Poconos here we come! There's plenty of competition, chaos and family fun when Kate and the kids take on archery tag, tubing and new puppies! 60 Min. | PG
Stop it, chef, you're making too much sense! Yes, all 7 remaining Gosselin children all in the same school. Very few single mothers of more than a couple of kids have it so easy. And the 8th child, well, we know visiting him is not among her priorities. And maybe she's not even allowed.
its like watching an episode of "intervention" All Im waithing for is for the kids to be rescued and Khate be carried off, only she wont ever agree to that cause thats agreeing that she was/is on the ......
I don't understand why she keeps doing this media thing, looking for sympathy when she's not going to get it. Just shut up. The tabloid stories are hurtful? Yes, I imagine they are, but setting the record straight and telling her side of the story is opening herself up for even more criticism and scrutiny. It's a vicious cycle, but she's just too darn dumb to realize it.
Has anyone else seen the whole interview and can copy the part where she talked about letting the kids see Jon even if it causes ouchies? I deleted the show from my DVR so can't go back and look.
Thanks for the link. Nice to see someone is finally picking up on the fact that she talks and talks and talks and makes absolutely NO sense. She really rehearsed with her catch-phrases, but she seems to drop them in and then forget where she was going. Someone really, really has to sort her out, she has gone right round the bend. Sad for the kids.
"Having an ex-husband who doesn't see the value in uplifting his children and his family, whether he chooses to be on the show or not, is extremely difficult _
Kate speak.
Jon won't let me film the S88t out of the kids and makes tons of $$$ he won't be a pushover anymore.
Oh gee, Andrea's back. And Jamie, too. No doubt she needs some support for the coming psych evaluation. Photo is of her many baked treats, because she's too cheap to get anyone a gift card.
kateplusmy8 This was today! Only 31 pans from this quadruple batch... Lots more to make in the days to come! Blessed to have Jamie and Andrea here to help! #Friends #ChristmasGifts #Yum
Jbranck, If you go to doctoroz.com, you can apparently watch any episode you want. Kate's episode should be available tomorrow. You're braver than I am. I don't need an aneurysm right now. Watching her lie for an hour is dangerous to your health.
I've got a huge gut feeling the custody court isn't going so well for her. I think it could be very possible that that is why she IMO went too far on the Dr. Oz show when she said what she did about Jon not stepping up or caring for the best interests. I think she thinks she has nothing to lose now so go for broke.
TFW never disappoints. We knew that she'd be posting an IG picture to deflect, deflect, deflect (because lately her interview just don't have the effect she'd hoped they'd have). What better than to show her holiday cheer than a picture of the fucketybillion cinnamon rolls that she bakes ever year.
This is from the link in my comment #5 from the Hollywood Gossip website.
Kate Gosselin just might be the worst person in the history of reality TV.She might be the worst person in the history of the world, not counting murderers and stuff. We know it, you know it, literally everybody knows it.Why would you put a rock in your freezer? It's hard to say. Why can't Kate Gosselin manage to be a decent person for even the tiniest little bit of time? Life is full of unanswerable questions.
Listen, we don't have time to break down all the many, many ways in which Kate Gosselin is awful, but what we do have time for is to break down this new interview she did with Dr. Oz.
First up, let's discuss this clip in which she wastes no time in throwing Jon Gosselin under the bus: There's also this bit, where Kate just can't seem to understand why people don't care for her:When asked why she gets so much media attention, she cries out "I don't know why! I'm just a mom, like all the moms everywhere."
"We're just doing our best," she insists, "and I'm really passionate about what I do and really loud about it, but, I mean, moms don't get enough credit. It's a stinking hard job."
"I mean, everything that we do we're putting the next generation out there. I don't take that lightly. I mess up a lot."
You don't say, Kate!
"But, I mean, I'm doing my best," she adds, "and I think that's the important thing to stop beating ourselves up and just to keep getting up and doing your best."
Poor Kate, huh? Poor, misunderstood Kate, who is just an absolute delight with no issues whatsoever. It hardly seems fair.
Oh, and speaking of fair, check out this last clip, the one where Kate whines about being a single mother:"I'm down a parent so I'm really outnumbered now," she says.
"I have to be kind of the mom and the dad and that's hard."
The Kate Plus 8 star continued, "It's been double duty and there's nobody to back me up so that's been - it's really challenging."
"But it's not something -- I mean, I have more than the average number of kids, but it's not something that I'm doing alone."
Is she actually about to say something that's not horrifically negative about Jon? Nope!
She explains that "there's so many single parents out there, single moms, single dads, and we're all just kind of like trying to pick up the pieces together."
"It's hard."Unfortunately, we don't have a clip of this part, but she continues on that "single parent" riff, saying that it's brought her brood closer:
"The good is the fact that we've kind of really pulled tighter."
She says that her kids are "a lot more empathetic, whether you see it really or not. Like I only have so much energy. I only have so much time."
"They are empathetic to there's just one of you." While that's the good part of being on her own, "the bad is, unfortunately, they feel torn a lot between parents and that really sucks."
Wait, did you just catch what happened there?Did she finally acknowledge the fact that she's not all on her own in the world, that her eight children have a father that has wanted to spend much more time with them for years?
Well, kind of. It's a start. Maybe.
Just be better, Kate Gosselin.
Read a book, do some Googles, figure out how to be a halfway decent human on occasion and then work on doing that.
xxxx @GoodyTruther @Liamilanat @Kateplusmy8 Kids were conceived purposefully by Kate as a money-making scheme. She called it her "Master Plan".
=== Where and when did she call it her Master Plan? I believe that she wanted multiples to use as money-makers, but did she actually admit this was her plan all along?
I bet TFW's siblings, parents, relatives, the town is shaking their heads so hard after the Oz show.
++++++++++++++++++
I don't think there's anything to shake our heads about. We know what she's like, and I really doubt that too many locals take the time to watch or even care.
Well, the Oz interview was filmed on 11/18 along with GMA and others, so not recent. But I do wonder if she had just found out that the judge was going to let Jon see the kids on Thanksgiving. That would explain so much.
Leslie said... 21 Kate was not the only guest on Dr. Oz. I noticed he had on two other people. ____ And she wasn't on the stage the whole hour, right? I think this might have been her first appearance on Oz. I don't think she'll go to Phil because I think he'd have no sympathy for her, and she knows it. She needs to stick with the really lightweight (Hoda and Kathy) programs.
She doesn't work. She doesn't have a man or close friends-(I bet). I bet she has nannies/helpers. And don't the kids go to the same school?
++++++++++++
Yes, but if sports events are scheduled at different times and places, or other activities, such as theater or music, happen at the same time, one can't be everywhere at once even if they do attend the same school.
That said, I really don't think she has too much interest in any of their activities.
You know Kate makes the claim that moms don't get enough credit. To be honest,i've seen moms get alot more credit then what she's claiming.Maybe its from my experience but i honestly think single fathers out their don't get enough credit.I've never seen anyone praising all the dads out there who are doing it all without the mother, whether the mom pasted on or isn't around.Heck i can't think of a reality show out there that has to do with a single dad. Also when a mom is struggling there's alot of praise to her but when a dad is,it seems no one cares.
She was only on for about 20 minutes. I did notice he mentioned a few time's how long they've been divorced and asked how she's adjusted to life. Um, considering it's been 7 years I'm going to say not well.
Here are the comments she made about Jon that weren't included in any of the tab stories. She talks in run-on sentences, so I tried to break it down a bit to make it easier to read.
When asked about Jon saying he doesn't know where Collin is:
"Um, just that the decisions that I make to uphold the privacy for the sake of my children sometimes includes not giving information to people you would think could keep that safe-but my kids have come first and that's hard."
When asked "What is your relationship with Jon right now?":
"Um, I don't have one. I support the kids who want to visit him. I support the kids who don't. It's their decision. It's their relationship.
I'm never going to hear the words "Mom, you kept us from our Dad."
Even at times when I feel like it's "ouchie" for them to visit, I support it.
If that's what they want because it's still their parent, even though we're not married any more. And I really, really, want my kids to turn out as whole as they possibly can.
It is a tough world, and um, it's gonna be hard but I want to support whatever they want."
Talk about word salad!! She really does have a language all her own.
I don't think this Christmas season is a very merry one for TFMJG. She may be having to give up her long 'naps' in order to meet with her lawyers and ferry everyone to their psych evaluations.
I had a thought today about the plethora of witnesses Jon could possibly call to support his bid for joint custody. I don't know that he would call family members (either side) but think of all the terminated not-a-nannies who have witnessed her crazy behavior over the years. Wasn't there a nanny/sitter that tried to stop her from going to run errands with a couple of the kids after she had been drinking? Of course, TFMJG went on her errands with the kids and fired the nanny/sitter when she came back. If TFMJG has stopped to think about all of the employees who might have a bad opinion of her, she should be shaking in her stilettos. Add the possibility of PurseBoy being forced to testify and she's probably stocking up on the wine.
Aww, Jamie and Andrea are helping TFW bake stuff for HER friends and HER neighbors? And that represents friendship to her? Here's her equation: friends = people who do sh*t for you. Does she ever reciprocate? What does she do for Jamie or Andrea? Treat them to dinner with grifted Chipotle gift cards?
OT/ Here's a fb comment regarding the breakup of the couple on Flip or Flop: "I knew it wasn't going to work. If you watch their daughter, she has no respect for Tarek. It looks like Christina and the little girl are pals, like they team up against Tarek. Big mistake when raising kids, you need to put your marriage first and everything else should fall into place, The PARENTS need to be a team and back each other up in front of the kids."
I have to say, I have noticed, too, that Christina practices parental alienation against her husband Tarek.
Christine says things to their little girl like, "Which design do you like better --- MOMMY'S (uplifted voice and jumbo smile) ---- or Daddy's (gloomy tone, pouty face).
Actually no, you tool, it's not their decision. It's the judge's decision. They are CHILDREN. If the family law order says they are to visit their dad, they are to visit their dad whether they want to or not. And, same for Kate. If the family law order says they are to see Kate, they are to see Kate. If you think there is an issue, you are to contact your lawyer, and that's IT. Leaving children to have the discretion whether they visit is a separation of powers violation. In other words, the judge is improperly delegating his or her JOB to children. She is placing a HUGE emotional burden on these kids to bear the weight of what their relationship with their father will look like. They are not old enough. It's unfair, and frankly, very immature of her. Woman up and take them to the visits and stop putting the weight of the world on children.
You know Kate makes the claim that moms don't get enough credit. To be honest,i've seen moms get alot more credit then what she's claiming.
&&&&
That comment stuck out to me as well. I also feel mothers get tons of credit. There is an incredible amount of support out there for mothers everywhere, from churches to schools to the internet. Unless a mother does something really bad, most people will give mothers a dozen free passes. Support is vast. Mothers also have their own f-ing holiday and it's a big f-ing deal holiday. I really don't know what she is referring to. What else would she like the rest of the world to do to fall down and worship those of us who happen to have a uterus and popped out a few kids from it? Can I offer a foot rub?
I think it could be very possible that that is why she IMO went too far on the Dr. Oz show when she said what she did about Jon not stepping up or caring for the best interests. I think she thinks she has nothing to lose now so go for broke.
&&&&
Does she understand pleading her case to Dr. Oz does nothing to help your family law case? It's not like the judge is watching and can consider it and will say, oh, she's right Jon really DOES sound like a deadbeat. It's like she's a child and thinks this might make a difference.
My judge would throw an absolute shitfit over the stuff she says in the media. She'd be done. She'd be done years ago.
Admin (#31), remember that first Mother's Day episode, when they all made french toast and served it to her in bed? She actually said she thought Mother's Day should be once a month. Then she shooed everyone out of the room (except one girl, to whom she gave a bite), so she enjoy her breakfast alone. Except for, you know, the camera crew, and the guy holding the boom mike over her head, and the director. "Just a mom, like all the moms everywhere" -- right, TFW?
Yes, I imagine they are, but setting the record straight and telling her side of the story is opening herself up for even more criticism and scrutiny. It's a vicious cycle, but she's just too darn dumb to realize it.
&&&
I think she's being deliberately obtuse. She knows darn well her actions feed the tabloids. She creates the problem and puts it out there for public consumption, then whines when the tabloids report on it? Pretty f-ing crazy.
I don't have tabloid stories because I live a normal and quiet life. It's as simple as that. If she doesn't want tabloid stories anymore, life a normal and quiet life.
Yes, I imagine they are, but setting the record straight and telling her side of the story is opening herself up for even more criticism and scrutiny. It's a vicious cycle, but she's just too darn dumb to realize it.

She has never provided a single solitary example of what exactly Jon does that harms his children. CLASSIC parental alienator. It's all very vague and negative, rarely specific. It's to their benefit to keep it as vague as possible. Specifics can be refuted, disputed, proved incorrect. But vague and general are harder for Jon to dispute.
Admin (#35), c'mon now, TFW gave a very specific, intelligent criticism of Jon. He's not "uplifting." Clear as mud. Too bad Dr. Oz didn't ask WTF that meant. It would've been fun to see her try to pull an answer out of her butt, ummms and all.
Oh good grief. Go to Dr. Oz's FB page & scroll down to TFMJG's Just 1 Thing video. Blech!! The umm's, eye rolls, and stupid faces make her look so juvenile.
I wish to heck Jon would have taped every interview Kate has given where she threw him under the bus. And then put all of the interviews with the clips and soundbites of her talking bad about him together in a montage of sorts. Remember around 2010-2011 or so, Kate was giving lots of interviews and really trashing him. Gee, and six years later she is still doing it. In addition he should give the judge a summary of every ugly word she said about Jon is print. To see a montage of all the sound bites of all her comments together from the past six years would be very powerful for the judge to view.
Then when the children are adults and they bring up to him how he was in not their life, he should play that same tape for them of their mother trashing him. It would prove how she has brainwashed and alienated them against him.
And to think Mady and Cara said in a People interview that Jon talks bad about them and their mother on TV. It is reverse. Jon has said very little in the press about his kids as opposed to Kate.
FlimsyFlamsy said... 34 Aww, Jamie and Andrea are helping TFW bake stuff for HER friends and HER neighbors? And that represents friendship to her? ____ I kind of picture this as Kate languishing in her bed with the vapors, Nookie by her side (she has the vapors, too), and Jamie and Andrea being the bakers.
If Jamie has to testify, she should have a LOT to say. Remember back to the "Angeline Jolie" comments during the RV trip. Is she gonna take any of that back?
FlimsyFlamsy said... 182 Totally OT, but...I am feeling so awful about what's going on in Aleppo. It's heartbreaking to know the extent of innocent people's suffering. And feeling helpless to do anything about it. December 15, 2016 at 2:15 PM ******* You are not alone. I am with you. I won't politicize, so I hope no one gets upset. This is a travesty. The human atrocities! My heart also goes out to the people of Charleston, SC for having to relive through the mass murder of their fellow Charlestonians.
misshelen37 They're beautifully done! So thoughtful of you to take the time to make homemade goods for your family and friends.
I doubt many "family and friends" will receive these, they are given to people who "service" this family in lieu of a gratuity. Can't part with any of that cold hard cash.
I just watched a behind-the-scenes show about Leah Remini's new scientology series. She's showing the executive producer around her house, and says sarcastically, "By the way, I always walk around my house in full hair and makeup, and Louis Vuittons. I don't want to the American public to think I'm being disingenuous. This is the way I wake up." Good for her for making it clear that this is NOT reality.
Hmmm. If Andrea and Jamie are there, it's for moral support, IMO. TFW must be devastated Steve has to testify. Certainly Andrea has been subpoenaed, wouldn't you think? Or perhaps they are there because Kate's attorney wanted to talk to them. I do not get why these two women would show up and help Kate bake. If Kate thinks the kids' teachers want those sweets, she has no idea what teachers really need as gifts. Once again, if they did indeed help her bake, it's all about Kate being a user.
Jamie made money off TLC and Andrea was Kate's employee and made money off TLC. How sad. They are not her buddies.
Sad but true (#46), if any part of the show is used against TFW, I bet the immediate response would be to throw TLC under the bus. It's just a show! We're supposed to create drama! It's NOTHING like real life!
Last night I commented on the Mother's Day episode, and I left out the silliest part: of course it wasn't really filmed on Mother's Day! So these 8 kids (who were quite small at the time) were celebrating a holiday before it even happened. What happened on the real Mother's Day? Or the real Christmas, after their phony TV celebration? What were the children told?
Of course none of that is of tremendous importance. But it's part of the fabric of their childhoods: lies and deception.
Going on Dr. Oz was simply deflecting and spinning any bad publicity. When it was taped, I believe she and Jon were into some heavy legal proceedings. My sense is starting with the People cover and the NY interviews, TLC was behind those interviews. The season had not aired yet so they had no idea what the ratings would be but they assumed the usual one million. Now that the show is tanking, and it continues to tank, I don't see TLC promoting her side of the legal fight any longer. If Jon prevails, as a business decision, they must cut her loose and that is what is freaking her out. It's obvious what her long game has been ... film forever. Hell, she divorced Jon so the filming could continue.
So, Kate won't tell Jon where Collin is because she doesn't trust he'll honor his privacy, but she splashes the news on the cover of People magazine. Got it. Again, how is she not in jail for violating court ordered visitation?

I bet the children's teachers would like to tell her where to stick her sticky buns. As someone suggested above, a gift certificate for dinner out would be a more appropriate 'thank you'.

I bet Kate still gives those kids plenty of "ouchies". Cannot believe she is even still using that term. Isn't Jon the one who discovered welts on one of the tup girls when he was giving her a bath after the divorce and reported it in a court document?
local, I agree those two may be character witnesses, but then it leaves an opening for Jon's attorney to question them. As far as I am concerned, they have an incentive to portray Kate in the best light because they have received income from Kate and TLC. If Jon can get some of the other nannies to testify, it will be a slam dunk. Kate has made many enemies. And what about the Figure 8 crew? Bet they witnessed plenty.
Andrea AND especially Jamie in town at Christmas helping her make the stink buns? What a joke. Why would Jamie travel at Christmas and be away from her kids and family to come and help her bake buns?
They have got the be testifying. If Jon's attorney subpoenas Jamie, Andrea or whoever, they have to show up and testify in court or they will be in contempt of court and go to jail.
Jamie and Andrea have made a dump truck load of money from her and is TFW thinking, they won't betray me.
Uh, yes, they will. In a heartbeat. They are not going to jail for you, precious snowflake cinnamon bun.

Look how worn down Jon looked.
Look how worn down Collin looked.
Look how worn down Cara looks.
Look how worn down Alexis looked last couch interview.
@TLC stinks Don't forget Deanna, although notice how Kate said that Jamie and Andrea are there and not Deanna.Funny how Kate said she's like an aunt to her kids and yet she seems to not be there as often as she claimed she is.For someone who claims to talk to the kids daily she sure isn't there when Kate needs Jamie and Andrea to help with baking Christmas goods.

She is a self-absorbed, righteous assh*@e. She contradicts herself, is yapping her nasty mouth on every talk show that will have her.
Truth be told, she is making herself look really bad; the more she talks, the nastier she sounds. I really think she is "losing it," but this time, she may have gone too far. She can't control DYFS, the Court, or any witnesses that Jon may choose to bring to Court. And I don't feel one bit sorry for her.

The "ouchies" remark pretty much confirms what I've suspected -- that when those kids come home for a fun time with Dad, they have to keep it on the down low, so as not to upset Mom. Can you see why some have decided to just stay home and avoid the drama?
TFW tried to make herself sound brave and stoic with that comment. But it made her sound like an inconsiderate, selfish ass. It's all about her. Always was, always will be.
OT: Survivor just finished their 33rd edition! The finale episode was on Wednesday. This was one of the best seasons ever, with interesting people with interesting personal stories. The most fascinating stories involved people who had personal growth and people making connections with others who were very different. Two of the final four started out being afraid of everything, and ended up being self confident and self sufficient. They surprised themselves! Jeff Probst at the end of the show sincerely thanked the live audience and all the viewers. Why do so many keep watching Survivor? It is edited from many, many hours of film to tell a story, a story where real people grow and change. I didn't really care who won at the end, because the personal stories were so fascinating. Any reality show like TFMJG and company is going to be soooo boring after a while, especially because the main character TFMJG has not shown ANY personal growth. She is same old, same old, boring, and worth the yelling, still as annoying. That's my armchair analysis.
Kate Gosselin Opens Up About How Fake Headlines Affect Her Mental Health
Mike Pont/NBC
Kate Gosselin has had enough. The mom of eight appears on The Dr. Oz Show Thursday and opens up about how fake tabloid headlines have not only taken a toll on her mental health but also her physical well-being. I'm a very visual person, so your emotional and psychological energy, like, I do actually, picture it as like a barrel of energy, this stuff just eats—it drags you down," she tells the host Dr. Mehmet Oz.
********
Seriously!?! Your children have had enough, Jon has had enough, your family has had enough, the whole whole has had enough of your BS!
99 percent of the tabloid covers, the paparazzi, al of the mess could have been avoided by YOU, but YOU wouldn't allow it. YOU had to keep the fame whore image going when it was good or bad to stay relevant on tv.
Your children have suffered tremendously and I hope it is still not to late to save them for being basket cases before it it over all over with.
I watched a couple Dr. Oz clips, which just show Kate yammering on about how hard being on tv is and how upset she is that the kids are dragged through the tabloids. It just makes me want to pull my hair out! Get the frick out of the spotlight. OMG, how hard is this? She actually expects to be pitied. Poor Kate, with her hard life. Funny how she prattles on about how hard it is being a single mom or dad, yet her goal in life is to destroy Jon and his relationship with his kids. And does court-ordered visitation have a "my kids choose not to go, oh well" clause?
Look how worn down Alexis looked last couch interview.
It's Kate's way at any cost. ****** Some of the kids do look very worn down. Cara looks like she's sitting on that couch and saying zip just to say f-u Mommy!
Truth be told, she is making herself look really bad; the more she talks, the nastier she sounds. I really think she is "losing it," but this time, she may have gone too far. **** Kate's anger at anyone using her kids for money or headlines is as bad as ever. Only Kate is allowed to splash her kids in the headlines, put her twins out there to trash their father and peddle her "Old Daddy, New Daddy" baloney. That one I find particularly repugnant. And I don't believe for a moment that IF the kids said it "years ago" it wasn't prompted by Kate.
FlimsyFlamsy said... 71 The "ouchies" remark pretty much confirms what I've suspected -- that when those kids come home for a fun time with Dad, they have to keep it on the down low, so as not to upset Mom. Can you see why some have decided to just stay home and avoid the drama? ***** YES! I think Kate gets offended if they say they love Jon and spending time with him. I think she finds it treacherous and disloyal.
How can Jon possibly be there for ALL his kids when she lets THEM decide if they'll visit him or not? Or hide a child like Collin? Or not allow them to visit on holidays? Or throw away gifts from Jon? SHE has poisoned some but thank goodness a few see through her crap. What a lying pity party on Oz! It's sad to grow up with a mother who is disturbed and so hateful.
The gaslighting of Kate Gosselin knows no bounds. She says we shouldn't believe the tabloid image of her and she could do talk shows every day and we still are all wrong. That's right. Kate is right and all of us are wrong. Forget what we've seen with our own eyes. Forget all the horrible behavior. Forger her own journal. Forget that she runs the bus over Jon and backs up over his corpse with glee. Forget that she praises her daughters for trashing their father. Just believe Kate. Whatever she says.
The guy who plows Kate's driveway is not rich like her. Nor the laundry girl, cleaning team, morning nanny, pet groomer, whoever else she gives those sweets to. Give them cash. Real cash. With a thank you. They deserve it for putting up with your crap. For the teachers go with Staples gift cards (or maybe Michaels).
The attending kids events thing. Let's say Mady was in the school musical. Does she really take the other kids and show up? I thought it always caused a scene and they couldn't go out. It would be wonderful if she would actually go to things. They must have had elementary art shows and book fairs and field day and other stuff. Parent/teacher night could actually be easier if all the tups are in the same classroom. She lies so much.
The worst part is she can't tell Jon where Colin is because of safety. Nope. He is the father and is entitled to that info. It doesn't matter if you think he'll buy a billboard. Unless the court takes all his parental rights away, you have to tell him. You get picked on Kate because you are a bad mother and bad person by doing this.
Isn't it great that Kate has friends over, is ensconced in her kitchen baking and enjoying the holidays while Collin hasn't slept in his own bed for 6 months, has never met his new puppies and probably hasn't seen his brothers and sisters since he was removed. It's just so sad. But there's Kate, boohooing on tv again about how hard SHE has it. It's so twisted, I would never believe it if I didn't see if for myself.
What a lying pity party on Oz! It's sad to grow up with a mother who is disturbed and so hateful. ***** I recorded Dr. Oz (a one-off-can't stomach him) but can't get myself to watch. Did he say anything about Kate's admission that she refuses to tell Jon where his own son is? How can you not sit up and say, "WTF, woman? You send your son away and don't even tell his father, let alone involve him?"
Jeanne said... 81 The guy who plows Kate's driveway is not rich like her. Nor the laundry girl, cleaning team, morning nanny, pet groomer, whoever else she gives those sweets to. Give them cash. Real cash. With a thank you. They deserve it for putting up with your crap. For the teachers go with Staples gift cards (or maybe Michaels). ****** So true. Teachers need gift cards. How many found their way into Kate's mailbox over the years? Give McDonald's GC's, Give GC's to Office Depot, Give your stylist and groomer a double tip....
****** Exactly. It tends to make me think Collin was taken and placed AWAY FROM KATE. Now that she doesn't want making it into the tabloids. Again, how anyone supports her after knowing these horrific facts is beyond me.
The worst part is she can't tell Jon where Colin is because of safety. Nope. He is the father and is entitled to that info. ***** I'm also now fairly certain that Collin's brothers and sisters have no idea where he is, and do not see him. There's be no way to keep it from Jon if the other kids knew. How much you wanna bet that Collin will not see the inside of his home this Christmas? How much does it make you want to cry for that poor boy?
Kate doublespeak always confuses me. By referring to Collin's "safety", is she referring to her accusation that Jon abused Collin or that Jon would reveal to the tabloids Collin's location? I feel confident the judge forced her to tell Jon where his son is by now. I just cannot imagination any justification for withholding that information from him. There is no way a judge ordered Kate to keep Collin from his dad when four of the tups visit him on a pretty regular basis. And that is without supervision so he's obviously not a threat. Oddly (or not) Alexis does not see Jon either so she may have anger issues like Collin. The twins are just lazy and Kate let's them do want they want in return for cooperation in filming. It's pretty clear (to me) she's been covering up issues with Collin and Alexis from Jon just to keep the cameras rolling. She knows Jon is a pushover and has limited resources, so that's my theory of this mess. However, I don't think she envisioned Jon getting as worked up about Collin as he has. I agree with Jon's attorney that there is much more to this story. Kate plays it like she is a protective mother but it's always been the opposite. A true protective mother would stop filming and concentrate on the kids.
WTF is this person talking about? From Instagram "nick_moy @maryannie884 yes the trio is indeed very talented and am sure a lot of hard work and sweat was put into making these look so well presented. Unlike the numerous idiots that knows nothing but bitch and complain.. To me these people have the diarrhea of the mouth and can't hold anything back and only crap comes out".Who is he referring to?
elsa magl @elsamagl 28m28 minutes ago @Kateplusmy8 I love to see Collin too on the show. ^^^ Ugh these sheeple! Collin's situation, whatever it is, is SO bad that he's been sent away for at least 6 months now. Do you think coming home to cameras in his face, booms over his head and being splashed on the covers of EVEN MORE tabloids is going to be good for him? Do these people even realize how selfish they are, expecting and demanding to see minor children live their lives on camera? When and IF Collin comes home, I hope his mother somehow manages to give him the privacy he needs and deserves, and never is made to appear on a reality tv show again.
Interesting video on TLC's website about the rafting - wasn't part of the show. The boys say that Kate is afraid of white water rafting and Aiden says that's because she is afraid of life. Out of the mouth of babes.., and this is just my opinion but I think it's nice that Kate (or her helpers) bake those gifts. Yes, she's a millionaire and could afford to give more, but a gift is still a gift. She doesn't have to give anything. This season focuses too much on give me, give me - I'm sick of Christmas before it's here. And Joy in Virginia, I couldn't agree more. Survivor is still riveting after 33 seasons because it changes every year.
Jamezvader1194 (#89), I think he's talking about TFW, Andrea and Jamie and their mad baking skillz. Notice how TFW waits until her kids are home to do chores, when she has all day while they're away to get them done.
Is C going to get any of the homebaked Christmas goodies? Are his siblings allowed to even write to him wherever he is? Or is he completely cut off from his family?
Tucker's Mom (#89), if TLC doesn't pull the plug now, I'm afraid we'll be treated to a "C's Back!" episode when he returns from the facility. Doctors advice be damned, TFW is in charge, and that's never gonna change. Would any of us put that past her?
I have ZERO doubt that Kate will use Collin's return for ratings and magazines IF she can. I pray that Jon can intervene and stop her in time. Also, I hope Jon gets Collin, period. 6 months is just too long to be sent away. Too long. Unless Collin is dangerous, he needs to be home.
What sort of Christmas is Collin in for, as his siblings are home unwrapping all sorts of big, costly gifts? What is he allowed to have in the institution?
The only person who enjoys gift cards is Kate. She can afford more than baking her sticky buns. One thing I don't need this time of year are extra sweets in the house. If she wants to bake, drop off those sweets at a homeless shelter or battered women's home and give gift cards or tip the folks who do work for her. She can afford it.
tip the folks who do work for her. She can afford it. ****** Agree. Unless you have kids or plenty of neighbors to share those sticky buns, they are going to wind up in the trash. Baking is lovely for people who can't afford doubling tips and giving GC's, but Kate is loaded. Plus, it's all about bragging for her and the glory she gets from her sheep who tell her how amazing she is for baking so much.
So, Kate won't tell Jon where Collin is because she doesn't trust he'll honor his privacy, but she splashes the news on the cover of People magazine. Got it. Again, how is she not in jail for violating court ordered visitation?
&&&&
The tabloids already given all the clues to out where he is without Jon's help. They left a trail of breadcrumbs a first grader could follow. Whether you agree they should have done that or not, what's the reason she can't tell Jon now, now that it's out?
JakieK (#93), it hurts my heart to think of that sweet boy being away from his family. So eager to help to win his mother's love, yet somehow he failed. What must his self esteem be like now? I do hope he's being helped by kind and caring professionals.
Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said... 96 . . . Whether you agree they should have done that or not, what's the reason she can't tell Jon now, now that it's out? ____
Because she is a horse's ass of gargantuan proportions? I hope by now all of that is in the past, that Jon knows all the details and he's making arrangements to see his son, and that she's in her master bath vomiting all day long from sheer panic. Now THAT would be a panic attack. I'm sure I've never despised a TV person as much as I do her.
If Jon gets the kids Christmas Eve or Christmas day (which I'm sure hoping he does), TFW will probably tweet some picture to make it look like they were with her the whole time. She's a master of deception.
@FlimsyFlamsy If she does upload a picture and Collin is not in it.I'm going to be 100% certain that Collin is not allow to go home to her.Hopefully he'll be at Jon's.
I think it's pretty well established now that gift cards or cash is usually what one should give people like teachers or hired help. Many suggest one week's pay tip for housekeepers, or $50 or so, somewhere around there. Cookies usually are a nice gesture but so many people can't eat them due to dietary restrictions, health issues, and they're not that expensive to make. It's not really that resounding of a thank you to give someone 4 bucks worth of cookies. Combined with a gift card or something else of value is nicer, or leave them out all together.
What sort of Christmas is Collin in for, as his siblings are home unwrapping all sorts of big, costly gifts? What is he allowed to have in the institution?
=======
Is it known that he won't be home for Christmas, or with Jon? Did Kate mention this?
Kate Gosselin @Kateplusmy8 @angelanprimm I can tell you: our show IS REALITY. It’s our real life that we r actively living. No redos or ‘lines’ no matter what u read! 8:56 PM - 22 Dec 2015
Umm, what about those couch interviews you were doing mid-November for a show that was filmed in July? You're not claiming those were not re-dos, are you? Lies, lies, lies. Jon had it right.
Is it known that he won't be home for Christmas, or with Jon? Did Kate mention this? ____ Kate wouldn't mention it, oh no, she's a gag-order honorer. And Jon hasn't spoken out in weeks.
Kate gives baked goods because she is CHEAP. she's cheap with everyone except herself. Teachers don't want baked goods.
I don't see how Collin would go home for the holiday, since he is only 'plodding along' in his care, and obviously mommy dearest hasn't involved herself with his treatment or therapy for her in how to HELP him. She doesn't give a damn about those kids. Never has. They are a means to an extravagant lifestyle for HER. It's about her. It's always been about her. She uses people and then discards them like day old trash. Everything is disposable.
I'm sure Jamie and Andrea are there due to the legal issues.
I hope Collin is able to see Jon as often as he is allowed! I hope Collin never returns to the compound, as I believe whatever is happening in that hellhole is what is affecting him today. Why return a child who is 'plodding along' in his emotional health back to what made him sick?
This recent post on IG will be falling on deaf ears:
XXXXX You should be making stuff for our local shelters... Do you have any idea how much they need help? The Opportunity House is just one Kate, and there's others in Reading!
Plus, it's all about bragging for her and the glory she gets from her sheep who tell her how amazing she is for baking so much.
---------------------
Speaking of sheep, any word from Gladys? I wonder if she has been told that the ratings have dropped miserably, or if they are keeping that a secret from her, like during her last surgery when she was advised that telling her about the show's cancellation would set her recovery back. Wasn't Iwana involved in that? I forget how that all went down.
"Our show IS REALITY. It’s our real life that we r actively living." Yes, like when you had your children smile into a camera and recite, "This week on J&K+8," episode after episode. What kid hasn't had that experience?
But deeper than that...it's only the "real life" of a family who is on TLC's payroll. In reality, a single mom with 8 kids and no steady job is NOT taking 4 vacations per year -- or per decade, for that matter.
You know what's really nice? Appreciating that someone gave you a gift, regardless of it's monetary value, and not snubbing your nose at it because it's not "resounding" enough for you.
&&&
I said nothing about the recipient and how they should behave. Of course the recipient should be appreciative of an appropriate gift, a cheapskate gift, or no gift and all and just a "happy holidays" well wish. It doesn't take away from the fact that if you can afford the hired help, you can afford the customary and appropriate Christmas tip and are a freaking cheapskate if you don't.
@Sheepless in Seattle Yes i was discussing Milo recent surgery and a part of me has this crazy belief that she made it up,its odd how she didn't give Kate any hints on it to get sympathy like she use to.My thing is,how would a show getting cancelled effect someone's health? Is milo that unstable that Kate's show getting cancelled would make her more ill or some how kill her?
Being appreciative and referring to a gift as a "cheapskate gift" are mutually exclusive. I don't think you understand what it means to be appreciative. Saying thank you when you're thinking "man, what a shitty gift" is not being appreciative.
&&&&
I disagree. One can be aware of what is customary, recommended, and appropriate, while still being appreciative and polite about whatever they receive or don't receive this Christmas.
There may be reasons someone has to skimp on a gift some years, it might be a tough year, so I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt. I don't think that's Kate, though. She has consistently cheaped out on those who bend over backwards to make her life easier.
One can be appreciative of a gesture while still throwing cookies in the trash because they are diabetic and don't want the temptation.
They don't. I'm sorry, they don't. Look on the internet--over and over teachers say I appreciate it, but no thank you. There is nothing impolite about spreading some awareness about this. They are the backbone of our society, and the least we can do is listen to their preferences. Times have changed, and we are much more aware of dietary restrictions and our health. Cookies are always going to be a part of Christmas, but if it's the only thing you are giving people who make your life run like clockwork, you need to catch up with how things are done in 2016.
Here's what teacher Heather Sweeney says about gift cards: "Do go for gift cards. Some people think gift cards are impersonal. I’m not one of those people. This is one easy button you should definitely push. A local book store, Amazon, Starbucks, Wal Mart, Target or a craft store like Michael’s to offset the cost of school supplies teachers buy out of their own pockets. It’s perfectly acceptable to slip it into a card (preferably one of those adorable kid-made cards), but if you feel the need for fancier presentation, you can do what one parent did for me and stick it in the card holder of a poinsettia. Two gifts in one!"
Heather's actually fine with baked goods too but admits many teachers aren't. But she makes a great point, they can use the gift cards to help buy things for the classroom.
The worst part is she can't tell Jon where Colin is because of safety. Nope. He is the father and is entitled to that info.
&&&&
Not only that but what proof does she have that Jon reveals private information to the tabloids? Meanwhile there is plenty of proof that she releases private info to the press all the time, straight out of her mouth.
What's more, if Jon is revealing private info to the press, she can easily bring this to the attention of the court and have them handle him. They have the power to throw a parent in jail for violating court orders. NEVER giving him information is not the only solution to this alleged problem, and it's a solution she has no right to do.
Kate's anger at anyone using her kids for money or headlines is as bad as ever. Only Kate is allowed to splash her kids in the headlines
&&&&
This is nuts! If she never spoke to the press about personal stuff that's one thing.
What's fascinating is she goes to the press on a regular basis to talk about increasingly private information about the family. She uses the TV show too to reveal info. But then throws a fit about their father doing the same (even though he doesn't)?
Why can't she reveal what she wants, and he can reveal what he wants? They are each the parents. Why is it just her who is in charge of what is revealed? How does she differentiate this in her head? Has she terminated his parental rights in her head? Does she understand the courts have done no such thing?
102 likes jongosselin1Friday at Newtown Clubhouse Bar and Grill I'll be spinning the wheels of steel starting at 9pm!!! UGLY Sweater Party come check it out!!! Great times with Great people and music!
There is a picture of Jon in a pretty ugly sweater.
ryanthebeast230Your ex is the worst human being on the planet that has ever existed!!!!! Had to say.
Is milo that unstable that Kate's show getting cancelled would make her more ill or some how kill her?
Yes. Absolutely.
If there were no comment or hype, or accolades and passion directed to Kate during the recent episode, then something is up. Milo couldn't contain her excitement in promoting the puppies show, or commenting about Kate's affection or devotion to her new babies. She just couldn't.
The last time TFW claimed to be worried about her kids' safety, she sued Jon, and then high-tailed it out of town with her bodyguard: leaving those children with a babysitter. So her safety fears shouldn't hold much water.
Kate Gosselin @Kateplusmy8 @angelanprimm I can tell you: our show IS REALITY. It’s our real life that we r actively living. No redos or ‘lines’ no matter what u read! ======== If this is true then why do we oftentimes see the kids with clapperboards during the couch interviews showing what "take" it is? It's not always always "take 1".
Why can't she reveal what she wants, and he can reveal what he wants? ____
What she wants would be considered by all sane people to be beyond the pale. Her mouth says, Oh I would never stand in the way of my kids' relationship with their father, but her expression and her eyes say something entirely different, as does her actual behavior. Jon will never be forgiven for not doing what she wanted. It's totally beyond reason, but she just cannot get over it. And so she's tried everything in her power to marginalize him. That he's not slinking away, defeated and powerless, is just winding her up tighter. With somewhat less emotional investment, we've seen her do this over and over to anyone in her life who doesn't do it her way. Collin, whatever his actual "issues" might be, is IMO the latest victim of this compulsion she has to always get her own way. Somehow, in a family of five kids, this one never learned to share or compromise. It's a sickness, truly, and it's very sad that no one who's been close to her has been able to convince her to get help.
If Jamie's there propping her up instead of telling it to her straight, well then that's not what I'd call a true friend. I imagine her paranoia at this point must be through the roof. I also think that part of her problem is that she's not been able to bend Steve to her will and her needs, and that must just add tremendously to her frustration. Whatever his feelings for her (and I think he's led her on quite a bit, to his own advantage), I believe she's had a major thing for him for a long time, and it must eat away at her that he won't leave his wife/life to come and play house with her and make chaotic fun episodes til the end of time. He's well aware of the crazy and, against all odds, too smart to let it ruin his life.
What is mutually exclusive is the thanks of the gift recipient and *us* saying Kate is a cheapskate. She's not giving me a gift so I don't have to be grateful.
I finally looked at IG. Kate says they have 31 packages of sweets and they're no where near done. How many servants does Kate have?!?! They're not for family. Does she drive to the school with those or make the kids carry a bunch of them on the bus? Say 15 for school for teachers, 20 if you include the secretaries and principal. Laundry, cook, 2-3 maids, driveway plow guy?, dog groomer. Who else? All the crew daddies and all the nannies for the year? I can't figure out who she gives them to.
What is mutually exclusive is the thanks of the gift recipient and *us* saying Kate is a cheapskate. She's not giving me a gift so I don't have to be grateful.
%%%%
Ha, exactly! I don't have to feel gratitude for the pathetic attempt that millionaire made to tip her hired help for Christmas. I'm not one of the hired help getting tipped.
I am reading so many comments that they think the filming may be over for Kate. I would love that but we all have thought this many times and she is still on our screens.
Collin has to come home soon one way or another. If it is actually a boarding school he is attending Collin will have times off for holidays and summers to film.
If he is in a medical facility then the insurance will run out and/or Kate will soon tire of forking out the huge bucks it is costing her. Or hopefully he will have made great strides and be better and released.
Regardless, Collin will be coming home soon in the near future. So I think filming will continue. I think Collin will partake and if in a scene he acts out they will just remove him. In a recent episode, Collin was at the dining table and was fighting with Alexis's arm and then the next scene the entire family is in the kitchen but he was missing. I think they literally removed him for filming.
I really hope the low ratings and Collin's situation will give TLC/Discovery huge consideration to stop filming. It is just that we have thought this so many times and Kate just seems to continue to get her way.
Or maybe they will stop filming for a few years and then she will return with graduations, dating, weddings, grandkids, etc. My guts feels like this woman is never getting off TV. And if TLC won't have she will probably get on a less known TV station. She is addicted to it.
She seems not to be swiffering her IG much these days. I guess it's a full-time job stemming the tide. Posted on the sticky bun photo:
XXXXX Kate, on Dr. Oz you said there wouldn't be a Kate Gosselin without your kids. The truer statement is there wouldn't be a Kate Gosselin without a Jon Gosselin. He gave you both your name, rather HIS name and your children. So without HIM you are only Kate Irene Kreider . You also always say that you would go to the ends of the world to give them the best. That is great depending on what you consider "best"is. What are you teaching them "best" is? You always say work hard and you can have the best but do you teach them by word, deed, and example that God says 19Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.… Do you teach them that when mom's mess up you say whooo, I messed up, GOD FORGIVE ME AND HELP ME DO BETTER TOMORROW? Do you teach them God's love and forgiveness and that the greatest gift is love? Because they sure talk about how much they don't like each other. Do you teach them that "from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh". Had you made those teachings the priority it more than likely kept Collin home. EVALUATE KATE because THAT is what you will be held accountable for. Not what earthly things you and TLC could give them.
Jeanne (#122), I wonder if the kids will be talked into staying away from Dad's house this weekend so they can help her finish baking? Or will she just sigh, cross her arms, scowl, roll her eyes, and slam the door behind them when they leave, and bravely endure the "ouchies" alone?
In all seriousness, that Dr. Oz stuff was so incredibly revealing of her dark side, and she's not smart enough to know she's put it out there. I bet she feels proud that she wasn't too dolled up, so she could trick people into thinking she just swung by to tape the show in between panic attacks.
What she wants would be considered by all sane people to be beyond the pale. Her mouth says, Oh I would never stand in the way of my kids' relationship with their father, but her expression and her eyes say something entirely different, as does her actual behavior ****** Kate plants the seed and nurtures it, but when that weed grows and strangles the life of the good plants, Kate says, "Who, me? I didn't make the weeds do that!" Just the fact that people think it's ok to just let their kids choose not to see their father for weeks, months and years is nutso. That's when you want to scream at the tv, 'It's ILLEGAL!!!!"

This is a personality disorder. Sociopaths, narcissists and psychopaths cannot be helped. It's everyone in contact with them that need counseling and hopefully can recover. She never learned because she is incapable
Collin, whatever his actual "issues" might be, is IMO the latest victim of this compulsion she has to always get her own way. ***** The longer Collin is away, with no sign that he's coming home or even seeing his family, the more I tend to believe this.
I feel gratitude that I'm not one of TFW's helpers. Because I have a feeling some recipient is bound to get a mouthful of zucchini bread with a french tip or a blonde extension in it.
Ha, exactly! I don't have to feel gratitude for the pathetic attempt that millionaire made to tip her hired help for Christmas. I'm not one of the hired help getting tipped. ***** When you give gifts for the Holidays, you really need to think from the recipient's POV. What would THEY want most? I know Kate would say that EVERYONE begs her to make her cinnamon buns and there would be wailing if she disappointed them. That's bull. Even if those buns are delicious, people want cold, hard cash that THEY can choose what to do with. That's what you give, if you can, that makes people most happy and actually HELPS them. But, Kate is incapable of seeing things from other people's POV. If it makes her feel good, important, relevant and of course, she can brag about it, then that's what she's doing.
I love to cook and bake but would never hand my hair dresser or groomer over a plate of cookies in lieu of he customary double tip. Even if you can't double tip, just throw more than usual in. That's a very nice gift. DH and I will be baking through the day-finally getting around to it this year. I give away quite a bit but am aware not to assume that people want to, or can, indulge a lot.
Be careful if you're getting icing today! Temps should be warming up and roads should get better, but right now, it's really dangerous to drive.
And the way she flagrantly disregards the custody agreement is even more frustrating when we've seen what kind of a sweet, hands-on daddy Jon was to his kids. Remember him talking about how quickly his daughters went through shampoo and conditioner? That's because HE was the one bathing 8 kids -- after coming home from a long day at work. He was the reason when someone asked J his name, the child beamed and said, "I'm Daddy's son!" He was the one who drove through Dunkin' Donuts to get his little boy a treat for no reason at all. He was the one who'd have a child's arm affectionately wrapped around his leg, or was down at their level to talk to them like human beings and not cattle (or, more appropriately, chattel).
I agree with all prior comments but would like to add that this time, she is not in charge of the outcome of this case and the fact that these allegations are very serious. Collin has spoken out to his counselors about TFW and she can't deny what she has done to Collin. Nor any of the other kids. She has no say over him anymore, but rather the Courts and Social Services do.
The fact that she has to have a Psych Eval done speaks volumes and she doesn't like to be told what to do. Plus I think she is terrified of what the Psych Eval says about her, as well as her "parenting" with Jon. She has no control over what the Court decides, and there are so many skeletons in her closet that insiders can testify to, she know the mask is coming off. I think that terrifies her.
"Why can't she reveal what she wants, and he can reveal what he wants? They are each the parents. Why is it just her who is in charge of what is revealed? "
Because she can't go around selling their lives if their father gives it away for free? She is not about to let anyone steal her thunder.
I am reading so many comments that they think the filming may be over for Kate. I would love that but we all have thought this many times and she is still on our screens.

I know, I know. But there's a couple huge differences this time that I think are important. One is that the ratings really are taking an absolute nose dive straight to the bottom of the barrel. Two, even more glaringly, is the lack of support this time from TLC. She's not part of any major ad campaigns like the other shows are, she was pushed back for months and months then given a crappy time slot surrounded by shows wildly more popular than hers, she seems to be on her own to scrounge up a mini media tour, and I doubt TLC is paying for lawyers or PR people for her. Back in the good ole days TLC was the king's hand to her (Game of Thrones reference). Now, they just don't seem to be interested anymore. And, quite frankly, the public is onto her like never before. The gig is up.
Now, whether this will stop her, who knows. I think so. The world has never been more against her.
Because she can't go around selling their lives if their father gives it away for free? She is not about to let anyone steal her thunder.
&&&&
Ha. Is that anything like why have the cow when you can get the milk for free?
She is an extreme control freak, even with information that belongs to multiple people. The information doesn't belong just to YOU, TFW. If other people are entitled to the same information, they can say what they like absent a court order.
She's going to throw a fit when the kids get old enough to call up the press and say what they want to say. How dare they reveal things without her blessing.
Gift cards are great but cash is better! Cash can be spent anywhere, whereas a Walmart gift card limits your spending to its store and Sam's.
I'd like to read her journal entry she would have written if TLC had given her a plate of cookies instead of her 'usual' gift cards to Ann Taylor, Costco or Gymboree. Lordy Bee! Lol
Ha, exactly! I don't have to feel gratitude for the pathetic attempt that millionaire made to tip her hired help for Christmas. I'm not one of the hired help getting tipped. +

She's too lazy to keep up with it. She was Johnny on the spot in the beginning. It just shows how lazy she is that even though you know she doesn't want any of these comments to stand, she just doesn't have enough "umph" to get it together and swifter regularly, or figure out how to get someone to do it for her.
I bet she does justify the 2-buck cookie tray because people thank her, rave about them and ask for them. Yes Kate, people are polite.
She's so obtuse when she says and thinks stuff like that. She is one dimensional, unable to see nuisance or see through politeness. Just because people are polite, grateful, and show some very kind enthusiasm for you and what you do, doesn't make it right. Nice people generally make the best of things, even if they deserve much, much more.
Good God, it's no wonder why people leave her all the time- she wears you down to the point that you shut down.
&&&&

She is tenacious, I'll give you that. Narcissists often are. Look at politics. Look at all the narcissistic politicians who just kept going and going and going even when everything around them is falling apart.
Weiner is really something to watch. It's on HBO. Talk about a narcissist who won't quit until he's brought the whole world down, even a very strong candidate who probably was slated to win otherwise.
Last year her ratings at first tanked but then they went up, so I hope this plays out to the bitter end in January 2017. I believe Jon has stepped up because of the extreme proof of what has been done to Collin and his fear she will put him back on TV. Why TLC allowed this season to air is beyond disgusting. They delayed the season several times instead of just cancelling everything. She gets paid regardless but it's all about recuperating her salary with advertising dollars. They are not a decent cable network.
Why TLC allowed this season to air is beyond disgusting. They delayed the season several times instead of just canceling everything
&&&&
You have to wonder what went on in those meetings. Why the delay? I don't think they actually had a moral compass and questioned whether they really should air this drivel. But I do think it's entirely possible they questioned how it would LOOK if they aired this drivel. They may have been intentionally waiting for Kate to do something like the People article, to soften the blow and give the public time to absorb the news and "move on" from it, and if there were any fallout laying the blame on People and Kate. I think their delay of this show was very calculated and there may very well have been some disagreement among execs about what the right play was. Hence the various incorrect start dates.
I've been catching up on Little People Big World, I think there's about four or five of them to watch. They're also divorced, or getting divorced, whatever it is. Because they have all these businesses together they've decided to continue to live on the farm together, in completely separate houses.
I think there's a lot about their relationship that's dysfunctional. Living on the same property and continuing to be business partners might ultimately end up being too much emotionally for either of them. But one thing that is very apparent among the two of them is even though they are not IN love with each other, they still respect and love each other as people and as their children's parent. They are usually very kind to each other, and when Matt had surgery on his neck, Amy was very worried for him and very helpful when he came home to recover while still maintaining appropriate "divorced" boundaries, like having a family friend and one of their kids go with him to the surgery instead of her.
I don't know if the plan to live on the property will work out in the end but I do see a couple that will be able to go on successfully together as friends and co-parents. The difference is that even though they are no longer IN love, they respect the time they were in love and they respect what they have made together--the business and the family.
Not every divorce has to be the way Kate made it. She does not respect what she DID have with Jon, nor what they made together. She spits on it.
A real-life cookie story that happened to me 10 minutes ago!
I just came back from Starbucks, where a woman had walked in (who I assume was a regular) and asked each barista if they'd gotten any of the cookies she brought last night. "Didja get a cookie, Stefan?" "Those cookies in the back in the red thing -- those were from me!" "Did you get one? They were from me!" Each barista politely said, "Oh, yes, thanks!" But, for heaven's sake, it's Starbucks -- they're surrounded by baked goods! So I think that was a case of the person not really putting a lot of thought into the recipients' needs. But she was being kind, and trying to acknowledge their service.
Now, whether this will stop her, who knows. I think so. The world has never been more against her.
----------------------
I'm not so sure if it's all because the world is against her, or if it's because the world just does't care. She's old stuff, she's boring. Time to get on to the new (whatever that may be) and move on.

Oh dear. Sounds like her heart's in the right place. I think it's a little much to tip your Starbucks folks, so at least that is nice! But yeah, just so you know they probably get all the broken cookies they want. Anyone who has worked in food service knows free food is usually aplenty--the defected stuff or the leftovers. Restaurants throw out a mind-blowing amount of food, offering it up to the employees first. I ate so much sun dried tomato pasta and alfredo sauce at this place I worked at in high school I still feel sick from it.
There's another reason it may be best to avoid baked goods and go for cash--one bad egg in them, one time forgetting to wash your hands, and you could put yourself on the hook for making multiple people sick.
Admin (#137), TFW is 2 years away from the twins possibly leaving home and spilling everything to everyone everywhere. She may be well aware of that power, and that could be why they have so much leverage in that household.
@Admin (136) If these ratings continue to tank but some strange reason TLC keeps her then i've said this before but does TLC know something about Kate that we don't?Would that prove we were wrong about her and that she really is a mother trying her best?It just wouldn't make sense because it would make it seem like TLC doesn't care about ratings.Unless TLC will blame Collin and think that if he comes back ratings will go up but then again would it be worth it?
Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said... 140 Why TLC allowed this season to air is beyond disgusting. They delayed the season several times instead of just canceling everything ____
I think this really comes down to, they didn't have many options. They'd already aired TWO complete seasons of Duggars b/t March and November 2016. And they were down a Little Couple. I think the majority of their new shows are not doing well. No matter their assessment of Kate's PR problem, I think they had little choice about airing the 8 episodes that were "almost" (except for the new, perception-tweaking couch interviews) in the can. Their line-up has no staying power, it's like they're just throwing more and more outlandish concepts up against the wall and praying they will stick---which they're not.
I do not believe Kate will get another season after this, and I think they've told her so. What was supposed to be her big, triumphant "OMG, it's been 10 YEARS!" moment (even if it was really only 7.5, lol) got totally buried by the fallout from the way she's treated the father of her kids AND Collin. TLC tossed her away with little fanfare 5 years ago (although they did give her an exit episode, which I doubt they'll do this time). I think they may have been more courteous this time around, but I don't think she's coming back in 2017. And I think a good many TLC executives won't be coming back in 2017 either.
When all else fails, ya trot out yer #NookiePookie.
kateplusmy8 Excuse me, but where is MY coffee? There's snow outside, our Christmas break has started, everyone is lounging...so I think it's time I get to try some coffee! 😂 #Nanuq #ThinksShesAHuman

Apathy is a celebrity's worst enemy. You're right, her relevance is questionable.
Although, I do think it's fair to say people really did perk up over this Collin thing. People found it very offensive. If they've been apathetic about everything else, that sure got their attention.

Sad but true (#153), yes, notice she says, "everyone is lounging," but she doesn't say where! Could be on Dad's couch! Or perhaps they're eating breakfast with him -- enjoying the thrill of consuming their food in whatever order they choose, and not being hushed while they talk.
I don't think TFW had a clue the C thing wouldn't just be a little bump in the road. He's gone, we miss him, but it was hard for all of us, he's getting tools, moving right along...aren't our new puppies CUUUUTE? She must be watching the ratings drop every week and thinking, "I just don't get it." But we do.

She's good filler if everything else fails. Bad ratings are better than none at all and having nothing in the can. If she doesn't know this, then she's more stupid when we imagined. TLC knows it, and thus they keep her around because she's always willing and able to put her face out there. She is at the bottom of the barrel, so to speak, but being there is better than being dumped into the landfill.
She has no control over what the Court decides, and there are so many skeletons in her closet that insiders can testify to, she know the mask is coming off. I think that terrifies her. ***** I got the sense Kate was pleading her case on Dr. Oz. She really wanted to emphasize that she's screwed up, but it's always out of love for the kids. I'm betting that's going to be her defense if it's true that Collin told his accounts of abuse. I wonder if Collin's not coming home because Kate's under investigation for abusing him, and they won't let him back until they've completed investigating and can be sure it's safe.
She's not part of any major ad campaigns like the other shows are **** "I AM"....a terrible mother. Uh, best for TLC to not put that out there when Kate admits to being under investigation for child abuse "many times".
Nice people generally make the best of things, even if they deserve much, much more. *************** Genuinely nice people don't have a calculator running in their head to determine if a gift is of the level they "deserve."
"You have to wonder what went on in those meetings. Why the delay? I don't think they actually had a moral compass and questioned whether they really should air this drivel" ********* Possibly: court order to swiffer C from all the tape thus far?
Now, whether this will stop her, who knows. I think so. The world has never been more against her. ****** The world doesn't love her anymore-that ship's sailed. The world doesn't love to hate her anymore-that ship's sailed. The world is weary of Kate Gosselin and frankly, starting to get pissed off. Those who aren't weary or pissed are simply indifferent. They nothing her, and that's her worst nightmare.
I'd like to read her journal entry she would have written if TLC had given her a plate of cookies instead of her 'usual' gift cards to Ann Taylor, Costco or Gymboree. Lordy Bee! Lol ***** Oh, snap! Remember (in Kate's journal) when she was ticked off that Jen handed her a bonus check for only $700 or $800? I think they were off on an all-expense paid trip to meet with K-Mart execs, and Kate was seething that K-Mart insulted her with such a paltry bonus.
She gets paid regardless but it's all about recuperating her salary with advertising dollars........................
Maybe I'm not remembering this correctly, but I'm pretty sure Kate does not get paid unless the episodes are aired. This was something discussed quite a bit back on GWOP.
It could be that it was Kate lobbying to have the shows aired & TLC trying to get out of it. Maybe she ground them down, too...
That's one of her favorite tactics to get her way. Just keep wearing you down sanding away at you until you're just like, stop, stop, I surrender. Surrender means banishment from the kingdom.
She is tenacious, I'll give you that.rcissists often are. **** Laser beam focus. Like a shark on the scent of blood 3 miles away ;-)
I don't think TLC is looks no at K+8 as filler these days. The fact is, they just aren't promoting it. If they want the show to continue, they would do normal promotion. We had Paranormal Lockdown on last night. There were ads for LPBW (building a fallout shelter-type thing), Outdaughtered (budgeting), Sister Wives, 600-pound life, Married By Mom and Dad, that Tyler Perry show, plus lots of others. No mention of K+8. Why not the occasional ad on their own channel? Unless they don't want it to well. Unless they are done with it.
We know the boys filmed their couch interviews last month. I think those were re-done to exclude any mention of Collin. Avoiding further controversy. But viewers don't forget. Even if C is brought back, everyone will remember that he was banished. They can't change that fact, ever. Viewers who watch because they have followed and loved the kids since toddlerhood feel betrayed. Everyone knows now that Kate lied for years when she said filming didn't harm the kids. It could not have been good for C, with his problems, to be forced to work.
Ratings are the worst they have ever been. This is probably the lowest-rated first-run season on TLC. There are lots of new shows, the Little Couple is coming back, and there are many existing shows with good ratings. TLC doesn't need the Gs for filler or anything else. And I think that is exactly how TLC wants it to be.
Weiner is really something to watch. It's on HBO. Talk about a narcissist who won't quit until he's brought the whole world down, even a very strong candidate who probably was slated to win otherwise. ****** Hey, I'm a career politician with lofty ambition, but whoops, I sex and Tweet my junk. Similar to J+K, Amy and Matt have a certain "rub" that fuels a bit of tension and resolution of tension- IOW, what drives storylines.

Admin (#174), c'mon, you know it's never about the subject at hand. It's about attacking you. You make her day when you engage.
Tucker's Mom (#170), if only some of that laser focus had gone to making herself more marketable. Acting lessons? Diction lessons? Production courses? Learning the ins and outs of the business aspects of TV? Reading Variety and the Hollywood Reporter cover to cover every day (or at least online)? With some hard work, I honestly believe she could've gotten one of those chair of her dreams on The View a few years ago.
She has no control over the Court and she knows it. She admits she has been investigated many times but with Collin "away", this time it is very different. She must be frantic.
I think the professionals treating Collin will recommend no more filming for him. His two brothers sitting on the couch would be a constant reminder that he is missing. I can't see how TLC can continue to film "minus one".
I really do believe that this time this IS the end. I do worry about the well being of the seven others because I feel they will bear the brunt of her "condition" when TLC inform her it's all over.
I used to post on GWOP. I don't recall a conversation regarding only getting paid if the show aired, but I cannot imagine a contract with that clause. She worked, she should get paid regardless.
Well, there's something you don't see every day. In the pat few hours, TLC's put up TWO new posts/clips on K8's page, in honor of National Aviation Day. The most recent one, creatively entitled "Breakfast at the Airport," features the devil himself, Jon Gosselin! How'd that happen?
Meanwhile, her FB likes are down roughly 200 from Tuesday. Isn't that special?

I can tell you how they're handling it on the FB page: The clips they posted for the Poconos all mention 8 kids, and there ARE 8, with the twins' BFF Marley. Just a little deceptive. I wonder if she's a credited cast member now.
With some hard work, I honestly believe she could've gotten one of those chair of her dreams on The View a few years ago. ***** I can't imagine the ladies of The View inviting Kate back to co-host. I agree that Kate could have had some sort of hosting job, but she doesn't have the "it" factor. Even if she was really nice, she's not magnetic and has no presence. She was innocuous enough, but anymore, the sheer volume of baggage she carries with her is a non starter. Sending a child away and complaining about how hard SHE has it? Intolerable and repugnant.
bm (#180), I share your concern about the other kids when this all disappears. There is no one else on TFW's radar but herself, so if the show does end, she may just lose it, and not care who her anger and disappointment effects. Heck, these kids have been parentified so much, they're probably already preparing with how to deal with Mommy if the show ends.
#AviationDay has us wondering how Kate manages wrangling 8 kiddies thorough the airport! #respect #KatePlus8
We know how she does it: Steve plus two nannies.
____________ Are people really this stupid to believe that she does everything all by her little lonesome self, or do they just pretend to be totally clueless?
TLC stinks (180) I think she gets paid no matter what. I remember when Honey Boo Boo was cancelled and they didn't air the last season (which was already filmed), it was stated that they had been paid. So it should be the same for Kate.
You know, I bet she thought that banishing Collin would be just like banishing everyone else from her life. Collin? He had to go learn skills to help him in life. Jon? He had to go for the health and safety of the kids. Family and friends? They didn't know how to help her. She's been banishing people forever, and it never came back to hurt her. She thought that this would be more of the same. Make a vague excuse and move on. She has to be stunned that everyone is 't praising her.
2) There also is nothing inappropriate about pointing out that your attitude toward gift giving/receiving is materialistic, crass and devoid of connection to the actual spirit of giving.
&&&&
Quite the opposite, it is materialistic, crass and devoid of connection to hoard onto your millions, refusing to give your hired help a proper Christmas tip like all good employers do. The only reason these folks hoard the extra money must be because of their own materialism.
She thought that this would be more of the same. Make a vague excuse and move on. She has to be stunned that everyone is 't praising her.

Do you think that she actually really doesn't get it? Is she capable of that kind of critical thinking, or does she have the same deficiency with which her fans seem to be afflicted?

I'd love to see Andrea's face when K8 gives her THREE containers of famous sticky buns, and says "Here dear, thanks so much for all your help this year." And I'd love to know if she gets paid separately by Figure 8 for her participation. Or maybe the deal is, they pay her salary. Would be very interesting to know what the payment arrangements for K8's household help are when K8's show is filming, as well as when it's not.

Can someone please talk "facts" concerning when H didn't want to leave Jon's. The first time I only heard that it was she was afraid of Kate. This more recent reason added Kate and Steve fought all the time. Please discuss what is truth if anyone knows. I hadn't heard that explanation before.
d love to see Andrea's face when K8 gives her THREE containers of famous sticky buns, and says "Here dear, thanks so much for all your help ***** The sticky buns that Andrea helped her with? Haha
I believe we first heard about the incident last April (2015). I think ROL had the story about K8 standing outside of Jon's screaming for Hannah to come home. But then a couple of months ago, InTouch released the three police reports that were filed about the incident, and that's where the part about Steve and Kate yelling at each other all the time was revealed.
If you go to this link, there are a bunch of separate stories the detail the police report allegations. Just search for Jon Gosselin and they should all come up.
@Layla (171) That's exactly the reason why i don't believe it would be because she's good "filler" that TLC would keep her despite poor ratings.I mean come on you could put any other show there(like the little couple for example)and they would of gotten 1 million viewers or at least higher viewers then Kate.Any other show would be better filler and get better ratings then Kate show would be.

Thanks for the link. Nice to see someone is finally picking up on the fact that she talks and talks and talks and makes absolutely NO sense. She did all of this on her very own.
I bet TFW's siblings, parents, relatives, the town is shaking their heads so hard after the Oz show.
What is wrong with her? She is mentally ill.
And it was manifesting today.
Loved the salad talk. I have reread and reread what she said and it does not make any sense at all. Jibberish, at best.
Jbranck, If you go to doctoroz.com, you can apparently watch any episode you want. Kate's episode should be available tomorrow. You're braver than I am. I don't need an aneurysm right now. Watching her lie for an hour is dangerous to your health.
Oh, I wonder if Jamie and Andrea are back in town to testify. Actually, I wonder if Andrea ever left. Maybe she just took some vacation time.
I've got a huge gut feeling the custody court isn't going so well for her. I think it could be very possible that that is why she IMO went too far on the Dr. Oz show when she said what she did about Jon not stepping up or caring for the best interests. I think she thinks she has nothing to lose now so go for broke.
By the way, where has deanna been? Do you think the C issue was just too far this time?

"They are empathetic to there's just one of you."
While that's the good part of being on her own, "the bad is, unfortunately, they feel torn a lot between parents and that really sucks."
Please.

Where and when did she call it her Master Plan? I believe that she wanted multiples to use as money-makers, but did she actually admit this was her plan all along?

I don't think there's anything to shake our heads about. We know what she's like, and I really doubt that too many locals take the time to watch or even care.

Well, the Oz interview was filmed on 11/18 along with GMA and others, so not recent. But I do wonder if she had just found out that the judge was going to let Jon see the kids on Thanksgiving. That would explain so much.

Kate was not the only guest on Dr. Oz. I noticed he had on two other people.
____
And she wasn't on the stage the whole hour, right? I think this might have been her first appearance on Oz. I don't think she'll go to Phil because I think he'd have no sympathy for her, and she knows it. She needs to stick with the really lightweight (Hoda and Kathy) programs.
She doesn't work.
She doesn't have a man or close friends-(I bet).
I bet she has nannies/helpers.
And don't the kids go to the same school?
++++++++++++
Jbranck1980
I don't understand why she's doing the shows. Changing public opinion isn't going to raise her viewership at all. No one cares.
If she's sweating the custody issue, appearing on Oz doesn't help her case (but could help Jon's).
Daily shows have such a small viewership it's a non-issue.
WHO CARES?
The only numbers TLC cares about is keeping the numbers in the black in ad revenue concerning her show.
If Jon can legally halt filming this is going to get interesting!
"Kate was not the only guest on Dr. Oz. I noticed he had on two other people."
There was a segment about dogs and a cooking segment. Things Kate knows nothing about.
SMDH
It's their decision. It's their relationship.
&&&&
&&&&
&&&&
&&&
&&&&

I kind of picture this as Kate languishing in her bed with the vapors, Nookie by her side (she has the vapors, too), and Jamie and Andrea being the bakers.

You are not alone. I am with you. I won't politicize, so I hope no one gets upset.
This is a travesty. The human atrocities!
My heart also goes out to the people of Charleston, SC for having to relive through the mass murder of their fellow Charlestonians.
The fiction continues (from IG):
misshelen37 They're beautifully done!
I'm sure Kate is planning on having them testify on her behalf. Maybe the trial is sooner than we think.

Tucker's Mom and Flimsy Flamsy,
I am just sick over the situation in Aleppo, too. All those people who did nothing to deserve it are suffering. It is just heartbreaking.
We've all seen Kate's lies. I'm wondering if she is a pathological liar.
Wasn't there talk here about the G boys saying they didn't mind making the lunches because that's when they got to talk to their mom?
On Dr. Oz she said the girls pack the lunches.
What IS the point in such lies? Pathologtical or compulsive, it appears to be constant.
Or did I imagine the whole thing about what the boys said?

You hit the nail on the head!
Don't forget Ashley. She seems to have moved on like Deanna.
Look how worn down Jon looked.
Look how worn down Collin looked.
Look how worn down Cara looks.
Look how worn down Alexis looked last couch interview.
It's Kate's way at any cost.

Some of the kids do look very worn down. Cara looks like she's sitting on that couch and saying zip just to say f-u Mommy!
Truth be told, she is making herself look really bad; the more she talks, the nastier she sounds. I really think she is "losing it," but this time, she may have gone too far.

Kate's anger at anyone using her kids for money or headlines is as bad as ever.

YES!

I recorded Dr. Oz (a one-off-can't stomach him) but can't get myself to watch. Did he say anything about Kate's admission that she refuses to tell Jon where his own son is?
How can you not sit up and say, "WTF, woman? You send your son away and don't even tell his father, let alone involve him?"
How to people NOT HEAR THIS?!!!

Exactly.
*****
I'm also now fairly certain that Collin's brothers and sisters have no idea where he is, and do not see him.

@Kateplusmy8 I love to see Collin too on the show.
^^^
Ugh these sheeple!
******
Agree.
&&&&
I do hope he's being helped by kind and caring professionals.

=======
Is it known that he won't be home for Christmas, or with Jon? Did Kate mention this?
Jamie and Andrea have made a dump truck load of money from her and is TFW thinking, they won't betray me.
Uh, yes, they will. In a heartbeat. They are not going to jail for you, precious snowflake cinnamon bun.
============
Why would they go to jail if they testify at a hearing?

@angelanprimm I can tell you: our show IS REALITY. It’s our real life that we r actively living. No redos or ‘lines’ no matter what u read!

Umm, what about those couch interviews you were doing mid-November for a show that was filmed in July? You're not claiming those were not re-dos, are you? Lies, lies, lies. Jon had it right.

____
Kate wouldn't mention it, oh no, she's a gag-order honorer. And Jon hasn't spoken out in weeks.
It's a week before Christmas and not a peep about Collin.
No photo of the annual Charlie Brown Christmas tree either.
&&&
&&&&
Teachers don't want baked goods.
&&&&
&&&&
&&&&

I bet she feels proud that she wasn't too dolled up, so she could trick people into thinking she just swung by to tape the show in between panic attacks.
can't figure out who she gives them to.

Kate plants the seed and nurtures it, but when that weed grows and strangles the life of the good plants, Kate says, "Who, me? I didn't make the weeds do that!"
Just the fact that people think it's ok to just let their kids choose not to see their father for weeks, months and years is nutso.
That's when you want to scream at the tv, 'It's ILLEGAL!!!!"

Only point I would disagree with is she is sick. This is a personality disorder. Sociopaths, narcissists and psychopaths cannot be helped. It's everyone in contact with them that need counseling and hopefully can recover. She never learned because she is incapable

The longer Collin is away, with no sign that he's coming home or even seeing his family, the more I tend to believe this.
*****
When you give gifts for the Holidays, you really need to think from the recipient's POV.
Tucker's Mom (#128), loved your garden analogy!
About time if you asked me.
&&&

&&&&
Lordy Bee!

Ever time and I mean ever time we thought Kate was done or should have been done on TV she claws her way back to our screens.
TLC is gross and so is Kate both of em" will find a way for her to come back.-(ugh)
Good God, it's no wonder why people leave her all the time-
she wears you down to the point that you shut down.
&&&&
That's one of her favorite tactics to get her way. Just keep wearing you down sanding away at you until you're just like, stop, stop, I surrender. Surrender means banishment from the kingdom.
&&&&

Why TLC allowed this season to air is beyond disgusting. They delayed the season several times instead of just canceling everything
____

If they've been apathetic about everything else, that sure got their attention.

she wears you down to the point that you shut down.

That's one of her favorite tactics to get her way. Just keep wearing you down sanding away at you until you're just like, stop, stop, I surrender. Surrender means banishment from the kingdom.

His surname fits him to a "T"....
Sad but true (#153), yes, notice she says, "everyone is lounging," but she doesn't say where! Could be on Dad's couch! Or perhaps they're eating breakfast with him -- enjoying the thrill of consuming their food in whatever order they choose, and not being hushed while they talk.
Where is Zorro? Like literally?
I don't think TFW had a clue the C thing wouldn't just be a little bump in the road. He's gone, we miss him, but it was hard for all of us, he's getting tools, moving right along...aren't our new puppies CUUUUTE?
She must be watching the ratings drop every week and thinking, "I just don't get it." But we do.
Where is Zorro? Like literally?

She's good filler if everything else fails. Bad ratings are better than none at all and having nothing in the can. If she doesn't know this, then she's more stupid when we imagined. TLC knows it, and thus they keep her around because she's always willing and able to put her face out there. She is at the bottom of the barrel, so to speak, but being there is better than being dumped into the landfill.
She has no control over what the Court decides, and there are so many skeletons in her closet that insiders can testify to, she know the mask is coming off. I think that terrifies her.
*****
I got the sense Kate was pleading her case on Dr.
She's not part of any major ad campaigns like the other shows are
****
"I AM"....a terrible mother.
Uh, best for TLC to not put that out there when Kate admits to being under investigation for child abuse "many times".

And she'll be right. See how awfully they behave on the show lately? It's all working out just as she's planned. :)
I'd like to read her journal entry she would have written if TLC had given her a plate of cookies instead of her 'usual' gift cards to Ann Taylor, Costco or Gymboree.

Oh, snap!

Laser beam focus.

No "Old Matt" and "New Matt"?
It's very interesting to compare and contrast how Amy and Matt have navigate a divorce, while still maintaining their business and reality show.
Similar to J+K, Amy and Matt have a certain "rub" that fuels a bit of tension and resolution of tension- IOW, what drives storylines.
Do you remember the episode when they were getting a room downstairs and J or A said something like 'we had fun times in this room" and C said "we got into a lot of trouble in this room"? It broke my heart.

I do worry about the well being of the seven others because I feel they will bear the brunt of her "condition" when TLC inform her it's all over.
bm
I used to post on GWOP. I don't recall a conversation regarding only getting paid if the show aired, but I cannot imagine a contract with that clause. She worked, she should get paid regardless.
Well, there's something you don't see every day. In the pat few hours, TLC's put up TWO new posts/clips on K8's page, in honor of National Aviation Day. The most recent one, creatively entitled "Breakfast at the Airport," features the devil himself, Jon Gosselin! How'd that happen?
Meanwhile, her FB likes are down roughly 200 from Tuesday. Isn't that special?
The other new FB post has this caption (this lip is from the Alaska episode):

I can tell you how they're handling it on the FB page: The clips they posted for the Poconos all mention 8 kids, and there ARE 8, with the twins' BFF Marley. Just a little deceptive. I wonder if she's a credited cast member now.

I can't imagine the ladies of The View inviting Kate back to co-host.

TLC stinks (180)
I think she gets paid no matter what.
&&&&
Quite the opposite, it is materialistic, crass and devoid of connection to hoard onto your millions, refusing to give your hired help a proper Christmas tip like all good employers do. The only reason these folks hoard the extra money must be because of their own materialism.
The clips they posted for the Poconos all mention 8 kids, and there ARE 8, with the twins' BFF Marley. Just a little deceptive.

Ha, uh oh, they're doing one of the cardinal sins that Jumping the Shark used to talk about when a show is toast: Same character, different actor.
She thought that this would be more of the same. Make a vague excuse and move on. She has to be stunned that everyone is 't praising her.

I'd love to see Andrea's face when K8 gives her THREE containers of famous sticky buns, and says "Here dear, thanks so much for all your help this year." And I'd love to know if she gets paid separately by Figure 8 for her participation. Or maybe the deal is, they pay her salary.
