Excellent comment above! Kate's fears are real, I can see that. I would not lose my ever-loving sh*t over and over again in front of my kids. Just wouldn't. After Kate saw herself in that tower jump and how much stress she caused her children, you'd think she would sit out the things that cause her to freak. Or, she should take whatever it was she was taking on the balloon ride. Well, not as much, but a therapeutic dose to take the edge off and blunt the panic attack so it doesn't reach the threshold it reaches where she's hyperventilating and crying uncontrollably. It very unfair to the kids.

We did a Segway tour on Hilton Head Island last year, at the Coastal Discovery Museum. Easy to learn to drive the thing, lots of fun. I was slow, because I'm slow and cautious, nothing wrong with that!

We were on "off-road" Segways with extra wide tires, and got to check out some spots not on the regular tour. We had plenty of time to explore. Ive never been brave enough to try a jetski.

I don't have the episodes straight. I think there was a game night filmed way back last winter, maybe around the time of the blizzard. That would include Colin. Since everything is out of order, it would look like Colin is back. I don't even know for sure if they'll show it.

True, I understand that but I don't think it was necessarily the right thing to teach them. But Joel and Aaden seemed to have taken on Jon's personality. Calm, chill, laid-back. But I do agree that ALL of the children should've been taught not to hit each other. That is for damn sure.
So after tonight's episode, there are 2 shows left? The twins' birthday and some kind of game night/clip show? Who thinks that the twins will be given either a car each or at least 1 car to share? Which they will have bought themselves? Unless Katie traded in her Audi to buy their car(s), it will fall very flat with viewers. Just more of the 1% lifestyle with Katie bemoaning the time that has passed, there are now 3 drivers in the family, the high cost of car insurance, etc.
Last time TLC does canceled Kate, she kept quiet except for pictures, tweets, etc. If there's truly no chance TLC will ever film her again and in light of the church picture, will she try to get on the UP channel? Will she try a pity tour, complaining that the big, bad, TLC network seduced her with $, trips, and home improvements?
I am more convinced than ever (kudos to the poster who called it) that she downplayed and hid the issues with Colin as much as possible, especially the fact that he was taken out of the home, presenting it as a fait accompli and TLC had no choice but to continue filming (whether due to lack of other shows to film or Katie downplaying Colin's length of treatment). TLC was smart enough to hold off airing the episodes until Katie & Kate Coyne forced their hand with the People cover/interview. At that point, TLC probably said f--- it, deciding to let the chips fall where they may. I truly think TLC is done with Kate, at least for a very long time if not forever. I also think the family court system is going to/already has lowered the boom on her, will give custody of at least Colin to Jon and make it very clear that visitation of all the children with Jon is to happen. Again, if Katie is found guilty of child abuse of any of the children, she can lose her nursing license.
Last, but not least I don't think that the girls are pushing/hitting, shoving the boys when they are with Jon. I'm not excusing any of the girl's violent behavior towards their brothers, but they and the boys know they can get away with it at Kate's house.

In a general example, what if a man is with a woman who is not only emotionally, but physically abusive? Is he supposed to just sit back and take the abusive? Either way, I just don't think it was right for him to say "I don't care if they're trying to kill you, you don't ever touch a girl". So what are they supposed to do then? Ratings should be way down again tonight. Even those on FB that have been watching today have tuned out because of her. She used to have fb fans, but hardly a few positive comments. People are sick of her.
Maybe the kids are with Jon and TFW skipped town? She sure wouldn't bother tweeting if she was off getting pampered somewhere. Heck, she could've already been away on Christmas when she posted her Norman Rockwell holiday fantasy.
I don't have the episodes straight. I think there was a game night filmed way back last winter, maybe around the time of the blizzard. That would include Colin. Since everything is out of order, it would look like Colin is back. I don't even know for sure if they'll show it.
We have a tricky climate right now. Men have faced prosecution for fighting back after a woman hit them. Maybe Jon just wants them to be non-violent. I don't know. But if you're going to teach your kids not to hit, teach all of them!! It's not right the way the girls are allowed to treat the boys.

You know , Kate , it is not impressive at all when you make a fool of your self over trivial things like bugs and water and docks ! You are a MOTHER and you should learn to internalize some some of the things that scare you for the sake of the kids !! I've heard them say several times how embarrassing it is to them and eventually they will quit wanting to do things with you if you don't learn how to control yourself !!! Tonight might just be her last chance for decent ratings this season. TLC has done some promotion, People mag has done some promotion, here was a marathon, people can stay up late. Next week will be bad (twins' birthday). The finale--that's a hard one to call. More people tend to watch finale episodes, plus Collin will be on. We'll have to wait and see on that one.

I don't think anyone's going to be saying, "how high?" when Kate says, "jump!" anymore. She'd have major cajones to ask again that people post public signs to support her show. I think people would rather post signs that say, "Where is Collin?".
Oh wow, K+8 is an "other" now? That's funny! I wonder when that happened. I looked at TLC's twitter, and LPBW and Outdaughtered each have two pictures posted to promote tonight's shows. There is a short mention of K+8--just one-- and no pictures to promote tonight's show.

True, I understand that but I don't think it was necessarily the right thing to teach them. But Joel and Aaden seemed to have taken on Jon's personality. Calm, chill, laid-back. But I do agree that ALL of the children should've been taught not to hit each other. That is for damn sure.

So after tonight's episode, there are 2 shows left? The twins' birthday and some kind of game night/clip show? Who thinks that the twins will be given either a car each or at least 1 car to share? Which they will have bought themselves? Unless Katie traded in her Audi to buy their car(s), it will fall very flat with viewers. Just more of the 1% lifestyle with Katie bemoaning the time that has passed, there are now 3 drivers in the family, the high cost of car insurance, etc.
Last time TLC does canceled Kate, she kept quiet except for pictures, tweets, etc. If there's truly no chance TLC will ever film her again and in light of the church picture, will she try to get on the UP channel? Will she try a pity tour, complaining that the big, bad, TLC network seduced her with $, trips, and home improvements?
I am more convinced than ever (kudos to the poster who called it) that she downplayed and hid the issues with Colin as much as possible, especially the fact that he was taken out of the home, presenting it as a fait accompli and TLC had no choice but to continue filming (whether due to lack of other shows to film or Katie downplaying Colin's length of treatment). TLC was smart enough to hold off airing the episodes until Katie & Kate Coyne forced their hand with the People cover/interview. At that point, TLC probably said f--- it, deciding to let the chips fall where they may. I truly think TLC is done with Kate, at least for a very long time if not forever. I also think the family court system is going to/already has lowered the boom on her, will give custody of at least Colin to Jon and make it very clear that visitation of all the children with Jon is to happen. Again, if Katie is found guilty of child abuse of any of the children, she can lose her nursing license.
Last, but not least I don't think that the girls are pushing/hitting, shoving the boys when they are with Jon. I'm not excusing any of the girl's violent behavior towards their brothers, but they and the boys know they can get away with it at Kate's house.

There will always be those who enjoy the show, think Kate is funny, her antics and attitude is amusing, and one just has to wonder why this is so. How can someone find her arrogance, her condescending attitude, her rudeness and her screaming "funny." I wonder if those fans are like that in their day to day living.

She's something else, isn't she? In her Twitter profile, she says that Milo is her cat; Jack is her dog. What about Katie Irene, the adopted dog? There's no mention of her. You'd think that she would at least mention her somewhere in her profile. She certainly was in the throes of giddiness when she adopted her on Kate's birthday. That's one time I was really worried for Kate's safety. Milo was insane that night. I mean, more so than usual.
