatever floats her boat. If you enjoy being laughed at, and she apparently does, then nothing will ever change with her, and she probably doesn't want it to. The status quo for her is being the court jester, and not meeting Kate. It works for her.

Where it's going to matter is if and when someday Milo realizes her love is not being reciprocated.
This is how virtually all violence or inappropriate behavior happens at the hands of fans--when they realize they are not getting what they need from or thought they had with their celeb.
I haven't posted in a while, and I don't plan on posting much in the future. One of the reasons I joined this blog was my concern for the kids. I felt that they were both manipulated by both their mother and father, and used as pawns in their parents’ quest for fame.
I thought that people here wanted the kids to be off TV, and to lead a normal life. They wanted the kids to have a right to privacy and to live their lives away from the spotlight. That’s what I had hoped when the series was originally cancelled, but due to both their mother AND their father, apparently that will never happen.
Kate is accused of exploiting the kids for her own agenda. I think Jon does the same thing. If he wants people to respect the privacy of his kids, then he shouldn't talk about them AT ALL.
And if this blog, also wants to respect the privacy of the kids, there shouldn't be speculation about their finances, what they feel or not feel, or what their own agenda is. I feel the people on this blog are just as irresponsible as the Gosselin kids’ parents in not giving those kids their right to privacy. Speculation abounds which kids don't see Jon, why they don't see him, etc. People tweet Jon asking questions about the kids finances, etc. Why do they consider it their business to know?
People can speculate all they want, but they will never know the whole story and we have no right to know, if we really want to respect their right to privacy.
I feel bad for those kids, but whatever is going on in their lives is something that should only be between them and their parents, not used as fodder to speculate who is the "better" parent.
If we truly care about those kids, we shouldn't want to know what the custody arrangements are, which kids Jon sees, and why he doesn't see others or what they're financial status is.
In other words, what goes on in the Gosselin kids world is theirs and theirs alone to know.
People may claim that we have a right to know, because they are "public" persons. But that was not their choice--that was their parents' choice. But that doesn't give us the right to know the personal details of their finances, their visitation/ custody arrangements, etc.
That's all I have to say.
If we truly care about those kids, we shouldn't want to know what the custody arrangements are, which kids Jon sees, and why he doesn't see others or what they're financial status is.

I think you're absolutely right and I've gotten to a point of acceptance where this is really on Jon to do whatever he needs to do and I don't concern myself with his choices.
I am one of those who does not at all feel at all judgmental when he responds the way he does, it is hard to stay silent when it's about such emotional matters of the heart. It's easy to say don't say anything when it's not your kids.
I do feel a little uncomfortable though asking people not to talk about this, even somewhat shaming them for talking about it, when Jon himself keeps bringing it up. That's like saying watch the top news story tonight, but you're not allowed to say anything about it to anyone. This is akin to this week's Gosselin "top news" story.
I may be one of the few who believes Milo is who she says she is, a fifty something year old woman with a deteriorating bone disease. That makes me doubt she's much of a threat unless she'll make her getaway after some attack in a supersonic wheelchair.

She certainly was worked into a frenzy the night of Kate's birthday, and it sounded like Kate was worried, and I don't blame her. Milo's tweets were really misleading, and I'm not sure of what she is capable of. You just never know. I continue to follow this blog in order to keep track of TFMJG's gradual disappearance from the public eye---she hasn't been off the air for this long so I think it's happening--and to see how the kids are doing. This blog will be around for years to come unfortunately, if for no other reason than to chart the long-term effects of being on reality TV on innocent children. What is or isn't in the children's bank accounts or how many of the children see Jon are secondary issues which the parents (mostly Jon) will have to (or not)handle. Reading the different posts reminds me of the debate re: TFMJG's nursing education.

Kate announced her new shows premiering in Oct. and there has been such a profound lack of response. This is a huge shift. She's been out of the public eye and has ignored her fans for so long that it might just be that people are "over" her.
Tucker's Mom (#53), yes, it's highly unusual with TFW's fan base to have such a weak response to the announced episodes. Especially after a prolonged absence on the schedule. The first episode may top a million viewers, but could be followed by the usual decline.

Blowing in the wind....ol Boots and Patty's divorce will be final in less than a month and he has been shacking up with a couple different gals...from what her church friends say, he beat her up a lot and she would end up calling the squad (rescue) to take her to the ER for treatment. I have to admit I'm very curious about what TLC will do for the twins'
16th birthday in October. I'm thinking some kind of spa trip out of town for TFW, the twins, and Deanna. It would cost next to nothing for TLC if the location can be comped by promoting it. And they could get an episode out of it. Teens vs. Adults! Oh, man, they are so different! They can't agree on anything! And they could show clips of the twins as little girls (with their loving father carefully edited out), and TFW can poke and dab and talk about how hard it's been raising her children alone.
Oh, and they can air the episode in 2019.
Sleepless.....the Tower is a Section 8 high rise and I think the Hacker must be someone breaking in to the units when people are gone, I think that is what it is. I am not positive, but from the things they talk about, it seems to be someone breaking and entering. These ladies get their words mixed up a lot. One of them thinks WiFi is Hi-Fi. They truly believe in ghosts and spells. When a tenant at the Towers passes, they alert that there is a vacancy even giving the unit number and the name of the deceased. I guess they don't understand what waiting lists are when it comes to Section 8 housing.

I hope Kate has not been keeping those puppies out in this extreme heat. It could kill them easily, and I don't trust Kate to understand (or care) that baby dogs, like human babies, are more susceptible to heat illness and death.

I know I've mentioned it before, but this is part of the reason Kate never made it as a food expert, lover or author. There's nothing about her that says she enjoys food. She eats to live, and that's fine. However, that's not why people watch food television or buy food publications.
Me? I'd seek out local, Mom & Pop indie restaurants, or landmark places where you can really immerse yourself in the food culture of a destination.
Last month, DH went to TX for a business trip. He was soooooooooooooooo excited to be taken to Cooper's BBQ that he texted me photos of his meal, served on paper!
Give me 24 hours and I will plumb the food depths anywhere.
I don't want to watch you eat a steak while you proclaim that you NEVER eat steak. Or cake. Or anything that's not salad.

The point is she has tried to market herself as a cookbook author and foodie. Part of that is using her travel opportunities to explore food.
She had another golden opportunity to go to a fun city and try out some local cuisine and then social media about it, and she blew it. Often bloggers will try some new food in a new city, then go home and recreate the dish themselves. The blog post writes itself. She could have gotten deep dish pizza then made it at home. She just hasn't the first clue how to market herself and take advantage of her surroundings, and it's fascinating to watch.
And, even if the twins wanted a chain restaurant, there's nothing wrong with telling them no and taking them someplace local. There are several PF Changs near them in PA, they can go there when they get home. Taking them to local places helps foster kids who slide in and out of their comfort zones without protest and are easy going travelers when the foods you know are not available.
Speaking of travel, I'm going to be in Philadelphia this month, downtown! Very excited to be back on the East Coast my home! Any good recommendations? I won't have a car so needs to be within walking distance of the Liberty Bell or accessible by public transportation.
Admin, I saw the PF Changs picture, I was appalled. I immediately thought, WHY would you go all the way to Chicago and eat THAT when you can get THAT at home! Is she trying to show that she is eating on a budget? No wonder she didn't post pictures of $170 lunch at NOBU after the crying jag on the TODAY Show about having bull, I mean bills in her purse that she couldn't drop in the mail because she didn't have the money to pay them! I think she felt confident enough to go to NOBU because she knew she would at least get enough from the publoolic to cover it, but I highly expect that it came out of the food budget paid for by the TODAY Show.
Even Steve telling her it was not a wise idea to go to NOBU after what she just did on camera, she got worse. I WANT NOBU! I WANT NOBU!

These qualities are ALWAYS found in anyone who has made it in the food world (or any world, actually). Watch Next Food Network star and you get a very good idea of what it takes to be credible in the food world, and it starts with sincere passion.
At a chain restaurant, she gets mildly excited over some tasteless iceberg lettuce and some unidentifiable mush that is maybe chicken, snaps a poorly composed badly lit photo, not even bothering to move the plate a bit to get a little better lighting or a better sense of what she's even eating, and lord knows she won't bother to explain what it is beyond "lettuce wraps, de-lish!" and that's the extent of her effort. That's not going to cut it, yet she thinks it does, which is the funny part.
The paler tongues also could mean dehydration. Hopefully that's the normal color for each pup. In the extreme weather though I always worry about animals!And outdoor water bowls can really heat up.

I don't know what she was trying to show but I doubt it was budgeting. PF Changs is not cheap, at least the one I went to in Santa Monica. It was overpriced and they had the music blasting so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. We were better off going 25 miles down the road to the ethnic neighborhoods and getting real Chinese for a quarter of the price.
She could have eaten at one of the many local restaurants on a budget. I was in Park City last month and we took great pleasure in tracking down some of the tastiest restaurants and then picking one. We ended up at Maxwell's East Coast Eatery, which was once featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. I guess we could have eaten at Sizzler's. But I don't think they could have beat my eggplant parm sandwich. It was very reasonably priced, especially if you go for lunch instead of dinner and order local beers.
I guess part of me is kind of bummed for the kids, they have all these opportunities yet thanks to Kate's ineptness are missing out on one of the greatest joys of traveling, which is the local food. Look how much fun they had in Maine when they ate at a local joint and Mady ordered lobster. They had a blast.

I think just general good local restaurants. I've had a lot of Philly food over they years and don't have a burning desire for a cheesesteak, though certainly open to that! --just looking for good local food at a sit down restaurant. Not too fancy, not too casual.

Admin, if you get a chance to get to Reading Terminal Market, I highly recommend it, especially for anyone new to Philly. If you're interested in Philly's roast pork sandwich, you can hardly go wrong at DiNic's.
For dinner, maybe a little splurge, but certainly not to be missed is Zahav in Old City, which is nearby. One of Philly's best restaurants, it offers Israeli-Mediterranean cuisine.

I agree that the PF Chang's dinner was a blown opportunity. Why not encourage the kids to try new things? That's part of the adventure of travel--trying new things. I am proud of the fact that my kids are very adventurous eaters. We have lived and traveled all over the world, thanks to my DH's 23-year military career, and we have always exposed our sons as much as possible to other cultures and foods. Whenever we go places, we search online to find local specialties to try. Then we all get something different and share with the whole table so everyone gets to try each dish. We don't always like everything, but it's the experience that matters.
I bet the G kids didn't even try Vegemite when they were in Australia. Not that they would like it, but for the experience--it's something almost as common in Australia as peanut butter in America. My kids tried Vegemite and Marmite while traveling. They didn't care for either one, but it's an experience they still talk about. They loved things like Nutella and Branston pickle and curry ketchup and red quince jelly before they really caught on in America. Any of my kids, given the choice, would choose sushi or authentic Udon rather than a burger.

That episode aired last week, and Molly did make a big fuss over a surprise announcement of her job offer.
It did somewhat strike me as odd. Molly seems like a pretty open book kid who keeps her parents in the loop every second. Seemed a bit odd she would hold out on such important news then announce it in front of everyone, especially knowing it bums her parents out a little. I would have expected her to tell them first, then tell everyone else. But then that's not as exciting, no big reveal. Fine acting by all though.

I believe TFW would spend the duration of every vacation in the hotel's spa. She outed herself with the Utah trip. She couldn't accompany the tups as they went skiing for the first time (world's worst headache, you know), but managed to make it to the spa. The tups were tiny kids back then, and I would imagine having their mommy with them when they tried something new would've been a great comfort. But her needs came first -- always have, always will.
News about the pilot of the hot air balloon crash in TX. He is 49 and has 4 DWI's on his record. His last one was in 2010. He settled a lawsuit in 2013 because of a balloon crash.
He said it was because of lack of wind. The people suing said it was lack of propane.

I would think that whatever happens with the 8 will be news on just a minor occurrence simply

The funny thing is, I always considered myself rather parochial. I grew up in the Midwest, and never left the US until I married a soldier. But--it's all about getting out of your comfort zone and trying out new things. When we talk about our travels, it's always the scary (or gross or weird) things we recall most fondly. Using slit trenches in Korea. Being attacked by swarms of bugs in Alice Springs. Our encounter with a huge wild boar while hiking in the Grunewald. Terrifying (but thrilling) luge rides in Garmisch-Partenkirchen ( Which I probably would not have done if not for my kids: "I'll go but only if Mom goes too"!). Nude beaches. Scorpions. I wouldn't trade any of it for spa visits. But--I think the G's trip to Alaska included some things my family might do. Whale watching and the helicopter trip to the glacier are things my family would love. Soon, hopefully!

We did try kangaroo in Australia, and also crocodile. We have not tried bear. I'm going to have to put that on our "must try" list. The one thing we will never try is kagogi. That's Korean for dog meat. We saw it in a butcher shop in Anjongni, and asked what it was (it was such an odd shade of red). We agreed, on the spot, that that is the one thing our family will never eat.
No mention of any film crew in Chicago. Could it be that the Gs are taking an actual vacation? With no work involved? Maybe Kate suckered TLC into providing plane tickets and lodging (in return for showing up for the block party) so she could get a free vacation. Let's hope they actually do something they couldn't just do at home instead. PF Chang's and going to the movies are not unique to Chicago, but maybe that's all she was willing to pay for (or could get for free).

We have lived all over the country/world and I wouldn't change a minute of it and now that we're settled in one place I miss the moving every three years, seeing new places and trying new/local foods. My son will try anything once and, like your kids, would rather try something different than eat at a chain restaurant. If TFW gets so excited over a lettuce wrap at PF Changs she really is mediocre.

And that's the thing, I really don't care if she wants to go to PF Changs or McDoanlds or whatever on her vacation. But she has emphasized how great traveling is for the children, she has emphasized the foodie side of her, she has written a cookbook. Pioneer Woman wouldn't be caught dead at PF Changs on a road trip, that's a waste of company funds when she could eat at a local eatery, take some fantastic well lit photos, then go home and blog about recreating the recipe. That is why she is a success. She milks every last drop out of a company trip.
Let's be honest, traveling is all about Kate. She doesn't want to take the time to research and go to some new restaurant she doesn't know--that's work. She doesn't want to be out of her comfort zone--that's work. She doesn't want to have to do the work of blogging about it or recreating recipes. No, she wants her PF Changs. She likes it, it tastes good to her, and it's on TLC's dime.
With Kate it's never about maximizing her brand or doing what's in her own best interest. It's simply about what Kate wants Kate gets.

Yes, many times. One of our good friends is a pilot. I have more fun, though, being in the lead chase van! It's always a challenge to figure out where they will land, and how to get there, especially if it's in a field with no access roads! I would not, however, trust anyone to pilot one except for my friend. I don't like flying in planes, but hot air balloons don't bother me. Go figure. I'm weird.

Thanks Tucker, I have actually been to Reading Terminal Market, ten years ago. But here's the funny thing, when I went I was just getting over a bad case of food poisoning, which I contracted out of the country, and I think the only thing I got was a smoothie to try to get some fluid and nutrients in me. I am excited to go back and actually eat real food there. I'm glad to hear that's near where I'll be downtown and glad to be reminded of it.

I am so thankful to the military for all the experiences we have enjoyed. There is no way we could ever have taken our family to do so much on our own. I have a family of adventurers--they'll try anything within reason. But we made the most of every assignment and every trip. Now that DH is retired and working his post-military job, I miss the excitement of going somewhere new every 3 years and having a whole new place to explore.
I just don't understand why someone like Kate, who has the privilege of traveling with her family, does not make the most of every opportunity she is given. The kids were so young when they did so much of their traveling, they may not really remember it. Now that they are old enough to remember it all, this is the time to expose them to new experiences. Watching them on videos is just not the same.

Kids graduating and getting married, parents spitting up, conflict, etc. K+8? Not so much. They keep coming up with the same scenarios, over and over.Shop, travel, shop, travel, look back. One thing the Gosselins really struggle with in terms of "plot" i think is having the children always at only two ages, at this point 11 and 15.
Having kids stretched out at various ages brings many more chances for interesting age-related plot things to happen. For instance some kids getting married or having babies, others graduating college, still others graduating high school and moving out for the first time.
I think there's a little too much uniformity right now at ages 11 and 15 which makes finding interesting story lines harder, though not impossible. And they're at an awkward age where they're not young enough to still be cute, but not old enough to have the independence that brings interesting story lines.
I'm pretty sure Kate's primary motivation here is trips. If there is a good story line to be had right at the house, she's still going to push the trips aspect of it over the better storyline. She doesn't do what's best for the show, she does what's best for Kate. To her own detriment.

Oh, I can understand why August is probably off the table. It's probably going to be a wash for most networks, and they'll just air reruns. But what about all the other months?! They've had footage in the can just waiting to air since winter.
The big problem with this for Kate is that so much of the appeal for the fans seems to be "watching the kids grow up." If you air stale footage in October of the kids from 9 months ago, you lose that appeal. The fans are smart enough to know that's not what they look like now and want more updated footage.

Agree 100% Tucker's Mom! My puppy is just a day younger than hers and I passed on going to a conference because he's far too young to leave at this point. Yes, my husband would be home with him but we're in the process of training him (puppy manners class tonight) and that's something that you can't slack off on because the minute a puppy sees a leaf blowing across the grass that's all that they think of (and I know that my husband doesn't stand out there and repeat "go pee/poop" as much as I do). You've got to be especially vigilant with housebreaking because the minute they stop playing and begin to wander you've got to scoop them up and tell them "let's go potty outside!" An update on my pup, he hasn't had an accident in the house for over a week and he can go all night (11-5) without having to be let out. Progress!

It is important for a young pup to have his primary caregivers there in those first early months to ensure training of consistency and promote bonding. I got my pup just after finishing school when I was waiting for bar results, which take a whopping FOUR MONTHS to be released--and wouldn't be working for several months other than some part time gigs on the weekend, but they let me bring the puppy! It's an awful transition time for lawyers since few firms at that time in a bad economy would hire people who didn't know bar results. But a PERFECT time to get a puppy and he is such a good boy about potty and behaving himself, which I have to give credit to all that hard work at the beginning.
I often think I don't know how I will ever raise as nice of a another dog again as I'll never have that four solid months of free time again.

My old Garmins were on the dash. I'd remove them and lock them in the storage compartment when I'd stop and park. A few times I forgot to do so. Two times the car was broken into, windows smashed, Garmins gone, and it wasn't even in bad neighborhoods. That was a few years ago. I don't know if they are still thief magnets or not. Mine worked great on the dash, under the rear view mirror.

A GPS has to have a clear view of the sky to work, since it depends on a clear line-of-sight to satellites.
We have a satellite radio, and its antenna has to have a clear view of the sky as well. We have ours just lying in the middle of the dashboard. Sometimes the signal cuts out due to "terrain" (mountains or buildings or tunnels or even the canopy/roof in a gas station). Sometimes moving it around on the dashboard restores the signal, sometimes it doesn't.

tweeted a personal apology to Jon Gosselin for something I said six years ago out of anger and l deleted it 10 minutes later. Six years ago I tweeted I wish Jon got hit by a car, in coma for 6 months but totally healthy after months of rehab. I just wanted him and girlfriend #6 to STFU and stop selling information about Kate, separation/divorce and children to television, print and digital tabloids.
Why did I delete my personal apology to Jon Gosselin? Today, I read something disturbing about him.
Remember when Jon went on the talk shows and gave magazine interviews and stated he hasn't seen his son Collin in almost two years? Well, it looks like one of Kate Gosselin's nosy haters went to county courthouse to review their children's visitation arrangement.
Low and behold! Not only has Jon not seen Collin, he has not seen one the the girl tups. Funny Jon didn't mention that. He didn't mention it was a family court order. If he did folks would have questioned him. Not only that, the daughter he hasn't seen by court order didn't hear her dad on Wendy Williams and Steve Harvey TV shows express concern for not seeing her. What an immature and cruel thing to do! Daddy Jon is only concerned for Collin...not his daughter.
Now....let me see if I got this right. According to one of Kate's nosy haters, Jon does NOT have custody. He can have unsupervised visitation every other weekend and Tuesday dinner. In actuality, he usually has 3 kids on the weekend. Cara and Mady choose to do "whatever" and don't visit Jon that much.
The man doesn't pay child support. He's a DJ and he had a 2nd job cooking at T.G.I.F. before TMZ made fun of him working (I disliked TMZ for that). And to top it off, Jon stated he gave his restaurant check to charity instead of to his children. What...the....f**k?!?!
Some of Kate's hardcore haters like to remind me of what I tweeted about Jon six years ago. I have publicly stated I was wrong for tweeting that. I just wish wish those hardcore, hateful and harassing witches would have the same indignation for Jon when he went on a reality TV show (Celebrity Couples) and said he wished Kate would fucking die. Crickets.
Do you know one of the things I admire about Kate? She keeps mouth shut even when she KNOWS Jon is lying.

In most states such visitation orders usually can't just be examined by the public absent a court order. It's not like a criminal case file which can be public record and you can "order".
Jon and Kate's case was sealed years ago. You can't just pull up and take a peek.

A court ordered Jon to NOT see or have contact with 2 of his children?
I can see a court saying that they wonder order 2 kids to visit, but on what grounds would a court bar a father from seeing 2 of his kids, but allow him unsupervised visits with 6 others.
This "report" is nothing but info. gathered from the media.
Unless just anyone can walk into the county court and request to see custody orders.

Jamesvader - I have no idea who Goody is talking about. Maybe it came to her in a dream.
You know what, even assuming for argument's sake it's true there is a court order about no visits, which is impossible to believe, what does that have to do with Goody apologizing for wishing someone hurt or dead?
Because someone is having visitation problems you aren't going to apologize for wishing harm on them?
What's more, how does she know the reasons Jon is having issues with the kids isn't DIRECTLY related to parental alienation and directly on Kate's shoulders? Just because there are visitation problems doesn't mean the parent has done something wrong, that's just the reality of the complexities of child custody, especially when parents don't get along. I never trust it when a kid doesn't want to see a parent, there is ALWAYS more to the story other than oh they're just a bad person, and people who have their best interest at heart will flesh that out before jumping to conclusions.
@Admin Because Kate's never to blame for anything,its always someone else fault.Even if its true that Collin hates his father due to i don't know what reason,like someone here said,shouldn't Kate as a "loving"mother want Collin and Alexis to go to Jon's and have him spend time with them more?I don't know Jon but the thing is i highly doubt that hes a douchebag because if he was,i'd think not only there'd be more kids who wouldn't want to see him,but also i'd think his current girlfriend would of caught on to him a few weeks into their relationship and broke up with him a long time ago.Its weird cause every source i get about meeting Jon claims that hes a nice guy,i have not seen one source who's claim to meet him and say he's an A hole.
I think Jon's ease with getting along with most everyone in the Couples Therapy house including the therapist, his numerous friends, his healthy contact with biological family, and his ability to have long term relationships with decent women other than Kate, suggest it's not him that is the common denominator here. I think the only big part of him that is influencing this visitation issue is his apparent refusal to force the issue. While I think his passiveness comes from his heart being in the right place and not wanting to "hurt" his children by amping things up, what you learn working in family law is that sometimes children need to be forced to do things they don't want to do or think they don't want to do in order to move forward. The old one step back two steps forward. That's why we are the adults and they are the children. Jon won't do that because he just doesn't have it in him, and that is an issue.
Not to mention we've seen his abilities as a father multiples times on the show and could compare it to Kate as a parent. We have a pretty good lens on this more than most.
