The exploitation of these kids reminds me of the time Kate pulled down Collin's pants, sat him on the potty, and walked out, closing the door behind her and leaving him alone in a room with a man with a camera. Its been a while here, but I wanted to see what was new with the Gosselins since its the 6's birthday. I wasn't aware that last year Alexis came out as gay. She did claim that Kate was supportive which was nice of her. Also I feel like I might get flak for this but Mady also claims to be part of the LGBT despite having a boyfriend. I don't know about anyone else but I can't trust her claim because I feel like Mady would claim to be a part of the LGBT because she's one of those spicy straights who thinks being a part of the community makes her one of the "cool kids" when that was never the point of the entire movement.

I don't remember seeing that article before but it makes me sad that Mady doesn't appreciate the concerns people had for how much excessive time she spent on camera as a child, I'm not just talking about the interwebs, I'm talking about her own aunt and uncle and legislatures and activists like Paul.
She can't bring herself to say hey thank you so much for your concern, we're all doing fine. (Which, we don't know if they're fine they are very young yet, and secondly, even if everyone is doing "fine and dandy", doesn't meant the risk didn't exist to them and any other kid going through something similar.) Assuming the kids' comments are accurate if there's one thing Kate has done right is accept the kids from who they are. She's come a long way from her far rightly bible thumping roots. The LAST thing these kids need is to feel not accepted for who they are in their own family.

Hannah said in the vice special that collin was completely isolated from the rest of the kids: he had different mealtimes, schooling, room, he was not allowed to play with the other kids. This was already going on while they were still filming the show. This basically means Collin was being brought in for camera time, like some kind of show monkey at specific times. How messed up is that? He was probably told he is not to interact with his siblings, he is meant to just sit there.
You can see this plainly too: in the new england episode, Collin is always sat between Andrea and Kate. During the twins' birthday, Collin is brought to the venue separately, later than the rest of the kids. During every activity, Collin is literally just physically there (for little time, just long enough to be on camera).

I'm awfully surprised that Kate hasn't been, you know, willingly jumping at interviews such as the Today Show, Good Morning, People Magazine, or anything that will have her really in response to Collin's interviews like she was in her old days. Not that I would find that acceptable. But, she was out there in her old form towards Jon previously during the divorce constantly setting the record straight.
We weren't military background, so I'm also surprised why paperwork wasn't looked at prior to him enlisting. And why anything from his youth would be a problem. People grow up. I'm not on this kids case at all. We all know Kate's history.

Well the doctor wrote really good things about me but it didn’t get approved unfortunately because MEPS wanted me to talk to a civilian doctor in my own town for my evaluation. Well I didn’t have insurance so I paid 400 out of pocket the doctor gathered all my medical records talk to me wrote some pretty awesome things about me and gave his approval for me to join. I gave that to my recruiters and in 3 days it was approved. I recently graduated bootcamp and now I’m in A school to become a Corpman. It’s possible you just have to fight for yourself and not give up

Unlucky for her, many I would say MOST child abuse laws don't require you to "mean it." Child abuse is child abuse regardless your intent. Most are negligence type child endangerment laws. I really hope the DA takes a look at this. Parents have gone to jail for far less.

If she is broke, I wouldn’t be surprised. How long did she think she could live unemployed? She has nothing to offer as far as tv, she wasn’t a nurturing nurse (shocking!), what else can she possibly do? Maybe she can volunteer a bit north of her and help the folks in the mountains?
That was silly, she wouldnt do that without a camera in tow.

I have my doubts she ever wonders the cameras aren't coming back. I heard her on that special forces. She can now pursue what she wants without the kids. Or something along those lines. Well...go for it. Chance is it won't pan out! Reality is it just isn't going to go way she thought it would.
Like when one is a kid and you wanted to be a fairy princess, or super hero. Those type of dreams you eventual realize just aren't realistic. And Kate is old enough to realize that clutching her fingers are being a reality star aren't going to live up to expectations.
I use to when one of my kids boldly declared he wanted to be spiderman back in the day I enjoyed it but eventually he moved on to other things. It was cute to live in his world and help him climb the big tree in our yard. But, fact is fact. You have to help your kids grow up. Too bad she's I suppose wandering around for another show.
Real people have real problems. Sad she's forgotten she wanted to be a nurse. Or was that just to marry someone?
The blind item I posted earlier is about Kate. Somone commented Kate is living ins his town and worked at the same hospital as his mother in law. She was fired for a bad attitude and bedside manner. I don't know if it's true, but it sounds like Kate.
Ncgirl- that sure sounds like it could be Kate esp since some of the Collin articles said Kate was working on a new TV agreement but it fell through when Collin spoke up ???? Who knows.
Here is another little tidbit- look up who Kate is following on instagram and you will find Cara. Click on Caras profile and altho it is private it shows as being followed by collingosselin. If it doesn't show up for you, it may be because I follow Collin. So Cara doesn't have Collin blocked.

Kate never seems to have reconciled with her parents, either. Her father died not long ago.
Hi everyone! It's been a long time! Yet the narrative remains the same--poor, put-upon Kate is broke and needs a new show. We've been hearing that for more than a decade now. Time for her to move on. Doesn't she ever feel any shame about airing her financial problems publicly? don't bother answering, I already know the answer.
OT--for a quick catch-up, our "blog baby", Sully, just turned 5! How did that happen so fast? He is exceptional. He can read and write, he is taking piano lessons and learning to play Lacrosse like his dad. And Baby K is now a feisty, loud, giggly 3-year-old. She's in Pre-K 3 and taking ballet lessons. Her first recital was a couple weeks ago and she just loved being the center of attention. The other kids froze, some cried, but she was delighted to have all eyes on her. That's my girl!

Hubby and I are fine. We moved home to the Mid West after a glorious 10 year adventure in Texas. We are near family now. I spend a great deal of time with my 4 sisters.

Hello Dmasy! Good to hear you're doing well. And so nice to see some old names checking in here again.
I just saw the pictures of Kate with a couple other women and a small child. Obviously staged. Really, are we to believe that paps are lurking in the bushes in NC, just waiting to get a pic of her emerging from her house? Not a chance. And of course she's seen gushing over the baby, which appears to be a boy. Just after the story of her abuse of her Collin. The implication is clear--"Oh no, there's no way Kate would harm her child! Look, she's fawning over someone's little boy! She looovvvees kids too much to ever harm one!". Yeah, NO. I'm starting to think the story of her planning to get back on TV is true. Pics of her doing mundane things tend to pop up right before she makes an appearance. There were pics of her at the gym right before the Special Forces thing. And of course, we get stories of her financial problems right before she appears on something. This is, I think, her way of rehabbing her image to get back on TV. Funny how the only site to run the pictures is The Sun--a British tabloid. Nobody from the US appears to have picked them up. Too funny.
